[0:00] Hallelujah. Thank you for tuning in to this powerful message by David Entry at Karis Phase 2,! Our Christ Centred Youth Services. You can never find Christ outside of the open Word of God.

[0:13] May Jesus Christ reveal Himself to you as you listen. It's time to get into God's Word. Amen. And when we come together, the most important aspect of our gathering is when the Word of God is taught.

[0:38] It's the teaching of God's Word. Because when God's Word is taught, God gets to speak. God never speaks when the Bible is closed. A closed Bible equals a muted God.

[1:03] So anytime we come together and it's time to teach God's Word, that means it's time for God to speak to us through the teaching of His Word. And it is the teaching of God's Word that procures blessings in the lives of people.

[1:26] In fact, even salvation is at the mercy of preaching. So He said, He said, How shall not be put to shame? There's no shame. He says that for whoever will call on the name of the Lord shall not be put to shame.

[1:47] He said in verse 11, you and verse 12, You won't be put to shame. Whoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame.

[1:57] Because God is rich to all who call on His name. But how shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?

[2:08] So your believing is necessary first. But you can't believe. How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?

[2:19] So hearing is what produces believing. Believing is what generates calling. And calling is what guarantees saving, salvation.

[2:30] So we need to, for one to be saved, he has to call. For the person to call, he has to believe. For you to believe, you have to hear.

[2:41] And he says, how shall they hear without a preacher? So the preaching, when we preach, it gives God the opportunity to speak into the hearts of people so as to produce salvation in their lives.

[2:59] That is why in our gatherings and our meetings, the preaching and the teaching of God's word is paramount, is cardinal, is prominent, and it is super essential.

[3:19] So I believe that somebody is about to be blessed. Your amen is an expression of your faith. I believe somebody is about to be blessed.

[3:37] In Jesus' name. Let's get into the Bible. I want to read from Luke chapter 23.

[3:49] I'm reading from verse 39 to 43. Luke 23, 39 to 43 says that. Luke 23, 39 to 44.

[4:29] Luke 23, 39 to 44.

[4:59] Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Here ends the reading of God's word.

[5:14] Amen. Shall we please pray? O Lord, let the meditation of my heart and the words of my mouth be acceptable to you.

[5:28] As we preach and teach your word. As we preach and teach your word. I pray let Christ be revealed. Lord, speak to us through the teaching of your word.

[5:42] And through the preaching of your word. And through the preaching of your word. That a sinner will be saved. The sinning will be convicted. The captive will be set free.

[5:54] The discouraged will be encouraged. The faithless will believe. And the sick will be healed. All this to the glory of your name.

[6:05] In Jesus name. Amen. Hallelujah. In Romans chapter 7.

[6:19] Verse 24 and 25. Shall we all read it out from the screen please?

[6:33] Let's go. One more time. Oh, wretched man of fire.

[6:44] You will deliver me from this body of death. All right. Let's read it out loud for the last time. Oh, wretched man of fire. You will deliver me from this body of death. Now, this text can tell you that somebody is desperate.

[7:01] He's desperate for a solution. Somebody is looking for help. This is the cry of a helpless person.

[7:14] He said, oh, wretched. The word man there doesn't mean male. It means wretched person that I am. Oh, wretched person that I am.

[7:28] Every human being has some wretchedness in their lives. Oh, yes. I know you look okay. You look all put together.

[7:39] But you know. You're actually not okay. There's an aspect in your life you are not in control of. And you really want to be in control of it. But it looks like every time you try to bring it under control, this is the result.

[7:54] Oh, wretched man that I am. Who will deliver me from this body. Everybody who is somebody has a body problem.

[8:05] You see. Your body problem is, it's a body of death. I want to submit to you, brothers and sisters, there's a difference between the body of death and body of sin.

[8:22] Even though it's referring to this same body of yours. Called flesh. In Romans chapter 6 verse 6, it makes mention of another type of body over there.

