When you look at your history, you qualify for God's wrath, judgement and punishment. He has enabled (qualified) us to partake in their inheritance. Once you are in Christ, you have a share in the inheritance of the saints.
[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for listening to this wholesome word by David Entry. The words you catch will change your world. May your story change from this message. Be blessed.
[0:15] Colossians chapter 1 from verse 9 reading all the way to verse 15. For this cause we also since the day we heard it do not cease to pray for you and to desire that he might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
[0:35] That he might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Stranded with all might according to his glorious power unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness.
[0:51] Giving thanks unto the Father who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Who has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.
[1:08] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.
[1:19] Creature. Here ends the reading of God's word. Father, what we don't know, teach us. Who we are not, make us. Where we are not, take us.
[1:31] To the glory of your name. In Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Well, our last session, last Sunday, we spoke about and dunamu.
[1:44] And dunamu. Oh, dunamu. Or the title, we just used the other one, D, die, to make it easier for people. Dynamu. Dynamu is not anti-dina.
[1:58] Dynamu. Dynamu is dynamite. Dynamic. So, strengthened. And we saw that the apostles said that after we heard about your faith and your love and your hope, as you've learned from Epaphras, we also are just like that, you see.
[2:24] What really, let me teach you this. Anytime you are reading particularly the New Testament and come across phrases like, we also. Likewise. Likewise. Even more. How much more.
[2:35] You know. Those things are very, very important. Those phrases. If you can give attention to those phrases or words like, likewise. In like manner.
[2:48] Therefore. That's what leads you to understand what is being said. So, it's important. I said, for we also. It gives. It's a key to open up what is in the mind.
[3:00] What is inspiring. What is being said. And how to understand what's about to be said within the context. If I want of it. Can I digress and talk about it? One of it just comes to mind is Romans.
[3:12] Romans has a lot of those things. Because Romans is like, it's a book of legalities. Book of legalities and analogies.
[3:24] So, it says that, if God be for us. Who can be against us. If he who did not spare his only son.
[3:37] But gave him. Ha, ha. This is that thing. It's coming. That phrase. How much more. It's a very deep phrase. How much more.
[3:49] Verse 26 talks about. Likewise. The spirit himself. So, you have to understand what he's been saying. And he said. In the same way. The Holy Spirit himself. Likewise.
[4:00] The spirit himself. Himself. Helps us in our weaknesses. But. Where I was going. Which led me to come. Because I mentioned Romans. Romans chapter 5.
[4:11] Verse. Verse. I think verse 10 or so. Verse 10. Yeah. Verse 10. A lot of it in verse 10. Verse 10. For. Watch it. It says. For if when we were enemies. We were reconciled.
[4:21] To go through the death of his son. You see that. You see that. You see that phrase. Much more. Someone say much more. Much more. Think about it. It said.
[4:32] You were enemies. You were reconciled. Now. If you understand what it means. For enemies to be reconciled. If I was someone who is an enemy of God. To be reconciled to God. It's a big thing.
[4:42] And it said that. If. When we were enemy. We were reconciled. Then much more. Now that we are sons. Much more.
[4:53] So. There are a lot of them in Romans. Just that. Believers. Many believers don't study their Bibles. Some read. But not study. Yeah.
[5:04] They read their Bibles. They don't study. I mean. You. No one has told me about you. But you know I'm talking to you. We have abdicated. Abdicated. The studies of the Bible.
[5:16] To preachers. And unfortunately. Nowadays. Especially in our. Climate. Modern day climates. In church. Many. Many. Preachers. Are not teaching.
[5:29] Many. Teachers. Are not. Really studying. And. It's. Is. I'm being careful. With my wife now. But. Yesterday. I had a camp.
[5:39] At. Chatham. I just. I was teaching. On following. I just. Took some of the. Parts. Of the things. That Bishop. Dag. Is reaching. On the art. Of following. And I just. Use some.
[5:50] Points. Because the points. Are there already. Sometimes. Why am I developing. It's good. But. Sometimes. It's easy. To just get it. But I'm talking about. So when. Most of the time.
[6:00] When we want to preach. As pastors. We just. Consult the books. And then get the points. Most of the time. Because the seniors. Have already. Done. In. It's it. But.
[6:11] Much of the books. Are. Are. Devotionals. Yeah. Much of the books. Are. Devotionals. They are not really. Theological. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But now.
[6:21] When you want to. Deep dive. Into the scriptures. To really. Teach. What the scriptures. Are saying. Precept upon precept. Line upon line. You can't afford.
[6:32] Just to outsource that. Yeah. You have to open your eyes. And get the other books. And then read. And discover things. And write things. And systematically. Writing things.
[6:42] And that is why. Many believers. Now. We also don't study. Because many. Church leaders. Are not actually. Studying. Studying. The text.
[6:54] So sometimes. The text is not. Living. In us. Studying the text. And believers. Are not studying the text. The Hebrew and Christians. They went back.
