Jesus loves me, this I know, For the Bible tells me so, Little ones to give me hope, They are weak, but He is strong.

Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, All my Lord tells me so.

Jesus loves me, He who died, Heaven takes to hope and life, He will wash away my sins, Let His little child come in,

Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, The Bible tells me so, Yeah, Jesus loves me, That is, Jesus loves me, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, He will quam, Amen.

This heart of mine, make it pure and holy thine.

Thou hast bled and died for me. I will dance or live for thee.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.

Yes, Jesus loves me. The love of friend and lover is often sweetly sung.

That's why I'm singing of God's love so rich and free.

He is not on earth of an equal worth.

Oh, his love beyond the campaign. There is no greater love than that of Christ above.

That made him stooped to become a man.

And by his death provide redemption's plan. There is no greater love.

That's why I'm singing of God's love so rich and free.

Revealed at memory. There is no greater love.

If he had died for angels, our seraphim on high. We could understand.

We could understand. But amazed we stand that for sinners lost, he'd die.

There is no greater love. There is no greater love. Than that of Christ above.

That made him stooped to earth become a man. And by his death provide redemption's plan.

There is no greater love. That's why I'm singing of God's love.

God's love so rich and free. Revealed at memory.

There is no greater love.

The phrase for the series of study is found in Ephesians chapter 5.

Understanding what the will of the Lord is. What the will of the Lord is.

And in the last 18 months, we come this evening to the subject in the paragraph. Of what is the will of the Lord for a believing husband. Now, it's a very common subject nowadays.

In my reading this week, I came across the statement which I cannot prove. And in the last 18 months, there have been 140 new books written from a biblical standpoint on the subject of husbands, wives, and marriage.

That is probably true. That certainly highlights the attractiveness of the subject. And yet I wonder if it also doesn't highlight some of the problems that are being faced in this day and age.

I'd remind you in this paragraph that Paul has said to the believers for a fifth time in regards to their conduct, he has brought up the subject of your walk.

I will not take time to review. But to draw your attention to verse 15. Where he says that believers are to walk accurately.

And then with that statement as a basis. He reminds us in the verses that follow that first of all, to walk accurately means to buy up the time and the opportunities you have so that you will not lose something that may be your last chance to do.

And with that, we come to our phrase in verse 17. The accurate walk not only means redeeming the time, but it means understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Now, it has nothing to do with service for God. It has nothing to do with life's dedication. From this point on, he deals with the will of God for every believer.

And of course, it's simple. For the first part or the first tenet of the will of God for every believer is verse 18.

To be filled with the Holy Spirit. It doesn't just say men are to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It doesn't say just preachers or missionaries or full-time servants for the Lord are to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

He is talking to the ordinary Christian saved by grace. Having taught them three chapters of doctrine, he teaches them three chapters of practice.

And having given them the last step on the ladder of walk, he says you are to walk accurately and to buy up the opportunities you have to walk accurately lest it's your last chance. Then you are to understand what the will of the Lord is.

And he begins by saying, be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Holy Spirit. That doesn't just include adults, that includes boys and girls.

For if they can know to accept Christ and biblically follow the work of accepting Christ, then they ought to be able to be responsible for what God expects them and as they're taught. Now, he goes from there to give us the results of a Spirit-filled life.

And for the moment, there is no argument with the epistle. In fact, the same thing is found in Colossians 3 about being filled with the Word of God. The first two verses we readily accept.

We call it helpfulness. We call it happiness. And we call verse 20 thankfulness. If you want to know if you're filled with the Holy Spirit, let me ask you, are you help happy?

Number two, are you a helpful Christian? Number three, are you a thankful Christian? That's the manifestation of being filled with the Holy Spirit, which is the will of God for every believer who wants to walk accurately.

Isn't it amazing how simple the Bible is? But then, because our reference Bible has all these paragraphs and these headliners in them, we get mixed up and forget that there is a fourth result of the filling of the Holy Spirit.

And that result is submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of the Lord. In other words, submission is the fourth result of being filled with the Holy Spirit, which causes you to walk accurately.

God is a God of order. And as we've laid these tenets before you, we've tried to show you that the Bible is based on order.

And because of the fact the rest of the paragraph to chapter 6, verse 11, dealing with the accurate walk and the will of God and the filling of the Holy Spirit is so important.