[8:33] Romans chapter 6 verse 6 says that. Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him. That a certain type of body might be done away with.

[8:49] What type of body is it? What type of body is it? I can't hear you. What type of body is it? He says that, I got to get rid of this body. But if I'm getting rid of my body, that means I'm killing myself.

[9:05] I need to be alive on this earth. In your spirit, you have spirit consciousness. And that's where you can have God consciousness. In your soul, you have self consciousness.

[9:17] But in your body, you have world consciousness. You can't exist in this world without your body. However, there's a problem with the body. Yeah. It's called the body of sin.

[9:31] Pastor, is there a difference between the body of sin and the body of death? It's referring to the same thing. Every human being has this body called the body of sin. And it is also called the body of death.

[9:47] What's the difference between the body of sin and the body of death? Do you want me to tell you? Some of you don't seem interested. Oh, yes. Are you sure you are interested?

[9:58] Oh, yes. There's a difference between the body of sin and the body of death. The body of sin is the body that has the proclivity to sin.

[10:13] Let me put it in a different way. It's a body that has been hijacked by a personality called sin. It's a body that has been enslaved by sin.

[10:29] It's a body that has been enslaved by sin. A body that has been possessed by sin.

[10:45] It's the body that has been invaded by sin. It's a body that has been captured by sin.

[10:58] And a body that has been controlled by sin. So, then, if you're... Do you know why...

[11:10] In fact, in UK, here, in our country, every plane, even the train that are traveling from, let's say, London to Birmingham or London to some...

[11:23] Luton must have a laboratory. Because just in case this body begins to ask for help, there must be a place where you have to quickly go for relief.

[11:38] It's necessary. On a plane. Can you imagine a plane without a laboratory? In this country. And it's flying from here to America. To Australia.

[11:51] To Australia. That's bad. In this country, every restaurant... Have you... I mean, if you go to a restaurant and they don't have a restaurant, it's a problem.

[12:05] Because all the things you are eating... Every venue, like event venue, is supposed to have... It's basic. It's because the body can be triggered anytime.

[12:18] And the body will need help. There are many people in town. They're walking around, but they are not free. Because sin has enslaved you.

[12:31] Jesus posted this way. In John chapter 8, verse 34. He said, anyone who obeys... He said, Jesus answered them, Most assuredly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is a slave to sin.

[12:46] So, oh, oh. So, it looks like sin is not represented here as an action. It's represented here as a slave master. Yeah.

[12:57] I know you don't like slave trade, but you are a slave. This is why it's sin trade. Sin has enslaved you that you are not on your own.

[13:10] You are not free. It's called the body of sin. So, in Romans 6, 6, he calls it the body of sin. In other words, it is...

[13:22] It's inclination is sinning. Do you understand what I'm saying? Yeah. It just... What are your eyes for?

[13:33] Drinking. Drinking. Singing. Some of you say singing. Singing. Your eyes just for seeing. See, some of you, your eyes...

[13:44] It's your biggest problem. Even in church, your eyes bothering you. You see, your body of sin.

[13:56] It is so invaded by sin that sins find it natural to express in this body. Easily. You can lie like a parrot.

[14:12] Lying comes natural. Envy comes natural. Stealing comes... Do people have different things that come? It can manifest in different ways.

[14:23] Look at how many girls you've cheated on. It's called body of... Sin. Look at how many boys you've cheated on.

[14:38] Tell someone, look, you have a body of sin. You see, some of you... Look into somebody's face.

[14:49] You're already having a crash. You're having a crash. So look. My friend! It's a body of sin. Okay, I think you should... Instead of telling somebody, you have to confess.

[15:01] Tell the person... The person... I have a body of sin. Sin is natural for the body. Sin is natural for the body. Yeah. Sin is natural for the body. Yeah. Sin is natural for the body.

