[0:00] Amen. Seeking the help of the God, of the Lord, let us turn to his word again and taking for our text the words that are in verse 6 of Revelation chapter 5.
[0:26] Now, John says, I think to believe with great conviction, because why did God give us this book?
[1:36] And why is it in the Bible? Why does the Lord want us to read this amazing and wonderful book that is full of so many mysteries? And when you think about the people, the first people who received this book, they were under persecution.
[1:54] They were suffering. John himself, as we know, was on the Isle of Patmos in exile. And it is meant to comfort people, the Lord's people in the time of great triumph.
[2:11] And those people who have been going through such experiences, when they have read this book, they have discovered that it has opened up for them.
[2:23] And they have been able to receive from it tremendous strength and courage and encouragement. And especially if we take these chapters, chapter 4 and chapter 5.
[2:39] And if we kind of place them side by side and think about them. And remember how chapter 4 begins.
[2:54] John, he says, To grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
[3:31] And he sees, and it may help us to think about these two chapters, when placed side by side, to think about them almost like the two testaments that we have.
[3:47] The Old Testament or the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. And you see, there are things in chapter 4 that are not in chapter 5.
[3:59] And there are definitely many things happening in chapter 5 that are not to be found in chapter 4. And in chapter 4, it is almost like coming with Moses to the foothills of Mount Sinai.
[4:15] And God descends upon that mountain and there is an earthquake and it erupts and fire comes belting out of it. And the trumpet sounds and it gets louder and louder and louder and louder and there is thunderings and there are voices and there is an earthquake and, you know, all sorts of sounds and scary sounds that are taking place.
[4:43] And God speaks. And God speaks. And God speaks. And God speaks. And it is awesome. It is majestic. It is frightening because it is the Lord who is speaking.
[4:58] It is a bit like that in chapter 4. And he is seeing a throne that was set in heaven and one that is sitting on the throne.
[5:10] And he is described like a stone, like a jasper and sardine stone. And round about the throne are these elders that seats and the elders are sitting on them.
[5:20] And they have got these white robes and they have got crowns. And from the throne are proceeding thunderings and lightnings. And these things are going on. It is a bit like the Old Testament.
[5:32] And the message is very clear. God is holy. God is infinite. God is majestic. God is beyond our comprehension.
[5:46] God is so great. And we are so small. And our minds are so small. And we cannot comprehend him like some of the Psalms. One of them we sang tonight.
[5:57] And there are these dark clouds that compasses him about. And it is impossible virtually to penetrate this area. Because God is so great.
[6:11] And he is so holy. And there are these living creatures. That are round about the throne. And there are these angelic, seraphic, and celestial beings.
[6:23] And they have got this song that is going on all the time. Day and night. In verse 8. And holy, holy, holy. Is the Lord God Almighty.
[6:35] Which was and is and is to come. And the beasts are giving him glory and thanks to him who is sitting on the throne. Who lives forever. And the elders fall down before the throne.
[6:46] And they are worshipping him. And they are singing this song of creation. Thou art worthy, O Lord. To receive glory and honor and power. For thou hast created all things.
[6:57] And for thy pleasure they are and they were created. Amazing, isn't it? There is something missing there, isn't it? Someone missing.
[7:10] And it's not until chapter 5. And that we discover that someone is found. And there is one who has prevailed.
[7:20] He has prevailed. He has been triumphant. He has overcome. And has got this victory. And he is described as the lion of the tribe of Judah.
[7:32] You see, he is not in chapter 4. And it's almost like the beginning of John's gospel. You know, John, when he begins and he is talking about the word.
[7:43] You see, the word. In the beginning was the word. And the word was with God. And the word was God. And the same was in the beginning with God. And all the things were made by him.
[7:56] And without him nothing was made that was made. And in him was life. And the life was the light of man. And then the word became flesh. You see, it's like chapter 4 and chapter 5. The word has become flesh.
[8:09] He is not there. He was there. He had always been there. He was there in the bosom of the father. He was face to face. He was with God. But now he has come. And then in chapter 5, he has returned the word that had become flesh.
