Is revival just a feeling? David Antwi unpacks the true nature of genuine spiritual revival, detailing its profound characteristics and the life-transforming conversions that signal God's authentic work. Understand what it truly means to be genuinely converted.
[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every true revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's word.! May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.
[0:13] Chapter 19 verse 20. Let's go. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. One more time. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
[0:25] For the last time. So mightily grew the word of God. And prevailed. Amen. Father, thank you for gathering us together. We pray that as we get into your word.
[0:37] Let your word grow. Let it grow so much from here spreading everywhere in this nation, on this continent, in this generation. And let it prevail.
[0:47] Our hearts are open. Do wonders by your word. Bring healing by your word. Bring revival by your word. Bring direction by your word.
[0:58] Bring salvation by your word. Bring amazing testimonies by your word. Thank you for your word.
[1:08] In Jesus' name. Amen. Somebody say revival. Revival. May I bring to attention that revival is not a feeling.
[1:19] So I have revival. No, revival is not a feeling. Revival is the widespread move of God in a place which invariably results in high rates of genuine conversions.
[1:36] It's a move of God in a place. It can be in a church. It can be in a community. It can be in a family. Revival is something that happens not just a person but in a place.
[1:46] And it's widespread. Repeated incidents of conversions happening to different, different, different people. And what is happening to these different people is genuine conversion.
[1:58] It's resulting in genuine. So in fact, this means that describe what a genuine conversion looks like. Because there are places where people say there's revival. And there's no revival because there is no resulting in genuine conversions.
[2:13] So when we talk about genuine conversions, we mean conversions of spiritual impact in people's life. That is Christ-centered. Every genuine conversion is Christ-centered.
[2:28] It's God-loving. It's salvation-resulting. It's redemption-actualizing. It's life-transforming. It's fellowship-enjoying.
[2:40] It's gospel-appreciating. It's sin-abhorring. It's spirit-yielding. It's discipleship-prone. It's Bible-induced.
[2:51] It's faith-based. It's grace-founded. It's forgiveness-enjoyed. It's heaven-assured.
[3:01] It's God-promoting. It's church-building. It's saints-serving. And it's certainly brethren-loving. All these things.
[3:13] When there's genuine conversion, you'll see all these things are mentioned. Let me tell you again. God-loving. Christ-centered. If it's not resulting in a Christ-centered pursuit, Christ-centered church life, spiritual life, it's not a conversion.
[3:28] The fact that people are coming and shaking in church and screaming, if it's not Christ-centered, it's not revival. It's not revival. It's a very good church activity going on. Serious activities are going on.
[3:40] So it must be Christ-centered and it must be God-loving. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. Romans 5.5. The love of God is growing in people.
[3:50] People are becoming more sensitive and loving to God. If your conversion is genuine, if you say you have converted and it's genuine, one of the major signs is you love God.
[4:04] When you love God, you don't find the things of God boring. Someone will say that, I'm genuinely converted. But anytime we saw his prayer times, oh, this is too much.
[4:15] Ah! You have it. Because when you are genuinely converted, you actually love God so much and the things of God so much that other things in your life are likely to begin to suffer.
[4:27] Oh, yes. The love of God that is stirred in your heart make other things suffer unless you are intentionally and carefully discipled and taught.
[4:39] You can love God so much that other things can suffer. There are ways you can even love God your marriage can suffer. You can love God, your finances can suffer. You can love God and your health can even suffer because of the way you are doing things.
[4:53] So that is what discipleship does. Discipleship puts your conversion in a context. A holistic context because life is not one-sided. You are a tripartite being.
[5:04] You are a spirit. You have a soul and you live in a body. You cannot live by your spirit and ignore your body. You will suffer. So, but are you wrong? You are actually not wrong in loving God.
[5:14] But if you are not taught, you might think that all that there is to life is this your newfound love. Genuine conversion makes you really love God.
