[0:00] Let us now read from the first book of Kings.
[0:30] In chapter 18 and at verse 36, we are going to read into part of chapter 19. First book of Kings, chapter 18, at verse 36, I am reading into part of chapter 19.
[0:50] And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, that I have done all these things at thy word.
[1:18] Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, that thou hast turned their heart back again.
[1:29] Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
[1:43] And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces, and they said, The Lord, he is the God.
[1:55] The Lord, he is the God. And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal, let not one of them escape.
[2:07] And they took them, and Elijah brought them down to the brook of Kishon, and slew them there. And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink, for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
[2:21] So Ahab went up to eat and to drink, and Elijah went up to the top of Karna. He cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees.
[2:36] And he said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up and looked, and said, There is nothing.
[2:47] And he said, Go again seven times. It came to pass at the seventh time that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea like a man's hand.
[3:01] And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain.
[3:21] And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel, and the hand of the Lord was on Elijah, and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
[3:33] And Ahab told Jezreel all that Elijah had done, and with all how he had slain, all the prophets with the sword.
[3:45] Then Jezreel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also. If I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow, about this time.
[4:00] And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.
[4:15] But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, came and sat down under a juniper tree. And he requested for himself that he might die, and said, It is enough now.
[4:31] O Lord, take away my life, for I am not better than my fathers. Thus he lay and slept under a juniper tree. Behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
[4:45] And he looked, and behold, there was a cake, bacon on the coals, and a cruise of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
[4:59] And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for thee.
[5:13] Amen. And may God bless to us that reading from his truth. Let us continue singing in the same psalm, Psalm 42, and at verse 9.
[5:29] Psalm 42, at verse 9. O, why art thou cast down, my soul?
[6:03] Why thus with grief oppressed art thou disquieted in me? In God still hope and rest.
[6:15] For yet I know I shall embrace who graciously to me. The health is of my countenance.
[6:25] Yea, mine own God is he. Let us sing these verses. And I will say to God, my rock, why me forgetst thou soul?
[6:39] Why for my force of head on, that thou will be the Lord, and I will say to God, my rock, why me forgetst thou soul?
[6:58] Why for my force of head on, that thou will be the Lord, and I will say to God, my rock, why me forgetst thou soul? Thus for me to thy hope.
[7:14] Tis thou hast art within my hope, when thy hope be loved in, when thy hope be loved in.
[7:31] In when thy home, when thy home... If the need to be loved in.
[7:47] Oh, why are they, God, and my soul?
[7:58] Why are they, O friends? I'm glad this, why are they in me?
[8:16] In the still of our rest For yet I know I shall have been Who may not be to thee The helpless of my kind and now Yet I know all is here Let us now turn to the first book of Kings, chapter 19 I'm reading at verse 4 But he himself, that is Elijah Went a day's journey into the wilderness
[9:18] And came and sat down under a juniper tree And he requested for himself that he might die And said, it is enough now Oh, Lord, take away my life For I am not better than my fathers And I'd like to take us our text today It's a kind of smallish tree It might be better translated under a broom tree It's a kind of smallish tree Maybe like a tall shrub
[10:21] And I'd like to reflect with you First of all, who is under a broom tree?
[10:32] And the answer that we get is A prophet of God Secondly, what is it set before us?
