[0:00] Hallelujah! Thank you for tuning in to this powerful message by David Entry at Karis Phase 2, our Christ-centered youth services. You can never find Christ outside of the open Word of God. May Jesus Christ reveal Himself to you as you listen.
[0:18] Please be seated. Well, are you ready for God's Word? Praise the Lord. Father, thank you so much for giving us the privilege to be here in your Word.
[0:31] As we hear your Word and your Word is taught, we pray that we will catch grace and fresh fire. Let the heavens be open upon us. Let us have unusual encounters in you. As your Word is taught, we pray that Jesus will be revealed. Father, what we don't know teach us.
[0:51] Who we are not, make us. Where we are not, take us. To the glory of your name. We pray that give us a listening ear. Give us circumcised hearts. So your Word will find a place in us. In Jesus' name. Amen.
[1:11] Ephesians chapter 2. Last week was hot. It was amazing last week. And then Ephesians chapter 2.
[1:23] I want to read from verse 14. Ephesians chapter 2.
[1:58] In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Last week I spent so much time. Last two weeks I spoke on verse 14 for two hours. And last week I was going to go on the verse 15.
[2:14] And I got caught up in verse 14 again for another two hours. He has broken the middle wall. I know you know what that means. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
[2:25] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. All you remember is dichotomy. For he himself, his therapist was broken on the middle wall of separation.
[2:40] There was a wall of separation, right, between Jews and Gentiles. So he has broken the middle wall of separation between Jews and Gentiles.
[2:52] between male and female, between young and old, between employed and unemployed, between formerly good people and formerly bad people.
[3:08] There's no discrimination. And he bunched us all together into one. Now, he has broken down the middle wall of separation.
[3:19] Look at verse 15. Having abolished in his flesh the enmity. What did he do? He abolished which enmity? He says, no, he didn't say enmity and enmity, or he didn't abolish in his flesh enmity.
[3:35] He abolished in his flesh the enmity that previously existed between the groups. So I belong to this group. I don't belong to this group.
[3:47] Because I belong to Taurus, I am not labor. Because I'm a woman, I'm not a man. Because I'm unemployed, I'm not employed.
[4:00] You know, so it's like this. So they say, okay, all those who have degrees or PhDs, all PhD holders, come forward. Some of you cannot come.
[4:13] Yeah. You can't come. Okay. Let me see by hands. All those who are in university. But where is your hand not lifted? Oh, you finished your master's?
[4:25] So you are not in uni? Really? So as soon as I said, all those who are in uni, lift your hands, I've excluded him. By virtue of that description, you have been excluded.
[4:37] By virtue, all those, all those who live outside London, lift your hand, raise your hand.
[4:49] You see, up, where is your hand not up? You don't, you live within London. So you've been excluded from that description. But when Jesus Christ died on the cross, he removed that enmity, that, that descriptions and groupings bring.
[5:08] So he says that having abolished where? In his flesh. How did he do it in his flesh? By dying on the cross. The flesh was what was crucified on the cross.
[5:20] So going to the cross means he was actually, oh, oh, he, he, one of the reasons why he went to the cross is so he can raise the church. You can never have a church without a cross.
[5:34] Why? One of the reasons is a church is group of people who are one. It's only in Christ. Only in Christ. And Christ has to pay the ultimate price for us to have a church.
[5:48] So if you attempt to come, bring segregation to church, God will not take it lightly. Because he gave his whole life to secure our oneness.
[6:00] So Bible says that he himself, for he has abolished, having abolished, having abolished in his flesh the enmity, that is the law of commandment, contained, ordinance, so as to create a church.
[6:13] He started, why did he abolish the enmity in his flesh? Because he had an agenda. And that agenda could never be fulfilled without abolishing the enmity.
[6:27] It's there, it's there, in black and white. Okay, this is not black and white, right? Blue and white. It's there, that word, after ordinance, not, see, after ordinance, comma, what's that word?
[6:40] So as. Two words, first word, so as. Okay, give us a new, let's go to New American Standard Version. New American Standard Version. Jesus said, so that, why did he abolish?
[6:54] For, by abolishing in his flesh the enmity, which is the law of commandments, contained ordinance, so that there is an agenda.
[7:06] So when he was going to the cross, sister, when Jesus was going to the cross and Peter, the devil spoke to Peter, he said, no, you can't go, no, you can't go. No, but he said, no, you can't go, you can't go.
[7:20] Jesus said, get thee behind me, Satan. Because he was trying to beat. This is a good one. Matthew chapter 16, verse 13, who do men say I am?
