[0:13] ! May Jesus Christ reveal Himself to you as you listen. Ephesians 5, verse 4. Let's all read it from the screen. Let's go.

[0:30] All those things are not fitting. But you know what is fitting? Giving of thanks. I thought I heard you shout, thank you Jesus.

[0:50] Hebrews chapter 13, verse 15. He said, Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God. That is the fruit of my goodness.

[1:07] Listen! But I'm just saying something. Don't just say it. Mean it and express it. Don't be thankful silently.

[1:17] Jesus Christ. Oh, yes. Thank you Jesus! It says that let us continually, without fail, ceaselessly, constantly, let us constantly offer the sacrifice.

[1:41] The sacrifice of praise to God. That is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. When you wake up, thank you Jesus.

[1:56] When you hear good news, thank you Jesus. When you hear news that you really were not excited about, still thank you Jesus. Giving thanks, continually giving thanks. The fruit of your...

[2:07] Listen! Don't be caught without thanks in your mouth. Your thanks in your mouth is God's care start to work through you. If there's no thanks, He can't track whatever, whatever. It's not fitting!

[2:22] It's not fitting! That you, a person like you, can live a whole day without saying thank you. You, you could have died a while ago. Look at what has happened in your life.

[2:41] And God has personally kept you. He kept you so He doesn't need anything from you. All you have to do is to say thank you.

[2:55] God loves you! It's so nice to appear before God and say, God... God says, yeah, talk to me, girl. Talk to me, my boy.

[3:07] You know God loves you. God, you don't know. God calls you, girl. God calls you, baby. God treasures you so much. Anytime you approach God, many Christians don't know that God actually loves it when you come to Him.

[3:23] God loves you. He said, let us come boldly before the throne of grace. That we obtain mercy and find grace to Him. Come! He said, come! Come close!

[3:36] Come close! Then when you come, instead of coming to ask for mercy and ask for grace, after mercy should be part of your normal dealings with God. Then God says, oh my darling, I'm so happy you came.

[3:50] I'm glad you came. Well done for coming. Because Satan doesn't want you to come close. And then God says, what shall I do? What can I do for you? Then you open your mouth and said, all I want to say...

[5:38] You are complaining about what is not enough. That's why it keeps finishing in your hands. One wise man said, the children of Israel did not enjoy the sweetness in the manna, not because it didn't contain the sweetness, but when they were eating the manna, they longed for something better.

[5:59] What was the one eating and what is this? What is this? What is this? The garlic, what is this? So they never got what else inside. Most of us, you have complained and complained, merming about the church and complained, merming about evangelism.

[6:15] That's why any time you join the evangelism team, you don't win any soul. Listen, this is a powerful statement.

[6:27] Resources diminish in the hands of a complainer. Resources, they diminish. I'm a pastor.

[6:38] Sometimes I give people opportunity to do things. And those who sat down not grateful, things don't really flourish in their hands. You can think you are anointed, but things will not work in your hands because you are not grateful.

[6:51] You are not thankful. Because when they knew God, they did not glorify him as God. No, we're thankful. God said, it doesn't work like that yet.

[7:04] For it to work with me, there must be a heart of thankful. Even for your prayers to work. He said, when you pray, say, our Father who worked in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom, thy will be done on earth.

[7:16] Ask it in heaven. Give us this day our deliverance, and forgive us. Ask to forgive those who trespass. And lead us not to temptation, but deliver us from evil. And then he said, for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

[7:31] That's an expression of doxology. Your prayer, the full stop to every effective prayer is doxology. Thank you!

[7:42] Say thank you! You must master the game of saying thank you. Sometimes, come and sit before God. Ask God. And say to God, God, we need to talk.

[7:55] God said, I've been waiting for this moment. Because I've been seeing what is going on in your life. I want to do something about it. Talk to me, girl. Talk to me, boy.

[8:06] Talk to me, my darling. And he said, God, what did you just say? He said, yeah, I know you've been going through a lot. And I want to do something about it. Say, oh God, that's not why I came.

[8:20] God, that's not why I came. You want to do more? I came to say thank you for all what I've been through and you've kept me going. God spotted David.

[8:37] Not on the stage. God. You are in our... The stage doesn't put you in God's limelight. You cannot be used by God the way He uses me until you know my devotion to you.

[8:54] My devotion is very private and personal. Many of you, the reason why I'm standing before you is not because I know much. But because I'm more devoted.

[9:05] I've determined that you won't beat me to it. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. When it comes to devotion to God. Hey! You won't beat me to it.

