[0:15] In Romans chapter 2, we found out that the apostle was making a case. Actually, Romans chapter 2 ended like this, that he is not a Jew. It says that he is not a Jew who is one outwardly.
[0:28] When you talk about true Jew, who is not the one outside of? Nor is circumcision anything that we have to go by. Now, circumcision there is not talking about the actual act of circumcision.
[0:43] But it's talking about the covenant inclusion of the kind of people who come from Abraham, who practice circumcision as a means into the covenant.
[0:56] All right? So, when it says circumcision there, it's actually talking about those Jews who are into it, who are into it, who are into Abraham.
[1:07] I'm the real Jew. All right. So, it says that, chapter 3, verse 1. So, if circumcision doesn't make any difference, and being a Jew outwardly doesn't make any difference, so long as our approach to God, our worship is concerned, our koinonia is concerned, the question here is then, then what advantage does the Jew have?
[1:25] That's right. Yeah. Is there any advantage in being a Jew then? Amen. So, why must God go through all this process and having the Jews for himself, only to realize that it doesn't really matter?
[1:36] Oh. It's like you've gone through so much rigor to have your PhD, only to realize that the job you are looking for, basic GCSE maths will do.
[1:47] All right. And it's your dream job. You pay 10,000 pounds only to realize that 100 pounds would have done it. Oh. Yeah.
[1:59] Yeah. Exactly. Or only to find out later that it's actually free. Yeah. Yeah. People are getting it free. You can do it online. You know?
[2:11] So, what's the point in saving all this money and doing that? What then does the advantage to be a Jew? What's the advantage? Any advantage? Then, what's the advantage of being a Jew?
[2:22] Is that what I was saying? No. Is there any value in the ceremony of circumcision? Is there any value? Yes. Yes. Is there any value? Yeah. Yeah. So, the next verse says that, yes.
[2:35] Paul says yes. Yes. There are great benefits. First of all, amongst many. First, the Jews were entrusted with the whole revelation of God.
[2:46] Wow! That's the oracle of God. Wow! The uniqueness of being a Jew is there were those who God committed before God became man on earth. Yeah.
[2:56] Nobody knew God. Yeah. Because you can't research God. That GPT will not be able to teach you God. Yeah. All right. God is not researched.
[3:09] God is revealed. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He says, the revelation of God was given to the Jews. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. God is revealed. Yeah. And He chooses who He reveals Himself to.
[3:21] Mm-hmm. Yeah. And He revealed Himself to the Jews. So, from the fall of Adam and Abraham, at the time Abraham showed up, there must be an understanding and the knowledge of God on earth.
[3:33] Mm-hmm. Even though all men have fallen and have become estranged from God, God has to still maintain the knowledge of Him across the generations so that by the time He comes, there is already a platform, some link to the knowledge of God.
[3:54] And when He shows up, He will not be too far. That's why Jesus, one, had to be Jewish. Number two, that is why there had to be a law system.
[4:05] The law is the standard of God. Mm-hmm. So, there have to be a law system, the system of law and ceremonies by which man, can interact with God. And then, number three, there must be some shadow system that will be pointing to the things that when God shows up, you can identify with the God that has been revealed in the past.
[4:26] Mm-hmm. So, Jesus Christ kept saying that the prophets spoke about me. Every Jew knew that the prophets were talking about a person coming because before God shows up, he must have actually had a motor kit going ahead.
[4:39] Mm-hmm. So, people will not miss that it's God. So, God committed His oracles to them. It makes you a bit special. One day, I discovered by Revelation that some of us here, your biggest advantage is that your mom was going to church.
[5:00] Mm-hmm. Your dad goes to church. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. from the time you were a child. Mm-hmm. At least they took you to a church environment where the Bible was read.
[5:11] Yes, yes, yes, yes. It's one of your biggest advantage you never know. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Or there is, especially, even if there, if you also have like a pastor in your family, it's a big breakthrough for that family.
[5:22] Mm-hmm. Because the oracles of God gives you an advantage, gives the family an advantage. Mm-hmm. Somebody who has been, who, to whom the oracles of God have been committed to brings the hand of God, the attention of heaven, and the benefits of God on the earth to them in a way that you might not even trace it to it.
[5:42] Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That's why, up to now, the Jews are so blessed. Why? Because the oracles of God they're handling, that's why if a church like ours can maintain and keep the word of God in our midst, we don't have to pray and fight for everything.
