[0:00] Hallelujah! Thank you for tuning in to this powerful message by David Entry at Karis Phase 2, our Christ-centered youth services. You can never find Christ outside of the open Word of God.

[0:14] May Jesus Christ reveal himself to you as you listen. Amen! Father, we thank you for bringing us.

[0:25] We pray that you pour yourself into us and reveal Jesus to us. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

[0:39] Please be seated. Hallelujah! It is never too much to say hallelujah. Hallelujah!

[0:53] For this course, Ephesians chapter 3, Ephesians chapter 3, verse 1 for this course. For this course, I, Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ, for you Gentiles, if ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God, which is given to me, to you was, how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote afore in few words, whereby when ye read, ye may understand the knowledge of the mystery of Christ, which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel.

[1:53] Whereof I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God, given unto me by the effectual working of his power, unto me, who am the, I am less than the, I am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that as you preach among the Gentiles, the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all men see, what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world, has been hit in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ, to the intent, that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places, might be made, might be known by the church, the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose, which he purpose in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

[2:49] Here ends the reading of God's word. Hallelujah. Well, the text we just read, points us to some important things, which, which I need you to take notice of.

[3:08] Now, it says that, the mystery is that, the Gentiles should be fellow as, as six, that the Gentiles should be fellow as, I think, let me take it back.

[3:21] Verse five says that, which in other ages, was not made known unto the sons of men, as it has now been revealed, unto his holy apostles and prophets, by the spirit.

[3:36] There's no way anyone can walk with God without the spirit. And there are things that can quench the spirit in your life. And there are things that, that can grieve the spirit.

[3:50] So, if the spirit is the chief agent of revelation, then if you grieve him, you are going to walk in lack of revelation.

[4:00] Now, I want you to understand this very clearly. He says that, things were hidden in God, or were hid in God, in other ages, which was hid from the sons of men.

[4:15] But now, now, it's revealed. Say revealed. Revealed. That's very important. Revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the spirit.

[4:33] Any serious revelation of God takes the Holy Spirit. The spirit of God is the one behind every revelation of God you get. The spirit of God.

[4:45] So, remember, who do men say I am? Jesus, Peter said, you are the son of God. Matthew chapter 16, verse 17, Jesus says, the blessed are you, Samuel, and Jonah.

[4:56] For flesh and blood has not revealed this unto you, but my father which is in heaven. It takes, it takes, when it comes to knowing about Jesus, it is, watch this, I'm about to say something important.

[5:09] It's not just about teaching. It's not just teaching. Teachings are important, but you can be taught and you still not get it. What helps the revelation of Jesus is the spirit of God.

[5:26] So, that is why Jesus said, don't rush to do anything until you are endued with power by the Holy Spirit. Because when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, in fact, Jesus puts it this way in John chapter 16, verse 13.

[5:40] He said, but when he is come, when he, the spirit of truth is come, he will take what, he will guide you into all, when he comes, the spirit of truth, he will, he will guide you into all truth.

[5:53] That's his job. The real, real truth is not taught by pastors or is not given by pastors. It's given by the spirit. We can teach it, but the spirit has to give you.

[6:04] That's why we pray before we preach. So that the spirit can have his free course to reveal things to us. So, he says that, he will guide you, for he will, he will not speak of his own authority, but whatever he hears, he will speak.

[6:23] He will tell you of things to come. Look at the next verse, verse 14. He will glorify me, for he will take of what is mine and declare it to you.

[6:36] Nobody can ever know Jesus without the work of the Holy Spirit. So, the more you want to do well in your spiritual life, you need to maintain a consistent atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to feel comfortable.

[6:52] Or, as I normally put it, practice his presence. Be aware of his presence. Because, from 1 Thessalonians, chapter 5, verse 21, talks about how, he says that, oh, verse 20.

[7:12] Let's see the verse 20. Yeah, all right. Verse 20, from 19 is what I'm looking for. The 19 says that, let's all read the aloud, let's go.

[7:23] Read the aloud again. For the last time. Do not quench the Spirit. I actually like the way the McKinians put it. That's, I like it.

[7:33] Let's read the aloud. Quench not the Spirit. You see, that's, it sounds more spiritual than do not quench the Spirit. Quench not the Spirit. Can you imagine, you can quench the Holy Spirit.

[7:46] You only quench fire. So that means, the Holy Spirit is like fire. You can quench. He's trying to rush to move, but you can, you can suppress him.

[8:00] So you can be speaking in tongues, but the Holy Spirit is still quenched in your life. Listen, that's not what keeps him burning.

[8:15] What keeps him burning is a certain atmosphere of consecration. Because when I say consecration, I'm talking about purity. Why? Because he is the Holy Spirit.

[8:28] He's holy. So holiness makes him thrive. So you are not saved by your things, the things you do. Because you have begun, now you've started behaving good.

[8:43] Jesus said, that will save you. No. So Christians are not saved by our good behavior. We are saved by his good behavior. And his good behavior was what he did on the cross.

[8:56] The work of Christ. So then, whatever I do, doesn't matter. It doesn't determine your salvation by to determine whether the Holy Spirit can work around you. Because it's Holy Spirit.

[9:08] You can't be living in your life, doing anything, and still him being comfortable with you. So you can quench the Holy Spirit. And not only quenching the Holy Spirit, you can grieve the Holy Spirit.

[9:19] You know the way, if you have seen a snail before. A snail is going somewhere, and something that you just withdraws. Redraws.

[9:30] And then, if it's a tortoise. We used to have tortoise at home, many years ago, when I was a boy. Is it two or three? I would pick them and play with them.

[9:42] And then sometimes, when you tie them, they cross. When you, when the tortoise is moving, you try and disturb it, it calls into a shelf. That is similar to Holy Spirit, being grieved. Grief means that you make somebody unhappy.

