The will of God is paramount to the move of God. Every move is based on His will. The will of God has a lot to do with the plan of God on earth. When God has an agenda with your life, don't think the benefit is just for yourself.
[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for listening to this wholesome word by David Entry. The words you catch will change your world. May your story change from this message.
[0:10] Be blessed. There's something I just want to draw your attention to. I'm laboring fervently for you in praise that you will stand perfect. Perfect and complete in all the will of God.
[0:25] What? In all the will of God? Did you see his prayer topic? Did you see his prayer topic?
[0:37] When I was studying, he don't know me. That should be primarily the focus of our prayers for people, church people. First of all, these things he's mentioning before their job and their marriage.
[0:50] These are important, right? Some of you, if I tell you I'm not praying for your marriage, you won't come to church. So I'll pray for your marriage. I will do because it's important. But when a pastor says, I'm praying for you.
[1:04] Pastor, when you are praying for people, let's not put the cart before the horse. Call things first. He says that this guy is laboring in prayers. Let's all read the air from the screen.
[1:17] Let's go. Epaphras, who is one of you? He says, I'm a son of Christ. So do you see me? Always laboring fervently for you in prayers. That he may stand perfect and complete in all the will.
[1:31] I can't imagine. If time permits, I'll give you 12 prayer points. Epaphras, all they use for the church members. But he's praying, number one.
[1:42] He says that he's praying that you will stand perfect and complete in the will of God. Colossians 1.9 brings up the will of God again.
[1:53] Colossians 1.9. For this cause, we also, since the day we heard of it, do not cease to pray for you and to desire that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will. Prayer topic.
[2:07] An apostolic prayer topic for the church is not about jobs. Please, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying job is not important. But pastor, the will of God is that I should get a good job.
[2:19] That's the will of God. Yes, but that's the baby will. The will of God is that I should get a good wife or a good husband. Oh, yes.
[2:30] But that is petty. That's baby will. I think we need to actually establish the actual will of God. The will. Someone say the will of God.
[2:41] Can I go off into the will of God and come back? The will of God. Pastor, I really want to know the will of God. I really want to know the will of God. I understand that, the context of that statement. So, that, maybe I want, I'm thinking of relocating to Reading or I'm thinking of relocating to Bristol.
[2:58] Where should I go? Please, that's a good Christian. Praying, that's, you won't get it wrong. I'm thinking, three guys have showed up, showed interest in my life, but they are all good. I'm not sure which one.
[3:10] I want to know the will of God. It's worth praying about these things. It's worth praying. But don't spend all your time about God, the will. I remember years ago, before we got married, I had a friend.
[3:20] Years ago. You know, Christian, those times, the Christian sisters were not that aggressive. Okay. Okay. Okay. Not all. Not all. Some, some I can understand because the timing needs somewhat seriousness.
[3:39] You have to, you have to, yeah. Yeah. Others too, they can. Like the time I saw Pastor O, when I was interested in marrying her, she was still in her late teens.
[3:52] Yeah. So you can say she's a teenager, 19, 18. And I was also, I think, 21. I was 23. I wasn't 20, please. My wife said, hey.
[4:04] I was 23. I was 23. I forgot. Later, I'll work out the figures. But I can imagine 23.
[4:19] Yeah. Listen, I think I was 23. Okay. 23-year-old guy. Church boy. Who wants to marry. When I was interested in her, she was young.
[4:31] But unfortunately, some of us, we didn't have that privilege. When you were young, you were wild. You have arrived a bit late. So take your time in the Lord.
[4:48] Every time you have to learn how to play this song. Wait on the Lord. Wait on the Lord. He will renew your strength.
[5:01] Wait. Wait on the Lord. Wait on the Lord. Wait on the Lord. Wait on the Lord. He will renew your strength.
[5:16] So wait. Don't be in a rush. And when someone's wedding is announced, don't have headaches. Don't feel like things are bad.
[5:27] Don't worry. God has a way of distributing for the elephant to have his portion and for the aunt to also have his portion. So wait on the Lord.
[5:37] So wait on the Lord. It does not matter how long it takes. Bible said, even though it tarries, yet it shall surely come to pass. Wait.
[5:48] Write the vision. Make it plan. For at the appointed time. For at the appointed time, it shall speak. Shout hallelujah.
[5:59] Hallelujah. Don't fret yourself about others who are going forward. No. Naturally, it can be a reason for consent. But don't fret yourself. Your timing is coming.
