[0:13] May Jesus Christ reveal Himself to you as you listen. I want to share something shortly and I want to preach from John chapter 1.
[0:24] John chapter 1 verse 1. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God.
[0:35] The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life and the life was the light of men. The light shines in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man, his name was John. The same came for a witness, as the witness of the light that all men through Him might believe. He was not the light, but was sent to bear witness of that light. That light, that was the light that which lightened every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came to His own and His own received it not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name, which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the world became flesh and dwelt amongst us. And we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Here is the reading of God's holy word. Hallelujah!
[2:15] In the beginning was the word. How many of us have ever felt far from God? Anybody who has never felt far from God is one of the biggest liars and looks very much like the devil.
[2:34] The devil is a liar. The devil is a liar. Chapter 8, verse 44. The devil is a liar. He was a murderer from the beginning. He is a liar.
[2:49] And when he lies, when he was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him, when he speaks a lie, he speaketh of his own. For he is a liar and the father of it.
[3:09] So anyone who lies automatically brings himself under the control of the devil. That is why what caused first killing and judgment in the church was lies.
[3:27] Peter said to Ananias, Acts chapter 5, verse 3. Why has Satan filled... Is he Satan? Peter said to Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart? Because the way you are lying, Satan must be the father of it.
[3:41] Not that does a man or a human being look more like the devil like when he lies. If anyone says you have never felt far from God, you are a liar and under the influence of not alcohol, not substances, but the devil himself.
[4:08] Why are you saying that? The Bible says in Romans chapter 3, verse 10. As it's written, there is none righteous, not even one person.
[4:21] He said, there is none righteous. What's that? That nobody's righteous? That's exactly what he said.
[4:33] None means none. There is none righteous. You think you are good? You are not good enough. When you are compared to the righteousness of God, you are filthy rags.
[4:50] You are like, excuse me by language, a used menstrual cloth. Yeah, that's what the original Greek... The original Greek is used menstrual cloth.
[5:01] All of us have issues. Human issues. So God can't wait for you to be okay before he comes to you.
[5:13] And you can't get to God. You are too far. That's the point. He said, there is none righteous. No! Not...
[5:24] This is a serious one. Not even one. He said... Does it make sense when Jesus said, he who is without sin, let him be the first. I just need one. They brought this woman, caught in adultery to Jesus.
[5:36] This guy, this lady is a bad person. She's done this. He's done this. The law, the law. They quoted the law. Such a person, we should store him. Jesus said, well, no problem. I won't stop you. I won't stop you from obeying the law.
[5:47] But I just want to put in a request. Let the one... I want only one person amongst all of you who have never sinned. So Jesus said that, he who is without sin amongst you, let him throw the stone at her first.
[6:05] Then the reds can follow. But I just want one. One. Somebody say one. One. One person. Who is righteous enough?
[6:19] Who is sinless enough? Who is clean enough? Who has a clean bill of health when it comes to God? One person to start the process. He waited, waited.
[6:31] The woman said, oh, I'm dead. He's about to stone me. No one. And the Bible said, after Jesus said that, he bowed his head. And from the top to the least, they dropped their stone.
[6:43] One after the other, they started going. Oh, so you've got sin. Okay, I'm going. Everybody went. Then Jesus asked the woman, lady, where are your accusers? She said, they have gone.
[6:56] She said, was there no one to accuse? She said, no one. She said, if no human being can accuse you, then me too. I don't accuse you. But go and sin. There's none righteous.
[7:09] Verse 11. Romans chapter 3. Verse 11. That's getting serious. Look at verse 11. There is none who understands. That's another one. There is none who seeks.
[7:22] Don't say, ask for me, I'm looking for God. You'll never look for God if we leave you alone. That's why church Christians must do outreach. People don't look for God by themselves.
[7:33] They look for solutions. They look for fun. They look for friends. They look for things that they think is good. They pursue their interests. Nobody naturally looks for God. Not even one.
[7:44] He says that there is none who understands. There is none. None. There is none. None. There is none. None. Who seeks after God. So everybody is busy doing his own thing.
[7:55] Everybody is busy seeking their own thing. Seeking their money. Seeking their job. Seeking their career. Seeking to prepare to buy a house. Seeking to prepare to have children. Seeking to get a girlfriend. Seeking to get a boyfriend.
