[0:00] Thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry. Every true revival is a product of the strong preaching of God's word.! May you receive a word from this message that will spark a revival in you.

[0:12] Acts chapter 13, I'll be reading from verse 38 through 52.

[0:23] Be it known unto you, therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins, and by him all that believe are justified from all things from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

[0:44] Beware! Therefore, lest that come upon you which is spoken of in the prophets. Behold, you despise us, and wander, and perish, for I will work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

[1:06] And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

[1:17] Now, when the congregation was broken, many of the Jews and the religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

[1:32] And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy and spake against those things which was spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

[1:53] Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you. But seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

[2:12] For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

[2:24] And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord, and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

[2:37] But the Jews stirred up the devout and honorable women and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of the coast.

[2:49] But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came to Iconium. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Ghost.

[3:01] Here ends the reading of God's word. Amen. Please let's pray. Father, thank you so much. We pray that as we get into your word, let the heavens open upon our lives.

[3:12] Heal the sick. Convict the sinning. Strengthen the weak to overcome sin. And to walk by faith.

[3:23] As your word is taught, Lord, let Christ be revealed. Let Christ be seen. Amen. And let amazing discoveries be made in your infallible words.

[3:36] I submit myself under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, let my speaking be your speaking. Influence the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart, that it will be acceptable to you, that your people will definitely have an encounter, and the body of Christ will never be the same again after this word.

[3:57] We thank you. In Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. Please be seated. In my last teaching, I spoke about how the word of God was preached to them in the synagogue.

[4:11] And verse 38 says that, Be it known to you, men and brethren, that through this man, talking about Jesus Christ, is preached unto you forgiveness of sins. Forgiveness of sins.

[4:22] So, forgiveness of sins is now available to humanity through Jesus. So, they said, through this man, forgiveness of sins is preached.

[4:33] So, the word of God they were preaching was actually an expression of the offer of forgiveness of sins in Christ.

[4:44] And then he says that, they continue to in verse 38, he says that, By Jesus, when you give us the new King James, the hymn will change to a capital.

[4:56] By him, everyone who believes is justified. So, last Sunday we heard about justification. I told Pastor Shua, let's speak about justification.

[5:08] Because, if you don't understand justification, you don't know what Christianity is about. Christianity is, the foundation of Christianity is justification. The right standing before God.

[5:21] How can a sinner stand before God and accept it? Justification is how the righteous God righteouses the unrighteous and still becomes righteous.

[5:40] Does that make sense?

[5:54] Does that make sense? Yes. The unrighteous. If you say the unrighteous is righteous, then you have become unrighteous. Did you see that? Did you see that? Yes.

[6:05] How can you? Yes, you are corrupt. Yes, you are corrupt. You are corrupt. It's only a corrupt judge that can declare someone guilty innocent. Yes. Yes. But the beauty of Christianity is that God declares the unrighteous righteous and he is still righteous.

[6:23] That's justification. Yes. Yes. Yes. And there is grounds for justification. And so he said, by him. By Jesus, everyone who believes.

[6:36] That's the process of justification. Once you believe in him. Come on. Once you believe in him. Okay. Everyone who believes is justified.

[6:47] Listen. He was talking to Jews in the synagogue and proselytized and deviled people who have been attending synagogues every time, every Saturday, but they still knew they didn't have right standing with God.

[6:59] The more you are exposed to the law, the more you know you are far from God. And so they knew they were far from God, but they just tried to stay around and to see pure adventure.

[7:11] Like some religions will tell you, no one knows whose sins are forgiven. Even the founder, the leader doesn't know. When you die, you will know whether this God will forgive you or not. Why do you have to wait till you die?

[7:22] He said, by him, forgiveness of sin is preached. He says that this man, through this man, forgiveness is preached. And by him, he who, everyone, everyone, it doesn't matter your background.

[7:36] It doesn't matter what you have done in the past. No, God doesn't care because he doesn't care about what you did. Yeah. The bad news is you are not qualified, but the good news is you don't have to qualify. So, so it's that by him, everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by this law.

[7:59] The law is not bad, but it can't help you. So, it says that, can you imagine, he went to God seekers. He went to church.

[8:10] That's why it's kind of worrying when we come to church to come and preach things that you can hear somewhere else. Nobody comes to church for academic lessons.

[8:26] That's not a church. That's a lecture at our university or something. Nobody comes to church for Zumba classes. If you want to keep fit, gym.