[6:13] Elizabeth, in the Bible, got her son at an old age. But he became one of the greatest. That's why we are still reading about Elizabeth. There are people who had their children at the time.
[6:24] They wanted their children. We don't know about them. So wait on the Lord. God has a way of changing the seasons to favor people. Yeah. The times can change without your permission.
[6:39] The times, most of the time when God is with you, the times change in an unprecedented manner. You don't realize. By the time you realize, things are starting to change. Things are happening. And when they start happening, sometimes they can happen very fast.
[6:53] They can happen very fast. Listen, your time is coming. Stop fretting. Stop fretting. Stop fretting. Because the more you fret, the more you calm down for God to help you and guide you.
[7:07] It's like when you want to breastfeed or even feeding bottle a baby. And they are crying. You have to get them to settle down. Settle down. He said, be still. And no.
[7:18] Calm down. I feel like preaching this morning. Calm down. Calm down. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. In Isaiah chapter 49, verse 1, he said that he called you from your mother's womb.
[7:34] Kardashian. Before he, he says that, listen, oh, the Lord has called me from my mother's womb. From the bowels of my mother has he made mention of your name.
[7:47] Once you are in your mother's womb, he has mentioned your name. Don't worry about the things that are happening. Your name is already registered in the program of God. I see God helping you.
[7:58] I see God turning the situation around. I see things turning around very quickly in your favor. I see it turning around in your favor. I see things turning around in your favor.
[8:09] I see it turning around in your favor. Very quickly. Very quickly. So shall it be. In the name of Jesus. It shall happen.
[8:21] It shall happen. It shall happen. And you will say with Simeon that my eyes have seen the salvation of the Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[8:35] You will say with Simeon. Now I can rest in peace. For my eyes have seen the salvation of the Lord. My eyes. What you have waited for for so long. The days coming when you say this is like a dream.
[8:48] It is like a dream. In Psalm 126 it says, When the Lord turned again in captivity. The captivity of Zion. The Bible says that. It says we were like them that dreamed.
[9:00] We were just like, is this real? So is this real? I never thought this day would happen. I never thought this day would come. I stand here to announce to you. The way today has come.
[9:11] That day of your celebration. That day of your victory. That day of your breakthrough. That day of your laughter. That day is coming. That day is coming. That day is coming.
[9:23] Your day is coming. Your day is coming. In the name of Jesus. Don't worry about what is going on.
[9:37] No. Don't worry about what is going on. Be worried about your connection to God. If your connection to God is getting weak. Then what is going on will go with you.
[9:47] But if your connection to God is strong. In spite of what is happening. There is a day of laughter coming. There is a day of testimony coming.
[10:00] Wait on the Lord. Please be seated. So. I just had to enter into a season of prophecy. Because somebody.
[10:11] Sometimes. It looks like. God has forgotten about you. Yeah. It does. Look like that. And other times.
[10:22] It also. Looks very evident. That God has remembered you. Yeah. Carice. God has remembered us. Yeah. God has not forgotten about us.
[10:35] And our building needs. God has remembered us. Yeah. As a church. God has remembered us. Yeah. In London. In London.
[10:46] In London. The earth is the Lord. And the fullness of the Lord. The earth is the Lord. Nowhere belongs to some people. I will say he gives to people as he wills.
[10:58] He has determined. I think in Acts chapter 17. But God has determined the boundaries. Verse 26. And he has made from one blood. Every nation of men to dwell on the face of the earth.
[11:12] And has determined their pre-appointed loges. Times and boundaries of their dwelling. You're timing. So by the time.
[11:24] The boundary you are having. Some of you are living in homes that some people used to live in. But now you bought it to your house. I'm not talking about newly built. But you know what I'm talking about.
[11:34] Yeah. I've come to this hall for a big conference. Years ago. I was sitting in the back. Wow. Wow. Now is our time to be here.
[11:47] Do you want to meet somebody else's time? Now it's time for my Prince Charles to be King Charles. We never know anything like somebody else. Apart from mom.
[11:59] But times. And boundaries. Time has. He has determined it. He has determined the boundaries. And the times of your children. Don't fret.
[12:11] Don't fret. Don't fret. Your day is coming for laughter. All right. Let me go back and finish this. So my friend was talking about. Now there's this Christian sisters.
[12:23] Once I want to marry you. You say. Oh. I'm praying. I'm praying. For a year. For a whole man. Two months. Said. Oh. I. I. I want to know the will of God. Then my friend one day said.
