[0:00] Hallelujah. Thank you for tuning in to this powerful message by David Entry at Karis Phase 2.! Our Christ Centred Youth Services. You can never find Christ outside of the open word of God.

[0:14] May Jesus Christ reveal himself to you as you listen. Ephesians chapter 4 verse 12. Talking about giving apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher.

[0:29] For the edifying of the saints. For the work of the ministry. For the edifying of the body of Christ. And this I took my time to explain, right?

[0:40] Verse 13. Till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.

[0:52] Unto a perfect man. Unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. That we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the slate of men and cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive.

[1:20] Father, amen. Father, thank you for the opportunity to get into your word. We pray, navigate us through the parts of your word that you want us to know.

[1:34] On this blessed day, reveal Jesus to us. Sharpen our discernment and heighten our sensitivity. Because as many as are led by the Spirit, they are the sons of God.

[1:49] For the Spirit himself bears witness with our spirits. We open up ourselves. And help our spirits to be enlightened. Help our spirits to be light towards you.

[2:00] And to receive what you've got for us. To the glory of your name in Jesus name. Amen. So in Ephesians chapter 4. It tells us clearly that God's agenda or God's intention and God's purpose and plan for giving us.

[2:20] For giving an apostle. For the apostolic office. For the prophetic office. For the evangelistic office. For the pastoral office.

[2:32] And for the teaching office. God's eternal and plan or divine plan is in the store for the equipping of the saints.

[2:43] For the saints to do the work of the ministry. So that work of the ministry results in the edifying of the body of Christ.

[2:55] Now when the body of Christ is built up. When do we know the body has been finished building up? So we keep building it. Till verse 13 starts with the word. Till.

[3:06] So it's an ongoing thing. Till we all. The we is talking about believers. Till we all come to the unity.

[3:23] Or the Greek word unity is oneness. We all. It's like we have arrived at oneness. We have oneness of the spirit.

[3:36] We have to keep it through the bone of peace. But. The. As we do God's work. Or as we are equipped. As we are equipped. As we are equipped.

[3:47] We are equipped to build the. The body of Christ. Till. We all come to the unity of faith. This time. Not the unity of the spirit.

[3:59] This is the unity of faith. Or particularly the faith. Till we all come to the unity of faith. To the unity of the faith. The faith. Is talking about. The doctrines that we believe in.

[4:11] The doctrines of Christianity. Is called the faith. The set of beliefs. The set of beliefs. That underget Christianity. Till we all come to the unity of faith.

[4:24] And when we come to the unity of faith. It brings us to the. And to the knowledge of the son of God. That. That I might know him.

[4:35] So. Pastoral ministry. Evangelistic ministry. Prophetic ministry. Apostolic ministry. And the teaching ministry. Is to help somebody. So somebody can do the work of the ministry.

[4:48] For the building of the. The body of Christ. So that when the body of Christ. Is built. We all come to the unity of faith. And. To the knowledge. Of the son of God.

[5:00] That means that. We can know Jesus more and more. We can know Jesus more and more. So my job. Is to help you. To do the work of God.

[5:12] To build the church. And then we all come to unity of faith. And the knowledge of the son of God. After being a church a while. You should know Jesus more. There is no way you can know Jesus. Better. Than in church.

[5:23] The knowledge of Jesus. Is not outside of the church. So don't let someone. Who doesn't do church. Attempt to tell you. They can tell you about Jesus. And what. Are you going to know Jesus. You can know Jesus. He said. Upon this knowledge.

[5:34] Upon this revelation. I will build my church. Yeah. So the church is built. On the revelation of Jesus. If you are not in the church. If you are if you are not exposed. To church life. There's no way you can really know Jesus.

[5:45] That's the thing. That's the thing. That's the thing. That's the thing. That's the thing. That's the thing. in the church. If you are not exposed to church life, there's no way you can really know Jesus.

[6:06] Hallelujah. So he says, so we all come to the unity of faith, to the knowledge of the Son of God. You remember Jesus said, who do you say I am? He said, you are a Christ, the Son of the living God.

