[0:00] Hallelujah. Thank you for tuning in to this powerful message by David Entry at Caris Phase 2, our Christ-centered youth services. You can never find Christ outside of the open word of words.
[0:14] May Jesus Christ reveal himself to you as you listen. Father, thank you so much for bringing us here. Put your word into us and open us up for the surgery and the trachostomy of your word.
[0:30] Let your word cut. Let your word sharpen. Let your word encourage. Let your word build. Let your word tear down anything that is not of you in our lives.
[0:41] And let your word build everything that is of you into us. Let our faith come alive. In Jesus' name. Amen. The Bible says, Ephesians chapter 3.
[0:54] For this cause I pour the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, if you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you, how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote afore in few ways, whereby when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ, which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles, excuse me, and prophets by the Holy Spirit, by the Spirit, that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakers of the promise of Christ by the gospel.
[1:51] Here ends the reading of God's word. Praise the Lord. Now, last, in our last session, last week's teaching, I spoke extensively about the mystery, the mystery.
[2:18] Praise God. I spoke extensively about the mystery of Christ, the mystery of God. And then I explained how this whole thing was planned, called church, was the plan of God from eternity.
[2:39] And God hid the church in himself so that even Moses could not know what the church was. Elijah was prophesying about the church, but he didn't have a working knowledge of the church.
[2:54] So after they prophesied, they go and do research. They go to church TPT and say, what is this church I was talking about? Chuck TPT said, no comment. I don't know.
[3:05] Why? Because God had hid it in himself. According to Ephesians chapter 3, verse 9, God hid it in himself.
[3:15] He says that which from the beginning of the ages. So there was a time the ages began. We are in an age. Age. It is a period in history.
[3:28] Age. So from the beginning, in other words, from the beginning of history, he said, which from the, okay, let's, and to make all men see the fellowship of the mystery. Talking about the mystery.
[3:39] Which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden hidden in God who created. So God created everything and then hid something that he has created in himself onto an appointed time.
[3:53] Hidden in God. So, God has hid in himself from the ages.
[4:03] He always, it's, it's, it's God's, everybody hides something. Yeah. Most times, we cover things up a lot. We, everybody hides something.
[4:16] Everybody hides something. Usually. So, when I was in secondary school, I used to have bushy hair and I would never cut my hair low. Why? Because I'm covering the double decker.
[4:31] Until, it got to such a time that I can't keep hair on my hair. Then I realized it's not bad. It's not bad. But it made me think it's bad. It's very nice, yeah? Bold men are nice.
[4:43] Sorry? Bold men are nice, yeah? But I used to grow bushy hair to cover the shape of my head.
[4:55] So, when I was in secondary school, there was a time that cutting almost all your hair became fashionable. They used to call it sweat or something. Yeah.
[5:06] No, sweat, when I was. But I never did it. I guess you know why. I don't want to uncover stuff. God also hid something. We tend to want to hide some things.
[5:20] But God didn't hide it not because it was ugly. He hid it not because it was ugly. He hid it not because he was hiding something to deceive somebody.
[5:35] No. He hid it because he was working something towards a certain time. So, he hid what is called the mystery of Christ, which is the church.
[5:46] He hid it in himself according to Ephesians chapter 3 verse 9. God who created the world since the beginning of the ages hid this mystery in himself.
[5:59] Now, that means no one can access it. you cannot access it. That is why we have so many religions. That's why we have so many religions to the extent that even when God gave them how to relate to them in the Old Testament, they made a religious monster out of it.
[6:19] So, by the time Jesus came, the kind of religion they were practicing, Judaism, was an aberrant version of the original thing God gave them. That's why they couldn't find Jesus.
[6:31] That's why Jesus came and they couldn't identify him because guess what? The law and the prophets were pointing, they automatically by default led to Jesus. How come you have the law and the prophets and Jesus come and say we want to kill you?
[6:45] That means the version they had was an aberrant version, was a distorted version, was not pure and original. It had been infiltrated with man's way of worshipping, man's style of worship which is called religion.
[6:59] religion. So it was a religious system which deviated and distracted from Christ. It's human. That's why God does not like religion.
[7:11] Religion is man's attempt to get to God. Religion is trying to enjoy God without Christ. Religion is putting systems in place.
[7:22] Do you know when religion started? religion started in Genesis chapter 4 when man began to create his own way of reaching out to God, his own way of amusement, his own ways of defense, and his own ways of commerce.