[9:58] To grieve somebody. That's why we say, someone is grieving. It's a serious thing when you say someone is grieving. When you know someone is grieving, you just leave them, don't trouble them. Or, you sympathize with them, see how you can, because, when people are grieving, they are not in the best of shape.

[10:13] And the Holy Spirit, can be grieved. You grieve the Holy Spirit, the way you are gossiping. This attitude, grieves the Holy, you are wondering, why is God not using you?

[10:24] He can't use you, because you grieve the Spirit. There are many people, in churches, that are Holy Ghost quenches, and Holy Ghost grievers.

[10:34] They grieve the Spirit. May you not be such a one. Amen. May you not be such a one. Amen. Who, we all, because we are human beings, we can, any of us at all, can fall in the state, where you are grieving the Holy Spirit.

[10:52] Where you are quenching the Holy Spirit. When you quench the Holy Spirit, you stop him from moving. When you grieve the Holy Spirit, you make him very sad. You know, I won't say he goes to sit in the corner, but you know, sometimes some people go and sit in the corner.

[11:03] What's wrong with you, Katie? I'm sad. I'm sad. Mm, uh-huh. Oh, come on. Come and hear something. Oh, man, I'm sad. You grieve the Holy Spirit, and he also, it's like, he stopped talking to you.

[11:18] He stopped. That's why he said, I want spiritual view. For what? You are going to sign a contract, and a deal, but he couldn't talk to you, because you've grieved him.

[11:30] He couldn't tell you, that this is a dangerous deal. About to lose all your money, because he's with you, but because the Holy Spirit, when he's with you, he doesn't leave you. In John chapter 14, verse 17, Jesus said, he will abide with you forever.

[11:46] Yeah. So when you are fornicating, if you are born again, and you have received the Holy Spirit, when you are fornicating, guess what? He's with you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[11:58] When you are clapping the night, and the Holy Spirit, he's with you at a party. Huh? The Holy Spirit is with you at a party.

[12:10] When you are watching porn, he's just, he's just, he won't watch with you, but then he'll be, he'll be, he stays with you.

[12:22] Once he comes, it's in there. Didn't you see the scripture? Jesus said, I pray the Father, and he'll give you another comfort, that's talking on the Holy Spirit, that he may abide, verse 16, abide with you, how long?

[12:33] If you want to talk about BBF. BFF, sorry. He's the best friend forever.

[12:46] Well, Yonggi Cho wrote a book, and he says, Holy Spirit, my senior partner, is my, he's always with you. You must practice his presence.

[12:58] But one of the things, what I really want to say is that, let's be mindful of grieving the spirit. You can't grieve him. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 28 and 29. He said, you have been sealed with the day of promise, but grieve not, I like that grieve not.

[13:12] It's okay, but don't grieve. I prefer grieve not. He said, let's already, yeah, let's go. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed, unto the day of redemption.

[13:25] You have been sealed, unto the day of redemption. In other words, the day Jesus comes, and you'll be out of this flesh, and you can't sin anymore. He's the one who seals you.

[13:37] When you're born again, God, the seal of God, is on you. The endorsement of God, as the turn of God, God's signature, is the seal of heaven. When you see a letter with the seal of the American president, or the seal of our king, it's a serious thing.

[13:54] And the Bible says that, when you go born again, God puts his seal on you. That is the Holy Spirit. You have been sealed by the Holy Spirit of God. Ephesians chapter 1, verse 13 and 14.

[14:07] Sealed, Ephesians chapter 1, verse 13, 14. He said that, in whom you trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom, after you have believed, you were sealed, with the Holy Spirit of promise.

[14:20] Wow. After you believed, you were sealed, he became our guarantee. Yeah. So there are things God hasn't done yet, but the Holy Spirit is the guarantee that he will do.

[14:31] The next verse is that, the guarantee of the purchase, who is the guarantee of our inheritance? Come on. He's the guarantee, of whatever you have in God.

[14:43] If you don't have the Holy Spirit, there's no guarantee. You receive the Holy Spirit. He's not only the seal, but he's the guarantee, that whatever God said he will do, he will do it. And such a seal, you don't grieve.

[15:00] Don't grieve the Holy Spirit. Don't grieve the Holy Spirit. Now, coming back to the text, it says that, it's been revealed to the, who is holy, apostles, prophets, apostles and prophets, by the Spirit.

[15:15] The next verse, verse six. What is this deep thing about the mystery of God? That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs.

[15:30] No, no, no. When you hear the word fellow, that means it's joint. You're talking about joint. My fellow business partner, or my fellow mates, or my fellows in the class.

[15:50] We are joint, some joint partnership, joint ownership, joint partnership, or joints with somebody. So, Paul calls somebody, my fellow prisoner. That means he was, when you hear Paul say, my fellow prisoner, that means he was never in prison alone.

[16:08] My fellow prisoner. That, Philemon, verse 25, I think so. And then, Philemon, verse 9. Somewhere there, it calls, it's called a few people, my fellow prisoners.

[16:19] My fellow workers. And here, it says that, we, that Philemon, Rara 24, yeah. My fellow libra, that's the fellow libra, but there's nine, and we're talking about, fellow prisoners.

[16:36] That's not my topic now. So, fellows. Now, the holy, sorry, Paul says, we are fellow heirs. We have joint, ownership.

[16:49] Wow. That the Gentiles should be, who is an heir? Who is an heir? Someone, qualified to inherit. And he says, that is not only the Jews, who are qualified to inherit.

[17:05] The promises of God. The goodness of God. We Gentiles, who are very far away, now, because in Christ, we are also, being fellow, we are fellow heirs. In fact, Romans chapter 8, verse 17, calls us, joint heirs.

[17:20] How about Shaddai? Joint, if children, if children, then heirs. Heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ.

