[0:00] Hallelujah. We thank God you've tuned into this message by David Entry at Caris Church. No hand can help you with the fulfillment of your destiny but the Word of God. May God's hand align you further into your destiny through this Word.

[0:15] John chapter 1 verse 1 to 3 and 14. It says that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made.

[0:34] Verse 14. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Amen.

[0:50] Shall we all read this from the screen from 1 to 3? In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. Amen.

[1:09] H-Y-P-O-S-T-A-T-I-C. How do you pronounce that? Hypostatic. So, in theology when they say the hypostatic union, it is referring to one thing.

[1:25] The hypostatic union is talking about Christ. He has the human nature and divine nature. So, the hypostatic union is talking about the divine nature of the human nature in one person.

[1:40] It's a union and that union didn't mix to form a hybrid. If you add color black, paint color black to white, what do you get?

[1:54] You get gray. That's the hypostatic union. This is what Christianity is built on. And this is what every other religion frowns on. Until you believe in this, you cannot be saved.

[2:09] That Jesus is fully man and fully human. Fully human and fully God. Or the proper theological phrases. Truly God and truly. Not fully, truly. Whatever constitutes a man, a human being.

[2:32] So, man there is human. Fully human or truly human and truly God. So, he was so human in every sense of the word. And he is so God, he was so God in every sense of the word.

[2:47] And yet, it's not like adding black paint to a white paint to get gray. It is like a checkered board, black and white.

[2:58] It's one board, but there's black and there's white. They don't, it's not gray. You can't tell me gray is the same as a checkered, like a white board. It's not the same.

[3:10] Gray is a new color. It's a mixture. Whilst a checkered board is not a new color, but it's made of one board, but made of two colors. So, the hypostatic union is like that.

[3:22] It's one person, but has everything God has it and everything money has it. So, I took my time to explain the deity of Christ.

[3:33] I want to, I want to attempt to talk about the humanity. Evidence of Jesus' humanity from scripture. Christians, we reason and we argue our points from scripture.

[3:47] If you don't believe the scripture, that's a different story. You cannot say you don't believe the scriptures and be a Christian. What does it mean to be a Christian?

[3:59] What were you a Christian? Oh, I don't believe in the Bible. Then you are not a Christian. You can be a Christian and not believe in the Bible. You might not be well taught, so you might think not everything in the Bible is God.

[4:13] You can still be a Christian and have that wrong belief. Titles don't make you turn you into something. If you describe the tale of a dog as a leg, how many legs has a dog got?

[4:29] Four. The fact that you call it a leg doesn't make it.

[4:45] Those of you who don't know who you are. Or you don't know what you are. So the point I'm making is, you can call yourself a Christian. If you are not, it doesn't make you a Christian.

[4:59] There are many people who call themselves Christians who are on the high motor way of hell. Jesus said, many shall say unto me, Lord, be cast in your name.

[5:11] He said, I don't know you. Away from me. So there are many. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 13 verse, 7 verse 13. He said that, God is the way that leads to destruction. And many, those many are the same many who showed up in the verse 22 and 23.

[5:26] The same many. Many will say, that same many is the same many in the verse. Many. So, what makes you a Christian is believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

[5:40] How do you know he's the Son of God? The Bible says it. The Bible. Everything we believe about Jesus is found in the Bible. Not in your personal visions. Your personal visions is subjective to what you ate the night before.

[5:57] What you are going through in life. And your definitions of life. Your philosophy of life. So, sometimes you can have a dream somebody is marrying you.

[6:08] And the person doesn't have a clue. It's a cerebrally arranged marriage.

[6:21] It's been arranged in your mind. Saying you are a Christian doesn't make you one. Believing in Christ as the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins.

[6:35] Oh, I like the way 1 Peter 3, verse 18. He said, He gave himself, suffered for our sins that he might bring us to God. He said, He gave himself, that's a powerful scripture.

[6:48] He gave himself for us. Okay. Just as a, that he might bring us. So, Christ suffered once for sins. What's the purpose? That he might bring us to God. We are far away from God.

[6:59] We are far away from God. But he went to the cross so he can bring us to God. It's there in your Bible. Now, if you don't believe this, there's no way you can be a Christian.

[7:11] And there's no other means by which your sins can be forgiven. So, that is the unforgivable sin. Wow. The unforgivable sin is not to believe in Jesus.