[5:58] Mm-hmm. The word in our midst will defend some things for us. Mm-hmm. It will provide for us. Before God created, there was darkness upon the face of the earth, and God said, all God had to do, just, just speak the word.
[6:10] Nothing's done. He said, I'm, I'm, I'm a servant like you. I'm not worthy that you should come under my, under my roof. Matthew chapter 8, verse 8. Only speak the word.
[6:21] Lord, the word. Just the word enough. The word of God does so much for you. Love it when your child is, some, there are some children in this church who all they know is always listening to my preaching, that babies who, children, some of them two years old, some of them three years old.
[6:38] Their parents are always putting their iPad or the TV, and they're watching Pastor David preaching, preaching. Some of us in our houses, there's always preaching going on, or there's always Bible playing. You don't know.
[6:49] You are accommodating the oracles of God in your house. Yeah. I'm telling you, you are hosting an aspect of God's magisterium in your house without realizing what you are doing.
[7:03] For some of us who everything in your house is so dry of God. You always have to be doing, chasing devils and witches and witches. I'm telling you.
[7:13] I'm telling you. Yeah. So, to them, they have an advantage because to them is committed the oracles of God. The next verse, verse three. For if some did not believe, would their own belief make the faithfulness of God without effect?
[7:29] Now, listen. What do Jews believe? Yeah. Some believe in just ceremonies. In fact, weren't the Jews those who killed Jesus? Even when the Gentiles said, no, let's not kill him. They said, no, we have to kill him.
[7:41] So, the fact that some would not believe, does that mean God is not true? Does that mean the oracles of God are not authentic? The fact that you hear somebody, a Christian leader, has done, a Christian leader offends you, does that mean, okay, even me, this church thing, I won't do it again, you see, you are not, you are not smart.
[8:02] Does that mean God has not exist? No. When you hear bad news about big Christian leaders, does that mean God has not exist or all this thing is fake? The fact that some did not believe, does that mean that it's fake?
[8:16] Don't let negative news about somebody who is supposed to represent God, don't let the negative news make you think that God is not true. Because in the first place, God didn't tell them to do it.
[8:27] Human beings, just like you, the way you are struggling with something. I'm talking about you. You think I don't know you are here? Your struggles are even bigger than some of those people who have done worse things.
[8:38] But the point I'm making is that, every one of us have something we are sorting out. So instead of focusing on what's happening with others, I think you do yourself great help by concentrating on how to fix your little one, which is growing to become a monster.
[8:58] Yeah. And elephants, they also start like, they start like fetus, by one egg. And I'm telling you about your problem, instead of focusing on how you can let God help you deal with this problem.
[9:12] Instead of thinking about, have you heard what has happened here? Have you heard what has happened? Tell them you are nursing your own rooms. Best friend now, he said, God forbid. No! Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true and every man be a liar.
[9:25] As it is written, that you may be justified in your words. That's talking about God. Once God says it is, it is. It doesn't matter who believes, who doesn't believe, who behaves differently, who doesn't behave differently.
[9:37] Once God says it is, you can't go wrong hanging on the word of God. You can't go wrong. Don't focus on people and personalities. Focus on the word.
[9:48] And celebrate the one who will push the word into you. Verse 5. Ah, I like the verse 5. But if our unrighteousness...
[9:59] How many of you know we have got unrighteousness? Oh, yes! Yeah. Not doing things the way we should be. We should do them. If our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness...
[10:12] Can you imagine? This seems like an oxymoron. How can your unrighteousness demonstrate God's righteousness? In other words...
[10:23] Our unrighteousness proves God right. That what he said was true. Like what I'm just saying.
[10:35] That you've got your struggles. It's already indicated in scripture. So when you look at yourself very careful... I can't struggle. You go home later and realize, oh God... Your unrighteousness has proved God right.
[10:48] Okay. If our unrighteousness demonstrates God... The righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust? Who inflicts wrath? In other words, if he's punishing for our unrighteousness.
[10:59] Because actually it looks like our righteousness is helping... It's making him look good. If God said, this one is a thief. And everybody says, no, this one cannot be a thief. He said, I can never be a thief. And later on, the person steals. He said, oh God. He said, like Jesus said to Peter, you deny me. If Peter said, me?
[11:10] How can I be? Never, never, never, never. Never, never, never, never, never. Never, never, never, never, never. And it happened. It proved Jesus right. So it's like our righteousness proved that God has always been right.