[6:25] Matthew 16, 16, and in John 20, 31, he says that all these are written that you might, or that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, that you might believe, but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. And the Bible says that the teachers, apostles, evangelists, prophets, teachers, and pastors are given so somebody will come to the knowledge of the Son of God. He said, watch this. This is a good one. He said that the Word of God, the Bible, this is written that he might believe. And he says, apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher are given the resultant effect is that he might come to the knowledge of the Son of God.

[7:27] In John, he said that he might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Now he said, you are not just believing, you've come to the knowledge. You know him. You know him. That's what I've been teaching on. Paul said that I might know him. Philippians 3.10, that I might know him.

[7:47] That I might know him. I said the other time here, and I'm saying it again to keep sinking in, that unbelievers need to know Jesus savingly, and the believers will get to know Jesus increasingly, progressively, increasingly. We have to know Jesus. And the way to know Jesus is, one, through scripture and through the work effectual biblical work of the apostle, prophets, evangelists, pastor, and teacher. So if you sit under the ministry of a genuine pastor, you will get to know Jesus, and you will also do the work of the ministry. You will do God's work. You will do the church work.

[8:40] Good, pure, apostolic, pastoral, evangelistic, and prophetic ministry empowers people to do the work of God, to come to a better level of faith, and of the faith, and to know Jesus more, to the knowledge of the Son of God.

[9:02] It says that. So we all, let's all read it out from the screen. Let's go. To the measure of the stature of the fullness. That's also another nice one.

[9:18] So we come, so we all come to the unity of faith, and to the knowledge of the Son of God. This, what it plays out to mean is, we come to the, we come to a perfect man.

[9:37] You come to a perfect man, and to the measure. So when somebody is growing in the faith, whilst we all grow in the faith, this, what it means is that, it's not my personal faith I grow in.

[9:53] As a believer, I can just focus on my own life, and my work with God. But that's not what God's main objective, is that as we are pastored, as you are pastored, we come to a unity of faith. So now, he's pastored and pastored, we are all beginning to appreciate the proper, the proper grounds of Christianity, and growing in it. And then as he also gets pastored, he also joins us, the unity of faith.

[10:26] And until we come to the unity of faith, knowing the Son of God, Jesus, in a certain way can never happen. You can read about him, you can listen to, you can know Christ unilaterally, comprehensively.

[10:39] If you personally just want to know him, and just read and live by yourself, you go and live somewhere in the forest, by yourself, studying, you will know him by the very limited fashion.

[10:53] You will know about him, by to be in a very limited fashion. Limit, somebody say limited. But as you, we grow together in the work of the ministry, because there is a certain dimension of the knowledge of God, the knowledge of Christ, that comes through doing the work of the ministry, coming to unity of faith with others.

[11:17] And we come into the knowledge, then we come into the knowledge of the Son of God, not alone. So we all come to the knowledge of the Son of God. Am I communicating something to you?

[11:29] So, you need other Christians to be a strong Christian. Look at somebody and tell the person, you need other Christians to be a strong Christian. Tell other person, you need other Christians to be a strong Christian.

[11:48] Then tell somebody, I need you, you need me. To be a strong Christian. Tell somebody else, we need each other.

[12:02] Tell someone, we need one another. To be strong Christians. Hallelujah! So, we all come to the unity of faith, to the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man.

[12:22] So, now, when we come to unity of faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, it invariably brings us to being a perfect man. What does that mean?

[12:33] Colossians chapter 1 verse 28. It says, Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man. Now, this is Apostle Paul talking about the fact that we preach Christ.

[12:47] Alright, let's all say, we preach Christ. We preach Christ. Say it louder. We preach Christ. For the last time. Louder. We preach Christ. So, the Apostle said, we Apostle, remember I told you about the Apostolic Ministry, the Prophetic Ministry, the Evangelistic Ministry, the Pastoral Ministry, and the Teaching Ministry, is meant to equip people.