[8:24] That had lived amongst men. And they have seen his glory. The glory as the only begotten of the father. And he has come and he has returned. He had gone on a journey as it were.
[8:36] And now the journey has finished. And he has come back. He has come back having prevailed. Having been victorious. Having defeated his foes.
[8:49] And it's all about grace. Isn't it? The holiness of God in chapter 4. It's all about the grace. The grace of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
[9:02] The new testament, as it were, of our Lord. Having come into this world for the salvation of sinners. And there he is. And he has come and he has prevailed.
[9:13] And he only has been found to be worthy to take this book, this scroll that is writing on it. In the inside and on the outside.
[9:24] And it is sealed with seven seals. And no one is found worthy to open, to take this book and to open it. But this person has been found. And he's identified as the lion of the tribe of Judah.
[9:37] The root of David. And he's now described in verse 6. And I beheld the saints. And low in the midst of the throne.
[9:48] You see, he wasn't there in chapter 4. But now he has come. He's come from somewhere. And where has he come from?
[9:59] Well, he's come from a place called Calvary. That's where he had come. He had gone to this mountain called Golgotha. He had been nailed to that tree. He had become a curse.
[10:13] He was made curse for us. That's where he'd been. He had been in agony. He had been in pain. He had perspired. He had received the anguish of his soul.
[10:26] He had poured out his soul as an offering for sin. He had done all these things. He's done them now. It's finished. It's finished. We've heard that already. And he has risen again.
[10:41] He's alive. And I saw. In the midst of the throne and of the four geese. And in the midst of the elders stood a lamb.
[10:52] He's alive. And he was alive. As if it had been slain. Having seven horns and seven eyes.
[11:04] Really but his regal appearance. Majestic and meekness at the same time.
[11:15] Which are the seven spirits of God. Sent forth into all the earth. Well. Therefore making these two chapters.
[11:27] And indeed the book of Revelation. Revelation. I believe. A timeless book. A message. For us today. A message for you.
[11:39] And a message for me tonight. About. The grace. Of. The Lord Jesus Christ. In the gospel. Well.
[11:49] First of all. Let's think about the. Activity. Of the lamb. You see. John identifies him as.
[12:01] The lion. Of the tribe of Judah. Well. These are to do with the. Prophecies. God's. Promises to the sons of Jacob. To Judah in particular.
[12:12] And there was this prophecy. That. The scepter shall come out of Judah. That. Judah will be a royal line. That Judah will have kings. And Judah will have throne.
[12:23] And that throne belonged to David. And is. Come from the root of David. So remember how the dynasty of David. Which was like a tree. That has flourished at one time. A very very tall tree.
[12:35] But then gradually. It was trimmed down. Cut. Into pieces. Until absolutely nothing was left for it. Only the stump was left for it. And then. Amazingly.
[12:45] And wonderfully. The root. A root. A tiny shoot. Has sprung out of this stump. One time there was nothing. And then. This root has sprung up. And it is this.
[12:57] Incarnate. Lord Jesus Christ. Who is the son of David. And he is royal. He is the royal son of David. He has come to. Take the throne.
[13:09] He has come to sit on the throne. Of the kingdom of David. And the kingdom of God. It is the king. Royal. Jesus Christ. Our Lord.
[13:19] That's who he is. And then. Not only that. He has prevailed. He rules.
[13:31] He is. The Lord. He has authority. He is in charge. And. He is also. The lamb.
[13:41] The lamb. The lamb. The lamb. The lamb. The lamb stood. As if. It had been slain.
[13:53] But the lamb stood. Standing. We were hearing this morning about. Him having finished the work. Finished.
[14:05] It is finished. Finished. And then. He is the only high priest. And indeed it is true. And wonderful. Who finished the work. And has come.
[14:17] And sat down. Into the presence of God. His father. But this is before. He sits down. He has come in.
[14:28] He has arrived. He is welcomed. He is being received. Back into glory. Being received. It is the. The entry. Like the ascension. Of the Lord Jesus Christ.
