Hallelujah! And thank you for tuning into this message by David Entry at Caris Church.! As we journey in this season of great awakening, may God pour fresh life into you through His Word and align you more deeply with His purpose.
Acts chapter 26, Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand and answered for himself.
I think myself happy, King Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee, touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews, especially because I know thee to be an expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews.
Wherefore, I beseech thee to hear me patiently. My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first amongst my own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews, which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify that after the most strictest sect of our religion, I lived a Pharisee.
And now I stand and I'm judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers, unto which promise our twelve tribes instantly serving God, dearer night hope to come.
For which hope's sake, King Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews? Why should it be taught a thing incredible with you that God should raise the dead?
I verily taught with myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth, which things I also did in Jerusalem. And many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests.
And when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. And I punished them oft in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme. And being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
Whereupon, as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from their chief priests, at midday, O King Agrippa, I saw in the way a light from heaven above the brightness of the sun shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
And when we were all falling to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me saying, In the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
It is hard for thee to kick against the priests. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecuted. But rise and stand on thy feet, for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness, both of the things which thou hast seen, and of the things in the which I will appear unto you, delivering thee from the people and from the Gentiles unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Whereupon, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision, but she'll face unto them of Damascus and Jerusalem and throughout all the coast of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God and do works meet for repentance.
For these causes, the Jews caught me in the temple and went about to kill me. Having therefore obtained help of God, I continued unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those things that the prophets and Moses did say should come, that Christ should suffer and that should be the faith that should rise from the dead and should show light unto the people and to the Gentiles.
And as he thus speak for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside yourself much learning that makes thee mad.
But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus, but I speak forth words of truth and soberness. For the king knoweth of these things before whom I also speak freely.
For I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him, for these things were not done in a corner. King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know thou believest.
Then Agrippa said unto Paul, almost thou persuaded me to be a Christian. Paul said, I would to God that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost and altogether such as I am, except these bones.
And when he had thus spoken, the king arose, and the governor and bernice, and they thus sat with them. And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man does nothing worthy of death or of bones.
Then Agrippa said unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty if he had not appealed unto Caesar. Here ends the reading of God's word.
Amen. Isn't it all sweet? Even just the reading alone is so amazing. But as we already know, King Agrippa shows up in Caesarea to come and greet or welcome the new governor, who has been posted to that region, which was the normal custom for diplomats to do.
And so when he went and in their discussions, the governor said to him, There's a case I'm dealing with, and I'm supposed to send a prisoner to Caesar.
But it's unreasonable for me to send a prisoner to Caesar without stating his offense. But to be honest, after sitting in judgment and hearing the case, this man is innocent.
So I don't know what to write. I don't have anything to write. And yet I have to send him because he has appealed to Caesar. So since you are familiar with the Jewish custom and everything, I'm new in this territory.
I would love for you to hear him help me. King said, Oh, don't worry. I'll gladly do that. Bring him down when we are ready. And I'll listen to him and I'll tell you his offense, what he should write.
So they bring Paul on the day where the king and Venice come appear in pomp and pageantry. And they came and sat in session. And Paul was invited.
And the king said to Paul, Paul, you are free to speak for yourself. Paul was thinking, Really? Really? Because I'm called for this.
And that's why I'm here. I'm actually supposed to be going to Rome. But I had to pass through Jerusalem because I care about the kind of state of the church and the doctrine. That's why I went through Jerusalem.
But I'm actually going through Rome. But since you brought yourself, let me address all of you. And then so he told them that my custom from when I was a child, the people knew I lived amongst them.
And he went on to say something very provocative and very true and strong. He said, Amongst my people, I live according to the strictest sect. We are so strict. That's my lifestyle.
We don't bend corners. We do justice to the law of God. And we don't compromise. And it's not like I backslided. I lived it to its logical conclusion.
So when it comes to this new move called Nazarene sect of Christianity, I actually took it upon myself.
Because of my convictions of my religion, I took it upon myself to harass them, persecute them. You know, then I noticed there are stuff here, he said, which didn't appear in the narratives of Acts.
He said that I also did this in Jerusalem. Look at verse 9. Verse 9. Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus.
As an extension of my religious practices. I'm a strict Pharisee. And I won't bend corners. I don't care who suffers and who doesn't. I care how I please God.