[17:30] Now, this one is not, fellow heirs with the Jews. This one, joint heirs with Christ. That means, whatever Christ, is entitled to, we are also entitled to.

[17:42] Ah, please, please, don't say, I didn't say, worship. I'm talking about, the things of God, the promises of God, the inheritance that comes from God.

[17:54] Christ, as our forerunner, Christ, as the captain, of our salvation. You can't talk, talk about captain, without the team members.

[18:05] When we say, the captain of the football team, that means that there are also other members of the football team. So, if Christ is the captain, Hebrews chapter 2, verse 9, 8 and 9, I think it says 9 more.

[18:22] It says that, verse 10, okay, for it is fitting for him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to God, to make the captain, of their salvation.

[18:38] This is too cute. Jesus is the captain, of our salvation. That's why we are joint heads with him. The captain, of our salvation. He's also called, Hebrews chapter 10, the forerunner.

[18:54] He is the forerunner. He has entered, into the holy place. Did I say, Hebrews chapter 10? I'm sorry, Hebrews chapter 6, verse 18, 19.

[19:09] He said, our, verse 20, where, where, the forerunner, has entered for us. Who is the forerunner? Is there, even Jesus? So, he's the captain, of our salvation.

[19:23] He's the forerunner. He's going ahead of us. In other words, he leads something, we are part of. So, wherever he's seated, we are also going to be seated.

[19:35] Hallelujah. That's why he's forerunner. So, we are joint heads with Christ. He, Bible says that, for those, he foreknew, he also, predestined, verse 29, Romans 8, 29, to be conformed, into the image, of his son.

[20:02] That's not the end. So, that he'll be, the first, kind of a shatter. That's the word. That he might be, the first born.

[20:15] He's just the first born, but there are many. That's why he's the forerunner. That's why he's our captain. That's why, so, whatever he's, entitled to, as a human being, who has been born, into God, we are entitled to.

[20:29] That's why we are, joint heads, with Christ. So, we are, who are the, we I'm talking about? Both, Jews, and Gentiles. So, Jews, and Gentiles together, come.

[20:44] Come. Come. Come this way. So, this is Christ. Okay. I hope you understand, because now, these people are crazy, on social media.

[20:57] They say, now they are telling people, in the church, that they are Christ. When they are looking, for anything to, pick on. A lot of people, who are religious, and think they know, about Christianity, if you assume, that someone can just, use the Bible, as a cover up, and do church, then you don't understand, Christianity.

[21:15] Because whoever, uses cover up, when you listen to them, you can tell, they are far from Christ. There's nothing. Because no one, can say Jesus is Lord, except the spirit of God. First Corinthians chapter 12. No one can say, you can use, black magic, and the Bible together.

[21:32] No. unless, it's not, you are, and how do you know, you are not genuine? All you know, is listen to their message. How do you judge, a man of God, not the miracles, their message?

[21:48] How do you judge, anyone who is, sent by God, so he can be online, to talk, listen to what, they are talking about? Because anyone, who is sent of God, speaks purely, the word of God, and draws people, to Christ.

[21:59] If people, we can't find Christ, in what you are saying, God hasn't sent you. Doesn't matter, I'm going to talk about this church, I'm going to, God has not sent you. So, back to my text, because, our focus should be on, explaining the word of God, that's more important.

[22:16] I sometimes need to explain, things to you so. So, it says that, the text says that, we are joint, fellow heirs, with the Jews.

[22:28] So, these are the Jews, and these are the, Gentiles. And the Jews, have been promised, by God through Abraham. Promises, promises.

[22:41] God is full of promises, about what he will do, and his blessings for, promises. And so, they have, the Bible says, it belongs to them, the oracles of God, the covenants of promise.

[22:54] Wow. Nearness to God, belong to them. But the Gentiles, were far from God. Ephesians chapter 2. Ephesians chapter 2, from verse 12. The Gentiles, were far from God.

[23:06] The, the Gentiles, were far from God. The aliens, from the commonwealth, of Israel. Strangers, from the covenants, of promise. Having no hope, without God, in this world.

[23:18] But because, of the cross, now, Christ, comes, to pick, the two of them, and present, sends them to God. I explained this. All right. So, they are fellow heirs.

[23:30] Do you understand that? They are, so, the Jews are not ahead, neither the Gentiles are ahead. They are fellow heirs. Whatever the Jews, are entitled to in Christ, the Gentiles, are also entitled to in Christ.

[23:43] Now, watch this. But when it comes to, joint, eh, let's say, so let's say, this is, the father, okay, and Christ, has inheritance, in the father.

[23:57] Christ, as a human Christ, who is our forerunner, who is the captain, of our salvation. He has inheritance, in Christ. But now, when we get born again, it's not just fellow heirs, now we are, joint heirs.

[24:13] Do you understand that? So, when it comes to, getting access, to the father, through Christ, they are fellow heirs. When it comes to, receiving the benefits, Christ has, in God, we are, joint heirs, with Christ.

[24:29] So, Jews and Gentiles, Jews and Gentiles, are joint heirs, with Christ. So, whatever Christ, is entitled to, I'm not talking about, Christ as God, but I'm talking about, Christ as the man, who died, and resurrected.

[24:44] He is our forerunner, not God. God is not our forerunner, because God is not a human being. So, I'm talking about, the human Jesus, who is God, but became man.

[24:55] So, he was the God man, and he took man, and took man into God. So, for the first time, there is man in God, and that man in God, has become our forerunner.

[25:09] Hallelujah! So, and our forerunner, he is, as a Romans, I read earlier on, he is the firstborn, amongst many brethren.

[25:22] How many of us, are part of the brethren? And one of the many brethren. He's the firstborn, amongst many brethren. Thank you very much. Please, be seated. So, now, let's go back to the text, verse 6, Ephesians chapter 3, verse 6.