[8:39] If you want to play football, the field. If you want to do shopping, grocery shopping, Americans call it grocery shopping. Okay. Grocery shopping. The shop, Sainsbury's, Tesco, and a lot of them, Lidl.

[8:55] All of them, they are there. Go there. I'm just trying to tell you something. If you want medical attention, go to hospital. Nobody, you don't see your friend in hospital and say, oh, what are you coming to buy?

[9:09] When the doctor comes to see you, he says, okay, I want to check your credit file. We can look at your mortgage condition. No, no, that's not the reason for being there. Is it not worrying that we can come to church and now the things that are supposed to be done somewhere else is now becoming the center stage of church?

[9:26] They are gathered to hear the word of God for worship. And then after all is said and done, they sit down, talk to us the word.

[9:37] So, verse 15, they come in, if you have any word of exaltation. And so they've gathered there. And so Paul, having a word of salvation, verse 26, having a word of salvation.

[9:49] Or Paul, who goes around speaking the word of the Lord, verse 5 and verse 7. The proconsul called them to hear the word of the Lord. That's what Paul themselves have been called for.

[10:01] He's been called for the word of the Lord. Speaking the word of the Lord, spoke to them the word of the Lord. And he used the Jewish history to explain to them that the word of the Lord is not far from anybody.

[10:14] And you are in synagogues and synagogues and Sabbath after Sabbath, but you are still not justified. Then he says, I want you to know by him.

[10:25] This Jesus I've been talking about. He is the climax. He is the culmination. He is the measure of everything God has been doing.

[10:36] It climaxes in Jesus. So, by him, whoever believes in him is justified from all things by which the law. You could not be justified by the law of Moses.

[10:48] So, that's the word of God they were carrying. And then after saying that, you would have thought he would have done an altar call.

[10:59] If you want to accept the message, can you come here and do an altar call? He rather turns on them and he begins to warn them.

[11:10] When the true word of God comes to you, you are worse off or better off. But you never stay the same. Did you hear what I said?

[11:22] Anytime the word of God in his purity is taught or is preached, whoever hears that preaching or whoever is preached to, your state gets worse or gets better.

[11:34] But you never remain the same. You are either going left or you are going right. So, when he finished, he said, watch out.

[11:45] Beware, therefore, lest a judgment... I need to calm down. A judgment. Beware lest that come upon you what the prophets have spoken.

[11:56] He warned them of coming judgment after hearing such a word. He said, you are in trouble now unless you make a decision. Else, a big problem.

[12:08] Because then he calls Habakkuk chapter 1 verse 5. God, the prophet Habakkuk saw a problem coming. He saw a challenge coming.

[12:19] He saw trouble coming. He saw the Assyrians, the enemies of God's people. They were wicked. They are anti-God. They hated God. He saw the enemies of God's people who hated God coming after God's people.

[12:33] And it's like God has sent them to come and destroy God's people. So, when the prophet saw that, he told God, he said, God, but how come those who are even wicked, these ones are attempting to... Your people are attempting to walk with you.

[12:44] One of them, they will flaunt it one or two times. But these ones hate you. How come you are allowing them to overrun your people? And he said to the prophet, I am allowing them to come because my people have disobeyed me.

[12:58] So, I will use worse people to punish them. And afterwards, I will punish those worse people. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. I will punish them.

[13:09] So, he says, when Habakkuk saw that, he said, oh my God. So, that's God's plan. And then, Paul now is quoting Habakkuk that God won't beware lest the coming judgments you're about to see, you won't like it.

[13:24] You won't like it. There are always two types of people in church. There are two types of churches or two types of people in the church, but two types of churches.

[13:39] We have the visible church. That's who we are. You can see us in church. But within the visible church, we have the invisible church.

[13:50] Those who, you can't tell whether they are in church truly. So, there are people here who are not in God. And nobody has the apparatus to be able to tell.

[14:04] Your hearts might not be captured by God, but you are always in church. You are devout, probably. You are a proselyte, probably. Or you are a Jew, probably.

[14:16] But you are just in the synagogue. Two types of churches. The visible and the invisible.

[14:27] And when the word of God is coming, it always finds place in the heart of the invisible church. So, someone is sitting next to you and you are surprised.

[14:40] He's dozing. The word that everybody is excited about, that's the way. Or there can be times church is over or you finish listening to a message with somebody and the person passes.