[13:08] How do you do that? By the preaching of Christ. So, we said, Apostle, Apostle said, we preach Christ, we preach Christ, as we are preaching Christ, that's how we do it, warning every man, and teaching every man.

[13:27] There is a difference between preaching and teaching. In every sound preaching, there will be elements of teaching.

[13:43] Yes. In teaching, you can teach without preaching. But you cannot preach sound without teaching.

[14:00] So, there will be elements of teaching, elements of explaining things to people, elements of getting people to come to an appreciable comprehension of the economy of God at their level, of the work of Christ, of who Christ is, of what the church is, of how things work, and understanding the scripture.

[14:23] So, preaching is to expound, or is to charge. Charge! So, it's like, Rise up! Rise up! It's a new day, I'm telling you, Jesus will save you!

[14:36] That's preaching, it's declaring something, making an announcement, and saying something. That's preaching. But teaching is explaining things. And so, teaching, a preaching, good preaching, will contain elements of teaching, so someone will understand better.

[14:54] But you can teach without preaching. Now, here it says that, him we preach, and our preaching, the expression of our preaching, is in warning every man, and teaching.

[15:16] So, his preaching, he said, there's warning, warning is almost like the actual preaching. You! You have to repent! They asked Peter, Peter, what shall we do? Peter was preaching, telling them, you have to repent.

[15:27] Repent! John the Baptist was preaching, the kingdom of heaven is ahead! Repent! Repent! That's preaching. Announcing, announcing, announcing, announcing something, preaching, declaring.

[15:41] So, he said, as we are declaring, we are warning people, so him we preach, we preach Christ, warning and teaching every man in all wisdom.

[15:52] In all wisdom. That we may present every man, perfect. Huh? Did you see that word there?

[16:02] Yes. Perfect. Perfect doesn't mean perfection of life and behavior. Perfect means full maturity in Christ.

[16:15] Full maturity in Christ. When women are pregnant and they do their scan, usually they measure the size of the fetus.

[16:32] Then they, you go for another two weeks, they measure the development. Okay, the fetus is this, this is the size, inches, big, large, and they measure.

[16:45] So, in three weeks, it should be bigger. That tells you the baby is developing. If after a month is the same way, may that never happen to you, Jesus. That means that something is wrong.

[16:56] The baby is not growing. So, they measure, they measure. So, at three months or 12 weeks, old fetus cannot be as big as your head.

[17:12] It cannot be, right? It cannot be. Now, if the baby is 36 weeks and still looks like that, how many of you know that's not a perfect baby?

[17:26] No, that's not a perfect baby. So, what are you talking about to a perfect man? You have been in church three months, three years. You still are thinking like someone who just got born again.

[17:40] You are not growing. You are not growing. Time is going. You are not growing. How long can you be in year seven? You got to year seven when you were 11 years?

[17:58] 11 years, year seven. You are now 17 years. You are still in year seven. You are still in year seven. You are not perfect. You are not perfect for that class.

[18:10] No. You are not perfect for that class. So, it says that we are being equipped. We are being equipped. So, we all come to the unity of faith to the knowledge and to the knowledge of the Son of God.

[18:26] Then, it says to a perfect man. The church now is about 2,000 years old. There are elements in the church that has not even made Jesus.

[18:38] So, baby, it's not part of the church. But the church, so, revelation of Christ in the Bible must even be stronger in our time. Not deeper because there's no different revelation.

[18:53] To a perfect man. To a perfect man. We are being equipped to be, to, to, to come to the unity of faith, to the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man.

[19:06] Hebrews chapter 12, chapter 5, verse 13. Hebrews chapter 5, verse 13, it says, by this time. It said, for every man who partakes only of milk is unskillful.

[19:22] You see, that's another word, the unskillful. Not matured. Unskillful in the word of righteousness for he is a babe. The next verse, for though by this time.

[19:34] You ought to be teachers. You still need someone to teach you again. We've taught you already. We have to teach you again. Again. No.