It is important because it refers to the Lord Jesus Christ no less than 14 times. And therefore, the biblical illustration of submission is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Five times in the book of John, he says, I come not to do my will, but the will of him that set me. I do always those things which pleased him.

Now, from verse 22 on, Paul breaks down the order of submission, not one, two, three, four, but a parallel situation. I'm not going to teach you wives anymore.

I'm just leaving it lay for a moment. I'm tacking it from the standpoint that the six categories which follow are first and foremost to believers. What is the will of God for a spirit-filled, believing wife?

And the answer is submitting yourself unto your own husband as unto the Lord. You destroy the order which God gives here between husbands and wife, and you destroy the teaching of Christ and the saint.

For always there is the reference back to Christ and his church. Kindly notice there are no resolutions or conditions.

I have heard all the phrases. A wife says, well, if my husband would be right, I'd be submissive. It doesn't say anything about that. And I'd remind you ladies that it just says flat out.

If you are a believing wife filled with the Holy Spirit, one of the proofs that you are filled with the Holy Spirit will be biblical submission to your own husband. And I gave you five things last week, ladies, that we compared what Paul and the other writers say about believing wives especially in what they show of the Lord Jesus Christ, how the believer is to answer to Christ.

One of them is the believer is subject to Christ, right? That's what you have in Ephesians 5. In verse 33, you have the believing wife showing reverence to the husband.

And so Jesus Christ expects you and I as believers to reverence him. In Colossians chapter 3, the phrase is, Wife, submit yourself unto your own husband as it is fit in the Lord.

I said to you, that's the word becoming. It's the word for attractiveness. And therefore, the believer is expected to make Christ attractive.

Then, of course, we went to Peter for complimentary references and we ended up in Titus, where Titus, Paul writes to Titus that the older women are to teach the younger women to love their husbands.

Christ expects believers to love him. And the last tenet that he says is, the wives are to obey their husbands.

Five things you find that the wife is reminded of, which is a picture of the believer to Christ. Submission, reverence, attractiveness, love, and obedience.

No believing wife can be filled with the Holy Spirit or claimed to be without the practice of biblical submission.

Now, come to verse 25 tonight. And always because we feel pressured, we want to hurry. Sunday school teachers do this, pastors do this and say, Well, to get myself right, I've got to cover so many verses tonight and so many verses next Sunday.

And I've got to be at a certain place at a certain time. I'm afraid I can't do that. And have you noticed that as he breaks down the submission part of the filling of the Holy Spirit, he says to husbands, husbands, love your wife.

Now, kindly remember something from last week. The head of every believing man is Christ. 1 Corinthians 11.4 Where does the submission of the believing husband come in?

It comes in the submission that Christ is his head. You can see what an atrocity you get when a believing woman tries to bypass her husband.

You then get more than a one-headed body. And that is not biblically possible. For he says, the head of the believing man is Christ.

And the head of the woman is the man. And the head of Christ is God. Now, it's interesting to me that he writes more to the husband by the Holy Spirit about the position of the husband in regards to the filling of the Spirit than he does in any other category.

It is also interesting to me that this is the only paragraph written to husbands that analyzes the biblical concept of marriage.

He never mentioned that to the wife. For you know the paragraph as well as I do. Why did he reiterate?

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife. And they too shall be one flesh. He didn't say that to the wife. He said that to the believing man for the moment.

Because always the key to a biblical marriage is the man. It is the man who is to cleave.

And of course, if you've been through these situations, you understand that from a human analyzation, this is always the untruth.

Normally, if you get a marriage that's in trouble, even between two believers, if it even gets to the place where it shouldn't have been a problem of separation, the husband makes the demand and the dear little woman comes crawling back to keep the marriage together.

Totally unbiblical. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife.

And say the wife cleaves to the husband. The very word itself demands that God write it that way. What is a husband? Well, of course, you know, it's a house band.

That's the old word, right? Some of you get packages. They don't use steel anymore. They use plastic. You know, we get packages plastic with plastic bands around it. You've seen it, but it's very interesting.

That's the exact word. Some of you have been in shipping, have steel bags, abandoned things. That's the band that holds it together. The purpose of that band is to keep it from falling apart.

That's the exact word for husband. He is the band that keeps that house together. And I would remind you, most wives are husbands when it comes to keeping a house together.

