Things that Generate Testimonies part 2

[0:13] Numbers 14, 28 says that, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as you have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.

[0:26] Guarantee of answered prayers. Yesterday I told you that prayers that believers pray don't go waste.

[0:40] When you pray, it is stored in the archives of covenant actions. So at the appropriate time, heaven will act.

[0:51] When you pray, you give heaven reason to act on the earth. So Jesus said when you pray, say, Let thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

[1:04] Because prayer authorizes heaven to act on earth. So anytime you pray, you have added into your storage.

[1:15] You have added into your covenant storage divine reactions. And at the appointed time, it shall come to pass in the name of Jesus.

[1:27] He said, As long as I truly as I live, saith the Lord, As you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you.

[1:42] God will act on your behalf. God will act on your behalf. In the mighty name of Jesus.

[1:52] I was talking about things to do to provoke or trigger testimonies. You remember? Things that lead to testimonies.

[2:06] Or generating testimonies. Say, generating testimonies. Number one, I say, What it takes to generate testimony is the spirit.

[2:17] As many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Wherever the spirit leads you, that's where God will bless you. And then number two, I spoke about prayer.

[2:31] That our praying gives God something to work with. On earth. Our praying gives God something to work with.

[2:42] When you pray, your hand to God handles. Earthly handles. Something he can use. You give him handles to work on earth.

[2:55] On your behalf. And so, to see testimony, everybody in scripture who has experienced the hand of God, one way or the other, there was some dimension of prayer behind the scenes.

[3:13] And that's why I'm so happy for you, that these, your prayers, are working for you. In Jesus' name. Number three, faith.

[3:26] Faith. But, when I say faith, it's in two ways. The faith to trust God, God, that he is, God is, and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

[3:47] He who comes to God must believe that he is. So, listen to this very carefully. He who comes. In other words, if you decide to be coming to God, whether to pray, to thank, to do anything, you have to come knowing, or believing, that he is.

[4:07] Believing that he is. And you come and pray, maybe, maybe God, if God, is that really God at all? No, he said, believe that he is. And not yet he is, he is able to do things to people.

[4:21] Because he is a rewarder of a certain type of people. So, he said, when you are coming to God in prayer, believe. And he said, for without faith, it's impossible to please God.

[4:33] For he who comes, for he that cometh to God, it's a necessary requirement. In all our dealings with God, the platform is faith.

[4:44] Now, so faith in two ways, coming to God and believing, but, there's nothing that strongly validates your faith, like, taking an action, based on what you hear, or you heard from God.

[5:05] So, he says, without faith, it is impossible to please God. And he who comes to God, must believe, that he is. And he said, what of it?

[5:16] Then he said, by faith, Noah, moved. By faith, Noah, when was warned, he moved with fear. Then the next guy said, by faith, Abraham, obeyed.

[5:29] You see, so, faith, the faith I'm talking about, that releases testimonies, is, the faith that is evidenced, through obedience.

[5:42] Obedience. You are praying, you are, you want to generate a testimony, but you are not working in obedience. Every time God wants to do something for you, he will give you an instruction, so that your obedience, become the platform, for what, the testimony that is about to come.

[6:06] Nobody ever goes closer to God, and never hears. Why? Because God is a speaking God. The more, you know him, the more, you will be hearing.

[6:21] No one ever gets close to God, and not hear. You actually hear first, and then, you see. You hear first, it's in the, I thought some time ago, in the realm of the spirit, hearing usually, precedes seeing.

[6:40] You hear. You hear. Why? Because, God does nothing, outside of his word. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.

[6:55] Listen to me, brothers and sisters. This season of fasting, God will be speaking to you. If, God is not speaking to you, that means you are not ready for it.

[7:07] He doesn't have a testimony for you. Do you understand what I'm saying? Oh, I know what you are thinking. You hear a thunder. Hello, my son, my son.

[7:20] As we are praying, Bible says, as many as are led by the spirit, the other son of God, Romans chapter 8, verse 16 says that, the spirit himself, bears witness with our spirit.

[7:34] So, it's an intent now, sometimes, the more, you are growing spiritually, listen to this very carefully, the more you are growing spiritually, sometimes, the more, the voice of God is so much, inside you, that you think, that you think, is you telling yourself.

[7:51] So, maybe I'm sitting down, and I feel like, tapping him on the shoulder. And maybe it's God. But, it's, God speaks, from my spirit, with my spirit.

[8:01] So, but that sometimes, I might even think, that it's myself, if my spirit is speaking to me. God, will speak to you. Most people, want to hear from God. How many of us, will love to hear from God?

[8:13] Are you very sure? One of the things, which is good too, many people, are always wanting, what does God think, about this person, I want to marry? I want to do a course.