[14:54] Oh, I didn't enjoy you. You are shocked. Ah! I was so blessed. I wasn't... Yes. The same word that was preached to them as well, Hebrews chapter 4.

[15:07] He did not prophet them. The same. So, he said that, beware lest they come... Beware, therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of the prophets.

[15:24] Then he calls it. Behold! He said, look. Don't ignore it. He said, behold! Ye despises. Behold and wonder. Yes. You will see and you will be shocked.

[15:35] He said, because... Behold and wonder and perish. So, despises said, despises. You despise the way that is coming. Behold and wonder. God, look at what you are about to see.

[15:47] To shock you. And wonder and perish. Why? He says that, for I will work this God. God said, I will work a work. Years ago, I've always known that this is revival.

[15:59] But no, this one is judgment. He said, I will work a work in your days. A work which ye shall in no wise believe. And though a man declares his son to you, you won't believe it.

[16:11] God, it doesn't seem possible that God can give us up like that. It doesn't seem... It's just like, Paul was sounding like his master Jesus. Jesus told the Jews in Luke chapter 19, verse 41, 42, 43, 43 and 44.

[16:33] He says that if he had known, verse 44, look at verse 44. He says that, and the, the, the, the, the, the, when he saw the city, he wept over the city. And he says that if he had known the day of your visitation.

[16:45] Then verse 44, quickly, verse 44 says that, and, let's, let's, let's, 43, sorry. Let's go to 43. It's got to be said. For the days shall come upon thee, that your enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee around, and keep thee in every side.

[17:05] The evil is coming. And verse 44 says that, and shall lay thee even in, with the, with the ground, and thy children within thee, and they shall not leave thee one stone upon the other.

[17:18] Because thou knoweth not the day of your visitation. Now, Jesus told them this, that Jerusalem will be destroyed, and the temple is going to come down. I mean, when Jesus was saying this, it didn't look possible.

[17:31] It didn't look possible. Like you look at UK today, it didn't look possible that in the next 10 years, London will be destroyed and it will be like Afghanistan.

[17:43] Or London will be like, where Taliban is really where, or Syria was like, this thing's too far. That in the next five years, it will, the, the, the, while this prophecy given in the scripture was this one Jesus gave, that didn't seem possible, impossible that it will happen.

[18:02] He said, wonder, look, and behold. Jesus said, and within a short time, after the death of Jesus, Jerusalem, 1.1 million Jews were killed.

[18:15] The temple was brought down. Everything was scattered in Jerusalem. That's the prophet Jesus gave, which they thought would never happen. Paul was talking to them, he warned them. He said, beware.

[18:26] I don't know what God is telling you and you think you have time. You know you have time because you know, sometimes those of us who in, in our, in our, in our academic life, when you were in school, when you know you have exam in three weeks or a month, you know, give and take.

[18:50] Yeah. So you know, I'll prepare, I'll prepare. And now just, I used to do that a lot. Just before the exam, you give all your attention to it and to your surprise, you passed.

[19:03] So it's not really, so the, and then the next exam, similar, you passed. The next one, similar, you passed. That's what happens to some of the silly boys.

[19:19] You go and slap a police officer and he goes to court. The judge says that it's a foolish case. Ah, no, it's not that they've let you off the hook. They are allowing you to go deeper.

[19:31] Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, yes. You insulted, you assaulted your teacher. You, you threw apple at your teacher in class and it went to the headmistress and your mom came and defended you.

[19:46] And we realized that the teacher was too harsh on you. The way, that's why, you know, you had special need. So that's why. It's preparing you for a special problem.

[19:57] Yes. Yes. A road of correction would drive foolishness away from a child.

[20:08] Yeah. Years ago I parked in Peckham. Peckham Rye. I used to live in Peckham. About 25 years ago. Peckham Rye.

[20:20] Peckham Rye. You just go there, you know. That type of traffic is so bad on that road. Because where there's a concentration of Africans. Because we bring our, our Kumasi, our Accra and Lagos.

[20:37] Lagos style of driving. We bring it everywhere. Not because we are bad, but that's how we know. If they say don't park, double yellow, you just park. You know, I'll be back in five minutes.

[20:49] I'm just going here. It's okay. It's just five minutes. It's not like that block traffic. Oh, it's just five minutes. Somebody can stop in the middle of the road to load this in their car. Whilst others are waiting.

