[0:26] 9. Let's go to 9 and 10. So, the Bible says, this is interesting. Let's all read it out loud from the screen. Let's go. To the intent, but now, on the specific policies and powers in heavenly places, might be learned by the church, the mind of the wisdom of God.
[0:46] What gets my attention is to the intent. Everything God does has an intention behind it. Even when you go through some difficult times, if God is with you, it has an assignment.
[1:00] Your bad moments, if God is with you, have an assignment. Preparing you for your good moments. When God is with you, no season is wasted.
[1:13] Bible says that to the intent. To the intent that now, in the past, the principalities, that's what I was going to say.
[1:27] I like this so much. I hope you are listening to me. Watch this. This is so nice. God has always had a plan to put...
[1:43] God likes doing a lot of habits. Show. This place. Or, better still, the word I'm looking for is exhibition.
[1:54] So, when Jesus Christ came on earth, he was the exhibition of God. So, John 1, verse 18 says that...
[2:05] It says that no one has seen the Father at any time, but the only begotten of the Father, he has exhibited him. That Greek word translated, he had declared him, is exhibited him.
[2:18] He has demonstrated him. He has put God on display. Right? So, Bible says that God demonstrates... Romans, chapter 5, verse 8. God demonstrated his love towards us in this way.
[2:33] That when we were yet sinners, it was a demonstration. Demonstration. God likes to put on display. When Jesus went to the grave and he resurrected, Bible said he made an open show.
[2:48] Colossians, chapter 2, verse 14 and 15. He made an open show. Of principalities. The Bible says that he disarmed principalities. And he made a public spectacle of them.
[3:01] Triumphing over them. Watch this. This is even nice. Triumphing over them in his death. In death, he went to die to make a show of them.
[3:12] God likes to put on display. His love, his goodness, his power, his glory, his might, and his wisdom.
[3:26] So, when you are sick, it gives God opportunity, if you are working with him. And if it's part of his intent, sorry, intent, to put on display his healing power.
[3:38] In John chapter 9, verse 1 and 2. There was a blind man and the disciples asked Jesus Christ.
[3:49] Because it was a common knowledge which was true. That sometimes the sicknesses are preceded by sins. Or the causes of sicknesses can be seen.
[4:02] So, in Psalm 103, he said, bless the Lord, who forgives your iniquities and heals all your diseases.
[4:14] So, there usually is a correlation between sicknesses and sins. So, Jesus heals somebody and he tells him, go and sin.
[4:26] John chapter 5, I think 14, somewhere there. He said, go and sin no more. Why? Lest a worse thing comes upon you.
[4:37] He said, verse 14. I've heard Jesus say, you have made no sin no more. Lest a worse thing come. So, sin can open the door for sicknesses.
[4:48] Sin can open the door for sicknesses to invade in people's lives. Now, watch this. So, they asked Jesus, master, who sinned that this man was born blind?
[5:07] If you say his experience, that's not fair. Because it's not him. Not his parents have sinned and look out. Why should God do that? So, they asked him, who sinned? Master, who did sin?
[5:19] This man or his parents that he was born blind? Oh, I like Jesus' answer. He says, is there none of them? But this sickness is for their display. Hallelujah.
[5:32] Jesus said, neither has this man sinned nor his parents. But that the works of God should be. Do you see it manifest there? God likes to display.
[5:42] I am not saying every problem is God-induced or God-caused. God never causes problems. Because Satan is the problem-causer of life.
[5:57] So, what I'm trying to say is that there are some problems that God may allow. He didn't cause them. But he may allow so he can display his sickness. Another example.
[6:07] In John chapter 11, it was told Jesus, in the verse 3 somewhere there, that Lazarus, the one whom you love, is sick.
[6:20] That's the message I was praying. This sounds like an oxymoron. It just puts you in a corundrum. It says, Jesus, behold, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest.
[6:34] It says, how can that go together? The one you love is sick. How can the two go together? If God loves you so much, why is it that you don't have money? If God loves you so much, why is it that things are so bad?
[6:47] That's human question. Why is it that? Why sometimes it looks like there's no consistency with the character of God reflecting in what you're going through.