That's biblically wrong. It is the house band. It is the house band. I'd ask you men to go home and see of your husbands.

If you are the house band, it's the husband that keeps those kids coming to church. It's the husband that binds that family together spiritually. Not only is there the band, that band supports that which is inside of it so it doesn't fall apart.

That's a husband. I'm interested in this word and most of you know I like words. I just encourage you kids that hate language in high school. It'll come out alright.

I detested language in high school. I hated English. That's why I can't talk it. I can't write it to begin with. But I have become enamored with words.

It's a very interesting thing about the word that is used for husband in the New Testament. It's a word which is translated quite often in another form.

Sir. And across my mind runs a phrase. Do you as a believing husband have the privilege of being called Sir?

That's the Greek word. Sir. In fact, there is a root word from Ger called Gerizo, which is the word for manliness.

It is the root word of a band and a support. I would remind you that most of the time the Holy Spirit giving to us the living word of God writes contrary to public opinion.

And he does in this case. Now. If you and I as believing husbands and I use that term if you're a visitor, not because it's in the word of God, but that's the way I'm attacking it.

I showed you believing wives last week that if you have an unbelieving husband, you still have to be subject to them unless the word of God is blasphemed. That's what Peter writes. That's what Peter writes. What is the accurate walk of a believing husband?

Well, the accurate walk of a believing husband is to be filled with the Holy Spirit, right? Now, how do I prove that a believing husband is filled with the Holy Spirit?

Number one, he's got to be happy. Some of you guys are in trouble already. You're always miserable. Number two, he's got to be helpful. That sort of pulls the rug out from under your feet. You never do nothing at home.

Number three, he's got to be thankful. The biggest gripers in the world are men. Totally contrary to the word of God.

But the fourth thing, fellas, is what he's talking about. For a believing man to be filled with the Holy Spirit, he has to submit to the word of God and to Christ as the head.

And the world will never see Christ and the believer unless you reveal him in your married life.

And this is why it's so important that believing husbands and wives live according to the word of God. Because if a believing wife does not submit, respect, attract, love, and obey, we do not have to the world the illustration of the believer who obeys and submits and attracts the Lord Jesus Christ.

And if a believing husband, filled with the Holy Spirit, does not love his wife, the world will never see the illustration of the sacrificial, persevering, constant, tender love of Jesus Christ for the Lord.

That's what my Bible says. Now look what it says in verse 25. Husbands, love your wife.

The proof that you're filled with the Holy Spirit, believing man, is that you love your wife. The proof that you as a Christian man are walking accurately is that you love your wife.

The husband is the model of Christ loving the church. Now that's not natural for the natural man. In fact, that is probably not totally natural for the believing man.

Now all of you, I don't know why this word has come up three times today. It came up in my Sunday school class, it came up in the morning service, and it's coming up tonight, the word love. All of you are students.

Three words for love in the New Testament, right? One is erotic love. That's the sensual love that we hear so much about. One is the Philadelphia love, the brotherly love, the love of feeling is how we normally identify that.

The other is the word which we see on some mottos and some plaques, the agape situation. The love of reasoning, or the reasonable love.

Now let me draw attention to you something that I mentioned in my Sunday school class. I am convinced that the reason that this verse is here and is attached to the filling of the Holy Spirit is a necessity because it's a gift of the Holy Spirit.

You remember last week when we were reading from Titus chapter 2 and it says that... Beautiful word. You, dear ladies, love by feeling.

That's right. And that's exactly what Paul wrote. Even Peter used this when the Lord said to him, Peter, do you love me? And he came back, yeah, I feel love toward you.

Remember that phrase? That's not wrong. I will remind you of something. The accurate, filled with the Spirit walk of a believing husband is a love which is unnatural.

Now, of course, we turn to 1 Corinthians 13. And we see why. The filling of the Holy Spirit to the believing man is the reasonable love or the highest love of the Holy Spirit's gift.

And I'm interested in this. Maybe we won't be able to finish it tonight. My attack on this lesson is three ways, man. Number one, from the love standpoint. Number two, from the illustrative standpoint of Ephesians 5.

And number three, from the practical standpoint of the four things that believing husbands are to do for believing wives. And I assume that's three lessons. I can't do it in one.

