Look for Oil

[0:00] Hallelujah! We thank God you've tuned into this message by David Entry at Karis Church. No hand can help you with the fulfillment of your destiny but the Word of God.

[0:11] May God's hand align you further into your destiny through this word. It's again Kings chapter 4. And the prophet asked him, what can I do for you? What do you have? Verse 2. And I said the prophet, what shall I do for you? Tell me! What have you? What do you have in the house?

[0:35] And the woman said, May 7 has nothing in the house but oil. Oh yes. UK has not got anything at the moment. But there are one or two of us here who are in UK with oil.

[0:56] UK has not got anything in the house except a jar. The prophet said, what have you got?

[1:08] She came with a complaint that my servant is dead and the bay leaves are coming to carry all my sons away. There's no hope. So prophet, my servant was one of the sons of the prophet. So do something about it. What have you got in the house? What can I do for you? What have you got in the house?

[1:25] And the way she answered tells you she didn't realize the value of what she had. And if we have a little oil in this auditorium, all God is looking for, look at what the prophet said in the verse 3.

[1:40] The prophet said then, go borrow. All God is looking for is some vessels in this building. Because the oil will never finish. How come everything was finished in the house? But that oil was not an ordinary oil.

[1:57] It was little but that oil was never meant to finish. Because the husband was a prophet. And the prophet died. But he left the residue of what made him a prophet in the house.

[2:13] He said, borrow vessels. And that oil, just pour into it. Pour into it. Pour into it. Say, I know standing here what I am doing is not based on intelligence or based on education or based on any special connectivity.

[2:31] It is just based on oil. Oil. Someone shout oil. Oil. Don't take things for granted, say. Because what is making this work work is oil from above.

[2:47] As I stood there. And I realized that you don't have to do much. But just step into the floor. And the oil was activated and it was working.

[2:59] So, whilst you were there, an oil has been stirred up. As I stood there, I could tell, God is picking people. God is appointing people. God is selecting people. God is choosing people. God is choosing people.

[3:45] Shout oil. And so she borrowed oil. And she started pouring the oil in. And the oil never finished.

[3:59] What finished was vessels. When the vessels finished, the oil ceased. We have vessels, I taught you recently. We have vessels.

[4:10] He said, when Paul was being called, he said, I've chosen him to be a vessel. We have vessels to contain oil. Second Corinthians, it says that we have treasure in earthen vessels.

[4:23] Verse 7, verse 7. We have this treasure in earthen vessels. We are so natural. But they shouldn't make mistakes about us. We look like everybody.

[4:34] But they shouldn't make mistakes about us. There is something else in us. Which you can't find in others. And that thing in us is producing godly results. Is producing results that will fulfill God's agenda on earth.

[4:49] God's assignment on earth. God's program on earth. God's plan on earth. Shout out to you. God's plan on earthen vessels. So, God's plan on earthen vessels, groan vessels,! given is not induced is not generated that means that God has looked down on you favorably this water when you drink it you come back again you'll be thirsty but not the water that I give the water that I give whoever believes in me will never be thirsty whoever believes in me will never be thirsty whoever believes in me will never be thirsty whoever believes in me will never test hallelujah said the younger you are the more anointing you want the older you are the solutions you are looking for you so yeah I've been there but now I really need to buy this house I really need to sort this out when you are looking for

[6:14] God and nothing else is important to you like marriage for years people have been taught us for some of us we will never marry because all we wanted is anointing that's how Reverend still knows us we will be knew everywhere he was preaching we would go there those many years and then anointing anointing they knew us to be anointing seekers that's all we wanted when I met all these great men of God God has given privilege to meet I kneeled down and one thing I always want their oil not their fame not their importance not their money not their congregation not their puppet I have never desired the puppet of any great man of God never once all I want give me oil in my lamp keep me beneath it even helps you to stay consecrated it helps you when others are fighting about useless then you move away because what's your hair where your heart is what's your focus is you will not fight with another sister over a brother go for it you I won't live by myself I want the Holy Ghost you will not fight over another brother over a sister and so the girl I wanted some of you in your day of fire every time there's a sister on your mind there's a sister on your mind when you are looking for the oil and so we didn't see sisters wait the ladies as married we saw them as sisters some of them were so close to us sisters have been so close to us always because Christian sisters are always everywhere there's fire and some are very genuine one or two might be funny but you see it gets to a time you have to do what's needful other than that other things will overtake you so like you have exam next week and every evening you are here praying oh no it doesn't work like that stay at home and finish your exam then you come and pray for oil because if it is pure oil from God there will always be something in the house you can work with so if you have exam you don't spend too much time outside the library and if you don't go to the library and you have space in your room you steady you steady you come to church maybe Sunday and Sunday you come in like someone with preaching appointment come in early finish and when we finish run leave go and study because God doesn't write exam so if you don't study when you go and write it God will write it for you and you will fail and you will not be happy with you so we were not rushing over girls like what kind of spiritual fire brother is this who is always you've come already with three different girls I like this one wait let's pray after a small prayer I like this one too look look you you you won't go far in ministry you won't go far one sister will slay you like that oh yeah