[19:47] Give us a different translation and English standard version in the verse 13. For every, every, everyone who lives on milk is unskillful. Let's go to New American standard version and we can go to NIV.

[20:04] For everyone who partakes only in milk is not accustomed to the word of God. All right. Let's go to NIV and then amplify it. Anyone who lives on milk being still an infant.

[20:19] You see, he's talking about maturity. Him, we preach warning, teaching, warning and teaching every man to present every man perfect, mature, so, he says that, let's go to, that's NIV.

[20:36] Let's go to amplified. Then from there we go to, for everyone who lives on milk is doctrinally inexperienced and unskilled in the word of righteousness.

[20:51] Let's go to the massage version. Milk is for beginners. Inexperienced in God's way. So, that tells you that there's a time when somebody's a beginner.

[21:08] But you are not supposed to stay at the beginning stage. When you are being pastored and you are exposed to some dimensions of true, godly, Christian, biblical ministry, it's supposed to upgrade you.

[21:22] I see somebody getting upgraded. New living translation. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and does.

[21:38] It doesn't know how to do what is right. I know some of this on your mind as I'm saying this. It doesn't know how to behave right. It's in church.

[21:50] It doesn't know how to behave right. Back to the original text. It says that so we all come to the unity of faith and the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man.

[22:03] Ah, this one is a mouthful. To the measure of the stature of the fullness. That means that the fullness when Christ feels something, the fullness of Christ has a certain stature.

[22:20] And you have to measure up to that stature. So there's a standard where you have you know when they want the child to go on a ride, there's height restriction.

[22:34] They say go and stand and ride. And if you are not above that level, they say no, you can't go on it.

[22:45] Sorry. You haven't gotten to that stature yet. You haven't measured to that stature. In the same way, in the realm of the spirit, there are people who will be told no.

[22:59] You want certain levels of breakthrough. You want certain levels of promotions. You want certain levels of supernatural opportunities. God will have to say no because you are not at that level yet.

[23:12] So we all come to the unity of faith and the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man and to the measure of the stature of the fullness.

[23:25] Ephesians 1 verse 23, it talks about the church is the fullness. So it's that which is his body, talking about the church. It doesn't make sense until you read from verse 22.

[23:37] Verse 22 says that, and he put all things, the Bible says, God put all things under Jesus' feet and gave Jesus to be the head over all things to the what?

[23:49] To the church. Some of you are tired. To the church. So he gave him to be head over all things to the church. And he says that, let me tell you about the church, the next verse.

[24:01] The church is, it says, which is his body? What is the church? His body. What's the church? His body. What's the church? His body. Whose body? Christ.

[24:12] Christ's body. The church. So he gave all things, he gave him to be the head over all things to his body, which is the church. And what did he say about the church? It's his body, not just his body, it's the fullness of him who fills all, that's, that, I mean, that's too much, that's too much.

[24:31] He fills all in all. It's everywhere. He fills all in all, omnipresence. He fills all in all, yet the church is his fullness.

[24:43] So that's why I said you cannot know Christ truly outside of a church life. Because the body, the church, is his fullness.

[24:55] The church is his fullness. You want to know how Christ looks like on earth? Get into the church. Live the church life. Live the body life.

[25:06] You can experience the fullness. And the body life is lived through being also equipped. So we are being equipped to do the work of the ministry.

[25:17] So you have to be doing the work of the ministry, but you don't just have to do anything you feel like doing. You have to be equipped to do the work of the ministry. And as you do the work of the ministry, the body is being built, and we are coming to the unity of faith, to the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of him who feels all.

[25:42] So we measure. That's why some people say, the church loses its relevance when we are not living as the fullness of Christ.

[25:56] Because then Christ does not get the chance to express himself fully. That's the church. Now let's look at that text. It's always good to go to the text.

[26:09] Oh yes. Oh yes. Yes. It's always good to go to the text. Keep an eye on the text. Now, it says that he gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, so we all come to the unity of faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the fullness, the measure of the fullness of Christ.