[15:14] Then, the body of death. How about that? Romans chapter 7, verse 24. It says that, oh, wretched man that I am, who will deliver me from this body of death?

[15:25] Death. It's like... When we talk about the body of death, it doesn't have what it takes to do the things of God. It's so dead towards God. This same body, when it comes to sin, it's so much alive.

[15:39] It's so much alive. When it comes to death... When it comes to God, I'm dead, oh. I can't produce anything to please God. And I've been trying.

[15:50] I've been trying to be good, you know. I've been trying my best to do something. It's like... I just... I just don't know. I want to do the right thing. But the body is a body of death.

[16:03] The body is a body of death. And it's so much a body of sin. Every time I want to do the right thing, it's a body of death. Then the body of sin rather begin to do the wrong things. Why are you addicted?

[16:15] The body of sin. Body of sin. That's why it is... Christ cannot have anything against you. Because he knows.

[16:26] Listen, you want me to trust you? No, I don't trust your body. You yourself, you don't trust your body. Nobody should trust your body. You just want somebody to trust your body.

[16:43] But I think nobody should trust your body. Because even yourself, you don't trust your body. Because it's a body of death. It can... Sometimes you might be...

[16:53] Okay, you can try. But every now and then, it shows you that... Listen, I'm dead towards God. And it becomes more accentuated when you attempt to reach out to God.

[17:07] It becomes very frustrating. That is... You're frustrated. So many people don't even know they have a body of death. Because they ran away far from God.

[17:17] So they don't even believe God. I don't do church. Why don't you do church? Because you have a body of death. That's why you don't want to do church. You don't... Church doesn't need you.

[17:28] You actually need church. You need church. You need church. More than church needs you. You need the sun.

[17:39] More than the sun needs you. S-U-N, sun. The sun is shining. I don't know at the moment. But maybe outside. Maybe outside.

[17:50] It's not... Yesterday was sunny. Yesterday in London. Yeah. I think yesterday was. A beautiful day. Oh, nice day. Stay indoors and don't go out.

[18:03] It doesn't affect the sun. It doesn't even know. Church does not need you. God does not need you to be God. But you need God to be good.

[18:15] Why? Because you have a body of death. Death. A body of death. All of us.

[18:27] We have it. Jesus puts it this way. In John chapter 15. Verse 5. He says that abide in me. For without me.

[18:39] Ah. I am the vine. He are the branches. He who abides in me. And I in him. Bears man. For without me. You can do nothing.

[18:51] Why? Because you have a body of death. You have the body of sin. Jesus said without me. That's a strong claim. Without.

[19:02] For without me. You can do nothing. Without me. Without me. I can be standing here and preaching. But without Christ.

[19:13] I can do nothing. That is why. We all have to learn. How to depend on Christ. He said. Your only hope. Is to abide in me.

[19:23] Now watch the hour he put it. He said. Oh. Wretched man. That I am. Wretchedness. Is not based on money. Is not based on.

[19:35] Where you live. Is based on. Your natural state. Yeah. Wretchedness. Is based. On. Your natural state.

[19:48] So. If you want to be natural. Your hair will not be nice. if you want to be natural your mouth your breath will stink yes that's why shower gels most of the time they add some fragrance inside because they know naturally you can't have it nobody smells nice naturally read my lips nobody smells good naturally if we leave you to nature you will constantly be wretched if we leave you to how you should be or how you are that's my nature that's my nature we don't want it because it's not good enough let alone for you to attempt to have some level of interaction with a perfect God it will make you look too bad that's why people think the shortcut it will cut things short is to run away from God but the farther you go from God the deadlier the deadlier your body gets it's a body of death it's a body of death and it's certainly a body of sin but the good news is there is a way there is a way out without dying you can be out without death dying physically you can have this body be controlled or be under your control it said oh wretched man wretched person look at the way you look so polished a lot of people cover up so much with the way they look yes but you know every human being has something to fix what I'm talking about is very trivial it's just surface physical it's not a problem we all we all nobody's perfect physically so it's fine girl enjoy your life by more weeks buy it please it's not a sin it's actually smart yeah it might be needed sometimes yeah buy them different makeups the one that works for you this is even just official when you die right now all those things don't matter all those things don't matter whether you have clean boxes whether you have wigs you don't have weight whether you have all those things don't matter because your life here is very short but after here there's gonna be a problem and somebody started thinking about life after here how I live life here well that it can spill over to life after here and he attempted to do it he found out that if I want to relate with God

