[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every true revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's word. May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.

[0:15] ! That kind of God. And it says that you used to be, that henceforth you no longer walk. Henceforth, therefore, I testify that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the futility of the...

[0:55] It's a henceforth. That means in the past, you didn't have what it takes not to walk in futility of mind. But from now, now that Christ is in you, now that you are in Christ, now that you have the life of God, the life of Christ, let's walk.

[1:13] No more like that. The next verse. Having their understanding darkened. This is very scary, you know, that people who don't have Christ, their understanding is darkened.

[1:25] Their judgment are not straight. Not judgment about natural things. Natural things, they can be great, but spiritual things.

[1:39] And there are major things in life that take their strength from spiritual understanding. For instance, marriage. For instance, raising family. Even doing well in life.

[1:58] Some of you used to fight with your mother. It's so stupid to say, I don't talk to my mother. I hate my father. You will suffer in life.

[2:12] But you see, you wouldn't know this if you don't have the life of God. You'll be busy fighting places that they don't have to be spiritual. Your father can be a Buddhist. If you fight him, life will fight you.

[2:25] Your mother can be a witch. If you dishonor her, life will strip you of honor. You will suffer unnecessarily.

[2:36] There are people who are suffering, but because their understanding is darkened, they are well educated, they are doing well. But life is not working. But they don't know.

[2:47] But when you lack the life of God, your understanding is darkened about core key things in life that money cannot buy. There are things in life money cannot buy.

[3:01] Things in life that money cannot buy. You're talking about raising your children to do well in life. There's no money. What do you do if you have a foolish, silly child who doesn't take orders from anybody and always creating confusion?

[3:22] You don't bargain for this. You're part. That's what you've got now. When it comes to the key things in life, you cannot determine how to go with money.

[3:33] You can't use your money to determine the weather condition. Paul said, you should have listened to me and not to have sailed from crates. He was using spiritual satnav.

[3:47] He was using spiritual intelligence. And knew some things ahead. So what I'm trying to say is that when it got to me to see my wife, I was spiritual. When I say spiritual, I didn't say the Holy Spirit tells me you should be my wife.

[4:01] Anyone who tells you is not serious. It's fake. So when the Holy Spirit told you you should be your wife, did you put like for her inside you? Or you already had the liking?

[4:15] Why would you marry someone you don't like? This is not my type of man. But if God is saying so, hey, hey, hey. Please. God is saying so.

[4:27] Stop the pretense. This is not my type of man. You know, I don't like. One day a certain lady came to me. She liked Pastor Tim at that time. She came to me.

[4:38] She said, Pastor, I don't know why. This is very funny. I keep having dreams about this guy. And Pastor, I don't like this. It's not my type at all.

[4:50] But I keep seeing my dream. It keeps coming. Pastor, what does that mean? I said, I don't know. Who is it? He said, Pastor, I don't want to tell you. But the truth is that you think I'm a child. You are coming to use your dream world to endorse the person you like.

[5:05] Pastor, it's not my type. So eventually I said, who is it? So, it's, I was here, Pastor. Brother, Brother Akwezi. I said, you don't like him? I said, no, it's not my type.

[5:15] But I don't know why God is trying to. God is forcing him on her.

[5:28] Please. You know what I told her? I said, don't mind God. Don't mind God. Don't mind God. You don't like him. And her face dropped. Praise the Lord.

[5:42] In having their understanding darkened. If your best friend is a serious unbeliever, you have to be careful what advice you receive from them.

[5:57] But they will be well-meaning, well-intentioned, but there will be an access point for the enemy to invade core important things in life, in your life.

[6:09] There are things that are not important. Your clothes are not as important. Your wig is not as important. Your makeup is not as important. Your health is very important. Who you marry is super important.

[6:23] It's crucial. It will determine your children's grandparents. You know, so when it comes to important things in life, core things about life, it takes the wisdom of God to help you make the right decisions.