[21:00] Yeah. So when I was going to buy rye plantain, just park, double yellow and just go in. So the system changed. I didn't know.

[21:11] Now they were not using traffic warnings again. The camera. Now when I got two tickets, I told you, I didn't even like to drive on that road again.

[21:24] You see? You see how correction and punishment can help you. Sometimes the punishment you go through helps you to be safer tomorrow.

[21:36] Yeah. When you suffer replications for some misbehavior and wrongdoing, it's maybe God's way of saving you from something bigger. Yeah. Yeah.

[21:47] You want to kiss somebody's girlfriend. And the guy got upset and everybody turned against you, your friend. He slapped you. Maybe you were going towards wife one day.

[22:00] Yeah. But that girlfriend situation saved you from a wifely... Uh... Are you getting?

[22:11] Are you getting? So sometimes, thank God you fell into trouble earlier. Yeah. Because we have the proclivity of continuing. Even though we know it's not good.

[22:22] As long as there's no negative repercussion, the human nature has the tendency, the proclivity and the inclination to continue as usual. miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle miracle you drive recklessly and you claim insurance.

[23:08] You wait for your next insurance. So, God, Paul, after teaching, he said, you have to be warned because there is a worse thing coming.

[23:27] A bigger problem is ahead. Be warned. And so, he quotes from that scripture. I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare unto you.

[23:44] After preaching such a powerful word, he warns them. He warns them. When you hear the word of God, you are likely to be in trouble. Anytime God speaks to you, he knows why he spoke to you.

[24:02] At that time. There is an English axiom, or adage, or proverb, a stitch in time saves nine.

[24:17] Not nine. Nine. one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Yeah. A stitch in time saves nine.

[24:31] God will always give you allowance to change. there are times he will allow you to get by.

[24:45] Yeah. God will allow you. You think he didn't know what you said? Oh, he knows it. He knows it. He knows what is growing in your heart, but he still gave you opportunity.

[24:56] Yes. He has fired you already by still promoting you. One of the things I fear most is my dealings with the graced and the anointed.

[25:12] So I have access to Archbishop. I have access to Bishop Dad. I have access to Bishop Oedipo. I have access to Reverend Institute and Pierre Covey. I have access to great, great, great, great men of God.

[25:26] Great men of God. With Oedipo, notable sign of manifestation of grace. But when you go close to them, there are times you might notice that this is a human being. You see the humanity.

[25:40] And I fear less I go investigate into the humanity and forget the grace. And sometimes you get away with it by passing reckless comment.

[25:56] Why did he preach so long? Why did he have to say that? You might get away with it and then go and stand and then your anointing will still continue flowing. So sometimes you may seem to be getting away but what you cannot claim you don't know is you can't say you didn't know God warned you.

[26:19] Oh yeah. When God is warning you, you will know that God is warning you. But your friends will be edging you on. Your allies may not know what God is telling you.

[26:32] But you know what God is telling you. And sometimes he can single you out and crush you and your allies are still flourishing. beware.

[26:51] Beware. After preaching the word he turns on them and warns them because after what you have heard you are not innocent.

[27:03] You can't claim innocence. You can't claim innocence after what you are hearing. and the Bible says he who has an ear let him hear what the spirit is saying to the church.

[27:17] When it comes to dealing with people you know carry grace. You have to be very spiritual. Sometimes naturally some things will not gel but switch to be spiritual.

[27:30] Spirituality makes you not consider some things. We work by faith not by sign. Hallelujah.

[27:42] So Paul after preaching he warns them and he says that then the next verse see what happened and when the Jews when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue the Gentiles besought these words that this word might be preached to them and he said hey so the word of God can be so sweet they said what we don't have it by nature we have not heard words like this he said please please can you stay next 30 days can you speak these same words again because I'm going to bring my neighbors I'm going to bring people because we didn't know the word can be so sweet oh yes we didn't know so they besought them the Gentiles it's not the Jews the Gentiles the Jews were still staying in the blind spots of grace not the Jews the Gentile majority Gentiles said please so within that week you can imagine the work that was going on a lot of people were people were talking and they were also