[7:04] To search. The scripture. Now. There are so many books. So we focus more. On reading books. Than studying scriptures. It's true. It's true. It reaches that.
[7:14] You need books. You need it. We need books. Please don't get me wrong. We need books. We need to use the books. Because. It's a hard way. Understand this. Except someone teaches me. So you need the books.
[7:26] But the books. Are not the final stuff. Even Bible commentaries. Are not final. Yeah. You need to use yourself. Search true scriptures. Search true scriptures.
[7:37] Search true scriptures. Search true scriptures. Every believer. I believe. This is my personal conviction. And I believe it. That every believer. Is supposed to be mighty in scriptures. Yeah.
[7:48] Right. Every believer. Is supposed to be growing. In the knowledge of God. Through his word. And becoming mighty in scriptures. I'm not talking about mighty in quotations.
[7:58] Quotations doesn't mean you are. You understand scripture. You are growing. And it's a lifetime. It's a lifetime process. Yeah. You are growing in the word.
[8:08] And studying the word. And believers meet. And they are discussing. Do you know why? So look at what I saw the other time. And then they read it. And they are saying. Wow. I never saw it like that. Thank you for sharing it.
[8:19] And then you also bring your own. I mean. Believers. Believers. It's true. Wow. And when pastors meet. There should be some aspects of Bible discussions.
[8:31] There should be pastors. There should be. There should be. Because a pastor is someone who has given himself wholly. Huh? Giving himself wholly to doctrine. He says that watch your doctrine carefully.
[8:43] So that your profiting may appear to all. He has given himself wholly to the thing. So that if you have given yourself wholly to it. And that is your motivation in life.
[8:56] When people meet you. It's not manifest. It's not business. Even when you are discussing money. For some reason. The core of you will begin to sift through. It will be coming through.
[9:08] So some of you have believers. Friends. And you go home together after church. You only discuss people's hair. Listen to this.
[9:20] The Bible doesn't accidentally even come up. By accident. It doesn't come up. When I say the Bible. I'm not talking about discussing the Bible.
[9:31] But what the scripture said. It is written. Oh I saw it. The other time when I was reading my Bible. Look at what I saw. It really got my attention. And today even. The other time pastor was preaching. He also said something like that.
[9:42] But look. I saw this thing in a very interesting way. Because when you have a desire. An affinity. A passion for God's word. When you read God's word. You see things that. You didn't see previously.
[9:54] And. Bible. Your words were found. Jeremiah chapter 15 verse 16. Your words were found. And I did eat them. Your words.
[10:04] I found them. They were found. And that means there was some searching going on. There was some searching going on. Your words were found. And I did eat them. And your words became. The joy and the rejoicing of my heart.
[10:16] That means. Your words were found. That means. That means that. That means that. That means that. That means that. That means that. That means that.
[10:27] You just can't be quiet about it. Yes. If you have found it. You can't be quiet about it. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 13 verse 45 and 46.
[10:40] He said the kingdom of heaven. Is like a man. The kingdom of heaven. Is like a merchant. Say merchant. Merchant. If you don't know. I submit to you that you are a merchant. Wow.
[10:51] Merchant is someone who is trading. Seeking stuff. He's doing stuff. You are busy engaging in something. Yes. A merchant. In life. We are all merchants. Hmm. That's why you go to school.
[11:03] The reason why I study. Is because you want to have good grace. Right. So you can get a good. It's a merchant. You are pursuing something. You are actively pursuing something. And transacting things in life. The reason why you are befriending that person.
[11:14] Is because you know that they are connected. And maybe in future. When you want to do business. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. He said the kingdom of heaven. Is as a merchant. Seeking.
[11:25] Beautiful. Beautiful. Pears. Wow. Seeking something. There's something I'm looking for. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. That's what I'm looking for. Oh. When he had found one.
[11:37] One. This one is big one. One of great price. Went and sold all that he had to come and provide. You are looking for something.
[11:48] And if you are in the kingdom, you will always be looking for something godly. Something. And when he said, your words were found. And I did eat them.
[12:00] I did eat them. And they became, your words became. Your word became. This is very interesting. First one, I said, your words were found. And I did, your word.
[12:11] And the word was unto me. Joy unto you. When you found it, really, the word becomes joy to you. Sometimes the way, the reason why I, it's like, my mannerism.
[12:27] How did you learn in Bible school? Sometimes the excitement. Crowd has not been my main trigger of excitement. Those of you who have had close meetings with me, you will know.
[12:40] But this is not different. Whether it's 20,000. It's good. I'm not saying crowd, it's good. But really, what if we are three? And I begin to talk about this same scripture.
[12:51] I can't, I just can't sit down. Sometimes I'm driving. And the one sitting near me, I'm just quoting. I'm driving. Because the word is the joy. When I come to church, it's not the praise and worship that kicks me.
[13:02] It's good. But when I start preaching, the word, the word, my delight, by his delight, his delight is in the word of the Lord. Yes, Lord.