[8:07] Seeking to plan for Valentine's Day coming. Seeking to lose weight. Seeking to get weight. Seeking different things. Seeking different. Some people come to church because they just want a place where they belong.
[8:21] Naturally don't see God. None. Don't come and boast to me. Boast to me. Ask how my dad has always been in church. We are not talking about your dad. Excuse me. I was born into the church.
[8:31] The church is not a hospital for a labor ward. So you can't be born into church. You have to be born again. Before you can enter the church.
[8:43] First birth doesn't do anyone good. When it comes to your salvation. He said none. Seek after God. But he says something none understands.
[8:55] Psalm 14 verse 2. Verse 1 says it is so foolish to say there is no God. As I said earlier on. You look very much like the devil.
[9:08] There is no time you look much like the devil. Like when you lie. When you lie. You are looking so much like the devil. There is never a time a person looks so much foolish. Like saying I don't believe there is God.
[9:22] It is so absurd. Bizarre. And classic stupidity. To say there is no God. Because you have to suspend your brains. From thinking logically.
[9:34] In order to come to such a conclusion. Where did your father come from? Where did his father come from? Where did his mother come from? Where did her father come from?
[9:45] Where did everything come from? Boom. Boom. And everybody. Come on. Is that not so bizarre? I'm sad. There is nothing as preposterous. And bizarre. And pediatric. And particularly crazy.
[9:59] As saying there was a big bang. And suddenly this building appeared. Look at the way the bricks are laid. Look at even the design at the top there. How can such design come out of chaos?
[10:14] It is one of the most bizarre, absurd, mad things. So Bible says. The fool has said in his heart. There is no God. There is no God. The fool has said in his heart.
[10:25] Atheism is not. You think it is fashionable. It is foolishable. The fool. The fool. It is very. The classic fool.
[10:37] Is not a comedian. The classic fool. Is not the one. Who is behaving stupidly. The classic fool. Is someone. Who has had discourse. In his heart. And has come to a conclusion. In his heart.
[10:47] That there is no God. Because you have. You have to suspend. Your thinking faculties. To come to such a conclusion. The fool has said in his heart. There is no God. I know there is someone I am talking to.
[10:59] You have been saying. I don't believe there is God. That is how stupid you have been. Oh. Are you insulting? No. I am not insulting. I am telling you what the Bible is saying. If I tell you.
[11:09] If you don't bath for three days. You will stink. Is that an insult? That is true. In what way am I insulting you? In what way am I insulting you?
[11:20] In what way? If I tell you. That if you hold electricity. Life cables. You will die. Are you casting me? No. I am just warning you. I am telling you the reality of what is happening.
[11:32] So. He said. A fool has said in his heart. There is no God. They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none who does good.
[11:44] Verse 2. The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men. To see if there are any who understand. Who see God. You don't understand a lot of things.
[11:55] When it comes to spiritual things. Oh. This Christmas. Jesus died for my sins. I know. It doesn't make sense. Yes. I know. You just. Let's admit that. Because. There's. There's a lot of mathematical equations.
[12:06] Which. It doesn't make sense to you. There are a lot. There's. There's a lot of. Most of us don't have the clue. Squat. What algebra is. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Talk about soccer.
[12:17] You don't know. Because of the topic. You don't know squat about quadratic equations.
[12:27] You don't know. What's Newton's. Newton's first law of motion. You don't know. You don't know. The law of inertia.
[12:39] What's that? Is it another type of Chinese? There's a lot you don't know. Because. It's that. None understands. There's. There's so much. We don't understand.
[12:49] When. Especially. When it comes to spiritual things. That is why Jesus has to use. Physical things. To explain spiritual things. Because we are not spiritual beings. We live in the physical.
[13:00] Our understanding. And our world view. Is limited. By the physical world. That's why. You will never know. What it means.
[13:12] To be chased. By a snake. When you live in UK. True. Yeah. Yes. There are things.
[13:26] That are. The realities of others. Which you will never think. Can exist. Psalm 53. Verse 3. None understands. None understands.
[13:38] Every one of them. Has turned aside. They have. Oh. They have together. Become corrupt. There is none who. Does good. No. Not one. No.
[13:48] Not one. From. Look at verse 1. 53 verse 1. Psalm 53 verse 1. Oh. The fool has appeared again. There's no God. 17 and 14.