[12:33] Oh. This I'm praying. I want to know that. They should stop that. Don't you know you like him? You like him? Yes. You don't like him. Just go ahead and make your mind. And pray. I want to know the will of God. Just to hide.
[12:46] Most people will say. I want to know the will of God. Especially when it comes to. Romantic relationships. They are hiding. Yeah. Most times. Because you should have been praying before even the person shows up.
[13:00] But just in case you didn't pray. When he shows up. It doesn't take too long. That those kind of prayers. It doesn't take too long for God to answer. Alright.
[13:12] So. When we talk about. Because I mentioned the baby will. Something's a baby will. It's not. It's not. One Bible talks about the will of God. In Matthew chapter 6 verse 10.
[13:23] Matthew chapter 7 verse 21. Matthew chapter 12 verse 50. Ephesians chapter 1 verse 5 verse 9 verse 11. All those ones. We can. Romans chapter 12 verse 2.
[13:35] Ephesians chapter 5 verse 17. Hebrews chapter 13 verse 21. We can see the will of God at play. When talking about the will of God. Let's start by looking at Matthew chapter 6 verse 10.
[13:46] When he taught us to pray. Listen to how he said. He said. And your will be done on earth. In the heart of the prayer. That will. What's this will he's talking about? That will be done.
[13:57] That will be done. That will. Matthew chapter 7 verse 21 says that. It's not all those who say. Lord, Lord. But those who do. The will. The will.
[14:08] They came to Jesus. They said. Your mother and your brethren are waiting for you. In Matthew chapter 12 verse 50. He said. Who are my mother and brother? They are those who do the will of God. Have you noticed how important the will of God is?
[14:20] To the value of a Christian. In the sight of God. The will of God. No wonder he says that. Epaphras have been praying that you will know the will of God. The will of God.
[14:30] It's so important. In Romans chapter 12. You remember what's in Romans chapter 12? Verse 2. It says that. Be not conformed to this. By being transformed. By the reading of your mind. That you will prove.
[14:41] What is the good. And acceptable. And perfect. Will of God. It's always pointing to. The will of God. What is this will of God we are talking about? Is it that God.
[14:52] Does God will for me to be living. Living in New York. Or I should be living in Moscow. What is the will of God? No. Those things are important for a Christian to know.
[15:02] But when we talk about the will of God. Please. This will. What we are talking about here. Is a bigger and a weightier matter. Than just personal. Thing. What's the bigger one?
[15:14] Ephesians chapter 1 verse 5. Tells us. That. Shall we all read it out from the screen. If you don't mind. Let's go. Unto adoption. Of children.
[15:26] By Jesus. To himself. According to the good pleasure of his will. He has predestined us. Unto adoption. And this adoption.
[15:38] So you are not originally a child of God. We are adopted children of God. We are originally not in the family. You are not born in the family. But.
[15:49] Can you imagine. He had predestined. Before you were actually born. Even though you are going to be born. In a different family. He has predestined. That we.
[16:00] Will be born. And will be adopted. As children. How? By Christ Jesus. To himself. How? According to the good pleasure of his will.
[16:11] So you see the will of God. The will of God. Has a lot to. The plan of God. On earth. His program. What he's trying to achieve. What he has programmed to do on earth.
[16:23] So long as his eternal economy is concerned. That is the primary will of God. Has to do with salvation. And the church. And the move of God.
[16:34] And his economy on the earth. So that. How does this play out. Existentially in your life. As you are going to work. You are not ignorant about.
[16:45] The bigger picture of God. As we are in church. As I'm preaching. I don't just focus on. Oh. People are showing up in church. Plenty. Many people have turned up.
[16:56] Church is doing well. No. No. No. I have to be increasing in the will of God. What is God up to? So long as his plan. His redemptive plan. Or eternal plan.
[17:07] For United Kingdom. For London. For our church. For our generation. I have to think generationally. As a pastor. I have to think not about my personal benefits.
[17:19] First. The will of God. But it's natural for us to think about our personal benefits first. It's human. It's natural. So that is. I am praying for you. That this prayer will begin to move you in a certain realm.
[17:33] That you increase in the knowledge of God's will. He says that we have been adopted into his family. According to his good pleasure. Verse 9. Ephesians chapter 1 verse 9.
[17:44] And then we look at verse 11. And then we go to chapter 5 verse 17. Look at verse 9. It says that. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will. According to his good pleasure.
[17:55] Which he has purposed in himself. There are things that God has purposed in himself. He has programmed in himself. He has set an objective within himself.