[13:12] His delight is in the word of the Lord. And in his word, does he meditate? Day and night. Study the scriptures. Study the scriptures till you become like Apollos.
[13:24] In Acts chapter 18, verse 24, 25. He was mighty in scriptures. Mighty. To be an effective Christian, it means that to be a Christian who is growing in the word.
[13:39] If you are not growing in the word, but you are growing in fasting. You are growing in prayer, but not in the word. What kind of prayer are you praying there? What kind of prayer? You are growing in evangelism, but not growing in the word.
[13:52] I guarantee you, you have been preaching your own word, not God's word. Well, how did I get to this? Much more. So, as we spoke last time, he said, therefore, we also, since that day, we heard of it.
[14:17] Do not cease to pray for you. Come on. Your faith, your love, and your demonstration of your hope has caused us to start praying for you.
[14:30] Because when those things are in place, you need to go next level. So, we pray for you that, and ask that you will be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that he may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.
[14:55] Strengthened. Someone say strengthened. Strengthened. Say strengthened. Strengthened. Say it louder. Strengthened. Strengthened with might, according to his glorious power.
[15:07] For what? For all patience. Because this walk with God requires patience and long-suffering with joy. Listen. When you are going through, you are walking with God, and you are going through stuff.
[15:19] Life is life. Whether you walk with God or you don't walk with God, you will go through stuff. So, it's better you walk with God and go through it. Go through it with God. Yeah. For thou art with me, I will fear no evil.
[15:32] Why? Because God is with me. Joseph was kept in prison, but God was with him. So, whether you do God or you don't do God, life means you will do problems.
[15:47] I mean, that's the definition of life. The older you grow, the more problems you encounter. Yeah. Babies usually don't have problems.
[15:57] No. The reason why they don't have problems is that there's no problem existing. Because a child might be sick, but he doesn't even know he has a problem. Yeah. Yeah. The more aware you become of yourself, the more you realize that, ha!
[16:09] Ha! Ha! Ha! Really? Is this what this whole thing life is about? I know young ladies who in their 20s, some nice guys and stuff showed interest, but no, no, no, no, no, no. And so they turn 30 and they realize that the other lady who said yes to that guy is doing so well.
[16:24] He's married and settled. So, so, so suddenly, or even young men, when you are in your early 20s, especially late teens and early 20s, you say, oh, this guy, I don't like this girl.
[16:42] This guy is not nice. This is nice. It's later when you get to your 30s and 40s, you're, oh, that girl. Is that tired? Is that girl? What? What? That is why the older you get, the more you actually want to advise people who are behind because they don't know.
[17:05] They haven't really understood the dynamics of life. But as you grow, so life is full of problems, like problems will come. And it's better to go through your problems with God.
[17:17] But watch this. If you're a Christian and you're going through problems, sometimes things can hit you, you can be down. But you can't be permanently down. You need this and do not move.
[17:32] So you'll be strengthened to go through everything with patience, long suffering, with joy. With joy. That is why if you start walking with Christ early, you don't age early.
[17:48] Yes, yes, yes. Yeah. You don't age quickly. Yes, yes, yes. Sometimes you will be in your 60s and still look like you are mid-40s.
[17:59] Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yes. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. I've always said this and I still believe it, that even your skin texture, yeah, for the ladies, even your skin texture.
[18:15] If you have been walking, if you have been walking with God for a while, if you have been walking with God for a while and let's say your skin is like this, that means, and you are not really pleased with the way, or maybe you have skin condition, that means, if you have not been walking with God, your skin would have been like alligator or orangutas.
[18:44] Me, me. So, but what I'm trying to say is that there's something about being in God that affords you internal joy.
[18:57] Yes. Okay. Okay. Internal joy. Yes. You can be in the midst, in the middle of turmoil, and still there is this peace that God alone gives. Yes.
[19:08] Jesus said, I'm living, but my inheritance I'm giving you as I go. My peace I live with you. That's it. Not as the, John 14, not as the world gives.
[19:19] What? Praise. He said, peace I give to you. My peace, peace I live with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give you.
[19:31] Let not your heart be troubled. Neither let it be afraid. He said, I leave my peace with you. I leave my peace with you. Some people left their shoes with you. Others left their car with you.
[19:44] Others left their house for you. Jesus said, my peace, I live with you. He didn't take it away. He said, I live with you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. That is why in spite of what you go through, you can still afford to have joy.
[19:56] Yes. You can still afford to have joy in your inner man. You can still afford to, and Holy Spirit strengthens you. You receive strength.
[20:07] So he said, I'm praying that you receive strength. You receive strength unto all patience and long suffering with joy. You are going through something, but one thing you never lack is joy.
[20:18] You don't lack it. Why? And do no more. It's at work. Shout hallelujah. Hallelujah. First, these things don't easily happen. They are the portion or the allotment of the believer.
