[0:14] I want to share something that will help us maximize what God is doing. And I'm going to give you a few P's. P, letter P for Papa.
[0:27] The peace of sustain revival or the peace of unquenchable move of the Holy Spirit.
[0:39] In today's reading, John chapter 16, yesterday's reading was amazing. John chapter 15 about how Jesus said I am divine.
[0:52] But today's reading is John chapter 16. Let me read from my Bible. It says, verse 5, Verse 5, prove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment of sin because they believe not on me of righteousness because I go to my father and you see me no more of judgment because the prince of this world is judged I have yet many things to say unto you really but he cannot bear them now oh okay how be it when he the spirit of truth is come he will guide you unto all truth for he shall not speak of himself but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak and he will show you things to come he shall glorify me for he shall receive of mine and he shall shoot unto you here ends the reading of God's way so you see that Jesus said something very essential Christians have an advantage one of the translations I maybe a new King James verse seven in a new King James I tell you the truth is to your advantage but if you're a Christian there is something you have you always have an upper hand in advantage just that we don't access it we don't use it so why would we leave what is to our advantage and go for what can be to our disadvantage wherever it
[2:53] Christianity becomes a religion begins to lose grounds because when it comes to the realm of religion Christianity will come can compete with others because religion is based on the surface and activities and all that restrictions and human activities and human systems but Christianity is not based on religion or based on human activity is based on the move of the spirit so when the Holy Spirit is giving back seats and other things take from seats the move of God begins to die so wherever there's Christianity has dominated you watch it over many years when they successfully move the spirit out other religions come and compete and the religions seem more powerful the other religions seem more powerful and the godless leaders of Christianity begin to propound things that don't benefit Christianity they begin to share the message because when you are not full of the spirits the message itself is annoying to you the preacher the message of Christianity is offensive to the of canal mind by nature by default the whole message of
[4:06] Christianity is offensive you don't have to be offensive just saying Jesus Christ died for our sins it irritates a fallen heart so when we begin to deviate from the sound doctrine and the Holy Spirit is not working with us we find other things better to try to appeal to the fallen minds and so it takes the Holy Spirit to have Christianity Jesus said it is to your advantage believer no unbeliever no unbeliever no one who is not filled with the Holy Spirit should be able to compete with you and beat you in any field of endeavor Stephen in Acts chapter 6 verse 11 Bible says that they could not resist the wisdom through which he speak this time he was doing miracles but when he came to deliberation it was a miracle he was reasoning with them his level of reasoning was superseded their level of reason why because there was the Holy Ghost upon him it's to your advantage that I go because he said when I go I will send the comforter so the advantage is not just him going the advantage is when the spirit comes he said and when he the spirit of truth is come he will convict the world of sin he will convict the world of sin and he will convict the world of sin because they believe not me you see it's the Holy Spirit that makes people believe in Jesus it's not good preaching it's not good preaching so you don't need to be theologically astute to be able to speak about Jesus all you need to be able to speak about Jesus is to be born again and to know him you know him to a minimal level to a genuine level where you he has your heart you are genuine for him the Holy Spirit can use you to talk to anybody so what we need as a church as a body of Christ in a place like United Kingdom is not new systems it's not new systems is the ancient ways the ancient paths how they did it in
[6:25] Britain which used to be a pagan territory few people full of the Holy Ghost turn it upside down and made it a Christian nation what we need I know some of you want a marriage there's nothing wrong with wanting a marriage because it's good there's nothing wrong with wanting or believing God for a miracle a testimony a job healing those things are good you need them but there's something that supersedes all that because you can have a husband a wife and still not advantaged you can have the best job and still not advantaged because there are other aspects of your life that are suffering that are satanic siege but when the Holy Ghost comes when the spirit of truth comes it doesn't matter your state you are always advantaged you are always privileged you are always in a better state it doesn't matter where you are where you are been coming from once the Holy Spirit comes upon your life instead it's to your expedient it's your advantage it's expedient for you
[7:32] I see someone benefiting from me that's what we need one of the reasons why we have gathered here this fasting is a different fasting because this year is a year of revival and this month is a month of greater awakening so the fasting is year towards Holy Ghost just fall afresh upon us nothing blesses a nation like a group of people whether two or three or hundred or thousand God died to call on the Holy Spirit to fall upon them it benefits the nation more than anything else so what we need is the Holy Spirit and we are crying out one of the things I found out from scripture one of the things I found out when you ask God he cannot say no if you're a Christian is when you ask for the Holy Spirit no prayer for the Holy Ghost ever goes unanswered no prayer for the Holy Spirit ever goes unanswered that's why get ready