[6:43] And the wisdom of God is for us. Bible says we have the mind of Christ. It says that having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance, I explain all this, that is in them because of the blindness.

[7:01] Who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

[7:13] Let's, and I feel a bit better. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality. So as to indulge in every kind of impurity with a continual lust for more.

[7:33] Have you seen that when you watch pornography, you never, it's not ever enough. Yeah, it doesn't. The next time you go, you want to see more. Every time you go off from God and you indulge in anything that fits your lust, nothing satisfies.

[7:51] If you smoke one steak a day or a week, you will graduate into three a week. With time, then you advance into five a week or seven a week.

[8:07] Then you begin to go up into two a day. That's how life, so people who are addicted, it gets worse and worse and worse. Yeah, that's how wicked the devil is.

[8:18] Some of you know what I'm talking about. You didn't start like that. Look at how young you are and you can drink a whole bottle of vodka. Yeah, and it's not because you are stupid, but it's just that the bottle is controlling you.

[8:34] And it didn't start like that. Those of you who are familiar with drinking, there are people here. They can drink half a bottle and they will not be drunk. While there are some of you here.

[8:46] If you drink just a small glass, you go. Why? Because your system begins to adjust and crave for more and more and more and more and more and more.

[9:03] So, nature is such that things don't get better. If you don't attend to your garden, it will be very weedy.

[9:15] Do you understand that? That's nature. So, they indulge in things they like. They lost all sensitivity. When you have the life of Christ, you have a certain sense of sensitivity.

[9:29] When you are even doing something, you don't feel comfortable when you are going off. When you are fulfilling last and you have the life of Christ, you have... It's like there's a sense of life.

[9:39] You respond to holy stimuli. You just can't do... How many of you since you became born again have attempted to do some things and just...

[9:53] No, no. I just... I just... I struggle. I'm struggling. I can't do it. I can't go ahead. But those who are not in Christ, they lost all sensitivity and they have given themselves over to sensuality.

[10:07] It's all about how I feel. How I feel. How I feel. Many people are making major decisions in their life based on how they feel.

[10:18] How bizarre that can be. Don't marry a person because of how you feel about them. When it comes to important things of life, you don't make major decisions of life purely based on feelings.

[10:33] And what is so pediatric and worrying is when you make decisions based on how your friends like it. Your friends... There's a Nigerian proverb.

[10:44] 20 children don't play together for 20 years. Some people you call... You used to call BFF. Where are they? You don't even know where they are. You follow friends who throw away your destiny.

[10:57] You go to university and you won't study because your friends are going raving. And if you don't go, they will say, oh, you are not strong enough. And so, I just want to follow my friend. Dummy. No.

[11:08] It feels so nice. It feels so nice when your friends want to go and fool around. And you say, oh, guys, I'll see you later. And then you can't take...

[11:18] You can't separate yourself from such... It feels so... It feels like you are wise. It feels like you are smart. When you are going to make major decisions in life, please use your head. Not your feelings.

[11:32] Don't make major life decisions based on feelings. Oh, someone prophesied. That's even another level of... Someone prophesied. So, you are going with that? What if later I tell you I got it wrong?

[11:43] All right. Having lost all sensitivities, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity. With continual last for more.

[11:56] You want more. They are indulging. But that will not be your story. So, it says that do not walk anymore like the way people who are not in Christ walk.

[12:06] Because the understanding is dark and that's their work. Let's look at it. Let's go back to the verse 20. So, let's continue from there. Verse 20. Now, look at verse 20. It says that, but you have...

[12:18] Let's read it out together. Let's go. But you have also learned Christ. Try here, guys. Let's go. But you have also learned Christ. Wow.

[12:31] All right, ladies. But you have also learned Christ. Doesn't it sound amazing? To them all. But you have also learned Christ. What does that mean?

[12:43] You haven't learned... Do we learn Christ? Is he a textbook? Is Christ a textbook? Is Christ a subject?