[23:47] I need to reform my life and change the things I do and he says that I tried to do it and I realized I can't do it I tried to do it and this body of death I tried to do it and I realized I have a body of death so he said I feel so wretched oh wretched man that I am who I need help I need help people are crying help help help but they are crying to the wrong people help help help we are walking in town if you can listen in the spirit many people are crying help help there are people here you are not hanging yourself but you can tell I'm dying help what wretched man that I am when you come to church you see people dancing you dance too but you know you need a lot of help because you are very far from God you you know I'm talking to you you are very far but I have good news for you don't fret some of you are scared you think

[24:48] I came to stand here because I knew about you I didn't know about you so you are looking too serious it rather gives you away relax chill out I feel like preaching I feel like preaching I feel like preaching relax somebody is crying for help we are all living walking in town oh wretched man that I am oh I need help the good news is the scripture that scripture doesn't end on verse 24 there is a verse 25 no no wait wait go to verse 24 let's go read the other let's go oh wretched man that I am you will live the king of his holy of death I didn't hear some of you didn't read that now let's go let's go now let's see the next verse so he says the first sentence there is what just before the exclamation mark let's read let's go

[26:09] I am born through Jesus Christ our Lord one more time I am born through Jesus Christ our Lord one more time I am born through Jesus Christ our Lord in John chapter 8 verse 34 I told you Jesus said that anyone who serves sin is a slave to sin but verse 36 is better verse 36 said therefore if the son makes you free you are free indeed if the son makes you free you are free indeed if the son makes you free you are free said hallelujah verse 34 verse 34 says that watch this I know you didn't notice that he said whoever commits sin this one is an action but the second sin is a now it's a boss it's boss said this is a reflection that this is your boss sin says it's a slave to sin you see this is

[27:39] Mr. Epuno Graphi are you in okay sorry Mr. Epuno Graphi you think you are enjoying but you're actually a slave slave is what you think you are enjoying slave I'm so upset I'm so upset I'm so upset I'm so upset I'm so upset why is it that you can't stop no no no no okay let's put religion aside let's be objective here why is it that you can't stop you know it's not good for your health it's ruining so many important things in your life look look your education no no let's think about this something is ruining your life but you are not in control of it you think you are enjoying but you know sex is ruining your life you say okay

[28:55] I'm in charge I won't do it again but you went after a year you were planning on oh sorry but but today Jesus will set you free Jesus will set you free Jesus will set you free shout you we don't see what has enslaved you but try and be living your life and the thing is always following you when you travel to Ayana Pah in the hotel it's there you went to Miami it came followed you to Miami you went to Luton it followed you to Luton and you be living your life you got a job in the city it followed you there in uni it was sharing your room with you walk on bro you said you were enjoying your life but whatever you claim to be enjoying is actually enjoying you in the tech industry in the tech industry there is something they say that any product you are getting free it means that you are rather the product so Instagram you are getting Instagram free no you are actually the product no you are getting emails free no you are actually the product in the tech industry there you see those of us on YouTube free you are the product because the more they have your attention the more they are making money from you the more you are viewing you are watching things on Snapchat the more you are on Snapchat the more you are a product of the more you are on TikTok the more TikTok is making millions it's similar in the spirit when you think you are enjoying something what you don't realize if it is not of God