[9:03] God is looking for certain people but God is not looking for not many wise not many noble the angel told Mary you don't need to know a man the power is that the Holy Ghost shall come upon you Luke 1 35 and the power of the highest shall overshadow you in Matthew chapter 25 from verse 1 3 10 virgins they were waiting for the coming of the master of their Lord and Bible says that the five were wise and five were foolish and the five wise virgins bought extra oil and the foolish ones stayed and at midnight they heard the sound the groom was coming and so they all got up to go but when they got up the foolish virgins realized they have run out of oil and so they asked the wise virgins can you give us some of your oil and the wise virgins said when it comes to the Holy Ghost I don't we don't share when it comes to the anointing to fulfill your destiny everybody have to get their going or get their own so they said if we share with you we'll all run out so go to those who sell them said but go rather to those who sell those who sell and buy tonight I believe someone is about to buy oil you are about to buy oil if it takes a shout to catch oil I will shout if it takes praying to catch oil I will pray if it takes jumping to catch oil I will jump whatever it takes I am ready oh Lord give me the oil give me the oil give me the oil use me for your work use me for a revival use me to shed the land use me oh Lord whatever it takes I am ready

[11:11] I am ready Lord I am ready Lord I am ready Lord shout oil oil oil let every other thing wait let every other thing wait oh Lord Lord if I can get the oil when David sinned against God he said cast me not away from your presence oh Lord Psalm 51 and take not the oil away from me you can take the kingdom you can take my family you can take my marriage you can take my resources take my wealth but don't take the oil don't take the Holy Spirit don't take the Holy Spirit don't take the Holy Spirit help me oh Lord to host the Spirit help me to accommodate your Spirit help me oh Lord shout oil oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah

[12:15] Jesus said in John chapter 16 that because I told you I'm going from verse 4 there sorrow has filled your heart but he said I tell you it is expedient for you that I go for if I do not go the comforter will not come but if I go I will send him he said it's so important for the church it's so important when you look at Acts every time they got born again the next junction was the Spirit came upon them so in Acts chapter 2 the Spirit came upon them mightily when we saw they got born again the Spirit came upon them mightily and then the church started to grow and things were happening and then the next phase we saw was when the church the gospel went to the next junction and that was in Samaria in Acts chapter 8 from verse 15 when the apostles at Jerusalem saw that Samaria have received the word the same Peter and John who when they came prayed that they might receive the Holy Spirit and when they laid their hands on them the Holy Spirit they received the Holy verse 17 and the Bible says when Simon the Serser verse 18 saw that the Spirit was given by the laying hands laying on of the apostles hand he offered money they said give me this also so that upon whosoever

[13:41] I lay my hands they will receive the Spirit he saw that the Spirit pouring on the people was the next phase of every move of God after born again and guess what Saul of Tarsus gets born again and Ananias in Acts chapter 9 verse 17 was sent that Paul or Saul will receive the Holy Ghost and as though that was not enough in Acts chapter 10 the house of Cornelius whilst Peter yet spoke these words whilst Peter yet spoke these words the Spirit fell upon all those who were listening ah I see the Holy Ghost falling I see the Holy Ghost falling I see the Holy Spirit falling shout all ye I need you Lord when Peter got to the house of Cornelius he said of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of person but in every nation whosoever feared him in every nation whosoever feared him and worked at righteousness is accepted of him then he began to tell them the facts about Jesus and in the verse 37 he says that which was published throughout all Judea and began from Galilee after the baptism of John then verse 38 it says that how God anointed Jesus Christ of Lezaret with the Holy Spirit and power that's true then after that as a result of the anointing he went about doing good healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with him

[15:36] God was with him the spirit of God is the seal of God's presence he said you have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise Ephesians chapter 1 verse 13 and 14 sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise Jesus said don't be in a rush in Acts chapter 1 verse 4 don't leave Jerusalem until you are endeared with power he said wait tarry ye in Luke chapter 24 verse 49 he said tarry ye he said that behold I send the prophet tarry ye in the city of the until you are endeared with power Acts chapter 1 verse 8 for ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you then ye shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem in Judea in Samaria to the Atomos battle this thing is not a hearsay or just try and error no try try and see whether maybe no no no it is a move of the spirit if you want God to use you you better start developing thirst and a hunger for the spirit in Acts chapter 7 verse 37 on the last day the great day of the feast

[16:50] Jesus stood with a loud voice and said if any man thirst if any man thirst if any man thirst if any man thirst are you thirsty at all when you are thirsty your shouting is not diplomatic when you are thirsty your behavior is not diplomatic you defy you defy diplomatic others you defy gentility because somebody is at the labor world when you are at the junction of birth you don't care about diplomacy that's not why you want to prove you are a lady that's not why you want to show you are a gentleman all you want to push for that child you want to push somebody is at the junction of ministry somebody is at the junction of fresh oil somebody is at the junction of the anointing salt oil some of you the only thing that bothers me about you is you are too gentle for the kind of anointing that needs to come you are too gentle you are too well behaved amen amen amen yes no since the days of john the baptist the kingdom of god suffer a violent and the violence shall take it don't be gentle don't be gentle when it comes to cursing grace cursing the oil don't be gentle don't be gentle don't wait for anything some of you are too gentle some of you you wait too long don't be gentle jesus said what you need to do god's work is the holy ghost it's the holy ghost they were wondering when they saw the kind of things he was saying and they knew that he was not as schooled and trained like they were wondering where does this man get these things no it's the holy ghost it's the holy ghost in the book of judges chapter 3 verse 10 in the book of judges chapter 6 verse 25 in the book of judges chapter 13 verse 25 yeah the spirit of the lord began to move him at
