[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every true revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's Word. May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.

[0:13] Acts chapter 5, I would like to read from verse 11. I'm going to have a long read. Acts 5, 11 says that, And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

[0:28] And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wroth among the people, and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

[0:41] And of the rest dust no man joined himself to them, but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes, both men and women, insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

[1:13] There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and them which were vexed with unclean spirits, and they were healed everyone.

[1:28] Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, which is the sect of the Sadducees, and were filled with indignation, and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison.

[1:45] But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison door and brought them forth and said, Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the ways of this life.

[1:57] And when they heard that, they entered the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest came and did a work with him and called a council together and all the senate of the children of Israel and sent to the prison to have them brought.

[2:11] But when the officers came and found them not in the prison, they returned and told, saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety and the keepers standing without before the doors.

[2:25] But when we had opened, we found no man within. Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priest heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

[2:41] Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people. Then went the captain with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

[2:59] And when they had brought them, they set them before the council and the high priest asked them, saying, Did not we strictly command you that you should not teach in this name?

[3:11] And behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

[3:25] The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hung on the tree. Him has God exalted with his right hand to be a prince and a savior, for to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

[3:45] And we are his witnesses of these things. And so is also the Holy Ghost whom God has given to them that obey him. Here ends the reading of God's holy word.

[3:58] Let's pray. Father, thank you so much for giving us the privilege to gather to hear your word. As your word is taught, we pray that give us direct encounters and direct access to Jesus, who is the word, the living word, the life-giving word.

[4:16] Jesus, be our bread of life. Be our living bread. As the word is taught, feed our spirits. Nourish us with yourselves. That we will grow increasingly like you.

[4:27] Conflict the sinner. Save the lost. You are our savior. Thank you for what you are yet to do because of the teaching of your word. Not just in this auditorium, but beyond. And not just today, but in the many days to come as a result of us being exposed to your word.

[4:44] Glorify your name in Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. We thank God for another year. And it's nice to enter and start the year again with what we didn't finish last year.

[5:02] Amen. The essence of church is fellowship and to hear God's word taught. And for him to be formed more in us.

[5:15] Galatians chapter 4 verse 19, it says that, I travel in Beth again until Christ be formed in you. That's God's agenda.

[5:29] It's the forming of Christ in us, his vessels, in us, his saints, in us, his believers, and in the church. That the church will be what is supposed to be the body of Christ.

[5:42] Ephesians chapter 4 verse 13 says that, Till we all come to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God. That's God's agenda.

[5:53] That we are all going to come to a place where our faiths are not shaky. The unity of faith and the knowledge of the Son of God. And unto a perfect, a perfect that means full grown and matured, stable man.

[6:07] Unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. I see that is where God is bringing all of us to. Amen. In Jesus' name. So, we saw in our previous teaching in the book of Acts, how Ananias and Sapphira were eliminated.

[6:25] Were eliminated because they were bringing sin, introducing the first set of people to introduce sin in the church.

[6:36] The church was very pure. The church was very fresh and very pure. And Mr. and Mrs. Ananias decided that they were going to infiltrate or introduce sin into the church.

[6:57] God said, I would not have none of that. I would not have any of that. And the sin they were introducing was very devastating. Actors in the church, they were bringing hypocrisy.

[7:10] Because they were trying to also gain recognition before the people in a way they were not worthy of. So, it's human to want people to see you in a way sometimes you are not.

[7:24] It's always human to want people to credit you with virtues you don't have. And that's where hypocrisy starts from. Jesus said, not in the pure church.

[7:34] And so, Jesus eliminated them. God himself took the personal responsibility. And he said, away. Come to heaven early. So, you don't mess up the church on earth.

[7:46] So, God recalled them. Then, I think he was giving the church a factory reset. Because these guys were going to support the church. And from our text today, verse 11 says that, And fear came, Acts 5, 11.

[8:02] And great fear came upon all the church. Let's all say all the church. All the church. And it wasn't only the church, but as many as heard these things.

[8:15] That was scary. Going there, you'll die. People loved their quality transformed lives.

[8:26] One of the things that the sign of every genuine church is transformation of lives. People, the world tend to like our gentility, our transformed lives.

[8:40] But every church that produces transformed life must also have within it the judgment of God. So, the transformed life, the people like it.

[8:53] But they don't like the judgment. So, God said that it is part of what goes on in the church. People must die in a pure church. Maybe it will not be in a radical way like Aranias and Sapphira.