[26:37] Watch the next one. This is the one. This is the one. That we no longer, it's okay to be a child for a time. That we should no longer be children.

[26:53] Let's all read that first line together. Let's read it. Let's go. That we should no longer be children. One more time. That we should no longer be children. Can I have the ladies read it for us, please?

[27:03] That we should no longer be children. It looks like today people are very tired. Can I have the ladies read? Ladies, let's do it better. Okay, let's go. That we should no longer be children.

[27:15] Sometimes when it comes to the word of God, I'm beginning to experience that it's not easy to get it wrong when it comes to ladies. they love the word of God.

[27:28] Sisters, can we read it out loud again? That we should no longer be children. This sounds so amazing. It sounds so anointed. Amen.

[27:40] Let's hear the gentlemen. Let's go. That we should no longer be children. Man, let's read it again. Let's go. That we should no longer be children. I like that.

[27:53] one more time. That we should no longer be children. Okay, let's see a different translation.

[28:05] Let's see. That we should no longer be children. Let's go to the next translation. All right. So, English Standard Version says that so that we may no longer be children tossed to and fro.

[28:20] This is so deep. I can't go beyond this text. It's so good. I'm telling you, it's so good. So good. Let's go to American Standard Version, New American. As a result, we are no longer, as a result of coming to the full stature, full stature, we are no longer, we are no longer to be children.

[28:45] Amplified. so that we are no longer children spiritually immature. Spiritual immature. Spiritually immature.

[28:56] We are no longer children spiritually immature. Then, the next verse, sorry, the next translation. Let's go to NIV. Okay, let's go to NIV, then we descend into NLT.

[29:11] That we will no longer be. That's the word I'm actually looking for. Infants. Infants. The Greek word is actually translated as infants.

[29:23] Infants. Infants tossed to and fro or back and forth by waves. Waves in somebody's hair. It's distracting you.

[29:35] Wait. Wait. NLT. Then, we will no longer be immature like children.

[29:50] I'm a message bible. No prolonged infancy.

[30:04] This is nice.

[30:21] He said, no prolonged emphasis among us, please. Please. We will not tolerate babes in the woods.

[30:37] Small children who are an easy mark for imposters. Easy mark. Easy mark.

[30:50] Someone goes online and says that church is called, oh yes, that's why the pastor preaches like that. Infant. Infant.

[31:02] Infant. Infant. You are actually proving it now. He used no longer children, but you are a toddler, infant. Infant.

[31:16] Infant. Baby in the woods. Yeah, baby in the woods. Yeah. Baby in the woods. First Corinthians chapter 3, verse 1. First Corinthians chapter 3, verse 1 says, I, and I, brethren, could not speak to you as spiritual people, but as canal, as to canal, as to babes in Christ, in Christ.

[31:47] Babes in Christ. So there are people who are babes in Christ. It's not based on how long or short you've been in church. Your infantileness have signs.

[32:03] There are signs of spiritual infantile. Our infantileness. Spiritual infants. Spiritual babes.

[32:15] Do you want me to give you signs of infantileness? Infantileness. Signs of infantileness. Signs of infantileness. They are, okay, let's look at the text.

[32:29] I think it will help us. First Corinthians 13, 11. First Corinthians 13, 11. Oh! When I was a child!

[32:40] Spoke as a child. How do you know, how do you know a child? You listen to them speak. When people speak. When I was a child, I spoke as a child. I understood as a child.

[32:51] I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put away child. Tell someone, put it away. Put away your toys!

[33:07] Put away your toys! Shake somebody on the shoulder. Tell them, they are talking to you. Don't pretend like you don't. Don't pretend like you don't. Don't pretend like you don't.

[33:22] Let's pray. Grow up.

[33:52] When it comes to skillfulness in pornography issues, skillfulness in sin, be a baby. Be happy people are telling you, you don't ask or you don't know a lot. Be happy when people tell you, you don't ask or you don't know what's going on.