[5:26] So, those who can't exhibit love for God, I beg to submit. They are not genuinely converted. Christ-centered, God-loving, and then I said it's salvation resulting.
[5:41] You end up being saved. If you are genuinely converted, you are saved. That's why we talk about salvation. You are actually saved. You are saved. When God is calling his saints, you are one of them.
[5:52] Why? Because you are converted. And then it is redemption actualizing. The work of Christ on the cross. That's where communion means something to you. Because you have been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ.
[6:03] 1 Peter 1, verse 19. Redeemed by the precious. The thing becomes actual. It becomes real. So, it's redemption actualizing. And it is, ah, I like this.
[6:17] It's life transforming. Let's not say life transforming. You cannot be converted and your life hasn't transformed. When you are converted, people will know. People close to you will know.
[6:29] People who are not being so close to you will know. If you want to know whether the gospel works, look at the transformed lives. Transformed lives. So, genuine conversion is life transforming.
[6:43] If your conversion is genuine, we must see it in the life that has been transformed. Some people have added church activity to their lives, but they are not saved. Because there's no evidence of transformed lives.
[6:56] So, life transforming. And it's, oh, this one is nice. It's fellowship and joy. If you are genuinely converted. Born again, I mean. You don't find church boring.
[7:12] David said, I was glad. When they said unto me, let us go unto. In Acts chapter 2, verse 41. And about 3,000 people were baptized in that same day.
[7:25] Verse 42. And those people continued in the first thing. Apostles doctrine. Second. And fellowship. You don't find fellowshipping boring.
[7:38] When you are born again, fellowship is very enjoyable for you. Those who claim they are transformed, they are born again. Those who claim they are converted.
[7:49] And they find going to church a big problem. Chances are that you are actually not genuinely converted. It's not a genuine conversion. Because genuine conversion, it generates this enjoying feeling.
[8:03] You enjoy fellowship. It's not like you have to tune yourself to enjoy. No, no, no, no. It comes naturally. It comes naturally. It just comes. You can't wait for the next fellowship.
[8:15] Genuine conversion is fellowship enjoying. Am I preaching? Number seven. Every genuine conversion is gospel appreciating.
[8:28] They appreciate the true gospel. You don't find it boring. When you, oh yeah. And it means a lot to you. You find it easy to tell others. Because you actually respect and appreciate the gospel.
[8:42] When you are genuinely converted. When you are genuinely born again. You are not ashamed to talk about the gospel. Because every genuine conversion is gospel appreciating.
[8:53] Am I talking to anybody here? And then if per chance you fall into sin. You feel so disgusted. You feel so disappointed.
[9:05] You feel so deflated. You feel so down. Because you actually hate sin. Because when you convert. You just, at this test towards sin. That generally.
[9:16] It comes. I'm not, no. These things I'm not trying to say you try to put it up. No. It comes naturally. Everyone here. Who is genuinely converted. Genuinely born again. You can attest to what I'm saying.
[9:28] It's genuine. It just comes naturally. Sin abhorring. You abhor sin. You don't like it. It doesn't mean you become sinless. But it's certainly sinless.
[9:41] Number nine. Spirit yielding. When you are genuinely converted. Bible says as many as are led by the spirit. They are the sons of God. The spirit of God bears witness with our spirits.
[9:52] That we are the sons of God. Romans chapter 8 verse 14 and 16. So you don't struggle to yield to the Holy Spirit. When you are born again. Sometimes you are bent on me.
[10:03] I will never forgive it. I will never. Me. I've said it. And then the spirit. You feel the spirit working in your life. You yield. When you are genuinely converted. You easily yield to the spirit.
[10:15] Once you know it's the spirit. You might not yield to a pastor. You might not yield to some friends. You might not yield to doctrines. You might not yield to some things. But you genuinely yield to the spirit. Once you know it's the spirit.
[10:27] Your heart is very soft towards God. You develop a soft heart for God. Genuine conversion is spirit yielding. Number 10.