[25:38] That, this is the mystery. Watch this. The mystery, that has been hidden in God, for all this world, is that, God called Abraham, and, in fact, those of you, are reading Genesis, Abraham, he told Abraham, yesterday, he told Abraham, I will bless you, and he showed him, the stars, of the sky.

[26:01] And, and then, in Genesis chapter, 22, verse 18, he said, and your descendants, you'll be great, and then your descendants, I will bless you, and your sea shall be, blessed, because you have obeyed me.

[26:14] Let's go to the next verse, there's something I'm looking for. The verse, okay, I think no, the verse before. God told Abraham, your descendants, as the stars of heaven, I will multiply your descendants, as the stars, and, as the stars of heaven, watch this, and as the sun, on the seashore.

[26:34] So, which is which? When it comes to the sons, of the seashore, he was talking about, his natural, human descendants. The stars of heaven, he's talking about, the faith descendants.

[26:47] So, so, in Galatians chapter 3, verse 7, and 8, or, look at verse 7, therefore, know that, those who are, who are of faith, are, who, what?

[27:00] The sons of Abraham. So, you don't have to be a Jew, to be a son of Abraham. Why are we sons of Abraham? So, we can share, in the promise. Look at the verse, 13, and 14.

[27:15] Oh, oh, oh, verse 13, and 14. Verse 13 says that, Christ has redeemed us, from the curse of the law, being, having become, a curse for us. For it is written, curse is everyone, who hangs on a tree.

[27:28] Watch this. Why? Look at it. That, the blessing of Abraham, might come upon, the Gentiles, in Christ. So, once we come, into Christ, the blessing, that God promised Abraham, becomes activated, in our lives, once we are in Christ.

[27:46] That's what makes us, joint, or fellow heirs. The blessing of Abraham, is activated. So, when you are in Christ, you are classified, in heaven, as the seed of Abraham.

[27:58] As the son. Because God told Abraham, I will bless you, and your descendants. Genesis, he says, blessing, I will bless you. God was swearing. Okay, go to the next verse, verse 15.

[28:10] The previous verse. The previous verse. Oh, we come back to Abraham, isn't it? God said, hey, Abraham, by myself, I swear. I swear. Hey! God said, Abraham, why would God swear?

[28:24] Why would God swear? He was making an oath. He's not swearing like, swear wage. Okay. Some people's mind, when you hear swear, I don't know.

[28:35] Not a swear word, but it's an oath. He said, I promise, an oath that cannot be broken. I make it foul. He said, Abraham, I have sworn, by myself.

[28:47] Those type, when you want to swear, or you have to make an oath, you need a guarantor. Someone who is bigger than you. So they can guarantee. He said, like when you're going to rent a property, and you don't have enough money, your father, your mother, your uncle, your brother, somebody must stand as a guarantor, so that if you don't pay, they can hold them responsible.

[29:04] And the guarantor must be more responsible, must senior, so long as finances or something are concerned. So when you are swearing by somebody, the person must be bigger than you. But who can be bigger than God?

[29:19] I've taught this before. Hebrews chapter 6. He said, because, Babu said, because God could swear by, please sit down, sit down, sit down. I know you love the word, sit down, sit down.

[29:32] He says that, for God, when he made the promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

[29:46] He swore by himself. Sit down, please. God swore by himself. That's what you see in Genesis chapter 22, verse 16. He said, Abraham, God said, Genesis 22, 16.

[29:58] He says that, by myself, now you can understand, Hebrew explained it properly. By myself, I have sworn, saying, because you have done, there are some these things when you do, God moves into a frenzy.

[30:11] There are some these things, I don't know what these things you are supposed to do. There are certain things, when you do, you provoke heaven, in your interest, or against you. Yeah. If heaven can be provoked in your interest, then heaven can be provoked against you.

[30:27] Yeah. God said, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son, then he said, in blessing, he said, blessing, I will bless you, multiplying, I will multiply your descendants, as the stars of the heaven, and as the sun, which are on the seashore, and your descendants, shall possess the gates, of their enemy.

[30:54] Don't be an enemy, of the church. He said, the gates of hell, shall not prevail. That's what God meant. The gates, of the enemy, they will take over.

[31:06] The security of the enemy, will be taken over by, God's people. When you touch, God's people, your defenses are off. Your immunity is gone.

[31:19] Any sickness, can jump on you. He said, they will possess, the gates of the enemy, your descendants. So God, blessed Abraham, and said that.

[31:32] And now, Paul, explained it. See, and all these things, it was not really unfolded. God was saying the thing, but it was not clear. We knew he said, his descendants, but it's not clear.

[31:43] That's why I have to take my time, and also teach. Pay adventure, the Holy Spirit will help you, to get it. Amen. And so, Paul says that, I, have, um, um, verse, verse, verse six again.

[31:58] Verse six. He says that, that the Gentiles, should be fellow, as of the, of the same body, and partakers, of his promise, in Christ, through the, God, that's why we can't stop, preaching the gospel.

[32:13] The gospel, allows you, to enter, into the, the inheritance. There's no need, to waste your time, listening to a preacher, who, in whose mouth, the gospel cannot be heard.

[32:28] The gospel is about, a message of, message about Jesus Christ, his person, and his works. What builds the church, is the message of Jesus Christ. What secures believers, is the message of Jesus Christ.

[32:40] I want to say something. Everybody listen to me. When you meet, someone, let's say, a guru, from the temple, and then, someone, who has just, finished, or is about to start uni, who doesn't even understand, anything about religion?

[33:00] What does it take? If someone, is an imam, I've met him, I want to preach the gospel to him, what are the things, I should say? Because for my classmates, it's easy. No. The gospel is the same.

[33:12] The gospel that saves, whether it's guru, imam, bishop, pope, the gospel that saves, is the same. We don't have special gospel, for people who are celebrities, and another type of gospel, for people who are, homeless.