[8:36] God is about to make history with your life the Lord's hand will come upon you so now we have been praying for 14 days we prayed for 85 days from the beginning of the year and we took a a brief break and we came back for the past 14 days praying every day and fasting as we draw the curtain to that prayer it doesn't mean our quest our hunger our thirst for the Holy Spirit has ended because on the day of pentacles they were all together they've been waiting for a while for 10 days after Jesus left they waited and they were praying they were unified and they were praying they were unified and they were studying the scriptures and they gave themselves to apostolic submission and they were together in one accord praying suddenly on the day of pentacles bible says that a sound came from heaven oh my goodness a sound came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting and clothing tongues as of fire sat on each of them and verse 4 says they were all filled with the Holy so none of them left without being filled with the Holy Spirit and then when the Holy Spirit came something also came criticism started coming from the day the Holy Ghost came people outside started talking against them from the very day the Holy Ghost came that's what doesn't make sense when Jesus said i'll build my church
[9:58] Matthew chapter 16 verse 18 upon this rock i'll build my church and the gates of hell as soon as he spoke about the church he said hell as soon as in revelation chapter 12 he said i saw a woman who was pregnant with a son and there was this dragon old serpent dragon was ready to catch the baby when the baby was born as soon as soon as soon as soon as the woman epitomized the church stood anytime you see a woman in the bible it's done it's reflecting they are it is a corporate woman the church the church is a corporate woman so if the church the revelation chapter 12 of the woman the church Ephesians chapter 5 husband love your wife ask guys that the woman there is the church talking about it's a universal bride it's the church that there's a particular woman in the bible you see eve is there jesus is when he resurrected the church is that woman ephesians chapter 5 is the woman talking about the woman in second corinthians chapter 11 he said as the serpent be called eve lest you also be deceived by the cunning serpent the woman in revelation chapter 12 that woman who was pregnant was the church pregnant before pregnant with the strong ones like us we are we listen in united kingdom the church is bigger than this just that there are aspects of the church that are no overcoming there are aspects of the church that are sleeping there are parts of the church and usually the strong part of the church jesus said he who overcomes he who overcomes he was writing to the church of ephesus the church of smina the church of peggabos the church of sadis the church of philadelphia the church of laodicia he was writing to these churches and yet he says that to the church and then he says at the end he who overcomes he who overcomes so verse 7 chapter 2 verse 7 is he who overcomes see he the has here let him hear he who overcomes and then when you go to the verse 12 he who overcomes he kept saying he who overcomes verse 19 who overcomes verse 18 19 verse 20 28 he who overcomes chapter 3 he who overcomes everything he says to the church he talks about them people who overcome so it's not the entire church that goes into apostasy or that will not be rattle there will be there will be the overcoming sins the strong aspect of the church that will be raptured now that strong aspect of the church was born is part of so the church is the the woman who gave birth to this overcoming sins and those are the sins the devil is looking for so our gathering here which is not meant for is just looking for miracle or money or something but looking for the holy spirit it gets the attention of the devil more than anything he said i'll build my church and the gates of hell hell has never been a threat to the church so once the church becomes strong and militant and marching on based on the orders of the eternal one satan takes keen interest and he'll use all kinds of systems why would someone cast out devil and be arrested no i'm not talking about england i'm talking about the bible if it's here that may be different but in the bible where will someone cast out devil in the bible and the person has been arrested in the bible is there he has been arrested in chapter 16. arrested for casting out devils and beaten with stripes too so that they were so wounded that they had to help treat their wounds why what have they done wrong it's not them is the power behind the scenes there is a power behind the scenes that knows those who belong to the lord who are taking marching based on what the lord is saying is someone receiving something so now that there's the point here once we have prayed when you ask for the holy ghost according to luke chapter 11 verse 13 there's no way you will ask for the spirit and god the father will not give you the holy spirit
[14:00] so when we pray holy spirit fall upon us chances are that he has been released upon us and some of you i know you know your life has changed you know you've caught something you've caught fire fire but now what do we do to sustain or make this move unstoppable what do we do to keep it going what do we do in the face of opposition i want to give you a few points number one first p is prayer listen when we go down in prayers we are going down when we go down in prayer we are going down you can't go up in prayer and move down in life i was in the spirit on the lost day prayer moves you into the realm where the holy ghost can work with you oh there's nothing watch this there's nothing as beautiful as corporate prayer when the church gathers and we are praying together watch this why didn't the holy ghost come when one of them was praying and they all had to be together in one place with one accord it was necessary because there's something about coming together satan can stand it when christians gather together that's why he tried to use the lockdown to weaken the church oh yes but he rather strengthen the strong part of the church prayer because of my time let me mention them quickly number one p to sustain the move of god or for an unquenchable move of the spirit first is what first is what two passion passion i was i was teaching the other day on the day of pentacles verse three of acts chapter two clothing tongues as of fire signifying fire stands for passion god can use people who are not passionate about him to a certain dimension what is dwarfing your passion is dwarfing your opportunities in god oh yes he said there's one coming after me he'll baptize you with the holy ghost and fire matthew chapter three he'll baptize you with the holy ghost and with fire for his winnowing fan is in his hand he'll burn the chaff with unquenchable fire hallelujah so on the day of pentacles fire fire fire signifies passion i'm on fire when you say an animal is on heat fire fire fire fire fire fire fire fire so the scriptures say that on the day of
[17:35] Pentecost. It sat on them and people thought, those outside thought they were drunk.