[7:40] Then they developed their own way of worship. That's why God rejected Abel's, Cain's offering. Cain's offering typified man's expression of reaching out to God.
[7:52] What we thought God should want. That's what I'm going to give to you, God. You should expect that you should want this. Why would man try to think that he didn't know what God wants?
[8:03] But they don't because God's system of him reaching, there's no way we could reach out to God. Because the Bible says that for all have gone astray.
[8:15] The Bible says each one has, Romans chapter 7 verse 11, everyone has gone his own way, Romans chapter 3, I'm sorry, pardon me. Romans chapter 3 verse 11, none of us seek after God.
[8:27] There is none who understand, there is none who seek after God. In Isaiah chapter 53, it said, for we all like sheep have gone astray. We all, none of us, I think verse 6 or verse 7, we all, it's verse 6, it says that all we like sheep have gone, how many of us have gone astray?
[8:48] All, all humanity, Romans chapter 3 verse 23, for all have sinned and have fallen short, all have sinned, none seeks after God, none knows the way, none can reach out to God.
[9:03] When you are left to yourself, you will never get to God, you will never go to God, you will never go to God, rather, you will go to the world, you will be worldly, you will be sinful, it's sin, being sinful is natural, being godly is not natural, that's why you don't think, you don't expect that because you have good intentions and good hearts, automatically you become godly, no, it's not natural, it's natural to want to do good to somebody, it's natural to want to be kind to somebody, but it's not natural to want to be dedicated to God, that's why he says that, no, John chapter 6 verse 44, it says that, no one can come to me except the father draws him, you don't have it in yourself to seek God by yourself, that's why we have to go out and talk to people about Jesus, instead of sitting in our comfortable seats and homes and churches and think that they will come by themselves, no, human beings don't go to
[10:04] God by themselves, they will create religions for themselves, but they will never go to God because the system of God has been hidden from man, am I preaching?
[10:17] God hid it in himself, he hid it in himself, but why would he do that? Because he planned that at the appointed time he will reveal it, but it was only predicated on an appointed time, but why didn't he do it earlier?
[10:33] No, in Genesis chapter 3 verse 15, God preached the first gospel, I've always been saying it, I know you know it, God preached the first gospel and he said the audience was Satan, the devil, he said to the devil, the seed of the woman will bruise your head, crush your head, you'll bruise his heel, but he will crush your head, talking about Jesus, when you look at the New King James, he uses he, the capital H, his heel, he says that, he says that, and I'll put enmity between you, between your seed and his, he's the seed, so Jesus is called the seed of the woman, the seed of the woman, he is also called the seed of Abraham, he's also called the seed of David, he's the threefold seed, the seed of the woman, the seed of Abraham, and all of them, God told them, God told the devil, the seed of the woman, in other words, somebody's coming from the woman, from within him, told Abraham that in you, in your seed, shall all the families of the earth be blessed,
[11:41] Genesis chapter 22 verse 18, Genesis chapter 12 verse 3, it's there, it's there, the seed of the woman will bruise your soul, it's there, I'll bless you, I prefer the 18, Genesis chapter 22 verse 18, Genesis chapter 22, verse 18, it said, and in your seed, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, now, it didn't say in your seeds, in your seed, talking to, talking about a particular, oh my goodness, in your seed, talking about a particular seed, so when you look at Galatians chapter 2 verse 16, maybe 15 and 16, but let's see 16, knowing that none of justify my faith, all right, let's go to verse 15, all right, I think when we go further, Genesis chapter 3, okay, let's look at chapter 3 verse 16, it spoke about how God never told Abraham that your seeds, that's it, now verse 16, here, here, 3, verse 16, now to Abraham, and his seed were the promise made, he does not say and to seeds, which is of many, but as of one, and to your seed, who is
[12:55] Christ, did you see that, so the Bible has already interpreted what God said to Abraham, how would you know that's what he's talking about without going to Galatians, now, Paul is the one who wrote Galatians, he was giving them the assignment to reveal the hidden mystery, and so when God was telling Abraham, that in your seed, this is very strong, in your seed shall all the earth be blessed, he was talking about there's a Christ coming from you, and the reason why Abraham was saved is Abraham believed in Jesus, that's why Jesus told the Jews, that Abraham desires to see my days, you are in my days, and you want to stone me, Abraham, John chapter 8 verse 56, Abraham desired to see my days, Abraham, your father Abraham, rejoiced to see my days, and he saw it, and was glad, hallelujah, but you know, they didn't get what he was saying, so the Jews said, look, you are not even yet 50, and he said you have seen
[14:01] Abraham, they didn't get it, that's what happens, when a Muslim tells you, how can Jesus be God, and be man at the same time, they don't get it, because a Muslim sometime ago, he said that, how can God, if you are saying God has a son, then God has a wife, you don't get it, you don't get it, you see, you are thinking anthropologically, or anthropomorphically,!