[14:39] And he has come. There he is. He has arrived. And he is the lamb. That is standing. Hang on a minute. Was he not supposed to be dead?
[14:52] Did not people leave him there? Did not people. Pour out their scorn at him. And laugh at him. And you know. Give him the teeth. Did they not do that?
[15:02] Did they not say to him. Well if you are the son of God. Why don't you come down from the cross. And save ourselves. Save yourself. And save us as well. And they had seen him.
[15:15] And they looked at him. And they despised him. They despised him. That is what they did. They rejected him. And they called for his crucifixion.
[15:27] They called for his extinction. As it were. Away with this man. We don't want him. He is not wanted.
[15:39] Let him die. Let him be crucified. That is where they left him. They left him buried. In a tomb. And sealed. And the tomb was sealed. That is where they left him.
[15:51] But now he is not. Where they had left him. Now he is not despised anymore. He is not rejected of men.
[16:02] He is a lamb. As if it had been slain. Yes. He has got the marks perhaps. Of where he has been. And what he has done. But he is a lamb. That is standing in the presence of God.
[16:14] And he has come. And he is going to be received. And he is just about to sit down. At the right hand. Of him. Who is sitting on the throne. It is Jesus Christ our Lord.
[16:27] He is alive. And do you know him? As your savior. You see as a Sikh.
[16:41] For many years. I worshipped and prayed to people. They were good people perhaps. Perhaps they feared God. Only the Lord knows.
[16:52] In their hearts. And I cannot judge them. But they were men. You see. They were just men. They came. 500 years ago. One by one. 10 of them.
[17:03] And then they died. Every one of them died. Every one of them was cremated. Finished with. Jesus alive. His alarm.
[17:16] That is standing now. Having seven horns. And seven eyes. Which are the seven spirits. He came. And took the book. Out of the right hand. Of him. That sat.
[17:27] Upon the throne. And then. He came. And sat. Down. On that throne. Alarm.
[17:40] Alarm. But why a lamb? Well we said it is Jesus. Are we sure? Are we sure? Are you sure? That it is Jesus?
[17:54] Well where does it begin? See. Let's go back. Let's go back to. John. To John the Baptist. Can you hear John the Baptist? Standing near.
[18:05] The wilderness. Beside the river Jordan. And there he is. He is preaching away. And all of a sudden. He sees someone. He is related to him. His cousin. And he sees.
[18:15] This Jesus of Nazareth. That is walking by. And John. Is pointing at this Jesus. And says. Behold. The lamb of God. Who takes away. The sin of the world.
[18:26] That's who he is. The lamb of God. Therefore he is identified. With this sacrifice. Identified with. Taking away. The sin of the world. And can you.
[18:40] And can everyone of us here. Can you say. Can. Only God can make you say it though. That it is your sins. It is him. That it was your sins.
[18:51] That had been placed on him. Not just the sins of the world. But your sins. Individually and personally. Your sins. That had been placed upon him. And.
[19:02] As the lamb of God. He is the one. And upon him they were. And he carried them away from you. And carried them in. Far. Far away. Away. They went into the wilderness.
[19:14] And the sins were removed. And banished. And the record was cleaned. And the slate had been wiped clean. Forever and ever. But can you say. And only God can help you to say that.
[19:25] That it was your sins. That were upon his head. But you see. If they are. If they were not on his head. If Jesus Christ our Lord.
[19:37] Did not carry your sins. Then they are upon you. Then they are upon your head.
[19:47] All those wrongs. And doings. All those filthy and dirty thoughts. All that rebellion. All those transgressions. That is going. Deliberately out of the way.
[19:59] Knowing that it was wrong. Knowing the difference between right and wrong. Then deliberately. In rebellion. Going out and doing those things. Against your will perhaps. Against the lights that God has spoken.
[20:12] And shown to you. And you see all those things. And many many more. And you know the Bible says sometimes. You know if we. Our sins. They are like the. The hairs. Of our heads.