[9:06] But some true sickness, they have to be recalled home quickly. Yeah, I like the way they play this quiet. I know you are thinking about yourself. You better not join if you are not ready to have him as Lord.

[9:21] The character of the church is more a witness because this is the beginning of propagation of the gospel. We need that purity in the church to validate our testimony.

[9:32] When sin multiplies in the church, it weakens our testimony. The testimony of the church, the message of the church is significantly weakened and polluted or downgraded when sin becomes comfortable in the church.

[9:49] When our character does not line up with what we are preaching, the world are not interested listening to us. So, God said, let us sort out the church.

[10:01] And because of that, great fear came on the church. Verse 12 says that, and by the hand of the apostles, God did many miracles. All these things will happen, but look at verse 13.

[10:13] And the rest, let's give New King James, please. Yet none of the rest there joined them. With all these miracles that were happening. People say, no, no, no. I don't want to go there.

[10:24] I don't, no, no, no. Oh, there's powerful things. Miracles. I don't know. I just want the miracle. But the other things, I don't like it. I don't want to go there. It's New King James. People, none of the rest there joined them.

[10:36] But the people esteemed them highly. They were not Christian. They said, these people, we love their character. We appreciate their character. These are pure. These are people you do business with and you know that you are guaranteed.

[10:49] You can loan money to them. And you know that they'll pay when they say they'll pay. You can rent your house to them and they won't spoil the house. Their world will like us to be comfortable with their sinning.

[11:05] Because they like our transformation. They like our transformation. They like our singing. They like our environment. They like our safety. But they don't want to leave their sin. Sometimes you might invite a friend to church.

[11:18] And after church, they said, no, no, this is not for me. That's okay. They don't like the message. It's okay. It's not for everybody. It's for people who want Jesus. People who wants to change.

[11:32] When the church becomes soft on sin, we lose our testimony to win the world. It's just necessary.

[11:42] It's just necessary. Any church that goes quiet and soft on sin, on behavior. It doesn't mean legalism. I'm not talking about judgmentalism and legalism.

[11:54] But the church must be the church. When it comes to our behavior, the church must be the church. It's the center of transformed life. And the transformation in life must begin to show.

[12:04] Not only in church, but at home. Some of us, people you live with, are not interested in this church. This church thing you are talking about. Because of your character.

[12:15] You've gone to church. You said, I'm now in church. But there's nothing churchy about your behavior at home. Nothing Christ-like. There are some people, you would see them in church, active to you, marry them, you realize you made a mistake.

[12:28] Because they have, it's like, he reminds you so much of your ex in the world days. How your ex was so proud, offensive, and womanizing.

[12:43] You meet a man in church who is also the same. That's a conundrum. So God tried to sweep out. You think we should believe God for that?

[12:55] He does it. He's still doing it. He's sweeping out gradually. Different styles. Yes, different, different. After lockdown, he swaps and people out. Praise God.

[13:10] I don't like the way the place is quiet, so. It's like, you are trying to cause great fear to fall on me. So, and Bible says that, verse 11 again.

[13:24] Let's move away, but let's go to verse 11. He said, great fear came upon all what? The what? Anytime you see the word church, it means one of two things.

[13:37] It's either we have two aspects of the church. The universal church and the local church. In this text, this is the first time in the book of Acts, this church was used in the sense of the local church.

[13:51] What's the difference? In Matthew chapter 16, verse 18, Jesus said, blessed are you, Simon, by Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this unto you. I said to you, Peter, upon this rock, I will build my church.

[14:05] Now, that my church, it encompasses all Christians from the days of Jesus to the time he comes. From the first coming, after the resurrection, or after the coming of the Holy Ghost to the time he comes.

[14:19] That's all Christians. That's my church. That is called the universal church. And so when you are born again, automatically, according to 1 Corinthians chapter 12, we are baptized into the church by the Holy Spirit.

[14:33] So the Holy Spirit baptizes us into the, as soon as you become born again, you are automatically part of the universal. By one spirit, we are all baptized into the body.

[14:45] So we are all part of the body, which is the church. That's the universal church. But we have the local church. Jesus spoke about both. In Matthew chapter 18, Jesus spoke about local church.

[14:58] Let's go to verse 16. It will make sense. He said, but if he will not hear you when somebody offends you, you see. He said, go. He has committed church discipline. The judgment that happened in the days of Ananias himself, now he's committed into the hands of the church.

[15:13] For the church to carry out discipline. So he said, when someone offends you, go and talk to me. If you will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses, a word might be.

