[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every true revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's word. May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.

[0:12] The prayer topic is based on today's reading, verse 2. Colossians chapter 4, verse 2 says, Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving.

[0:28] Yesterday was thanksgiving. And you see I was telling you about how thanksgiving is crucial. Now I said continue in prayer. Let's read the first three words together.

[0:41] Continue in prayer. Please say it again. Continue in prayer. Please say it louder. Continue in prayer. And for the last time even louder. Continue in prayer.

[0:52] It says continue in prayer. Why? That means you can stop praying. Continue in prayer. And these all, Acts 1.14, these all continued with one accord.

[1:09] Acts chapter 6, verse 4. But we will give ourselves continually. Acts chapter 2, verse 42.

[1:22] And they continue. So you notice that continuing prayer is so important. But prayer is not the only thing you continue in. Because in Acts chapter 2, verse 42.

[1:35] It says, and they continue steadfastly in doctrine, in fellowship, in breaking of bread, and in prayer.

[1:46] All right. So there are things that you need to continue in to guarantee continuous supply. So our prayer topic is going to be, oh Lord, for grace to continue in the things I need to.

[2:08] So that after the fasting, you don't downgrade your focus, your pursuit. This fasting is meant to kickstart something that you are supposed to continue in.

[2:22] Amen. You can be doing one thing, and it doesn't mean you continue doing. Amen. Doing well in something, or as I normally put it, good behavior is not a permanent possession.

[2:40] So then you have to believe God for grace to continue in things that you need to continue in. Now when it came to the apostles, they said, we will give ourselves continually to the ministry of the word, to prayer, and the ministry of the word.

[2:58] Verse 4, Acts 6. That's what will make their ministry or their assignment in life get fulfilled. If you are a student, you have to continue in studying.

[3:12] Do you understand what I'm saying? You have to continue in studying. To be a good husband, you have to continue in ignoring a lot of things that are worth ignoring.

[3:25] It's not everything you complain about. So you've done well so far. Continue. If you are going to be a good wife, there are things you have to continue in not talking about.

[3:36] Just leave it. Because every time it begins to bring excessive tension. And then you can tell. If this kind of tension continues coming, the marriage will not continue.

[3:50] So you have to foresee quickly and choose what is good to continue in. We all have things that we need to continue in. Some of us, this season has been good for you.

[4:02] But you need to continue in some stuff. Continue in deciding not to be gossiping. You see what I'm talking about? Continue in not going to some places.

[4:13] Because it's always been your biggest problem. You have to continue in the right thing. Continue in serving. Continue in being constant.

[4:26] But it's one thing, wanting to do it. It's one thing knowing you have to do it. It's another thing being able to do it. And so it's always wiser to pray about what you know can make you a victim.

[4:41] Don't think, I mean, I'll be okay. I'll be okay. You don't know what Satan has under his sleeves. Jesus said, pray that you don't fall into temptation.

[4:52] So prayer is an immunity, a means of immunizing yourself into falling into temptation. Anybody who falls into temptation is a reflection that some kind of prayer didn't happen.

[5:06] Because when prayer is in place, you will hardly fall into temptation that can ruin your destiny. Saul, of his sacrifice, lost the throne.

[5:19] David killed Uriah. And he didn't lose the throne. And even though that was worse, he didn't lose the throne. And Samson could stay with people, Ashkelon.

[5:34] He went to, and as long as his hair was there, he was fine. As long as his hair. See, so what was keeping him for his destiny, if you go and copy him and think he's got away with this so you also get away, the destinies are different.

[5:53] Do you understand what I'm saying? So then you have to pray that God help me. Everybody has got his strength. And everybody has got your weakness. You thrive in life based on your strength.

[6:06] You thrive in life based on your strength. But there are certain weaknesses that are a major threat to your strength. And so you have to watch out against some very dangerous weakness.

[6:20] Every weakness is not good. But some of it is menial. So you believe God as you grow and work on.

[6:31] You'll be able to sort it out. But others is crucial. So it says that let us not be wary in doing what is right. So that's the prayer.

[6:41] We want to pray that God help me not to be tired in doing what is right. I receive grace. Say I receive grace. Say I receive grace.

[6:52] Not to be tired. Not to be tired in doing what is right. There are things that you have to keep doing.

[7:03] Keep doing. Because it says that those kind of things, what is right for your destiny, if you keep doing it. If we faint not, we shall reap. There is a due season.

[7:15] There is nothing that is right which you keep doing and you will not reap from it. Anytime you keep doing what is right for your destiny. In due season, it will speak.

[7:28] Don't worry about those who are not doing it the way you are doing it. Don't worry. Your destiny will justify you. All you have to do is you must know what is right for your destiny.

[7:40] If your friends, if your compatriots, if your associates are doing this thing and you know, this is not what I'm saying. But they are doing it and seem to be getting away with it. You also want to join.

[7:50] Leave them. Do what is right. Do what is right. Do what is right. Because in due season, you shall reap.

[8:02] To continue in what is right is important. Continue. Continue. Work in forgiveness. Don't work in offense. It will offend your destiny.

[8:16] Continue after the fasting. Continue. You are doing what is right. Who bewits you to stop it? Who cutting on you? So we are going to pray.

[8:29] And then we close. God, give me grace to continue in doing what is right. In well doing. In well doing. Because man can reward me.

[8:41] But in due season. In due season. In due season. Yes. Yes. He didn't say I'll be rewarded.

[8:53] I shall reap. In due season. In due season, you shall reap. You shall reap. It will happen. Oh, it will happen.

[9:05] You remember when you, some of you who have finished uni and have good jobs. You remember in secondary school, that guy who always smoking weed.

[9:17] Smoking weed. Look at him today. But they were worn those days. They thought life is just about today. Biggest part of life is tomorrow. So you always have to work today towards tomorrow.

[9:31] Forget about today. Because today you are reaping what you did yesterday. So you have to determine the outcome of tomorrow today. That is why you have to continue. You have to continue.

[9:42] You have to continue. You have to continue. Don't be worried in well doing. You are doing well. Keep it up. For in due season, you shall reap. I want to pray that God, oh, for grace.

[9:54] Someone say grace to continue. Lift up your right hand. Pray that God, give me grace. Give me grace to continue. Give me grace.

[10:06] Give me grace to continue. Grace to persevere. I receive grace to push to the end. I receive grace, oh Lord. Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry.