[20:23] That many sins there are. But if they are not upon Jesus. And if he hasn't carried them. Then they are upon you. And if they are upon you. My dear friend. Then that is a very scary song.
[20:35] That is. You know. You need to be really troubled about that. And be bothered about that. Perhaps not even. You know. Maybe go home. And not sleep tonight. Think about that. Well if they are not upon Jesus.
[20:46] Then they are upon you. And if they are upon you. Then you are responsible. God is going to hold you responsible. And accountable. You are going to come before him. And give an account for those sins.
[20:58] And be judged of those sins. And that judgment will be a fair one. That judgment will be a just one. And that judgment will result in the condemnation of sinners.
[21:11] Who have not been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. Scary isn't it? Remember on the 6th of June.
[21:23] In 1630. I know you weren't there. In the Kirk. Kirk of shots. A young man was standing. Outside.
[21:33] In a huge big congregation. At a communion season. And he was. My uncle John Livingstone. And he was preaching. Now he was preaching. Preaching the gospel.
[21:45] He was preaching from Ezekiel chapter 36. He was preaching. And he preached. And he preached. And he preached his heart out. And he loved the gospel. And he loved the Lord. And he preached.
[21:56] And pleaded with people. To turn from their sins. And to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Nobody was moved. And after an hour and a half.
[22:09] Of preaching like that. Something very unusual happened. It was perhaps a day like this. The weather changed very quickly.
[22:21] And it started to rain. Rain started coming down. And one by one. Everybody standing outside. A huge big congregation. And they started taking their Macintoshes out.
[22:34] And started covering themselves. And their heads. To protect themselves. From the rain. And as they started doing that. John Livingstone. Had liberty at that point.
[22:46] Rain brought liberty. And he said this. Where would you go? Where would you hide? Where would you run to?
[22:58] Have you got a place to go to? If. Even one drop. One drop. Of his wrath. His judgment should fall upon you.
[23:13] Even if his one tiny weenie drop. Should fall upon you. Where will you go? And where will you hide? And where will you run to? And lo behold.
[23:23] He was given such liberty. Then he preached for another hour and a half. We are not going to do that tonight. But you see. And then it was amazing. Wonderful. And 500 people could say.
[23:36] I was there. And I came under conviction. And the Lord changed me. And the Lord convinced me. And the Lord brought me to himself. And the Lord gave to me his love.
[23:49] And showed me. Showed to me his love for me. And I ran to him. To the Calvary one. To the Lamb of God. Who takes away the sin of the world.
[24:00] If my dear friend. Jesus did not carry your sins. And when he carries them. It's amazing. Even in Psalm 103. He carries them. As far as the east is from the west.
[24:14] So far has he removed our transgressions. Our iniquities from us. If he hasn't done that. They are on your head. And may the Lord speak to you.
[24:27] And convince you. That it is the Savior you need to turn to. He's the Lamb. He's the Lamb of God. And he's so busy in this book of Revelation. It's amazing what he's doing.
[24:38] And he's taken this book. And he's opening the seals. One by one. It is this Jesus of Nazareth. Who died and who's risen. And is now the master of destiny.
[24:50] He is the King of Kings. And your destiny and my destiny. Your life. Your death. Your sitting down. Your rising. Your studies. Your education. Your marriage. Everything my dear friend.
[25:02] Is in that book that is written. And the Lord Jesus has the power and the authority. To unlock those mysteries. And to reveal to us the will of God. And he's that the Lamb.
[25:14] And you know chapter 6. And it talks about the Lamb. And then he says in chapter 6. Verse 1. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals. And I heard this is what happened. One by one.
[25:25] And at the end of chapter 6. And you know I was talking about how the wrath of God. His judgment. And you see people were running. And they were looking for a place to hide.
[25:36] And they were saying to the mountains. And to the rocks. And kings of the earth. And great men. And rich men. And chief captains. And mighty men. And every bondman. And every free man. Hid themselves in the dens.