[31:23] I mean if it is not of God you are a slave to that thing and that thing is rather enjoying you and making you a slave Jesus said again whosoever commits sin is a slave to sin but somebody can walk free Romans chapter 6 verse 16 in Romans chapter 6 verse 16 it says do you not know that to whom you present yourself slave to obey you are that one's slave whom you obey whether sin leading to death or disobedience leading to sorry or obedience leading to righteousness so you can be a slave of God or a slave of sin today remember Shadahaya I'm submitting I'm submitting something to somebody today is a day of liberation for someone it's your day of freedom it's your day of freedom it's your day of freedom it's your day of freedom it's your day of liberation hallelujah hallelujah

[32:44] There are people walking in town and are in shackles.

[33:00] They are not free. They are in shackles walking around. Oh, wretched. And sometimes you don't know how wretched you are until you try to do God.

[33:12] Then you realize that you are dealing with the body of death. The body doesn't have what it takes to do God. You don't have what it takes. You have the will, but you don't have the power to do it.

[33:27] That's where we begin to realize wretchedness. Who will save me? But thank God for Easter. The text we just read, Jesus Christ was on the cross and the beauty of the cross is he wasn't the only one on the cross.

[33:47] He was on his cross, but Bible says that they crucified two criminals. 32 says that there were also two others.

[34:01] Criminals led with him to be put to death. If you see Jesus when they crucified him and someone, if you didn't know what was going on, now Jesus is at one of the better.

[34:17] And you are walking in town. It's all people on the cross. So Jesus, ah, what do you do here? Jesus, what do you do here? You don't belong here. Why? Because Bible says that they couldn't find any fault with him.

[34:31] So that's not his place. But what is he doing here? Pontius Pilate said, I have a problem. He said, I find, Luke chapter 22, verse 15 and 16.

[34:43] He said, I find no fault in him. I've examined him and I sent you to Herod. Herod also did the same. And Herod too couldn't find anything. So you know what, guys, let me just punish him and let him go.

[34:56] Even that, it tells you how faulty he was. Because why would you want to punish someone who is innocent? But just for political reasons, let me punish him for you. And then, I'll punish him.

[35:09] I'll chastise him. And then, so he can go. Because I have a problem here. I'm supposed to write the charges before I send him.

[35:21] So he carries the charges on him. Like a placard. But I don't have anything to write. Guys, help me. He's, Pontius Pilate said, help me find something.

[35:32] I can't find anything with him. In, in John chapter 19, verse 4, he brings Jesus out. He brought him out and he said to them, Pilate then went out again and said to them, behold, I bring him out to you that you may know that I find no fault in him.

[35:50] He's not supposed to be there. He's not supposed, this guy is perfect and faultless. The only human being who lived, who knew no sin.

[36:03] He doesn't know what it means to sin. He's the only one who's overshadow higher. He, he, he had this body, but the body was not invaded and dominated by sin.

[36:18] In Romans chapter 8, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sent forth his son on the account, in the likeness of sinful flesh. So he looked like sinful flesh, but he didn't have the sin that made the body, made him that, he didn't have a body of sin.

[36:37] And so, what is he doing on the cross with people with bodies of sin? It's not supposed to be there. The Bible says that he was tempted at all points.

[36:50] Hebrews chapter 4, verse 15, he was tempted at all points like us, yet without sin. 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 21, God made him who knew no sin.

[37:03] He knew no sin. The thief on the cross said to him, he says that, listen, he said to the other thief, verse 42, he said to the other thief, that this guy here, we deserve what we are going through, but this guy has not done anything wrong.

[37:24] Don't you fear God? Seeing that we are under the same condemnation, but, verse 41 said, but this man has done nothing, even the criminals knew that he didn't belong.

[37:36] He said, don't you fear God? We deserve what we are going through, but this guy, let's see from the Message Bible, from verse 40, Message Bible from verse 40, let's see, but the other one made him, shut up!

[37:50] Have you no fear of God? You are getting the same as him. The next verse, we deserve this, but not him.