[34:05] Yes, I don't know. I'm a babe. I'm a babe when it comes to sin. But when it comes to spiritual things, I know a lot. Oh, yes. I know a lot. Instead of boasting, you see, when it comes to sin, some of you are overweight and oversized.

[34:23] Yeah. The Bible says, when it comes to understanding, don't be a child. But when it comes to sin, when it comes to malice, it's okay for people to know.

[34:33] That's why you don't, to say, that's why you don't know a lot. You don't know a lot. You are a virgin. You have never tried that. Yes, I don't know. Yes, I've never drank alcohol. I don't know.

[34:44] I've never gotten drunk. I don't know. Instead, when it comes to understanding, don't be children. That's a serious statement. When it comes to brethren, do not be children in understanding.

[34:58] However, in malice, be babes. You should boast that you don't know some things that sinful people like and know. You should boast.

[35:08] You should boast that you don't even know some terminologies that are on the street that people are using. I'm a liar. You should boast that you don't know it. Oh, yeah. Yeah. You should boast.

[35:19] And innocence, when you lose it, does it? You never get it back once you lose it. Some of you should boast that you are a virgin and pride yourself in it. Yes.

[35:30] So, quickly, let's look at Ephesians chapter 4, verse 14. I would indulge you, if you don't mind, to read it out from the screen aloud with me.

[35:45] Is that okay? Please, let's go. Let's read it out loud. Amen. That we should no longer be children. Those two and three, and carry about with every word of doctrine, by the three of men, in which we do.

[36:00] Amen. So, it says that we should no longer be children. That means that at the point we were children, but no longer means at the point you were. But you can continue being a child, especially when you are being taught, the pure word of God, being equipped.

[36:19] It says, we should no longer be children. One of the signs of infantileness is you are carried about, you are tossed to and fro. Unstable, inconstant, or flaky.

[36:32] Yeah, that's the right term you use. Flaky, fickle, inconstant, unstable. Children are unstable. Children are unstable.

[36:45] They can be laughing right now and crying in a moment. What makes them cry is something petty. What makes them laugh is something petty. And so, it is difficult to keep their, they have a very short attention span.

[37:02] Children have a short attention span, short attention span, short attention span. When you see people who say, me, I can't listen to preaching that is longer than 40 minutes, but you can watch movies that is longer than two hours.

[37:18] You can watch movies. You can watch other things. You can watch football.

[37:30] Football. You can watch it over one hour. One hour, 20 minutes. One hour, 40 minutes. One is going extra time. You can watch it. You can watch boxing.

[37:42] And you don't get to say, I don't like watching football. Because spiritually, when you're a babe, your attention span is very short. Children like entertainment.

[37:57] So, that's why you come to church and people are not dancing to entertain you. You are bored. There are times we can come to church and from the beginning, we start preaching. Preaching, preaching till we finish.

[38:09] And those who are not babes are fine. Attention span of children is very short.

[38:22] Very short. Children are tossed to and fro. Today is here. Tomorrow is here. We are following you up. We can get you. I'm so happy. That church has blessed me.

[38:33] The next week, we can't hear you again. We can't hear you again. Ah! Spiritual babies. But the truth is, when you are a spiritual leader, you must have a large heart for babes and for the matured.

[38:50] Because one day, the baby shall grow. Some don't intend to. But some do because at every point in time, somebody will be a spiritual baby.

[39:02] So, he says that, preach the word. Be instant in season. Second Timothy chapter 4. And out of season.

[39:13] Verse 2. Out of season. Look at it. He says, convince, rebuke, exalt, with all long-suffering. Be ready to have endurance and patience.

[39:25] Because when you are dealing with people, some of them will be very flaky and unstable. Because they are children. They are infants. Spiritual toddlers. Spiritual infants.

[39:36] And the science of infantileness is to and fro. Flaky. Unstable. Inconstant. You always have to entertain them. Children, can you imagine? They'll be playing with this toy.