[14:24] in terms of human beings, you are thinking that, when Bible says that, he that sits in the heavenly, does that mean God has got backside? it's called anthropomorphic language, he speaks in human terms, else how can you understand it?
[14:42] If ET comes and is having conversation with you, you will understand it, unless the frame of reference is within the human terminologies, and so when God, who is transcendent, who is beyond us, is talking to us, he better employs or uses human terminologies, so he can make sense, that is why Jesus was always telling parables, and he says, the kingdom of heaven is like, he didn't say it is, he said it is like, it is like, when Jesus was being baptized, Matthew chapter 3, from verse 18, 19, Luke chapter 3, from verse 21, 22, Bible says that the heavens was opened, and the spirit of God descended like, it's not a dove, the spirit of God is not a dove, come on, you can't reduce God to a dove, no, it's not a, but there must be something we have to use to describe the shape of it, and he said the shape, oh my God, the shape of it was like a dove, it was like a dove, and so
[15:46] God uses language that we can understand, so Jesus told them, Abraham desired to see my days, and he saw it, oh, don't underestimate what your desires can do for you in your work with God, the things you desire will give God authorization to do some things for you, when you come to church and say, I don't mind whether the pastor is blessing or I don't mind if God will do it, if you say I don't mind whether God does it or not, he won't do it, he won't, God doesn't do things for people who don't mind, sit down, sit down, sit down, God does not do things for people who don't mind, you better get on your knees and pray, pray, and don't say if God can Sarah or Sarah, you become Sarah, stop saying, if it be the will of God, well, it doesn't matter whatever happens, hey, find out the will in the word of God, and begin to go to God that your word says this,
[16:51] I believe you from your word, I believe you in your word, I depend on your word, I believe my healing is now, I really feel like preaching, I feel the anointing here, Abraham, desired, why are you not desiring, don't ever be deceived to think you will ever become a pastor, without desiring it, then God says you are a pastor for your dreams, it doesn't happen, since I got born again, my greatest desire is that God will use me, and then two, I have desired God, if I will be a pastor, that will be my dream, I desired it, I desired it, I desired, I started talking like a pastor before I became a pastor, I started dressing like a pastor before I became a pastor, I started behaving like when I'm treating girls before I got married, I treated them like a pastor should treat girls, some of you have slept with anything that passes your way, pull up your zip, boy, you don't have a future in ministry with this loose zip attitude, pull up your zip, dress like a preacher, dress like a pastor, talk like a pastor, read your
[18:12] Bible like a teacher, you want to be a teacher, you are not steady, why would you take your child to a school where the teachers don't read, desire it, that's what Paul said in first Timothy chapter 3 verse 1, if anyone desires the office of a bishop, desires it, delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you your heart desires, Psalm 34, delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart, who told you God doesn't work with your desires, he works with some of you ladies, you have to desire that you really marry a godly man, and carry yourself like a godly man's wife, this party girl, godly men don't go for party girls, oh yes, unless it's not godly, but it's just putting up a facade, but genuinely godly men don't go for party girls, genuinely godly women don't go for party boys, now your desire is that you become a woman of God, your desire is that you become a man of God, so for goodness sake, unless you desire to be a rehab, for goodness sake, present yourself, present yourself to justify your desires, justify your desires, you want to, oh, oh, some of you want to be, you want to be rich in life, you will remain poor, the way you are spending money, the way you are always borrowing, the way you are buying things you can't afford, you don't have a job, but you are wearing a
[20:06] Balenciaga, something is not really balanced in your life, quick money, any money you make quick, leaves you quickly, Bible says that wealth gotten by vanity will diminish, it's in your Bible, Proverbs 13, 11, wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, give me Kojovi King's version, wealth gotten by fraud, wealth gotten by fraud, wealth gotten by fraud, it will diminish, in other words, you will never live to enjoy its purity, yes, even if it doesn't leave your hand, you won't live long to enjoy it, by the time you have a doctor said you have developed a kidney problem, and so you can't eat egg, you can't eat this, you can't eat that, you won't eat a lot of the things that you have dreamt about, because wealth gotten by,