[25:48] And the rocks of the mountains. And said to the mountains. And to the rocks. Fall on us. And hide us from the face of him. Who is sitting on the throne.
[26:00] And from the wrath of the Lamb. And he says. In chapter. 14.
[26:15] And I looked. He says. And lo the Lamb. A Lamb stood. On Mount Zion. The risen Lord Jesus Christ. As a Lamb.
[26:26] That has. Been sacrificed. For our sins. He is with his people. And with him. Was 144,000. Having. His father's name.
[26:37] Written on their foreheads. And in chapter 7. As well. And you have this picture. Of people. That have come. A multitude. After the 144,000. Were sealed.
[26:48] And a multitude. Which no man could number. Of all the nations. And kindreds. And people. Verse 7. Chapter 7. Verse 9. And tongues. Stood before the throne.
[26:59] And behold. The Lamb. Clothed in white robes. And palms in their hands. And they were crying out. With a loud voice. And they were singing. Salvation to our God. Who sits upon the throne.
[27:10] And unto the Lamb. And all these things are going on. And the Lamb. Is on the throne. And he is active. And he is active. Today.
[27:21] And do you belong to this Lamb. And then secondly. We have seen how. There is this activity going on.
[27:32] And then there is this excess. See in chapter 4. Yes. There are these 4 and 20 elders. Perhaps they represent.
[27:43] In a way. The old covenant. As I said. And the old testament church. There is. You see. No. Not that. Assembly if you like. Of people.
[27:54] Who have come. In chapter 5. And there is this excess. To God. That is to be found. In chapter 5. And here it is. And when.
[28:05] He had taken the book. In chapter 5. In verse 8. And the 4 and the 20 beasts. And the 4 beasts. And 4 and 20 elders. Fell down before the Lamb.
[28:17] Having. Every one of them. Hearts. And golden. Vials. Full of orders. That are. The prayers. Of the saints. And they sung.
[28:28] A new song. Saying. Thou art worthy. To take the book. And to open the seals. Thereof. And what is happening. Is this. It is amazing. These are of course. You know.
[28:39] Pictures from the old testament. And it is the time of worship. Old testament worship. And you see these golden bowls. That are being spoken of. And they were.
[28:50] Really carrying the incense. So the incense was in them. And they were to receive. The frankincense. Which then was. The priest took. And they put it. Upon the altar.
[29:01] That was. Burning with live coals. And as soon as. The incense. Touched the live coals. The. The. You know. There was this fragrance.
[29:12] That came. And filled the temple. And filled the. The house of God. With this aroma. And as soon as that happened. They. The.
[29:22] Just before that. You remember how. Urchim. He says in. In. The study of the old testament. And he says that. Just before.
[29:33] This would happen. The president. In the. The priest in charge. Would. Would. Give the announcement. And give the command. And say. The time of the incense.
[29:43] Had come. The time of the incense. Had come. And then. You see. At the time of the worship. The whole congregation. Would be standing. Outside. And then. They would withdraw.
[29:54] They would. You know. Move back. A few steps. And as soon as. This would happen. The. The incense. Would go on the altar. And. And. This fragrance. Would fill the place.
[30:05] Every one of them. Would. Fall down. Upon their faces. Spreading their hands out. And. Start praying. In silent praying. And there was this. Awesome sign.
[30:17] So. This solemnity. Would. Come upon the people. And they were. Pouring out their hearts. To God. And this is the picture. That's what Christ.
[30:28] Has done. And remember. How. In the old testament. Only the high priest. Could go into the holy place. And that only once a year. And then.
[30:39] In the holy place itself. The priests were there. But. Ordinary people. Were not allowed. Everyone. Had to stand outside. And then. When Jesus. Died. On the cross.
[30:51] And the curtain. Of the temple. Was torn. From the top. To the bottom. And you and I. Trusting. In the merits. Of Christ.
[31:02] Believing. Believing. That our sins. Have been. Carried away. By the lamb. Of God. Who has been slain. Before the foundation. Of the world. And that he has died. For our sins.
