[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every true revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's word. May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.
[0:14] For revival to happen, there needs to be repentance. Repentance always precedes revival. If we want to see revival, then we have to believe God and start with repentance.
[0:32] Okay, so repentance is necessary for revival. If there's something going on in your life, and since we started this prayer, you haven't been feeling bad about it.
[0:47] You are a dead man. Do you understand what I mean? If since we started fasting, something ungodly, something that is not right, has been going on in your life, and we have started fasting, you are also fasting, and you don't feel convicted by it, you are a dead man or a dead woman.
[1:13] That means that your destiny has already been written off. Yeah. Do you understand what I'm saying? When God wants to help you, it starts with convictions and repentance.
[1:30] So the thing you are doing which you have not had any, or you don't have convictions about, but you know it's not what you should be doing. You know it's not good.
[1:42] You know you shouldn't be doing bad. You are fine. And when we come, we are praying. It doesn't even bother you. Then you finish and go.
[1:53] You are a dead man. You are like a cadaver. When you sit on a bus, and it doesn't have a stop, and it's just going to go, please get down.
[2:09] Because there must be a bus stop. It says, but if ye be without chastisement, King James, New King James says, chastening.
[2:22] And then New American Standard Version says that, but if you are without discipline, and then how about English Standard Version? If you are left without, they leave you.
[2:36] If you are doing something, and someone who has responsibility over you doesn't mind, it leaves you. It leaves you. You keep doing it. Some people don't like correction.
[2:47] When you correct them, they become morose. They become sad. So he said, if you are left without discipline, you are illegitimate children and not sons.
[3:01] Yeah. King James said, you are a bastard. You were not born appropriately. You are illegitimate children. So what's classified an illegitimate child is a child who is left without correction.
[3:16] Discipleship. The definition of discipleship means mentorship. It means like the way the coaches do it for the top Premier League players. Hard on them.
[3:28] Or the way it's done in the military. The core word of discipleship. So when unbelievers come into the church, one of the things they don't like is discipleship.
[3:40] If you are without discipline, you are a bastard. So if we started, since we started these services, you are doing something and it's not breaking your heart.
[3:51] And you are still coming to prayer meetings. I think there's a problem. You are, because God is not convicting you. If God is not convicting you, then you are in a different zone.
[4:02] That's what I mean. That's why I said you are a dead person. Because you are in a different zone. That means that your destiny has already been signed off. Are you getting what I'm saying?
[4:13] In times of prayer, in atmospheres like this, you must begin to feel conviction about something that has been going on in your life which you don't like. Which you know God doesn't like.
[4:24] No, you don't like. You may like it, but you know God doesn't like it. But it's with you. So sometimes, you know, when you are eating something, it's nice. You continue eating even though you want to stop. But the thing is so nice, you continue eating.
[4:37] Are you getting what I'm saying? So, convictions are the early signs or early promptings of the arrival of revival.
[4:49] What shall we do men and brethren? Repent! Repent! Why am I sharing these things? Because of our prayer topic. You know, sometimes, you want to do it, especially when you are praying, you feel, Yes!
[5:03] Now I'm ready! How many of you have come into an atmosphere where you know that? Yes! Set and bring it on! Set and bring it on! This gambling, I overcome you now! Yes! Bring it on!
[5:14] These things I've been watching from today, I've overcome you! In fact, you feel, in fact, something tells you that, close your account. But you said, no! I don't close the account because me, it cannot overcome me again.
[5:29] It cannot overcome me again. When I go on Twitter, I won't watch any other thing. I will just be okay. When I go on TikTok, I will be okay. When I go on YouTube, I won't sign off the account because now, you feel, you are not ready to face life.
[5:46] I don't know if you know what I'm talking about. Then you go, then you are coming back like this. Suddenly, you realize how human you are. You realize you are so human, human, so vulnerable.
[5:59] The thing was just messing up, messing you up and you feel, God, no! Never again! That's what I'm talking about. This is a prayer topic we are about to pray. Jesus, when he was teaching us to pray, he said, when you pray, lead us not into temptation.
[6:15] Aha! Lead us, listen, if you have convictions, this is a prayer. Lord, help me to overcome this thing. Lord, help me never to go back. There are places Satan is using against you.
[6:27] There are things that have managed to slip into your life, which Satan is using against you. And we want to pray and say, God, give me strength.
[6:38] Help me to overcome. Help. How many of you understand what I'm talking about? Yes. Sometimes it might not be anything so bad, but sometimes it can be so contrary to the direction of your destiny.
[6:51] It's just not helping you. We are going to pray and ask God, God, this thing I have to be able to deal with it. Lord, help me to overcome it.
[7:02] Help me, Lord. Some of us, there's nothing to pray about to overcome. Ask God, God, help me to keep going so I never find myself in that compromised state again. That is going to lead me to my second thing to do to provoke a testament.
[7:20] It is this kind of prayer. Lord, help me. Help me to stay clean. It says, who ascends to the hills. Who ascends to the hills.
[7:31] Psalm 24. Who ascends to the holy hills of God. He says that, who may ascend unto the hill of the Lord. Who may stand in the holy hills.
[7:43] Verse 4. He who has clean hands and a pure heart. Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol not sworn deceitfully. He is the one who can ascend.
[7:54] And I believe that this season is a season of lifting. And as I said, when there's revival coming, it's always preceded by convictions that lead to repentance. So we want to pray.
[8:05] And you want to say, God, help me. Some of us, you want to just pray and say, forgive me, Lord. So you can pray for forgiveness. But most importantly, pray for help to stand.
[8:19] To stand. Acts chapter 22. It said, therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand. God can help you to stand. I said, God can help you to stand.
[8:32] God can help you to stand. Don't forget that if you are without chastisement, you are a bastard. So the conviction of the Lord is a healthy sign that God wants to bless you.
[8:45] The conviction of the Lord. The conviction of the Lord. Since we started fasting or since we came here tonight, yesterday when you came, you really are down about something that is going on in your life. You just don't like it. You just don't like it. It's not helping your work with God.
[8:57] And you hate it. And you want to pray, God, help me. Lift up your hands wherever you are. Talk to God right now. If you want to nail down, you can nail down. Wherever you are, just make sure you are talking to God. Begin to talk to God.
[9:08] Father, I pray for mercy. I pray for mercy. Help me. Help me to stand. Help me to stand. Help me. Help me. Help me to overcome this temptation. Help me to overcome this, this practices.
[9:21] Help me to overcome this challenge I'm going through. Help me to overcome. Help me, oh Lord, help me. Help me. Lift up your voice. Rapa, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba. Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry.