[7:23] Because that's the only means for forgiveness of sins. So, if the only way a woman can be pregnant is for her egg to be fertilized by a seed.

[7:34] Yeah. That's the only way. That's the only way you can be pregnant and give birth to a human being. So, you can't be pregnant and say, I don't know what happened. Yeah. That I have not been anywhere.

[7:46] Even Mary, egg had to be fertilized by a supernatural seed. Yeah. And when it happened, she knew it. You can't be pregnant and don't know.

[7:57] Mary knew where it came from. So, being a Christian is predicated on these things I'm teaching, that Jesus is God. If he's not God, he can't save us.

[8:10] Yeah. And if he's not man, truly man, he can't save man. So, he has to be what he came to save in order to save it. Yeah. That's right. Hebrews chapter 2.

[8:21] Inasmuch then, verse 14, okay. Inasmuch then, the children were partakers of physical nature, physical human nature. He, himself likewise. So, the likewise is predicated on the people, how the state of the people, who they were.

[8:41] He says that, inasmuch as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he, himself likewise, shared in the same.

[8:52] The same is flesh and blood. Why? That through death he might deliver. So, the ones he came to deliver, he has to be like them, the same. So, if he's not truly man, he cannot truly save man.

[9:07] Okay. So, when someone says Jesus is not truly man, their implication is wilder than you can imagine. Yeah. Their implication is demonic and is satanic.

[9:20] Great is the ministry of godliness. First Timothy chapter 3. That, verse 50, but without controversy, great is the ministry of godliness.

[9:31] God was manifested. He showed up. The word was God and the word became flesh. The same thing he said. God showed up. He manifested.

[9:42] He was found in the fashion as a man. Romans chapter 8 verse 3. Since the children, for what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh.

[9:53] God, God did by sending his own son in the likeness. Since the children were flesh and blood.

[10:05] He, himself, likewise, shared in the same flesh and blood. So, that's why God sent his son in the likeness of sinful flesh.

[10:16] In the likeness. He came just like us. Hebrews 2, 17. So that he can have mercy.

[10:28] He says that, therefore, in all things he had to be made like his brethren. If he's not like us, he cannot like us the way he should.

[10:41] He has to be made like us. He's brethren. Why? That, you see, there is a reason why. There is a reason. Why? There is a reason. That, that he might be merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God.

[11:00] else he can't intercede for us. He had to be like us. So, Jesus became fully or truly man. One of the biblical evidences for his true humanity is that he died on the cross.

[11:17] When you stab a man, you are killing him. You are killing him. You are killing him. The peers, the other thieves on the cross, they died. He also died. He was dead and buried.

[11:28] He said, first of all, I present you, 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 3. I present you first of all. I deliver to you first of all that which also I received, that Christ died.

[11:42] Let's all say Christ died. Christ died. Islam says Christ did not die, but it was Judas. God swapped Judas.

[11:53] So, the one who died on the cross, everybody thought it was Jesus, but Jesus didn't die because God swapped him with Judas. A time is coming, if you are not a serious Christian, you won't survive.

[12:07] If you are not a serious Christian, you won't survive. That's why I have to teach these things, to help somebody to know what you are here for. This thing is a Jesus thing.

[12:19] Not bread and butter. It's a Jesus thing. So, even if bread and butter doesn't come, that's not why you are here. You came for Jesus. Because a time is coming when the true worship...

[12:33] Hey! It's important. Ephesians chapter 4 verse 17. Gentiles work in the futility of their mind. Let the fire speak. Their understanding is darkened. It's switched off. So, there is power cut in their understanding. It's dark. And so, what they think they understand. You see, all this is rubbish.

[12:44] It's rather display of their dark understanding. Because they are not a good understanding. Because their minds are blinded. That means the mind can see. Yes! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! I feel like preaching. Let the fire speak.

[12:55] Let the fire speak. Their understanding is darkened. It's switched off. So, there is power cut in their understanding. It's dark. And so, what they think they understand. You see, all this is rubbish. It's rather display of their dark understanding.

[13:09] Because their minds are blinded. That means the mind can see. Yes! The mind, but for them, they are groping in darkness.

[13:20] So long as their mind is concerned. That's why someone will be a professor of theology and still say, I don't believe. Why? Because their mind is darkened. Anyone who tells you, I don't believe in Jesus, I don't believe, is not a bad person.