[14:01] Pastor, what is Christmas about this? Hold on, we are getting there. I'm just trying to underscore the point, listen to this point very carefully.
[14:14] I started by asking a question, how many of you have ever felt far from God? The Bible says that, look at Romans again, let's look at Romans again because there's something there. Romans 3, 11.
[14:25] Romans 3, 11. There's none who understands. There is none who seeks after God. Verse 12. Ah, they have all turned aside.
[14:39] And they have together become unprofitable. There is none who does good. No, not one. Turn aside means you've missed the mark.
[14:50] You've gone astray. We have all gone astray from God. And so, our attempt to seek God is even off.
[15:03] Which God are you talking about? We have to get him defined before you start looking for him. But we don't even know who he is. Let alone to know where he is. When you find him, would you know he's the one?
[15:16] We don't know. We have all gone astray. Everybody is far. How can we get to God? And yet, we need God. I have a ladder in my house. I always try and keep a ladder around.
[15:31] Just in case I need to fix a bomb. Just in case I need to get something. Because I can't reach up there. I'm too far. And my height, I'm short.
[15:42] So, it makes the place too far from me. We have four. Romans chapter 3, verse 23. For all have seen short. You are too short to reach out to God.
[15:53] I know he's coming home gradually. We are too short to reach out to God. How can we go to him?
[16:06] He said in Romans chapter 10, pastor. He said, what sayeth it? The word is nigh you. In your mouth. Do not say, who are sent?
[16:17] Ah, ah. He said, verse 7 and verse 8. But what sayeth it? Let's say, who, go to verse 6. Let's start from verse 6. But what sayeth it? The word is, by the righteousness of God, say not in thy heart, who shall ascend to heaven?
[16:38] That is, to bring Christ down from above. Christ is the one we need. The text I read, he said, in the beginning was there logos.
[16:52] Let's all say logos. Logos. Logos. Hey, I didn't say logos. There's a difference between logos and logos. Okay? Logos. Almost like logo.
[17:04] Okay? But this word is logos with an S. Logos. That's the Greek word translated the word. It doesn't only mean the word.
[17:15] It means the word. It means the reason. It means the brain. The understanding. No one understands the understanding behind a thing. The actual, what gives meaning to whatever is happening.
[17:34] The Bible says, in the beginning was the word. And the word was with God. And the word was God. And this word we are talking about is Jesus.
[17:46] Jesus. But how can we get to Jesus? We can't get there ourselves. One. Why? One. Because none understands.
[17:57] Two. None seeks after God. Three. All have gone astray. And four. All have sinned and become short of the glory of God. So how can we reach out to him?
[18:09] So the Bible says that. Do not say. Oh. Romans 10. 6. Do not say not. In your heart. Who will have said? Because I can go.
[18:21] Can you go? You don't have a ladder. Can you go? You don't have a ladder. Ah. Somebody's balloon. Containing. $200.
[18:36] Has just flown up there. We need it. Who will go up there to bring it? That's the problem. You are too short. And you are too incapable to go out there.
[18:48] I can go. Can you? Can you? Can you? And yet we need someone to bring solution to this situation. So. In the beginning was the word. The word was God.
[19:00] The word was with God. Do not say. Who will ascend to go and bring down? What does it say? The word is near you. The logos is near you.
[19:11] The solution is near you. When did it come? That's what we are. That's what Christmas is about. And the word. Verse 14. John 1.
[19:21] 14. Let's all read it out loud. Let's go. Let's read it out loud. Let's read it out loud. Let's read it out loud. Let's go. And the word is near you. And the word is near you. Glory to the Lord. As on the glory of the Lord.
[19:32] The glory of the Lord. The glory of the Lord. Full of grace. And truth. Let's read the first line together. Let's go. And the word is near you. Let's read it to flesh.

[20:04] It dwelt amongst us. Now what we are saying. Who can go up to go and bring it? You are too far from God. So God decided to reach out to you. Thank you God.
[20:17] None of us can look for him. He came looking for us. Luke chapter 19 verse 10. For the son of man came to seek.
[20:28] Do you see that? So none seek after God. So God came to seek after us. That's why he came. He could have enjoyed his majesty.
[20:42] He could have. It's better to be in heaven than to be on earth. How many of you agree with me? When you are traveling.
