Hearing Easily from God

[0:00] Hallelujah. We thank God you've tuned into this message by David Entry at Karis Church. No hand can help you with the fulfillment of your destiny but the Word of God.

[0:10] May God's hand align you further into your destiny through this Word. In Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 1, it says that, I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what he will say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

[0:32] Watch to see what he will say unto me. So that means when there are certain seasons, you have to be in a birthing position.

[0:43] Jesus said, watch and pray. You must be alert, ready for what God will say. Your focus is, what is God saying? What is God doing?

[0:54] What is God saying? That will give you an upper hand in life. Because every season comes with its blessings. But those who will be able to make most of a season are those who bend their ears to what God is saying.

[1:12] He that has an ear, let him hear Revelation 2.7. Let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. In this season, in these times, God will be definitely speaking some things to people.

[1:29] Some of you, it will be the beginning of your ministry. Amen! I'm not saying you are going to start a church. Your ministry, God can alter your steps. And you can come to Pastor Will or come to me or come to any of the senior pastors.

[1:44] I feel God is leading me. What should I do? What should I do? Open to mentorship. Anybody who claims God has spoken to him or her. And because of that, no one can speak to them.

[1:55] It's the devil they've listened to. Bible says, by the mouth of two or three witnesses. How come you only one and you have heard? That's how many of the major religions were started.

[2:09] There's no witness. That's why in Christianity, you can challenge the Bible where we are not afraid. You can challenge the Bible. But the places where there are no witnesses, you don't touch it.

[2:20] Leave it the way it is. So anybody who claims, God has spoken to me. God has spoken to me. And I have to obey God. And they spiritualize it. I have to obey God. I have to obey God.

[2:31] So to make you look spiritual. Which other spiritual authority in your life has affirmed what you say you have heard God from? So in these seasons, in this few days and beyond, bend your ears.

[2:46] Your biggest and greatest asset in life is your ability to hear from God. And don't expect God to say, my son Shaul. No.

[2:57] You might not hear that. But he will speak it to your spirit. As you read your Bible, some things will become clear. Sometimes in dreams. So in this season, sometimes God will speak to you in a dream.

[3:08] I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower. And I will watch to see what he will say to me. God is saying something. In this season, I'm telling you, your breakthrough will be handed to you.

[3:23] Yes. Your breakthrough will be handed to you. Your testimony. Your clear, clear divine guidance. Clear divine guidance. It's important to understand that God will be speaking to us.

[3:36] God wants people who wants to listen to him. One of the easiest ways to listen to God is to want to hear from him. Or one of the easiest ways for God to speak to you is to want to hear from him.

[3:50] When you desire that and you stay within remits of sound biblical discipleship, it's very easy. With a humble heart. In this season, please bend your ears.

[4:04] And number two, reasons why God can speak to people easily. If God wants to speak to you easily. Or if you want God to speak to you easily.

[4:15] Number one, have a desire to hear from him. Number two, be in readiness to obey even if it doesn't make sense. Your obedience will facilitate the voice of God to you.

[4:27] Your readiness to act. Your willingness to step out. Jesus said, walk. Come to me. And he came.

[4:38] Your willingness to step out will facilitate the voice of God in your life. And when you have the voice of God, there is no way you can ever be a victim in life.

[4:50] Many of you here, your future is so beautiful. Even if you lost grounds in the past year or two, this season has given you another opportunity.

[5:05] God has granted somebody a new face. A new season. A new opportunity. And maximized it in the name of Jesus.

[5:15] Jesus. That means that you have to withdraw yourself or detach yourself from infiltrations. Things that will not help your willingness or your ability to obey quickly.

[5:31] And things that will not help your concentration on God. Some associations, some exposures don't help your pursuit of God.

[5:42] And you should know there are some places you should... Listen. There is nobody who is genuinely pursuing God who does not know places that he shouldn't go. If you are genuinely pursuing God, it comes by nature.

[5:56] You just know that I can't be going to this place. I can't be seeing this person. You know. You know. Sometimes we are soft on ourselves.

[6:07] So we are hoping to eat our cake and have it. We are hoping to keep Peter and Paul together. Rob Peter to pay Paul. We are hoping to keep our hands full and still make space for God to put something in our hands.