[10:38] Genuine conversion is discipleship prone. Prone. Every local church pastor. Who is pastoring a local church. Right. One of the things that responsibility places on you.
[10:52] Is to keep your eyes open. On who is trying to steal influence in the church. How do you know them? Their results in the church. Their productivity in the work.
[11:04] Their fruitfulness in the work. Is very scanty and wanton. Many pastors are weak. Because they can confront. Anti-discipling elements.
[11:17] Because it takes a lot of confidence in God. Purity in God. Focus on assignment and mission. To be able to be strong. To confront. But if you are a socialist pastor.
[11:28] You have to use. Divide and conquer. Or niceness. To keep people in check. And the gospel doesn't keep them. So because the gospel is not in your mouth.
[11:40] You are always afraid. To confront things by the gospel. And there is nothing to contend for. Apart from your own importance. And relationship with people. That is why.
[11:53] Some people don't easily stay. Far too long on their pulpit. If you are a pastor. And you have access to people. In the congregation.
[12:04] And you are supposed to be close. To the head pastor. But the pastor never hears. Any one thing. From you. About the matters you are solving. Your heart might be genuine.
[12:15] But you are a very dangerous business. And so you should not be promoted. Before the congregation. To look very powerful. Because you might weaken.
[12:26] The unity of a system. The leaders. We speak with one voice. We speak with one voice. Is that one learning? This is actually going for some pastor.
[12:39] Who is looking for revival. Yeah. For every church to be healthy. Discipleship oriented church. The pastor must be on ground.
[12:50] As much as possible. Yeah. So. Every genuine conversion. Is discipleship prone. Yeah. What do I mean?
[13:01] When you are genuinely converted. You are ready for instructions. Yeah. You are happy. You are happy. You are happy. For someone to tell you. Do this. Do that. So when people say.
[13:11] The church is controlling. It's a sign. They are not discipleship prone. Yeah. Okay. So. Number 11. Every genuine conversion. Is Bible induced.
[13:23] If you are genuinely converted. There will be Bible behind a thing. Anybody who is genuinely converted. There will be Bible. In other words. The word of God. The teaching of the word of God. Would lead to that.
[13:35] You can't just be converted. And you have not heard the word of God. The Bible has not been spoken to you. It's always Bible induced. Number 12. Every genuine conversion.
[13:47] Is faith based. You can say I have converted. But I don't have faith to. I. So we are only saved by faith. Whosoever believeth in him. Salvation.
[13:59] It says. For by grace are you saved. Ephesians 2.8. Through faith. So. It's. It's faith based. Every genuine conversion.
[14:09] Anyone who is genuinely converted. Has faith. So Ephesians. Chapter 1. It says. Therefore when I heard of your faith. From verse 14. When I heard of your faith. In the Lord Jesus Christ.
[14:19] And the love for the saints. Okay. So. Wherefore. Also. Verse 15. After I heard of your faith in the Lord. And the love. When you are genuinely converted.
[14:31] You have faith in Jesus. That's what it means. Number. 13. Every genuine conversion. Is grace. Founded. For by grace. Are you saved.
[14:43] So you. You don't give. All the credit to yourself. That is because I'm very smart. No. It's. You just. You. You develop. You develop. An appreciation. For what is called grace. Every genuine conversion.
[14:55] Is. Forgiveness. Guarantee. It guarantee. You know. If you are genuinely converted. You know. You are genuinely. You are really forgiven. Hallelujah. You know. It is. Forgiveness. Guaranteeing.
[15:06] Anyone who is forgiven. Anyone who is converted. Genuinely. Knows that. They have forgiveness. In the blood of Jesus. They just. It comes. Even if you don't. If you are not taught it.
[15:17] You. There's this inner knowing. And conviction. That. You are forgiven by God. Number 15. Every genuine conversion. Is. Heaven. Assuring. You just know.
