[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every true revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's Word. May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.
[0:14] Two major things that happen when we are in a prayer meeting like this to people who are praying. Number one, the prayer request you present to God.
[0:26] But there's a high potential that God will answer you. And how soon he answers has a lot to do with his agenda, has a lot to do with your maturity and preparedness, and has a lot to do with other people he has a plan for.
[0:50] So sometimes the answers might not come instantly. So when we pray, answers come. Sometimes the answers might not come instantly. So in a prayer like this, if the prayer is not ungodly, God will answer it.
[1:06] But not in our time, but in his time. When Lazarus was sick, they sent for Jesus to come in their time. He didn't mind them. He didn't go in their time.
[1:17] He went in his time, and his time was perfect. All right. So when we pray like this, God answers prayer. Number two, second thing that happens in them, prayer meeting like this.
[1:29] Sometimes it's not about answering the prayer, but it's about you changing. Something is changing in you without you realizing. You are becoming more of God than you ever could plan.
[1:41] Because the more, if you sit in a car of a smoker, very soon you'll be smelling like a smoker.
[1:52] It's a secondhand smoker. Because of your exposure, where you are. So if you are in a prayer atmosphere like this, especially when children are in atmosphere like this, it does something to them beyond the intellect.
[2:08] Because he said in Matthew 18, that where two or three are gathered in my name. He said, if I'm not anywhere in the world, where they gather, I am there.
[2:22] Matthew 18, 20. Where they gather. So it is usually called the Shekinah glory. So when we gather, there is a presence here, which you won't see, you won't realize.
[2:34] But the more you are exposed to that presence, something is happening. You know, sometimes even sicknesses that are in your body, that you are not aware of.
[2:46] Exposure to the presence has a way of melting them out of your system. So that's why if you are doing this for 180 days or 85 days or 40 days, it is worth it.
[3:01] Because it's not just answering of prayer, but imbibing of a presence. So then there are certain sicknesses that doctors were supposed to diagnose.
[3:14] They will never get a chance to diagnose. Why? Because the Shekinah glory in the book of Psalm 90 something, it said, in your presence, mountains and hills, they melt away like wax.
[3:28] See? So like wax. You see, kind of wax. It will melt. It says that hills melt like wax. Where? At the presence.
[3:38] At the presence of the Lord of the whole. So hills, mountains, obstacles in your way. They are melting without you. Right? Why? Because you are in His presence.
[3:52] So the presence, that is the job without you knowing that He's doing the job. When you go and lie in the sun, you get what? Turned.
[4:02] Why? Exposure to the sun is doing something to you. So when you expose yourself in an atmosphere like this, it's not only desperate.
[4:15] That's why, guys, those of you who are young and under 30, I'm telling you, you are in the biggest opportunity of your life. Two things that are happening here.
[4:26] A presence, you are being influenced by an unseen presence. Not in the intellectual realm, but in the spirit. There's an atmosphere. Some of you, one day, you'll be put on a spot to preach and you'll be shocked that things are coming out of you.
[4:44] Because you have, Jesus called them not to preach. He called them to hang around Him. Mark chapter 3 verse 14. He called them to be with Him.
[4:57] Then, before He would send them. He called them that He might be. The appointed of that day might. The being with Him does more to you.
[5:07] than just running with trying to find what He say and run with it. He never send them immediately. He said, come and spend time with me. You remember the story I was even preaching recently of 1 Samuel chapter 9 particularly.
[5:21] God wanted to make Saul a king. And He told Samuel, tomorrow, I'm going to... Israel is asking for a king. I'm not happy about that. I'm supposed to be their king. But He asked, I'm going to give them a king.
[5:33] But He said, tomorrow, I will send you a man. You can't imagine. God told him, I'm sending somebody to you. And then He said, tomorrow, at this time, I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin.
[5:46] And you, 1 Samuel chapter 9, and you shall anoint him, commander over my people Israel, that he may save my people from the hand of the philipon. For I have looked upon my people because they cried to me.
[6:01] So I'm going to send somebody to you. He told the prophet. Then in the morning, the boy wakes up. His father's donkey was missing. He didn't have any plan to do God's work.