[39:47] They cry over it. Give it to them. After a few moments, they are bored. Yet they need something else. So every parent knows that you have to keep buying new toys for children.

[40:01] Because they are old toys. They don't like it anymore. Something that they were so excited about, another time they are not excited. You are so excited about the choir. Now you are bored.

[40:13] So excited about ashes. Now you are bored. So excited about church. Now you come in late. We have to almost like beg you to come to church. You are a spiritual babe.

[40:29] Spiritual infant. Spiritual infant. You are in church by the spirit. You've been in church for one year. For two years by the spirit. You are still on feeding bottle.

[40:42] In the spirit, you are still wearing pampers. Every time we have to change you and clean you. Oh! You have not been potty trained.

[40:59] So we no longer be infants or children. But look at the point. There's something here. Talk to and fro and carry about vulnerability. Every.

[41:11] Not every. Every. Anything that can come. That tells you doctrines are wind. It says. It says. That doctrine is wind.

[41:22] That will carry you. Carry you. Carry it about with every wind of doctrine. That means. You see how teaching is important?

[41:35] Yeah. The only way you can be stable is be exposed to right teachings. Right teachings. Children are carried about with every wind of doctrine.

[41:46] They are watching. Listening to something on. Even sometimes. It's not a whole message. Sometimes. It's called shots. YouTube shots. That's all.

[41:57] It has changed you. You saw somebody's YouTube shot. It has changed you. You saw some TikTok reel. Or something. It has changed you. Someone's WhatsApp status.

[42:11] Just something short. Whether long or short. It doesn't take long. To sway you off. Carry you off. Carry you off. Carry you away.

[42:21] You are an infant. You are an infant. It says. Carry about with every wind of doctrine. So 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 3 and 4.

[42:34] Paul had to warn Timothy. He said. As I age you when I went into Macedonia. Remain in Ephesus that you may charge some. That they teach no other doctrine. Because doctrines are winds that can carry people away.

[42:49] It can carry you away from where to where. Away from Christ being the center of your pursuit. By the time you realize. Other things have taken center stage. You have been carried away from the center which is Christ.

[43:04] You have been blown away. That's why one of the translations use wave. Every wave has wind behind it. There's a wind that is causing the wave. And the wave is carrying you away.

[43:17] Yes. Is it a American. New Americans. As a result. We are no longer children to be. We are no longer to be children. Tossed here and there. By waves. And carried about by every wind of doctrine.

[43:31] Tossed about by waves. It's a wind. Behind the waves. And it's moving you further away from Christ. It's blowing you away. It's something is.

[43:42] Girl. Something is blowing you away. Why are you easily blown? You are easily blown away. Blown off. You are drifting so quickly.

[43:53] You are drifting. You are drifting. Hebrews chapter 2 verse 1. You are drifting. You are drifting. It says that therefore.

[44:06] We must give a more earnest heed. To the things we have heard. Lest we drift away. You are drifting away.

[44:17] From center point. Drifting away. From mainstream. Drifting away. From main focus. Drifting away. Childishness. Makes it easy for you to drift.

[44:31] Doctrines. Teachings. That is why. Even me. Besides the waste of my time. I am stable by God's grace. But I won't listen to.

[44:44] A lot of people preaching on YouTube. I won't listen. Yeah. It's not everything you should be listening to. It's not everything. Some people you don't know.

[44:56] You do not have to even follow. Listen to. Or follow. Let alone to follow. You don't have to listen to them. Teachings can be very dangerous things. And if you get it wrong.

[45:06] So Paul said. I charge you. Stay. So you charge some. That they teach. No other doctrine. Look at verse 4. Verse 4 says that. No give heed to fables or endless genealogies.

[45:21] Which cause disputes rather than godly edification. Which is in faith. Some things don't build you up. It causes contention. And who.

[45:32] Okay. Who wrote the book of Enoch? Which one? We have this Bible. We haven't finished reading it. You are telling me about book of Enoch? Can you.