So I took it upon myself to do many things contrary. But you know, it was never said the things he did. The many things we don't know what they are. Contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
Then he said, this I also did in Jerusalem. What we saw in Jerusalem that he oversaw the execution of Stephen. We didn't see much contrary things. And then he caused havoc to the church and everybody scattered.
But to the, as to the details of the things this gentleman did. We don't know. He, in his submission and in his own testimony.
And as a witness at court. He said, I did many things in Jerusalem. I did in Jerusalem. And many of the saints, I shut them up in prison. We didn't hear about that.
He shut them up. Many. He said, no one. There are a lot of Christians who were put in prison by Paul. This guy was very powerful. I shut them in prison.
And then he received authority from the chief priests. To do all these things. So he had the liberty to cause havoc. Ransom the church. He will spy on the people when they are meeting.
He will go and stand behind their doors. Or their meeting place. And you will hear, Lord Jesus. Ah, they are here. Because that's how he used to identify the believers.
When they gather, there's one thing. If they don't do anything. One thing they will all do. They called on the name of the Lord. Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus. That's why when he got born again.
He himself, when he met Jesus. In Acts chapter 9. He said, Ananias said about him. That he has authority to go around. To bind all those who call on your name.
So he looks for people who are calling on his name. And so when Ananias appeared to him. In Acts chapter 22. I think verse 16. He said, what are you waiting for? Now you are one of us.
Be baptized. Get up and be baptized. Call him. Put you on it. Chapter 22. Is it verse 16. He says that. Now, why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized.
Wash away your sins. Now join us. Let's do it. So he was looking for people who were calling on his name. And he would be arresting them and beating them.
And so he received authority from the chief priests. And then when they were put to death. Not only Stephen. They imprisoned many. And executed many.
That's why he shouldn't have been a Christian. Thunder from God should have struck him. Yeah. He wasn't qualified to be a Christian.
He wasn't qualified. He fought too many Christians and they lost their lives. And now he rather is preaching and living. That's why kind of the Jews were feeding into something that a charge that was against Paul by virtue of his history.
He wasn't fit to live. He wasn't fit to live. The things that you spoke against. Now you are advocating. You kill people for it. You must also die for it then.
He wasn't fit to live. But in first Timothy chapter one. Verse 15. Verse 13. 14. 15. Actually you can choose to tap from verse 12. Whilst he was doing that.
Look at how God saw him in the verse 12. Now he said I thank Jesus my Lord. Who enabled me because he counted me faithful. Putting me in the ministry. When he was doing that God said this guy is faithful.
Faithful to who? To any cause he lives for. Because it's required of a steward. To be found faithful.
In Christianity it's not what you do that gives you your rating. It's your faithfulness that gives you your rating. Well done. Faithful.
So it's not the largeness. The scoreboard of God is not determined by the number of books a person has written. The number of crowd a person has preached to. How many billboards or posters his picture is on.
How many views he has on YouTube. That is not determined. God's scoreboard is not determined by those things. God's scoreboard is determined by how faithful you have been to that he gave you.
He who is faithful to that which is least. So faithfulness in the least can make you more qualified to receive more from God than someone who has much and is still not faithful to the much.
So someone's 10% let's say he's given 10,000 units to work with. And he's been faithful 5% of the 10,000. I know you are thinking what that would be.
What would that be? 500. Right? Or it's not 500? It's not 500? 5% of 10,000. 5% of 10,000. Minister, you don't know. Okay.
It's 5%. Okay. So 5% of what he has done, he's been given. He's faithful 5%. That means his accomplishment will be what? 500 out of 10,000.
And somebody has been given 200. Okay. Or 500 to work with. Let's say he's a 200 to work with. And he's, that person is 80% faithful.
80% faithful. Which gives you 160. Am I right? So he's 160 units versus 500. In human terms, the 500 has done more.
But before God, the 160 has done more. Because God measures, God's measuring standard is faithfulness. So he counted me faithful, putting me in the ministry.
Verse 13. And he said, although I was formerly, keyword, formerly. I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, an insolent man.
I think the King James uses an injurious person. One of the translations. An injurious. He's causing injury. When he meets you, you'll be injured. You know there are people like that in church.
When they befriend you, your concentration and your faithfulness will be injured. So you realize that since you befriended them, you are injured. You are injured.