[21:17] Bible says that the bread of deception is sweet in their mouth, afterwards, your mouth will be filled with gravels, I don't know who I'm preaching to, yes, wealth gotten by vanity will diminish, and he said the bread of deception, the other one, the bread gained by deceit, is sweet to a man, but afterwards, afterwards, my problem is not what you are enjoying now, but the afterwards, the afterwards, bread of deception, is sweet to a man, but afterwards, but afterwards, there are some of you sitting here, you are dealing with an afterwards, yeah, you had, you failed in GCSE, because when people were studying, you were playing video games, afterwards, afterwards, afterwards, afterwards, afterwards, afterwards, afterwards, afterwards, there are some things we have to remember that will always hit us, and set your desire on things that will change your story, if you desire to have money very quickly, you will fall into trouble, some people think, you want to, you want to be a pastor, so you can have money, thinking, being a pastor, is very dry, because blessing comes from God, oh yes, oh yes,
[23:05] Bible says in 1 Timothy chapter 6, verse 10, it talks about how some people who desire to be rich, that's serious, it says that, but those, verse 9, that was better, but those who desire to be rich, fall into temptation and how many of you know somebody who tried to get money quickly and got himself into trouble, yeah, yeah, fall into temptation and snare is a trap, trap, you easily fall into trap when you want quick money, Jesus said, Abraham desire, this is, this is centuries ahead, when he met God, God said, in you, in your seed shall all the earth be blessed and he desired it, he believed it, that's the first thing and he got saved and he desired, I want to experience this and he experienced it, he experienced the days of Jesus in his days, why, because of desire, so in Galatians chapter 3, verse 7, it talks about how God knowing that the Gentiles will be justified, therefore, not only that, let's go to verse 8,
[24:17] Galatians chapter 3, yeah, let's go to the scriptures, foreseeing that God will justify, God will justify the Gentiles by faith, preach the gospel to Abraham, so Abraham had the gospel and remember, I always say, I don't want anyone to be listening to me or be under my ministry and not be clear on what the gospel is, no, I'm not done, I've done a bad job, we have to be very clear about what the gospel, some people are preaching what is not the gospel but they say it's the gospel, it's not the gospel, the gospel is not about if you don't come to Jesus you go to hell, that's not a gospel, that's not a gospel, the gospel is not just about for God so love the world, that's not a gospel, the gospel is the message concerning the person of Jesus, who is Jesus and not just the person of Jesus, the works of Jesus, what he did and what he's still doing, the work of Jesus hasn't finished, he's still building the church, that's why you can't preach a full gospel if you omit the church life out of it because that's not the full gospel and that's why we can preach the gospel in church because we are still talking about Jesus,
[25:24] Paul said I'm not ashamed of the gospel, he said he was talking to a church, he said when I came, I came to declare to you the gospel, I can't wait to come and tell you the gospel, but it's a church, I used to think that gospel is only for the world, and unbelievers, no, the gospel is any message, the message about Jesus Christ, who he is and what he has done, his works, his person and his works, what's the gospel, the message about Jesus Christ, his person and his work, that is important, that is a summary of the gospel, and watch this, Bible says that the gospel was preached to Abraham, Abraham, Abraham heard about Jesus, he heard about the works of Jesus and he believed it, and what was the gospel that was preached, it's clear, they're saying, in you, in you, what is there in you, in you, all mentioned, there is somebody coming from your loins, the seed, there's this, there's a seed in you, there's a seed in you, there's a seed in you, there's a seed in you,
[26:31] Abraham those days, he was fatherless, come on, Abraham was fatherless, Abraham was, sorry, I'm sorry, he was childless, he didn't have a child, he was childless, but God comes to Abraham and he said, in you, in your seed, there's somebody in you, the one through him, all the earth will be blessed, and Abraham believed it, he believed it, at the time, he didn't have a child, he actually told God, in Genesis chapter 15, he told God, that, seeing that I have no child, you say, I'm blessed, God appears to Abraham, he said, I am, verse one, God and the Lord God, after all these things, God came to Abraham in a vision, do not be afraid, I am your shield, an exceedingly great, exceedingly great reward, and Abraham said, but Lord, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house, is Eliezer of Damascus, in other words, the one who inherits, what I have, is Eliezer, is a foreigner,