[10:43] And it sets before us A picture of dejection And thirdly, we learn something Of pastoral concern and exercise So prophet of God So prophet of God A picture of dejection Pastoral concern and exercise Now I'm sure everyone here Is familiar with the life story Of this prophet Elijah Elijah And when you follow his earlier life As it is set before us And incidentally, when he was born And who his parents were Is not told I don't think you would have anticipated Finding him dejected, despondent and forlorn
[11:44] Under a broom tree Because when we are first introduced To this man in the Bible He is presented to us As a man of action A man of vigor And if he were being reported In the current media The headlines might be About this man A fiery prophet Confronts the government The prophet of the living God God challenges Bale worship And so on These are the kind of headlines You might find written about him He comes across as a bold person God spokesman A bright shining light In a climate of spiritual darkness A courageous figure Unafraid of confronting authority A person who trusted in the providential provision Of almighty God You remember
[12:46] He was obedient to the divine instruction To go to the brook Kareth Where there was a water supply And he would be fed by ravens A man who still trusted the Lord to provide When the effect of the drought Caused the brook to dry up Then he was instructed to go to Sarah To be fed in the house of a widow And on arrival you remember He is told all that she has Is a handful of flour in a jar Little oil in a jug And yet for the duration of his stay Despite apparently How apparently limited This food supply was We read the jar of flour was not spent Neither did the jug of oil become empty According to the word of the Lord And whilst he was there He was instrumental under the hand of God Ingrid storing to life The son of the widow So here is a zealous man Unafraid to rebuke sin
[13:49] To speak out against it A critic of the direction That Israel as a nation Was pursuing spiritually A man who courageously stood alone On the top of Mount Carmel And challenged the people of Israel How long will you go limping Between two different opinions A man whom we know Frequented the throne of grace A man who had the mind of God He prayed fervently That it might not rain And for three years and six months It didn't rain Then he prayed again And heaven gave rain And earth bore its fruit He prayed for the glory of the Lord To be revealed And the hearts of the people To be turned back to their God A man who persevered in prayer Seven times he prayed That rain would fall in Israel So who was under the broom tree?
[14:48] A man of God A spiritual giant A humble spiritual giant I think it is true of all spiritual giants That they are characterized By a measure of humility And the last verse of chapter 18 That we read together today Would suggest this He The hand of the Lord was on Elijah He girded up his loins And ran before Eub To the entrance of Jezreel Now that was a distance of about 18 miles And he ran He ran in front of a horse-drawn chariot And you have to ask yourself Why was this information given by the Reuter?
[15:44] Was this man of God? Was he some kind of athlete? Along with everything else that was true of him Well, I don't know the answer to that If he was an athlete Certainly he gives the impression Of being supremely fit Was the horse a broken down hack?
[16:05] I hardly think so Given that it was drawing the chariot of the king Of the king So why are we given this information by the writer? Well, I believe there are two reasons we could submit By running ahead of the king's chariot He is indicating that he is subservient to the king He runs ahead like a footman It was the practice of footmen To run ahead of the king's chariot As a method of heralding The approach of the king And so here is this prophet of God The zealous man Identifying himself As a servant of the king A man who was zealous for the king of kings And therefore showed respect To the king of Israel
[17:06] He is fulfilling a principle That is emphasized in the New Testament Born servants obey in everything Those who are your earthly masters Not by way of eye service as people pleasers But with sincerity of heart Fearing the Lord Whatever you do Work heartily as for the Lord For the Lord and not for men Knowing that from the Lord You will receive the inheritance as your reward You are serving the Lord Christ And again you find this in the New Testament Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities We may not like those who are in positions of power But it is our duty to be submissive as long as the directives Do not directly cut across the word of God So although this man was bold and zealous
[18:06] He was humble Humble before God But bold and standing on the side of God in the world And the second reason that I would suggest Is that it may be thought That it may be that he thought That it was the beginning of a new dawn The prophets of Baal had been decimated They had been put to the sword The people had acknowledged Lying prostrated on the top of Mount Carmel That the Lord he is God That was a huge step in the right direction God had answered by fire And then he answered by sending rain And it may be that Elijah thought Surely the kingdom of God has come in power The king and queen will know That God is the Lord And they will worship the living and the true God
[19:09] Sadly That's not how things panned out Because back in the palace Queen Jezebel was probably thinking That Baal was victorious When she saw the rain And when Ahab returned Soaked by the rain Why would you think that?
[19:35] Because Baal In their eyes Was the God of rain And the queen's expectations Were severely dashed As Ahab related to her The slaughter Of the prophets of Baal This queen was not used To being on the losing side And she didn't like it There was no new dawn Elijah had to learn As we all do That every victory Is but preparation For the next hurdle On the journey Have you learned that?
