We pray that as we hear your word, we listen to your word, you reveal yourself to us, you impart yourself into us and deliver to us particular keys that will open particular doors necessary for our forward movement.

[0:59] We thank you in Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. God is good. Now, last Sunday, I started a series, or I started teaching on the word.

[1:18] In the beginning, I can't hear you. Let's all say, in the beginning was the word. Let's go. In the beginning was the word. One more time.

[1:29] In the beginning was the word. Allow that for the last time. In the beginning was the word. In the beginning was the word. This is a month of new beginnings.

[1:40] So, a lot of new things are going to start in someone's life. Someone say amen. Amen. I said a lot of new and amazing things are going to start in someone's life.

[1:51] In the name of Jesus. I don't know who I'm talking to, but I know the person is here. Something new is about to start in your life in the name of Jesus. So, but we found out that new things just don't happen.

[2:08] If it must be of God, then it must be by his word. If it must be of God, then it must be by his word.

[2:19] We found out from scriptures that Abraham did not have a son or a child. And destiny waited till he was past the age of possibility.

[2:34] Just for God to show us that when he wants to do something, what matters is his word. Once he speaks, the scriptures say in Romans, let God be true and let every man be a liar.

[2:50] Romans chapter 3 verse 4. So, once God says it, every other thing does not matter. But God, because God is a speaking God, according to Hebrews chapter 1, verse 1, Bible says that God in times past, spoke to us by the prophets, speak in time past unto our fathers by the prophets.

[3:19] Say by the prophets. By the prophets. What did God do by the prophets? What did he do by the prophets? He spoke. I know some of you want to say speak. That's okay. He spoke by the, that's in Jewish Shakespearean English.

[3:32] Okay, speak. He spoke by the prophets. And the verse 2 says that, guess what? Verse 2 says that, what? He has in these last days spoken unto us by his son.

[3:45] So, God was speaking to the prophet, and he's still speaking to us, spoken and through his son. His son is the living word. Okay? Jesus is the living word, and God is a speaking God.

[3:59] So, then if anything must happen in your life, and it must take God, or a word from God, that means that, receiving a word from God is crucial for your next testimony.

[4:15] Unless it is not a testimony. But if it is a testimony, and God behind it, then a word is needed to trigger the testimony.

[4:26] And so, Abraham, he didn't have a son, but God said, I like the way Hebrew, sorry, Romans chapter 4, verse 16 and 17, pusset, 16 talks about it is by, by faith, so that it must be, it might be by grace, to the end that the promise might be made sure to all the seed.

[4:50] Did you see that? There's something in here. It says, the reason why it takes faith, faith is required, is because it's only faith that gives you access into grace.

[5:08] Faith comes by hearing of the word. It takes faith to access grace. God is a God of all grace.

[5:21] God is a God of, he is gracious, but to enjoy God, grace is God enjoyed, okay? To enjoy God, it requires faith. So, Bible, watch this, oh God, thank you, Jesus.

[5:34] Watch this, it says that, therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace, to the end, the promise might be sure to all the seed, okay?

[5:47] The promise is not only to certain people, it is to all the seed, but for all the seed to enjoy the promise, all the, it must be by faith, because if it is by law, or certain dictates, not all the seed can enjoy it.

[6:02] So, watch this, because God required that it be by faith, he said that, not to that only which is of their law. Did you see that? So, not those who are born under the law, the Jews.

[6:14] The promise of God is not only to the Jews. Guess who it is for? For those in charis. Who decided to walk by faith?

[6:26] That one, the amen was very low. Amen. For, so he said, it's not, that it, not to, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of faith, of Abraham.

[6:44] Who is the father of, did he say them all? Us. Us. Us. Us. Talking about, we, the believers, we are also children of Abraham.

[6:56] Not only the Jews. We, we are also, so he says that, watch this, but to, but to, so the promise is not for only under the law, but to, but to that also, which is of faith, of the faith of Abraham.

[7:13] Watch this, watch, watch, that's what I'm going to say. Of the faith of Abraham. Of the faith of Abraham. Say it again. Of the faith of Abraham. If you have Abraham's kind of faith, you have, you pass. So all, when you are, God is doing quality control test.

[7:30] Okay. When he's going through, he's trying to, you know, normally when they manufacture something, he has to go through certain process, and everything is finished, they have to quality test it, and make sure it's, before God, he'll be passed into the zone, of those who, who are enjoying, working in covenant testimony, working in covenant promise, you have to access it only by the faith of Abraham.

[7:51] So when you come, God is not looking at anybody. All he requires for is, are you demonstrating the kind of faith Abraham demonstrated? Because you are supposed to, it's all, it's only for the seed of Abraham.