[7:32] When he got to Caesarea Philippi, who do men say I am? Some say you are pro-prophet, some say you are Elias, some say you are one of the prophets, and he said, but who, verse 15, but who do you say I am?
[7:43] And then verse 16, Peter said, thou of the Christ, the son of the living God. And then Peter, Jesus said, verse 17, blessed are you, someone by Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you. I tell you the truth, you are Peter, and upon this rock, I'll build, I tell you the truth, you are Peter, and upon this rock, I tell you the truth, that you are Peter, and on this rock, I'll build, I will build, I will build, my church, do you see his agenda, do you see his agenda, don't change the church to become a social entity, the church is there for building the church.
[8:17] He said, upon this rock, I'll build my church. The reason why Jesus came on earth, watch this, is not just so for sins, everybody seems to be forgiven. The reason why he came on earth, is so that he can build the church.
[8:32] That's why he went to the cross, Ephesians chapter 5, verse 26, verse 25 says, husbands, love your wives, ask Christ, oh, oh, let's not read it out loud, let's go.
[8:46] So Christ gave himself for who? What does it mean for him to give himself? He died, he died.
[8:57] He gave himself for the church, he died for the church, he wanted a church, that is why he died. Or, let's put it this way, he wanted a bride. God was looking for a wife, God was looking for a bride, so he came on earth to come and look for a bride.
[9:15] And then he died for the bride. And when he died, why did he die? I told you, because the bride must be, must be heterogeneous.
[9:26] The bride is not one person, the bride is a creation, a new creation, made up of different factions. How can you put factions together and have one organ, or organism, or one system?
[9:44] There's a lot of problem. So, Jesus had to die, so he can remove the barrier, the demarcation, the segregation, the wall of separation.
[9:57] He had to take it in his flesh himself and handle it in his, so Bible said, he himself is, no, verse 15, abolish in his flesh by death.
[10:10] So he died, what is this? He died so that first of all, he can abolish something. What did he attempt to, what did he abolish in his death? The enmity.
[10:22] Why did he have to abolish the enmity? Abolishing the enmity was the means to an end. It wasn't the end in itself, it was a means to an end.
[10:33] The end was so as to create in himself. Oh, yes. So as to create in himself. That's what he said, so as to create in himself. So as to create in himself.
[10:45] One new man from the tomb. Jews and Gentiles. Jews and Gentiles who never mix in worship.
[10:57] Jews and Gentiles who never have social mixture. You can't bring them together socially. He had to remove the enmity in his flesh.
[11:07] He had to abolish the enmity so as to create in himself. One. One new man from the tomb.
[11:19] That's, the two have come together in their peace. No problem. Why? The reason why there is peace is because he has abolished the enmity. So there can be, there can be enmity.
[11:29] If you are genuinely born again, you won't have struggle flowing with another person of whatever. Maybe in your past, it used to be on a different postcode, gang postcode, or you can even be your ex.
[11:43] When your heart is so much into Christ and the person is also genuinely in Christ, you don't even feel enmity. You don't feel, you are happy that you found Christ.
[11:54] Your excitement in Christ trumps your pain in the past when you see the person. Because the person is also in Christ. It does something to you. It's a mystery.
[12:07] You can only understand it once you are born again. If you are not born again, you will not understand and get what I'm talking about. Create in itself.
[12:17] Let's look at different translations. I want to show you something. New, not this one, but okay, since you have put this one in. He did this by ending the system of law with his commandments and regulations.
[12:30] He said, he doesn't mention the flesh, okay? He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one human. Let's go to New American Standard Version and then we'll go to English Standard Version.
[12:42] New American Standard Version, by abolishing in his flesh the enmity, which is the law of commandments contained in the ordinary, so that in himself, say in himself.
[12:55] Say it again. In himself. Say it louder. In himself. Say it for the last time. In himself. So that in himself, he might create the two into one human.
[13:09] Where is he doing it? In himself. Outside of Christ, forget it. It cannot happen. The sphere is in Christ. If any man be in Christ.
[13:22] 2 Corinthians 5, verse 17. If any man be in Christ. If any man be, so we can be in Christ. Philippians chapter 3, verse 9.
[13:37] It says that, I count them all laws. Verse 8 says, I count them as long. Verse 9, let's go to the verse 9. That I, and be found where?
[13:50] When you're looking for me, where will you find me? Tell all your old friends, your drinking friends, your smoking friends, your pornography friends, your robbery friends, your drug friends, your fraud friends, and all those people who knew you in the past, when they are looking for you, say, sorry, you find me there, me?