[20:22] Every victory Every victory Is but preparation For the next hurdle On the journey Who was under the broom tree? And the answer is A one time fearless champion A prophet A prophet of God Secondly It sets before us A picture of dejection What a forlorn Dejected figure Is set before us Under the broom tree And that prompts the question Why does the Bible Paint this image for us?
[21:00] You know we are told At the beginning of chapter 19 About the account that Ahab gave To Queen Jezebel Of what took place On Mount Carmel Ahab told Jezebel All that Elijah Had done And how he had And with all How he had slain Or killed all the prophets With the sword Now what is wrong With that account?
[21:33] Because in my view It has a glaring omission There is a very important factor Left out from the account That Ahab gives Ahab gives an edited Unedited Jaundiced version Of what took place He told Jezebel All that Elijah Had done And although Ahab Was present On the top Of Mount Carmel Do you notice He is very silent About what God Had done That is the most Important part of all What God had done He doesn't tell How the fire Of the Lord Fell And consumed The burnt sacrifice And the wood And the stones And the dust And leaked up The water house
[22:34] And the trench There is no indication That he told Queen Jezebel About the profession Or the acknowledgement Of the people That God is the Lord His account focuses Solely on what Elijah did And not on what God did On what God did And what God did Is far more important Than what Elijah did But even his edited account Fuels the fires Of incandescent rage In the heart of Queen Jezebel She sends a message Messenger to Elijah With a message So let the gods do to me And more also If I make not Thy life is the life Of one of them By tomorrow About this time She is threatening Elijah with death There is something Very sinister And very evil About this Queen Jezebel So we read When he saw that He arose And went for his life And came to Bathsheba
[23:35] Which belongeth to Judah And left his servant there Now here is a man Now here is a man Whom the Bible Sets before us Fearlessly confronting The prophets of Baal Fearlessly challenging The government But now he runs for his life And as long as he keeps running He cannot deal with the issue Instead of meeting the threat He runs And I think that is always true If we run from something Then we will never be able to deal with it Matthew Hendry poses the question Shall we praise Elijah for this?
[24:30] And he answers his own question With these words We praise him not And so you have to ask yourself Where was the courage With which this man Had lately confronted King Ahab And all the prophets of Baal?
[24:47] And Henry makes this astute observance Great faith is not always alike strong Sudden fear overcomes his faith And he is not alone in that In the Bible Remember when Peter wanted to walk On the Sea of Galilee When he saw Christ coming towards the boat And the Bible tells us When he saw the wind And the waves He was afraid To hear we are told that Elijah ran for his life You know a person can run A very long way When they are running for their life This man ran a distance Of ninety miles All the way to Beersheba
[25:49] It's a long distance To keep running And it perhaps tells us something About the fitness Of this prophet Why does the Bible tell us He went to Beersheba?
[26:09] Is it to give authenticity To the story? I don't believe it is Beersheba was on the edge Of the promised land The promised land went You've heard the phrase From Dan to Beersheba God had made a covenant With the people That he would bless them In the land But if they were to leave The land of promise Then they were turning their back On the promise of blessing What did Elijah do?