[15:23] Verse 17 is where we are going. He said, if he refuses to hear them, tell it to their church. Now, this is not the universal church. The local church where every believer must be part of.

[15:37] So you see, you must be part of a local church in order to function within a local church. Problems in the church. When you have problems with somebody, don't go and sit online and attack them.

[15:48] And say, Christians, I really want to address some issues about Christians. That's not Christian. What is Christian is deal with it within the local church. Deal with it.

[16:00] Don't spread it everywhere. So I don't see the sense in sitting online and attacking other believers. It's a classic sign that you are either an unbeliever or you don't understand Christianity.

[16:11] Because online is not online. It's rather propagate the gospel. Talk about Jesus and stop talking about sins about other believers.

[16:25] And attacking people. It is one of the lowest level of Christianity to publicly be mentioning people's names and attacking them. No sound, genuine Christian leader will take delight in mentioning other people's names and potentially other Christian leaders' names.

[16:45] And attacking them. Attacking them. Attacking them. Attacking them. That's not a message. God never gives anybody a message of sorting out the church publicly.

[16:56] No one has that kind of message. Our message is, he said, go and stand in the temple and speak the words of this life. The message is clear. No one has an assignment and a message to sanitize the general church.

[17:10] Did you understand what I'm saying? And so we have the local church and the universal church. Universal church is all of us who constitute the body of Christ.

[17:21] And the local church is the aspect of the universal church which meets in a local jurisdiction. Local community. And it's replete in all scripture.

[17:31] When you look at Acts, it's everywhere. You see the local church. So the local church is the local church in its local community. In its local community.

[17:42] So for instance, we are in London. We have a branch in Birmingham. That's also a local church led by a team of people. So there are different local churches.

[17:53] And you see it's replete in scripture. For instance, in Acts chapter 8, verse 1 and verse 3, that was talking about a local church. So now, Saul was consenting to his death.

[18:05] At that time, great persecution arose against what? Which one? Did you see that? This is not talking about a locality in a particular place.

[18:17] Look at verse 3. It says that, as for Saul, he made havoc of the church. Saul cannot make havoc of the church in a place he cannot reach.

[18:28] So it's talking about within a local community. In Acts chapter 9, verse 31, you see something. There are so many texts.

[18:38] Acts 9, verse 31 says that, then the church throughout all Judea and Galilee. So, sorry, the churches. The churches. It's individual churches. These are local churches.

[18:51] Local churches. So the churches all throughout Judea and Samaria in those regions. And then when you read chapter 11, verse 22 and verse 26, you also see that it says that, the news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem.

[19:07] Did you see that? That is a particular church. So something happened and they told it to the church in Jerusalem. Not a church in Antioch. Not a church in Ephesus. This one went to the ears of the church in Jerusalem.

[19:18] Look at verse 26. It says that, and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year, they assembled with the church and taught great many people.

[19:31] The church is not. This is the church in Antioch they're talking about. In Acts chapter 12, verse 1 and verse 5, that's now about that time, Herod stretched forth his hand to harass some from the church.

[19:45] This is the church because Herod was, his jurisdiction was Judea. So the church in Jerusalem. Look at verse 5. Peter was kept in prison, but prayer was offered to God by, he's talking about a local church in Acts chapter 13, verse 1.

[19:59] The church that was in Antioch, he's talking about a local church. So when you study, you look at, really, that's very interesting. Thank you, Jesus. When you look at the book of Acts, there's more references to local churches than universal church.

[20:12] Actually, generally in the scriptures, many of the references that were made to church was local church. So when someone downplays the local church, anything that weakens the local church is weakening the church at large.

[20:27] The universal church. The universal church only expression is the local church. The world will not know the church apart from what they know of us. We are the local church that gives an expression in the locality to the universal church.

[20:42] Does that make sense? So you see it replete not only in the book of Acts. It's actually in the New Testament itself. In other places, you can see Bible making references and talking about the local church.

[20:55] Romans chapter 16, verse 1. First Corinthians chapter 1, verse 2. Romans 16, verse 1, talks about a command, Phoebe, who was a servant to the church. Which church? The church in Sincrea.

[21:07] So the church in Sincrea, Phoebe, sister Phoebe, was a blessing to the church in Sincrea. First Corinthians chapter 1, verse 2. It says that this letter, he was writing the letter.

[21:18] To those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saved, with all those in every place that call the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Sorry, I'm sorry. To the church. To the church of God, which is in Corinth.

[21:30] So, look at our place. The church of God was in Corinth. Revelation chapter 1, verse 4, and verse 11. It says that, to the seven churches which are in Asia.