[6:57] If God loves me, where are all his miracles? If God is with me, why am I in this stage? If God cares about me, why? Why? Why? So that him who thou lovest is sick.
[7:11] Now look at Jesus' answer. Jesus said, when Jesus said, he said, this sickness. This sickness is not unto death, but that the glory of God will be on display.
[7:27] Hallelujah. That the glory of God. That the Son of God might be glorified. That word thereby is by it. By somebody's sickness, God's Son will be glorified.
[7:45] It takes Lazarus, but it wasn't only them. Look at this. This sickness. Let's read from that part.
[7:56] Let's go. This sickness is not unto death. One more time. This sickness is not unto death. One more time. This sickness is not unto death. Please do me a favor.
[8:06] Read it louder. This sickness is not unto death. Shout it. This sickness is not unto death. Say, this sickness. Which one? The one we are dealing with. They said, Lazarus, he said, this sickness is not unto death.
[8:20] Really? And so what did he do? Look at verse 5. Now, Jesus loved Martha and his sister and Lazarus. And what happened? When he had that thought he was sick, he stayed even.
[8:32] The one you care about who is sick, you stay two days. You should have gone early. But you stayed two days longer. Two days. And after two days, look at him.
[8:44] He told the disciple, Lazarus, our friend, is asleep. Let's go. Let me wake up. He said, do we have to travel from here to Manchester to wake somebody from there? From birth? From sleep? If he's asleep, he'll wake up.
[8:56] Then Jesus said, okay. I know I said the sickness is not unto death. So somebody can quickly go online and say, Jesus is not true prophet. He said he's not unto death.
[9:08] The guy died. The guy died. But he said it's not unto death. Jesus said it's not unto death. Now he said that Lazarus, look at it. He said, our friend Lazarus is sleeping.
[9:20] Our friend? Then they didn't understand. He said, Lazarus, our friend, is dead. He said plainly. Listen. Lazarus, morte. Lazarus, a morte.
[9:34] A morte. Lazarus is dead. How do you reconcile it with what you just said earlier on that two days ago? This sickness. This not unto death. And you know, when he got in the, I think the verse 23 or 26, 7.
[9:52] They said, could this man. In fact, Lazarus' sister said, Martha said. Lord. Verse 24. If you had been here. 21 rather.
[10:03] If you had been here. My brother would not die. I've died. My brother had not died if you had been here. But Jesus already said this signal is unto death.
[10:13] But he's dead. If you had been here. Mary also comes and meets. I think there was 28, 29. Some were there. Jesus. And he said the same thing. If you had been here.
[10:26] My brother would not have died. Fell on the way around the street and said. Lord. If thou had been here. My brother would not have died. Because he should have come and lived.
[10:36] But he stayed two days more. But he said he laughed last night. He stayed two days more. He should have come and lived. Because we know. If he had been here. And why were they saying that? You hear from what people were saying online.
[10:49] People online said. That could this. When he wept in verse 36. Could this man. Verse 36. Could this man. Verse 37. And some said.
[11:00] Could not this man who opened the eye of the blind. Have caused. A cause that even this man should not have died. People knew it. Yes. That he opens.
[11:12] Listen. The opening of the blind is not a normal miracle. The first time ever seen. Since the world was created. Was when Jesus said that this man's sickness.
[11:23] Is not because of his father's sin. Or his mother's sin. But that the glory of God will be manifested. That's the first time the eye of a blind will be opened. So when John the Baptist sent to ask Jesus Christ.
[11:33] Are you the one to come? Matthew chapter 11. He said go ahead and tell him the blind see. The blind see is a messianic miracle. Only the messianic can make the blind see. Oh yes.
[11:45] Oh yes. Oh yes. Oh yes. So he said go ahead and tell John the Baptist. That the lepers are clear. The blind receive their sight. The spirit.
[11:56] You know John chapter 4 verse 6. The spirit of the Lord is anointed for me. For he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. To heal the broken hearted. To heal the broken hearted.
