[0:43] Do I have your permission to be brief? Having abolished in his flesh, this is so powerful, isn't it? I don't think you should forget this text.
[0:56] How Jesus abolished in his flesh the enmity, the enmity, abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in the ordinance, in ordinances, for to make in himself of the twine, of twine, one new man, so making peace.
[1:21] Verse 16. And by the cross. Did you realize that verse 16 is in line with the 14 and 15?
[1:39] So when I said in the verse 15 that, Father, we pray that you open the heavens upon the teaching of your word in Jesus' name. Amen. When I said in the verse 14 that he himself is at peace, and in the verse 16 says that he abolished in his flesh.
[1:58] Remember the flesh? And I was explaining that his human body is the flesh. And how did he abolish something in his flesh?
[2:09] By dying on the cross. You might think that I was just saying the flesh and making it up. But verse 16 is highlighting that. Look at verse 16. Verse 16 says, So he took the cross to bring the two into one.
[2:29] By the cross. He made the two one by the cross. How did he do that? By abolishing the enmity that has always existed.
[2:41] Jesus Christ came on this earth. To bring God into man.
[2:55] Matthew chapter 1 verse 23. The angel said, He shall be called Emmanuel. What's the meaning of Emmanuel?
[3:08] So that's what Jesus did. He brought God into man. But that's not all the process. He brought God into man. And that's why he said, If you have seen me, You have seen.
[3:21] Father, I am the, Depending on how you choose to pronounce it. It's called the icon. The Greek word is icon.
[3:33] That's where we get the English word icon. Or you can choose to call it icon or icon. Icon. Okay, icon. He's the icon.
[3:44] The substance. Another translation. The substance of God on earth. The substance of God. The Hebrew puts it this way.
[3:55] Hebrew chapter 1 verse 3. He's the express image of the God who cannot be seen. And that's very interesting. He's the express image. Express image of God's person.
[4:10] In Colossians chapter 1 verse 15, He says that He's the image of the invisible. God who cannot be seen. The image there is icon. Right? So when you see, That's why he said, You want to know how God is.
[4:24] I'm the substance, The physical, The natural substance of God. Because God is a spirit. He hasn't got physical substance. God is a spirit.
[4:34] Spirits don't have body. Spirits don't eat fried rice or chips. Spirits don't eat. That is why you have to feed your spirit.
[4:45] But my spirit, So McDonald's won't do it. McDonald's won't do it. KFC won't do it. Chick-fil-A won't do it.
[4:59] Oh. The doughnut people, What do you call them? Crispy, Crispy, Dark. No. I've eaten too much Chinese.

It won't do it. so your spirit must be fed how? the word of God that's the only way you can feed your spirit because spirits don't feed on natural things now Jesus said God, but Jesus said in John chapter 4 verse 24, God is a spirit that's why I say God is a spirit so but you don't see spirits walking around, you can't take a picture a photograph of a spirit you can't film a spirit because it's in another realm it's not in the physical realm for you to be able to use signs, to wait to assess it, no it's not in the sensory natural senses cannot pick up a spirit you can't smell a spirit you can't you cannot the spirits are talking, I can't hear them no, that's madness it's only mad people who hear spirits talk so you can't hear spirits talk you can't see spirits move you can't smell them and you can't touch them so
[7:08] God is a spirit, that's a problem then how can we see God? how can we experience God? that's why in John chapter 1 verse 18 says no man has ever seen God because he's in a different realm no man has seen God at any time you can't see him so what's the Jesus Christ the God who cannot be seen he he's not like an avatar like your avatar on your computer screen or your DP it's not you it's some icon something so they look at it they will know it's you but when you some of you when you look at when someone wants to know but who is that person then they go on your DP and pull your picture on your DP and send it ah I know it because the picture on your DP is your picture so it's your image it's the image of you now the icon
[8:14] God Jesus Christ being the express image is even stronger than your natural picture it's an express image it's like fingerprints when you hold something and you go and they come and scan it they can tell exactly who is it and it's the express tamperint of God God's God's substance in physical terms so they said where are you going go about this where are you going and he said where I'm going you cannot come and he said where is it that you are going you cannot come he said I'm going to the father then Thomas said master can't okay no no he told them first where I'm going you know the way and they said he said you know where I'm going you know the way he said we don't know where you are going how can we know the way and he said I'm the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father John chapter 14 verse 5 and 6 no one comes to the father except by me and then Thomas said okay okay okay alright right we don't even know the father just show us the father and it will be enough for us he said come on