[38:01] He did nothing to deserve this. But, brothers and sisters, what, what is an, the conundrum is, what is an innocent person doing on the cross with criminals?

[38:18] He didn't, I'm trying to submit to you that he never belonged there. He didn't belong there. Bible said, he gave himself for our sins, not for his sin.

[38:32] First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 3, that how Christ died for us, he didn't have sin to die for. So, the Bible says, the wages, sin is death.

[38:45] But he has not called sin to die. The wages, death, death is as a result of sin. First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 56, it says that, the sting of death is sin.

[39:02] The sting of death is sin. So, when sin comes, death is authorized to come. But when there is no sin, death cannot come. So, why should a sinless person die a criminal death?

[39:17] And, that's why Pontius Feli said, if you are so desperate to get this guy something, let me just punish him. Because, as for death, execution, is for the wildest criminals.

[39:29] And, there is a, there was a murder. Luke chapter, chapter 20, 23, verse 18, called Barabbas, a murderer. He was convicted murderer. Everybody knew him.

[39:41] And Pontius Feli said, can I release this one? And leave this one? They said, no! No! Release Barabbas and crucify Jesus.

[39:52] Verse, verse 23, they requested, verse 23 of Luke, 23, Luke 23, 23, nice to remember, isn't it? But, they were, they were insistent, demanding with loud voices, that Jesus be crucified.

[40:08] He said, let the criminal go. But, is someone following what I'm saying? I'm just trying to underscore the point, that Jesus was without fault. He was sinless.

[40:19] The only sinless person who lived, had to die a shameful death of criminals. So, criminals on the cross said, hey, you don't belong here, we know it.

[40:32] The other guy, instead of, asking for, why are you here? He didn't, survey, did a survey, of why, he should have been inquisitive enough, to think, I don't, I belong here, but, he doesn't belong here.

[40:54] You're too, pure to be here. You know, when you go to prison, you meet other prisoners, they tell you why they are there. That's one thing that happened, some of you know what I'm talking about.

[41:06] It happens in prison, they discuss it, say, I was here, I killed someone, I was here, I stood, I was here, I jumped on a train without prayer, I slapped a police officer, different things. When you go to prison, you hear so many different things.

[41:18] And so, they have been discussing before, they were inmates, and their mates inside there. And, but, this guy, where did he come from? And then they told him, this guy, so they knew their card, they were carrying, he didn't carry any card.

[41:34] They knew that this guy is innocent. So, he should have, explored a little bit, the way this pastor is preaching, he knows something I don't know. The way this church guys are so excited, I wish I have, a little bit of, their excitement, without, spliff, or alcohol, or other substance.

[41:53] Some of you can, some, the people listening to me, you will never know what it means, to be happy, without substance. Some can't even sleep, without, help of, medication.

[42:07] Is it because you are a bad person? No! Because of this, body of death. The problem is not you, it's their body. It's the body, that you were born with.

[42:22] That's why, Bible says that, God did not send his son, into the world, to condemn the world. Why? Because, the world is made up of people, with bodies of death. So he didn't come to condemn, but he came, to identify.

[42:36] So when they let, Barabbas go, that criminal, they said go, and then kill this one. He said, that's good, because this way, I came to be.

[42:47] An innocent man, on the cross, with criminals. But, this guy, one of the guys, instead of, trying to think carefully, he started ranting, and talking, based on his pain.

[43:01] I don't like these people. The church, they preach too long. They are too noisy. They are too loud. Explore, what this can do for you.

[43:15] Because, it looks like, the people there, are all happy. He didn't explore. Say, you know, when you are on the cross, you struggle to talk, because, the diaphragm, is, just below the lungs, to help the lungs, to, pool in air.

[43:33] So, when you are on the cross, your lungs are stretched, your, sorry, your diaphragm is stretched, it's right under the ribcage. It's stretched so much, that, you struggle to, get it to contract, and expand, to inhale, and exhale.