[12:08] To deliverance to the captives. The recovery of sight to the poor. To the blind. Recovery of sight. It's part of the manifesto of the Messiah. He's the only one who could open blind.
[12:20] So when the people saw Lazarus there. They said this man. Who opens the blind. What sickness can't he heal? If he had come and the problem is he stayed two days further.
[12:31] That's the. To the people. That's where the problem is. To the people. That was where the problem is. That's where the problem is. But Jesus had said.
[12:43] That this sickness. Is not. Unto death. That means Lazarus. This is not the death sickness. That will. Kill Lazarus. And take him out of this world.
[12:54] This one. It was just making him. Be used as. Because Jesus loved himself. Okay. I think I will use you. I will use you. I love you so much. Your family is.
[13:04] It's going to be special. You're going to be popular. Okay. I'll use you. Use them to show. His power. Of the resurrection. So really. It was you unto death. Because he said. He didn't say it was you unto death.
[13:16] He said it was not unto death. But that. The son of man might be glorified. So. The sickness. However it ends up. It's supposed to bring glory to. But that's not how Lazarus will exit this earth.
[13:27] The Lazarus died. Yes he died. Did we hear about it? It wasn't necessary. Because everybody dies. But that's what. It was not the way. It's going to exit the world. Because that sickness.
[13:38] God was going to high jack it. To display. His glory. Now do you understand where I'm going? And so God likes. He has displayed his resurrection power.
[13:48] He has displayed his glory. He has displayed his healing power. There's one thing that God. There's no way God can display properly. Except through the church. That is the manifold wisdom of God.
[14:01] So now God said. The only way. I can let principalities. Powers. And the cosmic authorities. And cosmic observers.
[14:12] To see. By wisdom. Is to raise a church. So he says. To the intent. That now.
[14:24] Finally. Someone say finally. Finally. Say finally. Finally. So God sat in heaven. When Jesus resurrected from the dead. And the Holy Ghost came upon the apostles. God said. Yes. Now. They will see my wisdom.
[14:37] Because in previous ages. There was no way God's wisdom could be displayed. Is that one lining something? To be honest. I'm really enjoying this thing so much. I'm enjoying this thing so much.
[14:49] The word of God is so sweet. Isn't it? Oh yes. To the intent. God has an objective. Now. Let me take you a little bit back. It's not nice to keep going back.
[15:00] But sometimes. It actually throws more light. In going forward. Even though we've spoken about. Practically everything behind us. But it says that. God.
[15:12] Verse 5. Talks about how. Some things were hidden in God. Which in other ages. Were not made known. Unto the sons of men. As is now being revealed. To his holy. Apostles and prophet.
[15:23] By the spirit. Of which. The 6. The 6. That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs. Of the same body. Particular of the promise of God. Of which I became a minister.
[15:35] A servant. Whereof I was made a minister. According to the. To the gift of the grace of God. Given unto me. By the effectual working of his power. That me. Who am less than the least of the saint.
[15:48] Unto me. Who is less than the least of all the saint. Is this grace given. That I should preach the. Unsearchable riches. Of Christ. Verse 9. Look at what he said.
[15:59] And to make all men see. What is the fellowship of this hidden thing. This mystery. Which from the beginning of the world. Has been hid in God. Who created all things by Jesus.
[16:11] He created all things. And hid something. He put something inside. Hid it in himself. No one. Prophets were prophesying. But no one knew about it. No one. Why? He said to the intent.
[16:23] He hid it. Because. He was waiting. For the appropriate time. To display it. And show his wisdom. To the intent.
[16:33] He hid it. To the intent. That. Now. Finally. The hour has come. The hour has come. The hour has come. Ladies and gentlemen.
[16:45] Behold the bride. Then we hear. No. That's. The other way.
[17:05] It looks like you are ready to marry. Yeah. That's it. Play like it. You don't even know it. Ah.
[17:15] God. God.
[17:27] God. The angels announced. Behold. The bride. Now. We can show for the bride. So then. The church. Appears.
[17:38] And the principalities. And powers. In heavenly places. They look into the church. They saw even people who are sleeping when you are preaching. They saw male.