[31:13] And so you see. The. The shed blood. Of Christ. Opens the way. His wounds. Open the. Open the way. His stripes. Heal us. And allow us. To come.
[31:23] Into the presence. Of God. And to. Call upon God. God. And so we've got. You know. Therefore. Even at the question time. Although I wasn't present. You know. There it is. In Romans chapter 5.
[31:34] Verse 1. You see. Therefore. Being justified. By faith. We have. Peace with God. Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherein. We have this. Access.
[31:45] You see. God has given us. Access. Through this. New Testament. The new covenant. Through the death of Christ. His shed blood. His resurrection. Allows men and women.
[31:56] Sinners. It allows sinners. To come. Into the presence. Of God. And there. My dear friend. In the name. Of Jesus. We can pray.
[32:07] We can worship him. We can stand. In his holy presence. Yes. Psalm 24. Is messianic. For who shall ascend.
[32:18] To the hill of the Lord. And you may feel yourself. Worthy. Unworthy. And indeed. Indeed you are. And indeed I am. And indeed every one of us. Are unworthy. My dear friend.
[32:30] And don't you feel. My dear friend. That. The place. That we are being invited. To come by God. Is a holy place. A secret place.
[32:42] A perfect place. A place that is. Spotless. A place that is. Clean. And pure. A place. And we are going in there.
[32:54] But who are we? Who am I? And who are you? We are all sinners. And we are sinners. Yes. We are saved by grace. We are sinners. Indeed we are. And we are going into this holy place.
[33:09] And see. As we go in there. And come out. We go in there. We are like children. Aren't we? Children who have been. Perhaps. Playing out there. In the craft.
[33:21] And as they are playing. They get their clothes dirty. And their shoes dirty. And their feet dirty. And then they come into the house. You know. And you say to them. Don't you know. Wait a minute. You must clean yourself. You must leave your shoes outside.
[33:33] You can't come in. And children. Being children. They will come into the house. And then you go to your car. And they are dirty. And the mud is everywhere. And then you have to start cleaning. After them. And God's house is holy house.
[33:48] The temple. That we are entering in by faith. Is a holy temple. A holy place. And it is for this reason.
[34:00] My dear friend. He is a lamb. A lamb. A lamb. As if it had been slain. Because.
[34:12] Forever. My dear friend. That holy place. Where God is. It needs. That cleansing. That's why. Aaron himself.
[34:23] When he went to the holy place. The most holy place. Apart from. Sprinkling on the mercy seat. He sprinkled the blood. Everywhere. He sprinkled it upon himself.
[34:34] But everything that was in there. He sprinkled the blood. Because. Aaron was a sinner. And the sinner was going into the presence of God. And what was he going to do? He was going to. Make the place that was holy.
[34:47] Unholy. And unclean. And therefore the place needed cleansing. And the atonement had to be made. Not just for Aaron. But for the place itself.
[34:59] And there is a lamb. Even just now. As if it had been slain. And the blood of Jesus. Perhaps. Maybe it doesn't sound like sound theology.
[35:11] I don't know. Will continue forever. To provide cleansing. For unrighteousness. Righteousness. Because we are.
[35:22] We are sinners. And we are going to go into the presence of God. And even now. We are going into the presence of God. And there. His blood. Continues to cleanse us.
[35:34] And continues to keep the holy place. Pure and holy. And we have access to God. It is no wonderful. We have access to God.
[35:44] And we can come into this presence. Yes. Humbly. Meekly. And humility. Yes. Of course. And conscious of our unworthiness. And our littleness.
[35:55] And our feebleness. But there he is as a lamb. A lamb. Standing. And now a lamb. Sitting on the throne. And we are invited to come.
[36:07] To come. Come says the writer to the Hebrews. Let us come boldly says. Let us come with that confidence. Of those children. When they come into their homes.
[36:18] They come knowing it is their father's house. Come. Let us come boldly to the throne of grace. With simplicity and confidence. And our confidence is in God.