[14:12] Sorry, me? I'm not in Christ. If you want to find me, come and look for me in Christ. That is what it means to be born again. It means you are in Christ. Not necessarily in church, because there are people in church who are not in Christ.
[14:28] Sad, I always say this and I won't stop saying it. There are priests, and bishops, and arch bishops, and pastors who are not in Christ.
[14:40] who are not in Christ. I used to go to church 14 times a week, and no one told me to come to Christ.
[14:51] If I had died, I would have gone to hell. But I don't blame them, because all those priests were not in Christ. So they never spoke about Christ. Really, they never unveiled Christ.
[15:06] Their preaching was not about Christ. It was about a religious system. If any man be in Christ, Philippians said, that I might be found in him.
[15:21] When you are looking for me, I want to be inside him. That's where you will find me. Tell my ex, I'm in Christ. When he starts sending you messages, when she starts, she's coming to church because she's looking for you again.
[15:36] So, I mean, it's okay. I mean, people come to church. Some of you came because you were just following a friend, and they kept putting pressure. Let's go, let's go, let's go. I mean, let me see by hands. Those who came because of a friend, God, they put pressure on you.
[15:47] Yeah. How many of you came because somebody preached to you and said, come, you came? Yeah. How many of you came because you are trying to, you are interested in somebody and you found out the person is coming? So, you also came. Everybody.
[15:58] Yes. Yeah. Honest people. God bless you. God bless you. Yes. Different, different reasons. Some of you came because you're having sleepless nights and nightmares.
[16:11] And then someone told you the pastor is very powerful. You keep thinking he's a magician. I don't have silver and gold have I none. That's only one thing I have.
[16:24] It's Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. I don't even do miracles. I do Jesus and the Holy Ghost barks his word with miracles. Hallelujah.
[16:38] Oh, I didn't hear your shadows in the back of you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So, in himself, Jesus is the sphere of everything Christian.
[16:51] Jesus is the sphere, sphere. is the arena that everything Christian happens within Jesus, outside of Jesus, is not church.
[17:03] Did you hear what I'm saying? Anything that falls outside of Jesus is not church. Your mindset outside of Jesus is not church. It might be good. It might be nice.
[17:14] But it's not church. Don't deceive yourself. anything outside of Jesus is not church. He says, the only sphere, the only arena for creation is in himself.
[17:26] Wow! Let's see how the English standard version puts it. ESV. ESV says that by abolishing the law of commandments and ordinances that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two.
[17:44] So, originally there were two. But now he said, no, we don't need two. Let's bring and create. Now, when you see that word create, no translation will leave the create out.
[17:57] Some translations may not focus on, in fact, the New Living Translation didn't even mention abolish. Didn't mention abolish. New Living Translation, he did this, he did, he did this by ending the system.
[18:09] Okay, that's, by really ending it, abolishing it. By saying it's ending it. Right? But, every translation, any translation that doesn't point to the fact of create is not accurate.
[18:23] It's super inaccurate. Maybe, message may not keep create because depending on how message you choose to understand. Let's see how the message is. That's a lot.
[18:37] He created a new kind of human being. Wow. Wow. This is a lotto. Fine prints.
[18:48] I like the fine prints, small prints. Food knows that. It's hindered more than it helped. It was hindering more than helps. Sorry. Yeah, everyone will use create because it's very important.
[19:01] Then he started over. Instead of continuing with two groups of people, separated by centuries of animosity and suspicion, he created a new kind of human being.
[19:17] A fresh start for everybody. That's interesting. But the word create, why is it so important? Because God says in Genesis chapter 1, verse 26, let us make man in our own image.
[19:32] And, verse 27 says that, and then God, so God created man. Say God created man. God created man. So, and that was the sixth day he created he, male and female.
[19:44] Okay. There's no she male. There's male and female. Male, male and female created he them.
[19:58] And then, Bible says that, and the seventh day, that was the sixth day. And on the seventh day, verse, chapter 2, verse 1, God rested from all his works. So, the, that's the seven, the heavens and, and all the, were finished.
[20:14] And then, verse 2 says that, verse 2, should have known that. And on the seventh day, God ended his work, which he has done. And he rested on the seventh day. I, I explained, it wasn't because he was tired.
[20:27] So, first, first day, second day, I'll go again. Third day, fourth day, fifth day, sixth day, it's not a bit more complicated to create man.
[20:42] And he created man and woman on the sixth day. And then when he finished, like a super wrestler. Seventh day, I won't do anything.
[20:55] He rested. Chill, yeah. And then what happened? How about the eighth day? What did you do? What did you do?