[21:41] Did you see that? So, this is not everyone. It says, there are local churches. Local churches. Verse 11. It said, what you see, write and send it to the churches. I'm the alpha and the alpha.

[21:52] Write in a book and send it to the seven churches. And then it says that, chapter 2, verse 7. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says.

[22:05] Not to the church. Talking about local. The Spirit speaks to the local churches. Churches, churches. There's a difference between churches and the church. The churches are talking about local churches.

[22:18] The church, most of the time, is talking about the universal church. So, now, here, Bible says that, and great fear fell upon all those.

[22:28] Great fear came upon the church. The church is not a building. The people in the church, because buildings don't fear. Okay. So, it came on.

[22:39] When they said the church, if God is blessing our church, what does that mean? You. Fear came upon the church. That is, you are talking about the local church in Jerusalem.

[22:52] And then, verse 12. And through the hands of the apostles, many signs and wonders were done. And they were all with one accord. Remember Solomon's porch? That's the same place in Acts, chapter 4, where they were preaching and they came to arrest them.

[23:06] They were all in the temple. There's a place called Solomon's porch. It still had some of the structures of the temple Solomon built. The temple had been demolished and another one has been built through the exile and all that.

[23:18] But there were some parts of the temple that still had the old Solomon's temple. And that place is called the Solomon's porch. And they were gathered there. You can see it very clearly.

[23:30] And verse 13 says that none of the rest joined them, but the people esteemed them highly. The people. Say the people. Look at verse 26. The people.

[23:42] Acts 5, 26. Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence. For they feared the people. The people.

[23:54] I spoke about it in one of our previous teachings about the people. So here you can see, the Bible says that the people esteemed them highly. Why? Because of their internal witness.

[24:06] Not only the internal witness. There were miracles happening. So the miracles coupled with their transformed lives. They esteemed their transformed life.

[24:19] And they esteemed their strictness and judgment. Their adherence to what God said they should do. And so the people esteemed them. And verse 13 says that.

[24:32] Verse 13. None of the people. But the people esteemed them very highly. Let's go to verse 14. Verse 14 says, And believers were increasingly added to their Lord.

[24:43] How many of them? How many of them? How many of them? May that be our testimony. In our church, may that be our testimony. Is that multitude?

[24:54] In Acts chapter 6, verse 1 and verse 7. It talks about multitude. When now in the days, when the number of disciples was multiplied. May God multiply us.

[25:05] Amen. And then verse 7. Verse 7 says that. Then the word of God increased. And the number of disciples multiplied. Did you see? Church multiplication is divine order.

[25:15] Yeah. It's the divine order. We have to multiply. But that brings persecution. No church grows without getting the attention of their enemies.

[25:28] Wow. So persecution is inevitable in a growing church. To a growing church. It says that there's who live godly who suffer persecution. So as the church grows, attention will come on us.

[25:41] And people will begin to pick on the church even when it's false. When it's not true. People will begin to attack. Some will do, make it their job. Like every day they will do a live stream to talk against it.

[25:54] Yeah. Most of them is the growing churches and the healthy churches. The churches that are growing that they have appetite for. They will all fizzle out. The church will still be doing well. The church will still be doing well. The church will still be doing well.

[26:06] The church will still be doing well. It's like there's nothing to you but it. Every, all your life is just activity. I'm not saying Christianity. But activity. Church activity. But we hardly see heavy fruits.

[26:16] fruits in transformed lives you are busy doing activities in church busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy it's good to be busy but super busy but minimal evidence of transformed life in people people must point to the way you are active in church it's changed my life right now when people get close to you they leave the church you are not spiritual but if you are not careful you can fall into that I've been in church a little long not too long but a little while and I've seen that sometimes you can be so overzealous and spoiling a lot of things in the church especially when you don't have a family life that's quite strong one so most people who every day you are online I want to talk about the Lord is telling me first of all who is your pastor?

