[0:15] If the just shall live by faith, I need us to get this very clear. It is very easy to think faith is an idea. Okay, okay, that's your opinion.
[0:27] Hey, faith is not an opinion. Faith is not an ideology. Faith is not an idea. Faith is not a theological or philosophical supposition.
[0:39] Faith is not an idea. Faith is not information. Faith, actually, watch this, faith is an act.
[0:53] Faith is action based on a word from God. So two things that define faith. First of all, what gives birth to faith is a word from God.
[1:07] If there is no word from God, you don't have faith. It might be faith. It might be faith, but not faith. You don't have faith.
[1:19] If it is not based on a word one head, it is not the faith we are talking about. For instance, we found out, we read in the book of Romans, verse chapter 4, 17.
[1:34] Bible says that Abraham, talking about Abraham, that it is written, I have made you a father of many nations. In the presence of him, who he believes, God, who gives life to the dead and calls the things which do not exist as though they did.
[1:52] The next verse says that, who Abraham, talking about Abraham, this is the key where I'm going. Who, contrary to hope, King James says against hope. In hope, in hope, against hope, believed in hope.
[2:05] That he might be, watch this, he might be, he might become the father of many nations. That is where faith came in. According to, so his believing was not just out of the blue.
[2:21] Okay, what, what can I, okay, what can I, what can I try? All right, all right. No, no, no, no. His believing was according. On the basis of what was said.
[2:32] That which was spoken. Where does faith come from? Comes from hearing what has been spoken. If you are, no one is preaching it, preach it yourself to yourself.
[2:46] Bible says, the woman with the issue of blood, for she said to herself. Her condition, Mark chapter 5. Her condition couldn't afford to wait for a preacher.
[3:01] For, Matthew chapter 9, verse 7. He said, for she said to herself. She said to herself. Faith comes by something that has been spoken.
[3:16] So, Bible says that. Faith comes by hearing. Abraham had the faith. Oh, let me put it this way.
[3:27] Abraham had the audacity. At that age. At that age. That's madness.
[3:38] Baris Salaam. Clear, clear cut madness. At that age. You, you, you want to have a child?
[3:50] No. He didn't want to have a child. He didn't want to have a child. He heard the word that said, you are going to have a child. God. A word came.
[4:01] And he, Bible says that. He chose to believe the word. Against all other options. Against all odds. He chose that I'm going to believe this word.
[4:13] And so, his faith was born by a word he heard. He said that according to that which was spoken. You can't afford to exclude yourself.
[4:24] From being in a place where you hear the word of God coming. It's too risky. It's too risky for what God can do in your life. It may give Satan a field day in your life.
[4:38] Why? Because God, there are things God wants to do. But as we heard in the previous sessions. He will not just do it because, because someone wants him to do it.
[4:50] Because someone is in need, then God must do something. God, where are you? Do something. God, where are you? Do something. He said, I'm waiting. I watch over my word to perform it. Give me a word. Stand on my word.
[5:02] Hold on to my word. If I said it, it's settled. God says it and it settles it. And so, Abraham heard a word. One of the reasons why when we come to church, you have to minimize, determine that distractions will be minimum in your life.
[5:21] The word of God can only be received by somebody whose heart is open to God in reverence. So, if there is reverence, you won't allow other things to cheaply.
[5:33] Some distractions are unavoidable. Some are intentional. Some, you actually go and bring it on yourself. Do you know why?
[5:44] Bible says Satan put it in the heart of Judas. Sometimes, when you are getting close to your testimony, Satan will just trap you.
[5:56] Satan made David count the people, number the people of Israel. So, Satan. David, don't do it. God has told him, stay on this track. One day, Satan moved the heart of David.
[6:07] He provoked his heart to number the Israelites. Something that he shouldn't have done. Satan inspired him. Satan triggered it. Satan moved him.
[6:18] In the same way, Satan moved Judas. Yes. Now, Satan stood up against Israel and moved David to number Israel. Satan did it. Satan entered the heart of Judas.