[20:34] And so he said, I'm praying for you for this to happen. Strengthen with mind. And eventually, or invariably, when you are strengthening with mind, and you walk onto long suffering and patience with joy, invariably, your life now begins to flow in praise to God.
[20:53] Thanksgiving. So then the next verse says that giving thanks. We are giving thanks to the Father. To the Father. That's a Trinitarian word.
[21:05] Anytime you see God, it's okay. In a new term, when you see the Father, it's a Trinitarian word. It's Trinity. It's talking about the Trinity. Giving, giving thanks to the Father.
[21:17] who has qualified us to take part in something. What? What? You actually qualified to be part of it?
[21:32] Qualified? Qualified? I think when you're a visitor in our country, United Kingdom, and they grant you to come in, I think you are no recourse.
[21:45] Qualified? Qualified? Qualified? Yeah, you are not qualified to come in, to be taken. Yeah. You are not qualified to. You know, if you come to United Kingdom, and you live somewhere else, and you visit, and you fall ill, they will take you to hospital.
[22:01] They will start treating you. They will treat you. But when you are coming around, you see somebody, you know, the nurse, there's a certain hospital staff that will bring you a bill, and they take particulars, and they give you your bill.
[22:13] Why am I paying? But my cousin who lives here didn't pay. My friend, you are not a partaker of NHS. Yeah. Yeah.
[22:25] You are not a partaker of NHS. Benefits. But that your cousin you are talking about, he's qualified. He has been made qualified.
[22:35] Yeah. Yeah. Your cousin has been living here, and eventually has been qualified to partake of the NHS. He has an NHS number. So now, Jesus Christ, that's very interesting, is that the Father, once we are in Christ, the Father qualifies us.
[22:59] Say, I'm qualified. That's why we can pray for you and believe God for your healing. Yeah. I'm qualified. Thank you. That's why we can believe God for deliverance for you, or supernatural turnaround for you.
[23:10] We can stand with you. Yeah. We can believe God for a testimony in your life. Because there's a qualification working on your behalf. You are qualified. He has called, King James said, he has made us meet.
[23:24] Yesterday, I was telling you, I would have known that you have become beef. He's made us able, qualified us, suitable, which has made us meet to be partaker.
[23:39] Meris, the Greek word. Meris. To be meris. Meris. Meris of the Kleros. That's the inheritance, the Greek word.
[23:50] Meris of the Kleros. Wow. Now, in Joshua chapter 14, verse 1, it talks about, these are the areas which the children of Israel, what?
[24:02] Inheritance. Everyone say, inherited. Inheritance. They inherited in the land of Canaan. They inherited. So, they were not there previously. But when they got to the place, okay, you are taking this place.
[24:17] This belongs to you. So, they inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eliezer the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed as an inheritance to them.
[24:32] They were not originally possessors of it. But when God brought them in, they inherited physical land. And it was distributed to them.
[24:42] We are a type of Israel. Or, better still, Israel is a type of the church. And when we are also in Christ now, there is an inheritance that is allotted to us.
[24:57] It's your allotment. It's your portion in Christ. And God the Father qualifies us for that allotment.
[25:08] And so, when they got there, they got physical land. But our allotment is spiritual stuff. Which, some of which will manifest in physical opportunities.
[25:21] But our inheritance is in Christ. Actually, Christ is our portion. But when you have Christ, you are complete. Hallelujah!
[25:35] So, it says that, giving thanks to the Father who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints. Do you remember in Acts chapter 20 verse 32, it talks about how I commend you to God and to the word of his grace.
[25:53] Which is able to build you up and give you what? An inheritance. An inheritance. An allotment. Your portion.
[26:05] It's like being, some things, parts are being given. Those days, sometimes, the actual clear, clear rose. The Greek idea behind it is when a lot is cast, so they cast lots and then if he falls, you know, like when you are playing, is he monopoly.
[26:25] Oh! You know, so, it's full of allotments. Yeah. Okay, then this becomes your portion. This becomes your portion.
[26:35] That's like the actual understanding behind the word clear rose. Wow. Wow. Mayfay. You buy Mayfay. Oxford Street. Yeah.
[26:45] Based on the casting of the die. Yeah. And God himself has done it and qualified us so that the way the die is cast determines your qualification. Wow. And now, God himself, when you are in God, the Father himself, when you are in Christ, the Heavenly Father himself has qualified you.
[27:03] Listen, you're qualified for something already. I'm telling you, if you are here, you've been qualified. You've been qualified. You've been qualified. Lift up your right hand and say, I have been qualified. I've been qualified.
[27:14] Yeah, you're qualified. Is it your marriage? You're qualified. Don't worry. Ah. See, sometimes, this is what I like about God. He will do something and he will spite your enemy.
[27:26] Yeah. Satan has your records, your distasteful records. He has, because he inspired most of it. And he has recorded it against you and he's worked very hard on it.
[27:39] Yes. It's worked very hard to have that distasteful records of your bad past. Yeah. That should disqualify you from a lot of things.