[9:21] I've been with you all this while you don't know me whoever has seen me has seen God the father why because I am the express image I am the that's the Greek word the substance the substance of God on earth so when Jesus Christ became man he brought God into man and suddenly we saw Emmanuel for the first time in the history of the world God is with us he's walking with us he's shaking us he's praying for us he's healing us he's eating with us he's walking with us he's he's he's crying with us he's listening to us he's talking to us he's God with us he only didn't bring God into man according to 1st Peter chapter 3 verse 18 he also did something when he died and resurrected 1st Peter chapter 3 verse 18 what does it say or is it chapter 2 yeah that's the one
[10:27] I'm looking for 1st Peter chapter 3 verse 18 Christ also suffered once for sins why did he suffer not how many times why for sins okay he suffered how many times did he suffer for sins so what was going on in the cross he was suffering for sins suffered one for sins why the just he's a just person for unjust those of us who are not just why why did he do that oh okay remember how far we were from God he came in the he also took man to God in the in him becoming a man he brought God to man in his death burial and in his resurrection and ascension he took man to God and it's fundamental for you to understand so on the cross he was actually paying a price to form a people alright sorry to go back on the verse 15 again

[12:58] Jews and Gentiles okay it's Gentiles from the Jews and Gentiles creates these two groupings the Jews and Gentiles are the exact or appropriate epitome of human distinctions different groups so if you want to categorize all before God there are only two groups the Jews and the Gentiles now it is those in Christ and those who are not in Christ those in the new creation and those in the old creation that's how God sees it so God doesn't see so much as to where you live and what work you do and all that it's those who are called and those who are not called those who are in the new creation and those who are not in the new creation before Jesus came the Jews were the called people but now that Jesus came and gone we are the called he said for you are a chosen generation 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 8 and 9 for you are a chosen generation a royal priesthood a holy nation royal priesthood a holy nation his own special people that you may proclaim the praise of him who who who so we are called to be a holy nation alright so when it comes to
[14:31] God there are always two categories of people so when they say Jews and Gentile it's a broad a broad terminology to just speak about two distinctions and you can it doesn't matter how much you condense them into for instance in United Kingdom you know we have just United Kingdom we have those Wales Scottish Irish and English in England we have those in the south east northern of England west of England and east of England or you can call south of England when it comes to some of you live in south London others north London did you understand that and others also live in west London some live in east London and some live outside
[15:32] London so even when it comes to Londoners we have different so there will always be different categories when you go to a big university there are those who are first year second year third year masters PhD lecturers and workers there are all kinds of people now in the big in the university you can then categorize them into two main groups staff and students right you are either staff or you are students so in the same way you can always narrow the categorization into something because we are all British whether English Scottish Welsh we are all British in the same way but when you in Britain they are different so that's what it means Jews and Gentiles there's only Jews and the Gentiles are all of us the British the American the Caribbean the
[16:33] Nigerians the Canadians the Arabians and the Chinese we all the rest of us are Gentiles so there are always two categories now watch this it said he made one new man from the two by the cross he Bible says that he created in himself one new man from the two that's making peace now there's no division there's no problem but in Christ there's no two people there's no groupings there's only one group hello in Christ there's only one group before God there are two groups those in Christ and those outside of Christ in Christ as for us I mean I taught a message during the lockdown that grace knows no race there is no race when it comes to this subject of grace this my race my race it's nonsense grace knows no race so Jesus
[17:49] Christ on the cross brought two entities together in other words he brought different factions together and watch this created one entity from the two from the two one new man then one of the names or the phrases used to depict the church in scripture is the one new man one new man it's a new creation it's not the one new man is not from the old creation when God created the heavens and the earth he created the heavens and the earth and guess what now after he finished everything he created man and put man man was created last right right is that something you don't know man was the last of God's creation what day did God create man there's six he created man when he has finished everything put everything together that's why before a man tries to create family make sure their systems are in place yeah when you are going out with a guy who keeps losing a job sister advise yourself there's trouble ahead yeah there's a it's a system of laziness in display yeah you always lose a job you always lose a job as for you the best job you've got is always probation it's the probation period is the whole job and you never go past probation sister are you sure you can take this thing but he speaks in tongues yeah but even the tongues is the probationary tongues it's never gone past probation why do you think they asked for your testimonial or your reference what you've been doing will tell us what you are going to do did you hear what I'm saying but if any man being Christ is a new creation yeah

