[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another word-filled message by David Entry. Preaching is the means by which God manifests His word and nourishes our spirits. May the life of God enter into you and you as you listen to this message. Be blessed.
[0:16] Psalm 100, verse 1, opens up with, make a joyful noise. Three words, important words there.
[0:36] Four. The first most important word is Lord. He is the object of our excitement.
[0:50] Not just what the pastor is saying, but actually what the pastor is saying bears witness with my spirit. So it makes the baby in my womb live for joy.
[1:04] So number one most important word there is the Lord. Number two, three words there. Now the last three are make.
[1:18] It's not God who is going to do this for you. Make. You got to make it. Make it. Make some sound again. Stop.
[1:30] Make a sound again. So you see, now the Bible says that instead of saying instrument to make it, now you make. You make.
[1:43] So. Two things about make. Number one, it's an instruction. It's a command.
[1:53] It's a charge. It's a charge. It's a make. Make. Make. Make. So number one, it's an instruction. Number two about make.
[2:05] It's a choice. You got to. So he said, make it. He said, you can choose to make it. People are attempting to worship and not make it.
[2:17] I want to worship. You know what? It's a give the Lord a shout. Today I'm not in the mood. Yeah. No one can force you. Because it's a choice. But the most important.
[2:29] One of the key words there that I want us to go to is noise. But why should I make noise? What is noise? You got to find the definition of noise to know.
[2:40] You understand what it's trying to say. Noise. Noise is, it doesn't have meaning. In fact, noise can be irritating.
[2:53] Oh. How many of you know noise can be irritating? Sometimes the noisiest creatures are babies.
[3:04] Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise. Oh. They can terrorize anybody. They can terrorize that.
[3:18] This tiny thing has so much irritation and annoyance. And yet, this tiny thing is so adorable. Oh, you just want more.
[3:29] But it's just sweet. It's like my might. Sweet. But, sweet as hell. Noise.
[3:40] Noise can be irritating. So, but it usually is irritating for those who are not making it. Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise.
[3:50] Noise. So, that means, if you want to obey this command and instruction, someone who legitimately and understandably will not be happy with you.
[4:05] Noise. Noise. And sometimes we have neighbors in church. Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise. Noise.
[4:15] Noise. Noise. Noise. What I am saying is that sometimes people, neighbors think they can tell you how you should reach out to God.
[4:25] Noise. Is that all the same thing the devil, the serpent did in the garden? Noise. Noise. It is the human nature to tell you whether you are shouting loud, too loud.
[4:36] Why are you so excited? Why are you, why are you, when we are praying, take your time. You are shaking too much. Why are you sweating like that? Why, why are you, please... Even if you forgot to use your deodorant, please sweat for Jesus.
[4:55] Don't buy anybody. Be praying and sweating. Stamping and sweating. Don't buy anybody. Noise is only a problem to those who are not making it.
[5:09] So he said, make a joyful noise to the Lord.
[5:21] Now, he said one key thing about the noise. That's the fourth word. First word is the Lord.
[5:32] Second word is make. Third word is the noise. Fourth word is joyful. So, so, so you are trying to sleep.
[5:45] Come. And try and kneel down. You are trying to sleep. And then you see this little toddler. Your child is climbing on your head.
[5:59] And they are so happy what they are doing. They don't realize that. This child doesn't realize that. I want to do night. I'm tired. This child says, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy.
[6:11] I say, hey. You can't, you can't hit the child. But they are really disturbing you. But guess what? Joyfully so. If you have, if you're working all night, you haven't slept.
[6:24] It's your problem. They are having fun. Oh, is someone having fun in the Lord? Come on.
[6:38] Make a joyful noise. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. So, it says that to make a joyful noise, you don't have to be worried.
[6:55] When I saw these people, football fans, and they were there, oh. I realize we can speak in tongues anyway.
[7:09] They were behaving like mad people and one of them was holding this bottle of beer and he would drink it and then wait and then the other guy would collect it and then drink it.
[7:38] They were behaving like mad people but they were not mad. They were just football fans. Sometimes your expression of your excitement about something sometimes borders on people who don't see the point don't get you.
[7:59] So that's why you must know what you are about. You must know where you are going. You must know. In whom?
[8:11] 2 Timothy 1.12 I know in whom I have believed. I know in whom I am and I am persuaded. I am convinced.
[8:22] I know in whom I have believed. It's very important. So then, where am I leading you to?
[8:33] I want you to know if you are serving God and you are joyfully noisy. It is actually the no.
[8:43] So, the one who is serving joylessly and noiselessly something is definitely wrong.
[9:00] I know in the past, some time ago England was playing. I think the finals or recently they won Italy. And I heard that people were so much in the mood.
[9:12] But after a while the place was quiet. Quiet. Something is wrong. Something is wrong. If you claim to be on the winning side, you will be that quiet.
[9:24] If you know you are on the winning side.
[9:43] Last thing about joyful noise. When there is a difference between noise and joyful noise.
[9:54] And there is a difference between noise and noise unto the Lord. It is very important. So we are not just making empty noise.
[10:05] This is joy unto the Lord. If it is unto the Lord, then it must have the necessary essential ingredient of joy.
[10:18] If it is unto the Lord, then it must be joyful. Or full of joy. Or another way is to put joy baptized.
[10:33] Joy soaked. That noise, someone looks at you. You must have seen something. That is why you are so joyful and excited.
[10:46] So joyful noise never usually only comes from the vocal cords or the truth.
[11:00] No. It comes from there, but it is accompanied with some movement. There is some physical. Sometimes it comes with... Oh, oh.
[11:10] Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Sometimes it comes with dancing without music. Sometimes it comes with jumping.
[11:22] Sometimes it comes with shaking the movement. Because when I heard those guys doing...
[11:35] Oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh. They were not calm. Oh, oh. They were not sitting down like someone who is praying in tongues. Sometimes when you are praying in tongues on the bass, you'll be sitting down.
[11:46] Then one's... Oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh. That's a different level. Oh. These ones... This... Yeah. I like that one too much. Come on, Sha.
[11:57] Ay! Ay! Ay! Pagadabashaya! Ay! Ay! Ay! So, these guys... Ay! Ay! Ay!
[12:08] And then they are talking. And then they are fidgeting. And then another person will shout to the other person on the other side. Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay!
[12:19] Ay! Cause, when the element of excitement is in it, you cannot be calm. You cannot be quiet. When you are charged, when you are charged, when you are charged, somebody make a joyful noise, to the law!
[12:37] Lord. Shout hallelujah. It can be louder than this. Shout hallelujah. It can be louder than this. Shout hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh come on give the Lord a shout. Go wild for Jesus. Go wild for Jesus.
[13:03] Yeah God God God. Yeah tell them baby. Verse two.
[13:33] Did you see that? The definition of serve the Lord is what he has told us in the verse 1. To serve the Lord with gladness.
[13:49] Come before him. Bring a chair. Sit here. Hurry up. Hurry up. One chair.
[14:01] Come. He says that. Serve the Lord with gladness. Sit there. Face me. So that's the Lord. You are coming. He said, come before his presence with singing.
[14:13] The Lord is singing. You are coming. Hallelujah. That's what my song will be. Do you know what? As you start singing, God just does this.
[14:27] Come on. Let him come. And you are going before the Lord and singing. Hallelujah. Hey. That's what my song will be.
[14:38] Hey. That's what my song will be. Oh Lord, I sing unto you. Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry.