[27:49] Yeah. And now you are born again, but some of it are still valid. Yeah. Very, very, very legit. And he's holding it. That's what I was saying. He's the accuser of the brethren.
[28:00] Yes. He goes before God. Satan appears before God for your information, okay? Yeah. Revelations. He appears before God and accuses the accuser of the brethren. Who accuses them before our God?
[28:12] Day and night. Day and night. Day and night. He's accusing you. He's accusing. That's why you need an intercessor on the right hand of God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There also must be, but the intercessor is on the right hand.
[28:27] That's it. Nothing gets done by God without him. The one who is lobbying for you is the one who gives the final authority about whatever should be done.
[28:37] Yes. Wow. And so Satan can raise a case and appeal to the justice of God if you are just. This one, you must work against them.
[28:49] Then Jesus, after Satan has done everything, we have an advocate. We have an advocate. First John chapter 2, verse 1. First John chapter 2, verse 1. He said, and if anyone sins, my little dear, this is a reason to you so that you know.
[29:03] If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father. Jesus Christ, the righteous one. Thank you, Allah. Satan, the dirty one, is accusing you. But Jesus Christ, the righteous one, the righteous one is your advocate.
[29:19] I don't know who I am talking to, but I want you to know that you have an advocate and that is why he's there to enforce your qualified allotment. Amen.
[29:30] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. We have an advocate. Amen. We have an advocate. Amen. Yeah, you went wrong. But the good news is Satan is not using it against you.
[29:41] He's appealing to the justice of God. And our advocate is also not doing it outside the law. He's also using the same law to prove to God that I have paid for that already.
[29:53] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. And then Satan, after accusing you, then will see you. You are not meant to have it. You are not meant to have it.
[30:04] And God is about to pass judgment. And Satan is standing here and he's shaking documents. I got a record. God, you can't stand. You can't do it for him.
[30:14] And all these guys believe in God for is this. And before the need arose, Satan knows that he can't get it. He can't get it because as you are coming, Satan is bringing your records.
[30:27] You're disqualifying records. He's bringing it. He's bringing it. He knows you don't deserve it. There's every legitimate reason to indicate you don't deserve it. But the attorney is also, he's the one who finally distributes.
[30:41] But the attorney is the one who paid any price for, in advance, for anything you have done. So Satan is convinced that you won't get it. Yes. By the time you realize, God said, I passed the judgment.
[30:54] You have done everything already so you know what you do. And then, by the time you realize, take it, put it in your armpit and then start walking in front of the devil and then Satan has been spited.
[31:07] It's like God has spited the devil. He thought you couldn't have it. But you are qualified. You are qualified for that inheritance.
[31:18] Hallelujah! Somebody is qualified for the inheritance. Somebody is qualified. Somebody is qualified.
[31:32] And you who knew, you yourself knew that this sin, I don't deserve it. That is why, that's why, this thing I'm about to say is very powerful. That's why a good preaching is also supposed to help people to know their sins.
[31:47] Yes. Can you explain it? Oh, no problem. I certainly, surely will. A good preaching. You people can be saved unless they are sinners.
[32:00] Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Salvation is only for sinners. Oh, yeah. Wow. Wow. Yeah. So, that gospel you are preaching, that doesn't, the only contribution anybody can make to their salvation is their sins.
[32:14] Hmm. Wow. So, you need to be a sinner to be saved. Where is your contribution of sin? Now, so, a good preaching is supposed to awaken people's consciousness to their sinful state.
[32:31] Yes, yes, yes, yes. And then, when they found themselves in their sinful state, they don't come with an entitlement. Wow. They come like this. Yes. Have mercy. Have mercy.
[32:41] They just know they are supposed to be condemned, but they come just in case God will overlook the condemnation and give a different verdict. He said in, you only, many of us only are experts in John 3, 16.
[32:56] Wow. It's a very, it's good, it's good, but don't stop there. 17, it's a very powerful one too. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn.
[33:09] Can you imagine? He did not send into the world, into the world to condemn the, no. He, when he knows we were sinning and he came to see us in the middle of our sinning and yet, we know, I've been caught right at hand and I'm in trouble.
[33:24] He said, no, don't worry, I'll pay for you. I know you are doing something wrong and I'm the righteous one and I'm the police to oversee and monitor our wrongdoings. But, so, so, what, what, Jesus, you know, have you ever been caught stealing fish in the fridge?
[33:41] Many times. Yeah. Yeah. Some of you, I know you've not been caught before. And the reason why you're looking straight is that for you, you were caught with somebody.
[33:54] Yeah. Somebody in action. You were caught in action with somebody. And it's in the Bible. The woman was caught in the very act. So, that is a classic text that explains John 3, 17.
[34:11] Yes. That situation, verse 4 of John 8, she was caught in the act. She was caught in the act and they brought someone who has been red-handed, caught red-handed.
[34:22] Jesus passed the verdict. He said, you don't understand. I didn't, I know everybody's sinning. Just that some, some of them will come public, others will remain private. But I, and I'm aware, we are, God and I, we are aware of everything.