[22:12] Revelation chapter 21 verse 1 he said and I saw he said now I saw a new heaven and what oh I can't hear you let's read it out now why oh so so there's no sin that you have a new earth there's a new heaven and new earth coming so this one is going to pass away Jesus said heaven and earth shall pass away it's going to pass those of you who are all about material things material things bible says for the world is passing and the things that are in it first john chapter 2 verse 16 and 17 or 15 16 and 17 first john chapter 2 the world verse 17 the world is passing away what's happening to the world what's happening to the world mother earth is passing you and have a meeting about one woman called mother earth mother earth is passing away it's passing away how do you know that don't you see things are getting worse and worse and worse how do you know

[25:34] I want the thing to really be well cooked not knowing it was cooking my scalp as well when I finish I wash it out I will be fine because I needed the hair to be nice so I pay the price like ladies am I right sometimes one day a pastor went somewhere praying for people and lay hands on the woman so he felt wow the anointing is working not knowing she has got so anyway guess what I washed it was nice but my goodness all under my hair was so red maybe that's why I lost my hair it was painful and it took a while to heal and when I combed my hair it was coming there you know the scarves were just falling black ones that was the last time
[26:41] I attempted to do my hair I used to do my hair before I became born again I wanted a bit of it because so you don't believe I have hair I used to have a lot of hair nicer ones but why has my hair gone some of you believe that I used to have a lot of hair because things are passing oh yes why is that like that because heaven and earth shall pass away if all there is to you is about how you look I really feel sorry for you if all there is to you if your value is about how you look what you are wearing I feel sorry for you because heaven and earth is passing away if all your value is about the money you have I feel sorry for you Jesus a man came to Jesus in Luke chapter 18 and he said good master what shall
[27:42] I do to be saved Jesus said there was a rich young man go and sell everything you have give it to the poor and come and follow me and Bible says that the guy left very sad because he had great riches rather you find out that it wasn't riches he had the riches had him he didn't have money money had him Bible talks about a certain Luke chapter 16 there was a certain rich man Jesus told him a parable of a certain rich man and Lazarus huh Lazarus Luke chapter 16 I think from verse 25 somewhere there from 19 okay so there was a certain beggar Lazarus full of souls what does 19 say the verse 19 says that there was a certain rich man clothed with purple and fine linen he was wearing all their money and their gucci's what's his name he didn't mention his name how but guess whose name was mentioned
[28:50] Lazarus why did he mention his name because his identity was his riches even when he went to hell his name was never mentioned because his identity was his riches heaven and earth shall pass away so God created the new heavens old heavens and old and brought man in and now he created the new man to put him in the new heaven and the new earth and I'm talking about you listen if you are knowing Jesus you won't make it into the new heaven you won't you won't make it ah so if God lives in heaven where did he live before he created heaven and earth oh okay that's a simple question and it can be answered simply in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth where God lives God lives outside of time lives outside of physical realm so there's something theologians call let me permit me to sound a little bit technical anthropomorphic terminology anthropos is man
[30:02] I've taught you this before and morphiform so anthropomorphic is human form terminology language anthropomorphic language so in human terms we only understand physical places how can you describe a place that is not physical that doesn't exist in the physical realm there's no so you need something physical to explain it so when you say God is in the heavens it doesn't mean he's in the atmospheric or created heavens he's in the realm above creation he lifted his eyes to heaven and prayed to God no it doesn't mean God is upstairs so when the Australians are also praying and lift their eyes to God which direction is heaven then because they are opposite as their globe is round if they are standing down there and they are not falling off and they are looking down they say heaven we are also looking and say heaven so why is the heaven then so heaven is in the physical realm but it said
[31:06] Revelation 22 21 verse 2 I saw a new heaven and a new earth where is it coming from it says that new heaven I saw a new heaven okay and let's go to the next verse then John I saw new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God you see that heaven is not talking about the old heaven it's talking about the upboard of God the work the existence of God which is beyond natural the natural beyond the creation does that make sense so God has created the new man so as to put us in the new heaven and the new earth so Jesus Christ how did he accomplish this so Jesus Christ on the cross he was busy dismantling and creating he had to terminate and germinate he terminate the old