[21:07] What did you do? Bible didn't talk about eighth day. Bible didn't talk about eighth day. Seventh day, he rested. So, Bible says that, look at verse 1, chapter 2, verse 1. Chapter 2, verse 1.
[21:19] Bible says that, does the heavens and the earth, and all the hosts of them, were finished. God has finished creating. But one of the translations, I think one of the places, God ended his creation.
[21:33] He's ended. Everything was ended. So, it's finished. That's why, resting there was not like tiredness, but he now gave a pause. And that pause took generations.
[21:47] Abraham came and went. God was still a person. Moses came. He went. God was still a person. The people of Israel was formed. God was still resting. And he gave them ordinance that, you have to follow me in the resting.
[22:02] So, enter my rest. On the seventh day, you have to rest. It called the Sabbath day. God kept resting. Elijah came. God was resting. Elisha came. God was resting.
[22:13] Jeremiah, Isaiah came. Jeremiah, David came and went. Samson came and went. God was, did all those miniatrions, when God was resting. Wow. Did everything.
[22:26] Then Jesus Christ was born. God was resting. He died on the cross. God was resting. He resurrected from the cross. God was resting.
[22:38] He ascended into heaven. God was resting. And then the day of Pentecost, God got up. God got up. God got up to do what?
[22:50] To create. Again. Create again. Create again. Create again. If any man be in Christ, he is.
[23:05] 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is. Oh, oh, oh. Watch this. So, there is a new creation actually. When did that take place?
[23:18] It took place when the church was. That's why Jesus, watch this. I was telling this. I didn't finish. Jesus said, upon this rock, I'll build my church. So, he came to build. And the gates of hell will not prevail against the church.
[23:30] Matthew chapter 16 verse 18. And then, Bible says from the verse 20, from then on, he began to tell them how the son of man must go to Jerusalem and be arrested, verse 21, and be arrested and be, and he will suffer many things from the elders and the disciples and be killed.
[23:48] Ha! How about the building process? It will happen after I'm killed. Why do you need to be killed before you can build? You won't be around to kill.
[23:58] No, no, no. He said, on the third day, I will rise. I will rise. I will be raised on the third day, why? Because that's when I'm going to start building. So then, why don't you leave to build? No, I have to die and remove the enmity.
[24:12] I have to die and abolish the enmity. The only time you can abolish the enmity is when I go to the cross. And when they nail me to the cross, I'm going to be, they will nail my flesh, but in my flesh, as they nail me, I'm made, Satan is actually nailing enmity to the cross, nailing himself to the cross because Satan has hijacked the flesh I feel like preaching now.
[24:33] Watch this. Satan, from the time of the fall of man, Satan took over human flesh. How do you know? How do you know? I'll show you how I knew. In Romans chapter 7, he said, I want to do good, but I can't do good.
[24:48] Why? Verse 14, look at verse 14, but in the flesh, there's some problem in my flesh. For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, souls, I'm gone, sinners, taking over me.
[25:02] Verse 15, hey, hey, verse 15, for what I'm doing, I do not understand. How many of you understand this statement? How many of you can identify with that statement?
[25:14] What I am doing, I don't understand. So, you see, that's why religion is not good for you because you are not, you are not that good. If you know you are not perfect, you are not good in yourself, don't do religion.
[25:29] religion only comes with standards. Standards, text boxes, you have to do this, you have to do this. Didn't you promise and vow, and promise that I will never do this again.
[25:40] I will never go into that boy's house house again. I will never go into that girl's house again until she's messages, I've got a free yard. I've got a free yard. Oh, goes, oi, oi, oi, I've got a big head.
[25:55] I've got a free yard. And then you didn't know what happened before you could say, Jack, the Uber driver was waiting for you. And you didn't even want to go, but you saw yourself in the Uber.
[26:06] And before you realized you were just there. And you know when you got there, you were praying, Lord, our Father who art in heaven, hello be thy name, thy kingdom come. Our Father who art in heaven, hello be thy name.
[26:16] When you got there, as soon as you saw him, oh my, my, my, my, my.
[26:33] But when you finished, when you finished, some of you, I understand the reason why you are sitting quietly. Because what I'm talking is really getting to you. Yeah, what I'm talking about, yeah.
[26:46] Because you didn't want to do it. Hello? So when you come to church, you can't even look up. When I'm coming close, you're hiding. Because you think, I don't want him to see I'm here. I know you're here.
[26:56] God is already aware. Because the things I do not want to do, that I do, what I don't want to do, yay! for I am, but what I am doing, I do not understand.
[27:11] For what I will, I will, I will to do, that I do not practice, but what I hate, that I do. Ay! Ay!