[29:06] Paul and Barnabas were also people were coming to him them asking more questions and they were explaining it so you could imagine how because they've not heard these things before these are words of life words of grace you've come into direct confrontation or direct contact with forgiveness of sins it's only a Christian who understands what forgiveness of sins how forgiveness of sins feel like human beings can forgive you for what they have done but it still doesn't change anything what you have done is when you enjoy true forgiveness of sins the sin that is sending you to hell Bible says in Romans chapter 4 verse 5 and verse 6 verse 6 verse 7 actually David speaks about the blessedness of the even as David also described the blessedness of the man unto whom God imputed righteousness without works it's such a blessing look at the next verse saying blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven and those whose sins are covered that's real blessing

[30:23] Paul said David saw it and David spoke about do you know what it means for your sins to be covered if you don't know what it means for your sins to be covered you are not a Christian the entry point of Christianity is forgiveness of sins in the negative side justification in the positive side justification is after you have been forgiven you have been declared righteous so righteousness has been imprinted into you your accounts so you appear before God as though you've been righteous all your life that's where Christianity starts from Christianity doesn't start from attending a church service because there are two types of churches when God loses from heaven he sees his church within the church when we look on earth we see the church but when

[31:28] God looks from heaven he sees his church he says should we destroy the the test no so leave it I like it like that else you might affect the world because you can't tell am I am I am I teaching at all so it says that they ask that but what I want to focus a bit more on is verse 43 shall we all read a lot from the screen let's go all right just like Macaranta okay let's go again now when the congregation was broken up many of the Jews and the religious proselytes followed

[32:29] Paul and Barabbas who speaking to them persuaded them to continue in the place of God it's not enough when the congregation church has finished they were not in a rush to go to now switch to banner boy it's to show some people right after church they sit back in their car it's David Doe Afrobeat right after church what did you say praise the

[33:33] Lord some people they come to church just to take a religious box have done that but after church their life continues there's not even an appetite to try and do something with the word of God you've heard no appetite you told him when you were leaving home you wait let me go to church and come you can go and tell pastor I don't care what anybody will say not even an angel change my mind that can be a position but when you come into contact with God's word something in you must give way something you must give way you come to church and you say I have been so blessed and nothing has changed you nothing has changed as soon as we finish the first thing you pick your phone to gossip you told them wait after church

[34:42] I'm coming home I'll deal with this guy some even they don't wait to get home right in church they are fighting with the usher what I don't understand is when after service a worker is fighting another worker who is going to carry the chair in which van they are fighting after powerful service that's why sometimes I fear for those doing security I fear for those busy ushering sometimes I fear constantly ushering so we have to even change every time you want to be part of the praise and worship move so that one person host him doesn't stay out haven't you seen how some host members have paid a heavy price for hosting you from outside I'm telling you it's not showing up in the environment it's being part of a worshipful life as it's going on something is going inside you something is happening to you sometimes the impact might not be drastic but over a period of time you can see that something on my inside is working on my outside yeah when you see someone in security say oh nowadays

[36:09] I don't like going to church it's because I'm not surprised they were always at their door but never came in temple police protecting us from wicked people which is good but they never got interested in protecting themselves from the devil you have to hear the word it's the word which is able to save your soul yeah because some people don't mind not hearing the word they don't mind they don't hear the word but they will hear the world you are coming to church singing to us but you are as empty as a barrel empty in your spirit we are doing bible read you don't read it and when you don't read it it doesn't bother you because not all of us constantly get to read it but it's not a border at all in fact you feel like that's not for you it's like when it's time for offerings people believe that it's not for me it's for some of the people who are not smart they give offering in church but it's not for me it's the same thing you are singing on stage and yet your life is empty of the word of

[37:41] God the richness of God's word no wonder your sins are growing what do I mean by your sins your weaknesses the natural tendencies carnality is growing like a giant inside you so what you are treading on is just your natural ability your voice your voice empty void of the life of God so you only entertain us but you don't enrich us I told you there are two types of churches divisible and invisible we only see divisible this is nice this is nice this is nice he was watching pornography all night how would you know how would you know he was watching porn how would you know but he knows how to manage or she knows how to maneuver and gossip gossiping against the leaders of the church but she can stand a maneuver with dexterity and skillfulness and you feel

[38:43] I enjoy you are not blessed you are entertained you really enjoy your flesh enjoy the ministration that's why you can't even say no to sin because you didn't receive nourishment after preaching like this what makes you be able to work with God is not the words but it's the content of my spirit the God I work with life it begins to empower you to work with God so it's not my information that helps you but it's my purity and my work with God contributes in helping you based on the purity of God's word he said they encouraged them to continue my goodness I feel like preaching persuaded them to continue in their grace that mean they started something to grace oh remember how he says that John chapter 1 I'm going to verse 14 but these earlier verses are troubling me verse 1 in the beginning was the word the word was with

[39:48] God and the word was God the same was in the beginning with God all things were made by him and without him was nothing made that was made in him was life and the light was the light the light shines in the darkness there was a man his name was John the same came forth to bear witness of the light that through him all who might believe in the he was not the light he was said to bear witness of the true light that lightened everyone coming into the world he was in the world and the world was but the world knew!