Your commitment has been injured. Your dedication has been vandalized. Sometimes a pastor, they are telling people, when I realize, ah, this guy has befriended this one.
Hmm, funeral service must start. Because, Bible said of that halalot, nobody goes past a house and lives a life.
Sometimes, as a serious Christian, check your resume. Check your history.
How many people have befriended you and they have downgraded their commitment or they backslided? There are some people in churches who almost every key people who backslided became their friend before.
Almost every person who leaves their church was their friend, but they are still there. Just think, just think. Since that lady befriended you, you've injured their work.
Sometimes I realize that a person can even be a pastor, but it can be injurious to the work of God in a local church. Injurious. Am I not speaking the truth?
Some of you check, you used to be on fire until you started having phone conversations with this person.
Or Osi Masi. It's a, it's Greek. It's Greek and Latin combined.
Yeah. Paul said I was an injurious person. I was an injurious person. But I obtained mercy. Because I did it not intentionally.
What shows that you're not intentional on doing it is when you are corrected, you hear. You hear and you abort mission.
You change course. But you hear, you keep hearing, keep hearing, and you are not changing course. You are not doing it ignorantly. You are doing it judasfully.
It's a word. It's a word. It's a word. That's a better word. Judash. Hallelujah. So let's get back to the text.
I persecuted our son in Jesus. Look at the next verse. That is even more serious. It says that, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ was exceedingly abandoned with faith and love which was in Christ Jesus.
Now in the verse 15, it said, this is a faithful saying, worthy of all acceptance, that Christ came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. That's a statement of humility, of whom I am chief.
So Paul was causing so much havoc. This was his testimony. He spoke about his testimony about four times in different parts of scripture. So he said, I did all that.
Let's go back to the foundational text. Verse 11 said, I punish them often in every synagogue. We didn't hear these details in every synagogue. I punish them often and compel them to blaspheme.
Wow. I actually made some say things they knew they shouldn't say. That's an injurious person. I compelled them to blaspheme. I said, Jesus is no more Lord. I said, all this church thing is fake, it's fake, it's fake.
But deep in their heart, they knew the opposite was true. But they were forced because of their alliance, because of their association, to now also go toward this line.
Paul said, I compelled them to blaspheme. And being exceedingly mad against them. That's how far the guy, nothing would satisfy the guy.
I persecuted them even to strange cities. I don't even know the cities, but I would go there because I heard Christians are there. People I don't know are doing negative stream YouTube comments.
I don't even know them. I don't know whether they are thieves, they are demon possessed, they are satanists. But the fact that they are speaking against this part, let me even go and listen. I'm interested.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think this is making sense. I just, you are operating with strange cities. This one, Paul, before Christ.
But some people, this one is Eddie, after Christ. It's to strange cities. The next verse. Whereupon, as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests.
Not only one person. Priests, the chief, all of them. I had their backing. I was going to the city. At midday oak in Agrippa, I saw in the way, what?
The light. I can't hear, what? The light. The light. The light. My goodness. I saw a light. This is not natural light. From heaven. Remember the way the church was born?
A sun came from heaven. Paul was converted by a light coming from heaven. I saw a light from heaven. Above the brightness midday. Noonday. The sun is brightest at noonday.
It's above the brightness of the sun. Noonday went blind. His eyes never fully. It looks like. Yes. Above the brightness of the sun.
Shining around about. And interest is like the spotlight. It was just around me. This light was just the people who are going with me. Yeah.
Anytime you join somebody. When a blessing is coming, you will be partaker. If judgment is coming, you will be partaker. If curses are coming, you will be partaker. You don't have to do what they did.
But once you are part of their team. Paul said, those who are journey with me, the light was around all of us. Wow. And when we were all falling, so it wasn't only him.
We were all falling to the earth. I heard a voice speaking to me saying, in the Hebrew. It was very specific. Hebrew. Serious. Shaul.
Shaul. In the Hebrew tongue. Why do you persecute me? And I said, who are you? He said, I'm Jesus who you are persecuting. And then the story continues in verse 16.
He said, this is where his commission started. Rise up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared unto thee for this purpose. You are in church for this purpose.
Who knows if I have come into the kingdom for such a time as this. You are in church. You are in Christ for this purpose.