[32:09] Adam today I met a gentleman I know already I said but how come you are called Adam people say Jesus was the last Adam how come after last one you are coming first Corinthians chapter 15 I think there's 45 or so it talks about a last Adam yes the first man living being the last Adam you see that so how come that somebody called Adam again that was just a joke or the last Adam is not a name it's a description it's not a name so he came on the cross to terminate what started in Adam so he came also in the form of the likeness of Adam Jesus Christ he came in the likeness of Adam to put an end to the Adamic race so anyone who is in
[33:12] Christ is now a new creation you have been birthed into a new generation birthed into a new creation in Christ if any man be in Christ he is a new creation why because Jesus excuse me Jesus is the last Adam but he wasn't just the last Adam he's the second man he wasn't the second person created he's the second man in the first man created was Adam he started this generation so there's a second man who has come to start a new generation if you are not in the second man you die like everybody in the first Adam so on the cross he was terminating the Adam in us who come to him so he can germinate the Christ culture the Christ nature the Christ generation how what's the Christ generation is made up of a combination of all those who are in Christ called one human tell somebody I'm one human tell another person we are the one human listen it's not new man it's not excuse me it's not new woman it's one new man the body of
[34:26] Christ one new man is Christ male or female actual Christ he was male you didn't know that Christ himself he said you shall give birth to a son oh come on and shall call his name Emmanuel we just read it a virgin shall give birth to unambiguous it's clear shall give birth to a son is a son male or female shall give birth to a son now watch that I want to draw attention to something Jesus was he male or female so what's the pronoun for him we have the body of Christ if Jesus was male what's the body of Christ supposed to be the body of Christ supposed to be you are confused about this okay let me ask is he male or female is this male body or female body is this something you should be confused about so what what's the body of
[35:43] Christ male or female male but Bible calls the body of Christ she is a bride the body is the bride wow great is the mystery of god god a male but his body is a bride wow wow wow in Ephesians chapter 5 verse in fact 25 is enough to see the pronoun they use for the church that's already Allah let's go and himself for for for for so the church is a she the church is a she why because if Christ is a he his bride cannot so even though his bride is his body his bride of a necessity every bride is a she in fact that word bride is feminine you understand that because that's why the church is the universal bride the universal woman there are three or four four universal women in the bible the first one is
[37:13] Eve she is a woman who was representing all not one person Eve and then there's another one in Ephesians I just read Ephesians chapter 5 the church that woman is not a one person it's a universal corporate person one new man and imagine that the church is a bride and yet he's a new man for that man there is no gender just like they say sons of God sons of God is not gender based once we are the sons of God has not got anything to do with gender it's descriptive do you understand that so one new man there is not gender sensitive just the way a kingdom is not gender kingdom united kingdom we don't have there's no kingdom anywhere there's no kingdom it's always kingdoms so
[38:17] Jesus Christ came to die on the cross to bring two factions into one to create one new man on the cross now let's let me run up with the next verse therefore making peace and that he might reconcile Jews and Gentiles God's plan is to create a new representation of himself on earth a people of his but they can't come to God without Christ so Christ came so this is the Jew this one looks like a Gentile and their problem join your hand here and step out a bit their problem was sin sin sin was the problem so they can't come to
[39:21] God Isaiah 52 verse 1 it says that it's not that God's ears are deaf that he can't hear you not that his hand is short that he can't save sorry 59 verse 1 but verse 2 of 1 the Lord's hands are not short that he cannot save nor his ear heavy that he cannot hear but what's the problem verse 2 but your iniquities have separated you from God so there is a gap between man and God man cannot find his way to God how can you go and look for God God must so God said I have to find my way to man and bring man to myself remember what did Jesus do he brought God to man and took man to God so when Jesus came but the problem still exists the problem of sin so he had our sins 1 Peter chapter 3 verse 18 he died for our sins so on the cross when they crucified him on the cross that's why nothing could stop him from going to the cross he shed his blood the wages of sin is dead he has to give his life by shedding his blood to die for our sins not his sins he was sinless he died for our sins and by dying for our sins he removes the sin problem so the sin problem is gone forever thank you sin is now history