[12:56] Matthew chapter 11, verse 27, 28. 28. Let's go to verse 28. It says, yeah. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden.

[13:07] And I, Jesus said, I will give you rest. Now, look at the next verse. This is Jesus speaking. Take my yoke upon you and...

[13:19] Oh. Oh. Oh. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me.

[13:32] Learn from me. And Ephesians Paul said, you have no... This is not how you learned Christ. So that when you are born again, it is...

[13:43] Ah. It is not enough just to have the life of Christ, but it's important to have the living. To follow his example. So in John chapter 13, verse 15.

[13:58] John chapter 13, verse 15. It says that for... I have given you... Ah. Let's read it together. This is so nice. Oh, wow. It's so cool. All right. Let's go. For I have given you an example that you should have come to you.

[14:11] These are the words of Jesus Christ. This is Jesus' direct words. So Jesus said, I have given you an example that you...

[14:22] That I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you. So Jesus gave us an example. He said, I have given you an example.

[14:35] He said, learn of me. Then Paul said, don't live like Gentiles do because you haven't so learned Christ. Learn of me.

[14:45] When you become a Christian, the biggest blessing of being a Christian is the life of Christ you have. You have the life of Christ in you.

[14:57] And then based on the life of Christ, you are able to mimic, imitate, and copy, and learn. In fact, in 1 Peter 2, verse 21, it talks about how he set an example for us.

[15:17] 1 Peter 2, verse 21 says that, for to this you were called because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow his steps.

[15:32] Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow his steps. I used to like drawing when I was in secondary school.

[15:46] And before I went to secondary school, primary school, you know, there is this... I forgot the technical name, but even if you don't have that kind of paper, tracing paper, we will put like kerosene.

[15:57] Some of you don't know what kerosene is. It's like petrol gas. So you put your... You put a paper in it or put on a paper. It makes the paper almost like translucent. Or not transparent, but, you know, you can...

[16:12] When you put it on something, you can see there and trace it out, right? So there are papers for tracing things, right? What's it called? Tracing paper. Tracing paper.

[16:23] Good. So then it says that your life is supposed to be like a tracing paper. You put it on Christ and then try and trace the man. So Christ becomes our example to trace.

[16:38] That's what that actual text means. That he left us an example to trace. To follow his footsteps. To trace. The reason why Jesus had to...

[16:50] Okay. I think you will like this. He said, when Jesus came on earth... How many of you know why he came on earth? Why did he come?

[17:03] And how was he going to save us from our sins? So why did he come? To die on the cross. That's why when Peter said, you cannot die, he said, get behind me, Satan. Matthew chapter 16, verse 23.

[17:15] He came to die on... That's very important. Don't forget this. He came to die. In fact, in Galatians chapter 1, verse 4. Galatians chapter 1, verse 4.

[17:25] It says that who gave himself for us that he might deliver us from this present evil age. According to the will of God. So he came into this world. Gave himself for us.

[17:37] Hebrews chapter 7, verse 26. He spoke about his first coming. About how for such a high priest is fitting for us. Who is holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sin, and become higher than the heavens.

[17:50] I'm sorry, 926. I think it's a 926. Hebrews 926. Please pardon me. Hebrews 926. He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world.

[18:00] But now, once at the end of the ages, he has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Why did he appear? Oh, come on. Why did he appear? From the text.

[18:12] Why did Jesus appear? Because of sin. How was he going to do it? By the sacrifice of himself. And so, his coming on earth was to come and die for our sins.

[18:23] Now, the point I want to make is, if he came merely to come and die, then after he was born and Herod was looking for him, he could have died. Two years. When he was two years. And death is death.

[18:36] Or if he came to shed his blood, then he could have allowed someone to chop off his finger. And he would have bled and potentially bled to death. But he has shed his blood.

[18:46] So, why did he have to live for 33 years? If the main reason why you came was to die. Why do you have to live for 33 years? For what?