[33:28] The message, for the homeless, is good for the prince. Hallelujah. We are, the message for the, the, the, the, the, um, murderer, is good for the police officer.

[33:41] It's the same message. Don't change it. Many people try to, okay, let me say it, in a way, please, just say Jesus, just talk about Jesus, and his work.

[33:52] Because it's not you, who saves. You can't convince anybody, into salvation. Not that dumb. You cannot convince, anybody into salvation.

[34:05] You might be a very good lawyer, with, oratorial skills. And, you're able to, argue your case. No, no, no. Because salvation, is not intellectual. Salvation, doesn't start from the, intelligence.

[34:20] Salvation, starts from the heart. When you speak the word, God finds himself, into somebody's, how come two people, can be hearing the word?

[34:31] Some of you, actually listen to me, are looking at me like, and others are also, okay. But you are the same, you came together. One person, is getting it. You are all, let's say classmates.

[34:43] You are a level of education, how come one person, is getting it, and the other person, is not getting it? So, what makes people, think that being, a Christian, means you are dumb. Are there no Christians, who are employers?

[34:56] And are there not, a lot of people, who don't believe, but they don't have a job? There are people, sitting here, you might not even, have a degree, but for some reason, you think that this guy, who owns his masters, and in church, your wife says, oh come on, please, that even tells me, you are not thinking.

[35:16] When it comes to, religion, and when it comes to, Christianity particularly, when it comes to, Christianity, and salvation, it's not got to do, with your intelligence, it's got to do, with the state of your heart, so I'm not trying, to preach, into your intelligence, I'm trying to speak, to your heart, I'm speaking to your heart, and I'm not speaking, as a politician, and I'm not speaking, as a socialist, I'm speaking, as a man of God, speaking the word of God, and the word of God, only works better, in your heart, yes, and when the word of God, is coming to your heart, you feel it, you feel that, this thing is getting me, this thing is getting me, don't harden your heart, open your heart, when Peter preached these things, they were cut, not to their mind, actually after, 237, and when they heard this thing, they were cut, to their heart, Stephen said, on circumcise of heart, not mind, the mind, they didn't, even though they were reasoning, with them, they were reasoning, into their heart, because you cannot be saved, from your mind, as I touched it, the other time, there is no intellectual, pathway to God, other than that, the researchers, would have found it, by now, is someone learning, something at all, praise God, let me go to the text, because I have to, try to run up quickly, ah, are you getting something, oh yes, that the Gentiles, should be fellow heirs, of the same body, that the same, is even another big, because it couldn't, have happened in the past, it couldn't have happened, in the past, the same body, and partakers, of the promise of Christ, through the gospel,

[37:02] I don't want to move from here, because, there is still a lot, a lot to unpack here, but, there is some way, I want to get to 10, I want to try, and get to 10, it's 10, my target is verse 10, I want to get to Jerusalem, verse 10, verse 7, interesting, of which I became, a minister, listen, I, I, I finished, my Bible school, degree, I did, Christian music, diploma in Christian music, and a degree in theology, and then I went, and did my master's, in Christian counseling, I had many classmates, who God is not using, in this magnitude, I have classmates, who are backslided, Bible school, theological knowledge, doesn't entitle you, to ministry, does that mean, theology is not important, it's good, at least, if you are going, to be teaching, it's good to be, very conversant, with the intellectual aspects, of what you are, dealing with, that's why it's important, so, he said, wherefore,

[38:16] I have made a minister, oh, I became a minister, according to the, that's what determines, your level of ministry, it's a gift of grace, that is a work, effectually inside you, grace of, gift, according to the, gift of the grace, of God, which was given to me, by the effectual, working of his powers, something is working, in my life, that's what this thing, is showing in my life, don't try and copy, you can copy my actions, but you can't copy my grace, if you are copying, our works, our actions, our activities, you are better off, trying to copy, our grace too, because, what we are doing, the resources, is determined by grace, not just by the actions, yesterday, the camp, some of you came to the camp, yesterday, I took over, just after 12 midday, I stood on my feet, like this, till almost 10, practically, 10 hours, of standing, no break, if you try it, one bishop asked me, some time ago,

[39:19] I want to do a camp, but how, so, what do you fill, the space with, because, you preach, what do you do, you break for, time of war, or some games, what do you do, what do you fill, the time with, how long can you preach, I said, no, no, we preach, throughout, and we, it's even different, if we are giving, point, we preach, pure word of God, and the Bible, called 10 scriptures, and, I've not been going, to my notes, have you seen me, you see notes, no, not at all, that thing must be, living in you, to be able to have, some level of effects, it must live in you, the word of God, is so strong here, you see a man, I'm a living evidence, of what God's word, can do, when he captures, somebody's heart, this morning, before I started preaching, I told the church, those of you, who happen to be around, I told the church, I'm very, I know you'll be blessed, and I told the church, that, I am even so excited, about what I'm about to share, because when I left, when I was driving, and coming,

[40:26] I just, my spirit was like, I was just excited, without music, no praise, there was nothing, my spirit was bubbling, my spirit, so when I came, you see me quiet, but there was a movement, effectual working of his power, effectual working of his power, from inside, where is it coming from, the word of God, has captured my heart, the word of God, he says that, in Philippians chapter 3, he says that, I press on, towards the man, from verse 12, verse 12, is a very interesting thing, Philippians chapter, three, not that I've already attained, or I'm already perfected, but I press on, that I may lay hold, watch this, lay hold, of that, for which Christ, has laid hold, give us, King James, I like apprehend, he says that, that I might, you know what, someone has been apprehended, you know what it means, what does that mean, been caught, something has caught him,

[41:28] I said, Paul said that, I follow after, I'm pushing, if I may, apprehend, that for which also, I have been apprehended, by Christ, Christ apprehended me, so I can apprehend something, that's why I said, me the prisoner of Christ, I'm apprehend, I've been apprehended, I've been, he has laid hold, of me, he has captured me, he has taken over me, some of you here, when I look at you, I know, something has taken, over your life, something has taken, over our lives, they won't understand, they don't know, why we are so excited, they don't get, why we are so happy, but it's not our fault, something has taken, over our life, something has taken, over our life, we have been captured, we have been captured, we have been captured, we have been captured, something has taken over.