[20:53] From here to Holland. Plane is better than car. Car is better than bicycle. And bicycle is better than leg edibes.
[21:10] When you fly. You have less restriction. When you fly. There's less restriction. So there's no traffic. For you to stop behind somebody.
[21:22] Are you ever heard of two birds colliding there? Two birds don't collide in there. It is only crowded down.
[21:34] Up there is light. So if I'm up. I will prefer to stay up. But he left staying up. And came down. To look for you and I. The day he arrived.
[21:48] We have been far from God. But he came to us. Tell somebody. God is looking for you. That's what Christmas is about. Another expression for Christmas is.
[22:01] God came for you. God came. He said. He said. And the word became flesh. And. Dwelled. Amongst us. And when he dwelt amongst us.
[22:13] We beheld. His glory. I don't know what God is showing you. And you are refusing to look at. Because when God comes. There will always be signs. That God has come.
[22:24] There will always be signs. You'll be wondering. This. The way this pastor is talking. How did he know this. This conversation. I was having yesterday. He doesn't have a clue. Because. None understands.
[22:36] Even me. I don't understand. But God has a way. Of taking the flesh. And speaking to you. Because for a long time. He has known. And he has decided. He's going to reach out to you.
[22:46] So that when you go to hell. You won't blame him. Because. Anytime people go to hell. Do you know what? Every time in hell. There will be. Pictures. Of when you were preached to.
[22:58] Everybody. In hell. We will be holding your video. Of when they preached to me. When God reached out to me. And I abandoned God. When God. The Christmas. Christmas day. Is not 25th December.
[23:09] Christmas day. Is the day God came to you. The day God came to you. And God. People go to hell.
[23:21] Based on what they do. With this Christmas day. I've just described. People don't go to hell. Listen to me brothers. And sisters. Please. Nobody.
[23:33] Goes to hell. Because of what. You did. You have stolen. You have lied. You have fornicated. That. Doesn't take.
[23:43] People to hell. Why doesn't that. Take people to hell. Because. All. Have sinned. Then all. Must go to hell. There's none. I just read it.
[23:54] There's none. There's none. Righteous. Guys. Guys. You are not good enough. For God to accept you. And there will never be a day. You are good enough. I'm not good enough.
[24:06] For God to accept me. So why has he accepted me? Because. I embraced Christmas. I embraced the day. He came to me. And he said. I want to be in your life.
[24:17] The day he reached out to me. I embraced it. Since that time. He did not. God. Mm. Mm. Okay. Okay. Okay. Let me just read it. John 3.
[24:29] 16. For God. So. Loved the world. That. He gave. His own. If God loves me. Why am I going through all this? What have you done with the son he gave?
[24:42] Wow. What have you done with the son he gave? The greatest expression. Of manifestation. Demonstration. Of God's love. Is by giving us. Jesus. Permit me to use this word.
[24:53] In a lighter sense. By giving us Christmas. Christmas. Christmas. Christmas. Do you understand? Not in the sense of. These celebrations. And. Christmas. No. Please. That's not. I'm talking about.
[25:04] When God. Reach out to us. Emmanuel. God with us. The. The word became flesh. The greatest demonstration. Of the love of God. Is.
[25:14] The Christ. He has given us. It's a joy to the world. The Lord has come. Let us. Receive. The king. In Luke. Chapter 2. Verse 14.
[25:24] The angels. Came. Verse 13. Says. Suddenly. There was a host of angels. Who. Who joined. The angel. Who came to announce. To the shepherds. And they sang. In verse 14. See what they said.
[25:35] In verse 14. Glory to God. In the highest. And on earth. Peace. Goodwill. To. Towards men. Goodwill. Not judgment. No curses. Goodwill.
[25:45] Christmas is goodwill. I don't care what you have done. Goodwill of God. Towards you. Never say. Oh. This church. This too. I'm too far. I'm too far. To do this church. We were all far.
[25:58] And by nature. Everybody is far. Do you know how far you are from the sun? Do you know how far you are from the next galaxy? Very.
[26:08] Very. Very far. Let alone. Heaven. Far. All of us were far. You can't go to heaven. No scientists have been able to discover heaven.
[26:21] The farthest they've gone is one of these planets, Mars, or something closer. They haven't been able to go further because it's too far for human beings to go.