[18:57] You came to die, then die. So, when he came, why didn't he just die? Did he have to stay so long? Because he wasn't coming to marry. So, he didn't have to actually grow to be a man to marry.

[19:10] He wasn't coming to have children. He wasn't coming to establish political party. He didn't even come to establish a natural kingdom. You remember when he died and resurrected?

[19:22] When he died, on the road to Emmaus in Luke chapter 24, the people said, we were hoping that he was the one to deliver from the Romans. Luke chapter 24, from verse 21, 22, 23, on the road to Emmaus.

[19:36] They said, are you a stranger in Jerusalem? Haven't you heard what has happened? They said, what is it? And then they told him about Jesus of Nazareth. And then he says that, but we were hoping that it was he who was going to redeem Israel.

[19:49] So, they told this, the superman, power, he's going to deliver us from Roman occupation. And it didn't happen. So, that's why when he says, I'm going to die, Peter said, you can't die. We are following you because we know we are going to reign.

[20:01] Reign. And in your ruling government, you all get seats. And they said, I'm going to die. What's the meaning of going to die? Then why are we following you? Why am I following a person who's going to die?

[20:13] No, so Peter, them, were disappointed. And then he died. So, their hopes were shattered. Then he resurrected. And then when he resurrected in Acts chapter 1, verse 4, and verse 5, the disciples started asking political questions again.

[20:27] Now that he has resurrection, the Bible said, being assembled together, he commanded them not to deliver. Look at verse 5. Verse 5, the Bible says that, John baptized with water, but you should be baptized with all the gods.

[20:39] Verse 6. Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? What kingdom? They were thinking political.

[20:51] And he was thinking divine. He was thinking spiritual. So, the point I'm making is, he didn't come to establish a political kingdom. That's why his disciples were all being attacked and killed.

[21:03] And they died still believing. Because they believed in a certain kingdom coming. Amen. Is someone learning something? Now, so, if Jesus didn't come to establish a political kingdom, he didn't have to grow up.

[21:16] He should have died quickly. Why did he have to live 33 years? The reason why he had to live 33 years is in Romans chapter 5, verse 10.

[21:28] Romans chapter 5, verse 10. And the scripture we just read from 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 21. Romans chapter 5, verse 10. It said, for if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his son, how much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

[21:50] Saved by his life. That word, life there, is not like the life of Christ I have, but the life that he lived. The Christ, that's why he couldn't have just died.

[22:01] He had to live a whole, the full spectrum of an adult man. And what is in Romans chapter 8, verse 3. What the law could not do in that it was weak.

[22:12] Like a shudder by higher. Let's already, Allah. Let's go. What the law could not do in that it was to eat from the flesh. God did by sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh.

[22:24] On the account of sin, he condemned sin in the flesh. Now, what the law could not do. You know, we've been reading Romans. Amazing, amazing. What the law could not do because it was weak in the flesh.

[22:37] God did. How did he do? By sending his son. What does that mean? When Jesus came and was living a natural life, he was ticking all the boxes, all the requirements of the law. Because naturally, we couldn't keep it.

[22:49] But he came to keep it. So, he had to live a whole life, full life, and tick all the boxes of the law. And so, it's like somebody going to write an exam.

[22:59] And it's about seven hour paper. You finish writing it, and you're writing it for your cousin. Finish writing it. When he comes, he said, I've done it for you.

[23:10] You can just go take it and go and present it. Jesus came to live the life, not for himself. He lived a life. Now, when you are saved, he gives you the life he has lived. He said, this is it.

[23:21] Trace it. Trace your life after it. Trace your life after the life I lived. The life I lived. So, when you become born again, you now have, watch this.

[23:32] This is very important. You now have the life. You have the resurrection life of Christ. The life after resurrection. Before resurrection, there was no way Jesus could be inside you.

[23:45] Before resurrection, there's no way any human being can be a child of God. He was the only son of God. But after the resurrection, so in Romans chapter 8, verse 29, he said, For those he foreknew, he said, for who he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed into the, did you see that?