[27:33] I don't have a child, look at the verse three, God said, no, the Lord said to Luke, you have, no sorry, Abraham said, Luke, you have given me, no offspring, indeed, one born in my house, is my heir, in other words, is not my child, but because he is going to be, the one who inherits, all that I have, what did God say to Abraham, verse four, and behold, the word of the Lord, came to Abraham saying, there is one, this one shall not, that Eliezer will not be, this one shall not be, but one who will come from, your own, one who will come from, your own body, Abraham said, I'm childless, can't you see God, I'm childless, my wife cannot conceive, I'm childless, God said, don't think that, you won't have a child, to sit on your throne, to inherit, one who will come from your own, and Abraham believed it, look at verse five, verse five, then, then God brought Abraham, and show him the skies, he says, this is how your descendants, shall be, plenty, you don't have child, but see, walk with me and see,
[28:39] I don't know who I'm talking to, you might not have something, but keep walking with God, and see, I don't know what you don't have, but I know he owns all things, walk with God, and see if your story, will not change, walk with God, and see if your marital destiny, will not change, walk with God, and see if your financial destiny, will not change, no one walks with God, and stays at the same level, no, I mean, I've been old, JV said, and now I'm, I've been young, now I'm old, never have I seen, the righteous forsaken, not his seed, beg for bread, walk with God, and see if your status, will not change, don't walk with God, because you are looking, for a change of status, walk with God, because your heart, is set on it, and he will take, the responsibility, of decorating your life, and Abraham, verse 6 says that, and Abraham believed, what, and Abraham believed, in the Lord, and it was accounted to him, for righteousness, that's Genesis chapter 15, chapter 16, the wife comes to Abraham, said this thing is not working, let's help God, from the way God spoke, it looks like, your body is fertile,
[29:45] Abraham, but my womb is dead, my womb is not fertile, Sarah was barren, she could, she was childless, and Sarah said, I know, from the test, we did recently, in a scan, I'm not ovulating, I can't release eggs, we can't have a child, but I know, my mate, called Hagar, she will produce, so Abraham, so will you help God, why don't you, use the word, go into her, yeah, wealth gotten by vanity, that's not God's way, so Sarah, he said to Abraham, see now the Lord, has restrained me, from bearing children, please go, into my mate, everyone said, all right, Sarah are you sure, I'm not sure, Sarah are you sure, Sarah really don't, want to do it, and so they had to, check with the lady, when a period of, the season of ovulation was, so Abraham, loaded, loaded,
[31:00] Hagar, with his seed, because God said, in your seed, he didn't say, Sarah's egg, said in your seed, so Abraham, loaded, that he made, with seed, pumping seed, pumping seed, end, guess what, it worked, it worked, Sarah said, I didn't know, he will honor us this way, Abraham was happy, but at that time, God withdrew from him, you want to help God, don't dare you, try to help God, he doesn't need your help, God withdrew from Abraham, and God never, came to Abraham, and at that time, Abraham was, 76 years old, he was 13, yeah, 86 years old, wait look, he was 86 years old, Abraham was 86 years old, when Hagar brought Ishmael, from that time, God didn't talk to him again, God didn't come to him again, be careful what you are doing, to try to look good, you might miss God, it does not cost God, anything to replace you, it does not cost God, anything to withdraw from you, but it will cost you everything,
[32:20] Abraham withdrew, God withdrew from Abraham, then Genesis chapter 17, verse 1, when he was 99, what, Abraham was 99 years old, the Lord appeared, he said, walk before me, I'm the almighty, walk before me, and be blameless, stop, you see, God didn't give up on him, sometimes God will give you, another chance, but don't do things, thinking that there's another chance, because that might be your last chance, like Saul, he went to offer, sacrifice, when God had not spoken to him, they took the throne from him, and gave it to David, no second chance, depending on the nature of the assignment, God might not give you a second chance, Samson never had a second chance, yeah, he never had a second chance, he was playing around with the wrong girl, yeah, so, Abraham, Abraham, God said, walk before me, and be perfect, and then God made a covenant with him, and told him, your wife Sarah is going to have a child,
[33:24] I don't mean a foreigner, your wife Sarah, so that child you have given birth to, is illegitimate, it's illegitimate, but I'll bless him because of you, because of my covenant with you, anything around you will command blessing, I'll bless you, and God, said your wife Sarah will have a child, and Sarah, was a very old lady, 90 years old, and Sarah conceived, at the time of the Lord, God told Abraham in Genesis chapter 18, I think verse 14, that in the time of life, your wife Sarah, oh yes, is there anything too hard for God, at the appointed time, I'll return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah, shall, have, a, son, and Sarah heard it, and Sarah said, shall an old woman like me, have pleasure, how can I enjoy it anymore, it's not possible, and the angel said, hey,