[6:15] Like to be a king. He didn't have any. It wasn't his choice. It was God's choice. In the morning, he woke up. Donkeys were missing. And they were... The donkeys that were missing was the prime price precious.
[6:29] They were missing. And so Dad said, Saul, you can't find the donkeys. He said, how? Dad, no. We have to get them. He said, Saul, are you sure?
[6:40] We can find... Okay, I'm going to get them. Get me one of the servants because it's not good to go alone. And he went to the servant for three days. They couldn't...
[6:50] God has hidden donkeys. God didn't steal, but he hijacked. He kidnapped... Wow. God kidnapped the donkeys. Not physically.
[7:02] The donkeys were gone. They were gone. They were gone. Without a trace. And so he went looking for the donkeys. After three days, he said, we have to go home.
[7:15] He told, it's good to have some people around you, you know. Yeah. They're telling you, no, no, no. I know you are telling you, let's go to church. Let's go to church. Those are the kind of friends you should make from.
[7:26] So the servant said, no, we can't go. There is a seer. He can see things. Because we need these donkeys.
[7:36] That's why we spent all these three days. But Saul said, we don't have anything to go to see him. Because, you see, they see the difference between why he could be king and the guy was a servant.
[7:48] It's the certain leadership mindset. You don't go before a prominent person, empty-handed. So he said, we can't go to the seer without anything. But the servant said, no, I have something with me.
[8:02] Let's take it. Meanwhile, God has told the prophet, you see the way God can send people? Oh, you didn't hear what I said. You see how God sends people?
[8:13] He never heard any voice, go left, go right, tomorrow, no. All he had was an experience of missing donkeys who could not be found. And he went.
[8:23] They went. When they went, they saw the man of God. The man of God. They said, we are looking for the man of God. He was the one who. He said, ask for the donkeys you are looking for.
[8:36] He said, go and I'll tell you what is in your heart. Ask for the donkeys that you are looking for. They have missing. They have been found. God was trying to get them to meet that man of God.
[8:50] So he kept the donkeys. And they struggled, struggled, struggled. Finally, when they started looking for the man of God, they got to the man of God. The donkeys were released. He said, the donkeys have been found.
[9:03] So God, let me use it in the loose sense, hijacked donkeys so he can capture his servants. And he kept, the man went, and this is what the point I'm trying to make.
[9:20] He said, the prophet said, ask for your donkeys, they were lost three days ago. That was, that was lost three days ago. Do not be anxious about them, for they have been found.
[9:34] They have been found. Why did they go to the prophet? Find out where the donkeys are. The prophet says, so what should happen naturally? Okay, thank you. They didn't ask the prophet what they wanted.
[9:47] The prophet said, you go down to the city and wait for me. I'm coming. But the donkeys have been found. And tomorrow, he said, tomorrow. Why not now? Tomorrow, I will tell you what is on your heart, not your mind.
[10:01] Donkeys are on your mind. But destiny is knocking in your heart. Ecclesiastes chapter 3, I think verse 11 or so.
[10:12] He said, he has put eternity in their hearts. Oh, yes. God, he made all things beautiful. He has put eternity not on their minds, in their hearts.
[10:25] The prophet said, tomorrow. But why don't you say it now? He said, you have to have dinner with me. When you're dying with people, that's why Jesus was always eating with these people.
[10:40] When you're dying with people, you catch what is on their heart. You catch what they carry when you're dying with people.
[10:52] And the prophet said, come, dying with me. Tomorrow, I will tell you what's on your heart and I will let you go. Why did he keep him? He needed that environment. So when you come to a prayer meeting like this, it's not just about answer prayer.
[11:06] Some people, if you get the prayer now, you won't come back. If you get the answer now, we won't see you again. Apart from Sunday, you show up. Hello, God, thank you. Then you go. And so the donkeys must remain missing for three days.
[11:22] They need to be missing. So what is the point? In prayer meetings like this, God answers prayers, one. And prayer meetings like this, God builds people for your destiny.
[11:34] You are built up in an atmosphere like this. So don't take it lightly when you are absenting yourself. Don't make it easy to be absent.
[11:49] So don't only come because there is a need. But you come because God is working on you. God is working. Here a little, there a little.