[8:05] Did you say all the seed? All the seed. The promise might be to the end, and the promise might be, it is required, faith is required, so that it may go to all the seed. That's what I'm trying to say.

[8:16] Faith is needed, so that anyone who falls in the category, of the seed of Abraham, passes. Oh, someone is a child of promise. Someone is a seed of promise.

[8:28] Hallelujah. And the promise of God, will find full expression in your life. Say amen. So, now, Abraham had to, go to the next verse, let me show you something.

[8:41] Look, now Abraham, so now, talking about we, are the, all the seed of Abraham, who is the father of us all. As it is written, I have met you a father of many nations. Before him, whom he believed, that's Abraham believed, even God, who quickens the death, and calls the things which be not, as though they were.

[8:57] So, Abraham believed this God, and the Bible gave the, just gave a little description about God, the nature of God, the characteristics, some of the characteristics of God. You know how, if you walk with God, and you don't walk by faith, you'll be confused.

[9:10] Because God is talking to something that is dead, he's calling the thing as though he's alive. Now, it takes faith, to be in the frequency of faith, to be able to make sense, because, some of the things that God will be telling, some of us, we've been through things, where God has given you your word, and what you are seeing, is contrary to what you are going through.

[9:28] And God expects you to be praising him, and dancing, and then walk. It takes faith. It does. Other than that, you, you collapse on the way. Because the dead, and he calls things that don't exist, as though they already are.

[9:41] So, it's like, I'm speaking to, brother Ed, and I'm telling you, you know, when we close, just tell your pilot, that, I'll be 10 minutes later, and we'll just jump on your flight, on your private jet, and now, he'll look back, and check, is that me, Pastor, he's talking about?

[10:02] You can't have a private jet. See, God calls the things, that are not, as though they were. Yes, yes. That's why you don't go around, when you want to be with God, or want to, you want to walk in the realm of God, you don't go around, talking about, I'm down, I'm down, these things are not working, nothing is working, I'm so frustrated, I'm a failure, the devil is a liar.

[10:23] The devil is a liar. As soon as you talk like that, and begin to believe those things, you are moving yourself, out of the realm of God. God's frequency. Bible says that, with God, all things are possible.

[10:34] All things. With God. So, you, with God. Now, for God to come on your team, or for you to be in God's team, you must wear a certain jersey, it's called a jersey of faith. Hallelujah.

[10:47] Go back to the test, let me show you something. Verse 17 talks about how, Abraham, as the reader, made you a father of nation, before him who will believe, God, and calls, God calls, God calls, God speaks, he likes speaking, okay, calls some things.

[10:59] All right, go to the verse 18. That's not what I've been teaching on, but, it's okay. Tell someone it's okay. It's okay. Who against hope believes, Abraham, against hope believes, he hopes that he might become the father of many nations.

[11:13] Watch this. According to that which was spoken, this, so shall thy seed be. Watch this. All right. So, he believed, okay, he believed against hope. What, what it means is that, there's no way you can hope.

[11:25] For instance, can you imagine that one, I'm, I'm hoping that I'll swallow this camera. He understands. How can you swallow it at a goal? You can't. All right.

[11:35] So, against hope, he believed, hoping that he would do it. So, something that is practically and intellectually not possible, Abraham, that's against hope, okay, he just decided to go that direction.

[11:46] Why? Because God told him, so shall it be for you. So, once God says, so shall it be, watch this, this way I'm going, because God said it, it doesn't matter whether it makes sense or not, I'm going for it.

[11:59] Period. Because God said, it's a new beginning. It's a month of new beginning. Whether everything shows positive or not, I don't care. I'm going for a new beginning.

[12:10] I'm going for a new beginning. I'm going for a new beginning. In my marital life, in my financial life, in my health, in my career, I'm going for a new beginning. After this month, someone is going to receive a letter, that you have been accepted on the job.

[12:25] Someone is going to receive a letter, that you have been accepted on the course. Someone is going to receive a letter, that you have been granted permission. Someone is going to receive a letter, this very month, because some new things are about to begin.

[12:40] Hallelujah. So Abraham believed God. He believed God. This God calls things that be not as though they were, and he chose to believe him.

[12:53] And the problem is, he hoped against hope. Put the power of the verse 18. He hoped against hope, that he might become, Pastor Philip, can I have you here, please?

[13:07] Pastor Charles, can I have you here, please? Why don't you stand here? Why don't you stand here? I don't know why I'm teaching on faith, but it's for someone. It is for me. Now, God said, can I have God?

[13:26] God doesn't wear jeans. I'm kidding. Please, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. That's what religious people think. God wears anything that is normal for human beings to wear.