[42:22] He said, please sit. He said, there, I have been, I became a minister according to the gifts of the grace of God given to me by the effective working.

[42:46] Keep me on King James. Can you say effectual? I like the effectual. Yeah, that one. You know, sir? But the effective is the same as effectual, but I prefer the effectual. But the effectual working of his power.

[43:02] So his power went into work, effectively working, producing this grace that was given by the working of his power.

[43:14] That makes me become a minister. It's not because hands just were laid on me. It's not because I went to Bible school, even though that's important, even though laying of hands is important. Others were, hands were laid on others too, but that's not the same effect.

[43:29] Colossians chapter 1 verse 23 and 25. 23 says that, talking about being a minister, it says that if you continue, Colossians 1 verse 23, if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye had, which was free to every creature in heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

[43:53] He's telling you that I became a minister of this gospel, not the government, not different. So don't force me to preach what you want to hear. It's the one who made me a minister that determines what I preach.

[44:05] So there's no, nobody God has called without a message. So when you want someone to say God has called me, I have to ask you, what is your message?

[44:19] What is your message? What message did he give you? When God calls you, there's a message attached to God. Verse 25, Colossians 1 verse 25, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God, which was given to me for you to fulfill the word of God.

[44:38] Wow! I received stewardship from God. I'm a steward. The stewardship was directly given to me from God. If you see me standing here and speaking like that, I speak the way I speak because I've received stewardship from God.

[44:54] And it shows. How do you know it shows? Look at the impact on your life. 2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 5, He says that He has made us able, not that we are sufficient in ourselves to think of anything as being ourselves.

[45:10] So when I say, this resource that is coming through my life in your life, I'm not pointing attention to me. What I'm trying to tell you is that it's true that there's something working with me that is showing in your life.

[45:22] But what is, I'm not sufficient in myself to claim that this is entirely, entirely unilaterally from me. It cannot be. He said, look at the next verse.

[45:34] He said, God has made us able ministers of the new... It's God who enables you to do what I do. Wow! People try to do it the way we do it, and it fails!

[45:47] He fails. See, I can preach for 10 hours and quote over 200 scriptures without looking into notes.

[46:02] Over 200 scriptures is very small. And sometimes I'm wondering, this is not natural. I know it's not natural. I know it's not natural.

[46:15] Try it and see. It's not natural. It's not natural. In fact, there was a time I thought, oh, what's happening to me? When I was in secondary school, one of my friends said I was asleep and I was quoting Matthew chapter 2.

[46:31] That thing is not natural. Wow. Last, a few years ago, before COVID, or is it after COVID or before COVID, I was, I was, you know, those clocks, small clocks you put in your room and alarm clocks and digital ones.

[46:50] Just like the one in the back there. I think I was just from the bathroom or something in my mind. I'm always listening to Bible and praying, playing the Bible and I saw something. It's like 3, it's 3 p.m.

[47:03] So 3.15. When I saw it, which scripture is that? I actually thought it was scripture. Then I came to and it's not scripture. It's time.

[47:13] It's time. It's not scripture. They told Paul, Paul, much learning is making you mad. You are beside yourself, Paul.

[47:27] Can I give up I say, Paul, you are beside yourself. Much learning is making you mad. Yes. Now, as he does make his defense, God was speaking his defense.

[47:40] Festus! With a lot of people. Paul! You are beside yourself. Much learning is driving you mad. Paul said, I'm not mad, but I'm speaking. Listen to what Paul, he responded back. He said, but he said, I am not mad, most noble festus, but I speak the words of truth and reason.

[47:56] What I'm saying, how do you know a mad person? What they are saying, it doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense. He said, Paul! You are mad. He said, I'm not mad because I'm speaking reason. But the thing has captured him so much.

[48:10] When he opens his mouth, he's operating at a higher level, higher plane, above the ordinary mind. So sometimes, people think you are extreme. It's not. How do you know someone is not extreme? When there's reason.

[48:22] When the reasoning is coject. It's clear. When you follow their thoughts, their line of thought and their reasoning, you don't have a choice. You actually push into corner to believe what they are saying.

[48:33] Because it's so reasonable and that's what I told you every good preacher is supposed to do. Every good preacher is supposed to make clear case from Scripture. Preacher upon Scripture that you don't have any other conclusion but agree with what the Scripture is saying.

[48:45] That's what good preaching is supposed to be doing. And that's why you can't have good preaching without Scriptures. It cannot be because it's useless preaching. Because preaching that works must be as preaching God is speaking through.

[48:58] And God doesn't speak when the Bible is closed. I feel like preaching. Let the Bible speak. Well, let me finish. I want to finish but you guys are too good.

[49:12] Ephesians chapter 3 says that back to the text I've been made a minister according to the factual working of the Bible. Let's go to the next verse, verse 8. Verse 8 says that unto me who this is another another one unto me who is less than the least of all all the saints what does that mean?

[49:28] What does that mean? Less than the least of all the saints Jesus said that amongst all men Matthew chapter 11 verse 12 it says that verse 10 actually down somewhere there it says that there's none greater than John the Baptist.