Not your purpose. God's purpose. And the rest of your Christian life, you should be asking, God, let me know the purpose for which you saved me. Not just to go to heaven because if that was the case, as soon as you are saved, he zaps you into heaven.
No. He saved you for a purpose. Tell somebody, saved for a purpose. Saved for a purpose. Tell another person, saved for a purpose. He received commission from the chief priests, but heaven has a purpose for him.
It's invalidated the commission he has received. The purpose of God trumps every certificate. I know people who have studied to the highest level in their PhDs and they started and God called them.
I know people who are politicians. It's not the best to leave preaching and become politician. It's not the best, but sometimes maybe some people are called. Because being a pastor and preaching is their highest goal.
It's the highest goal. For me to stand as an MP or prime minister, I've demoted myself. No. There are people who are called medical doctors or who are qualified medical doctors.
Qualified whatever. And God has called them to abandon that cause entirely to be dedicated to the cause of God. There are people who are top businessmen. People who are like Count Zeng Zengdorf.
He was a prince. He walked away from the throne and all that. And sponsored missions and traveled himself. The call of God. Watch this.
Ministry is not a profession to choose. It's a calling to answer. Ministry is not a profession to choose.
It's a calling to answer. So, he says that I answered the call. And he said, I've appeared to you for this purpose. To, what's the purpose there?
To make you, ah. To make you a minister. He said, if we call you a minister. He said, seriously. You're operating the level of Paul. To make you a minister.
He said, I've appeared to you for this purpose. To make you a minister. A minister and a witness. This is interesting. A minister. And let's all say a minister.
A minister. And a witness. A minister is someone who is serving issue. So, when you go to the restaurant. The way you order your food. When they bring you. They are ministering to you. But they are ministering chicken.
They are ministering according to the menu. You understand that. What you order. So, that's all. A minister is someone who serves with something. You must have something to serve. And when you are minister of Christ.
It's obvious. Minister of what? Christ. What do you have to serve? Christ. You serve Christ. Only one item on the menu. Christ.
When we come to church. I don't have to know a lot about football. I don't have to know a lot about politics. It's fine if I do. It's good. I mean, it's nice.
It's nice. I don't have to know a lot about fashion. About which loss. I don't have to know a lot even about music. Okay. But there's one thing if you're a minister you should know.
A lot about Christ. Amen. You must know a lot about Christ. As a minister. And when we say minister. We are not only talking about ministers who have the title as minister.
But anyone who is born again. And cares to serve your generation with Christ. So, he said, I've appeared to make you a minister. And not just a minister. And a witness.
A witness. A witness. A witness is different from a testifier. A testifier have to speak. To say what he has seen.
A witness is not only speaking. It's life. It's life. It's a testimony. It's a testament. A testament to a cause. So, when he appeared before King Agrippa and them.
He wasn't preaching Jesus. He was witnessing. His life was a witness. So, Jesus said, now that you have witnessed before me. Witnessed to me. Before this.
Now you are moving on to somewhere else. His living was his message. So, he says, I've appeared to you. To make you a minister and a witness. Both of the things which you have seen.
And the things which I'm here to reveal to you. The weekly. The next. And not just that. So, you are going to be a witness. And I, God, will deliver you from the Jewish people. As well as from the Gentiles.
To whom I send you. I'm sending you to people I have to deliver you from. Because the people you are meant to help. Who want to kill you. That's the nature of ministry. So, if you focus on people's behavior. You will not fulfill your assignment. Because the people who need you most.
Are the ones who are likely to want to kill you. Why would they do that? Because the next verse tells us. To open their eyes. Because it's not their fault. And they are holding this machete. They will think you are a stick. Or the timber. To open their eyes. In order to turn them. The reason why you are opening their eyes.
To what? To what? Because the people who need you most. Because the people who need you most. Are the ones who are likely to want to kill you. Why would they do that? Because the next verse tells us. To open their eyes. Because it's not their fault. They can't see.
And they are holding this machete. They will think you are a stick. Oh, the timber. To open their eyes. their eyes in order to turn them.
The reason why you are opening their eyes is to turn them from darkness to what? Light. From darkness to? Light. At midday, I saw light from heaven.
There's some light matter in this matter. He said, I'm sending you to open their eyes so that you would turn them from darkness.