[26:44] We are told When he got to Beersheba He went a day's journey Into the wilderness And came and sat down Under a broom tree In other words He went beyond And past The borders of the land of promise And he sits Under a broom tree Apparently The roots of this tree Are poisonous But the wood Of the broom tree Was used for fires And in fact The psalmist speaks Of burning coals Of a broom tree In Psalm 120 It wasn't the kind of tree Where you would expect To find Great shade But under the broom tree This dejected man Offers a prayer
[27:45] He was a man of prayer Remember And his prayer Is this It is enough now Oh Lord Take away my life For I am not better Than my fathers He is asking For death To intervene And you know Isn't it strange He is one of the few people That the Bible tells us Didn't die He didn't experience Natural death He was lifted up Reflect on that He wanted natural death To intervene Now Whatever you might think Of his prayer request
[28:46] You have to acknowledge That his prayer Displays His own Therent belief In the authority Of God Over life And death And you know Elijah wasn't the first To ask the Lord For death For death to intervene Remember Moses Did also I am not able To carry all This people alone The burden Is too heavy For me If you treat me Like this Kill me at once If I find Favor in your sight That I may That I may not See my wretchedness Job Why did you bring me Out from the womb Would that I had died Before any eye Had seen me And whereas though I had not been carried From the womb To the grave Jeremiah Cursed be the day On which I was born Jonah Therefore now O Lord Please take my life From me For it is better For me to die
[29:46] Than to live So from All these examples You may Conclude That the people Of God At times Long For death And they bring Their longing For death To the Lord Because he Is the Lord Of life And at that Stage it seems To me As if Elijah Was perched On the edge Of the pit Of despair It is enough Lord As if he were Peering down Into the The dark Murky depths Of this Most discouraging Of pits But he's not in it It is enough As if to say I cannot go any further He is paralyzed And often That is what happens When we fail
[30:47] To deal with issues That threaten Our Christian existence We are paralyzed Whatever you think Of Elijah's petition One thing it does It overthrows The teaching That states If you trust In Christ Then your life Will be free Free from all Trial That's just a myth Salvation Conferred upon A sinner Does not Eliminate Suffering Affliction Or trial Perhaps Those who are Brought to saving Faith in Christ Experience Their greatest Trials After the Lord Comes Into their life Psalmist teaches us Many are the afflictions Of the righteous And afflictions Can arise In many forms Causing
[31:48] Christians To be discouraged And at times Even to be Depressed At times To be fearful At times Like Elijah Running for their lives At times Leaving their work Or abandoning Their callings It can happen And I think What the Apostle James has written In his letter Sheds light On the situation That is set Before us here Because the Apostle James writes Elijah was a man He was a man With a nature Like ours Elijah was a man A man belonging To the fallen Family of Adam A sinful man Full of failings In his own strength He was but Very feeble But with the power Of the Lord He was among The best And the bravest Of men Like the Apostle
[32:50] Paul He could say I can do all things Through him Who strengthens me Without the power Of the Lord He was powerless A complete coward He had to learn As every believer Has to learn What Christ Taught his disciples Apart from me You Can do nothing For like Every believer We have this Treasure in Chars of clay To show that The surpassing power Belongs to God And not to us And so You might say That Elijah Under the broom tree Was a little Like Samson Shorn of his hair But then You have to ask Yourself What lay behind This petition Perhaps we could say Fatigue He was Totally exhausted He had spent Much time In fervent Persevering prayer He had travelled
[33:51] Extensively On foot On the verge Of complete Physical collapse And because of that Because of extreme Tiredness You could say You could argue That that was Leaving him Vulnerable And then secondly He was in isolation He was cut off From the Community Of believers He had been Alone For up to Three years He didn't have Much Fellowship With believers Generally Over that Period And then he had Left his servant In Beersheba So depression Is not only Caused by the Absence of Community But I believe That it actually Perpetuates
[34:52] Depression And then he was Faced with Spiritual opposition Relentless Spiritual opposition And although The prophets Of Baal Were vanquished There was Queen Jezebel Who was Vehemently Opposed To everything That was Represented By the God of Israel So he had To confront Relentless Spiritual Oppression And that also Can be Very discouraging And then His emotions He had just Experienced A spiritual High He had He had The ultimate Mountaintop Experience Witnessed The mighty Acts of God And fire And And And now It's as if After The strength Of the Lord Had surged Through every Fiber of