All of you are familiar with 1 Corinthians 13. May I remind you tonight, if you would take this chapter, men, and put it after Ephesians 5, the command of believing husbands filled with the Holy Spirit, you'll have exactly what God expects of you as a believing husband.

And again, totally contrary to men. I'm interested in this. Please look. I'm not arguing the gifts of the Spirit.

I am saying to you that here is a gift of the Spirit. I'm not arguing whether you believe in tongues, healings, prophecies, or anything else. He did say there's something better than those. It is tied to the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And he actually says in Ephesians 5, husbands, I want you to have the highest love for your husbands, even as or in like manner as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it.

That is the first tenet of a husband's love. Giving. It doesn't say, husband, you can be filled with the Holy Spirit and love your wife if she submits to you.

There are no conditions. If there are those conditions which are written in some of the hundred and forty new books. In fact, if you have Barnes notes on the Bible, he is totally wrong in that passage.

He has re-translated Ephesians 5 to his own benefit of saying that if a believing wife submits to a believing husband, then a believing husband should love her. But if a believing wife does not submit, he doesn't have to love her.

That's biblically wrong. If that is true, when you don't submit to Jesus Christ as the head, he stops loving you. And that's not true, is it?

This is what he says. So we are immediately thrown believing men, believing husbands, or talking to, about the fact of how many believing husbands are honestly ever filled with the Holy Spirit.

Now let me do what I just said Barnes did, which I shouldn't have done. Okay. Look at verse 1 of chapter 13.

Speaking to believers. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not love, I am become a sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. In other words, I as a believing man, a believing husband, can say the right things to my wife.

And without love, it's empty words. In other words, a believing man can talk right and not be right with his believing wife.

Because he does not have the reasonable love that God demands of a spirit-filled husband. Go to verse 2.

Though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, I can be a spiritual giant. That's what he says.

That's what he says. And have not love, and I am nothing. I wish I had kept track of the times.

That believing wives have said to me, Pastor, he's a man of great faith, but he doesn't know anything about love. He's a paradox. I can say the right things.

I can have the right word. I can even have the gifts of the ability to do that. And if I have not love towards that believing wife, I am nothing more than a gonging cymbal.

I'm empty. And I can brag about my faith, and how I move mountains, and how I pray, and if I do not love that wife as a spirit-filled believer, I'm nothing.

I go to the third. I go to the third. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, in other words, I'm a generous Christian.

I give the shirt off my back for anybody. I will not give the shirt off my back for anybody. But if I have not love, the highest reasonable love, it's not even going to gain me a spot in the Book of God's recording.

I will ask you something, men, when you read Ephesians 5, which says to you, walk after it. And redeem the opportunity you have right now, lest it's your last chance.

And understand what the will of the Lord is for a believing husband that is to be filled with the Holy Spirit, which makes him a happy, helpful, thankful, submissive to Christ, the head Christian.

Then the first place it comes out has to be towards the last. And not towards the fact that you can open the Word of God, and not open the fact that you can sing like the angels.

And they don't sing, I forgot that. And I don't care if you have faith to move mountains and send a hundred missionaries to the field.

If you are not practicing the Spirit-filled life of loving that wife first, you are not worth it. Now the strange thing is, after taking this three bents, which we never turn to a believing husband, we always put it in what we call the gift of the Spirit.

The best gift is the gift of reasonable, intelligent, high, godly love. Now, I remind you of something. God never used that word towards women.

He only used it towards men. And it's just the opposite of human nature. It seems like believing women can have the reasonable love of God better than believing men. Now, from there on, as you read 1 Corinthians 13, he lists 16 characteristics of this kind of love.

Are you ready to read? It gets to be funny pretty soon. What are the 16 characteristics of a believing Spirit-filled husband towards his wife?

Well, of course, you already know what the illustration is going to be of the one command. Husband, love your wife, even as Christ loved the church and gave. You know, men are the most selfish creatures I've ever seen.

Apart from being Spirit-filled, we are.

And every characteristic list of a Spirit-filled believer is the direct opposite of many, or maybe most, believing men. Let's start reading. What are the characteristics?

Number one. The godly, intelligent, reasonable, high love of God is patient. Hmm.

With whom? Husband, be patient with your wife, because you are filled with the Holy Spirit, which presents you.