[49:47] However the least did you see that Jesus used that word the least. So when we are in the church there can be levels of ranges of our spirituality not our sandship our sandship is the same but when it comes to the saintship or the rating good let me use that our rating in heaven our sandship is the same but our rating is what determines our rewards and Paul said me I'm the least of all the saints in fact he wasn't worthy of being called a saint because he persecuted the church that's what he said he said I did not I was not worthy of being because I persecuted the church he spoke about it Paul himself right so he said to me who am to me who am less than the least of all the saints is this grace given listen if you need something Satan will always remind you of your messy past yes because you are likely to have some there are things in your past that should be covered and those are the ones

[50:57] Satan likes to use against you he will tell you the number of abortions you have committed God cannot use you recently somebody asked a question can God ever forgive me for the abortions I have committed because I feel every time I'm praying I feel God has forgiven me that is the voice of Satan telling you that God because God cannot hold sin against anybody who is in Christ why do you think Christ died the way he died so that God can forgive you the way he does but Satan will use your past and use guilt against you you are a murderer you stabbed somebody some time ago you have been smoking wheat so much so all your intestines are gone Satan will have accusation against you accusation upon accusation Bible calls him the accuser of the brethren his job is to accuse so anyone who accuses people is working for Satan he said just said

[52:00] Revelation chapter 12 Satan is called the accuser of the for the accuser of our brethren is cast down which accuses them before our God day and night don't be an accuser every time you have something negative about some Christian this person has done this this person is sleeping around this person every time when we hear you say something positive about Christians leave that work for the devil and atheists and other people leave that kind of work for them don't ever develop appetite to be an accuser it never upgrades your life it never promotes your life it never takes you anywhere being an accuser most people who keep accusing people never go forward when you are in a relationship with somebody who is always accusing you you want to run away from the person am

[53:03] I right the last person you want to be in a relationship with is an accuser you did that last week sometimes when you have to tiptoe and work on X you don't know when you offend them choose never to be an accuser in your work with God don't be as experts in looking for faults to accuse other Christians if they are doing evangelism in a way you don't like at least if they are not talking about preaching Satan just leave it leave it they are not doing anything wrong just that they might not be doing it the best but at least the little they are doing it reward their intention when I'm walking in town and some people are preaching or giving leaflets and it's Christian I take it I want to encourage this guy I take it but you a Christian brother you brother reviver you sister reviver somebody is preaching and giving you hand you walk away just like a nobody you are discouraging them

[54:12] I thought you were a believer I thought you were a Christian there are a lot of fake Christians nowadays in town how do you know you're fake their attitude towards other believers tell us how fake you are accuser accuser there's no future for an accuser time is not I would have shown you from that text he was cast into the bottomless feast they overcame him by the word of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony you always an accuser overcome an accuser if you can keep the word of God and the testimony of the blood of God in your life you survive!

[54:59] Paul said I was the least of the saints when he talked about being the least 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 9 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 9 he says that again that I am the least of the apostles now there are two lists he has released here the first one is list of the saints the second one list of the apostles but at the same time he was!

[55:28] saying that when it comes to apostles he is behind no one he said I am not behind the chief of the apostles 1 Corinthians chapter 11 actually chapter 12 verse 5 or 11 verse 5 I want to show you something that's why I have to check to make sure thank you Jesus somebody say thank you Jesus thank you Jesus there it's not yeah so it says that for I suppose I was not give us new kids please that's a scary word for I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent whoever is senior of the apostles I am not inferior to them I am not inferior to them whoever but this is the same person who said

[56:30] I am less than the least of the apostles he said I am less than the least of all the saints and in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 he says that I am the least of the apostles do you know why he said that he said because that I am not me to be called out because I persecuted the church of God and he said I was like one who was born out of Judaism I was born in the wrong time so but this one he says that I'm not behind the chief of the apostles I'm not less than any of the chief of the apostles let's see the King James again that thing is coming back we manage it NIV but I do not think I am in the least inferior to those super apostles you want us to keep going let's look at the amplified then we will go to the

[57:44] New Living Translation yet I consider myself in no way inferior to the so called super apostles super but there's no apostle who is so super that's the amplified let's go to New Living Translation but I don't consider myself inferior to those super apostles who teach such things alright American Standard Version and then we move on quickly American Standard Version Version for I consider myself not in the least inferior to the most eminent apostles the most senior figures in the apostles I am not the least of any one chapter 12 verse 11 2nd Corinthians 12 11 2nd Corinthians 12 11 it says that I have become a fool in boasting remember I taught you this boasting is not worth it but sometimes to defend something you may have to go off we don't talk about a lot of things but sometimes it's necessary to silence accusing voices you have compelled me you see what I'm saying compelled me for

[59:04] I ought to have been commended by you for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles though I am nothing when it comes to miracles look at the next verse it said for all the signs of an apostle said that truly the signs of an apostle will accomplish amongst you when I came to you I was no least but now here we see that Paul said I'm the least of all the saints now when he said I'm the least of all the saints he's talking about his person when he not least because it's the pure work I'm doing I only come to my person I can consider I'm nothing that's why I said even though I'm nothing that's why I used the word I'm the least of all saints me who don't deserve to be used by God this grace was giving me that's what he's trying to say if a person like me listen if

[60:05] Paul was giving the grace Paul was murdering people and closing down churches how many churches have you closed down then God can use you better God can use you is there Ephesians verse 9 Ephesians 3 9 and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world has been hit in God who created all things by Jesus Christ I explained this text so I think it will be okay if I want my destination is 10 I have to mention 10 and finish is that okay verse 10 says that it's too strong it said to the intent that's the intention of God behind the whole work the reason why God gave him the grace that's the intention behind God had an agenda to the intent that now not later previously things were hidden but now it has been revealed and

[61:09] I am that so that I can preach it and my preaching it had an agenda God's agenda behind it! to what's intention to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be made known this is too strong to so heavy it's so heavy this is good it's too good yummy yummy yummy yummy this is too good are you enjoying like I'm enjoying it so good to the intent that now say now now most of you didn't say it now when when when not in the days of Moses not the days of Elijah not in the days of

[62:10] Isaiah Jeremiah Nahum Habakkuk not even John the Baptist because he operated as an Old Testament prophet but now after the cross on this other side of the cross the cross has the left side and then the right side the before side and after the side and it says that before the cross a lot of things were hidden but after the cross now things can be that's why the Holy God had to come after the cross so Jesus said it is your advantage that I go where are you going the!