[13:40] Okay. All right. That's a joke, sir. Now face me, sir. So this is God, and he's telling me, this is where he's taking me to.

[13:51] But, there's no, okay, stand up here, please. I'm here. Go up, please. There's no way I can climb. But I said, this is where he's taking me to. All right.

[14:02] So God comes to me, and this is where I know everyone, my normal state. But he comes to me, and he didn't say the harm, he's going to polish me here, and help me here. But he says that this way is taking me to.

[14:13] So Abraham, so it is absurd. Can you imagine? If I come to you, I said, you know my dream, I want to become the prince of the United Kingdom.

[14:27] One of the princes. You know that there's something wrong with me. Either I'm ignorant, or I'm beginning to lose something up there. So, against hope.

[14:38] See, if you hope, how many of you ladies who are hoping that maybe Prince William? Not Harry, not Harry, not Harry, not Harry. Harry is possible. Say amen.

[14:49] You don't believe it. I said, Harry is possible. No. You see, some of you can't say, you can't stretch your faith. He, okay, okay, okay, okay. Oh, no, he's not a Christian.

[15:00] No, maybe he is. He's not. All right, let's leave that at it. I like that one. If he's not a Christian, we don't want him. Now, let's say, someone come to you and said, you're going to be married to Prince William.

[15:11] No, it's too odd. The first place, he's already married. Number two, where you play, he doesn't even know that place exists. Inpeccal right.

[15:25] He doesn't even know that. So, again, so can you imagine someone in church and believing, God told me, no, wait, God told you, no, you are telling yourself, God told me, I'm going to be married to Prince William. Against hope.

[15:36] And God comes to say something seemingly absurd to me, and I choose to believe what he said. In spite of my condition, staying where I am, I choose to believe that I'm going to get there.

[15:51] Because, why? Not because I want to, because I won't dare it. But the only thing that gives me audacity to believe, audacity to hope, the only thing that gives me the audacity is, his word said to me, look at it on the screen again, he says in verse 18, that he, that he might become, who against hope, against hope, against hope, he believed in hope, believing in hope, based on God's word, and believing that what God has said, believe in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, he didn't have a child at very old age, father of not only one child, but many nations, that's absurd, he might become the father of many nations, watch this, that word, what's the word?

[16:35] What's that word? Louder. One more time. Can't you see it? Louder. Louder. Louder. Louder. According. On the basis of what was spoken.

[16:49] So his audacity was based on a word he received. According to that which was spoken, so shall. So God showed him the stars, and then now told him, look at the stars, so shall thy seed be.

[17:05] So God showed him what looked impossible, and God told him, it was based on a word. A word. A word. A word came to him, and said, so shall thy seed be.

[17:16] And Abraham decided to believe. Do you understand that? God bless you, please take your seed. Abraham decided to believe. Watch this.

[17:27] And we became, and he says that, we are, the promise, this promise is supposed to be by faith, so that all of us can qualify. Because if it has to be by genealogy, if it has to be by background, background, you won't qualify.

[17:46] But if it has to be by faith, by faith, by the faith of Abraham, watch this, because we are all the sons of Abraham, or Abraham is the father of us all, so we are supposed to exhibit the faith of Abraham.

[18:00] And the faith of Abraham is the faith, that believes God for what he said. Watch this. So, if God is going to do anything in your life, he first of all, will send his word.

[18:12] According to Psalm 107, verse 20, he said, he sent his word. Hallelujah. He sent his word. God is sending someone a word.

[18:24] I know it. God is sending someone a word. You didn't come here by accident, or you are not listening by accident, a word is coming to you, that it is not over.

[18:35] You are not finished with. A word is coming to someone. It's a new day for you. Things are about to turn around for you. In the name of Jesus.

[18:49] Shout hallelujah. He sent his word. He sent his word. The Bible says that he sent his word, so he didn't go. He just sent the word.

[19:01] And the action took place. There was a man who came to Jesus, and his child was sick. His servant was sick. Jesus said, I'm coming home. He said, you don't have to master.

[19:12] Matthew chapter 8, verse 8. He said, you don't have to come home. Why? Because I've looked on. I've looked on into some deep insights. Say mystery. Say mystery.

[19:24] The kingdom of God is full of mysteries. Mysteries. Mysteries are things or principles, which no more human mind doesn't process it like that.

[19:35] So, for instance, God said, if you, in the kingdom of God, worldly system, it is, you, you buy and sell.

[19:48] That's business. You make profit. Buy and sell. Buy and sell. In the kingdom, he said, you sow and you reap. You sow and you reap. I had one great man of God saying this this afternoon, and it was a blessing about how Noah, when Noah came out of the ark, and God said in his heart, that he's not going to destroy man again.