[34:35] We know what is going on. So, I didn't, this thing you are talking about, I knew it before they started. I knew, I knew it. Oh, I feel like preaching. Jesus said, I knew it before they started.
[34:49] So, what you are telling me is not new. So, in fact, can I take you further? Jesus said, can I take you further? Just in case you don't know, I am also aware of your own that doesn't come private. Let me throw this challenge.
[35:01] Anyone who doesn't have any sins, whether private or public, let them start the stoning process. None could start. Then Jesus said, women, where are your accusers?
[35:12] Where are you? She said, they are gone. No one. He said, no one was able to condemn you. He said, no one. He said, therefore, me too, I don't condemn you. Neither. God did not send his son.
[35:24] Hey, hey, hey, hey. God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world. Wow. But it's good to know you're a sinner.
[35:36] That's where it starts. That's where it starts. You're a sinner, but that's why he came. The son of man did not come to save the righteous. Mark chapter 2, verse 17, but to save the sinners or call them to repentance.
[35:54] He did not come to condemn. That says, that has been reserved by God for condemnation. But it came ahead of that day. It came ahead of that day so that whoever can acknowledge their sins, he wants you to know you have been caught.
[36:13] That's why the good preaching must help you to know you have been caught. Anytime you know you are caught, it's one of the humbling experiences in life. Have you ever been caught?
[36:24] Yes. Yeah. Some of you, your biggest breakthrough in God is that you were caught. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I know you've not got it yet. Yes.
[36:35] Your biggest blessing in God is that you were caught. Yes, yes. And it humbled you Yes. to ask for mercy. Mercy, Lord.
[36:46] Yes. Yes. Mercy, Lord. Because God just wants us not to come and give in. Yeah. Come and take mercy. Come and ask mercy. Come and ask for mercy.
[36:58] And it gives you access into inheritance. It's only mercy that qualifies anyone. Mercy is the only qualifying factor when it comes to God.
[37:10] Mercy. Mercy is the only qualifying agent that qualifies you. Because, so then, if you want to be qualified, it's good to know you are, you have sins.
[37:23] When you have sins, it's so humble, you are caught. It humbles you, you don't have a choice but to ask. And sometimes, when you're asking for mercy, you can't even lift up your eyes. You are just, it's like you are not sure.
[37:36] Will it work? Will it work? And you are so broken. Blessed are the poor in spirit. For this is the kingdom.
[37:50] Poor in spirit. God wants us to come. You have been in church so long, that's why you have become so pompous. The worrying bit is when people are in church and sinning, gossiping, fornicating, working in pride, lying, stealing, doing all kinds of things and still feel okay.
[38:09] Whoa. And they are busy discussing other people's problems. You are far from mercy. Far, far, far from mercy. You see, when you are caught, you don't have time with what has happened to others.
[38:24] You don't have time about it. You really, you are thinking about God, just have mercy on me. Sometimes you just, you find it easier to let someone, to forgive others. You find it so easy to forgive others because I've been caught.
[38:39] I've been caught. You were caught with meat. He said, hey, your father's meat.
[38:50] You are eating. Is that what you have done? Mom, I'll wash the dishes. I'll, I'll, I'll clean all the flour, I'll mop everywhere.
[39:04] That's why, the reason why you can't join the department is because you are cool. You are cool. You are having, you have a problem with everybody because you are cool. I pray you get caught. Amen.
[39:16] Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Okay, I'm preaching you to be caught by God privately. Ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha. Ha, ha. Ha, ha. Ha, ha. Ha, ha. Because your enemies won't handle it lightly if they catch you.
[39:30] Ha, ha. Ha, ha. Ha, ha. God is so good, sometimes he just shields you from your enemies. Ha, ha. Ha, ha. Because if they catch you, they catch you. Ha, ha. Ha, ha. To be headline news.
[39:40] Ha, ha. Ha, ha. That's why, because of the goodness of God, certain things about you will never be found out by some people. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Yes. Yes. Just go back to mercy and ask God and ask for mercy and ask for mercy and when you are asking for mercy, be very quick to let me release others.
[39:57] Ha, ha. Release others because God, please have mercy on me. Please. Release. And when you hear about others, then you say, Ha, ha. Ha. Then you remember your... No, no, no, no. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay.
[40:08] It's okay. No comment. No comment. No comment. No comment. No comment. No comment. No comment. He has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the life.
[40:24] in the life. Wow. Look at the verse, the next verse. You see, he has delivered us. Give me a King James, please.
[40:35] He who has delivered us from the power of God. Did you notice he just mentioned light? Yeah. The verse 12 again. Light. The saints in light.
[40:50] The saints in light. In scripture, there are five things that Bible depicts as lights. Number one, God is light.
[41:04] So, in James chapter 1, verse 17, it talks about how he's the father of lights. Okay? He's the father of lights. So, God himself, he is the ultimate light.