[40:22] not he came to his own but as many as believe in him he gave them the power to become the sons of God born not of the will of the flesh or blood of men but of God and the word and the word and the word watch this and the word became flesh and we dwelt among us and we beheld his glory the glory as of the monogamous of the father full of grace is when you begin to enjoy Christ when Christ becomes your enjoyment you have contacted grace let's leave the small definition of grace that's human definition grace pure grace is when Christ becomes your enjoyment grace verse 16 says that of his fullness and of his fullness have we all received from grace to grace grace for grace grace for grace of his fullness is grace so in

[41:42] Acts chapter 14 verse 22 they encourage them to continue yeah they continue when you look at chapter 2 verse 11 it said the grace of God salvation is a work of grace did you see that the grace of God are you saved then it was a matter of grace if you are saved it's a matter of grace for by grace are you saved Ephesians chapter 2 verse 6 verse 8 he says not of yourself for by grace are you saved through faith grace Acts chapter 11 verse 23 when he came and he saw the grace so the people there are enjoying Christ they are saved you are not saved if you don't enjoy Christ salvation starts with enjoying Christ unbelievers as I said can sing Jesus loves me this

[42:42] I know but it's only those who are saved who can sing how I love Jesus oh how I love Jesus no you can't love Jesus if you are not saved for God so loves the world so as for the love of God is there but our love God is a function of salvation function of grace if you are not saved you can love Jesus that is what Paul said anyone who does not love the Lord Jesus Christ be cursed 1st Corinthians 16 22 that's why Peter said in 1st Peter chapter 1 verse 8 that whom have not seen yield so if you are born again and if you are in Christ it's actually assumed and it's natural it is obvious and it is by default believed that you are in love with Jesus that's where grace starts from when you begin to enjoy this Jesus grace so to be saved means you have come into grace did you hear that to be saved means you have come into grace

[43:48] Bible says in chapter 4 verse 33 and they went about preaching and there was great grace upon them to be saved means you have come into grace but the problem is you can fall from grace Galatians chapter 5 verse 4 you started in grace it says that whoever of you are justified by the law you are falling from grace see the law can justify you now if you go to begin to stay on law you are falling from grace we can it's not because God doesn't love you because you are behaving good God doesn't love you because now you are great good guy you are doing great no he loves you because Jesus is great be careful be careful how you point your fingers at people they might be standing in grace

[45:42] Romans chapter 5 verse 2 said we have come into this grace where we stand by whom also we have access by faith into this grace where we stand Colossians chapter 1 verse 6 I think you like that one then we go to 2nd Corinthians chapter 6 verse 1 which is come unto you as it is in all the world and bringing forth fruit as it is also amongst you since the day you heard a new when you hear the word of God the truth you begin to know the grace of God in truth anyone who is saved knows the grace of God in truth when you are saved so those who were saved Paul told them continue in the grace tell somebody continue in grace continue in grace continue in the grace don't let anything distract you your own disappointment of yourself don't let it distract you just continue in grace keep pushing keep on keeping on keep pushing keep fighting keep running and keep believing hallelujah grace has brought us this far grace

[47:03] Paul said I am first Corinthians chapter 15 verse 10 it's just by grace just by grace just by grace Hebrews chapter 12 verse 15 you like that one Hebrews chapter 12 verse 15 looking carefully lest anyone for you have to be careful you have to be careful you have to be careful these friends you are beginning to associate yourself with be careful you may fall from grace this kind of messages you have started listening to you are listening to some messages that are going to vandalize your Christian life vandalize your understanding of justification be careful lest you fall from grace we stand in grace the true church the true church of God is grace born is grace carried is grace induced stay in grace continue in grace let me finish this thing is someone getting something after one so they encourage tell somebody continue in grace continue in grace!