[11:35] So then if our righteousness, if what you've done was right, we do it. So then if our unrighteousness, if what Judas did led to the execution of Jesus to save us, then why must Judas be punished?
[11:49] Because he actually has worked with God. Yeah, he actually was working for God. He wasn't, Judas will not be punished for the role he played.
[12:03] He'll be punished for his intentions and rejection of Christ. So none of us will be punished for the wrong things you have done. Okay, let me rephrase it. The wrong things you have done, actually, you'll be punished for it.
[12:18] So you go ahead. You'll be punished for it. But the only thing that makes you be exempted from punishment is not the right things you do.
[12:30] But it's the Christ in whom you put your faith. When you put your faith in Jesus, Jesus absorbs, oh yes. He absorbs, he absorbs all the sins.
[12:41] So when God is ready to punish, ah, there's no sin here. He said, let's go to the next person. So that's why I said, God will punish you for your sins. But if you are in Jesus, Jesus absorbs. Ah, he's absorbed.
[12:53] And that is what this scripture is trying to teach us. Look at it. Let's quickly go to the next verse because we have a long way to go. For then, God will, okay, God is going to judge the world.
[13:04] You see, I said he'll judge you for your works. Let's go to the next verse. For if the truth of God has increased through my line to his glory, my line to his glory. It's the same thing. He said, why, why, why am I still judged as a sinner?
[13:19] The next verse says that, and why not say, let us do evil? As some people have been accusing Paul. They are accusing Paul and his team that this is the message they are preaching.
[13:30] Instagram, someone was on Instagram in the days of Paul and was saying that Paul is teaching the wrong things. Yeah, he's trying to make people believe. That, as you see, that's what they are saying.
[13:41] We are reported as slanderously reported. People who are full of the devil easily slander people like us. They say, I'm going to do a video.
[13:52] I'll speak out. It's because of demons in your life. Why don't you concentrate on your life and teach the word of God? And let people's discovery of the word make them realize who is wrong.
[14:06] He says that he's given us some apostles, prophets, evangelists, for the equipment of the sin, for the building of the body. Not exposing of fake teachers, but building of the body.
[14:16] There are all kinds of people who don't really understand what Christianity is about. And nowadays, because a lot of people don't really have much to do. They are looking for relevance. So, if they don't put up a click bait.
[14:28] So, it's important to understand that they say slanderous things about preachers easily, so as to block you from believing what they say. Paul, the other time I was reading about Jesus, they said, did we not say you have a, did we not say you are a Samaritan and you have a devil?
[14:49] They said he was a Samaritan. How? I mean, how can Jesus be a Samaritan? He said, did we not say rightly that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?
[15:00] He said Jesus has a demon. They were putting everywhere on Instagram and social media. They are doing TikTok videos about Jesus. He has a demon. I have now convinced. So, I will say, God has showed me.
[15:12] God. You know, that's why I told you. Don't take people serious who are always seeing demons. God has showed me.
[15:24] Don't believe people like that. They actually scandalize people. They defend people. They discredit people. That's not Christianity. That person, what if you are wrong?
[15:37] Oh, and they say that, no, no, I have convinced. I'm convinced. God shows me. Anyone who is so convinced about what God shows them is not correct. Let's be seated. Let them be convinced about the scripture.
[15:51] Even me, I can't say that. I'm so convinced. God has showed me. You'll be a problem. You are occupying somebody's seat. Oh. This is a church.
[16:04] It's not a club. It's a church. It's not a club. Church grows by coinonia and discipleship. It's about discipleship, not customer service.
[16:15] We are not treating you as customer because you are not. You are a family member. We reserve the right to tell you, comb your hair. Is that not what family members do?
[16:27] We reserve the right to tell you that don't hit your wife, don't beat your wife. We reserve the right to tell you that. And if we risk you being offended, so be it.
[16:40] Because you are not a customer. You are a family member. Tell somebody I'm not a customer, please. Alright, let's go to the next verse quickly. He said, what then? Are we better than they?
[16:53] Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. Now, this is very important. This is the cracks of the message.
[17:04] Do you remember how it started? Is there any advantage in being a Jew? Because if you are saying Jews and Gentiles are kind of the same, what's the point in being a Jew? And it says that because of the oracle, it gives them an advantage.