[27:14] where is your church? why don't you go and start from your local church? start making impact in your local church there's more local church representation in the Bible than universal church start from your local church you feel you have a mandate to speak to the body of Christ but people around you can't even feel you people who are around you talk is cheap those who can see your behavior can't follow you that's why you are so big trying to influence people who can't see your behavior don't listen to people who want to talk to you about your Christianity first of all check their local church contribution their local church you must be more interested in that listen you are listening to me I'm before a local church without this local church we won't be streaming we are streaming because I'm serving a local church and the meal is good so let's extend it to people who because of the code cannot come out of their room but it's a local church thing it's a local church this one man sitting somewhere okay put the camera on okay hello guys okay thank you for tuning in comment comment that's what you are feeding on like share subscribe comment like share subscribe comment you are looking for views that's what you are looking for that's why you are so useless in your local church useless as useless as anything the word useless can describe who are you serving in the local church

[28:49] I'm sitting online you are looking for validation and importance but when you are in the local church where no one can see you you say you are one of the top musicians God is raising how come we can't feel it in the local church first how come we can't feel it because if God is raising you to bless the body he will start with where you are if you want God to be behind your lifting give him a reason give him a business reason so before he invests into your life if you are a man of God if you are and you don't have any place to feed and you think you have you have the right to feed others you are not feeding how can you a mother who is not feeding how can she breastfeed you are giving spiritual SMA it's not proper breast milk your ministry your music ministry your online ministry is nido it's not organic it's not organic it's not proper fresh breast that's why it will last this thing it will last that's why you have to pick on people to look relevant useless lack of Christianity useless Christians who cannot be used for the useless for the building of the local church

[30:15] God is a local church God God said I will build my church he is busy building his church don't tear it down don't tear before you try to repair the church build something first up to the church before you pull it down even before they started talking about Ananias and Zafia being removed they spoke about Joseph Barnabas who is a good man they spoke about the good side to build that thing before they removed it praise God and there are a lot of people Bible says that in the last time people will have itchy ears itchy ears some of the things is not there are things I see YouTube I don't click there are some people when you see this person they don't have anything to say they don't have anything to say people are using people are using other people's names and other people's reputations to look for validation so YouTube can pay most of them don't have any good decent jobs that's why now social media has become means to ease you are monetizing it to eat to eat to eat so you have to use other people who already carry weight use their names and say things people want to hear so you can eat maybe it's my work for you but don't use it against the church got that food in your mouth it will turn to acid you can drink blood but not the blood of Jesus do you understand what I'm saying don't use the church as a pawn for your own human carnal ambitions it's too risky it will affect even your family life or any important thing around you will not live to survive health good health don't use the church that way he said can you imagine he resurrected and went and sat at the right hand of majesty waiting till his enemies be made he's waiting for those people like you yeah he said it's in your Bible

[32:29] Jesus Christ resurrected sat at the right hand of the throne of majesty waiting for his enemies to be made his food store he's waiting Hebrews chapter 10 for his enemies to be don't add to his enemies because he'll be crushed under his feet praise God let me add one more point and then we can is someone learning something this church is not for me it's too hot and so multitudes were added to the church in Mark chapter 6 verse 56 talks about how people were brought to the streets this Mark says necessarily about the streets but the same thing happened to Jesus wherever he entered into the villages cities or countries they laid the sick at the marketplaces and bet him that they might just touch the hem of his garments and as many of them it looks very similar they're now in Acts chapter 12 they were bringing the sick from surrounding countries and surrounding regions it says that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall over wow why would they do that because they saw it was working they saw it was working

[33:53] God was doing extraordinary miracles through the apostles and you remember in Acts chapter 19 where he says that aprons and handkerchiefs Acts 19-12 from the body of Paul were sent to the sick and the diseases left aprons and this is I believe that God is bringing that back in the church and we'll see that in our church in Jesus name praise the Lord and they brought the sick people and the same thing Jesus says that you lay hands on the sick Mark chapter 16 verse 18 it says that these signs will follow me so it is not something outside of Jesus' programming it says that they will take up serpents these signs that will follow those who believe they will take up serpents and if they did anything deadly it will by no means hurt them and they will lay hands on the sick and the sick shall recover in Jesus name I see that happening so right quickly verse 17 let's look at verse 17 Acts chapter 5 verse 17 it says that then the high priest rose up and all they that were with him which is the sect of the sun and filled with indignation filled with indignation change that give us a different translation

[35:03] NIV what were they filled with jealousy jealousy jealousy some people who attack some of the great men of God God is using some people is out of jealousy jealousy completely how can one man how can you gather thousands like that what's the point what's the point has he gathered your children and then they go on oh all these people it's all not proper it's just fun fun loving fun seeking all this you haven't been able to gather too with all your anointing you haven't been able to gather too it's not about it's not about it's not about how many people forgetting that to get that number of people there must be something as I grow up I realize that anybody who has pastored or who pastors a growing church or a large church always respects anyone when they are growing a church because church growth church growth is so supernatural