[17:54] And female. All gloriously. Tune together. As one entity. Jews. And. And. Jews. And Gentiles.
[18:05] Together. Together. In one body. And. In the past. You can never have different races to team up to be one. It's. Difficult to mix races.
[18:16] It's difficult to mix the cultures. It's difficult to mix integrate the communities. Even in UK. It was difficult to integrate the postcodes. It is not natural to have an integration that is so seamless.
[18:32] It looks very perfectly one like that's how it's always been. How did God achieve this? They look from. Down. And they can see what we don't see.
[18:43] And they look at. You are just seeing church. But they are seeing a church. That is a manifestation of the complicated wisdom of God. They keep watching.
[18:55] They keep watching. And they are saying. Wow. Wow. Wow. Cosmic observers. Universal observers. They are watching from above.
[19:06] They are watching from every angle. Because they understand human behavior. Because they don't die. They've been generation to generation. But they never saw this coming. And they said.
[19:17] God. This one. May you be God. May you be God. Bible says that. We. We speak.
[19:28] The wisdom. Of God. Which has been ordained. For our group. First Corinthians. Chapter 2. Verse 7. It said. Nevertheless. Because it says that. Verse 4.
[19:38] It says. We preach. We do not come to you. A thousand words of man's wisdom. Verse 5. It says that. So your faith will not rest. In the wisdom of man. But the power of God.
[19:50] Verse 6. How be it. We speak wisdom. Among those who are spiritually matured. That's. Among the. Yet. Not the wisdom of this world.
[20:02] But. Not the princes of this world. Of the prince of this world. That comes. The wisdom they operate within this world. Always come to a dead end. It's a cool. The sack type of wisdom.
[20:13] It doesn't take you through a tunnel. You will always be stuck somewhere. When you preach your life. Just by the wisdom of this world. You always come to a stanza somewhere. Whether academia.
[20:24] Whether entertainment. Whether politics. Whether family. Whether medicine. There will always be a dead end. That beats our minds. We've done everything. We've come to a dead end.
[20:37] Politicians are still strumbling. Scrumbling to change laws. Amend laws. Laws that. Why haven't they finished law of making? Because every time something develops. I'm telling fraud departments.
[20:47] Or banks are always being trained. Yes. Because the fraudsters are always a step ahead. Yes. So they'll do something. They know that we have covered all loopholes. Then later they realize there's another issue.
[20:58] Because the wisdom of men. Come to a knot. But not the wisdom of God. So he says that. We speak the wisdom of God. In a mystery. Even the.
[21:09] Hidden wisdom of God. Which God ordained before the world began. To our glory. Ordained it to our glory.
[21:23] You can't talk about the wisdom of God. Without looking at the church. When you look at the church. It gives you a proper estimation.
[21:34] Proper understanding. Of the wisdom of God. God has been looking for opportunity. To display his wisdom. He can display his healing power. Without the church.
[21:45] He can display his miracle working of power. Without the church. When Jesus came. He could even open the eye of the blind. Without the church. He could display his resurrection power.
[21:58] By calling Lazarus out of the grave. Without a church. He could display. God could cause the Red Sea to open.
[22:08] For the children of Israel. To walk on dry ground. In the midst of the sea. Without a church. He could display how he can raise.
[22:20] A childless man. And make him the father of nations. He could display all that. But there's one thing he couldn't put on display. Outside of church. It's his multifarious.
[22:32] Multificeted. Manifold wisdom. The hidden wisdom of God. Hallelujah. So God was waiting for a time. When Jesus would resurrect from the dead.
[22:45] And effect the resurrection power. In the lives of men. To give them the life of God. And all of them. Move them together. To form a complicated entity.
[22:56] Called the church. It's not straightforward. That's why there are so many churches. There are so many denominations. Because the whole thing is a very complicated thing. So it's very easy for one group of people.
[23:09] To only have an understanding on this. And another group of people. But because the whole thing is super complicated. But it can be simplified.
[23:19] When we walk with God by his spirit. He said in 1 Corinthians. As we are reading. He says that. No man knows what is in a man. Save the. Verse 10. Save the.