[15:29] That you have connection. In heaven. Jesus said. Don't rejoice. Because demons. Are bowing to you. Luke chapter 10. From verse 17. 18. 19. Don't rejoice. Because devils are subject to you. But rejoice.
[15:40] Because your names. Are written. In. Because your names. Are written in heaven. When you are genuinely converted. There is this connection. With heaven. That makes you know.
[15:51] Even when you die. You know you go to heaven. It is. It is deep. Inside. Amen. And number. 16. Every genuine conversion. Is God promoting.
[16:03] And we listen to you. Very carefully. You don't struggle. To promote God. Even if it means. You look bad. You look odd. You look unwise. You don't struggle. To promote God.
[16:14] Number 17. Every genuine conversion. Is church building. I don't mean like. Church auditorium. It builds a church. Every genuinely converted person. I like this church message.
[16:25] I am teaching. It is church building. They build a church. And number 18. Saints serving. They serve the saints.
[16:35] That's the believers. They don't struggle. To serve believers. Whatever I have to do. To bless believers. No problem. It's a sign. Of genuine conversion. In 1st John chapter 5. Verse 1.
[16:46] It says that. If you love God. You cannot say you love God. And you don't love the one. God has begotten. When you love God. It automatically generates. A love for those. Who have been born by God.
[16:57] Is there. Whosoever believeth. That Jesus. Is the Christ. Is born of God. And everyone. That loveth him. That begat. Loveth him also. That is begatting of him.
[17:09] He said. If you love. The one who begat. You will also love. The one who is begatting. By him. You can't separate. Your love. For God. From your love.
[17:20] For the brethren. If you really love God. Automatically. You will love the brethren. Who God has. I'm teaching something. Very important. Me. It's Jesus. I love. That's what church people.
[17:31] I don't love. You don't love Jesus. In fact. You are an enemy of the cross. The scripture has found. You have caught you. You have been caught red handed. Because if you love God. You will also.
[17:42] Invariably. Automatically. That's what makes you like fellowship. You. Invariably. Love those. Who are born of God. Or the people of God. In Hebrew chapter 6 verse 10.
[17:55] It says. For God is not righteous. To forget your labor of love. In that you minister. To the saints. And you do minister. So you are ministering to the saints. It comes naturally. When you are genuinely born again.
[18:07] Jesus said. In John chapter 13 verse 34. 35. By this. All men will know. That you are my disciples. By this. All men know. That you are my disciples. If you have love.
[18:18] One for another. The brethren. The brethren. First Peter. It talks about. Your love for the brethren. Which. The scripture assumes. That. If you are in Christ. You love the brethren. Yes.
[18:29] Chapter 1 verse 22. Seeing you have purified your souls. In obeying the truth. Through the spirit. Unto. Unfair love. For. The brethren. See that you love one another.
[18:40] So. Every genuine conversion. Is. Saints 7. The last one. Oh. Okay. Similar. 19. Is. Every genuine conversion. Is. Brethren loving. Brethren loving.
[18:53] Let's all say. Brethren loving. Brethren loving. And that was. Brothers and sisters. You love brothers and sisters. Of. In church. So. Let's do good to all men. Especially. Those who are of the household of God.
[19:03] Alright. So. Revival. Is when there is. Widespread. Okay. Revival is when there is a widespread move of God. In a place. Which. Invariably. Results.
[19:14] In a high rate. Of. Genuine conversion. High rate. Do you see how. Revival builds churches. Because it's not. Revival is not for church growth. But revival.
[19:25] Automatically brings church growth. Because when people are highly converted. They are disciples. They love the church. They love fellowship. They serve God. The church is built by Christians. The building elements of church.
[19:38] Is Christians. It's not just people. So pastor. Don't just be busy gathering people. Get people converted. Every genuine revival. Produces. Two major things that revival do.
[19:49] When you have encounters with God. When God appeared to Abraham. In Genesis chapter 18. God told Abraham. Two things. Anytime God meets you. There are two things. That he will always talk to you about. Number one.