[17:17] But when it comes to reaching out to God, walking in the righteousness of God, they don't have any advantage. So that's the cracks of the message. And it says that, because we have previously said that, charged both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin.
[17:33] So whether you are Jew or you are Greek, whether you have the oracles of God or you don't have, everyone is under sin. Everyone. They are all. That word all is very important.
[17:44] All means both Jews and Greeks. Both Jews. Both those who God reserved for himself as a people need their salvation. They need their salvation. Yes. Okay.
[17:55] They need their salvation. That's why you can't say, when I was born, my parents would give birth to me in church, so I'm a Christian already. No, you still need salvation. Yes, sir. Your father can be there. I'm Bishop of Canterbury. And you still need that?
[18:06] You need salvation. Yes, sir. You can be my son, my child, and you need salvation. You could be born in our house, and we always put oil on you and receive it. You still need salvation. Yes.
[18:17] Yes. Because why? Why do you need salvation? Because we are all sin, under sin. Now look at the next verse. Verse 10 says that, as it is written, there's none right... Oh, this is where the things start getting interested.
[18:29] There's none righteous. No. No. It's serious. It is. This is not Paul who was saying. Paul is quoting scripture. That's actually said in scripture. Psalm 14, verse 1, 2, 3.
[18:41] He said, the fool has said in his heart, there ain't God anywhere. The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt. They have done abominable works.
[18:53] There is none who does good. Well, there's no God. There's no God. It's because of corruption in the heart. Look at the next verse. Verse 2 says that, the Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there is any who understands, who see God.
[19:12] Okay. That understanding there, Ephesians chapter 4, verse 17 talks about having their understanding darkened. Yes. How can you just by nature understand the ways of God?
[19:24] Yes. Yes. Anyone who is not born again, I don't care how many visions you see that come through. It doesn't matter. Yes. Yes. Is it okay to say bonkers? Yes.
[19:35] Bonkers. Bonkers. Bonkers. Nuts. Yeah, that's how I say. Nuts. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Yeah.
[19:46] Nuts. Bunkers. Crazy. Somebody says that. You know, I have this gift of seeing. The things I see. You are not born again. When I see things, when I have dreams, it comes true.
[19:57] Listen, it doesn't mean squat. It doesn't mean anything. You are not born again, and you have dreams, it comes true. It means God will use you. It doesn't mean anything. No. No.
[20:08] It doesn't mean God will use you. No. Please, that's not super spiritual, because that's what the fallen man thinks. The more you must look spiritual. You must look spiritual. I do.
[20:19] That's why some of you when you start praying, the facial expression changes. Listen. It's just, it's just my style to wear suit, as I teach God's word, but it's not a sign of spirituality.
[20:38] You can wear whatever you want with Bob Marley type of hairstyle. You can have Bob Marley type of hair dreadlocks, and it's not a sign of lack of spirituality.
[20:50] So, spiritualism, once a time ago, told me that, you know, God really shows me things. Okay. God really shows me things. And, in fact, when I dream, it usually comes to pass.
[21:04] It might be true, but it doesn't mean anything when it comes to spirituality. When it comes to true godliness, that doesn't mean anything. The measure of your godliness has got to do with, has got everything to do with how much the word of God has richly deposited in your heart, which is bearing fruits.
[21:23] Yeah. Fruits. What are the fruits? Christ-like fruits. Fruits that point people to Christ. Fruits that build the work of God. Fruits that attract people to Christ. Yeah.
[21:34] I'm not even talking about good, nice behavior. No. Because not every well behavior attracts people to Christ necessarily. Yeah. Yeah. No one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Spirit.
[21:46] Yeah. First Corinthians chapter 12. No one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Spirit. Yeah. So, for you to attract people to Christ, it takes, it's a reflection of the Spirit of our work in your life.
[21:59] Amen. Wow. Wow. Alright, let me go back to the text. This, this is nice, nice, nice, nice. Psalm 14, verse 3. Look at the verse 3.
[22:11] The verse 3 is what Paul was quoting. They have all turned aside. They have together become corrupt. There is none who does good. No.
[22:22] Not one. Now, watch this. Those, what's the meaning of this scripture? Both those who are very religious and those who are very evil.
[22:36] He said, when it comes to the righteousness of God, there's none that does good. Not one. So, that's why he brought the Jews and the Gentiles. So, the Gentiles in their paganism, the Jews in their Judaism with the law of God, they are still at the same level.
