[0:40] He has helped his servant Israel in remembrance of his mercy. He has helped his servant Israel in remembrance of his mercy.
[0:55] It's not everybody who makes a mistake and goes down. Some people can make the mistake others make.
[1:07] And the others, everybody who makes that mistake goes down. And they made that mistake and didn't go down. It's not everybody who makes a certain mistake that goes down.
[1:20] And when God shows you mercy, when you make a mistake and God shows you mercy, that means that this thing that the evil, the negative that was supposed to have happened to you, mercy absorbs it.
[1:41] That is why the cross of Christ is the greatest expression of God's mercy. That's why that is the only means we can be saved.
[1:54] Because on the cross, Christ single-handedly absorbs all the punishments that was due you and I.
[2:06] That is the classic manifestation, demonstration, and exhibition of mercy. I have a feeling, and I'm very convinced about this, that if there is something somebody should ask for, it's mercy.
[2:24] Tonight we are going to pray for mercy. Luke chapter 18 from verse 13. It said, And some translations say, Have mercy upon me, a sinner.
[2:57] He said, Be merciful to me, a sinner. And as he prayed for mercy, Jesus said, This one went his way justified. Jesus said in the, I tell you, This man went down to his house, Justify rather than the other.
[3:17] Who didn't bother to ask for mercy? Someone shout mercy. Mercy. I'm just, I want to prophetically announce to you, Start rehearsing.
[3:29] Some people very soon are going to ask you, How did you make it? You are fortunate. No, you won't say mercy. You will say, Mercy found me.
[3:44] Mercy found me. Mercy found me. Oh, God has showed me mercy.
[3:55] Stop bragging and say, Hallelujah, hallelujah. Yeah, it's good, hallelujah. But let people remember, That you are as unqualified as every other person.
[4:07] When you say, That God has showed me mercy. You are saying that, I'm actually also not qualified. I am actually also not. So, So, Whatever made the others not receive it, I have it, And even have more of that disqualifying factor.
[4:26] You might have more of the disqualifying factor, Someone might have just a little bit of the disqualifying factor, But God's mercy will put you ahead of them, And you will receive what they cannot receive, You will receive what they are not receiving, And you cannot explain it, But mercy, Sound mercy.
[4:50] God has had mercy. God has had mercy on me. And that's what we are going to pray about, For the next five minutes. Very short. But when you are praying for mercy, You don't pray about it and feel cool.
[5:03] Because you pray for mercy, With a sense of guilt. I will explain it. With a sense of, In other words, You are asking for mercy, Because you know that, You don't qualify.
[5:18] You don't qualify. When you look at your background, When you look at your history, When you look at things that have happened in your life, When you look at even recent spades of disobedience, That you have demonstrated to God, You don't deserve it.
[5:32] But mercy is what qualifies you to stand before Him, And ask Him that God, Is that therefore come partly, Before the throne of grace, That you obtain what?
[5:43] Mercy. When you come to the throne of grace, It's mercy you obtain, Before you find grace. You got to obtain mercy first. I feel somebody is going to tell others, That mercy has found me.
[6:00] Or, God has been merciful to me. When they ask you, I really liked your wedding, Your wedding was so beautiful. Just tell them, God has been merciful to me.
[6:11] God has been merciful to me. But, You want to ask first, In Psalm 89, Verse 24, Talking about David, This is God speaking.
[6:23] He said, But my faithfulness and my mercy, Shall be with him, And in my name, His horn shall be exalted. He said, My faithfulness and my mercy, Shall be with him, And in my name, Shall his horn be exalted.
[6:42] Now, If there is somebody, Who shouldn't have, Really gone far in God, It should have been David, Because of his, Murderous activity. Because of what he did.
[6:54] It was so serious, That David, But God said, My faithfulness and my mercy. So, Whatever David, David was, And became, It was because of mercy.
[7:07] Verse 28, Verse 28 says that, My mercy, I will keep for him, Forevermore. This is, This is a good promise, To catch in, Latch in on.
[7:20] This is a good promise. Somebody say mercy. Mercy. Not everybody, Who makes certain type of mistakes, Suffers, The consequences, That others suffer, When they make this.
[7:34] Am I, Am I excusing mistakes? No, I can't, Because, You might go, And never come back. Yeah, Because, Whatsoever you show, You shall reap.
[7:46] But the truth is, That you must be, An aspect, In, Asking God, To show you mercy. Asking God, To show you mercy.
[7:58] Sometimes, Maybe even know you. Paul, Listen, There's a gentleman, He was called, Epaphroditus, Philippians chapter 2, Verse 25, And 26, That guy was sick, He was about to die, And he says that, He was, But, Let's go to the verse 27, For indeed he was, Sick, Okay, Let's go, King James, A new King James, Sorry, For, Indeed he was sick, Almost unto death, But God had mercy on him, And not only on him, But, On me, Someone was sick, But God had mercy on me, So that that person, Will not die, Do you understand, What that means?
[8:42] There are people, In this church, Who cannot suffer, Certain tragic sorrow, I'm telling you, Now, When you are asking God, For mercy, It's not only you, For your sake, How about your brother, How about your sister, How about your mother, No, This is not a time, For your mother to die, Because, It will be too much for you, No, No, She has to see, Your second child, She must be, At your wedding, With her God, Back at her, Shut up, Baba, Baba, For your sake, Your mother will live, For your sake, Your father will live, For your sake, Some important people will live, For your sake, That company will not fall down, For your sake, Shout mercy, You will say, God has showed me mercy,
[9:44] They ask you, How did you, How did it happen so well for you, God has had mercy on me, God has showed me mercy, All, Mercy has found me, Mercy will make room for you, Be mercy conscious, Be mercy conscious, Be mercy conscious, Even in your fasting, Be mercy conscious, Remember Lord, Remember me, For my sake, My child, Will not fail their exam, Please, Don't underestimate, What mercy can do for people, You, Are here because of mercy, I am here because of mercy, Sir, You are here because of mercy, Yes, If your marriage is together, Mercy, If you have not buried, Your brother, Your sister, Or somebody, Your mother, Listen, It's mercy, Some of you here, Your mother is over 70, I can't imagine,
[10:47] If my mother has passed, The past, No, This is no good, I say, God, No, God, Show me mercy, So, This is a critical prayer, This is a very critical prayer, Don't only pray because of job, Some schools, Should have good, Offset response, Because of you, Because, I'm telling you, Because of you, Because of you, Some people must be, Must not lose their jobs, Because of you, Do you understand what I'm saying, Because, That manager is the one who fought, And kept you there, And protecting you, If that manager lives, The way your enemies, Will gang up on you, Is there, Boobie, See how far you brought me, Is there, Boobie, I'm so glad you found me,
[11:48] I can see, I can see, I can tell, And I know, It's your grace, Oh my day, I will sing your grace, Now lift up your two heads, We are going to pray, Everybody if you can, Rise your feet, Just ask God, God have mercy on me, If you don't have anything to say, God have mercy on me, You yourself, You know, Why you need mercy, You know, Why you should have mercy on you, Lord have mercy on me, Lord have mercy on me, Let me not make a mistake, In this my marital direction, Lord have mercy on me, I've been stubborn, I've been disobedient, I've been faithless, I've been faithless, I've been untangible, But Lord have mercy on me, Have mercy on me, Thank you for listening to this message,