[20:13] The entire human being is going to wipe them out. No. He said, now everyone's faith is in their hands. What does that? He said, seed time and harvest time. We'll not see.

[20:23] So, the way you are sowing will determine how, the kind of harvest you have. I'm not going to trouble you. Seed time. It's a principle God sets in motion. Hallelujah. And so, when it comes to the kingdom, there are mysteries.

[20:36] Say mysteries. Say mysteries. I'm saying that for a reason. Say mysteries. Mysteries. For instance, some of the mysteries of the kingdom is, he said, is anyone afflicted?

[20:50] James chapter five. Let him pray. Is anyone afflicted? James chapter five, verse 13, 14, somewhere there. And then he talks about, is anyone merry?

[21:01] Let him sing. He said, any amongst you afflicted, let him do what? Let him call his uncle. He said, uncle, bring me money. Uncle. Is that what he said?

[21:12] He said, let him call his friends. He said, begin to cry on them. He said, if any amongst you, start talking about we believers. Believers, this is how you do when trouble comes.

[21:22] Do what? Pray. You got to pray. Just to make it that day. That's why we pray. We pray. You have to pray. So hallelujah. Anytime something hits you, the first thing, when trouble shows up, pray.

[21:38] Pray. Pray. Do you know what? It's a mystery. How come you have applied for, you did hear the assistant's testimony.

[21:49] That's one of the amazing testimonies we've had this, this few days. He says that, I sent it to the home office three years. But she prayed.

[22:02] And oil was poured on her. And it began changing things. That's a mystery. That's a mystery. How can you be on your knees here and lift up your hands and be praying and someone in America is making a decision, changing a decision in your favor.

[22:20] Your company, they have headquarters somewhere, maybe in China. You go on your knees, you are praying and all suddenly, they make some strange decisions in your favor.

[22:31] They don't know you are praying. that lady. She says that, I had a court case. Pastor said, anyone with a court case, let's pray. And I prayed and said, God, I believe you.

[22:43] And guess what? It actually turned into her favor. This is a mystery. It's a mystery. So, the kingdom of God is full of mysteries. The way things are done.

[22:55] The way God, so what it requires is, you have to connect your faith, latch on to what God is saying, and the responsibility for the fulfillment lies on God. So, when the man came to Jesus, he said, don't come to my house.

[23:11] Only speak the word. Matthew 8, 8. Only speak the word and guess what? My servants shall be made whole. He said, only speak the word, speak the word only and my servants shall be healed.

[23:27] You don't need to come because there is something about just the word. Say just the word. Say just the word. So, if you're looking for a beginning in God, you need to have a word.

[23:40] Abraham's situation was a death situation, but he received a word and the word, guess what? The word quickened his death, his death body and quickened Sarah's death womb.

[23:53] It wasn't him who was doing it. It wasn't medication. It wasn't medication. He was on the word. I don't know what doctors have told you. Get the word.

[24:05] Get the word. This is a medicine bottle. It's a medicine bottle for someone. Get the word. Now, as I told you, there are several ways of getting the word.

[24:21] Personal studies, we'll go into that maybe later. Personal studies. But I also spoke about when the word is being taught, when the word is being preached. The word, when it's being preached, you have to receive God's word.

[24:35] Bible says that I spoke about a few days ago about different types of people, how to receive the word. I spoke about something. You receive it joyfully. You receive it with readiness.

[24:46] You receive it with gladness. Readiness, gladness, meekness. Receive it in the midst of affliction with joy. And the last one, what did I say?

[24:57] Receive it as the word from God. I remember 1 Thessalonians 2 verse 13. Receive it as the word from God. So you have to receive the word. It talks about when the word is received, it can say, oh, James chapter 1 verse 21.

[25:13] It says, I receive it with meekness to save your soul. The word is able to save your soul. It says, with meekness, receive it with meekness, which is able to save your soul.

[25:28] You know, when you have a problem in your soul, medication doesn't help. It just can just keep you so that your mind can feel funny in a certain way.

[25:38] But, at best, they refer you to counselors. Someone ought to be talking to you and to help your mindset in processing some things differently. But it says that when you take the engrafted word, it's able to save your soul from addiction.

[25:55] There are a lot of celebrities who are suffering with addiction. Not that they would like it, but they are hooked up. Some of them are being controlled by the bottle. But the word is able to save your soul.

[26:10] Your soul. Every addiction, anyone suffering any form of addiction here, I command addiction broken by the receiving of God's word in the name of Jesus. I break every power of addiction here now.

[26:22] I break every power of addiction now. I break the power of addiction. I break the power of addiction. I break the power of addiction now. So, receive with meekness.