[40:41] I thought the whole message sin is history and now that's not the end and whilst he was dying as well he dealt a blow to that enmity that existed between us and then he brought us together and after bringing us together formed this one new man and then reconciled us to God that's what verse 16 says that he might reconcile both of them to God in one body so they don't come as two individuals they come as one new man fellowship they come as one new man you won't see any discrimination any distinction they are one they share fellowship we are all one not different factions the church is not just an organization I've been teaching it it's an organism the difference between an organization and organism is an organization is made up of assembly of different parts different parts but an organism is multiplying of one life so it's the same life that is growing that's why you are an organism it's your life the life that is in your fingertip or finger is the same life that is in your ears the same life in your brain it's one person one person that's an organism and the organism grows my fingers and my right fingers and my left arm they share the same life my right leg and my eyebrows share the same life it's one life so it's a shared life koinonia they share the same thing that's what makes us a body because we all share one life and what's the life of the church what's the life of the church what's the life of the church
[42:40] Colossians chapter 3 verse 4 it's when Christ who is your life who's our life our life is Christ it's there when Christ who is our life who is our life who is our same life I have it's the same life if you are in Christ the same life here that makes us one body and so he reconciled us as one body in one body to God God the father receive us and that he might reconcile reconcile reconcile he only reconcile people who have gone apart and they are not in good terms why were we not in good terms so first of all he died for our sins because the problem between us and God was the sins he took it out of the way but we are not going back on individual terms we are not going back to
[43:42] God by ourselves or in our groups God doesn't need groups God doesn't need groups he welcomes one body isn't interesting he didn't create Adam and he created Adam so when it was time to get Eve where did he go where so Eve was packaged in Adam Genesis chapter 2 verse 18 but why God who created man now you are saying it's not good for man to be alone he said I'm going to make a companion for him and then he goes into Eve and goes into Adam puts Adam on the theater table and opens him up God did the first surgery open Adam up and pull out the woman all along the woman was inside Adam Genesis chapter 1 verse 27 and God created watch this so God created man in his own image in the image of
[44:45] God he created him male and female so he created male and female but they are packaged in one why because God is not interested in individuals he's interested in us being one so as soon as you separate yourself from the group you are on your own don't value anybody's Christian life who does not practice fellowship never believe anybody's spirituality who downplays fellowship it's one of the clearest signs that you don't know God and you are not spiritual so if you go on TikTok and say that you don't need to go in church that's a sign that you are not spiritual you are not worth listening to you don't know God devil is you see you devil doesn't like the devil is a snake snakes don't walk in groups you will never see snakes walking in groups never once will you see snakes walking those of you have seen snakes you see the pet ones but
[45:59] I've seen a live snake in the forest before you see a live snake you don't see three of them moving together never never once will you see a group of snakes yeah you're right anytime you see two snakes they are fighting me and my friends have killed a cobra before in our secondary school in our secondary school there are a lot of snakes we kill them and we go and give them to the crocodiles you have to kill them you have to kill them before it kills you you look for a stick and some of the snakes they see and then they are quite smart but you don't see two together when you see snakes together it's movies that have created it snakes don't move together even a baby snake the very day he was born as soon as the egg is hatched and it come out of the egg it's gone it's on its own it's independent snake is a sign of independence it represents the spirit look in the garden of Eden how many snakes came to Adam those of you who don't like fellowship it's the snake nature that is working
[47:11] I'm just teaching and reasoning with you from scripture since I got born again I have always prioritized fellowship look at where it has taken me God cannot birth anything godly inside you outside of fellowship God can't use you to change lives and make impact by yourself you have to be connected to some people in fellowship bible says that pursue holiness righteousness with those who call on the name of God so it's not everybody you can even serve God with there are some churches if you go you backslide in spite of the deliverance they did for you you are backslidden yes oh I don't like a church that said come and we'll do deliverance for you it means they are not serious deliverance it makes you irresponsible instead of taking responsibility working with God and overcoming sin he said a devil is as my case what kind of devil is on your case you can overcome he that is in us is greater than this that is in the world what kind of devil is in you that a special man of God is the one to pray for you to cleanse that devil out of you before you can save God don't trust that man of God he's not a man of God he's probably a boy of God or something sins never move together spiritual rebels can't stand church life but Jesus can't stand isolation so even when he was sending them to go and preach he never sent them by one two two two two two two two two when the Holy Ghost was coming it never came on one person check the scriptures the Holy Ghost came when the day of the Holy Ghost came even when he was coming on Saul or Tarsus alone