[34:26] Sarah, what is it, I said, no, no, I didn't say anything, I just, I just, I didn't say anything, he says, God said, that's the angel, is there anything too hard for God, tell somebody, there's nothing too hard for God, oh, you didn't say it, say to someone, there's nothing, preach with me, preach to somebody, there's nothing too hard for, there's nothing too hard for, there's nothing too hard for, I feel, an anointing for miracles here, please sit down, I feel, I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I feel an anointing, some of you are about to, step into a new face of it, some of you, some things are radically, about to change for you, right, some of you, God is about to flip this, around so quickly for you, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, I see it happening for you, in Jesus name, please be seated, let me just run up quickly, let me finish this, don't forget,
[35:32] I started from Ephesians, I'm so good, I have not taught anything, I just spoke about hidden, so God, told Abraham, your wife shall have a, child, and Abraham believed it, in Genesis chapter 21, verse 2 Bible says that, the Lord did unto Sarah, as he has promised, wow, so what he promised, he did it, Sarah, bore a son, and Sarah was saying, who would have said, Sarah would have given, who would have bread fed, who, who, Sarah, oh my God, she said, who would have said, to Abraham, that Sarah, would have nursed children, for I have born him, a son, in his old age, why, because, Abraham believed God, and Sarah herself, also believed God, so it wasn't a, unilateral belief, it was a, a corporate belief, the couples, they believed God together, so the Bible says, in Hebrews chapter 11, verse 11, by faith, Sarah herself, conceived her, when she was gone, past the age of conception, when her, the body was dead, she, when she, the Bible says, she's past the age, she conceived, she received strength, to conceive, why, because she judged God, faithful, she judged it,
[36:49] God, you said it, I believe you, God, you said it, I don't care, what the doctors are saying, I don't care, what anybody is saying, I don't care, what the statistic is saying, I care, what you are saying, God, you are faithful, I'll stay in church, I'll be faithful, I'll do your word, I'll give my offering, I'll give my time, I'll serve in church, I'll stay in church, God, you are faithful.
[37:07] God, you are faithful. She judged God faithful. Hallelujah. If I were you, I would scream hallelujah.
[37:17] Hallelujah. She judged God faithful. Judge God faithful. Judge God faithful. In other words, you know God is sensible enough to sort you out when the time comes.
[37:32] So you don't go around crying and sobbing and feeling so sad and looking so morose like people who don't know God. When you are going through any difficult patch in your life, behave like someone who believes God.
[37:47] You believe that God is faithful. God will not change his status because of your problem. Believe that he's faithful. Count him faithful. Judge God faithful.
[37:58] If you can be faithful, then God is better than you. He said he counted, he accounted faithfulness to God. He judged God faithful. So he look at himself.
[38:09] He look at how he has not done well and how things haven't been. And she felt, she, she felt like, no, no, this cannot work. But anyway, God is not like me. God is faithful. God is faithful.
[38:20] Did he say it? He will do it. God is faithful. And she started rehearsing what God has said and depending that, believing that God is faithful. Am I preaching to somebody who believes that God is faithful?
[38:32] God is faithful. Don't behave like those people who don't know God and open their mouth and talk recklessly. And all these things I don't believe. Those of us who believe, will believe. Will believe. It's like the sun is shining and you decide, I'm not going to enjoy the summer.
[38:46] I'm not going to walk in the sun. I'll stay in my basement and freeze. It's up to you. It doesn't affect those of us who are enjoying the sun. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[38:56] You are not believing God doesn't affect those of us who believe him. Abraham judged God faithful. She counted God faithful. And because of that, she bore a child.
[39:09] Sit down, please. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes yes So God told Abraham that in you, and Abraham believed it.
[40:11] So Jesus, thousands of years later, told the Jews that Abraham saw my days, and he was glad. And the Jews said, you are not even yet 50.
[40:23] And you said, you have seen Abraham. Then verse 58, John chapter 8, he said, before Abraham, I am. Before Abraham, I am.