[6:30] Come, go. Go and have discussions with the enemies of Jesus. Go. Tune into their online shows. Talk. Say something. Say something. Comment. Satan moved their heart.
[6:42] So, Satan can move your heart. And it will not be clear that it's Satan. You might think, oh, I just thought. I just thought. Let me just, let me just. Yeah, let me just check what's going on.
[6:55] Because I know they just had elections there. And you mean in church service? When the word of God is coming, you are surfing. That's why you keep staying on the surface.
[7:07] Because you keep surfing. You can't dive deep. Abraham had faith according to that which was spoken.
[7:24] And the Bible didn't keep us in the dark about what was spoken. So shall thy seed be. That was the word.
[7:35] They took him out. God showed him the heavens. And he said, you see the skies? So a childless man. A childless man. And he's now too old.
[7:46] He's gone past the stage of childbearing. When he was healthy and active, he produced Ishmael. God said, I don't like this one. In fact, initially, watch this.
[8:00] He suggested that my wife cannot have a child. And because my wife cannot have a child, it means I cannot have a child. And so he said, chapter 15, Genesis.
[8:11] A lazer of Damascus shall be my heir. God said, don't say that. Because one from your own loins. What God didn't say is one from your wife's womb.
[8:24] It's said from your own loins. But legitimately, it implies with your wife. Then the wife in Genesis 16 came to him. It says that God said it's from your loins.
[8:36] Let's make use of your loins. So the wife gave recommendations and referrals. And Abraham and the wife, like Ananias and Sapphira, they agreed to do it, to help God so God doesn't look bad.
[8:57] And it worked. And so finally, somebody has come from my loins. God, thank you. God, where are you? God, thank you. God went silent. God, thank you.
[9:07] I can't see you, God. For 13 years, God went silent because you did what he didn't ask you to. And God said, okay, I'll wait. So God waited. When Abraham was 99 years and everything had shut down.
[9:22] Everything had shut down. Then God came back to him and said, you shall have a seed. He said, God told him, so shall thy seed be. And then Abraham, according to Romans chapter 4, Abraham believed God.
[9:36] And it was accounted to him for righteousness. And so at that age, he was able to have a child because of what he heard God say.
[9:47] At that age, he was past having children because his body was naturally dead. And that was things taking its natural course.
[9:58] Without interruptions and interference. Things have taken, and they have all accepted it. I believe that his body was dead around 85 or 80.
[10:10] So potentially around 85. Let's even take it further. Around 90. It's gone. Then God waited 99.
[10:20] Then God came at a time when there is complete darkness. Because God still oppraised the system of post-tenebrous lacks.
[10:32] After darkness, light will come. I don't know who I'm talking to. But after darkness, light will come. Stay with God. Stay with God. Stay with God. Look at how Jesus puts it in the book of John.
[10:44] He said, as long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. John 8, 12. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
[10:54] Jesus is saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in darkness, but he shall have the light of life. So if you can stay with Jesus, post-tenebrousness, last.
[11:07] Light will certainly come at the end of that darkness you're going through. I don't know who I'm preaching to, but I believe I have a word for somebody's marriage. I have a word for somebody's finances.
[11:18] I have a word for somebody's ministry. I have a word for somebody's business. There shall be light. Light is coming. Light is coming. That is the word. God will wipe your tears away.
[11:29] And light will dawn. And testimony will come. If you believe, he shall hear slow. Yes, Lord. Please be seated. So, Abraham.
[11:42] Abraham definitely had a word. That's where his faith came from. It wasn't because he had determined, I'm not going to have a child. But when he had finished, God comes to him.
