The Body is Not For Fornication

[0:00] Hallelujah. We thank God you've tuned into this message by David Entry at Caris Church. No hand can help you with the fulfillment of your destiny but the Word of God.

[0:11] May God's hand align you further into your destiny through this word. Jesus chapter 5 verse 1. Be ye therefore followers of God as dear children, and walk in love as Christ also loved us, and has given himself for us, and offering a sacrifice to God for a sweet smell in the sever.

[0:39] But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints, neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient, but rather giving of thanks.

[1:12] Here is the reading of God's Word. So we saw how our lives must flow as a sacrifice.

[1:26] And what type of sacrifice must our lives be? Peace and mercy. So our sacrifice might be a sweet-smelling sacrifice, or it must have a sweet-smelling aroma.

[1:39] God has nose. Mmm. And his nose only smells sacrifice. It doesn't smell perfume.

[1:52] Sacrifice. Sweet-smelling. God said, I like the sacrifice. Not sacrifice for God, but sacrifice for people and for the church.

[2:04] Paul said, if I am being poured out as a drink offering.

[2:17] Those days when you make a sacrifice, burnt offering. When it keeps burning and burning, just before it finishes, the last bit of the sacrifice, before it finishes burning, then you pour drink sacrifice, drink offering to see the sacrifice.

[2:40] So drink offering comes in when it's at the last stages of the sacrifice. So that's why Paul said, I am being poured out as a drink offering.

[2:52] You know what that means? That now the last stage of my life has come. The major sacrifices have been done. Now I am on the drink offering stage. Being poured out, 2 Timothy chapter 4, verse 6.

[3:05] I am ready. I am already being poured out. So in Ephesians chapter 5, it says that we should walk in love as Christ has loved us and given himself for us.

[3:23] And offering a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling saver. So he loved us and gave himself and gave us the example.

[3:34] So I know you know John 3, 16. But 1 John 3, 16 is also a good thing to remember. Religious people used to say that a lot.

[3:45] I don't know if they used to say it. They said, the Bible never said, love your neighbor more than yourself. It said, love your neighbor as yourself. For the American Christian authors who have written that in books, you have to love yourself first before you can love others.

[4:03] That's a tautology and nonsense. Everybody loves themselves by nature. Even those who do self-harm. It's because of selfishness.

[4:14] Naturally, everybody loves himself. Nobody says, I want to just suffer in life and everything must work against it. No, naturally.

[4:26] We are selfish by nature. So one of the easy ways to even serve God is when you know there's hell.

[4:37] You don't want to go. You love yourself. So you have to check into heaven. So one of the motivating factors for serving God is selfishness. Now he says that walk in love as Christ.

[4:50] Did you see that? Now self, this goes against the trend of selfishness. You can come to Christ based on selfish reasons, which is wise.

[5:04] It's wise to look for help. But when you are in the advanced Christian life is a love that sacrifices for others. A life that is not lived for self.

[5:18] Isaiah 53, verse 5. He was wounded for other people's transgressions. It says that he was wounded for his transgressions.

[5:31] Is that what he said? He was wounded for his transgressions. He was bruised for his iniquities. The chastisement for his peace was upon him.

[5:43] No. You can see that all the things he went through was for us. He said, I present to you first of all that which I also received.

[5:55] The gospel. 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verse 3. That Christ died for. Wow! For I deliver unto you first of all that which also I received.

[6:08] How that Christ died for our, not his sins because he didn't have any. For our. Galatians chapter 1, verse 4. He gave himself for us.

[6:19] For us. For us. For us. So the three crosses which I said the other time last week or the week before. That three things, three people were dying on three crosses.

[6:30] One was dying to sin. The other was dying in sin. And the other one was dying for sins. For sins. Christ died for sins.

[6:42] He suffered for us. He suffered for us. I think 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 20 or 22. Somewhere there it talks about. For to this you were called.

[6:54] Because Christ also suffered for us. Leaving us an example. He left us an example to follow.

[7:06] So, he is supposed, you are supposed to trace the edges of his silhouette. That must be your silhouette. He suffered for, and he says for this end you have been, to this you were called.

[7:21] So many, many Christians are living below the standard of their calling. Wow. Because it's there. This is what you have been called to. In Philippians chapter 1, verse 29.

[7:32] It says it's not given to us only to believe. Believe only. People are only believing. God was only believing. No. It said for to you it has not been granted on the behalf of Christ. It has been granted on behalf.