[18:05] And he says that. All the things he's been doing. Is according to the mystery of his will. The will of God. Is paramount. To the move of God.
[18:18] Every move of God. Is based on the will of God. And I want to talk about the will of God. As I said. Not just. So that someone will feel blessed. So that someone will be happy.
[18:29] Those things. Are just basic. And it's necessary. But that's not God's main objective. Look at verse 11. Ephesians. Chapter 1.
[18:40] Verse 11. In whom. Also we have obtained. An inheritance. Wow. This scripture blesses me so much. In whom also we have obtained. An inheritance.
[18:51] Being predestinated. According to the purpose. Of him who works. All things. After the counsel. Of his own will. The will of God. No wonder Jesus said.
[19:02] When you pray. Say. Your will be done. Jesus said. It's not all those who say. Lord. Lord. But those who do. The will of my father. He says that. Those who are my. My real.
[19:13] Brothers. And sisters. Are those who do. The will of my father. In Ephesians. Chapter 5. Verse 17. Look at this. He said. Wherefore. Don't be unwise. But understand.
[19:24] What is the will. Of the Lord. So. When you are Christian. The will of God. Which is. The plan. Of God. Or what God is up to. In our times.
[19:36] Why did God give you that job? Actually. Why did God even give you that. Wife? As I'm growing. I'm beginning to appreciate. More and more.
[19:46] Why God. Allowed me to have. Pastor. Who has my wife. No. It's not. It's not just because. Of my personal. Carnal desires.
[19:56] It's not just. It's not just. So sometimes. God will not fulfill. Like Elizabeth. Elizabeth in the Bible. She wanted to have children. But God didn't mind her. Because the will of God was more important than. Her fulfillment of her joy.
[20:09] So God suspended. Her. Having a child. Because God has reserved that womb. For his own self. For himself. So. When we.
[20:20] See. If you do not. Understand the will of God. In your work with God. Sometimes you think. God. Why. Why is this happening to me? Why has everybody left me behind? Oh God. I'm not.
[20:30] No. Because. Sometimes. When God really has an agenda. With your life. Don't think you will just benefit. Or you. It's just about. Jacob.
[20:42] Wanted. Rachel. But God. Hey. Not Rachel. Because. The measure. Is not going to come through. The line of Rachel. He's not going to come through.
[20:52] The line. You prefer Rachel. But see. I will. I will allow. Father in law. To cheat you. And he's cheating you. Who will end up fulfilling my purpose. Because. The Messiah. Is not supposed to come through Rachel.
[21:03] It's supposed to come through Leah. The Messiah. That's the. I've chosen the. But you. Your kind of desires. Because this girl is so nice. That's why you want to marry her. I'll give her to you. Or you can go for her.
[21:14] But not at my expense. Because Joseph. The blessing that came from. On your life. Is so that. I can use you for the coming of the Messiah. It's not so that. You'll be embellished.
[21:25] And people will see. See how. See what the Lord has done. He blessed my. No. No. No. No. No. He has an assignment. For you. So you don't think that. You'll get the blessing. And go free. Many people.
[21:36] God has used mightily. In our. In their generation. In our generation. Go and see the. Sacrifices. They have to make. The sacrifice. Basic things. That others enjoy. They may not be able to get.
[21:46] To enjoy. Because. And one day. I said. Maybe. All these locations. We have been coming. Because I believe. Anytime we have a worship service there. Something is deposited there.
[21:58] Something is deposited there. It's in the interest of. Ghost. Eternal. Pebbles and plants. Because some of us. Potentially. Maybe. If he gives you what you want.
[22:09] It will. It will affect your intensity. Your passion. Your drive. Your passion. Maybe. Because of the assignment. He has for you. He has to hold on. He has to hold on.
[22:21] Because the will of God. So Paul said. I'm praying for you. Verse 9. I have found God there. But let me. He said. He said. I'm praying for you. Put it on Colossians 1.9. He said. We did not cease to pray.
[22:34] We called this cause. Since the day we hear. Did not cease to pray for you. And to desire that. You will be filled. With the knowledge of his will. In all wisdom.
[22:45] And spiritual understanding. When you have spiritual understanding. You are filled with the knowledge. So in spite of what you are going through. As you are walking with God. You know. That there is a bigger picture in this. You are looking at this.
[22:57] From a panoramic view. A best eye view. Not an ant eye view. Of what is happening. That's why the will of God. Pastor prayed.
[23:08] For the people. To grow. In the will of God. To grow. In the will of God. To grow. So when you are going through difficult times. If you. If you are.