[22:55] None, not one is right. Not one. Not even one. There is none who understands. There is none who seeks after God. When people say, oh, you know, I'm searching.
[23:07] I'm trying different religions. I'm searching. It's not God you are looking for. Because by nature, we run away from God. He said, there is none that seek after God.
[23:19] There's none. So, whatever you thought you are seeking after, which makes you, it's religion that at best you will get. But Christianity, God must seek you. God must seek us.
[23:30] God must come to you. God comes to us. Hallelujah. In Christianity, God takes the first step. That's why nobody can claim glory for being born again.
[23:42] It's still there in that text. It's there. It's there that no one can take the glory. Because it never starts from you. It's not of works.
[23:53] Look at the next verse 12. They have all turned aside. Everybody. Both Jews and Jews. Both those who are, watch this. People are, ah, I like this. Please come quickly. Come. Hurry up. Use down there. That's, let's say, that's God.

[25:33] Why? From the fall, we turn our backs against God. And not only turn our backs, even when we speak our language. Look at the, the next verse. It says that, we have turned aside. No, go, go back to it. Verse 12 again.
[25:44] It says that, eh, they have together become unprofitable. There is none who does good. No, not one. Verse, verse 13. Their throats, you see. Their throats is an open tomb.
[25:55] Hey. Wow. Yeah. Our language. Our language betrays us. Yeah. When you speak, we will know the kind of person you are. Yeah. Yeah. If you want to know what is loaded in a person, keep quiet.
[26:07] Let them keep talking. Let them keep talking. But Jesus, Jesus said, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Yeah. They can fake it, but at some point, it will, it will, it will, it will, oh yeah.
[26:19] It will, it will, it will be. It says that, their throat is an open tomb with their throats. Their throat is an open tomb with their tongue, they have practiced deceit.

[27:35] The next verse. Here... Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Some of you, you know, even after born again.
[27:51] You'll have, full of cursing. There are quite a number of preachers who are making noise online, but they are full of bitterness.
[28:02] with the jealousy of somebody's breakthrough. You are fasting 40 days for poverty. Who likes poverty?
[28:15] Is there anything wrong in helping somebody come out of poverty? People will attack easily because of bitterness. It says their mouth is an open sepulcher.
[28:26] Verse 16, today when I'm reading, 16 really got my attention. Distraction and misery is in their ways. If you don't leave church and go their way, you are exposing yourself to distraction and misery.
[28:39] The path of the unjust is full of miseries. Some of you, if you had found church earlier, your life wouldn't have been filled with that kind of drama.
[28:50] Yeah, I'm talking about Christ. Because some of you found church, but you didn't find Christ. Some churches, they distract from Christ. The church that is always talking about money, money, money, is not like this of God.
[29:03] Hmm. Come on. No. It says that the way of peace have they not known. Oh, may that not be your portion. Amen. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
[29:14] The fear of God is not. There's no fear of God before their eyes. And without that direction towards God, you'll be very unruly. Amen.
[29:25] You'll go. And so none of us, those who had wild paths and those who had seemingly decent paths, none of us is good enough. Yes. All are safe. Yes.
[29:36] That's what makes our koinonia a holy koinonia. Yes. No. It's there. Let me finish it. It's there. Now, we know that the things, the things so ever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that's those who are religious, the Jews.
[29:53] They have this law and the law was telling them, don't do this. Why? Why is the law so that you, the law said don't do it. Knowing very well you will do it. Amen. You cannot not do it.
[30:03] Wow. Because we are falling. Amen. You cannot live unto the standard of God. Amen. So God said, you want to look religious, here is my standard. Know very well that you can't keep the standard.
[30:15] Rather, he gives you the standard to help you to know your level. Yes. So he says that, so that you will not boast anymore. You are kind. Amen. He gave that, he says that whatever the law says, says to those who are under the law.
[30:30] Every mouth may be stopped and all the world will be guilty before God. Because all those who don't have the law, they are already guilty. Now those who have the law, the law has come to make you even guilty.
[30:41] Yes. Wow. So there's no, that's why I said, circumcision, uncircumcision doesn't matter anymore. Really doesn't matter when it comes to standing before God as being righteous.
[30:53] Look at the verse 20, very scary statement. In the verse 20, he says that, therefore by the deeds of the law, no flesh shall be are, it will be justified in the sight of the law. Why?
[31:04] Because the law will help you rather to know how sinful you are. It is not helping you to walk before God. The law was not given for us to keep. It was given to show us how dirty we are.