[40:36] They said, didn't you say you have a devil? You are demon possessed. They took stones to want to kill him because now you've crossed the bar. Then the Jews, they said, now we know that you have a demon.
[40:49] Don't be worried about people who pass negative things about a genuine teacher of God's word. They can sit online and say all they want to say. They are lost.
[41:00] They said about Jesus, when he was actually teaching them the truth, they said he had a demon. They said Jesus had a demon.
[41:13] So, as for me, I don't know. Even if they say, I am the devil himself, it's even not close to where Jesus said he has a demon. It is normal for people to say Satan to inspire the hearts of people to attack the one who teaches the word of God.
[41:31] There's one gentleman who summarized the entirety of the Old Testament in the New Testament. He broke the Old Testament down from Abraham.
[41:42] Explain when God said that in your city, shall the air be blessed. Abraham, Stephen, in Acts chapter 7, he explained it from verse 7, from verse 2. He explained, broke it, broke it, broke it, broke it, broke it, till he got to verse 51.
[41:57] And they gnashed their teeth against him. Verse 59. They killed him. The one, the only one person in the New Testament who explained the Old Testament so clear from what was hidden in God, he exposed it.
[42:14] They killed him. They killed him. In the verse 52, Acts 7, 51, 52, he says that you stiff-necked people, which of the prophets, you are a circumcised of hearts and ears.
[42:31] So, you have two areas. Your heart must be circumcised. And then where? Your ears. Your ears. Your ears. You might be sitting here somewhere whose ears are not circumcised. When you close church and you go and say, oh, the things that they say, I don't believe in that.
[42:42] Because their ears are not circumcised. You heard the voice of God. They didn't hear the voice of God. Say, stop, broke your ears. And God opened your ears. Don't compare yourself to them because they have uncircumcised ears and uncircumcised hearts.
[42:54] Bible says that you stiff-necked and uncircumcised in hearts and ears. You always resist, not the preacher, the Holy Ghost. How do I know? Because you know God is talking to you.
[43:06] You know the Holy Ghost is saying something to you. You know the preacher doesn't know you. You know the pastor doesn't know about you. But the things he's talking about, it's really talking to you. But you resist the Holy Ghost because your heart is uncircumcised.
[43:18] Your ears are uncircumcised. And your neck is stiff. It's that you always resist the Holy Ghost as your fathers did. So you have to be careful.
[43:30] Your family behavior will become your behavior. Sometimes look at your family line. That friend you are following. That boy you are following.
[43:43] That girl you are following. That family is full of gangsters and armed robbers. Thieves and fornicators. That's her genealogy.
[43:56] Oh yeah. Think about what I'm saying. You, your uncle is a pastor. Your mother is a dickiness. Your father is a churchgoer, Asha. Almost everybody in your family is something.
[44:10] You are comparing yourself to these stiff-necked people. Who, the stiff-necked didn't start with them. It started from their generation. Be careful who you are following. He said, which of, which of.
[44:22] He says that you, you, you stiff-necked, you resist the Holy Ghost just as your fathers did. Yes. Resist the Holy Ghost as your fathers did. So do you.
[44:33] Don't forget this. Let's go back to Abraham. Abraham. So the gospel was preached to Abraham. And it said, in you shall your sin. The earth be blessed. Now, that was talking about Jesus Christ.
[44:45] But even Abraham saw it and believed it. He didn't have a total picture of the church coming. So this whole full gospel has always remained a mystery.
[44:57] So God told Eve. He told the devil. The seed of the woman will bruise your head. He told Abraham, your seed, in your seed all the earth will be blessed. And he told David, your seed will sit on your throne.
[45:09] And I was referring to one particular seed. One particular seed. The seed of the ages. The seed of the ages. From Adam, through Abraham, through David.
[45:22] Right, and it showed up in Mary. The seed of the woman. The seed of the woman. Shall bruise the head of the serpent. The mystery of Christianity.
[45:34] Listen. Ah, ah. Please. Muslims who try to take the Bible will have a big problem. Because they'll be reading it from a wrong perspective.
[45:46] They will never understand it. Because the seed is a mystery. It's a mystery. Ah, okay, okay. Why is the Bible saying that? Do you want to believe? If I tell you, will you even believe it?
[45:58] Jesus is not in the Koran. We preach Jesus. And him crucified. Yes. You can sit here. Jesus and him crucified.