[20:00] The son. So God told him. I'm going to give you a son. God. That son. Is reflective of Jesus. So God will always bring you closer to the son. He says in Galatians chapter 1.
[20:11] Verse 15 and 16. That when he pleased the Lord. My God. Who separated me. Separated me from my mother's womb. To reveal his son in me. He's always interested.
[20:21] In revealing his son. To us. And in us. So. Every revival. Two invariable things. That will always. Be characteristic of genuine revival.
[20:32] Number one. The love for Christ grows. People love Christ more. Number two. People hate sin more. He spoke about their son. And he spoke about Sodom and Gomorrah. Because of their sins.
[20:43] He said. I'm coming to deal with sins. So when you have encounters with God. He draws you closer to Christ. And he deals with sin in your life. Now. Having said that.
[20:53] Let me just say. Briefly. The triggers of revival. So now I'm talking about revival. What it is. The triggers of revival. I've got.
[21:04] Seven. Seven things. That trigger. Revival. What do I mean? These things. When we do them. When these things are done.
[21:16] Revival will be automatic. So just in case. Somebody. Or a group of people are saying. We want revival. We want revival. Let me show you the things.
[21:27] That trigger revival. If you are looking for revival. These things. Must be a must. Number one. Love and hunger for Jesus. Who produced revivalism. Love.
[21:38] Because the love of Christ. Is shared abroad. In our hearts. By the Romans 5. By the Holy Ghost. First Peter chapter 1 verse 8. Whom having not seen.
[21:49] Ye laugh. Hallelujah. Whom having not seen. Ye laugh. Believing. Whom having not seen. Ye laugh. In whom.
[22:00] Though now you see him not. Yet believing. Ye rejoice. With joy. Unspeakable. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Ye laugh. Ye laugh. First Corinthians 16.22.
[22:15] He says. Anyone who does not love the Lord Jesus. That's what sends you to hell. It's not just your external works. But your internal depravity.
[22:26] Your internal corruption. Man became internally corrupt. He doesn't have what it takes to love Christ. That's why when he came. They killed him. They killed him.
[22:38] They killed him. It takes a love for Jesus. Now. You want to trigger revival. Got that people. Who are hungry. And genuinely love Jesus. When they love Jesus.
[22:50] They don't see risk. They don't see risk. When you love Jesus. Anything that is meant for your destiny. Will show up. So.
[23:03] Number one trigger for revival. Is love for Jesus. Church. Church. I love Jesus. I love Jesus.
[23:16] That's why I do so much. It looks like I don't get tired. No. Love never gets tired. Love never gets tired. That is one of the things.
[23:27] That is triggering revival. When you love Jesus. It shows in the things you pursue. And how you would handle his work.
[23:37] And his word. His word. Revival. Triggers of revival. Is love and thirst for Jesus. Number two. This is a good one. Preaching the glorious gospel of Christ.
[23:51] There can never be revival without preaching of the gospel. Preaching. Preaching the glorious gospel. When I say glorious gospel. Bible calls it glorious. First Timothy 1.11.
[24:01] Let's all read it from the screen. Let's go. Wow. He calls it the glorious gospel.
[24:13] Our blessed God. Our blessed God. The glorious. The gospel is so glorious. Second Corinthians chapter 4 verse 4. It says that. The God of this world.
[24:24] Have blinded the minds of unbelievers. Less. The light of the. Glorious. So the gospel is glorious. Glorious. Glorious. Glorious. You remember in my opening comments.
[24:35] I said that. There is hostility towards the gospel. Not towards Christianity. But the gospel. So. In what ways the gospel triggers revival? The more we preach the gospel.
[24:46] The more people will be changed. So if we want to see revival. Let's set people's tails on fire. And set them loose. Let them preach in their schools.
[24:57] Let them preach on their buses. Let them preach on their trains. Let them preach in their tubes. Let them preach in their classrooms. Let them preach in their families. Let them preach at the cinema.