[17:49] Because in Romans chapter 12 verse 11, it says it says that don't be slothful. Be not slothful in business.
[18:01] Don't be slothful when it comes to things that God has assigned you to do. Don't be lackadaisical. Don't be nonchalant. Don't be passive.
[18:14] Don't be cavalier about it. But it says that be fervent in spirits. They were put in prison and they were singing in prison.
[18:28] It's passion. Acts chapter 16 verse 25. At midnight, Paul and Salah sang praises. They were beaten wrongfully and put in prison when they were Roman citizens.
[18:41] But at midnight, they sang praises. The passion, nothing could stifle the passion. Bible said they were scattered and those who scattered preached everywhere they went.
[18:51] Can you imagine? They were displaced from their homes, from their jobs, their businesses, their families, but yet they were preaching everywhere they went. They were preaching everywhere.
[19:04] in Acts chapter 11 from verse 20, 21, 22, it said they were, some went and they were preaching now to Greeks. Greeks. They preached to Greeks.
[19:17] Cyrene. They said some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which when they came to Antioch, spoke unto the Christians, preaching the Lord Jesus. And many, look at the next verse, there was refeper, many turned to the Lord, and the hand of the Lord was with them, and great number believed and turned unto the Lord.
[19:37] You can't do it passionlessly. Passion. And then the church in Jerusalem heard that something is happening somewhere.
[19:49] So the saints, Barnabas, who, when he came and saw the grace, you can see, sometimes you can see grace. You can, you can, people watching us, this is grace.
[19:59] You are, you are seeing, you are witnessing the workings of grace. A young man come from Africa to come and do this. No, it's grace.
[20:11] No man can take credit for what is happening. No man, God is doing his own thing. Just that he looks for whoever is available. Is anyone here available?
[20:27] Unstoppable, unquenchable move of the Holy Spirit. Number one is prayer. Number two is passion. Number three, what do we have to do to sustain the move of the Holy Spirit without getting it quenched?
[20:42] Because the opposition is strong. In United Kingdom, in Europe, in the West, the opposition to the gospel is strong. But if the first century church, who didn't have any infrastructure, they didn't have any protection.
[20:58] They didn't, they were going to leadership. They were, they didn't have political will and political vote. They didn't have anything. In the first century, it couldn't be stopped. How much more, some of us.
[21:08] We have a vote. We have systems, some levels of systems. We have systems that we can use to work for us. And we are more than them.
[21:23] So, so we should be able to take Europe by storm. we don't, we don't, we, God said, I won't give it to you at once.
[21:36] Little by little, little by little. Little by, we are spreading everywhere. Spreading everywhere. So, prayer, prayer, passion, and the third point, we need to be able to sustain this Holy Ghost fire is Christ-centered or preaching of Christ.
[21:59] Because I'm giving you a P. First one is prayer, second one is passion, third one is preaching of Christ. Bible said, they went to Antioch and preached the Lord Jesus Christ. We don't preach some of the messages.
[22:14] They may not be bad in themselves, but we have to preach Christ. You can't be preaching something else expecting revival. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[22:25] We may have a lot of poor people amongst us, but to see revival is not prosperity preaching. It is not the preaching of prosperity.
[22:36] There is a way people can be financially blessed without even preaching prosperity as long as the Holy Ghost is mighty on them and moving on them. Is there anything wrong with preaching prosperity?
[22:50] No, no, there's nothing wrong in preaching and anger management. I don't even know why that should be preaching church. Seven ways for anger management in church.
[23:02] Are you a Christian? So, different motivations to make you buy houses, buy cars, invest in stocks.
[23:21] Listen, I'm not against it. I'm not against it because it might also be a necessary aspect of life because the revival comes with all kinds of things. Okay.