[27:22] Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! What I hate, I haven't even to understand it. What I hate. Didn't you vow, you will never argue with your sister again?
[27:33] Ay! Ay! Ay! You promise yourself, you will never drink alcohol again. Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay!
[27:43] You promise yourself, I will never gamble again. Ay! Ay! I will never do gambling again. Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! You keep doing the same thing. Ay!
[27:54] Ay! And what people don't know is, you are hurting. Ay! Ay! Ay! Because you let yourself down, and it's affecting your self-esteem. Ay! You have a front, you look like everything is together, but you know, things are falling apart.
[28:08] Ay! Ay! You are not yourself, girl. You are not yourself, boy. Ay! Ay! That's why sometimes you are quiet. Ay! Ay! Because the things you do not want to do, that is the very thing you do, and more!
[28:22] Ay! So he said, verse 16. Verse 16 says that, if then I do what I do, I will not do. To do. Give me NIV.
[28:33] It will be easier to read that one. Let's go to NIV. If I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. That was the problem then, the next verse. The law is good.
[28:45] As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but sin living in me. Look at verse 18. There is nothing good. I know that nothing good lives in me.
[28:56] That is in my sinful nature. This is why I prefer King James. Look at this. Watch this. I am showing you something. I want to say, for nothing, for I know that, that in me, that is in where?
[29:09] My flesh. Where? My flesh. My flesh. He is not talking about skin tissue. Your flesh is your nature, the human nature outside of God. So stop telling me, you don't know who I am.
[29:21] I don't want to know. This is church. You don't want to know who you are. You don't know who they think that. Those girls, the way they are talking about me, they don't want to know my truth. We don't want to know. If any man be in Christ, we don't want to know.
[29:36] We don't want to know. When I get angry, no one can contain me here. Yes. Excuse me. One lady came to me some time ago. Let me tell you this story. One lady came to me some time ago. She came to me and she said, some people are talking about me.
[29:49] Pastor, they don't know me. He said, I'm just trying to keep myself calm because I don't want to behave because I can do wild things.
[30:01] The way they are behaving. And I said, listen, listen, you are not the only one who can do things. And I said, there are things people don't have to know.
[30:13] Don't let them know. Some things about you is not honorable. Keep it private. Your anger tantrums is not honorable.
[30:25] Don't say they don't know me. We don't want to know. We don't want to know. They don't know how I like boys. Yes, but we don't want to know.
[30:37] Don't let us know. They don't know how I like girls. We don't want to know. Why would you be showing people pornography on your phone? We don't want to know.
[30:49] We thought you are honorable. So keep that status. Am I preaching? Am I preaching? Am I preaching? Am I preaching? He said, I know that in me, I know.
[31:01] It's not like you don't know. I know that in me, I know that in me, I know, you know yourself. I'm preaching to you. You know yourself. Don't pretend. I'm talking to you.
[31:12] That's why I don't want to come to you with religion, else you will fail. Religion, there's no, people like you, there's no hope for you in religion. Oh yes, all of us. There's no hope for us in religion.
[31:24] There's only hope. Christ in you, the hope of God. I don't want to know. He said, so now listen to the point I'm making. I have to end up. He said, he said, he said, I know that in me, that is in my flesh.
[31:42] Say my flesh. My flesh. Say my flesh. What is the problem of humanity? When it comes to our relationship with God, where is the problem? I can't hear you. Where is the problem?
[31:53] Where is the problem? So there is problem in the flesh. That's why Romans chapter eight, verse six says that if we walk in the flesh, you can't please God.
[32:05] Or verse, cannot mind. All right, let's go to the next verse quickly. Verse seven and eight said, you cannot please God in the flesh. When anyone, whoever, give us in James please. Whoever is in the flesh cannot please God.
[32:17] One of the places. Or in Galatians chapter six, verse five, verse 16 said, walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. So the flesh is the problem.
[32:29] The flesh is the problem. Now watch this. So Jesus Christ, Romans chapter eight, verse two. For what, for the, for the, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin.
[32:46] See now everybody. From the law of sin and death. Ah, now this is my point. Verse three. Watch verse three. Look at verse three. Verse three. Verse three says that for what, what the law could not do.
[32:58] I can't hear you. I can't hear you. I can't hear you. I can't hear you. What was the problem of the law? To feed the flesh. What was the problem of the law? To feed the flesh. I know that the things I don't want to do, I do.
[33:12] And I know that in me, that is in my flesh. There's something in my flesh. So the law cannot be fulfilled in my flesh. So every human flesh is a problem. That's right.