[62:51] where are you! he! I'm back he said I'm going to the grave I'll be back it's your advantage that I go because if I do not go the Holy Spirit the comforter will not come when I go I will send him and when he comes he will convict the world of sin yes he said when he comes he will convict the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment of sin because they believe not of sin because they believe they believe they do not believe in me of righteousness because I go to my father and you see me no more of judgment because the ruler of this world is judged now now unto this were the audience who are the audience the principalities and powers were in heavenly places wow unto them they were the audience said now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places what are they supposed to witness in heavenly places might be made known the manifold wisdom of

[64:33] God God said you want to know how wise I am give me the church some of you are missing something I know you did because you got distracted by this which is good one the wisdom of God but that's not the focus he says that might be made known by the church it takes the church to put the wisdom of God on display God said you want to know how wise I am give me a church Satan says you want to know how stupid I am I will attack the church every madness every mental health problem most of it is demonic assault God so when Satan hijacks you one of the easiest places you want is to attack the church God said when I want to show you how wise I can be and my complicated wisdom my many sized wisdom my multifarious wisdom my complicated wisdom my my my like an intricately!

[65:42] cut dime oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh you say I want to know how wise God is by the church he said demons angels the principalities there are referring to spirits principles powers and authority in heavenly places okay remember I said for rest not against flesh!

[66:07] Ephesians chapter 6 verse 13 of 12 and 13! For rest! against flesh and blood but against what? Principality against what? Powers against rulers of the darkness of this world and against wickedness in high places Ephesians chapter 1 verse 19 the power that works towards us which he exited verse 20 which he wrote in Christ when he raised him far from the dead and seated him on his own right hand in heavenly place look at verse 21 far above what principality and power and might and dominion and everything principalities power might dominion and he says that now these principalities powers they are going to be the audience of the display of the wisdom of God and the church is going to be the object God said

[67:07] God said I'm going to use the church to show principalities and powers my wisdom my wisdom so they look in the church and they realize you are also in the church so they feel the church is dirty but when they now check from God's scope the church is so pure and they are confused that this God is wise in 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 6 7 and 8 1st Corinthians chapter 2 some of you are always ahead of me you know the scripture is so good some of you just know the scripture so much and that's my objective that when they catch your scriptures will be jumping out of you Jesus Paul said let the scriptures dwell in you richly Colossians chapter 3 verse 15 the 16 the scriptures must!

[68:00] every aspect is scripture and it says that back to the text 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 6 however we speak wisdom over you see verse 4 says that when I came to you I did not come to you with enticing words of man's wisdom there's human wisdom and there's divine wisdom so it said when I came to you I did not come to you with enticing words of man's wisdom but in the demonstration of the spirit and power why so your faith will not rest in the wisdom of man by the power of God so by saying something we are downplaying wisdom he said how be it we speak wisdom verse 6 how be it we speak wisdom among them that are mature mature when you are growing in the Lord we speak more wisdom when you are baby Christians then we have to just stay power but as you are growing we have to begin to take the reasoning to another level however we speak wisdom among those who are mature yet not the wisdom we speak is not the one the world speaks nor of the rulers of this age which is coming to nothing it doesn't go anywhere they think they are wise but they eventually found out that they are fools

[69:22] Bible says thinking they are wise Romans chapter 1 they became fools Romans chapter 1 from verse 22 23 somewhere there it says that professing to be wise they became fools because the wisdom of this world comes to a note the wisdom King James says comes to a note the wisdom of this world leads to nothing it's coming to nothing after you give all your life to it later you realize that I've wasted my life what you get what you get out of it oh you wasted your energy with these boyfriends and girlfriends where did it take you to where did it take you you got nothing after doing all the drugs and wasting your time and now you have criminal records and you have been blacklisted no bank wants to open an account for you now after all this now you realize that where did it even lead you nothing now you are looking for a job the wisdom of this world comes to nothing look at the number of girls you have slept with where did it lead you to instant gratification but that's all that is pleasure for a moment

[70:37] Moses said I will walk away from pleasure for a moment and go for pleasure forever more the wisdom of the world wisdom of the world your friends tell you that you got to get drunk so that you're a man where did take you to I'm telling you the wisdom of this world comes to nothing the wisdom of this world comes to nothing the wisdom of this world comes to nothing but he said we speak the wisdom that is not of this world but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery the hidden wisdom which God ordained before for our glory you can only find it with us if I were you I would shout my loud hallelujah he said which wisdom we speak look at verse 8 which none of these rulers of this world knew for had they known they would not have seen him.

[71:55] Yeah. Since I've come here, let's work it through to verse 13. Ah, I like the verse 9.

[72:07] But as it's written, no eye has seen, nor ear heard, neither has he entered into the heart of any man the things that God has prepared for those who love him. Hallelujah.

[72:25] Verse 10 says that, but God has revealed them to us through his spirit, for the spirit searches all things. Yes, the deep things of God.

[72:38] For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the spirit of God.

[72:51] Now, we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which of God that we might freely know the things that have been freely given to us of God.

[73:03] Verse 13, which things we speak, not in words, which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things.

[73:14] Do you want to ask spirituality, spirituality, spiritualia, spirituality, exterminate? That's the next verse. Spiritualia, spirituality, but the natural man don't want to see the things of the spirit of the Lord, but they are foolishly, who is the spirit of the Lord?

[73:32] No, can he? No, them. Because they are spiritually discerning. Come on, give Jesus praise. Thank you for choosing to listen to this message by David Entry.