That means all humanity is in darkness. Both Jews and Gentiles. Jews are in darkness as well as the Gentiles.
So Saul, what you were doing against me, it was because you were in darkness. But now I'm sending you to go and turn people to God or open their eyes so you can turn them from darkness to light.
But that's not just that. The state of the unsaved is also from the power of Satan. Satan. Satan, gotcha. If you are not born again. If you are not in Christ.
Watch this. Not just that. From the power of Satan. Anybody who is not born again, you are under the power of Satan. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter your education. It doesn't matter your political stand.
It doesn't matter which football team you support. It doesn't matter how much money you have. You are actually under the... I'm telling you. That they may receive forgiveness of sins.
That's the baseline of Christianity. The baseline of Christianity is that people receive forgiveness of sins. And an inheritance among those who are...
As soon as you are sanctified by faith, you have an inheritance. So when you become a Christian, two best things you have. Forgiveness of sins and an inheritance.
What do you inherit? Sorry. Not money. Sorry. Not material possession. Every Christian has inherited something.
It's not like you are going to inherit later. You have inherited already. Once you become a Christian. It's baseline Christianity. Baseline Christianity is forgiveness of sins. And an inheritance among the saints.
So in Ephesians chapter 1. He said, I pray for you. That you will be given the spirit of wisdom, revelation, and understanding of him. That the eyes of your understanding be enlightened. That you may know what is the hope of his calling.
And then the second thing you will know. What is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. When you are born again, there is hope. It's called the blessed hope.
The blessed hope. The blessed hope. And not just hope. There is also an inheritance you have come into. And the third thing that you must know. Baseline of Christianity.
You've also. The power of God is working towards you. So what's the inheritance? God himself. God himself. God.
Tell someone. God is my inheritance. God. God is my inheritance. So he says that. To receive forgiveness and inheritance. Then he says.
This is what Jesus told him. When Jesus met him. So I've called you. I'm saving you for a purpose. One. That you'll be a minister. And a witness.
Of the things you have seen. And the things I'm here to reveal to you. And I'll deliver you from the people I'm going to send you to. To open their eyes. To turn them from darkness to light. From the power of Satan.
To God. That they may receive forgiveness of sins. And inheritance amongst the saints. Those who are sanctified by faith. That's why I've called you. Then he said.
Oh. Kenagrafer. I couldn't be disobedient. I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision. It didn't say heavenly doctrine. He didn't say heavenly teachings.
It's a vision. Paul wrote 14 epistles. In the New Testament. All those 14 epistles. Were chained out from this singular statement.
He received heavenly vision. He's seen things. And so the things he was sharing. Were given to him. In Galatians. He says that. The things that I'm teaching. No man taught me.
I wasn't taught by man. But it was given to me by revelation. It was given to me. By revelation. The things that I teach. Was given to me. By revelation.
Galatians chapter 1. Verse 11. But I make known to you brethren. That the gospel which was preached by me. Is not according to man. For I neither received it from man.
Nor was it taught me. I didn't go for school to be taught this thing. It came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Jesus was revealed to me. And when Jesus was revealed to me. Deeper in details. I began to understand what this whole thing is about.
So he says that I was not disobedient. Oh King Agrippa. How? No. After. It just. It was reasoning. With all what. People know. This is not anything new.
How would I be disobedient to this heavenly vision? I was not. But what did I do? I said. But I declare first to those at Damascus. That's where it happened. And in Jerusalem.
And throughout all the regions of Judea. And then to the Gentiles. That they should repent. Turn to God. And do works befitting repentance. If you have repented.
Your works will show. I thank God. He said he was preaching to both great as well. Look at the next verse. For this reason. For this reason. What can I do?
This reason. The Jews. Seize me. In the temple. And try to kill me. Right away you realize. But that's nonsense. Why would they want to do that? Why would they want to do that?
Sometimes it's easy to criticize somebody from afar. Till you listen to them. You listen to them and realize that. But this guy is not wrong actually. This guy is not wrong. Sometimes we judge others with our heads.
And judge ourselves with our hearts. Paul spoke. He definitely spoke. When he finished. He said. So they tried to kill me.
But he said. Having obtained help from God. That Greek word translated help. Is alliance. It's like God became my ally. He said.
Paul let's go. I'm doing this together with you. Yeah. That Greek word translated help there means alliance from God. Having obtained alliance from God. To this day.