[25:08] Until the gospel is preached. We will see revival. Wherever we are. Those who scattered. They preach. None they which scattered abroad upon. The persecution that arose. Stephen traveled as far as Phoenix.
[25:19] And Cyprus. And Antioch. Preaching the word. To none but the Jews. Look at verse 21. Verse 21 says that. And the hand of the Lord was upon them. And a great multitude believed.
[25:31] A number of people believed. And turned to the Lord. Because they were preaching. Wherever they went. They preached. Acts chapter 8. Bible said there was a great. Verse 1 and 2. When Stephen died.
[25:42] They were being persecuted. And they all scattered. Acts chapter 8 verse 1. They scattered. They scattered. And at that time. There was a great persecution. Against the church.
[25:53] Which was at Jerusalem. And they were all scattered abroad. Throughout the region of Judea. Samaria. Except the apostle. Verse 2. Verse 2 says that. And devout men were barrens. Verse 3. As for Saul.
[26:04] He continued misbehaving. Verse 4. Therefore. They that were scattered abroad. Went everywhere. Preaching. Watch this. There's a very powerful revelation in this.
[26:15] They didn't go to go and preach. They just went. Because they had to. For safety. But preaching was so much part of them. Wherever they got to. They will preach.
[26:26] One of the things that must characterize. Carice members. Revival seeking church members. Is that wherever we are. We preach. In our universities.
[26:36] We preach. In our colleges. We. In our schools. We. We. We. In our offices. We. In our shops. We. On the streets.
[26:47] We. In our neighborhood. We. In our homes. We. In our relationships. We. In our friendships. We. In our church. We. What do we preach?
[26:59] We preach the glorious gospel of the blessed God. Wow. Glorious gospel. Glorious gospel. If we don't preach the gospel, we will not see revival.
[27:10] Revival. So. I am talking about. Preaching not only from the pulpit. No. That is not what brings revival. Preaching on the streets. People are preaching.
[27:21] Nothing but actually. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Major trigger of revival. Preaching. How many of us want to be triggers of revival? What can you do to trigger revival?
[27:35] Preach. He said in 2 Timothy chapter 4 verse. To preach the word. Whether they like it or not. Whether they listen to you. Whether they embrace it.
[27:46] Don't worry about that. Leave that. Your job is to do what? Preach. Preach. Number 3. Passionate prayer. Revival never happens without people praying.
[27:57] Praying. You have to be. There must be prayer. And the prayer must be passionate. Passionate prayer. Passionate prayer. Listen. Not for goods. Not for prosperity.
[28:08] Not for breakthroughs. They are. Those things are not bad prayers. They are actually very good to pray for. Blessings. Prosperity. But the things that trigger revival. Is prayers for the presence of God.
[28:22] We are calling God. Oh Lord. We need you now come. Come upon us. Look. That's what happened in Acts chapter 2 verse 1. They were all together praying. What were they praying for? For the presence of God.
[28:34] And suddenly. Suddenly. Suddenly. There came a sound from heaven. Yes. And the whole of Jerusalem saw revival.
[28:45] Why? Because some people gathered. And were praying. Listen. There cannot be revival without constant praying. Hallelujah. So. Regular praying.
[28:56] The point number four. Is. Regular gatherings. When people are complaining. You are going to church too much.
[29:07] Yeah. Without regular gathering. You will see revival. Meetings. Meetings. Praying. Meetings. Meetings. When. If there is going to be revival. There must be a lot of gatherings.
[29:21] Gatherings. Gatherings. Gatherings. Gatherings. Gatherings. A lot of meetings. If the gospel is at the center. It will spread. The early church.