[26:34] We are actually far from God. So God said, you don't have to come. I'm coming. I'm coming. On Christmas Day, do you know when God says they're coming?
[26:47] He started coming over 3,000 years. Over 3,000 years, God decided I'm going to come. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, when they sinned, God said, okay, I'm going down myself.
[27:03] And so he started preparing. He started preparing. Galatians 4, 4, when fullness of time was come. When the time was right. Hallelujah. When fullness of time was come, God sent forth his son.
[27:15] He came at the right time. It took him over 3,000 years planning to come and rescue us. That's far. That's far. And when he came, that's what we celebrate as Christmas.
[27:29] And the word became flesh. He said, joy to the world. The Lord has come. Glory to God in the highest and on earth.
[27:40] Glory to God in the highest and on earth. Peace, good will towards men. Good will. Say good will. Good will. John 3, 16 says, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.
[27:56] Don't go and be sleeping. I don't think God loves me. I'm not impressed by the way you are thinking.
[28:06] Because out of his love, he has done something about your situation. But you choose that. You are smarter than God. The solution he has given you is not good enough. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.
[28:22] That whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Now look at the next verse. For God did not send his son to condemn the world.
[28:34] He knew you were stealing. But God did not send his son into the world to condemn. For God did not send his son into the world.
[28:44] He was sent into the world. We couldn't go to heaven. So he came from heaven into the world. God sent him into the world. God sent him. We are too far from God.
[28:56] Watch this. Watch this. We were too far from God. God said don't worry. I'm coming myself. I'm coming myself. I'm coming. I have good news for someone who feels far away. Far from God.
[29:06] God has come. God has come. You feel far from God? We all have always been far from God. But God has come. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world.
[29:22] That's not why he came. He knew you were stealing but he didn't come to condemn you. There's a day of condemnation coming. If you refuse this offer, condemnation day has been appointed for that time.
[29:34] For it's appointed unto man. Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27. It's appointed unto man once to die and after death judgment. There's a day coming.
[29:45] In Acts chapter 17 verse 30 and verse 31. He said, I like it. Acts chapter 17 verse 30 and verse 31. He said, truly, truly, these types of ignorance, God overlooks.
[29:59] But now commands all men everywhere to repent. Look at verse 31. Interesting. Because he has appointed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained.
[30:12] He has given assurance of this to all by raising him from the dead. There's a day when he's going to judge the world. But now, not the world. It says, watch this. He has appointed a day in which he will judge.
[30:25] He will judge. He will judge. He will judge. In John chapter 3 verse 17. God did not send his son into the world.
[30:38] The world to condemn it. There's a time for judgment. But before then, he said, let me go and save people. So, the angel told Mary, you are going to have a son.
[30:49] And he shall call his name Jesus. Matthew chapter 1 verse 21. For he shall save. Oh, oh. He will save his people from their sins. First of all, the reason why he came is not to come and tell you how sinful you are.
[31:02] The reason why he came is to come and tell you and I that there's hope for your future. There's hope for your future. That's what Christmas is about. But God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world.
[31:18] But look at that. There's the next statement there. But that the world, say the world. Say the world. Say the world. He did not send his son into the world to condemn the world.
[31:31] But that the world through him may be saved. Brother, you need to be saved. Sister, you need to be saved. You are in trouble. You are in deep trouble.
[31:47] You need to be saved. God, the trajectory of your life is disturbing. You know your life is now spiraling out of control.
[31:58] You know you are heading towards destruction. But it's not too late. Thank God every year has got Christmas. The truth is people die every year.
[32:17] The truth is people fall sick every year. The truth is people are diagnosed of cancer every year. The truth is people are robbed and scammed every year.
[32:29] The truth is people get married and divorced every year. The truth is people fail exam every year. The truth is houses are built every year.
[32:40] The truth is people's houses are repossessed every year. The truth is people are evicted from their homes every year. The truth is somebody loses a job every year.
[32:51] The truth is somebody gets into prison every year. The truth is somebody starts getting into trouble every year. The day everything messed up, you can remember.
[33:03] It was a day in a certain year. COVID year, 2020, was when you lost everything. 2022, when you got to third year university, that's when you were introduced to this drug, and now your life is struggling.