[35:53] His being That is now Running On empty And then And then What about His Expectations The battle Was won But the war Continued Queen Jezebel Was still there A powerful Influential Figure in the Land And along With all that Was fear He was afraid And he Run for his Life It's as if Elijah Takes his Eyes Off the Lord And fixes His eyes On his Own Troubles And there Is something In addition His guilt He had Deserted His post In the Middle Of battle He had Abandoned His calling At a Crucial Moment When the Spiritual Destiny Of the Nation Was hanging In the Balance He had Failed In the One area That was His greatest Spiritual Strength Bold faith
[36:54] I am No better He says Than my Fathers And it Seems to Me that Implied In that Statement Although There is Humility In the Life Of this Man There is Just a Trace Of pride He must Have hoped Or expected To surpass His fathers No wonder He felt It was Enough Many Factors Then you Might say Contributed To a Spiritual Depression You know Spiritual Depression Is too Complex To reduce To a Simple Single Definition That I Believe is Always a Temptation Now for Some of The factors There are Remedies that Could be Applied Tiredness He could Get rest If body Was breaking Down He could Eat balanced Meals If isolated He could Mix more With Christian Friends But the Temptation When you
[37:54] Are feeling Down Is to Withdraw Under Spiritual Attack He could Pray along With others For spiritual Protection Obsessed With troubles He could Lift his Gaze To the Right Hand Of God Above And fix His eyes On Jesus If guilty He could Confess His sins To the Lord But In all Of this There is A deeper Problem He needed A saviour You know Sometimes You like To postulate Things in Your own Imagine if The bible Only went Up to First Kings Chapter Eighteen Where would You place Elijah In the History of Redemption You know You might Be persuaded To believe That Elijah Was the Promised servant God's chosen Prophet Because God Had promised I will raise Up for them
[38:54] A prophet Like you From among Their brothers I will put My word In his mouth To speak To them All that I command And Elijah Would have Appeared Like an Excellent Candidate To fulfill The promised Rule He could Shut a Rain in The heavens He could Bring Manna To people Without bread He could Raise the Dead And pray Down Glorious Fire Of God's Presence He could Turn the Hearts Of God's People Back to Their God So It Could it Be That he Was the One But he's Not He wasn't The Messiah His Depression Amounted To his Failure To be The Saviour I don't Know If he Was Comparing Himself To Moses In this Low Period In his Life Or even To David But I Think you Can
[39:54] Understand From what He says That he Understands That all Flesh Is as Grass And that He is Longing For Something That is Not Frail And Temporal But Something That is Permanent After he Had such A Marvellous Experience On the Top of The Mountain And it May be That in This Petition He Just Wants To Find God Just Like The Psalmist In the Psalm That we Were Singing Well There is Spiritual Sorrow That is Healthy Sorrow And mourning For indwelling Sin But here Is this Man And he's
[40:55] Feeling Deeply Sorry For himself A picture Of dejection A prophet Of God And finally Pastoral Concern And Exercise And I Think this Pastoral Concern Is seen In the Very Fact That we Read About his Experience If God Had not Lifted him Up from This dark And dismal Place Then we Would not Be reading About it God Demonstrates His Pastoral Concern By attending To the Prophet As a Most Knowledgeable Doctor And a Loving Shepherd This Man Prayers It is Enough But he Comes to Be taught Through the Lord's Gracious Pastoral Concern And dealings That the
[41:56] Grace of God Is more Than Enough It's More Than Enough You see In God's Pastoral Concern For the Prophets Well Being He sends An angel To minister To him And that Itself is Wonderful Isn't it Here is This Discouraged Dispirited Man of God Requiring Company Fellowship But he Doesn't Require the Company Of those Like himself Who may Also be Discouraged You know You often Find that People Who are Inclined To be Depressed And discouraged Frequently They seek The company Of those Of a Similar Mindset But you See God sent An angel To this Man Now I do Not believe That there Is such A created Being As a
[42:56] Melancholy Sorrowful Angel They are Not Discouraged Or depressed They give The glory To a A victorious God Who works All things According to The counsel Of his Own will And one Of the Duties Of being An angel Is to Minister The letter To the Hebrews Where the Author Writing of The supremacy Of Christ And he Contest Jesus With the Angels Are they Not all Ministering Spirits Sent out To serve For the Sake of Those Who are To Inherit Salvation And we Have Several Examples Of this In the Bible Daniel In the Den of Lions Peter In prison Christ In the Wilderness And in The garden Of Gethsemane Paul In the Stodom On the Journey To Rome And here We read The angel Touched Elijah It wasn't A dream God Had permitted His exhausted Servant To sleep And the Psalmist Writes He gives To his Beloved Sleep Was this
