[0:43] When you are fasting what happens is that you are hungry and humble. God likes it when we are humble. If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.

[0:57] For as the Spirit has said. Verse 38 says that he that believes on me as the scripture and so the spirit has said. Out of way. Out of way. That's significant. That's why fasting is good. When you get your belly empty. I saw this when I was in secondary school.

[5:10] people are not ready you know i don't want to preach i'm giving a prayer topic but isaac was born because abraham got to a place where he stopped focusing on what he will get and started focusing on abibalex family because the women were all barren the bible said abraham prayed for them and god opened their homes meanwhile his wife's womb was closed can you imagine abraham was looking for prosperity so he was willing to give away his only wife who was supposed to be the mother of the isaac he was willing to give him out because he wanted prosperity until he repented and went back for his wife he wasn't ready for an isaac so sometimes when you pray and it's taking long either god is trying to draw you closer to himself to win you to himself to condition you so that nothing takes you away from him jesus christ prayed matthew 36 sorry 26 36 he said if possible let this cup come and pass but not as i will somebody say not as i will nevertheless not as i will 39 but as you will so i'm praying for this so much but god if it's not within your plan in this season of my life to give me may it be so years ago i was so desperate in the mid 2005 around 2005 2000 i was so desperate for god i said anywhere he goes to hide i will find him if i'm i'm going to love god i'll find him i am very desperate for god and it starts with the holy spirit isaiah 44 verse 3 said i go for i will pour out water on him that is thirsty and flowers on the dry ground i'll pour my spirit upon thy seed how many of us want god to do this for something it might not only even be preaching there are people in the bible god anointed to build god anointed to some of you god is going to give you creativity before i came up as i was praying i saw you know when you come into a meeting that's where you notice what the meeting is yet for so sometimes coming to the meeting and i could smell flavor of anointings say anointings he spoke to elijah in first kings chapter chapter 19. elijah said they've killed all your prophets i'm the only one left god said go when you go anoint jehu anoint elijah in your place anoint jehu asking and then he showed him he showed them some people to anoint chapter 19 verse 15 the lord said unto go return your way to the wilderness of damascus and when thou comest anoint hazel to be king over syria jehu the son of nimshi shall thou anoint to be king over israel and elijah son of shaphat of abel melola shall thou anoint to be prophet in your stead in your room i've appointed somebody to take over your job that's what god i've appointed somebody to take over your job so he said anoint this one anoint this one anoint this one anoint this one that tells you there are different types of anointings some was anointed to be a king the other one was anointed to be prophet so there are different types of anointings look at isaiah 44 verse 3 again for our poor let's already allow let's go

[21:35] right i will be exalted among the nations i'll be exalted in the earth because of you god is going to use your situation to get his name exalted and the the last verse is that the lord of did you see the thing has appeared again did you see it has appeared again do you see emmanuel there again have you seen emmanuel again have you seen emmanuel again have you seen emmanuel again the lord of hosts is with us the god of jacob another one again refugees drives are refugees in the house in the spirits if there's a form to fill in the spirits your status refugee you're taking refuge in god where does all the testimony start from there is a river listen if you are not desperate for the holy spirit your life is going to miss out some important things many years ago i was studying and i came up with a statement i said wow this deep that my hunger for god is my biggest breakthrough in life my hunger for god your thirst and hunger for god is your biggest opportunity in life because that drives you into a place where you can be stranded in life it drives you into a place where whatever you need for what you are doing is supplied god is a supplier supplier who is on time the goods come on time they don't snow cannot even stop the goods from arriving you want to pray god give me a hunger for you if you are standing here one of the greatest blessings that can happen in your life is to pray and ask god for a test for him don't take it lightly listen that became my greatest blessing in ministry i was always hungry for god all i want is god that's what better revival i have a great hunger not for revival but for god what i'm looking for is not revival what i'm looking for is god one day i went away for a retreat when you go for a retreat it's like you cut away everything phone off everything it's just you your bible and god and i'm praying i was praying and when you go for retreat that's where you deal with things that are bothering you you need god one day i was praying praying praying i prayed for anything god bless your church build the church i got to a time the only thing i started praying for is the holy spirit and then i said something that really changed my life i said god i don't want gifts don't show me revelations you know when you are praying and you go deep you see revelations you you god begin to reveal things to you i said i don't need any of that i was so hungry i said holy spirit i just need the holy spirit i need you holy spirit i was so desperate for the holy spirit i was so desperate for the holy spirit i don't want anything i don't want a gift of the spirit i don't want anointing for now to this moment i just want you my heart was so sold out and then that was rather when i started seeing deeper things greater things then i asked god i'm not looking for i just need you he said you can't see me i'm a spirit he says that when the wind blows you can't tell where it's coming from where it's going but you can see the effect john chapter 3 from verse you can see the effect in the same way when you are very thirsty and hungry for the holy spirit that is what you actually need in life it's it becomes like a channel that's opening your life