[11:55] He said, look. Look at this. This is how you're. And Abraham said, oh, okay. I believe it. Abraham believed it. and so even though his body was dead he did not stagger at the promise of god so things were looking negative around him but he still held on to the promise of god he said things can shake the promise of god will not shake in my heart god is too faithful to say faith bible said faithful is he who collect you who also will do it faithful is he who has promised who also will do it i don't know what satan has picture satan has showed you it's all false and fake whatever satan has showed you god's truth supersedes it faith when we talk about christian faith we are not talking about assumptions presumptions ideologies faith is none of these but faith actually is action based watch this based born by a word from god so you saw the scriptures we read bible says in hyptical chapter 11 that by through faith but that's verse 2 the elders the elders by it the it there is faith for initially said now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen then he says what for by it by so faith is the instrumental cause of their testimony it's not their connections it's not their miserable state god if you can do something if someone came to jesus he was so the man was so down down not many many many of us can imagine could happen to us he was very down down down down down down down down down down he tried the disciples of jesus they couldn't help and even made the situation downer yeah so when jesus came he brought his hand he brought his hand mark chapter 9 from verse 21 he told jesus this is the situation of my son every now and day demon tries to put him in fire and he's trying to kill him then he added a statement the verse 22 he said he said often it throws him down into the fire and all that but if you can do anything have compassion with and please help me oh god look at how i'm suffering god i don't have a job god no one wants to marry me i don't have a one to marry god they are throwing me out of my hands oh god listen that doesn't guarantee answer a job you are being employed to do something and what they are looking for is your competence when it comes to god and you want god to do something for you your miserable state is not what moves god first is your knowledge your basis on his words what you are claiming for him to do do you have any word reason i have faith i have faith yeah okay faithful what paul was preaching he saw that the man had faith for not for prosperity faith has a target faith is is going some way so he said he had faith to be healed some of you here i can see faith for church growth is growing some faith for doing well in your exam is growing some faith for financial breakthrough is growing there are people here faith for healing is growing

So what did he see?
[44:03] Because if faith is an idea, you can't see it. Faith is an action. So he saw the man doing something. He's never worked. But he saw the man starting.
[44:17] He started. And Paul was not preaching on healing. The pure word carries the faith to deliver anything. Don't wait for us to preach prosperity before you have faith for prosperity.
[44:34] Paul saw. Paul saw. So Paul didn't finish his preaching. The man interrupted him because faith was at work. He stopped the preaching and started working with faith.
[44:48] Check your Bible. Paul didn't finish preaching. He observed. Then Paul stopped the preaching and focused on the man and started having one on one with him.
[44:59] He said to him. Then Paul said to him, stand up on your feet. But he's never worked. Why are you saying that? Because sin is going to... I can see faith to be healed so he can walk then.
[45:17] The man that God saw that there is faith to be healed. I didn't even know what the man of God has seen. Because the man of God is a trader in the word of God which generates faith. He said, rise up.
[45:28] He told him, stand up to your feet. Paul said to him with a loud voice, stand up! Straight away on your feet. And the man leaped.
[45:40] Without physio. He started working. He started... I see somebody's destiny beginning to work. Oh, your amen is an expression of your faith.
[45:54] Areas of faith expressions are venues where faith expressions can happen easily. Number one, in the area of your devotion to God, your commitment to the things of God is classic areas where action faith can be seen.
[46:12] Classic area, avenues of greater expressions of faith. Avenues of greater expression of action faith.
[46:23] Avenues. Avenues. Areas. Number one, your devotion to God. Your commitment to the work of God. That is what has brought me where I am.
[46:35] That's what has given me access to speak the word of God to you. My faith has always been expressed in my extreme unyielding devotion to the things of God.
[46:48] So I don't have... My faith is not just for receiving money, receiving things. My faith, first of all, is expressed in my commitment and devotion to the things of God.
[46:59] Whether by life or by death. Whether it will bring fame or it will bring assaults. My commitment to the work of God.
[47:11] Your commitment to the... Your devotion to God, it procures covenant blessings. So your devotion to God is through His work. Some of us, there's no commitment to God's work.
[47:25] Zero commitment. A half-hearted commitment. When the going gets tough, you quit. You join the choir. You think it's just about singing.