[26:37] Now, in my studies, I came across something which I've realized is very interesting. Jesus told a parable. Actually, now I'm about to start my message. Jesus told a parable.

[26:49] In Matthew chapter 13, it's repeated as well in Mark chapter 4 and in Luke chapter 8. But we are going to stay on Matthew chapter 13. Matthew chapter 13, very interesting account from verse 1.

[27:03] Please take your Bibles. Let's go to Matthew chapter 13 from verse 1. Say the word. The word. Hmm. I love your word. Oh, hallelujah.

[27:16] From verse 1, on the same day, Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea and great multitude were gathered together to him so that he got into a boat and sat and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

[27:33] Can I go a little? Can I touch on this text a little bit? Is that okay? Let me touch on this text a little bit. If you read the text before, the chapter before, the Jews were giving Jesus problems.

[27:46] They didn't want to accept him. They were giving him problems. Read it. So, Bible says that the same day Jesus went out of the house. He went out of the house.

[27:57] The house signified, I think chapter 4 verse 17, I think so. The house signifying the house of Israel. It's very symbolic. He moved out of the house and went to the sea.

[28:12] Went to the sea. The sea reflects or signifies the Gentiles. The Gentiles. Say the Gentiles. So, Jesus went out of the house and sat at the seaside.

[28:28] Okay? Sat at the seaside. So, it's okay to go to the beach. Sat at the seaside. All right.

[28:39] And, guess what? A great multitude got it got it onto him. So, he went into a ship. Some translations say into a boat and sat. The boat signifies the church which is on the sea.

[28:54] The church in the world but the world is not in the church. It is in the world but not of the world. So, Jesus says, why are you telling me this?

[29:05] So, that you can understand some mysteries. The truth of God's word is committed to the church. The mysteries of the kingdom is given to the church.

[29:17] You will find out later. I will read it down. The mysteries of the kingdom. So, you want to know how God is going to bless you? Make sure you don't miss church services and messages out of church.

[29:28] if you go to the monks, you won't get it. You won't get it. God can't help you. At best, he will bring you to church to help you.

[29:41] Pastor, how can you say that? Try it. You try it. You find out that God doesn't help people outside the church. He starts with the church. Bible says that the church, battle.

[29:51] Last time I referred to it, battle. When Joseph woke up, he saw a ladder in a dream. He saw a ladder which is the top goes to the heavens, the bottom is on the earth, and angels were descending and ascending on it.

[30:04] And when he woke up from his sleep, he said, wow, Genesis chapter 28 verse 16, wow, God was here and I did not know. God can be here, you know, you know.

[30:15] So he woke up, he said, God was here and Jacob woke up out of his sleep and he said, surely the Lord is in this place and I knew it not. And verse 17 talks about how Joseph and he was afraid and said, how dreadful is this place?

[30:29] This is not, none other but the what? The house of God, he called the place, the house of God, which is the gate of heaven. That's interesting. The gate, you know, city gates, gates, shows if you want to enter a place, go to the gate and you call, go to the next, let me show you something, it's very important for someone to know this.

[30:48] And Jacob arose early in the morning and took a stone, and he had put for a pillow and set it up for a pillar and poured oil upon on the top of it, go to the next, let me show you something and call the name of that place, what?

[31:01] Bethel, which is the house of God. And so watch this, he said, when he saw communication between heaven and earth, on earth, the entry point is the house of God, which is the gate of heaven.

[31:15] Does that make sense? The house of God. God can't help our generation outside of the church. That's why the devil fights nothing more than the church.

[31:27] He fights everything about the church, the church location, can't try and discredit church leaders easily. Any little thing you find, discredit church leaders, discredit churches, discredit their power and poverty in church.

[31:43] church. Many people think church is supposed to be poor. Many people think that church, if you are going to church, you are supposed to be poor. If you have a lot of money, some people here, the reason why God will wait for a while for Pastor David to keep teaching you to understand kingdom secrets is because if he gives you money right now, you will think I have too much money, why am I going to church?

[32:05] Some of you don't know, but you know. Some people is in their hearts. When money gets into their hands, have you been seen from the offer they gave you at your workplace? You were willing, it doesn't matter.

[32:16] But you go to church, don't worry, church, I will always go. So God has to wait because he needs to help you. Your being in church is not to help God.

[32:29] Tell someone, your being in church is just to help you. Do you understand what I'm saying? Anyway, so the church is the house of God.

[32:39] There are secrets, there are mysteries. And so Jesus Christ sat in the boat and the sea and began to teach the people from the church, from the boat. You remember I told you typologically Noah's Ark is a sign of the church, it's a symbol of the church.

[32:53] That's the only safe place. There's nowhere cool, Lord. There's nowhere cool. I prefer getting a husband from church than a party. You will say amen.