[24:11] You see the word conformed there? To be conformed into the image of the son of God that Jesus might be the firstborn amongst many. So, when he said to be conformed, it's like he's cloning us.

[24:23] You know, the tracing paper. So, God has predestined you. Before you were born, he had planned that he's going to save you. And when he's, how is he going to save you? By introducing the resurrection life.

[24:34] The life of Christ after resurrection. Introducing it into you. And when the life comes into you, now you have what it takes to now conform into the image of God. Shout hallelujah!

[24:47] That is why our Christian life is lived following Jesus. Following his example. How do you know his example? You study the scripture. You study the scripture.

[24:58] And you do the scripture. That's how you follow Jesus Christ. So, he said, when you become born again, you learn Jesus. In Colossians chapter 2, verse 7. He speaks about how rooted and built up in him and established in the faith.

[25:13] As you have been taught. Your Christian life thrives at the mercy of your teachings. What teachings you have will determine the quality of your Christian life.

[25:29] Don't be deceived to think Christianity is just about how you behave. Christianity is about the revelation of Christ you know from the scripture. And he said, how can I understand that thou what thou readest?

[25:41] Acts chapter 8, verse 30. Do you understand what you are reading? He said, how can I accept somebody? Guide me. The job of a good church is to help you to understand the scripture.

[25:58] Else it's not a good church. The job of good pastoring is not praying for you for deliverance. Ah, God have a shudder.

[26:10] The job of a good pastor is after you have sat under his feet. A good church. After you have been in that church. You begin to understand the scripture better.

[26:21] You begin to know Christ better. So, you can trace your life. You can. I feel like preaching now. You can trace your life after Christ. Trace your life. Because when you get to heaven, that's what's going to determine your reward.

[26:35] Christ is like a tracing paper. So, he said, I'm not so learned. This is very important. That statement is so deep and so strong.

[26:46] He was comparing our lives. And he spoke about the state of unbelievers. State of those who know in Christ. And he said, this is how they are alive. And he said, you have no soul learned Christ. There's a lifestyle you live.

[26:58] You should live. Which shouldn't be the way worldly people live. Because you have no. Every lifestyle you live. You should be able to justify it by scripture. You should be able to justify it by scripture.

[27:10] Even when you are emotionally charged. Either you are very upset. Or you are very happy. You have to be careful. That if you are actually a Christian. And you are following Christ.

[27:21] What you are doing should be justifiable. By the word of God. That's what determines the kind of quality Christian you are. It's not. Some people can blow in tongues and sweat.

[27:34] But they are paper. Spiritual paper weight. They are not tracing Christ. But you have no soul learned Christ.

[27:44] The way the unbelievers do it. The next verse. If indeed ye have heard him. And have been taught. You know I spoke about the taught. Taught by.

[27:56] Christ is. I can preach to you. But to teach your spirit. Is the job of Christ. So within my teaching.

[28:06] If your heart is open to God. God can be teaching you. Because he says that. You do not need. In 1st John chapter 2. He said. You do not need a teacher. The auction.

[28:17] There is a. 1st John chapter 2. Verse 21. Said there is an anointing. Anointing. Verse 21. But you have. You have an anointing from the Holy One.

[28:27] And you know all things. You have an anointing. When you read. I think King James. Or one of the verses. He said. You have an unction. You have an unction.

[28:37] One of the verses. He said. But you have an unction. Unction. You have an anointing. You have an unction. What King James. Yeah. You have an unction. Unction to function.

[28:50] Yeah. You have an unction. It means an endowment. It's not natural. Your ability to understand spiritual things. It's not natural.

[29:01] Spiritual things don't come naturally. You have. Bible says. 1st John. 1st Corinthians chapter 2. That the natural man does not. Verse 14.

[29:12] The natural man does not. Yeah. Some people are too natural. And they are using natural intelligence. Or intellect. To try to understand spiritual things. But it says that the natural man.