[43:48] So, when you speak, you are releasing breath, and so it's difficult to speak, when you are on the cross. So, you can speak, but, when you are getting closer, to your death, you run out of breath, you just can't speak at all.

[43:59] So, the little breath you have, you don't have to be using it, to be talking. But, he, oi, oi, Luke chapter 22, verse 39, oi, one of the criminals, who am I on earth?

[44:15] They say, if you are the Christ, save yourself, and save us. Start with you, because you can't save me, if you can't save yourself. But, what he didn't know is, he is there to save them.

[44:31] He's not, he wasn't there to save himself. He shouldn't have started, by railing against you, and said, save yourself. He deserved to be here, that was me. No. He's been here, he didn't deserve to be here, but he's here, because of you.

[44:45] And you, I'm, I'm identifying with you, to let you know, it doesn't matter how vile, your crime is, how vile, how far away you've been, from God, I am still here, to pull you to God.

[44:57] I'm here to pull you to God. I don't have to be here. Jesus didn't belong there. So what was he doing there? For you. For you. So that one day, you can say, thanks be to God, that this body of death, this body of death, had you set free.

[45:15] He hung on the cross, and then the thief said, save yourself. He didn't mind. Because, if you didn't have anything to say, you better shut up. The other guy said, voy voy voy voy voy voy voy voy But, Lord, he's not done anything.

[45:51] We deserve what you are going to. He shouldn't be here. But I feel, I have a sense that he's here for us. Two criminals, they haven't done anything better outside.

[46:05] They're all the same fit. The same fit. It's not like this one's father is a pastor. Not like this one's uncle is a bishop. Nothing like that. It's not that.

[46:15] Whatever they had done was irrelevant. They were all criminals. Whatever you have done, when it comes to God, is not relevant. What is relevant, you must know that you are dealing with the body of death.

[46:29] That's where it starts from. Stop comparing yourself to others. It might make you look good for a moment. But you're still burning hell. You can't say, I'm not bathed for two days.

[46:41] But my cousin, if he hasn't bathed for one day, smells more than me. Please, please, stop. Don't compare yourself to people. Just jump in the shower. When you're on the plane, sometimes, just before landing, 40 minutes to landing, especially if it's a long-haul flight, everyone wants to use the restroom before the seatbelt signs are switched on.

[47:11] Especially if it's an overnight flight. People wake up around that time. And they want to have breakfast. And usually they want to. They are best. They want to go in. And usually, there's always a queue.

[47:23] So, I always time it and go an hour earlier before the queue begins to mount up. Because I don't like you in a plane and you are waiting. Where are you going?

[47:37] You are not going anywhere. So, you have to wait. And some people, when they go there, it takes ages. Like they are in the labor world. So, there is a queue.

[47:52] And we are all in the same predicament. Listen. Nobody is better than you. And you are not better than anybody. When it comes to salvation. You might be richer than somebody.

[48:04] You might be more educated than somebody. You might have more access to some privileges than somebody. You might be taller than somebody. You might be shorter than somebody.

[48:15] You might be bigger than somebody. You might have longer hair than somebody. You might be hairless. Dyed hair. Braided hair. Long hair.

[48:26] Short hair. All those things are completely irrelevant. Nobody is better than you. And you are not better than anybody. It says, Oh, wretched man that I am.

[48:38] Who would deliver me from this body of death? Then, he says, Thanks be to God. Or, I thank God. Verse 25. I thank God through Christ Jesus.

[48:52] Same criminals. One said, One decided to stay, Go into, Start to move from verse 24 to 25.

[49:04] The other one said, There's no verse 25 anyway. There's no verse 25 anyway. It doesn't matter what happens.

[49:14] I'm still dying anyway. Then, This criminal Says to the holy man, Lord, Remember me.

[49:27] Remember me. For what? When you come, I know you are here, But you are going somewhere. Remember me. When you come into your kingdom.

