[0:00] Hallelujah! We thank God you've tuned into this message by David Entry at Caris Church. No hand can help you with the fulfillment of your destiny but the Word of God. May God's hand align you further into your destiny through this Word.
[0:15] One of the reasons why we pray is because there is help in God. As a human being, sometimes you get to a place in your life and you know you need help from God.
[0:31] Is there anyone here who needs help from God? I think that's one of the favorable positions to be in. To know you need God's help.
[0:44] God likes it when we depend on Him. So, anytime you are in a position in your life where you feel you really need God's help.
[0:58] And or you are very desperate. Because if God doesn't do anything, you are in trouble. Psalm 25 verse 1, it said, Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
[1:10] O my God, I trust in you. Let me not be ashamed. And let not my enemies triumph over me. Now, when you can tell your enemies are narrowing in on you.
[1:24] And your back is against the wall and you don't have strength. It is a good place to be to call on the name of the Lord. Jehoshaphat. He says, Lord, we don't have might against these people.
[1:36] And he says, neither do we know what to do. He said, our eyes are on you. What? God said, for real? For real? For real? Second Chronicles chapter 20 from verse 5.
[1:50] He says that they began to pray. He said, our eyes, we don't know what to do. We don't have might against these people. Neither know we what to do. But our eyes are on you.
[2:01] When your eyes are on God, God feels that you are ready to hand over the battle to him. So, most people who God has used mightily and who have seen the power of God at work mightily are people who come to a place where there's no help.
[2:21] And only God. And only God. When you don't have anyone back, only God. You have more than enough. God wants us to depart. He says, Oh, our God.
[2:31] Oh, our God. Will you not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us. Nor do we know what to do.
[2:42] But our eyes are on thee. In Psalm 146, verse 5. He said, If you have the God of Jacob to be your help, it's a blessing.
[2:54] Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help. Because when God is your help, listen, you are not going down. The psalmist says in Psalm 121, verse 1 and 2.
[3:09] I lift up my eyes to the hills. From whence cometh my help? Verse 2 says, My help. Say my help. Say my help. My help. Comeeth from the Lord.
[3:20] Sometimes when you are praying, people who are not in your league must wonder, What is it that you are looking for? You must pray and express yourself like someone whose help is in the Lord.
[3:33] When you are desperately in need for help and you come to a prayer meeting like this, you don't mess about. You don't care who is watching or who is not watching. Because you are determined to take your package of help home from here.
[3:47] And I see somebody is going to grab your package today. To the extent that it says that, Psalm 124, verse 8. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth.
[4:02] Someone say, My help is in the name of the Lord. My help is in the name. Confess it. Say it again. My help is in the name. Say the conviction. My help is in the name. Say it from the bottom of your heart.
[4:14] My help is in the name of the Lord. That's why you will not die prematurely. In the name of Jesus Christ. In Psalm 118, verse 6 and 7.
[4:29] God said that he will even eventually take sides with those who help you. Can you imagine? Verse 6 says that, The Lord is on my side. I will not fear.
[4:39] What can man do? We quoted this scripture a few days ago. Look at the next verse. The Lord takes my path with them that help me. Now, when God is helping you, people who choose to help you, God helps them.
[4:53] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He actually takes the path of those who help you. People who decide to help you. People who decide to speak in your favor.
[5:03] Suddenly, God opens the door for them to be promoted. Because they are... See, when God is your help, when God is on your side, people who choose to help you get help.
[5:17] What do you do for God to be on your side to help you? Pray. We are about to pray again. And you are going to pray about this. I don't know what you need help from God for.
[5:31] But every one of us here, you need help for something. Some of us, we need help for ministry. Some of us, we need help for your family. Some of us, we need help for your children.
[5:43] Some, we need help for your grandchildren. Some of you, we need help for your education. Some of us, you need help for your finances. Some of us, we need help for your marriage.