[9:17] But, the point I'm making here is a heart for God. David! God saw him when no one has seen him.

[9:30] No one has seen him. So, when God said, bring one of your seven sons. The eight actually. For me to anoint one as a king. His father didn't bring him.

[9:43] So, he brought all the powerful ones. The father forgot about David. The prophet said, 1 Samuel chapter 16. He said that, are these all your sons?

[9:56] Are all your young men here? Then, he said, there remains yet the youngest. And there he is, keeping sheep. And, Samuel, the prophet said to Jesse, send and bring him.

[10:09] For we will not sit down till he comes. The party will stop till you come. Yes! Listen, what God has for you is just like the Cinderella shoe.

[10:22] I think that's it. I think that's it. I think that's it. I think that's it. Feated for all, I think I'm preaching to somebody. You cannot have a heart of gratitude and devotion to God when someone takes your place.

[10:43] God takes it personal. He will clear some people off. So, when David came, as soon as he entered, God said, that's the one. Arise and anoint him.

[10:55] And he was anointed a king when the king was still reigning. Because in 1 Samuel chapter 13 verse 22, God said, I have found David.

[11:10] When God has removed Saul, he chose David. He said, a man who will do all my will. I found him. Where was he? He was in the palace. Where was he? He wasn't in the army. Where was he?

[11:21] He was at the backside of the ship, caring for sheep. No wonder when Jesus was born, the angels went to shepherds. If you love the flock of God, God will bring you to the front.

[11:34] Do you know what sheep are mainly for in those days? For sacrifices. For worship. That's why Cain, they brought something rubbish.

[11:48] Abel gave sheep. It is that sacrifice for worship. For worship. And God liked it. He said, you understand the language of devotion. You understand the language.

[11:59] So David! God said, I have chosen you. David said, me? How? God said, don't worry, you are the one. God made David a king. Then God made him a king. God made David a king.

[12:11] And then David did sacrifices to God. And David said to God, I want to build you a house. Then God told Nathan. Nathan said, go ahead.

[12:22] God said, Nathan, go to David. David said, he will build me a house. Tell him I will build him a house. When he is dead and gone, the throne will never leave his house. So Bible says, and David came and sat before God.

[12:37] I'm telling you why David, heaven has not recovered from the impact of David. David came and sat before God. Learn how to sit before God and ask God, God.

[12:50] I am not where I plan to be. I plan to be. But thank you, I'm no more where. Thank you, Lord.

[13:01] Thank you, Lord. Then David a king went and sat before the Lord and said, who am I?

[13:14] Oh, Lord. And what is my house? My family. My family is not an irreputable family. I'm not from a royal family. I'm not from a wealthy family. I'm not from a rich family. My family is funny people.

[13:27] What? And what is my house that you have brought me this far? So he said, you have done so much for me. If you choose not to do anything else, God, I can never finish saying thank you.

[13:40] You, you see his attitude. You see his attitude. Then he said, and yet, this was, yet this was a small thing in your eye. All you have done.

[13:51] God, can't you see what you have done for me? And you are complaining, God, you haven't done enough. That's the difference between you and David. Said yet.

[14:04] And you have also spoken of your servant's house for a great while to come. Is this the manner of man? Oh, oh Lord God. I might not come a person. Look, I, I did some bad stuff, you know.

[14:20] Anytime you come to God and you said, God, you've done enough. God's face will change. Listen. When you are grateful, when you are, when you tell somebody, thank you.

[14:31] Thank you. They never find you annoying. Their job finds you annoying because you don't like the job. Even cats and dogs, when you are not welcoming to dogs, they never come near you.

[14:47] Yes. The first time you saw the cat, they don't come near you. They don't come near you. And all their relatives, they don't come near you. Everything you are thankful for, you attract.

[15:06] Yes. There's no single human being who will ever say, I'm bored because you are saying thank you. They can't. They can't.

[15:17] When some people come to me and say, I just, I just want to hang around here. I want to, I know it's a way of saying, I appreciate you. Say thank you. Even when you are busy, you, they, they, they, you are stuck with them because appreciation is application for more.

[15:38] Today is the last Sunday of the year. Don't feel entitled. Because I'm supposed to be in church. Look at it. This year I've done so many, so much outreach.

[15:50] I've been fasting a lot. Hey, hey, hey. Don't, don't bring that. Learn how to come to God and tell God, God, who am I? Who am I? Sometimes I sit before him and say, I never could have made it without you.