[23:31] Preaching of Christ and Philip went down to Samaria and preached Christ. Verse 8, Acts 8, 8, and there was great joy in the city.
[23:44] When Paul and Barnabas were sent off, they were sent off and they went into their territories to preach. Bible talks about in Acts chapter 13, he explained Christ.
[23:58] He explained from brothers, brothers, if you have got anything to say, speak it on. They made a mistake in the synagogue to ask them to speak. Verse 17, that was, if you have got anything.
[24:08] And Paul began and spoke and spoke and it's the verse 27. Because you, your leaders, those in Jerusalem didn't know Christ, you killed him and fulfilled the prophecy you were reading about. Then he explained and we took it to David.
[24:21] David said, if you have served his generation and died. And the message was so powerful, Bible says that something happened in the city, but some of the Jews became jealous from verse 42. They became jealous and stared up the people against Paul.
[24:34] Bible said, the whole city came together to come and hear the word of God. And they preached powerfully. I'm talking about preaching of Christ. When the Holy Ghost is on you, your preaching will always end in one thing, Christ.
[24:49] When the Holy Ghost is really on you, every preaching that is saturated by the Holy Ghost or inspired by the Holy Ghost doesn't matter the topic. Even if it's marriage, it ends up on Christ. Check the book of Acts.
[25:01] Their preaching always was ending on Christ. That's the only thing that sustains revival. Preaching matters when it comes to revival. Or the subject of preaching, the topic we preach matters when it comes to revival.
[25:17] It matters. Football, politics, all those things must be good. Please, but for goodness sake, let's cut down entertainment and drama and music and dancing in church. Let's cut it down and get more time for preaching of Christ and the preaching.
[25:33] It might be necessary, it might be good, but please, that shouldn't take center space and squeeze preaching to get a small space. You won't see a revival when preaching is relegated to a very small portion of the service.
[25:47] Preaching must take a chunk portion of the service and that chunk portion of the preaching must be heavily Christocentric. If you want to sustain the revival, don't let us stop preaching about Christ.
[26:03] The world will not be interested, but we're also not interested in what they want. Let's preach Christ. Preach Christ. He said, preach Christ and Him crucified.
[26:15] He said, whom we preach. Colossians chapter 2. Him we preach. Him we preach. Him we preach. Hallelujah. Him we preach.
[26:27] Say, Him we preach. That's the topic of our preaching, the subject of our preaching. Him. Him we preach. He said, the Jews look for a sign.
[26:38] Greeks look for wisdom. But we preach Christ crucified. We preach Christ crucified. When I came to you, first Corinthians chapter 2, I desire not to know anything amongst you except Christ and Him crucified.
[26:54] Him we preach. Listen, I'm talking about what sustains a revival. If we stop preaching Christ, the revival is going down. Number four, perseverance in spite of opposition.
[27:09] Yeah. Some people, when they scare you, you stop. Some people, you lost your job because you were preaching and so you stop preaching. you failed your exam because of lack of balance.
[27:23] You were always evangelizing when it was time for exam. Guess what? Your failure was legitimate. You failed. But don't stop the preaching. Next time, learn from it and get a balance without stopping the preaching.
[27:36] Don't abandon what God has commissioned to you. Don't abandon it because life is hard. God thinks are tough. Perseverance is bad.
[27:47] Listen, opposition will come. Some of us, the opposition will come not from outside, from your own house. From your own house. When you preach, not everybody will listen.
[27:59] No, no, no. That's how nature is. If everybody is happy for your preaching, everybody, something is wrong. I'm telling you, something is wrong. When you are putting preaching on social media and there's no negative reaction, something is wrong.
[28:13] Something is wrong. When the church is doing well and the hand of God, the Holy Ghost is on the church and no one begins to criticize on social media, something is wrong. Let not opposition stop you.
[28:26] Check the early church. The church, opposition couldn't stop. If I went, they whipped them, they were rejoicing. Acts chapter 5, verse 39 and 40. They were rejoicing that they were counter-worthy to suffer for Jesus.
[28:39] They put them in prison. An angel come to remove them and they continue preaching. Nothing should stop us. Nothing. We have to persevere in spite of opposition.
[28:51] Number five. This point, fifth point is very important. Purposeful unity. unity. It's not emotional unity.
[29:04] So maybe, I don't get on with this guy, the way he screams and the way he used to be my, my, I don't like this lady because she took my ex away from me. She took your ex.
[29:19] Thank God she didn't take your ex. Thank God she didn't take your ex. Thank God she didn't take your ex. Thank God. Thank God. You are still ovulating.
[29:31] You have ex. Don't worry, God will give you somebody who will make use of your ex. But sometimes, I don't like him.