[8:24] What, what should I do? I want to travel. How long should I stay? See, these are little details, that sometimes, we are not sure of. But, most of us, want to hear the voice of God.

[8:38] Right? You all. You see, the reason why, it's not clear to us, sometimes, is because, we want to hear the voice of God, by having conditioned our hearts, for radical obedience.

[8:50] It's your heart, of obedience, willingness to obey, that makes the voice of God, even prompt. And more, clearer to you. Willingness to obey.

[9:01] Now, if, if you want to enjoy, your walk with God more, then begin to pray for grace, to walk in, covenant obedience more. Do you understand that? So that, whatever God tells you, sometimes, God will give you instructions, that are very hard.

[9:16] He will give you instructions, but you, you deeply know, in your heart, that, this, this is of God. Now, because of, it looks like, I'm actually speaking, out of the voice of God. Because of that, let me just make something, a bit clearer.

[9:28] if I come to, and I said, I feel God is telling me, you should give me, this book, or you should give me your shoe, for the Sunday.

[9:41] Now, there are times, you have that, genuine, and it's so, in fact, you dreamt about it, something was telling you, tell him to give you your shoes. You can, you can have that, and you are sure, this is God.

[9:51] But please, as, anything, that benefits you, it can easily be yourself, or the devil. Even though, God can. If you like a woman, very much, it is very easy, for you to believe, God is telling you, that's your wife.

[10:07] You will be dreaming about it, some of you have been dreaming about people, am I right? Yeah. If you like somebody, very much, if you like a certain car, and you've been planning, to one day buy, it's easy to see yourself, driving one, in a dream, sorry, I mean, in a dream.

[10:28] And then three times, four times, then you conclude that, God has said, I should buy this car. Do you not be so, too keen, on, beneficial instructions.

[10:42] In other words, God said, I should tell you, to give me, thousand pounds. Leave that, God to speak to that person too. God said, you should be my husband.

[10:54] God said, you should be my wife. God said, all those things, please, don't, even if you are sure, God is saying, because, you are the beneficiary, it's likely, your instincts, are talking to you, think it's God.

[11:07] But, how about this? I've got my last, thousand pounds, I've been saving, to buy my wedding dress. And, I just, when I'm praying, I feel this, I don't want to, it's so strong on my heart.

[11:18] And so, I'm having convictions, and then God said, I should give to him. And when the convictions, are strong, very strong convictions, now, I'll explain it. And I give it to him.

[11:31] My heart, even if I didn't hear God well, but my heart of dedication, that was willing to pay, that kind of price, pushes me into a space, of divine, covenant blessing.

[11:43] Do you understand that? Even maybe, maybe it's my own mind, but because of the nature, of the heart of obedience, looking at the nature, of the demand, because a lot of people, will not do it, but I was willing to, I, it's not for my, for me to look good, it's not for my, instant gratification, it's actually, it's a major loss, and sacrifice, but I, I was willing to, obey God, to do it.

[12:06] Even if I miss God, it's the obedience factor, and the heart of obedience, that has, gave me something. Now, I might have a heart of obedience, God is telling me, give your car to pastor, but I'm a married man, I have to run it past my wife, I can't, my wife said, no, no, no, we can't do that, because we are paying, we bought it together, we saved everybody, it's family car, if God is, no, no, no, no, no, you can't give it to him, but I can't say, no, you can't stand in the way of God, God has spoken, no, no, no, it doesn't work like that.

[12:37] Anybody who claims, a special revelation from God, but no, authority person around them, can authenticate it, it's dangerous, if you tell me, God said, this is my husband, maybe you are genuine about it, but others must be able to check, he said, if anyone prophesies, let the others examine it, 1 Corinthians chapter 14, verse 29, let the prophets speak, two or three, and let the others judge, let the others judge, so if you claim, God is speaking to you, and you are the only one, who is hearing it, and no other spiritual person, no other, either spiritual person, or person of authority, in your life, or someone, who is also going to bear the brand, of your obedience, what I am trying to tell you is, you have other believers, you are serving God with, and God is speaking to you, and they have concerns, but you are not listening, because you believe,

[13:39] God is speaking to you alone, and these are not fake people, people you respect, and people you know, are not just carnal, you have to cease fire, and wait, and pray further, am I talking to somebody at all, but the point I am trying to make is, obedience, when God is with you, works show, that's today's reading now, Jesus said verse 25, Jesus said, that didn't touch me, so Jesus said, I told you, and you do not believe, the works that I do, in my father's name, they bear witness, what, he said, works are showing, that God is with me, oh, your works are going to be telling, very soon, that God is with you, our obedience, will crown us, champions, in the field of testimony, please, look for, a heart of obedience, there are relationships, you are supposed to break, you are not breaking, there are people you are supposed to call, and say,