[23:30] Oh shut. I feel like preaching. He said that. Save the spirit. No. No. Verse 11. Verse 11. Quickly.
[23:41] For what man knows the things of a man. Save the spirit of the man which is inside. Even so. The things of God knoweth no man. But the spirit of God. And then he says that.
[23:53] And we have received. Verse 9. Now we have received. We have received. Not that. So there is the spirit of the world. That's not what we have received. But the spirit of God.
[24:06] That we might know the things that are freely given to us. Which things we speak. And we. Which things we speak. Not in the words.
[24:17] Which man's wisdom teach. But with the. With the Holy Ghost teach. Comparison. There's man's wisdom. You go to school to learn it. But when it comes to the matters of the church.
[24:28] It's not about schooling. It's about spirit. The spirit of God dwells in. It's the spirit of God is upon me. That is what gives you the ability. To be able to bring out.
[24:40] Into the display. The wisdom of God. Which has been embedded in the church. To the intent. That now. Ephesians chapter 3 verse 10.
[24:51] To the intent. That now. To the intent. That now. To the intent. Ephesians chapter 3. To the intent. Verse 10. That now. Unto the principalities.
[25:03] And powers. Where? In heavenly places. This is not normal human beings. We are talking about entities. Entities with our bodies. Personalities with our bodies.
[25:15] In heavenly places. Might be made known. By. Yes. Hallelujah. By the church.
[25:27] They are complicated. Look. Amplified. The manifold. The many sided. The. It is. It is. The. That through the church. The complicated.
[25:38] Many sided. Wisdom. Of God. In all. Its. Infinite. Variety. And. Innumerable. Aspects. Might be.
[25:48] Oh. This is good. This is good. This is good. This is good. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. That's God's purpose. For keeping this thing hidden in the ages.
[26:02] That Paul now is supposed to be the preachers are now to preach it. And as we preach it. It's unfurlsable. Because the more you hear preaching. The more you begin to become like Christ. The more you are being fed.
[26:15] The more Christ is growing in you. The more Christ grows in you. The more the wisdom of God is being displayed. Through your life. Is that to the intent. The purpose is that through the church.
[26:26] The complicated. It's very complicated. It's not straightforward. Many. It has different sides. Many. Many. Many sides. Wisdom of God. In its.
[26:37] In. All. Its. Infinite. Variety. That's a serious word. Infinite. Variety. You go to places where they sell ice cream.
[26:48] They have several varieties. But not infinite. Yes. Not infinite. How many of you know there are so many varieties of fashion styles.
[27:01] Design. Clothings. They are different. Different. Not brands. I mean styles. And necks are sold. And the suits have different. They are suits. They are different types of suits.
[27:11] Then when you come to blouse. Tops. They are different types of tops. They have different varieties. Varieties of clothes. Some are coats. Some are leather jackets. Some are fake leather.
[27:23] Different. Different varieties. And even with that. It's not infinite. But when it comes to the church. The infinite variety.
[27:35] And innumerable aspects. Of God's wisdom. You can't end it. So that means that. Everybody who gets born again. And every. Okay.
[27:47] So you became born again. Even you getting born again. Is a display of an aspect of God's wisdom. Apart from all of us. You. Because you are a unique entity. You. Are a piece of the jigsaw puzzle.
[27:59] Then. Every growth. Of yours. Is another piece. So. Just you alone. You can never finish growing in Christ. So you die. Then.
[28:10] The others who are about to. It is very complicated. And. Every cell. Every atom. In the church. Is essential. For the display of God's wisdom.
[28:22] That's why. We cannot give up on. Anybody. Unless. Unless. They are not interested. In Christ. Because. Out of. Outside of Christ. There is nothing God can use you for. What can God use you?
[28:33] It doesn't matter my education. It doesn't matter my exposure. It doesn't matter my. You're not. Bitch. God can't use me for anything. God can't use me for anything. That's why. Every one of us.
[28:44] Must keep fortifying. Our position in Christ. Strengthening your work with Christ. That is what gives you. Your covenant relevance. In the sight of God.