[29:46] I don't like, I don't like that lady because when I told her I wanted to marry her, she said no. And after that, I've not got you over it. You better get over yourself. Because we have to be one.
[29:57] We have to be united purposefully. We have to have a purpose until we are, they were all together in one accord. When there's disunity, it stops the flow of the Holy Spirit amongst us.
[30:12] That's why those who gossip, those who sow discord, those who begin to go and say, did you see what I saw him doing? And so what? There are some things there's no point talking about because it will not foster unity.
[30:26] Bible says in Ephesians chapter 4, verse 3, endeavor to keep the bond of the Spirit. Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
[30:40] So anything that will bring discord is going to affect the unity of the Spirit. It doesn't mean we are uniform. There's a difference between uniformity and unity.
[30:52] So we have to endeavor. Watch out. Don't let your attitude and your emotions affect this beautiful unity the Holy Spirit has created for the sake of his work.
[31:05] Purposeful unity. Everybody say purposeful unity. Purposeful unity. Number six, P. Protect the work. Protect the work.
[31:16] Defend the work. Defend the faith. Defend the work. Yeah, protect the work. There are things that will always be to destroy the work from inside.
[31:29] So sometimes Satan, once Satan gets one person inside who will represent these things, Satan will leave and go and sit under a coconut tree and be sipping coconut. It's not living.
[31:40] They will spoil it themselves. What are some of the things that can endanger, that can make us vulnerable? The things that can make us vulnerable.
[31:51] Let me mention this quickly to you. Number one, contentions and disunity. It makes us very vulnerable because you end up going to betray your own. Saying things that you don't have to say outside.
[32:06] You'll go and sit online and be doing a video. You don't have any job. You'll be doing a video. I'm wondering what sometimes the purpose is. Are you trying to influence people for Christ?
[32:20] Are you trying to win souls? Why don't you just get off online? Go on the streets. Go on the streets. You'll see people. Why not? Satan, those who are one, you are sitting online with a mouth that God is not inside.
[32:34] Instead of winning souls, you are ruining souls. So disunity makes us vulnerable. Worldliness makes us vulnerable.
[32:49] And we become so worldly in the church. Now our singing and our music is almost like worldly. Our dressing is almost worldly. You can't tell the difference between being in the church and being in a club.
[33:02] open plan system. Worldliness it goes with fleshly activities.
[33:15] Carnality. Wait, this one this one say I don't talk to this one. I don't talk to that. I don't get it on this one. I'm offended. All those carnal attitudes that people demonstrate they wear it nonchalantly.
[33:31] they wear it confidently. I don't talk to this one. No one can talk. Oh, come on. You are attracted to the move of God in the church.
[33:43] Subduke carnality. I know you like women. But for goodness sake, bring yourself under subjection. Wellliness.
[33:56] Wellliness. What are the things that make us vulnerable if we have to protect if we have to protect the work? The things that make us vulnerable are disunity or contentions, wellliness, and accommodation of sin.
[34:13] None of us is sinless, but we certainly have to sin less. We certainly have to sin less. If you are looking for a Bible, are you listening to me?
[34:26] Yes. So number one, as I said, disunity. Number two, worldliness. Three, accommodated sin. Number four is heresis. Wrong doctrines.
[34:38] When we begin to embrace wrong doctrines, we have disengaged the revival. Holy Spirit cares about wrong doctrine.
[34:48] And if it doesn't matter, it matters to him. You can never have the Holy Spirit moving on wrong doctrine. No! No!
[35:00] No! Because Jesus himself is the word. So we have to contend for the faith. The faith there is not just believing, but a set of truths that have been committed to us that underget everything we are doing.
[35:16] The truth about Jesus Christ, the doctrine of Christ, Bible talks about 1 Timothy 1, verse 10, it's in accordance with the truth of Christ. It's a course with the truth of what Jesus Christ has taught.
[35:30] Heresis or false teachings will vandalize any move of the Spirit any day, any time. Many things that started like revival couldn't be sustained and couldn't last because of wrong doctrines.
[35:46] Once wrong doctrines come in, the Holy Spirit pulls out. So we are very vulnerable when we start entertaining wrong doctrines. The last point that makes us vulnerable, lack of apostolic submission.
[36:02] That is how you can make the revival vulnerable and authority on your own. These are the things that can protect our revival. Apostolic submission.
[36:13] you, who do you submit to? Last point. I didn't get a P for it.
[36:24] So, point number one, prayer, point number two, passion, point number three, preaching of Christ, point number five, purposeful unity, point number five, purposeful unity, point number six, protecting the work and I show you what makes the work vulnerable and then point number seven, discipleship.