Happening. Yeah. Yeah. God becomes my ally. Yeah. That's my ally. Yeah. That's it. That's my ally. And so I stand here testifying to small and great like you.
Testify. Because God is the one behind this whole thing. I would have died long time ago. But when they tried to kill me. My ally stepped in. Hallelujah.
Attesting. Nothing. Nothing beyond what the prophets. You would have thought you said. What he said. I should say. He didn't say that.
He said. What I'm saying is nothing different from what the prophets have been saying. That's why last week I said Christianity is not just 2,000 years old. It is as long as Adam.
Because it's one mission. One God. One mission. He's been working progressively through the ages. So he said. What I'm saying is not different from Moses and the prophets said.
Jesus himself said to them when he resurrected. In Luke chapter 24. Verse 26. And then verse 27. Look at verse 26. He said. Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to have entered.
Look at verse 27. He said. And beginning of Moses and all the prophets. He expounded to them. The things in the scripture that are concerned him. So. It's not new. What Paul was talking about is not just based on the vision he had yesterday.
It feeds into ancient days. What has been happening. Now look at how he put it. He said. That's. Then he gave the details of what Moses was talking. Can you imagine? He said.
He preached Moses. He says that. Moses and the prophets preached that Christ should suffer. That he will be the first to rise from the dead. I know. A theological question.
But there were other people who rose from the dead. Those were resuscitations. Technically. It's resuscitation. Because they died again. Resurrection is he rose never to die again. And he was the first from the dead.
First. So. Moses spoke about it. The prophets spoke about it. That Christ should be the first to rise from the dead. After he suffered. And will proclaim. Life.
Do you see that word again? Do you see that word? In the beginning was the word. And the word was with God. And the word was God. All things were made by him. Without him was nothing made that was made. In him was life.
And the life was the. Verse four. Was the light of man. The light shines in darkness. And darkness. First John chapter one. Verse five. God is light.
First John one five. This is the message which we have heard from him. And declare to you that. God is light. That. God is light. I can't hear you. God is light.
One more time. God is light. In John chapter one. Verse nine. He says that. He is the true light. That lighteneth every man. Coming into the world.
In John chapter three. Verse 19. Light has come. Light has come. Into the world. But. That light has come to the world.
And men love darkness. Rather than light. Why? Because there are deeds. Verse 20 and 21. There are deeds were evil. For everyone possessing evil is the light. And does not come to the light.
Lest his deeds be exposed. But he who does the truth. Comes to. He said I am the light. I am the light. I've come into the world. As the light.
The light of the world. In John chapter eight. Verse 12. He said that. Jesus spoke. He said I am the light. Of the world. He who follows me.
Shall not walk in darkness. But. Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah. My God. That's right. John chapter nine. Verse five. I love this. Oh. Let's go together.
Yeah. I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world. One more time. I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world. Then Jesus told the Jews.
In John chapter 12. Verse 35 and verse 36. As long as you have the light. Walk in it. Because very soon. He says that. Then Jesus said to them. A little longer. The light is with you.
Walk while you have the light. Lest darkness overcome you. He who walks in darkness. Does not know. The next verse. While you are old.
While you have the light. Believe in the light. That you may become. Ah ha ha ha ha ha. In James chapter one. Verse 17. All good. And perfect gift.
Come from above. The father of. How about first John chapter two. Verse eight. Again. A new commandment.
I write to you. Which thing is true. In him. And you. Because the darkness. Is passing away. And the true light. Is already. The true light. Is already shining.
The true light. Is already shining. I like this. God is not just light. But according to first Timothy. Chapter six. Verse 16. My God. That's too strong.
He lives in an. Unapproachable light. Ah ha ha. You can't come here. The sun. No human being is able. To go near the sun. God's own is wilder.
He lives in an. Unapproachable light. Now this God. Who is light. We preach him. As light. The gospel. Is the gospel.
Of light. Second Corinthians. Chapter four. Verse four. And verse six. It says that. In whose mind. The God.
Of this world. Has blinded. Who do not believe. Lest the. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Lest the light. Of the gospel. Of the glory. Of Christ. Who is the image of God.
Should shine upon them. Verse six. For it is God. Who commanded. Light to shine. Out of darkness. Who has shone in our hearts. Light.