[6:23] But anytime you try to work with God, you know there are things you have to withdraw yourself from. And so... It shouldn't... Listen.

[6:34] It doesn't have to be something very big. That's what people are waiting for. Obedience in little things is not a little thing. Obedience.

[6:46] Something little. Maybe somebody took a seat you are going to sit on. Someone took it. And you wanted to move their stuff to the next. And you knew. You fell in your spirit. The Holy Spirit said, leave it.

[6:57] No. It's so simple. It might not even mean anything. No one will know. But you see. When you start practicing obedience in those little things. Don't wait for a big thing. In order to show your obedience.

[7:08] Look for little ways to be obedient to God. Ah. I didn't like the way that brother said that thing. And the Holy Spirit said, don't worry. Leave it. When you see him, just behave like you don't know about.

[7:19] Just say. You just know. But when you saw him, you said, no. This guy. So you ignore what the Spirit of God told you. Because that's not a big thing. You are waiting for God to tell you. Go to Jamaica to win 20 souls.

[7:32] No. He doesn't. God doesn't. Before he would send you to Jamaica. He would be speaking to you about your dishes in the kitchen. Simple. Simple. He would tell you. I know.

[7:43] Your wife is supposed to do it. Because it's her day. It's her time. Because you're on the Esirota. Some families. The husband has the day. He does the dishes. And then the wife. So it's your wife's season.

[7:54] And she's left it again. And she'll say it's yours next week. But the only Spirit to tell you. Just in fact. Go and watch it. You won't do it. But you are hoping that God will tell you.

[8:05] Go to Downing Street. And he'll give you a prophetic word for the Prime Minister. You see what I'm talking about? Obedience in little things. In little things. Tells. It actually is an acid test.

[8:17] Of where your heart really is. Not the big things. So this season. If there's anything we have to do. He said. I'll stand upon my watch. And I'll stand upon my ramchipat.

[8:29] Set myself upon the tower. And watch what he will say to me. And what I shall answer when I am. Verse 2. And the Lord answered and said unto him. Write the vision. Make it plain upon the table.

[8:41] That he may run that read it. There are things you have to read and write. And keep your focus on it. Some of us. Sometimes. Even on your fridge. If the fridge is yours.

[8:53] There are things you can paste on your fridge. Because that's where you go a lot. So. Somewhere. Sometimes. Maybe on your computer. Maybe in front of your dressing room. On your phone.

[9:04] On your phone. Your screen. Wallpaper. Some things. I walk by faith and not by sight. Something that God. I'm not saying you have to write it everywhere. But find a way of.

[9:15] It's in your face. That you can run as you read it. You can run as you read it. There are things God will speak to you. Document them. Document them.

[9:26] And some. Write them so you can remember. The next verse says that. For the vision is here for an appointed time. But at the end. It shall speak. And not lie.

[9:37] Though it tarries. Wait for it. It will surely come. It will not tarry. So whatever God is telling you. Is real. God will only tell you the reality of tomorrow.

[9:47] Which might look very far from today. But just walk with God. Trust God. Relax. God is in control. Is it your marriage?

[9:58] Is it your health? Is it your finances? Is it your career? Yeah. Don't worry. When you lose a job. Trust God. It's not the end of it. I know people who have lost jobs. And gotten a better job.

[10:09] Thank God you lost your job. It takes a Goliath. To crown David a champion. So don't be afraid of Goliath. Let Goliath come. But trust God. That this Goliath.

[10:20] Will be like the bear. And the lion. I believe God is taking somebody to a new season. So I want to encourage you. Bend your ears. Obey God.

[10:30] Take steps. Don't be afraid. And trust God. Don't be afraid. Trust. Don't compare yourself to people. And don't let somebody's progress intimidate you. Because sometimes it may look like.

[10:41] What's happening to me? Everybody's getting miracle money. Ask for me alone. What is happening? You don't need miracle money. Maybe you need miracle gold. Gold. Yeah. Maybe a miracle gold is coming in the next few years.

[10:54] Something else is coming. A miracle house. Which one is better? Miracle house. Miracle money. Somebody will gift you a house. Pastor. That's one of the things I'm believing will start happening in our church.

[11:07] That people will give testimonials of houses. All it requires is just be faithful with God. Walk with God. Because in due season you shall reap. If you faint not.