[36:22] I'm wondering some have to travel for one and a half hours in this negative weather we are in the minus this is supernatural it's not a play of intelligence it's not intelligence at work how smart can I be to get someone to leave their house even some of you job your job is paying high you work from home with the weather yeah so really I'm not surprised some people decide to stay home to watch I'm not surprised what I'm surprised how come you didn't stay home knowing that to be streamed how come you didn't stay home God is with you it's supernatural it's supernatural it's so how many of you know it's so cold today the coldest weather in this year the year is 12 days but still that's how the journalists do it they say the coldest weather ever the whole of this year you you are the years yes 12 days but think about it that's why people believers are struggling with you but why do you have to do that you are going again what are you looking for tell them it's supernatural it's the work of

[37:50] God it's the work of God supernatural real church growth is supernatural first supernatural first but some people have appetite in lambasting church growth lambasting church growth I don't like big churches I know you don't like big things but I don't like big churches some people don't like to be part of a big church because they want to control sometimes they want to see when you see our friendliness you think we are loose Sam we are tighter than you could imagine but we are so free we are so nice we're so not hierarchical no restriction free we laugh we laugh we are playful around the gospel and yet our focus is Christ if you try to introduce something anti-Christ you will realize that we are not that friendly praise God so multitudes were added to the church multitudes multitudes were added both male and female

[39:11] I pray that our church will not be only men men men men or only women some places when you go it's like 98 or 95 percent one gender yeah alright before I get the heart run so they were moved with jealousy jealousy say it again jealousy is very dangerous instead of celebrating somebody's wedding all you see is her gown that was not properly sewn at least she's wearing it on a wedding day your own which is properly sewn you are not wearing it acts 13 45 acts 13 45 it says that but when the Jews saw the multitude they were filled with envy jealousy envy give us the

[40:12] American standard or new NIV new international envy they were filled with jealousy jealousy acts 17 verse 5 you see there acts 17 5 but the Jews who were not persuaded became envious I mean the NIV again but the Jews were jealous so all the noise they were making it was fueled by jealousy so sometimes when people are criticizing people check what the motivation is before you jump on the back what they are saying is true sometimes there's truth in it but the motive will mislead you let me show you one more scripture in James about jealousy in James chapter 3 verse 14 you will like this it says that but if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth you have bitter jealousy it's human selfish ambition all this there's self behind it it's not

[41:23] Christ but they behave like it is just Christ I'm thinking about you're lying it's jealousy the Jews were jealous look at verse 16 even more scary verse 16 verse 16 says that for where jealousy and self ambition there is disorder and every evil thing yeah you are sitting online talking like that because of jealousy that's why you are producing evil results in the hearts of people who are listening to you so they used to drink and they got born again they joined a church they stopped drinking they had doing well till they started listening to you they've gone back to drinking and smoking now they've actually added cocaine yeah I'm telling you after listening to you their problems have accentuated wherever there is bitter bitter jealousy it says that where jealousy and selfish ambition exist there is disorder and every evil thing evil thing do you see how far jealousy can create a platform for evil things and most of the time when you are jealous sometimes we cover it up after me

[42:38] I'm just after me I'm just after me I'm just it's not after you you are just you are just jealous you didn't speak out loud until you are not allowed what you wanted amongst them you are in this church and the church was but you were there for a long time jealousy no wonder you are surrounded with evil every evil thing you are now becoming a manufacturer of different shades of evil things but sometimes you can fall in that category and still think as for me I'm clean as for me I'm clean don't judge yourself with your intentions judge yourself with your results so you shall know them by their fruits let your fruits tell us the quality what is actually fueling what you are doing am I preaching I'll end here because I couldn't wait to get to verse 20 and 31 31 is too loaded but we have to finish so the point here today is when the church started it's evangelistic when the church is evangelistic in nature when the miracle started it brought attention for persecution and the attention was fueled by jealousy fueled by people who were supposed to be spiritual leaders but they were spiritual vandals destroying the work of God so we have to be where we have to be where sometimes in our low spiritual states we will begin to tear down the work of God which we intend to build because the work of

[44:21] God cannot be built without spirituality you end up tearing it down praise the Lord God will help us all God will strengthen us all and all of us will move from grace to grace from glory to glory from favour to favour in Jesus name did you receive something thank you for listening to this message by David Entry we pray you have been revived towards God you can connect with David Entry on all relevant social media platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn you can also hear more messages from David Entry on all relevant streaming platforms and the Carish Church app don't forget to like and share the message and be blessed rapport in Eles to be bh energy samarい Anat