[29:22] Does not understand the spirit. The things of the spirit. For they are foolishness to the natural mind. Nor can he understand. Because they are spiritually discerning. You have to be in the spirit. To be able to appreciate spiritual things.

[29:34] It doesn't matter how well you train your dog. Your dog can never appreciate Sky News. You come from town. Your dog is on the bed.

[29:44] He says. I'm watching Sky News. Can you imagine. He said. The dog is telling. Can you imagine what Kierstammer just said? Even if you shave a chimpanzee.

[29:57] He cannot win presidential election. Because he is not a human being. If you don't have the nature of God. You can't live the life of God. That's why. Religion.

[30:08] Demands. Puts a demand on your behavior. Christianity. Puts an encouragement on your relationship with Christ. The more you relate with Christ. The more your behavior becomes.

[30:20] It's automatic. It's a walk in the spirit. And you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Galatians chapter 6. 5 and 16. And we are reading Romans chapter 8.

[30:31] Recently. It blessed me so much. Verse 6. Verse 7. Verse 8. You want to. Romans chapter 8. Verse 6. It said. To be carnally minded is death. But to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

[30:44] Look at some of your friends or your cousins. Who are not spiritual. Their lives are filled with drama. It's burning. So proper. You are too smart in Christ for your heart to slip into the hand of a fool.

[30:58] Oh. To be spiritually minded is peace. It's life and peace. Wow. Tell somebody. Looks like a pastor is talking to you. Yeah. To be spiritually minded.

[31:10] It's okay. It's okay to have a past. But it's not okay to live in that past. All of us did not just.

[31:22] Nobody is born in God. You find Christ. You come into Christ. And when you come into Christ. The earlier you do. You come into Christ. The better. Because you get the wisdom of Christ earlier.

[31:34] The later. When people wait until they are in their forties. Before they look for Christ. It's a very miserable life. Because they have a lot of regrets. They have fathers who have several baby mothers.

[31:47] And their lives are filled with drama. Their drama is with triple D in front. Drama.

[31:58] Drama. Drama. Yes. But it says. Watch this. This is what the scripture says. To be spiritually minded is life and peace.

[32:09] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So can you imagine if you start walking with Christ early. Tracy your life after Christ. And be spiritually minded early. You have a long life of peace.

[32:24] Hallelujah. If I were you. I would shout the very world. Hallelujah. Life and peace. And then the servant says that.

[32:36] For canal mindedness. Because the canal mind. That means the mind. That is not set on the things of the spirit. Okay. So go to verse 6 and let me show you. Verse 6. To be currently minded is death.

[32:49] But to be spiritually. Let's go to verse 5. For those who live according to the flesh. You see it from their mindsets. It's a mindset. They set their mind. So the strength of your Christian walk.

[33:03] Starts from the way you think. Your mind. It says that. For those who live according to the flesh. Set their mindsets. Set their mindsets. On things of the flesh.

[33:16] Then he says that. But those who live according to the spirit. Set their mindsets. That's the same thing. The things of their spirit. Then he goes on to say.

[33:27] That to be carnally minded is death. If you set your mind. What does he mean to set your mind on carnal things? You don't think spiritual. You don't think biblically.

[33:39] You think just naturally. You think the way anybody who doesn't know Christ can think. And thinks. So somebody cross you. You say. Me. I will never forget this one.

[33:49] I don't talk to my friend. My sister. I don't talk to my mother. I don't talk to my father. Those people who say I hate my father. I feel sorry for your future. You have to repent from that statement.

[34:01] Because it's an attack against your future. Had it not been for your father. You wouldn't have. He wasn't there. It's not your business. Just believe God. I hate my mother.

[34:12] You. Your children will not just hate you. They might mother you. Yeah. Or because whatever you sow. You reap. Yeah. These are things that people don't know.

[34:28] When you see someone. Who. You check your cousin. That your cousin. Who was fighting with her mother for so long. Look at her life. Has three children. With three different men.