[13:33] So, don't take it personally. 2 Corinthians 4, verse 4. It says that whose minds the God of this age has blinded. Who do not believe, lest the light.

[13:47] Oh, I like the gospel of the glory. In who the God of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not. Lest the light of the glorious gospel. I like that word.

[13:58] The glorious gospel. The glorious gospel. The glorious gospel. The glorious gospel. The gospel is glorious. The gospel is glorious. Ah, glory! Glory! Glory! Lest the light!

[14:11] Hey! The glorious gospel has gone light. Amen! Why would you not even preach that glorious gospel? Who is not? Any other thing you preach, it's not glorious.

[14:22] The gospel is glorious. Okay. The gospel is so glorious. You don't always have to sing in church. If you can get the gospel, it's like music.

[14:33] Ah, ha, ha, ha. It's glorious. So, when they say Jesus Christ didn't die. That's Satan. The antichrist says that Christ has not come in the flesh.

[14:48] Yeah, in 1 John. He said anyone, it's in chapter 2 and chapter 4. He said that's how you can know who an antichrist is. He said anyone who says Christ has not come in the flesh.

[14:59] He said that is the antichrist. It's so clear. Yeah. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist. Every spirit that does not confess that Jesus has come in the flesh, He's not of God.

[15:14] Now, what does it mean? Watch this. This is just the serious thing I'm talking about. What does it mean to say Jesus has not come in the flesh? Saying that he's not actually a true human being. Maybe he's just some spirit.

[15:25] And he just hijacked a human body and was using. No, no. He's not a spirit that hijacked human body. He's God who became flesh. If you say Jesus Christ or God has not come in the flesh, you are not of God.

[15:40] If you deny, one of the verses says that you deny is not of God. Give me back the same text. Let me show you something.

[15:51] And this is the spirit of the antichrist, you see, which you have heard that is coming. It's already around. So, Islam teaches that Christ has not come in the flesh.

[16:02] And the one who came in the flesh is not God. He's just a prophet. No, no. He's not a prophet. He's the son of God. He's the son of God. He's not a prophet. He's the son of God.

[16:13] The son of God, he embodies any godly thing that has ever. Whether priest, whether prophet, whether king, whether mess, anything at all which has represented God is encapsulated, encapsulated, and captured in Jesus.

[16:26] So, if you say he's a prophet, you have done great death, God. How can you tell me God is a prophet? The prophet is the spokesperson of God himself. That's right.

[16:37] So, when he says, God is speaking. He's God in the flesh. He says, have I been with you all this? You have known me. If you have seen me, you have seen. I am he. I am the father as one. I am the father as one. Whatever the father says, the son.

[16:50] In John chapter 5, he said, the father does nothing. Oh, sorry. The son, verse 17. The son does nothing except that which he sees the father do it. But he says, my father, okay, verse 19. Okay, verse 19 says that.

[17:01] Most of the verses I say unto you. The son can do nothing of himself. But what he sees the father do. For whatever he does, the son.

[17:12] It's me and the father. Look at the next verse. For the father loves the son and shows him all things that he himself does. And he will show him greater works than these that he may marvel.

[17:23] For as the father raises the dead and gives life to them, Even so, the son gives life to whom he will. Look at the next verse. For the father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the son.

[17:37] Look at the next verse. It's even going to get interesting. That all should honor the son just as they honor the father. He who does not honor the son does not honor the father who says it.

[17:48] When you say, you can't say I worship the father, but not Jesus. You have dishonored the son. If you dishonor that son, you have dishonored the father. That's what Jesus is saying. Look at the next verse.

[17:59] Most of the verses I say unto you. He who hears my words and beliefs, he who sends me has everlasting life. Hey! A human being says if you hear my words and beliefs, you have everlasting life. That's not a normal human being. That's God talking.

[18:10] And shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death. Hey! These are serious claims. Look at the next verse. Most assuredly I say unto you. The hour is coming and now is when the dead will hear the voice of the son of God.

[18:24] And those who hear will live. Wow! So, Jesus Christ died on the cross. A human being, spirits don't, how many of you know spirits don't die?

[18:35] No. Okay, spirits don't die. So, angels who disobeyed God are not dead and they are not dying. They will be cast into the bottomless lake of fire. A bottomless pit.

[18:46] So, they will all be cast. According to Matthew chapter 24 from verse 45, there is a place prepared for Satan and his angels. He said, prepared for Satan and his angels.