[5:55] Because, you have developed an interest in this boy, but you are not sure. or develop your interest in this girl. You are not sure, but you are confused. God must help you. If you're a woman and you marry the wrong person, you'll be so sad.
[6:12] The rest of your life, you'll be very sad. If you're a woman, it is very dangerous for you to be a woman to marry the wrong person.
[6:25] It is sad. You will even end up turning your children against him. Yeah. Now, if you're a man and you marry the wrong person, your destiny has been sacrificed.
[6:36] Yeah, you will never do well in life with the wrong woman, especially ministry. Ministry. So those of you young men who want to do ministry and you're last, you are choosing a wife based on your last.
[6:48] Young men, listen to me. If you want to do ministry, seek help before you choose. Seek help. Don't choose by their side because you can get it wrong.
[7:03] If you want to buy a good car, you need to talk to a mechanic. Don't focus on their sales agents. They are fake. If you want, you don't want to miss it in marriage.
[7:17] All potential ladies you want to marry, they are all in sales. You need to come to auto mechanics like us. You need someone spiritual who has married and got the rights and is still doing ministry.
[7:35] You need help because when you are young, you don't understand what marriage is. A very frustrating journey. It looks like almost a very bad thing. Marriage. I'm telling you, it looks like almost a very bad thing.
[7:49] Especially if you get it wrong. You need help. Tell somebody, I really need a lot of help. The truth is, there are some people standing here and you are already married.
[8:03] And now you can't breathe. You need help. But God can answer your prayer. Yes. God will answer. No, he can't. He's interested.
[8:14] This is one of the things about God. He's interested in answering prayers. That's what makes him God. He's actually interested in answering prayers. So you want to pray about your career, about your marriage, about your health, about your hair, which is depleting.
[8:32] If it causes you concern, pray about it. About your family, your sister, your brother. Okay, you want to pray. When we start praying, pour out your heart. Be like Hannah. Expect that you'll come back with a testimony.
[8:45] And you'll share a testimony. Hannah came and shared a testimony. So when they are praying, they don't plan to share testimony. There are people who have sat on your testimony. You've told God enough.
[8:57] Oh yes. When you sit on your testimony, you tell God enough. Don't do anymore because it's all about me. Any answer God, any prayer God answers is not about you.
[9:07] It's about him and his glory. When he say, when he pray, our father was in heaven. How did he end? For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. There's never a season where the glory be to anyone.
[9:20] So when you pray, you are supposed to have in mind that God will return and bring you the glory. Like Hannah did. But there are people standing here who in a matter of days, in a matter of weeks, in a matter of months, you're going to come back here with the testimony.
[9:39] I say you're going to come back here with your testimony in the name of Jesus. Please lift up your hands and your voice and begin to pray to God.
[9:49] Talk to him. If you want to kneel down, you can kneel down. Lie down, you can lie down. If you want to stand, you can sit. If you want to sit, you can sit. But make sure you are asking God for help. Mention it to God.
[10:00] Ask God for help. Ask God for help. I have no other God but you. Help me, Lord. You have done what no man can do.
[10:12] Help me, Lord. I petition heaven. Bible says he's able to do our petition. We know that whatever petition we ask him, he's able to do. He will do it.
[10:23] Ask God for help. Ask God for help to overcome temptation. Ask God for help. To overcome satanic oppression. Ask God for help. To remain consistent.
[10:34] Ask God for help. That this year, you will not miss any service. You will not miss church. Ask God for help. In your business.
[10:48] Ask God for help for your business. In the court case. Ask God for help. Regarding that immigration issue.
[10:59] Ask God for help. Kadabababa. Kadabababa. Kadabababa. With that case. That situation with the bank. That situation with your dissertation. That situation with your school.
[11:11] The condition. The issue with the GP. Ask God for help. Ask God for help. healthier people. Ask God for help. Ask God for help. You will not miss you. It will not be fit.
