[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every True Revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's Word. May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.

[0:13] As my customers, permit me to take two minutes, or three minutes, to talk about what I say I will preach on. How to hear. Let me just introduce.

[0:24] Let's start. One, God is a God of dispensations. So, there have been different dispensations.

[0:35] What do we mean by dispensation? The way and manner in which God deals with the people at a particular period of time in history. Okay, so how God was dealing with people.

[0:47] So, that's why Israel could go for war. And God said, kill everybody. Do this. It was a dispensation. Now, it's a different dispensation. So, God doesn't instruct Israel to go for war and kill everybody.

[1:02] So, in those dispensations, all of us, God doesn't have anything with us. He doesn't talk to us because we are Gentiles apart from Israel. So, like, there are dispensations. Now, let me, theologically, we have the Adamic dispensation, and then we have the Noahic, the Abrahamic covenant, Adamic covenant, Abrahamic covenant, Noahic covenant, and Mosaic, and all that.

[1:31] But then, when we're talking about real dispensation, we're talking about the times where Hebrews chapter 1 verse 1 says, God. All right. All right.

[1:41] God, who in sundry times. It's nice how Hebrews starts with God. The first word in Hebrews is what?

[1:52] God, who in sundry times, not sundry times, sundry times. In the times past. Give us a new James, please. God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to our fathers by the prophets.

[2:11] Okay. So, in those days, if you read the Bible very carefully, who did God speak to when he wanted to speak to Abraham? How did God got Abraham?

[2:25] He spoke to him directly. How about Noah? How about Adam? Jacob. So, God spoke to them directly.

[2:36] So, there was a dispensation when God was dealing with individuals directly. Directly comes to you directly. Then, from that dispensation, we came to when God was speaking to Israel as his people.

[2:50] So, God was dealing with a group of people. His people. And so, it's not just one person. He was dealing with them as a people. That's the different dispensation.

[3:02] Then, we come into the New Testament dispensation when it moves from just an ethnic group to worldwide church. So, the church is made up of different ethnicities.

[3:13] All nations. All tongues. In Revelations 5, verse 9. Yeah. Verse 9. For saying, You have got from every tribe and tongue and people and nations.

[3:26] So, it's not only a group of people. It's just open. Do you understand what I'm saying? Yeah. So, in the church age, in a church dispensation, God speaks to all of us.

[3:38] He speaks. But, one of the common things that you notice, whether it's one-on-one or one to a group, go to an ethnic group, or, I can call it race, or go to the church, is always a God who speaks.

[3:54] The only way you can deal with God, and God can deal with you, is speaking. So, Jesus said in John chapter 10, verse 3, that, talking about the good shepherd, to him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice.

[4:15] Verse 4. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

[4:27] It is fundamental to hear his voice. Listen, your ability to hear from God, or God's voice, is what will determine what blessing you walk in.

[4:41] Jeremiah chapter 7, verse 23, 24. But this is what I commanded them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people, and walk in all my ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.

[4:59] How can you obey the voice you can't hear? So, in the first thing, you have to obey his voice, or hear his voice, so you can't obey. Look at the next verse. The next verse says that, Yet, they did not obey or incline their ear.

[5:14] But followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts, and went backwards, and not forward. Everybody's supposed to go forward, though.

[5:26] But, if you miss God's voice, you'll be going backwards. You are standing on an escalator. Your face is towards up, but you're still going down.

[5:36] You're going down. You're going down. How many of you have been in a lift before, and you are going fifth floor? You join the lift on the third floor, and it started taking you to basement. You have to hear God's voice to go up.

[5:56] Exodus 19, 6. And you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and holy nations. Let's start from verse 5.

[6:07] Verse 5. Now, therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my commandments, then you shall be a special treasure to me above all people, for all the earth is mine.

[6:18] You have to hear and obey his voice. It's crucial. The quality of blessing you can walk in has everything to do with your hearing of God's voice.

[6:33] Hearing God's voice. So, everybody's prayer is, it must be, God, open my ears. Circumcise my ears. Sanctify my ears. Sanctify. Exodus 15, verse 26.

[6:46] And said, If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which are brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals thee.

[7:08] He said, If you diligently heed, heed, heed. When I was growing, when you are stubborn, they pull your ears. Can't you hear? Can't you hear?

[7:19] Can't you hear? They can't pull it for it to be read. Yes. Deuteronomy chapter 28, verse 1. Deuteronomy chapter 28, verse 1. It says that now it shall come to God.

[7:30] If you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God to observe carefully all his commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations on the earth.

[7:41] And all this to end. And all these blessings come upon you and overtake you because you obeyed the voice. What if you don't hear the voice? You obeyed.

[7:53] It's your biggest advantage and your biggest asset in life is the voice of God you hear. Your biggest asset in life is the voice of God you hear.

[8:05] Verse 15. But it shall come to pass if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God. To observe carefully all his commandments and his studies which I command you today.

[8:16] That all these curses. You see, the difference between curses and blessings is all attached to the voice of God we obeyed. So if you do not obey the voice, all these curses will come upon you.

[8:29] That will not be your portion. Amen. Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry. We pray you have been revived to all's God. You can connect with David Entry on all relevant social media platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn.