[33:08] Some people will find out later. how true what I said is. I prefer to get a husband from church who is a member of a church. I prefer to get a wife who is a member of a church.

[33:22] See the way I'm enjoying? I found her in church. church. You import your own from outside. You will see me. I found my own in church.

[33:35] And I remain in church. And since we are growing in church, open your eyes. Your own is in church. Open her eyes. Hallelujah.

[33:47] Hallelujah. Do not target anybody.

[33:57] Target his word. the word of God in you. That's what will attract. Because there's something. God will give you a word and he put the seed in that someone else.

[34:09] So you will attract. So if you are not looking for word, you are in church and when the preacher is going on, you are trying to. Because you know we are about to finish preaching right now and we are dancing.

[34:20] So you are looking at maybe you may impress someone. You will remain like that for a very long time. Because if there must be a new beginning, where must it start from? It starts with the word.

[34:32] Stop going around saying, are you the one to come or should we expect another one? John the Baptist said are you the one to come or should we expect another one?

[34:46] Alright, let's go back to the text. Some of you are not enjoying this bit. Because it's too true for you. Then Jesus spoke many things to them in parables saying, behold, a sow went out to sow and as he sowed some seeds fell by the wayside and the birds came and devoured them.

[35:12] Some fell on the stony places where they did not have much earth. Some fell on stony places where they did not have much earth and they sprang up because they had no depth of earth.

[35:26] But when the sun was up they were scorched and because they had no roots they were withered away. Verse 7 And some fell among tongues and the tongues sprang up and choked them.

[35:40] But others fell on good grounds and yielded a crop some a hundredfold some sixty some thirty. He who has ears to hear let him hear.

[35:54] Now as I told you I said earlier on Jesus had been talking to the Jews his people and in the preceding chapters they were giving him problems.

[36:09] And the Bible says that he went out of the house he sat by the seaside people gathered he went into the boat and from the boat began to teach them and the scriptures said that he taught them many things in parables.

[36:24] And watch this brothers and sisters I found out through my studies that he spoke seven parables in chapter thirteen. How many? Seven parables.

[36:36] The first one is the one we just read. The first one is the parable of the sower. Now how did the first one start?

[36:47] I think that should be in verse three. Let's read it all together. Verse three. Three sorry. Let's read it all together. Let's go. And he spake many things unto them in parables saying behold a sower.

[37:02] Watch that. He spoke many things unto them in parables. Maybe it should have come like one of them is sower went to. But I said he spoke many things unto them parables saying and so I went to sow.

[37:16] So the many things he was saying was all kind of they fall in the bracket of a sower going to sow a seed. Even though that in itself was a parable that parable didn't open up with like the kingdom.

[37:30] Look at the other parables. I want to show you something. Look at the other parables. Look at verse 24. Look at that. See how he opens up these parables.

[37:43] Is someone following? Are you sure? How does it start? Let's read this together. Let's go. Another parable put he forth unto them saying the kingdom of heaven saying the kingdom of heaven take note of that statement or that phrase.

[38:03] The kingdom of God is liken unto that's the parable he told them another parable that means that the first one was a parable another parable he told them saying kingdom of heaven is liken unto a man who saw good seed in his field saying that's what they say look at verse 31 verse 31 we are going to read it out loud together are you ready let's read it out let's go another parable put he forth unto them saying the kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard did you see that same so what did he start the parable by telling them the kingdom of heaven is like this the kingdom of heaven so second third parable we realize that he said he was giving them an illustration a picture of how God's kingdom or the kingdom of heaven looks like he didn't say the kingdom of heaven is he said the kingdom of heaven is like so an analogy it was analogical language parable to para you know ball what's a ball going to a ball parabole is the

[39:22] Greek word for parabole bowling what's bowling what's bowling it's true so para parabole so para means side okay parallel parallel lines they don't meet so parabole so he throws something alongside so they are going together you can look at this like when you're watching the race there is a camera which is also running with the people it goes along so that he can take exact who crosses the line so it's a parable alright so he told them a parable he told them something so that he can help them have a better picture but all these things were said in parables for a reason because the kingdom of God is full of mysteries alright so what verse will we just do verse 31 look at verse 33 then we go to verse 44 then we go to verse 45 then we go to verse 47 and verse 33 says that another parable spake he unto them the kingdom of heaven is liken unto living which a woman took the woman took some yeast living and put it in the bread but watch this this parable he said the kingdom of