[45:43] You are telling me about book of Enoch? Book of Thomas? What do I need it for? These are endless. You don't know. It's the white people took it away. So they can. They are better. Deeper things.

[45:54] There's nothing deeper anywhere. If the scripture cannot reveal Christ to you. There's nothing outside of scripture. That can help you. Nothing outside of scripture.

[46:04] Everything we need to know concerning Christ and our God is here. You don't need anything extra. My children.

[46:16] They are like. Oh. This is nice to hear. Ah. I never knew about this. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah.

[46:44] to and fro by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men. They are tricking you. They will tell you.

[46:56] Some people can say that they excluded the gospel of Thomas from the Bible. Were you there when they excluded it? Why are you talking like you were there?

[47:14] 300 years ago, you were not there. I wasn't there. And this thing has changed my life. Why should I bring something that I know? The thing that has changed my life said that is not part of it. Just for the records and for your information, most of those books were not written and they are not, it's called, inspired.

[47:35] All scripture is given by inspiration. Some of them as soon as you read it, you can't tell. What's that? Huh? There's something you must be so fallen to appreciate it.

[47:48] So some of it, you don't even have to read two pages. You read it, you know, no, no, no, no. So there are things they inserted that that's strange. And some of it it's like you read the Bible, a book that is supposed to be part of the Bible and you're saying that somebody was, Peter emailed Paul.

[48:05] Laughter Laughter So right away, you know that this was not part of it. It's just a later addition. Somebody's forcing it.

[48:16] I'm telling you, those strange books are so easy to spot that this is not of God. Because it's not inspired. It's not inspired. But people like endless genealogies.

[48:29] Fables. Oh, tell me. You see, ah, I know something Christians don't know. Laughter Tell me, tell me, tell me. Then we make sure. So you see, you don't even know the Bible. You don't know the Bible.

[48:40] Let me show you something. Look, look. You are still a sinner. You are not born again. You don't know Jesus. You're on your way to hell. You want to show me the Bible? Ah! And there are people who Satan wants to blow them off from Christ.

[48:53] So he introduces them to all this junk. Amen. When you are not maturing, these are the things you can develop appetite for. It's a sign that you are a babe.

[49:04] Because Paul said, I could not feed you with meat but milk. Why? Because you are still infants. You are toddlers. You are babes. Babies. That means that some things cannot be communicated to you when you stay at a certain level.

[49:19] Yeah, is there? I fed you with milk, not with solid food. Not with solid food for until now you were not able to receive it.

[49:31] There are things pastor will be teaching and you are not able to receive it. Not because you are not intelligent but because you are still spiritually a baby. An infant. You are not growing up. So you have not developed the capacity to process this spiritual revelation and insight.

[49:46] Only based on scripture. Nothing outside scripture. But babies have this proclivity and appetite. Spiritual baby. Appetite for things that sound amazing.

[49:57] because it's a bit tantalizing intellectually. It's intellectually tantalizing. Intellectually appealing. But spiritually it's off.

[50:07] But they can't tell when it's spiritually off. Some of the signs of infantileness is inability to discern danger. Somebody said it. They can't tell when there's danger.

[50:18] Vulnerability. You have to grow so that when winds begin to blow it doesn't carry you away from Jesus. because every doctrine is a win.

[50:28] Let's all say that together. Every doctrine is a win. Say it again. Every doctrine is a win. So beware of what doctrine you give yourself to. Tell somebody. Beware of what doctrine you give yourself to.

[50:42] Every doctrine. And it says that by the cunning deceitfulness it says that by the trickery of men in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.

[50:58] The mastermind behind it is Satan. It's to make sure he swears you away from mainstream Christ-centered pursuit. Because, listen to this, your Christ-centered pursuit is a border for the devil.

[51:16] Your Christ-centered pursuit is a border for the devil. So he has to swear you off. But I see God is helping us all to grow. God is helping us all to grow.

[51:30] God is helping us all to grow. In the name of Jesus. So shall he be. And all shall say. Did you learn something today?