[33:23] Did you hear that? Yeah. Every human flesh is a problem. Every human flesh is a problem. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh.
[33:35] What happened? God did himself. How did he do it? He sent his soul. How did his son come? He also came as flesh. Okay.
[33:46] He said, are you using the flesh to stop man? He also took on flesh. Ah, the word became flesh. Ha ha. He took on flesh. He took on flesh.
[33:57] And he came in the flesh. He was so much like the flesh that you saw him and you didn't know he's God in the flesh. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. And so he needed the flesh since the children, since his brethren were flesh and blood.
[34:14] Him, he himself took part in the same. He also became flesh. Why?
[34:26] So that, oh, my God. What is this? That through death, it is the flesh that must die. So he went to the cross through death in the flesh. And what? He crossed the head of the devil. of the devil.
[34:40] If you are shouting very loud, hallelujah. Sit down for a minute. So, from this text, you can see that he destroyed the devil because he became flesh and went to the cross and destroyed the devil on the cross. But from the main text we are reading, you can see he also abolished the enmity in that flesh.
[35:11] So, when he wore the flesh, he did that to crucify the flesh. Because on the cross he was terminating the power of the flesh.
[35:24] If any man be in Christ, as soon as you come into Christ, even though you are still alive, you have taken this new nature, you have taken this new creation.
[35:37] That has, that's the only thing that has the ability to empower, overpower the flesh. He says that you are no more in Romans chapter 6 verse 14.
[35:51] sin. For you are not under, you are under grace. You are not, sin shall no longer have dominion for you. Why? The sin, sin cannot control you anymore. Why? Because once you come under grace, you come under the power of the work of the cross.
[36:06] That's how we take communion. The cross is not, it's not only forgiving our sins, it's also crushing the power of the devil. His blood washes our sins, but his cross, cross, crosses the devil.
[36:18] There are two things. Blood is for sins. Say sins. The things we do, the cross, is against sin.
[36:34] A personality, the nature of the devil in the flesh is called sin. Sin dwells, go back to that scripture. Chapter, Romans chapter 7 verse 18. Romans chapter 7 verse 18.
[36:46] For I know that in me, that is my flesh, dwelleth no good. For to will is present with me, but how to perform it, I find out. Verse 19.
[36:57] Verse 19. For the good I, the good that I will to do, I do not do, but the evil that I, I do not want, that I practice. Verse 20. Now it's coming. Now if I do, what I will not do, it's no longer I, but what?
[37:12] But what? Sin. You see, that S-I, not sins. It's like a person, something, a personality. It dwells. So when God told them, don't, don't eat of the fruit, when they ate it, the nature of the devil is called sin.
[37:28] So you are born with that nature in your flesh. That's why your father cannot be born again for you. You have the nature. Adam gave birth after his kind.
[37:39] And everybody gives birth after his kind. So after the sin, everybody, David said, in sin did my mother conceive me. When you are born, you arrive with the nature Satan has infested.
[37:51] Now watch this. Why do you think this has told the Jews? Brute of vipers. Because you have this nature of the devil inside of you.
[38:02] Viper. Serpents. Brute of serpents. Brute of vipers. You can't call human being vipers. Yes. Because they have the nature of a serpent. Jesus said, Brute of vipers.
[38:17] How can you being evil speak good things? For out of the abundance of that. You have, the venom of the serpent has entered your nature. So Jesus Christ also came.
[38:28] This is the, this is the point I'm making. Jesus Christ came in the nature. He took on humanity.
[38:41] That's humanity. He was God with our, he was a human being. He's God eternal. But all of you were human nature.
[38:54] And he want to deliver us from human nature. And the problem is in the human nature. So he also came in the likeness of a sinful flesh but without the sin of the flesh. He came in the likeness of sinful flesh.
[39:06] And Satan said, I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. He said, whoa, whoa, he killed me. He said, yeah, I'll kill you. Peter said, no, you can't. I said, Peter, get behind me. Satan, God, I have to go to the cross. Satan, he lured Satan. Satan killed him and took him and killed him on the cross.
[39:19] And he died. On the third day, he rose from the dead. He rose from the dead. Satan has been fooled.
[39:38] So he says that if Romans, 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 7 and 8 and 8, I think 9, if the princes of this world had known, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory.
[39:50] Satan, they don't know. But trying to crucify Jesus, he was shooting himself in the foot. Because what he did, he has hidden himself in the flesh. And this has also came in the likeness of the flesh.
[40:02] So when they nailed him to the cross, I've been quoting this every time in John chapter 3, verse 14. As Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness and have a shadow higher.