[48:47] Hallelujah! so let's get back to the text because I have to run up and it says that and the next Sabbath came almost the whole city together to hear the oh they came for one reason to hear the word it's the word it's the word it's the word they came to hear the word of God almost their whole city that tells you during the week they were doing Jesus campaign yeah they were doing Jesus campaign those who have heard it were talking and Paul and Panabas they were also there talking so they had done a lot of don't think people just show up in church because something will move them no something will move them we have to go and move them and tell them who is going to tell them who is going to tell them it is your most sad moments in church and that is when you find all kinds of reasons why you can't speak that's why so but the whole city came people come to church not because

[50:00] Holy Ghost is talking to them in their house people come to church because people in church are talking when evil people are talking online you to go online and talk talk what matters that can help people come to church since you started coming to church how many have you brought to church how many are you sure continue in grace can I finish grace is someone receiving something at all just about the continuing grace oh I have to finish this thing now watch this watch this I have just few minutes I have to stop now now watch this verse 45 45 44 is actually a reflection of revival revival doesn't mean everybody is born again but there is something that has changed in the city towards the word of God one of my biggest prayers is that many churches will be on the streets in

[51:05] UK so it's not only us everybody can wear green t-shirt any t-shirt no t-shirt doesn't matter one of my biggest desires because if it's only us there's if it's only us it must begin to you can see the same thing is replicating other places don't say never ever think any church is in competition with any church never why should a church compete to another church it's a sign that somebody has fallen from Greece we should be happy we are one team we should be happy that this church is doing well so maybe we are meeting here another church wants to come to the first floor they come just that they shouldn't be doing praise and worship while we are preaching are you getting what I'm saying it's not revival if it's only one local church it's happening one local church it's the whole city genuine conversions and it's not only one church it's happening then we can say united kingdom that we can say landing is revival bookshops are selling more bibles the river can only be one church the whole city they came not for entertainment not to come and listen to music fan all right verse 45 says that but when the Jews saw the multitude you see they were filled with envy and spoke against the things which what was

[52:44] Paul speaking but the word now this Jews synagogue people Jews who were supposed to be the people of God rather speaking against you see you can imagine if this was social media what they would have been saying against Paul social media while the Gentiles said please can we hear this again can we hear this it's not new it is normal if you speak Jesus said what betise you if all men speak well of you Luke chapter 6 nowadays that is even cheap to look for audience online look for some people who give you rating once you speak about them more people want to know what what is it you talking about don't you if you are Christian don't you know when you can encounter grace well they were filled with envy it is easy for even churches to be filled with envy it's easy for the it happens that's why most religious contentions from different religions!

[53:47] is based on envy because they were going to synagogue every time people were not! suddenly Paul has come the whole city has come and they didn't come and listen to why we have always been here why this person and so they were moved with envy you might be listening to somebody whose heart is full of envy and the things he is saying he can pick on something that is not really true but it makes logical sense!

[54:23] you must know what is important they were moved with envy but when the Jews you would think it should have been the Gentiles the Jews saw the multitudes they saw the number of people going to caress they saw single seminar they were filled with envy filled with envy and contradicting and blaspheming they opposed their things listen what was Paul saying wrong meanwhile those who wanted the word of God they won't listen to these people God they have met Paul you have changed my life Paul I thank God I met you Paul can you speak more to me wherever we are whether it's in Kensington whether it's in metropole wherever we go to anywhere it doesn't matter as long as the word is there

[55:25] I'll be there as long as the word is there speak the word to me that makes sense when Paul told Timothy chapter 4 verse 2 preach the word preach the word a little one of you shall become a thousand small one mighty nation they contradicted what Paul spoke because of their personal interest be careful you don't spoil what God is doing because just because of your personal interest your personal interest I just want to draw attention that there are two types of churches the visible church and the invisible the ones we cannot see we don't know who are members of the church he's the only one who knows the members of his church because of time

[56:30] I have to be disciplined I have to stop now and I will continue I will continue but don't forget when you hear God's word impurity you are either in trouble or you are in a blessing you have to choose God can force you I will show you later Paul when they said we don't want to hear Paul said it was necessary to preach the gospel to you first but since you have rejected it he said we will accept your rejection they embraced their rejection then they moved on thank you for listening to this message by David Entry we pray you have been revived towards God you can connect with David Entry on all relevant social media platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn you can also hear more messages from David Entry from all relevant streaming platforms and the parish church app don't forget to like and share the message be blessed
