[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every True Revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's Word. May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.
[0:14] In times of fasting like this, it is very healthy to feed your spirit with the Word of God. Both the Word you read from the Scriptures and the Word preached.
[0:35] The Word preached and the Word read must constantly keep flowing. You'll be shocked what God will do. That's what makes your time of prayer more intense.
[0:50] Okay, so it's not actually just the sweating, but it is the state of your spirit. When your spirit is so much in tune and so fed with God, any little time you spend with God is seriously significant.
[1:10] It's a lot. The little time you spend with God is a lot. So take time and nourish your spirit. Take time and feed your spirit by listening to preaching and reading the Word of God.
[1:26] Read it. Some of us, I know life can be very busy. Hello. Sometimes it can be very busy. So I'm not going to tell you, you are not reading. It's not a sin not to read your Bible.
[1:38] Some people didn't know that. It's not a sin not to read your Bible. But you will sin easily when you don't read your Bible. Amen. Psalm 119 verse 11.
[1:50] It said, Thy word have I hid in my heart. Why? So that I will not sin against you. Thy word have I hid in my heart.
[2:02] The storage, the only place the Word of God can be to work in your life. It's not your mind. It's your heart. You read it with your mind, but you assimilate it into your heart.
[2:14] When your heart is open, it goes there and it empowers you. Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you.
[2:26] In the verse 17 and 18, it says that how, verse 18, how can a young man cleanse his ways? How can, wherewithal a man shall cleanse his way?
[2:40] By taking heed thereunto according to your word. The more you heed God's word, the more you can clean your ways. So if you are struggling with temptation, temptation is overcoming you instead of you overcoming temptation.
[2:56] And you don't want to fall. You don't want to be overcome by it keeps overcoming you. It means that, Bible says that if you run in a day of battle, your strength is small.
[3:09] Ecclesiastes 10.10 or so. When your strength is little, when the day of battle comes, you'll be flawed. So, and it says that if the knife, okay, or spreader prover, if you fail in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
[3:26] That's why you are failing. You don't have enough strength. You don't have enough strength. So, when you see a believer fall into temptation, how many of you are falling into temptation kind of unwillingly before?
[3:40] When I say unwillingly, it's always with your will or permission. However, you really didn't want to do it, but it gets to a time, you just couldn't help it. You just couldn't.
[3:50] How many of you understand what I'm talking about? Yeah. So, when you fail, faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. That's why. So, if you nourish yourself through the intake of God's word, it boosts your strength.
[4:08] It gives you upgrade in spiritual strength. So, feet, when you are faint in, it's because of small strength. Because of small strength.
[4:21] Don't come and ask me, brother, pray for me so I'll overcome. Feed yourself, you'll be strong enough to overcome. Praise the Lord. And it says that, I think Ecclesiastes 10.10.
[4:32] If the axe is down and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength. But wisdom is profitable. So, to sharpen your spiritual life, you have to keep bringing the word of God.
[4:47] You are not reading for me. You are reading for yourself. Some of you have a lot of energy, but little spiritual strength. You are full of zeer, but you don't have strength.
[4:59] So, in the way you are making noise, one temptation, one sister shows you her thighs, you fall. You will fall. In spite of the way you are sweating in prayer meeting. Not the whole body, just the thigh.
[5:15] You see a sister's thigh, and you are gone. You see a gentleman, as soon as he sees the beard, he starts.
[5:32] He said, this is my problem. Men with beard. My problem is men with beard. Men with beard. He says, this is your problem. But, you know, when your spirit man is strong, you see Moses.
[5:47] And you'll be moved. You can't even pull the beard. Get out of it. I told you. Yeah. If you are struggling with your lust, check how, what's the intake?
[6:01] What you are feeding on? Because most of us keep feeding on garbage. Garbage. And it's making you look like a spiritual cabbage.
[6:16] Yes. Feeding on things that will not help you. And you are waiting for another prayer meeting to come and sweat. Hey, hey, hey, hey.
[6:27] But you see, you are going to go and sin again. You are sinning in times like this. When fasting, you are sinning. Then when we finish the fasting, what's going to happen? The sin the more.
[6:43] Praise the Lord. I see God strengthening you. May you receive grace to keep bringing in the word of God in Jesus. God bless. Amen. Amen. Amen. A Bible says that physical exercise profits little.
[6:56] 1 Timothy chapter 4, verse 7 and 8. Physical exercise is beneficial. Those of you who don't believe in physical exercise, you are missing on some profit. You are missing on some health profits.
[7:09] For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable unto all things. Having promise of the life that now is and that which is to come. You benefit here and there.
[7:21] Godliness. So, some of you are so disciplined. You spend time eating well. Going to the gym. But you don't read your Bible. You don't read your Bible.
[7:33] All your discipline is to have academic achievements. All your discipline is to look slim in your dress.
[7:44] Summer body. Summer is coming. Yeah. This Christmas. Look at how your original self look like. But summer is coming. People are... It's good. It's good. It's not bad. But I said it's...
[7:55] The profit there is little. Comparatively little. Little. You are so hard working. Look at your account. So beautiful.
[8:06] Because you work hard. You work hard. You work hard and work out. But you don't read your Bible. You don't... There's... You don't...
[8:16] Even when you go to the gym. I realized from my wife. You can be listening to preaching. You can do a lot at the gym. Listening to the... Scatching up with Sunday message. As you are running on the treadmill.
[8:27] You are running. You are running. Feed your spirit. Else...
[8:38] Else... Satan will floor you. Your ex is about to send you a message. Yeah. Tell somebody... Your ex is coming.
[8:49] Build some strength now. Are you listening to me?
[9:01] Yeah. Yeah. It is coming. And before you make a mess of your Christian testimony and feel so embarrassed that you've humiliated your spiritual life.
[9:11] So... The... Somebody is coming your way. Somebody is about to offer you some money you can say no. If you have not fed your spirit.
[9:25] Because after fasting, it can get turbulent. Most times, when you are very sure when you are fasting, Satan realizes that no, this girl is yours. This guy is yours. So, he will just back off a little bit.
[9:38] And he will be waiting. He knows you. He will be waiting. He will be waiting. He will be... Satan has time. Oh, Satan. If you watch safari, when a lion or a tiger is trying to catch an animal, it can wait for hours like this.
[9:53] It will move. Wait without moving. For hours. And Bible says that, 1 Peter chapter 5 verse 8, 7 and 8. Be so much vigilant. For your adversary, like a roaring lion, he's lurking in the shadows.
[10:12] If you don't feed your spirit and you have joined us. Amen. Amen. Amen. When we are not there, what's going to happen to you? What's going to happen to you?
[10:24] So, a lot of the modern day charismatic believers are very empty, including pastors. Very empty. Satan keeps flooring them.