[41:18] light. And because of that, God is light. The Bible speaks about, look at 1 Timothy chapter 6, verse 16. I like it. He lives in an unapproachable light.
[41:31] Can you imagine? Who alone has immortality dwelling in unapproachable light who no man has seen or can see to whom the honor and everlasting power.
[41:44] Amen. Amen. He dwells in unapproachable light. Psalm 104, verse 2, it talks about how he's, look at Psalm 104, verse 2.
[41:56] He canvests himself with light as with a garment. The way you would take morning clothes and put, God uses light. Does it surprise you why in Mark chapter 9, verse 3, and Matthew chapter 17, verse 2, on the transfiguration mount, Bible says, his clothes became exceedingly white.
[42:18] She was shining because God is light. God is light. I like the fact that he lives in an unapproachable light.
[42:33] You can't go there. You can't go there. The light is stronger than the sun. Yes, in Acts chapter 26, Paul said, at noonday. At noonday is when the light is strongest.
[42:45] The sun, sunlight. He said, at noonday, I saw a light. Can you imagine? Oh, Kim, at midday, along the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun.
[42:57] So, if no human being can get closer to the sun, how much more God? Unapproachable. He dwells in unapproachable light, and he wraps himself with light.
[43:10] He covers himself with light. Someone shout hallelujah. He covers himself with light. So, God, when you study the scriptures, you come across things like God is spirit.
[43:24] In John chapter 4, verse 24, God is spirit. You come across in 1 John chapter 4, verse 8, and verse 16, God is love. So, God is spirit.
[43:35] God is love. God is light. These are not metaphors. He actually is. He actually is. So, when you say God is love, it's not like analogy.
[43:46] It's not a metaphoric statement. It's actually God. Actually, that is his essence. His nature is love. His nature is light.
[43:57] His nature is spirit. God is light. Jesus said, as long as I'm in this world, I'm the light of the world. Come on. What are you talking about?
[44:09] In John chapter 8, verse 12, Jesus said and spoke to them, I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness.
[44:19] I'm the light of the world. In John chapter 1, I'll be running out now. In John chapter 1, verse 4, Bible says that Jesus, in him is life. and the life is the light of man.
[44:34] The light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. In 1 John chapter 1, verse 5, 1 John chapter 1, verse 5, this then is the message which we have heard of him and declare unto you that God is light.
[44:55] God is light and in him is no darkness at all. God is light. Let's all say that together. God is light.
[45:06] Say it louder, please. God is light. God is light. Yeah. Thank you. He is light and he lives in unapproachable and he wraps himself with light like garments.
[45:23] Makata shata. No wonder he saw at midday lights from heaven. They are natural lights and they are spiritual lights. When we talk about natural lights, Genesis chapter 1, verse 2, and God said, and there was.
[45:42] Verse 4 to 5, we are reading 4 to 5, and God saw the light that it was good and God divided the light from the darkness. Verse 5, God called the light the, and the darkness he called night.
[45:55] So the evening and the morning were the first day. This is the natural light. Look at verse 14. This is the natural light. Genesis chapter 1, verse 14. Then God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and seasons and days and years.
[46:16] We are going to verse 18. And let them be for lights in the firmaments of the heavens and give light on earth, on the earth. And it was so. And God made two great lights, the greater lights to rule the day and the lesser lights to rule the night.
[46:35] And he made the stars also. Verse 17, God set them in the firmaments of the heavens to give light on the earth. Now, this is talking about natural light. Natural light.
[46:46] Verse 18, natural light and to rule over the day and over the night and to divide the light from the darkness and God saw that it was good. This is talking about natural light. It was created already.
[46:58] But this light we are talking about is not the natural light like the sun. When you say God is light, please don't reduce him to the sun. We are not talking about some God.
[47:10] Oh, you pantheists. Pantheists, someone who believes people believe that God is in this, God is in the cow, God is in the elephant, God is in the moon, God is in the river, God is in the pantheism, God is in natural created things.
[47:25] So, God, we are not talking about some God. We are talking about God whose nature, 1 John 1, verse 5, his nature, he is light.
[47:38] So, just not to elongate matters, one, God is light. Number two, Christ, as we read earlier on, John chapter 8, verse 12, John chapter 9, verse 5, John chapter 12, verse 35, 36, 46, it's all there.
[47:56] Jesus said, as long as I am in the world, I am the light of the, look at John chapter 9, verse 5, as long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
[48:08] This is what Jesus said. Jesus said, I am, I am, I am just, if I'm in the world, as long as I'm here, I'm the light. As long as I'm here, I'm the light.
[48:19] So, Jesus is the light of the world. So, when we talk, the Bible talks about light, God is light. Jesus Christ, who is God when he came on, he said, I am the light, as long as I'm here, the light.
[48:32] In fact, you remember John chapter 3, verse 19, and verse 20, I like this scripture so much. This is the condemnation, that light has come into the world. And men love darkness rather than light.