[31:14] In Romans chapter 5 verse 20, it's still there. Romans 7, 7 is there. Romans 5, 13 is there. Look at this as I get right. Let's start from 5, 13.
[31:25] Yes, it says, for until the law, sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Verse 20. So, when it's, look at this, it says that, moreover, the law entered.
[31:37] Why? So that offense might increase, not offense might decrease. The law came so that people might sin more. Because if there's no law, if there's no law that says don't touch him, if I touch you, I have not done anything wrong.
[31:51] But if now they say don't touch him, and I like touching. If they say don't talk, and you like talking. If they say, then so the law came so that people become really sinful before God. And then that will press them to look for help.
[32:05] Help, because by the deeds of the law, no flesh shall be justified. Galatians chapter 2, verse 16. Galatians chapter 2, verse 16. Galatians 2, 16. Galatians 2, 16.
[32:17] Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law. But, oh my goodness. My goodness. It's not how well you have followed the law or a doing system.
[32:28] By how much faith you have put in the works of Christ. Let me finish. Let me sit down, please. It's that, verse 20. Romans chapter 3, verse 20.
[32:40] It says that, By the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified in the sight of God. For by the law is the knowledge of sin. When the law came, he had a new sin. Verse 21. Watch this. But, now, the righteous, the right coming to have a right standing with God.
[32:55] There's a certain righteousness that God has. It's now, he wants to pass it to you. But, you can't get it by the law. He said, the righteousness of God outside of the law.
[33:06] Oh, oh. So, God said, there's a way you can be righteous before me. You can have my kind of righteousness without looking for a law to obey. Because, the more you look for a law to obey, the more you are sinful.
[33:18] That's why the Jews also need salvation. Yes, sir. Amen. After the law is revealed, being witnessed, the law and the prophets say that that's the only way. Even the law is pointing to the fact that there is a righteousness that comes from God, which can only be accessed outside of the law.
[33:37] What is it? It says that, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe, for there is no difference.
[33:48] Now, do you know what that means? You, those who are religious and those who are not religious, those who are virgins and those who are wild body cunts. But, if you are not in Christ, there's no difference. There's no difference.
[34:01] I've behaved very well. I've done, so that's why you can't say, hey, I've always been a good person. Why is it that? I'm struggling in life. Please, please, please. The blessing of God on your life is not because you have behaved good.
[34:13] It's because Christ is in you. And your sins are forgiven. That's what they're saying. For all, verse 23, for all have sinned. How many? All.
[34:24] How many? All. How many? All. That's why no one should come to church and feel better than somebody. No. No. Even if you know something bad about the other person, don't think you are better than them.
[34:38] That's right. Because all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
[34:49] Thank you. Verse 24. That's it. Let me stop there. Be. Ah, justification is free.
[35:00] Listen, listen. I've said it before, but let me say it again. Justified means just as if you have never sinned. Because Christ, remember the vacuum cleaner and the drilling thing?
[35:13] Christ absorbed all your sins. So when a Christian dies, there's no punishment from God. Why? Because Christ absorbed the punishment for our sins. But if you are not in Christ, you face God and you give an account and you punish you for your works and for rejecting Christ.
[35:31] That being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus. Redemption means he shed his blood. He didn't die for himself.
[35:41] First Peter chapter 2 verse 24. First Peter chapter 3 verse 8, verse 18. It points to the fact that he died for our sins. In Titus chapter 2 verse 14, he died for our sins.
[35:56] Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. He died for our sins. So let me read the four scriptures. First Peter chapter 2 verse 24. First Peter chapter 3 verse 18.
[36:09] Galatians chapter 3 verse 13. Galatians chapter 13. And Titus chapter 2 verse 14. He died for our sins.
[36:20] He bore our sins. So that he redeemed us so that we can be free. So whether you are Jew, you are Gentile, there's no difference.
[36:31] When it comes to coming to God and standing right before God, the only thing that matters is Christ. He himself is our propitiation. Propitiation means that every anger has been satisfied and set aside.
[36:48] So the anger God has against sin because we have sinned against his holiness. We have sinned against his glory. We have sinned against his righteousness. That is why he has anger against sin.
[36:59] He says that that anger is set aside by the work of Christ. When he died on the cross, he absorbed all that anger. That's what Christianity is really about. Until you get that, you haven't gotten Christianity.