[43:57] Man loved Although he Had failed Yes I believe He was Just as Surely loved He was When he Stood in Triumph On the Top of Mount Carmel As the True Shepherd The eye Of God Follows The flock The true Shepherd Even at A natural Level Is mindful Of the Sheep That is Weak When the The Crows May be Gathering Around Or Out on The mall Where the Eagle May be Circling And here You find The great Shepherd And the Love of God Comes To strengthen This man He needed
[44:58] Rest He needed Sleep He needed Food These are the Two things That are Provided for him He hears He hears He hears From the Angel Arise And eat And you Know often When we Feel Cast down And in The situation Elijah was in Perhaps You don't Want food You experience A loss of Appetite Now that Is true Naturally When we Are ill We go Off Our Food And Spiritually That can Be true Too And the Danger is That we Turn aside From every Source Or from The means That God Has provided To feed Our souls And that We turn in On ourselves Perhaps Perhaps We stop Attending The means
[45:58] Of grace Perhaps We are Given to Bible Neglect And you Know all Of that Is Counterproductive Spiritually It will Not help Us In any Way By doing These Things We are Encouraged To Persevere In the Means Because God Has Appointed The means For our Spiritual Good And our Spiritual Growth And you Know The person Who is Cast down Says I Cannot And over And against That God Says Arise And eat Here is Divine Encouragement To the Disbanded Soul Arise And eat And there Was a
[46:59] Cake And a Cruise Of water Here is The Ministering Of the Lord And you Remember How the Psalmist How he Speaks Of God Ministering To his People When they Were weary That he Refreshed Them again And this Is how God Begins To Refresh And to Strengthen This Despondent Man of God The angel Is persistent He comes a Second time Arise And eat For the Journey Is too Great For you You don't Have the Equipment You don't Have the Resources But trust In my Resources Trust in My Provision And you Will Complete The Journey And there's Also something Else implied In other Words I still
[47:59] Have work For you It's not The end Of the Journey Elijah I've still Got work For you Arise And eat Oh when Things get Too much For us Christ Is more Than enough For us I think It was The Commentator Krumacher Who said Something like When you Come face To face With the Cross Then you No longer Complain About the Greatness Of your Sufferings For there You see Suffering That transcends All your Suffering The Just In the Place Of the Unjust Divine Love In its Fulness Christ For you Who Was under The broom Tree The prophet
[49:02] Of God What is it Set before Us A picture Of dejection But it also Sets before Us The supreme Pastoral Concern Of a loving And a gracious And an Encouraging God God You know So often We tell God How great Our Sufferings Are But have you Ever stopped To tell God Or to tell Let me put it Like this Have you ever Stopped To tell Your Sufferings How Great Your God Is Tell Your Sufferings How Great Your God Is Let us Pray Oh Eternal God We are But frail And feeble
[50:02] At best And we Are often Prove To Discouragement And despondency But you Are able To bring Uplift When there Is Discouragement You Provide Encouragement When there Is Despondency You Provide Nourishment When we Require Nourishment So that We Might Complete The Journey That Is Set Before Us Oh Help Each One Of Us To Be Nourished In Christ And The Glory Shall Be Thine In Jesus Name We Ask It Amen Let us Conclude By Singing To His Praise From Psalm 91 Psalm 91
[51:04] He That Doth In The Secret Place Of The Most High Reside Under The Shade Of Him That Is The Almighty Shall Abide I Of The Lord My God Will Say He Is My Refuge Still He Is My Fortress And My God And In Him Trust I Will Assuredly He Shall Thie Save And Give Deliverance From Subtle Foul Or Snail From The Noise And Pestilence His Feather Shall The Hide Thy Trust Under His Wings Shall Be His Faithfulness Shall Be A Shield And Buckler Unto Thee He That Doth In The Secret Place Of The Most High Beside can disease Zoe ch je have
[52:21] Offend arbace. Divine child ab Schulz.
[52:34] High on the blood my soul will stream. He is my refuge, He is my fortress, my God, and He is just a new.
[53:07] I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self to self, I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self, I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self, I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self, I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self, I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self, I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self,
[54:17] I should be who I will see, and in the hands of self, the love of God the Father, fellowship and communion of the Holy Spirit, rest on and abide with you all, now and forever. Amen.