[40:47] God is like this so the second one the kingdom of God is liken unto this the fourth one the kingdom of God is liken unto this now the 5th one verse 44 again the kingdom of heaven is liken unto treasure hidden in the field did you see the kingdom of God is like the kingdom of God is like go to verse 45 again the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man go to verse 47 verse 47 again the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net that was cast into the sea and gathered all kinds every kind you see that the church is like we gather all kinds that's okay but but did you notice these are seven parables he said that only the first one look at the first one again let's go to the first one you realize problem number two three four five six seven they all said the kingdom of god is like but the first one was very unique in that verse three says that and he spoke many things of them parables say behold as all went to sow ah someone catching it so what is the difference that tells us that the soul going to sow actually encapsulates every other one what he was going to say all he was going to say you can you can trace everything he said into this same principle because he didn't say the kingdom of god is like a principle he said a sower and you know who the sower is who is that sower i met a certain pastor called pastor sower actually he was here look at look at verse 37 look who is that sower look at verse 37 let's all read it together is that okay let's read it let's go and he answered and said unto them he that sowed the good seed is who the son who is the son of man jesus is the sower he sowed the seed the good seeds now we'll time will not permit that but we're going to pick it up again where we are going to go into the seed that was sold or the grounds that the seed was sold into all right but now what is the seed the seed i like the way the account in luke chapter 8 puts it he was luke chapter 8 account what he said about the seed look at verse 11 luke 8 11 i like this his disciples came to him and asked him can you explain this parable of the sower to us and you know how he started look what did he say let's read it all out let's go oh i don't hear you some have decided not to read let's read it all out everybody what is the seed what is the seed the word of god is the seed in first peter chapter 1 verse 23 he said you are born again by the incorruptible seed of the word so the seed is the weather he said it clearly he said the seed is the word the sower is the son of man the seed is the word the seed is the word let's all say the seed is the word said the seed is the word what do you do with the seed you sow it i know some of us have been eating all kinds of seeds but seeds are supposed to be sown what do you do with the word the seed you sow it now if you want an apple tree in your in your garden what do you have to do go get some apple seeds and do what and give yourself time get away and give yourself time you'll be married oh your financial status will change

[44:51] there's there's no way you can you can be hooked onto the word and your life remains the same because the seed will grow but the problem is we are all receiving the same word the jesus said but there's four and so i went to sow and in those days you know how they used to sow they were not as developed and as can i have a bag i saw a very nice bag let me have the red bag it's a very nice one so so i was told that there are three things you want you don't ask a woman her age her her weight and what is in her bag all right but i hope you don't mind okay this side i can open it okay i will open the main one so so those days that's how the sowers do they put their hand in the bag they have a seed bag like the bible is a seed bag because it said the seed is what the word the seed is what the word so what you have is a seed bag seed bag whatever situation you have find the seed sow it in your in the garden of your heart so the sowers go the sowers go this is what they do they go and then they throw it so unlike what we do most of the time you take your time and then maybe you put a a line and then sew them systematically that's how they sew so see what it took it takes the seed and throws it takes the seed and throws it takes the seed and throws it like the way when i'm preaching example will be sleeping others also i feel like not giving this bag because the bag is very cool it doesn't match my type i wish it matches my type i would have taken it here a little bit what do you think have faith in god please clap for us so oh my god my time let me just add a little bit so he throws the so he says the soul went to sow let's go back to the text and it's very interesting see this is an opening comment in the seven parables the first one was so important if you get it well all other things begin to fall in place and he says that when he went to sow watch this i like this i like this hallelujah okay so the saw went to sow okay and said that's what and his uh as he saw verse 4 as he saw my teacher 13 verse 4 as he saw some seed fell by the wayside so the first place one of the places that seed can fall is what wayside say wayside say wayside all right so some seeds fell on wayside is it possible or god is actually not it's impossible god is actually telling us but as i'm speaking here some people they are their hearts are wayside why are the waysides here no i don't know i don't want to be a wayside i don't want it so if you ask who is the wayside i will not own up because i don't want to be categorized as the wayside but you know what time will tell us so wayside has not been it has not got anything to do with how long you've been in church it's not got anything to do how old you know the quotation much of that they are usually usually those who are easily the thing for by wayside so so so it has not got anything it has to do with the state of your heart as you receive god's word right but we'll go further into that later on but let's establish the four grounds okay sowing grounds or soils the four types of soils and then maybe we can pull the cat draw the cat in on that and then we pick up again