[46:11] So, it's important to understand that when Paul said something was hidden in God. He was referring to this Jesus thing, which other religions try to also fish into.
[46:27] But because it's coded, they try to crack it. They can't crack it. And so, they have an uncracked version. They have an undemystified version.
[46:42] The version they have is a mystery. And so, they are confused about it. That's why anytime you talk to anybody from any other religion, they get confused about what we describe Jesus.
[46:54] He said, no, no, no, but how can you say it? How can you say it's the Son of God? Okay. Why? Because it's a mystery hidden in God.
[47:07] God must reach out from himself and reveal it. So, now Paul said, Ephesians, now I end on this. Back to Ephesians. That's where we started, isn't it? Oh, I feel like preaching, you know?
[47:19] Praise God to see. I feel like preaching. Let us see. He said, no, please, let's go back to the verse 4 and 5.
[47:30] Ephesians chapter 3, verse 4 and 5. By which you, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. You see what I've been talking about?
[47:41] Somebody had cracked it. Somebody had gotten access to this mystery of Christ. So, that's why it's only the church that can explain Christ.
[47:52] This is the problem. Why would pastors leave explaining Christ to go and talk about money? To go and talk about other things? Meanwhile, it's only the church that can explain Christ. And we leave and we're going to talk about, on Sunday you are preaching about anger management.
[48:08] Do an extracurriculum for that. Seven ways to become a millionaire. Please excuse me. You can learn down front.
[48:19] Go to the stock exchange or something. You can learn some of those things. But nobody can explain Christ. So, that is why other religions, every other religion have a version of Christ.
[48:31] They have an idea about Christ. But it's not cracked. It's not refined. It's not, it's scripted. So, they can't get it. And they attempt using the natural human mind to break it down.
[48:46] And they are making mistakes. And they say, the Bible is not true. The Bible is not true. Can you keep quiet? The Bible is about one man. Jesus. So, it says that if you read, when you read, talking about this.
[49:01] When you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. It's only in this one you can find it. Knowledge in the mystery of Christ. Look at the next verse. Verse 5.
[49:14] Which in other ages was not known to the sons of men. As it has now been revealed by his spirit to his holy apostles and prophets.
[49:25] Now it's been revealed to us. We can talk about it in church now. We can talk about it in church. Who has it been revealed to? The holy apostles and prophets.
[49:35] Some religion may have prophets. But they won't have apostles. So, then they are not the ones to talk about Christ. If you have apostles and you don't have prophets, not what we are talking about. If you have prophets and you don't have apostles, we are not.
[49:47] In fact, the prophet must not be one. You must have prophets. You must have apostles. Praise the Lord.
[49:59] Verse 6. Next. Sunday, I'll pick it up from verse 7. But let's look at verse 6. What is the mystery? I needed to let you know. It's the mystery of Christ.
[50:09] But when you break it down, really, the finest of the mystery is... Let's not read it out loud. Let's go. That... The Gentiles. The Gentiles.
[50:24] The Gentiles. The Gentiles. The Gentiles. The Gentiles. The Gentiles should be fellow heirs.
[50:36] Heirs. In other words, we are at the same rank with Jews. When it comes to this inheritance in Christ. They are not better than us. We are not better than them. We are at par.
[50:48] Fellow heirs of the same body. We are heirs of the body. And not just heirs of the part. We are partakers of his promise in Christ through the gospel.
[51:03] Whatever he has promised, we are bona fide partakers. Yes. Amen. Yes. These are the things that should stir your heart to shout hallelujah.
[51:15] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Many people don't know this what church is about. They think it's about just singing and clapping and hearing some boring preacher who doesn't know what he's talking about. That's why you used to go with your mother and you sleep.
[51:27] Yes, sir. No. No. The preaching that works is the preaching that the preacher is convinced about.
[51:39] Amen. You are preaching and you are passionate about what you are preaching. Not only passionate, you are bold about what you are preaching. God of a shahayana. Bold about what you are preaching.
[51:51] And not just that you are bold, you are also clear about what you are preaching. You are communicating clearly. The three aspects of effective preaching. Passion, boldness, and clarity.
[52:02] Wow. Paul said that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body and partakers of the promises.
[52:19] I think the promise in Christ through the gospel. I think it's just enough to end. And next week, I'll go on there from verse 6.
[52:29] The promise in Christ through the gospel. Did you receive something? No. Come on, put your hands together.