[7:43] Not only to believe in him, but. For his sake. For his sake. For his sake. For his sake. So, suffering is a necessary part of Christian progress. I am not talking about suffering in general, but suffering for him.

[7:57] So, it says that. Ephesians chapter 5 again. Talking about how, walk in love as Christ also loved us.

[8:08] And has given himself for us an offering. us, not you. The us excluding you. So you are walking in love for this day.

[8:21] Walk in love as Christ also walked, as Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us an offering. So you should do that the way you are living your life to be a blessing to people.

[8:38] God must enjoy that sacrifice. Like, hmm, can you imagine what kind of blessings God will pour in your life? What blessings won't God give you? It's not everybody who prays about a lot of things for God to do.

[8:53] Most of us, our prayer topics are more dealing with church things. Things that will build the church. Things that will advance the church. Things that are for the cause of the gospel. Our prayer topics are not personal things.

[9:07] Because personal things, God takes care of them. When you take care of God's personal things, He takes care of your personal things. It's the life you are living.

[9:21] When your life pleases God, there's no way what belongs to you in life will escape you. Some of you, you invested so much into making you look glamorous.

[9:37] It's not bad in itself. But it will be better if you look glamorous in the spirit. Some of us, in the spirit, we look like a caricature.

[9:54] Like a monster. You look so nice. But in the spirit, you are like a monster. Because you have not been decorated spiritually.

[10:07] God's eyes have not been forced to stay on you. Because nothing you are pursuing is in life the heartbeat of God.

[10:22] you are so sensitive and so everything about what you and me so much so that you keep missing what matters to God.

[10:37] If you want to put a smile on God's face, you have to walk in love just as Christ sacrificed and his sacrifice became a sweet smelling aroma before God.

[10:56] Hallelujah. Amen. Because today I am coming to teach on fornication. I can't choose what to teach. I can't choose what to teach. I am following a sequence.

[15:20] I was reading from some commentary and it says nothing is more damaging to mankind than fornication it is especially damaging to God's purpose and intention in creating man and to the believers church life in the body of Christ fornication is very damaging to the believers church life fornication fornication let's define fornication the Greek word is ponia so I believe one of the translations is definitely likely to translate it sexual impurities impurities okay let's run through the translations and see is someone learning something one of the best things to know when you are young it's good to know about fornication so that when you are trading in it you know you are losing out okay so you can choose to to waste destiny opportunities or preserve it let's look at different translations you see that's ponia which in English ponia sexual immorality but King James translated fornication what is fornication for but okay

[16:44] King James said fornication what is fornication fornication is sexual interaction between people who are not married and adultery is sexual interaction between two people one of whom is married so so for every adultery is fornication but not every fornication is adultery so he says fornication it should but fornication he's talking to us about we should walk in love as Christ did then he said but fornication and uncleanness sexual immorality includes excuse me my language okay there doesn't have to be penetration for it to be sexual immorality impurity in Colossians chapter 3 verse 5 it says therefore put to death your members which are on earth what's the meaning of that?

[17:51] New Living Translation it might make sense New Living Translation says so put to death the sinful earthly things lurking within you you know one thing about last and these things it's so private nobody knows yeah how many of you have liked somebody and they didn't have a clue?

[45:28] God finds it so honorable so Hebrews chapter 13 verse 4 says that marriage is honorable and the interaction in the bed between a husband and wife is honorable above all marriage is honorable and he said marriage is honorable and interaction the bed is on the it's not for God doesn't have a problem he created it and that's why I'm telling you having a crash and libido is not a sin but when you have a crash remember the body is not for fornication it's for the Lord don't use what belongs to God to satisfy your crash it belongs to God he said he said marriage is honorable and the bed on the fire then he said but put it on the screen Hebrews Hebrews chapter 13 verse 4 but all mongers and adulterers God said leave them for me

[46:29] I will deal with it myself God said I will deal with it myself 1st Corinthians chapter 6 verse 13 alright so now let's go to verse 15 verse 15 says that know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ did you see that that's what I said the body is not for fornication it's a member of Christ when you get into a relationship be determined that you'll be a Christian girl be determined because there's a thin line between being a strong Christian girl and a fake Christian girl thin line between being a strong Christian man one thing I realized about Christian ladies is they have such admiration for pure Christian men so when you're a Christian leader and the girls love you they love you because they find you so pure so they don't fear to love you they know they can give you hug any type of hug and it's not a problem women are created to honor women know how to honor that's why in every environment of worship women can go deeper they admire your godliness so those of you who want to be leaders