[18:58] Go there. Matthew 25, right here, sorry. 25 verse 45, somewhere there. He said, prepared for Satan and his angels.

[19:09] Yeah. And he said, false prophets who go there too. Verse 41. Then I will depart from me, you cast, into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

[19:21] Who is he talking about? False prophets. And those who don't believe. So, it was originally prepared for Satan and his angels. But some human beings have chosen, they will go too. Yeah. Yeah.

[19:32] So, Jesus Christ, because he's a human being, that's why he was able to die. The Bible says that. Matthew chapter 1, verse 16. Talking about the end of the genealogy of Jesus Christ.

[19:45] And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born, Jesus, which is called the Christ. He was actually a human being that was born by a mother.

[19:56] It's clear. Then, the next verse says, verse 18. Now, the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows. After his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, I hope you know what that means.

[20:09] She was found to be with a child. Joseph had not touched her in that way, but she was pregnant. So, now the point here is the virgin birth is a pointer. The virgin birth is a pointer to the fact that it's a biblical evidence that he's a true human being.

[20:25] Because he was born as a baby. In Matthew chapter 2, Herod wanted to kill him. The angels said, take the boy and Joseph, take the boy and his mother to Egypt from verse 13.

[20:36] From 11 to 13. And then, in the verse 18, 19, the Bible said, after Herod died, the angels came and said, bring the child. So, they are taking care of a child. Jesus Christ was an infant. One of the purest ways to know of pure gospel.

[20:49] Easiest way to know pure gospel. The basis of pure Christian teaching. It's, it's adheres, it adheres, upholds the Jesus Christ.

[21:00] What is upholds about Jesus Christ? His virgin birth. His virtuous living. His vicarious death. His victorious resurrection.

[21:11] And his ascension. His ascension. His visible ascension. They saw him ascend. And his visible return. His, so his virgin birth.

[21:23] His virtuous living. His vicarious death. His victorious resurrection. His victorious resurrection. His victorious resurrection. His visible ascension.

[21:34] His ascension. His visible return. His visible return. His visible return. His, these things are the core things about Jesus Christ. Which when you're a Christian, you must know very well.

[21:45] You must know. And you spend all your time knowing. That's the Christian message. The Christian message. So all church life. Must be spent in knowing more and more.

[21:56] And when you dig. The deeper you dig into the scripture. The more revelation you have into the scripture. The more you notice these things. And you understand it better. So any revelation that doesn't deepen your understanding in this.

[22:08] Is not a true Christian revelation. True Christian revelation makes you understand it better. The virgin birth. Wow. You, you, oh.

[22:19] And it captures your heart. Wow. So sweet. And you are getting it more. Oh, now I even understand it better. That's why we can never finish preaching the Christmas message. Amen. We can never finish preaching the Easter message.

[22:30] It doesn't matter what we are preaching. Every day we can preach the Easter message. And there's even more to discover. Because from Genesis to Revelation, it's about Christmas. It's about Easter. It's about the virgin birth.

[22:42] It's about the, the virtuous living. It's about the vicarious death. It's about the, uh, victorious resurrection. It's about the ascension and the return.

[22:55] We all, that's, that's what the Bible is about. So, if you say you are getting deeper into God, these things will be deeper in your heart. And even clearer and more beautiful.

[23:06] That's what is called the glorious. The glorious. The glorious. The glorious. The glorious. So, the, one of the biblical evidence that Jesus Christ is fully, truly human is that he was born.

[23:19] He was born by a woman. There's nobody who is a human being who was born. The, the, the devil is not a human being. Because he doesn't have a mother. So, when a child asks, okay, so who gave birth to God?

[23:33] You tell God, God is not a human being. It's only human beings that must have a mother. Human beings who must be born. If you are a human being and you have intellect and you have emotions and will.

[23:47] Spirits have intellect. Spirits have emotions. Spirits have will. But they don't have a mother. So, they are not human beings. Jesus had emotions.

[23:58] Jesus has intellect. Jesus had will. And he had a mother. Just like you. You have emotions. You have intellect. You have will. You have feelings, sorry.

[24:09] Emotions, that's the feelings. Your intellect and your will. And you have what? A mother. Who hasn't got a mother? Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe. Maybe then we can cast you out.

[24:21] Because then you are a spirit. An unclean one. Did you receive something? Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry.