[47:36] Little did you know that it's full of rehearsals. A woman of faith, Sunday morning, you are still in bed. You are saying, I've had a long week.
[47:48] I've not had a long week. See, if you are willing to pay the price, God will open the door for a price for you. Faith is hard work, not cheap talk. Hard work.
[48:02] Faith is hard work. So your devotion to the things of God. Some of you, I can tell that your tomorrow, with all today that has happened, if you are not careful, your faith will be betrayed by the time you get to church.
[48:16] Yeah. Devotion to His work, God, His work, His servants, and His people. Your commitment to God's servant matters.
[48:27] Paul said, in Acts chapter 16, Priestly Aquila, they laid their neck down for me. He said to the Philippian church, Philippian chapter 4, when I was in Thessalonica, you sent for my aid, me, me, me.
[48:43] He spoke about Onesiphorus in 2 Timothy chapter 1, that he cared about me. He sought out from verse 13. He sought out from me, took care of me.
[48:55] He didn't say church, me. And he said, may God have mercy upon him and his household because of how he took care of me. Because I live for their assignment.
[49:06] The Shunammite woman said, I want to prepare a chamber for this holy man of God. Your commitment, your faith expression is always reflected in your commitment to God's work, your commitment to God's servant.
[49:21] One you know is genuinely serving God. And your commitment to God's people you love to be a blessing to the people of God. That's faith. Give God the chance to see your faith in action in this avenue.
[49:35] Number two avenue, quickly. Number two avenue is financial commitment. covenant. It's expressed in area of covenant practices.
[49:46] What are covenant practices? Like tithes and offerings. They are covenant practices. If you understand the covenant of God, you walk in it. You don't have to, you don't need someone to be checking on you.
[49:57] Covenant practices. Remain consistent. Your offerings, your tithes, these are basic covenant practices. That tells us your faith.
[50:08] When we come to church and it's time for offering, it's time for someone to put faith in action. Exercise your faith. Every time, every time. And sometimes your level of giving tells us your status in faith.
[50:23] Your giving is a photograph of your faith. Covenant practices when it comes to finances. And then kingdom investment programs. Kingdom projects.
[50:33] When it comes to, that is where you force God to manifest in your finances. Most people want God to manifest in their finances simply because they are in need.
[50:44] Your dreams. That there wouldn't be anybody poor in life. God will just be showing up. No. Jesus said, the poor you always have with you.
[50:55] Everywhere you go, you find poor people. Because there are people who will not practice covenant. God reacts financially in people's financial state based on their financial commitments and steps of faith in finances.
[51:11] Never forget this. Never forget this. So, and faith seeds. So, I'm talking about covenant, commitment, kingdom, investment, and faith seeds.
[51:24] Oh, I'm a man of faith seeds. Some of you, you are so dry of seed faith. When was the last time you sowed a special seed into somebody's life? That I want to sow this seed in your wedding.
[51:35] I want to sow this seed because of the word I heard from you. Because of some, I want to sow this seed. It's not offering, it's not tithe, it's not kingdom project, but I'm sowing a seed believing God into your life. And let me give you the last one.
[51:46] So, the avenues of greater faith expressions, number one, devotion to God, number two, financial commitment, number three, in your areas of your personal challenges. like your health, your family life, your career, educational business, and ministry.
[52:03] These are areas of your personal challenges where you step out by faith to see God at work. You want to get married? Stop trying to hunt men down. Engage in faith.
[52:18] Pastor, how do I go about? Keep serving and settle in your heart that God will serve you. God will take care of what must be taken care of. All this complaining and complaining, everywhere you are, people can hear, you are like a bamboo bee.
[52:31] You are that? Bamboo bee. Somebody got it now. Now, the faith message is changing into church life. That's my calling.
[52:45] I'm a church builder. Yeah. If you are walking by faith and it cannot be seen, it's only for your stomach. Come on.