[40:13] Did you see the serpent? Did you see the serpent? Did you see the serpent? He said, the serpent was raised in the wilderness. So must the Son of Man be raised like a serpent.
[40:25] Raised like a serpent. As you crucified to the cross, he set us free in the power of death. Shout hallelujah!
[40:39] Shout your Lord as hallelujah! Sit down, I'll never run up. I'll never run up.
[41:15] thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. You are he, moving in on.
[41:28] I worship you. I worship you. You are he, turning lights around.
[41:41] I worship you. I worship you. I worship you. You are he, changing destinies.
[41:52] You are he, changing destinies. Changing destinies. Oh, I worship you. I worship you.
[42:05] Please be seated. правÃd of the State. I really need to finish.
[42:19] Listen. He, so on the cross, now doesn't make sense when he says that he abolished, verse 15, Ephesians chapter two, abolished, where?
[42:38] In his flesh. He also became, because what the Lord could not do, because the Lord was weep through the flesh, God himself did it by sending his son in the likeness of a sinful flesh without a sin.
[42:58] So when he came, he was walking, his agenda and his focus was the cross. From the day he arrived, it was the cross he was going. He was taking, dragging the flesh into his execution.
[43:13] So Peter said, you can, I said, Satan, get behind me. Pulling the flesh. The flesh. So you are like the flesh. I'm like, Jesus, try not to come.
[43:27] He was pulling the flesh to the cross. So you see, the disciple who said, you are the Christ, he said, upon this rock I'll build my church. But he didn't know that he has to destroy the enmity that is existing in the flesh.
[43:40] He has to destroy it so that he can build the church. So after he said, you are Peter upon this rock I'll build my church. Peter down turns around to tell him, you cannot die. You cannot die. Far bit from you.
[43:52] Master, that this should happen to you. He took him aside and rebuked. Matthew chapter 16. He took him aside, verse 22, 23, and started rebuking Jesus. Far bit from you. You cannot die.
[44:02] Far bit from you. Far bit from you. You cannot die. But Jesus had an agenda. That's why Pontius Pallet said, don't you not have power not to crucify you? He said, it's not been given to you. Oh, God, go ahead and do what you are doing.
[44:14] He said, who gave me to you has committed his guilty of more sins. John chapter 19. Because his objective was the cross. When they came and arrested him, he said, here am I. Take me. He knew Judas would betray him, but he needed Judas to go to the cross.
[44:29] Because the cross was God's plan from the beginning. When man sinned and the serpent, the nature of the serpent entered man, God said, don't worry.
[44:41] I'll take you all this. I'll take you all this. By the coming of Christ. From eternity, the son of man, the son of God, slain, the lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the earth.
[44:53] So from the beginning, it was always the plan. So God said, now I have to get him a flesh. How am I going to get him a flesh? Let me call Abraham. He called Abraham. And he sent his...
[45:03] Abraham, watch this. Abraham was not supposed to have a child, right? He couldn't have a child. Because a 19-year-old man, 99-year-old man couldn't work. Because even when he was 70, he couldn't have a child. How much were 99?
[45:14] So God waited. According to Romans chapter 4, verse 17, verse 19, when his body was dead. In other words, his loss functioning. And his wife's womb, Sarah's womb, was dead.
[45:25] God gave him a word. And Abraham believed that if God has said it, it can be possible. Sarah herself received strength to conceive. When she has gone past the time of childbearing. So naturally, it wasn't possible.
[45:36] It was a supernatural work. Why? Because God is trying to raise the people from Abraham. God himself. So watch this. Do you know how Sarah conceived? The word that came to Abraham formed some energy in him.
[45:49] And that same energy entered Sarah's womb and fertilized an egg that didn't exist. And became a new kind of breed of some. It's like the breath of God.
[46:00] So the Jews couldn't have existed. It was a word of God that formed them. Why? Because Jesus, Bible says in Hebrews chapter 10, I've come to do your verse 5.
[46:12] In the book, it said that in the volume of the book, it's written of me. It said for offering and sacrifices. A body has not prepared for you.
[46:23] The body of Jesus was prepared. A body has, but a body you have prepared for me. So when he came and wore that body, it has been, it couldn't have been any Gentile.
[46:34] It couldn't have been anybody. It definitely had to be a Jewish body and from a Davidic line. Because the Jewish flesh, the Jewish line has been preserved by God from Abraham to Jesus.
[46:48] That's why after Jesus came, whatever you do, it doesn't matter. Because all was to get Jesus. And Jesus wore the flesh. And I was putting the flesh to the cross.