[34:39] Who don't like her. Her life doesn't have peace. What? Drama. Drama. Some of the boys.

[34:51] Yeah. You don't have peace. You look very. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Like a military junta. Whoa. Whoa.

[35:02] But you don't have peace. You don't have peace. You know you don't have peace. Please sit down. Let me speak. Look at somebody's face. You know you don't have peace.

[35:17] You know you don't have. You look like you have peace. But you know you don't. He said to be spiritually minded.

[35:28] to set your mind on the things of the Spirit. It makes your life follow your mind. Your life is a reflection of your thinking, your living.

[35:39] The expression is a reflection of your thinking, how you think, what you think. The way you think about boys will show the way you relate towards boys.

[35:50] See how your mind, if you live according to how the Gentiles live, your mindset is enmity against God.

[36:01] It's not like God hates you, but the way you are thinking is enmity against God. How can you sustain blessings? How can you attract blessings with this kind of thinking?

[36:15] Carnal mindset is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither in it can envy.

[36:27] It cannot be. It cannot be. That's it. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Cannot.

[36:38] If God can smile over you, where are you going to get your next blessing? That's why doing God is your biggest advantage in life. Don't let someone with a canon mindset talk you out of God.

[36:54] At the end of the day, you will pay the price. You will pay the price. The way we think. So Ephesians chapter 4, verse 21, it says that if you indeed have heard him and have been taught by him, I will end on as the truth.

[37:24] The truth is in Jesus. Let's all say, the truth is in Jesus. The truth is in Jesus. Give us the new American standard version and then the English standard version.

[37:36] If indeed you have heard him and have been taught in him, just as truth is in Jesus. See this one, I didn't say the truth. It said truth.

[37:48] This one, the rendering is better. Truth, reality. That's the actual Greek word translated truth there is reality. What is real? What is authentic?

[38:00] Authenticity is in Christ. Anything outside of Christ is not authentic. Wow. Bible said, all flesh is as grass and the flower thereof faded away by he who doeth the word of God abided forever.

[38:19] 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 4 Because all flesh is as grass and all the glory of man, the things we boast of, no wonder Paul said, God forbid that I should boast saving the cross of Christ my Lord.

[38:33] The things we boast of, the things that make you think you are better than any man, whether it's your finances, whether it's where you live, whether it's your education, whether it's your looks, whether it's your race, whether it's your gender, whether it's your money, it doesn't, whatever makes you think you are better than others.

[38:53] Bible said, it's as grass. It says, all flesh and the glory of man is as the flower of the grass. The grass withers and the flowers all away.

[39:04] Don't bat for two days and see if this glory does not fade. So, so, if your point of reference about your value is on things that fade, I feel sorry for your future.

[39:18] Your point of reference for your value and importance is to be hinged on the, look at the next verse, verse 25, but the word of the Lord endures forever.

[39:29] Build your life on the word. Land of Christ. Land of Christ. Trace him out. Don't be a Christian and live a normal life.

[39:41] Be a Christian and live a Christ-like, Christ-filled life. You must be a forgiving person. I don't understand how you are not, you see, it's incongruent to be a strong, godly person and you are not nice.

[39:57] You are not a nice person. How? How can you be godly and a nasty person? No. No, it's incongruent. No, it's an oxymoron.

[40:09] It's a tautology to say I'm godly but I'm nasty. You can't look up to God and look down on men. They don't go together.

[40:20] The more godly you are, the more easy for people to come to you. They can offend you but they can still come to you because there is mercy with you. There is forgiveness with you.

[40:32] Forgiveness is not a mental thing when you are with Christ. It's the life of Christ that you live out. They were killing, pastor. They were killing him and he said, Father, forgive them. Forgive them.

[40:43] let this mind be you which was in Christ Jesus who being in the very in the very form of God did not count to say Philippians chapter 2 from verse 5.

[41:00] He emptied kynosis. He emptied himself and took upon himself the form of a bond saver and was found in the fashion like a man and he humbled himself and became obedient even, verse 7, he became obedient even to the obedience to the cross.