With godly love. Now, I am aware that women are naturally exasperating. Isn't it strange he starts here?

The godly, Spirit-filled man is patient. The word also is forbearing a couple of times in your Bible. Your King James Version says, suffers long.

Men are the worst sufferers I've ever seen in my life. They get a toenail ache and they've got to go to the hospital. That's right. Look at the second characteristic.

One word. Kind. If I took all the kids here tonight. No, we have intelligent kids in this church. We really do.

In fact, sometimes they're too intelligent. The conversations I get in with them are really bad. You know. They know more theology than most adults will ever know. But if you take all of our intelligent kids tonight and say, Which of your two parents is the kindest?

What would they answer me? Hmm? Mom. That's biblically wrong. It should be dead.

Why? Because father looks to Christ. The believing husband looks to Christ who is the head. And Christ is always patient and kind.

Look at the third one. The believing husband who practices spirit-filled love is never jealous. Where have you been? You're supposed to be home at six o'clock and it's six oh five.

That's true. Love never boasts. The word is, vaunteth not. Vain glorious.

But in simple language, it's not both. If most believing men had to get rid of the times they tell their wives how good they are and how much they do for them, they'd have very little vocabulary.

Or the fifth one. I like the revised translation better. Remember, love is never arrogant. It's not puffed up.

It's a word which is close to anger or inflammation. Some of you men are sitting back and saying, Pastor, this is an impossibility.

Then Paul wrote a lie. The Holy Spirit wrote a command which was a figment of his imagination. Husband, love with the intelligent, reasonable, divine love of God towards the church. Your wife. It's not easy. It's not easy. husband love with the intelligent reasonable divine love of god towards the church that is not easy that's face facts that is most difficult it's hard to love a person that's unlovely sometimes it's hard to love a person who is exasperating it's hard to love a person whose personality has changed from the day you married her when god says that's no excuse the key to a marriage is the husband not the wife look at verse five doth not behave itself unseemly in other words it never acts improperly never i answered the question that was asked in my class this morning what does a believing wife do when a husband does not allow her to serve the lord in the position she would like or some areas because of other things i'd remind you you got a believing husband problem in regard to love there are times i say to my wife i think seriously you know you may have too many irons in a fire but i do not dare to say to her you can't do it because i have no right to say to her if i love her with a godly love a spirit-filled love i am more of god than god is and he's giving you too many opportunities and you better listen to me and not to god this is the love that he's characterizing that has to be the spirit-filled christian it does not act in property there is even respect for the believing wife when you are alone in fact you ought to act in public exactly as you act when you're alone you should not be a two-faced couple does christ act differently to you when private than he does in public no the word of god works both ways the same thing now he may quietly speak to you differently but he uses the same word i must read fast the seventh characteristic is seek it not sell oh boy some of you dear believing husbands wouldn't be near so fat if you didn't demand that your wife cook for you the way you want to cook which is purely unsensible never never never seeks self never so you don't put the lord first what's he do he just stands back and wait

does it you don't give him first place in your life what's he do jump on you no he just stands back and wait he never seeks himself the holy spirit never seeks himself either he always seeks christ so when the holy spirit fills the believing husband with the divine love of god he's going to turn that love towards christ and in order to do that that love towards that wife has to exalt christ because he's the head and that wife submits herself to that loving husband and therefore she submits to christ and you got a beautiful obedient circle between the two which shows the world what christ and the believer has he goes on is not quickly irritated i am glad paul wrote it that way because it said sometime you might be but it isn't at the drop of a hat husband husband are the world's greatest powders yes they are there is the the silent treatment the wife says what's the matter and he said nothing nothing oh okay forget it then there are times that god gets irritated when you let the money changers run through your spiritual temple the body he becomes angry and a believing husband who manifests love to this point who has a wife that is only interested in material things and getting has a right to be irritated then a wife sent across the desk from me and say well he never gives me any money of my own i said maybe he doesn't have any he's paying for the washer and the dryer and the stove and the dresses and the junk you bought well she said i needed them no wonder the poor guy didn't have any money he had a right to be irritated you see an obedient wife says we have some needs and a husband who loves says fine i will not be selfish i'll give you whatever you need and he is not when he is spirit filled with love easily irritated that's maturity go a little further he thinketh no evil how many of you believing husbands accuse your wife there are some what it really says is the love of a believing husband based on the filling of the holy spirit never supposes evil within his wife never does god trust you yes he does he trusts you implicitly sometimes we can't be trusted as his saints look at verse c does not rejoice in unrighteousness a husband becomes sorrowful when a believing wife acts contrary to the word of god but rejoices when she acts according to the word of god in truth