[48:52] now watch it so it says that verse four and um as he saw some seeds fell by the wayside and the bears came and devoured them birds birds for we wrestle now against flesh and blood but against prosperity spiritual wickedness heavenly heavenly places best spirits spirits we will go into the you'll be see the reason why this new beginning word we are receiving it's like the devil is determined babu talks about immediately as soon as i'm going to receive the word immediately satan is waiting at the door immediately satan comes because if you are a west side soil if your heart is a west side soil the word will not last outside of this building god can only help you based on his word and satan is taking the word away from hallelujah oh i pray that god will deliver us from being wayside christians so so and the best of the air i'll go deeper into it in our next session um the the best of the air the air took it away came and devoured them some fell on the stone oh oh stony places where they did not have much earth and they immediately sprang up because they had they had no depth of earth but when the sun say the sun the sun when the sun was up they were scorched and because they had no roots the sun is what makes plants germinate how is that this same sun is killing your plant there's the root matter roots roots because what it fell in stony places i'll show you what stony places is the next time i'll show you stony places or the rocks there are people we we it's not we are all likely to have rocks okay let me just tell you so that you can take it out is that okay or i should wait for the next time rocks rocks rocks what what what constitutes rock in our life rocks hidden sins are rocks hidden sins personal desires personal you want this i want this personal cravings they tend to be like rocks in our life stones and the word ends up when your pastor is preaching seriously is falling on hidden sins hey someone say mercy the word is coming powerfully jesus is speaking to the church and the word is coming to you he's speaking through his servant the word is coming to you but it's falling on some personal desires so the sun the blessed the anointing oil that is what i suppose the sun oh hallelujah and then self-seeking and self-pity as for me nothing good will happen they are all stones stones that's for me nobody knows what i'm going through remember that my father died when i was three years and i couldn't attend any school when i was in secondary school my parents divorced so i couldn't concentrate so i fell off my exam as for me i don't have a certificate like all the others so no one likes me see it's self-pity self-pity it's form it becomes like stones rocks in your heart and it's spoiling the opportunity for god's word that is bringing a miracle bringing new beginning in your life the the rocks are choking this word rocks self-pity and self-seekers you're seeking everything is just based on me me

[52:59] me and sometimes a word is coming you think they are preaching you it becomes so important that everyone must stop everyone doesn't matter you are the wonder so let me finish this so it fell so the first grounds the first type of soil is what wayside the second one is what stony place is okay now let's look at the third third one in the verse um seven and some fell amongst were tongues not shakalala la la la tongs tongs tongs all right some fell among tongs oh look at this sprang up some fell among tongs and uh among tongs and the tongs sprang up and shocked them is there a possibility that there's a word you have received it's about to take fruit but tongues around you they say now that's god why me now i'm not getting any testimony is there tongues is there tongues it's spoiling your testimony is there i'm not saying don't speak in tongues i mean you know i mean tongues th so people are very quiet to me but i think it's good because it looks like when you are very quiet it's can be that maybe your soul is becoming the the next type of soul we are going to talk about it's not wayside it's not rocky or stony and it's not thony so what is the third one this this this is jesus who spoke before i started describing the mysteries of the kingdom the mysteries is that the kingdom of god is like the kingdom of god is like before i start that you have to get this parable because all these things work based on the sort type of soil your heart is because the seed is the word the word is that finally let's say the last one the last one in verse verse 8 says but others fell on good ground and yielded testimonies hey hey hallelujah others fell on good grounds

[55:18] And yielded breakthroughs. And testimony. And someone shouting hallelujah. And when pastor said it. I connected myself. And when I went off. It has happened hallelujah.

[55:35] Fell on good ground. Fell. And guess what. Guess what. He fell on good ground. And produced yielded crops.

[55:47] And yielded crops. Some hundredfold. Some sixtyfold. Some thirtyfold. Will go into that one too. Why is it not at the same level? Some of the seed.

[55:58] Some of the seed will produce the soil. Some of the same seed. But some of the soil. It has the capacity. Capability of producing just thirty. Other soil have the capacity.

[56:11] To produce sixty. Other soil have the capacity. To produce hundred percent. Now when you say hundredfold. It is not talking about. A hundred. More of seed.

[56:22] It is talking about. Hundred percent. When they say they are doing sale. Hundred percent off. Hundred percent off. You know somebody didn't understand that.

[56:33] They said they are not. And I say. Hey. There is no sale. It is a gift. It is free. Hundred percent off. If they are doing sale. They say sixty percent off.

[56:44] It is quite very good. You know. Sixty percent. That means you are paying how much? Forty percent. So if it costs thousand pounds. And sixty percent of how much are you paying? Sorry.

[56:57] I shouldn't have come to you. He said it. He said four hundred. You are paying four hundred. So someone may pay four hundred. And that is four hundred.

[57:08] May be the sixty percent off. Another person may be paying forty pounds. And the forty pounds is still sixty percent off. But four hundred and forty are not the same.

[57:22] I see hundredfold. I see hundred percent testimony. Whatever is being issued out from here. I see it manifesting in your life. If you are watching us online.