[41:20] Verse 9 said, wherefore, because of that God has also highly, wherefore God also has highly, you want high exaltation but you don't want to humble yourself.

[41:33] And then you have to go for your own exaltation. God can't be behind it. God only promotes people who are humble. Trace Christ. That's how he started. Verse 5. He said, let this mind, it's a mind, it's a mind, it's a mind, it's a mind.

[41:49] Pure godliness is not the same as thinking, thinking. The more godly you are, the more refined. He said, be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

[42:03] Romans chapter 12, verse 2. Don't be conformed to this world. Papi, your approach, your judgment, how you treat people, how you react. You can be perfect but constantly keep tracing your life.

[42:18] That's when you begin to get the peace. And you can't do, there are Christians who try to behave without it being deep in their minds and their heart. So they are ticking a box. Tick box exercise doesn't help.

[42:30] You only become religious. That's religion. Religion is full of tick boxes. I've done this, I've done it. But Christianity is a state of heart that affects the mindset.

[42:41] Sometimes you don't even get to act by your mind. That's why Jesus said Matthew chapter 5, it is said but I say that it is said that if you commit verse 28, that shall not commit adultery.

[42:56] Verse 27, it says that you have heard that it is said, it didn't say it is written, but what is written Jesus won't correct it. that's the word of God. But this is a verbal version of the Pharisees.

[43:10] That those, it is said of those of old, you shall not commit adultery. He said, but I say unto you, it's deeper, I'm taking you further. You don't have to act.

[43:22] The way you are thinking is a reflection of your godliness. Spiritual minded is life. Spiritual minded is life. There are some people you can be friends with them for a long time and they are full of hatred and envy and you will not know.

[43:38] You will not know. They will pray in tongues and be laughing and smiling. Hello, I'm so happy. And now listen, if you are a human being, these things can come naturally because that's our nature. It comes naturally, but that's why you have to force yourself to be spiritually minded and trace your life on Christ.

[43:55] Spiritual mindedness will save your life. Don't just do church. be spiritual minded. I put it to you. Because people will reward you for your behavior, but God will reward you for your mindset.

[44:10] Because people won't see your mindset. God sees inside. In fact, in Hebrews chapter 4, verse 13, a very scary scripture. There is no creature hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

[44:29] So what are you going to hide from God? God does not judge just our actions. That's why we have to be spiritual minded.

[44:41] Don't compare yourself to others. When you start comparing yourself to others, you think you are better. I dare you compare yourself to Christ. Compare yourself to Christ.

[44:56] Stop the boasting. I'm better. I'm better. I'm better. I've not done all those bastards. Can you shut up? That doesn't serve with God. What serves with God?

[45:06] It's your life in Christ. After you receive the life of Christ, you are tracing your life after the pattern of Christ. Because Christ is our pattern. Christ is our example.

[45:18] Christ is our model. Christ is our target. Christ is a version of Christianity that many people have been introduced to. That is just religion.

[45:30] Religious piety. Very nice looking person but it's not Christ's example. It's not Christ's reflective. And it's not Christ minded.

[45:41] It's not Christ centric. Because we don't know what you are thinking. You are getting away with it. But not with God. I can be standing here and be preaching and preaching and preaching and preaching.

[45:52] And yet, my mind will be missing being on God. It's a personal discipline and it should be your personal target in life.

[46:04] Be target. Have this mindset. Be determined that God press on to the mark of the price of the high calling of Christ. I'm going to press on.

[46:17] That's what my target is. I don't care what others do. If they are not serving faithfully, I don't care. If they are not giving faithfully, I don't care. What people are sitting online doing, I don't care.

[46:27] I don't compare myself to people. I just, it's the Bible said, who, it said, looking unto Jesus, who for the joy, the utter and the finisher of your faith, who for the joy that was set before him, and drew the cross, dispersing the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of majesty on high.