[47:00] To the cross. To the cross. Systems were trying to discourage him. Pain, fear. But Jesus said no. Bible says that looking unto Jesus. The altar.
[47:10] Watch this. The altar. Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2. The altar and the finisher of your faith. Who for the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross. Despised him. So there was pain to consider.
[47:21] There was shame to consider. But he said no. I know that there's something bigger, which is called the church. It's coming after the cross. It's called the church. It's coming after the cross. The church is coming after the cross.
[47:32] So I will go. I will persevere. I will persevere. That's why Christians celebrate the cross. And he took the cross.
[47:43] The flesh to the cross. And nailing it to the cross. Yeah. Bible said all the handwritings. Colossians chapter 2 verse 14. Oh. There's good news for a fornicator.
[47:56] It says that having wiped out the handwritings of requirements that were against us and was contrary to us. There are some things that are working against you.
[48:08] There are some things that are contrary to you. Bible says that having nailed it to the cross. And he has taken it out of the way. How did he do it? He nailed it to the cross. Ah. So when he went on the cross, he nailed something.
[48:22] It wasn't Jesus. That's why when he came, he said I was nailed. Bam back. Whatever was nailed, stay there. Sit down. Let me finish. My time is up a long time ago.
[48:37] On the cross. So the thief said, come down. If you are the son of man, save yourself and save us. He did mine. The other thief said, shut up. Shut up. Dirty map. Jesus, remember me okay?
[48:48] I remember you. And they all died. But on the third day, he finished the work. That's why on the cross, John chapter 19 verse 30 said, it is finished.
[49:02] I've nailed this thing. I've paid for the price of sin. Watch this. Let me finish. I've paid for the price of sin. I've nailed the enmity amongst the groups.
[49:14] I've nailed the power of sin on the cross. The nature of the serpent has been nailed to the cross. The world has been nailed to the cross. The flesh has been nailed to the cross.
[49:26] Five things he nailed to the cross. If he nailed the law and the commandments that are not good for you, he nailed all those things to the cross. And then he came up. And then he resurrected to create one new man.
[49:40] That's when the creation took place. The new creation. The new creation took place after the resurrection. When he ascended on heaven, now he poured himself to the church.
[49:50] And the church was formed. New creation. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10. He says that for you, you are the workmanship of Christ. Of God.
[50:02] Creator. Is he creation there? Creation there. Creation there. But he finished creating in Genesis. Yes. He finished the first creation. But the new creation started after the cross.
[50:13] Wow. What did he create? One new man. What did he create? One new man. That's so important. Let's say it. What did he create? One new man. What did he create?
[50:23] One new man. Another name of the church of Christ is called the one new man. One new man. From every background, everything. Including liars and thieves and bad people, good people.
[50:35] Everyone. There's no demarcation. Once you are in Christ, you are part of the one new man. Because what? He created in himself. If you've been to the lab before and used the test tube to try and create some mixtures.
[50:47] You do it all within the lab environment. You take the test tube, you shake it, you mix it. I used to do titration and all that. You mix it, you mix it. And you have a substance. Okay.
[50:58] You can have two mixtures to a compound. You form a... You know what I'm saying? Oh, yes, sir. You can get a compound. Let's come here. Some of you... Sorry. Watch this. He created one new man.
[51:11] And then, by thereby making peace. And is that all? And then he presented... Look at verse 16. I want to come back to verse 15 again. Verse 16. And that he might reconcile both of them.
[51:21] So he's not reconciling one on one. Okay. So this is God. All right? Come. Let's hope you come. So that's the Jews. That's the Gentiles.
[51:37] And he... Watch this. Because he removed the enmity, he created them. And then reconciled them both to God. No, no.
[51:53] It's in your Bible. That he might reconcile them both to God in one body. So when... Come back. When he was reconciling them, he created in himself one new man.
[52:04] And he himself did the reconciliation. So they didn't go as two groups. They went as one group. One. He reconciled them in one body through the cross.
[52:16] There's no problem between us and God anymore. Whether Jew or Gentile, reconcile us in the cross to God. And putting to death the enmity that has existed between the two groups.
[52:32] We are one human. The church is a one human. Don't bring division here. Don't bring segregation here. It's not my type. It's not my class. It costs Christ's life to build a church.
[52:45] Don't bring what he has died for. What he has crucified on the cross. Don't resurrect it back into the church. It will not work. From today. Never say, I don't like this person.
[52:56] I don't get done with this person. If the person is in Christ and we are all in church, you don't have a choice. You don't have a choice. If you say, I don't like him, you are sinning against God. Yes. Yes. Because you are bringing back, trying to put Jesus back on the cross.