[33:18] Your life is struggling. Every year, in the same way, this year's Christmas. This year's Christmas is your, it might not be everybody's Christmas, but I believe there's somebody here, but I believe there's somebody here.
[33:35] It's your Christmas. Shout hallelujah. This year is somebody's Christmas. Smart man, smart lady, why don't you make it the year when everything changed?
[33:54] For God so loved the world that he gave. God didn't have to wait for you to grow tall to get to him, because you will never be able to get to him.
[34:05] He said, I'm coming down myself. You know, there's a man who came to Jesus in Matthew chapter 8, and he said, my servant lies at home sick.
[34:16] And Jesus said, I am coming. I'm coming home. Verse 8, the man said, no, no, no, no. I'm not worthy that that should come to my house. I'm not worthy that you should come.
[34:27] Jesus said, I want to come to you. He said, no, I'm not worthy that you should come. In Mark chapter 5, a man called Jairus, he met Jesus in town, and he fell down, and he said, please, my daughter lies at the point of death.
[34:40] Come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live. And Jesus, look at the next verse, verse 24. So Jesus went with him. He's always interested in coming to where you are.
[34:53] You don't need to be close enough. Even when you are far, Romans chapter 5, verse 8, God demonstrated his love towards us this way, that whilst we have not yet stopped sinning, Christ died for us.
[35:14] The Christmas is, and the word came down to become flesh. God Almighty, in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
[35:31] God? And verse 40, and the word became what he never was. In Philippians chapter 2, verse 6, talking about Jesus Christ, who did not count equality with God something to hold on to.
[35:47] He emptied himself, it's called a kinesis. He emptied himself, verse 7. He made himself of no reputation. Some translations say, he emptied himself of all his glory, so he can come down.
[35:58] He made himself of, he emptied, God, I'm preaching now. He emptied himself. He, he had so much glory. Glory.
[36:09] But because of us, he put aside his glory. He laid aside his majesty. He laid aside. He laid it aside.
[36:21] He said, I'm going to come down. I'm going to come down. He said, I can't come down as, as in my majesty. I can't come. Human beings will see me and run away. And the earth cannot even contain me.
[36:32] I'm too glorious. So I'm going to condense and restrict myself. And put myself into the womb of a woman. I'm going to become a fetus. Why would you have to go through all this? Have you ever gone into somebody's booth before?
[36:45] When you are in the booth, it's very tight. Even booth is tight. The booth of a car is tight. How much more the womb of a woman? It wasn't like he has never existed.
[36:58] He already existed. Now he has to reduce himself, empty himself. Jesus Christ was coming by. The earth is too light to carry his weight.
[37:11] So he had to, Kinesis, he has to empty himself. He has to empty himself. He has to empty himself. He has to empty himself. He has to empty himself. He has to empty himself. Look, look at, look at this.
[37:22] Look at, look at this. He said, taking, he emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, a born servant, and being in the likeness of men. He shouldn't have, he doesn't have to be like men.
[37:32] But God, God, he came down. He emptied himself, and became like men. Look at that.
[37:42] It didn't even end there. He went further. Verse 8, he went further, and being found in appearance as a man. He even went further, humbled himself, and became obedient to the point of death.
[37:53] Even if you die, please, not the cross. The cross, they crucify you in public, and naked, and everybody is laughing at you. It's the worst way to die. But I said, I don't mind if it means that guy who is far from me, if I can reach out to you.
[38:07] I can reach out to you. Shout hallelujah! Shout hallelujah! Shout hallelujah! If it means reaching out to you who are far, so he can bring you near.
[38:24] And he says, and Rick came to be preached to us, who were once far off. Ecclesiastes chapter 2.
[38:36] Verse 13, But now in Christ, you who were once far off, have been brought. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
[38:46] Thank you, Jesus. Let me end by telling you this. Some of you think, those of us standing here, are so close, we are born close. No. Some of us, potentially, were farther than you.
[39:00] But we were smart enough to make good use of the Christmas story. So who am I to look at you because today I'm preaching to tell you you are worth nothing.
[39:15] God can't save you. Excuse me. I don't qualify. I don't have the qualification to determine who can be saved. It is the prerogative of God to save.
[39:28] And it is the wisdom of man to embrace the salvation. My job is to make the Christian story your story. The Christmas story your story.