[48:42] Why? Because they are, that's why sometimes it's not like Christianity is nonsense. Because being highly educated doesn't give you any exceptional spiritual sense.
[48:54] Because if you are very sensible, you won't be doing some of the things you are doing in spite of your higher education. You won't be going somewhere for a whole tall man, a small lady be buffing you for powers.
[49:07] How can you imagine that? And you are very educated. Why is it that you are educated and you are practicing things that if people see it's so shameful?
[49:22] You know what you are doing is so shameful. But you are practicing it because it's helping with your powers. So what I'm trying to say is that being a Christian, practicing Christianity is not a sign of less intelligence.
[49:36] Not on the other, not practicing Christianity is neither also a sign of higher intelligence. Sometimes they make it look like, how can I believe in these things? You are stupid. But there are a lot of other, even higher stupid things that scientifically cannot be proven.
[49:49] But you believe it. In spite of your education, there are things that you are believing that is very preposterous. So then, when we are in Christ, we are in the light.
[50:04] We, Jesus said that darkness, a light has come, but because their work is darkness, men don't like the light. He's the light of the world. And then, so number one, when you talk, Bible talks about light, three, five.
[50:18] Number one is what? Number two? Number three? Number three? It's actually six, not five. Number three. Number three, number three is, I think I'll quote the scripture for you to, let's see if, your comprehension.
[50:34] Psalm 119, verse 105. Let's not read the alarm from the screen. People are reading like you are very hungry.
[50:45] Let's read the alarm. Let's go. What's the light here? Psalm 119, verse 130. 130. 119, verse 130.
[50:57] Let's read the alarm. Let's go. Sorry. I'm sorry. Let's go. The word of God is actually God himself.
[51:09] God himself. So when you go to God's word, you have gone to light. You know what I like? I like this so much. That scripture is so powerful. It says that, for God, 2 Corinthians chapter 4, verse 6, for God who commanded the light to shine in darkness.
[51:24] Wow. He commanded light to shine out of darkness. Has shone in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God. Through the word. That's the knowledge.
[51:36] The light. The word enters and brings light. Suddenly, ah, I see. Ah, I see why I've been having problems in my marriage now.
[51:47] Ah. See, that's why you really need a good preacher who will preach the light. Yeah. Yeah. The anointing. Yeah. Yesterday, I was sharing with them how the Lord, the spirit of the Lord is upon me.
[52:02] Yeah. Right. Jesus said in John chapter, Luke chapter 4, verse 18, for he has anointed me to do what? To preach. Oh, to the poor. Yeah. Blessed are the poor.
[52:12] You see the poor. To preach the gospel. And to do what? To heal the brokenhearted. You've been through a lot. You've been through a lot in life. In the hands of different guys or different ladies.
[52:25] Ah. Or different human beings and different systems. You've been through. When you lost your, your only closest one sibling, it shattered the entire family.
[52:36] Mm-hmm. And you haven't been the same since then. Mm-hmm. You broke. There are people in church. You are broken. Don't leave church quickly. The anointing is to heal broken. Aye, aye, aye.
[52:47] Okay. The anointing. Stay with the anointing. The anointing heals broken hearts. I know you've been through a lot and you are going through a lot. Don't be quick to be offended out of church because that's where the anointing is.
[53:00] And anointing, it takes anointing to heal the broken heart. It takes the anointing. It takes the anointing. It takes the anointing to heal your broken heart. To heal the broken heart. To heal that broken heart.
[53:11] There are a lot of people, the way they even dress, you can tell this is a broken person. Yeah. He's crying for attention. The way they throw tantrums. The way they jump in and out of relationships.
[53:23] Don't let us condemn them. That's a broken person. It's a broken person. They have a major broken heart inside. You won't see it, but she's not okay. He's not okay. But let's allow them to stay in church.
[53:35] And I'm appealing to you, come to church. Stay in church. It's not only preaching that is in church. Not only music that is in church. The main thing in church is anointing. Anointing. Anointing.
[53:46] Anointing is the spirit of God at work. That's why you need an anointed preaching, an anointed preacher, an anointed church. God is light.
[53:57] Christ is light. Let me add one and next week I'll continue that. So God is light. Christ is light. The word of God is light. And then let me add this last one. John 1, 4.
[54:08] The life of Christ is light. The life of Christ is light. Next week I'll add the two. And I'll pick it from there. How we have inheritance in light.
[54:21] Learn how to stay in church. Just so. Oh, there's enough light in church. Yes. You'll recover. Yes, yes, yes. What you have been through, you will recover. Amen. You'll recover.
[54:32] Stop beating yourself. I regret, I regret. We all have regrets. Yes. Just that others own a bigger and stuff like that. But still, the anointing is able to take care of all. Amen. We have been qualified to partake of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
[54:53] To partake of the inheritance of the saints in the light. This is all God who did it. That's why we can never stop singing praise and worship. Yeah, yeah. Did you receive something?