[52:56] What kind of faith is this? Because when God gives you instructions, it's usually for His agenda first. And your blessing is in alignment with His agenda. So if I don't teach you God's agenda for you to bring your life, seek ye first, not your kingdom, the kingdom of God.
[53:10] Many of us are seeking our own kingdom in the name of faith. My God. Hey. So, personal challenges like your health, step out in faith.
[53:22] Remember, point B on that, your family life. Some of us, your child, your child is at the concern for you. Believe God. Start confessing the word. Trust God.
[53:33] This, your child will be able to add one to one and have two and not 28. Your 12-year-old child, when you ask Him, what is two plus three?
[53:48] He said, 23. And you are wondering, where is this coming from? Because the mom is so brilliant. Their dad is so intelligent.
[53:59] Where God, they say that, did we not sow good seeds? Good seeds. Where did these seeds come from? that what they say is family sickness, the cancer that is jumping from member to member.
[54:14] Believe God that it stops. Take action, faith. Take steps. Don't say, I have faith, and you are sitting there, I have faith, I have faith, I have faith.
[54:26] Show it. Act it. Act it. Get the word, and act on the word. Personal challenges things like your finances. Things are collapsing.
[54:38] The little left. I think that a gentleman gave a testimony. He said that day when he came, he's being paid from his previous job. He emptied everything. And the thing started speaking.
[54:49] You are so calculative. Until I know what they are doing with their money, I won't give. You don't have to give. You are now charity commission in church.
[55:04] Listening to all kinds of madness. Madness who are agents of the devil to ruin church lives.
[55:16] Check people who listen to them and follow them. Check the quality of your Christian life. After following them, do before and after. You know that thing? Before and after. You know, some women, they do gym, and then before and after.
[55:27] You should do before and after. You are just canna, and you are using words to embellish your canality. To endorse, to glorify carnality. Let's call carnality what it is.
[55:39] Call a spade a spade. I've been in church longer than you. You! I've been in church longer than you. Never have I had church hurt. Never! But I've been through all kinds.
[55:50] Relationships, different things will come. You'll be disappointed. Someone will offend you. Someone, someone you may even feel this way. The way he talks to me is bullying me. He's abusing me. But what's church hurt? Manipulative statement, bullish statement to intimidate and bully people.
[56:11] Since you started following such people, what has it done to your Christian life? You used to go for outreach, you stopped. You used to read your Bible every day, you stopped. You used to wake up to pray, you stopped. You used to be the preacher.
[56:22] Now, you are in the class back. How did that happen? You started listening to mad people who are agents of the devil coming like they are coming to help you in your well-being.
[56:38] Meanwhile, they are coming to build carnality in your life. Look at you. Where has it taken you? You used to have peace in your home. Now, look at you. Look at you.
[56:48] When you were walking by faith, see how things were building for you. See how things were building for you. I want to talk to somebody. You have run out of church. Come back to church. You are not happy.
[57:00] You are miserable. I can tell. You are miserable. You are miserable. You know things are going down. Sis, sis, come back home. Come back home. And personal challenges in the area of your ministry.
[57:14] Yeah. Sir, don't give up. Don't lose heart. Ministry is fraught with challenges. But when you work with God, you always overcome.
[57:28] Yeah. God ministry is God's personal interest. When you work with Him, sir, you will not be left behind. You will see challenges, but you overcome challenges.
[57:42] How do you overcome? Still work by faith. Keep moving. Organize the prayer meetings. Organize the Bible studies. Keep doing, organize the outreaches.
[57:54] Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Because your labor in the Lord is never in vain. Pastor, I know sometimes you are so down because it looks like church is not working.
[58:09] but I'm telling you, just walk in faith and see God show up. If we are going to take the revival further, we have to build our faith stronger.
[58:22] Build your faith. Don't just live an ordinary life because you have an extraordinary mission. You can't live an ordinary life.
[58:34] You are the one who has the X factor. You got it. So work by faith. Make a choice.