[49:39] How did you know that? This guy must have also known That same information. Because I have similar, Because they are in a similar state. But one, They both had the same preaching.

[49:50] Both had the same preaching. Both had the same preaching. But one decided To be foolish enough To accept the offer. He said, Lord, Remember me.

[50:04] Remember me. When you come into your kingdom. The Lord said, That's why I'm here.

[50:19] I'm here for you. Today, It doesn't have to be More than 24 hours. Today, You shall be with me. In paradise.

[50:30] Paradise is a place of rest. A place of bliss. A place of freedom. A place of liberty. It doesn't have to be next week. The addiction can stop today. It doesn't have to be next month.

[50:41] That demonic encroachment in your life Can stop today. It can stop today. All based on only one thing. Your, The decision is yours to make.

[50:55] They were all on the cross. I believe this guy, This guy, This guy, Just illustration. Not him. I believe this guy, He heard what the chief priests were saying. In verse 35.

[51:07] So he was also, He wanted to trend. Let him save himself. So he wanted to trend. He also heard what the soldiers were saying.

[51:19] The soldiers were also saying that, This guy says, If he's the son of God, If he's the king of the Jews, The soldiers in verse 37. If he's the king of the Jews, Let him save himself.

[51:31] He said that, If you are the king of the Jews, Save yourself. He heard what they were saying. The people and the priests were talking. The soldiers were talking. He decided to be in the majority.

[51:43] I don't want to, If I tell him, Help me. They will say, Look at this photo. I don't want to look bad. I want to look good. I'm shy. I'm shy. At least I'm dying.

[51:54] But I want to, I want to, I want to keep up with the Joneses. I want to fit in. Because my friends will think I'm stupid. If I decide that I'm going to do Jesus thing, My friends will say, Ah!

[52:08] I didn't think you were smart. Yeah. They didn't know that I'm actually smarter. Because life doesn't end here. Life is not just now. Listen, We are not, In the next 30 minutes or so, We will all be out of here.

[52:25] And you go back home, To face your life. But what you do with Jesus, Will determine, How life will be for you, Right after here.

[52:35] How life will be for you. He said, Lord, Remember me. Jesus said, I'm here for you. Today I tell you, You shall be with me, In paradise.

[52:48] Jesus, Thank you. As, As I, End, It's a simple message, I want to tell somebody. Don't die, As a wretched man.

[53:03] Don't stay in your wretchedness. There's a solution out. Romans chapter 6 verse 6, Look at how I put it. He said, If, Those of us who are crucified, Knowing this, That our old man, You know, That body of sin, Is called the old man.

[53:20] He's crucified with him. That's why Jesus went on the cross. So he can die, With the thing, That is supposed to be dying, In your life. Because, The cross was not the end.

[53:32] He said, Today you'll be with me, In paradise. So that he can die, With what's supposed to die, In your life. And then you can rise, With him. So when he's rising, He holds you, And rises with you, To where he's going.

[53:46] He said, Our old man is crucified. Our old, The, The old man, Was crucified with him. That the body of sin, Might be, Um, The Greek word is, Katargeo.

[54:01] In other words, Rendered jobless. It also means, Unemployed. So, The old man, The body of sin, Will end up now, Becoming unemployed.

[54:15] It will become, Anurved. Some translations use, Anurved. Other translations use, To be done away with, Or to be put away. That thing, The body of sin, That has dominated your life, So much that, You are now, A wretched man.

[54:33] On the cross, If you can accept, What Jesus did on the cross, You can walk free. Nobody has to know, What you are going through. Nobody has to know, What you are struggling with.

[54:45] But, If you can accept, What Jesus has got to offer, Later on, People can see, You are such a happy person. People can see, You are now a free person.

[54:55] That's why Jesus said, He who the son, Sets free, Is free. Thank you for choosing, To listen to this message, By David Entry.