[29:32] That's how it did. In Acts chapter 19. Verse 9. Bible says that. Paul. Through the disciples. Man. Man. and when divers were hardened and believed not but spoke evil of the way before the multitude he departed from them and separated the disciples disputing daily in the school of tyrannos one tyrannos and this continues for the space of two years and this continue for it every day disputing daily for two years see the impact revival so that all which dwelt in asia had the word of the lord both use and look at the next verse and miracles god wrote miracles special miracles by the hand of paul then the verse 19 says the word of god mightily grew and prevailed it was as a result of this regular meetings that's the cost of revival if you are looking for revival you have a lot of meetings i'm just telling you remember that so that means not everybody will be part of a booth of revival they'll be around the peripherals that's fine god is not upset with you but certain people who are looking for revival you will be doing a lot praying praying meeting meeting it does something for strengthening the saints for revival every time there's going to revival you check check history you will see some people have been always gathering gathering praying and prayer is most of the time high on the agenda gathering praying praying and when there's a lot of gathering like that some people feel uncomfortable they withdraw you should understand them because this is too much but when you are called for revival brace yourself for a lot of meetings i see revival coming point number five consecration and separation if you want to see revival people must begin to separate themselves from the world consecrate themselves we don't behave like the world we don't dress like the world we don't eat like the world does we don't drink the things that they might be enjoying and indulging in the world we don't drink the things that they're not going to be enjoying and that they're not going to be that we are not like them our language must show our pastures we must be consecrated separated onto you know this casual approach to sinning spoils a move of god any church where there's a lot of fornication inside they will never see the move of god no those two those two things are not compatible compatible a lot of sinning bitterness arguments and you see a move of god it doesn't happen people must be consecrated separated and then you must also see there's a difference between us our pursuit our focus and the world there's a difference so things that trigger revival is when people are genuinely separated unto god separated unto god tell somebody be separated unto god in first peter chapter 1 verse 15 he said be holy as i'm holy number six these points are so nice you know number six is love and compassion for the lost love you actually love the lost anytime you are looking for revival in uk and the people in uk are very you find them very annoying god cannot use you god cannot use you to reach out to people you are annoying with god cannot use you to change the lives of people you can't stand matthew chapter 9 verse 36 jesus saw them and her compassion on them oh yes so the multitude when he saw the multitude he was moved with compassion on them because they were like a sheep without shepherd in matthew chapter 14 verse 14 jesus had
[33:39] compassion on them in matthew chapter 15 verse 32 jesus had compassion on them in mark chapter 8 verse 2 jesus had compassion compassion compassion compassion for the lost compassion for the people who don't know christ it's one of the things that trigger revival you're always thinking this unbeliever he has to die go to hell he has to die god cannot use you for revival yes they can be very annoying and their behavior can be distasteful but there's a compassion in your heart for them and it makes you love them for their salvation is somebody learning something and then finally finally then number seven manifestation of the supernatural act chapter 8 verse 6 and 7 that's already out for let's go hearing and seeing the miracles which he did when there are miracles bible talks in john chapter 11 that a lot of people a lot more people chapter 12 actually started believing because of lazarus lazarus came on and more people started believing because of the miracles the supernatural has a way of creating a widespread awareness of the move of god that's why we share testimonies in this church that's why we advertise what god does people see and then we we pray for the move of god the hand of god bible says they went and they preached acts chapter 11 verse 21 and the hand of god was upon them in mark chapter 16 verse 20 he said they went everywhere preaching god working with them with signs and wonders accompanied acts chapter 2 verse 22 jesus of nazareth a man attested by god through signs wonders and miracle which god did through him acts chapter 10 verse 37 38 god anointed jesus christ with the holy ghost and with power who went about doing good so the supernatural is also a major trigger of revival so with these seven points don't forget if we want to see revival we have to allow ourselves to be intentionally pursuing these things and i see the hand of god giving you a testimony if you believe in shout to the living amen thank you for listening to this message by david entry we pray you have been revived towards god you can connect with david entry on all relevant social media platforms including instagram and link to you can also hear more messages from david entry on all relevant streaming platforms and the parish church app don't forget to like and share the message around for you for listening to this message for you for listening to this message for you