Now does it make sense. To turn them from darkness. Or cannot be for. At noonday. I saw a light. From heaven. Ah. As he preached this.
Festus. Being Roman. Knowing Paul was a scholar. He screamed. Paul. Paul. You are beside yourself. You have learned too much.
Now. You've gone past the limits. Paul said. I'm not mad. But I'm speaking words. Of truth. And soberness. The gospel. Is the word. Of truth.
And soberness. Words of truth. And soberness. The church has got it. The world. I've not got it. University cities. I've not got it. It's the only church. That I've got.
The words of truth. And soberness. If you don't do church. I can't guarantee. How your marriage will turn out. Because looking at your history. Looking at your father's behavior.
A bigger maturistic version. Is about to show up in your life. Looking at your mother. Looking at your family history. And track record. I cannot guarantee.
That your marriage. Will be peaceful. I cannot guarantee. That your health. Will be secure. I cannot guarantee. That your children. Will do it. But there's only one thing. I can guarantee. That the gospel.
Is the words of truth. And soberness. Doesn't matter. What happens to you. Don't run away. From church. Stay around.
Words of truth. And soberness. It's comprehensive insurance. He said. First of all. I'm not mad. The king himself knows it.
Because. He said. For the king. Before who I'm speaking freely. He knows this thing. For I'm convinced. That none of these things. Escape. His attention. Since.
They were not done in corner. Listen. Nothing. Christianity. Is private. That revelation. That God gave you. To just you. Is demons. Demons.
In a cave. No. No. No. I learned something. About two years ago. That really taught me.
Something. A great man of God. Was teaching. He said. When lockdown came. It has forced. The church. To come out. Of the closet. Because the nature.
Of Christian church service. Should be. In the open. So who skeptics. Adgnostics. Enemies can see us. And can scrutinize us.
Because we don't have anything to hide. So online streaming. Is actually. Good. In the sense that. If you are preaching. Rubbish. It's easy for you to be.
It is. None of these things. Were done in that. Why are you building. This relationship in darkness. In the corner. And you say. It's God. It's God.
You have built. Some friendships. In church. But it's in darkness. It's in the corner. Privacy. Mode. Privacy mode. Activated.
Incognito. Incognito. God. You don't have the blessing. Of God on it. None of these things. Were done in the corner. None of these things. When it comes to the church. Jesus is crucified.
Everything is in the open. You can scrutinize it. That's why. The church is never afraid. For our book. To be scrutinized. Sit online. Sit on TV. Be anywhere. And challenge it.
It can stand the test of time. How about the other books. We don't know. We don't know. None of these things. We have done in the corner. And then he said. The king himself knows it.
Then he turned to Kinnadiba. Kinnadiba. Do you believe the prophets? I know you do. I know you do. I know you do. You can't run away. You can't run away from the truth.
Of the facts I'm talking about. Then Kinnadiba said. With so little. You almost wanted to make me a Christian. Paul said. No, no. Not just you. But I want that everybody around you.
Will become like me. Without the chains. Hallelujah. That everybody.
That's my mission. That everybody will come to know Jesus. As we are knowing him. As we are knowing him. I was teaching somewhere some time ago. And I was saying that.
God didn't necessarily call us. To bring people to Christ. Our mandate is not to bring people to Christ. Treatable. Our mandate is to bring Christ to people.
Some will receive him. Some will not receive him. God will not reward you. For how many people you brought to Christ. He will reward you. For how many people you brought Christ to. You can preach to 100 people.
And only one person will receive Christ. But God will reward you. And someone can preach to 10 people. And 9 of them will receive Christ. You have more reward. Than the one who received. And I.
Words of truth and soberness. Can Agrippa do you believe? He said. You want to make me a Christian? And so when the guy was put pinned to the wall. The king.
He ended the session. When the king rises. Session has ended. So he stood up. Got up. And everybody got up with him. And left. And they went to have this cause. This guy has done nothing wrong.
Can Agrippa. I can hear him telling the first. First. Who first? No. They can't release him. Because he has appealed to Caesar. So now he has given first a problem.
First a thought king could help him. But king said. Sorry me. This one is above my jurisdiction. You have to go and find out something you can write. Because this guy is very innocent.
No charge. Words of truth and soberness. Did you receive something? Hallelujah.