now look at something in verse 7 i've used this verse hundreds of times the spirit-filled love of believing husband for a believing wife bears all things interesting i'm not enamored with norman vincent peel certainly he's an intellect he writes well sometimes not totally biblical but you read his answers sometimes and they're interesting if you read the answer to the husband he gave to a wife he said the husband said to dr peel i just can't get along with that woman she's a changed personality she yells she screams she does everything else and of course he was trying to say to him there has to be humor in each marriage and so he suggested that he tried to be kind and gentle so the next time she was ranting and raving she got he got out of paper and pencil and she started to write very quietly well that just irritated her to no end you know and finally she over got the paper and he had written she yells but i still love her she irritates but she's still my wife and you know something he won the battle spirit-filled husband not only is the word here bears the word is concealed the word is covers the word is bears with all things that's what it says i would never tell you how bad my wife is i'm serious you know why because if i'm spirit-filled and lover i conceal those things which should not be known and god remind you most men who bring things out in the open about their wife are just trying to feed their own ego to get back at it and when we get to ephesians you're going to see everything you do you do towards yourself because you're one person somebody says to me pastor i want a wife that i'm proud of then make her that way for the lord said that he might sanctify and wash it by the water of her word that he might present it to himself why do you think god is still loving you in jesus christ because he wants you to present it to himself that's the picture of the husband the spirit-filled love of a believing husband bears all things he believes or be persuades or he gives credit he has confidence or in all things he hopes all things he has some expectation he remains constant and bears up under anything that's the word endures did you ever notice what the next verse says love never fails i'd like to retranslate it love never stops now drop down with me you know the rest of this paragraph paul writes when i was a child i speak as a child i understood as a child i thought as a child i acted without the full knowledge of spirit-filled love infants work on feeling

children work on feelings no it's not what he's talking about a spirit-filled accurately walking believing husband works on the highest type of reasonable divine love that's what paul is going to say in the rest of the verse but when i became a man a godly husband i did away with all the infant things getting my own way buying what i want to buy pouting because things don't go the way i want them to go trying to be critical in order to win my point and just saying to a wife i don't need you if christ said that to you and me tonight we'd be sunk and when a believing husband does not walk accurately he sinks a wife and now abideth these three faith hope and love can be a man of faith and be an unbiblical husband you can be a man of hope and be an unbiblical husband but the greatest of these is love and it's a husband's responsibility and without it you cannot be filled with the holy spirit and conversely being filled with the holy spirit you'll have it heavenly father the word of god is before us tonight very simple trying with all the effort of the power of satan to be snatched away from men because they don't want to appear to be different from the world for we know that the world says manliness is to be independent and harsh critical selfish proving and god says to be manly is to be able to be called sir we know not how to close but we do believe that the holy spirit takes the word of god to expectant lives and by his divine power turns us to jesus christ and makes us willing to submit to the head of every believing man so tonight gracious god if we are willing to be changed do it and we pray most of all that believing husbands will forget what they say and their so-called spiritual tone and their generosity with others and look and see where they stand with the command of an accurate walk filled with the holy spirit loving

with godly love their wife our heads are bowed our eyes are closed will you stand right where you are with your head bowed with your head bowed and your eyes closed the organ will just give me an e-flat chord i would like to have us sing quietly have thine own way lord have thine own way you don't need your book thou art the potter i am the clay mold me and make me after thy will while i am waiting yielded and still i'm aware you ladies tonight could sit and relax but are you a submissive wife are you a respecting wife are you making your husband attractive do you love him with feeling are you obedient husband i've just introduced you to that line in ephesians tonight there's a couple of other lessons that have to go with it if the holy spirit moves your heart to do something about it you're going to feel foolish and hot dear believing wife if your husband starts changing don't make fun of them for that's what some wives do they say what are you trying to prove now every marriage of believers here tonight can be happy if the husband follows the word of god i have no open invitation just going to sing the first verse of this little song and that's the benediction for tonight