[23:19] Abrasive. At least. To a certain dimension. In the will of God. You know. It's going to turn out for your good. Amen. And. The greatest blessing. Is when you are walking.
[23:30] In the assignment of your life. When you walk in the assignment of your life. It's the greatest blessing. Everything begins to fall in place. What looks like a delay. Becomes your greatest blessing.
[23:40] Because you walk to God. What looks like. Listen. Your child may not get admission. Into a certain school. Never fret. When you are walking with God. Examination. Examination results.
[23:53] Does not determine destinies. Peace. Especially. At a certain level. At a certain level. So.
[24:04] I am not saying. We should be reckless. Any responsible. But naturally. Some things will break your heart. Why is this my child? Are you alone? Every time. I've done this.
[24:14] I've done this. I've done this. And. Sometimes. Especially. When you are in a community. Where. Other children are also. You can see. They are doing. They are only your own. But you might not know.
[24:28] You are handling a John the Baptist. You might not know. So. Look past. Your current. Or your incumbent. Setback. What looks like a setback.
[24:38] Your incumbent situation. Look past it. And grow. In the knowledge of God's will. By the time you realize. You can tell that. God is actually working something. Bigger than I thought.
[24:49] Bigger than I thought. Bigger than I thought. It does. Watch this. It does no matter. What. Worse. Has happened to you. Some of it. Is your own fault. Things you have done.
[25:00] And to have brought. The pain on yourself. It could have been. You were. You are culpable. You shouldn't have done this. You shouldn't have gone there. Now look at what you have brought on yourself. But listen.
[25:11] When you are working with God. He has a way. Of causing. The good. The bad. And the ugly. All to work together. Hallelujah.
[25:22] I'm telling you. I'm telling you. That's. That's our end. That's why. Please. Let's be careful. When we are familiar. With people's messes. Because.
[25:33] People's mess. Will make you think. They are not qualified. Yeah. That's one of the mystery. Of the will of God. It's in the Bible.
[25:44] It's that. Ephesians chapter one. It's that. The mystery of his will. Verse. The verse nine. It's that. According. The mystery. It talks about. The mystery of it. There's this mystery. About God's will.
[25:55] You always have to pray. To be in tune. Because. You might judge things wrong. There are people. Who have been. Like I was sharing. Some people. Recently. That. You know. When you start.
[26:06] Working with God early. Those of you. Who grow in church. Start working with God. And you do it right. You're rising. And certain blessings. Don't delay. If you're going to do ministry. You can break through.
[26:17] Very easily. How about others. Who have been wild. Sometimes. They have a lot of. Negative things. To clear. It takes quite a bit. There are people.
[26:28] Whose great. Great. Grandfathers. Great. Grandfather. Father. Are all. Big. Big. Big. Men of God. And still. Having. Gone. Any half. They have always been in church.
[26:38] So you can. You can. When you are in church. It's an advantage. However. There are certain people. Whose. Even. Their messes. Like Rahab. God. Can use their mess. For.
[26:48] To accomplish his will. They. You don't have to. You don't have to have. A clean pass. For God. To use you. For his will. I'm saying something. You can't get it.
[27:00] He will. His will. Is very mysterious. He can. Add. Everything. Can you. Can you. Imagine. What I don't understand. One day. When I get to heaven. I probably might understand. How can you use Judas.
[27:13] A traitor. An ungrateful person. Like that. No one. One knows. An ungrateful person. Around them. Or a traitor. Around them. But Jesus. Kept him around. Because.
[27:24] God's will. And God's eternal plan. Was. That there must be a Judas. Around him. There must be a Judas. So thank God. For your Judas. Thank God.
[27:35] For your ex. He taught you a lesson. Which can be used. To fulfill God's will. In your life. Thank God. For your stepmother.
[27:46] Thank God. For your stepdad. Thank God. For the way your dad treated you. How he abandoned you. Thank God. When you are working with him. Because he will use. Both the good. Bad. And the ugly.
[27:57] All things work together. For good. To those who are called. By the Lord. Who love the Lord. According to his papers. The will of God. That's why everyone must pray.
[28:09] That let me grow in knowing your will. We'll grow in knowing your will. When you are going through tough times. You will be able to handle it. Why? Because there's something bigger. That is preoccupying you. The bigger picture of God.
[28:20] I see someone. Moving from glory to glory. I see someone. Moving from grace to grace. And I see someone. Moving from power to power. In the mighty name.