[36:30] And finding grace and help. To help us. In every time of need. So we got his access. And then finally. The assembly.
[36:45] Of God's people. You see in the Old Testament. Well perhaps you know. Even in chapter 4. You only got the 4 and 20 elders. But in chapter 5.
[36:56] Not just the lamb has come. He is there. And there are these 4 and 20 elders. But there is. A crowd. And they are singing.
[37:10] Yes. There are angels. There are myriads and myriads of angels. And they are singing. Thousands upon thousands. In verse 12. And they are saying. With a loud voice.
[37:21] Worthy is the lamb. That was slain. To receive. Riches. And power. And wisdom. And strength. And honor. And glory. And blessing. And then you read this. And every creature.
[37:33] Every creature. Which is in heaven. And on earth. And under the earth. And such as are in the sea. And all that are in them. And heard I say. And everyone who has been redeemed.
[37:46] And everyone who has been washed by the blood of Christ. And everyone who has been sanctified. And justified. And has been glorified. Is praising him. And worshipping him.
[37:56] And they are all together. And you have this picture again. In chapter 7. I already mentioned it. And there he says. And I beheld. In chapter 7. Verse 9. After this I beheld. And though a great multitude.
[38:08] Was there. They weren't there in chapter 4. But they are there in chapter 7. And this multitude has come. Which no man could number. And will you be there?
[38:23] And will you be there? As the person next. Sitting next to you. May be there. But what about you? Will you be there? Will you be found in this crowd.
[38:35] That couldn't be numbered. Out of every nation. And kindred. And people. And tongues. And they are standing. And they are standing. And they are standing. And they are standing. Before the throne. That's where they are. And they are standing.
[38:47] Before the Lamb. Clothed with white robes. Palms in their hands. Cried with a loud voice. Salvation to our God.
[38:59] Who sits upon the throne. And unto the Lamb. And all the angels. Round about the throne. And about the 4 and 20 elders. And they are falling down. Before their throne. On their faces.
[39:10] And they are worshipping God. Heaven is going to be a busy place. And if we are going to be there. And if I am going to be there. By the grace of God. We are going to be very busy.
[39:22] We are hardly going to have any time for each other. We are going to be worshipping him. Saying amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving.
[39:33] And honor and power and might. Be unto our God. Forever and ever. Amen. And then one of the elders asked. And who are these? He said. How did Garnam sing?
[39:44] Turn up there. Did he do some good works? Has he got his own righteousness? Has he got something that he has made up himself? Has he done some hard work?
[39:55] Has he become holy man? And turned up there? Who are these that are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? How did they get there? How are you going to get there?
[40:09] And I said. Sir. I know. And he said to me. These are they. It came out of the great tribulation. And I washed their robes.
[40:20] Washed their robes. Hallelujah. Not my righteousness. Not your righteousness. I have been washed their robes. And I have made them white.
[40:32] Not in the blood of the Lamb. The blood of the Lamb. And therefore are they before the throne of God. Serving him.
[40:43] Day and night in his temple. And he that sitteth upon the throne. Shall dwell among them. Isn't it? A wonderful gospel.
[40:56] And your privileges. My dear friend. Your privileges. You want to think about the people. Many, many people. Many places in the world. Where the gospel doesn't exist. And the gospel isn't there.
[41:08] And you have the gospel. And it is preached to you faithfully. And it is preached to you. Many, many times. With the unction and power. And the presence of God.
[41:20] Oh great are your privileges. And they are worshipping him. And they are sitting. He is sitting on the throne.
[41:31] And he shall dwell with them. And they shall hunger no more. Neither thirst any more. And neither shall the sun light upon them. Nor any heat. For the Lamb. Which is in the midst of the throne.
[41:45] Shall feed them. Shall feed them. And shall lead them. Unto the living fountain of waters. And God shall wipe away.
[41:57] All tears from their eyes. And every one of them. That Christ has died.
[42:11] Every one of them. That Christ has redeemed. Every one of them. That Christ has shed. His blood for. All that the Father. Giveth unto me.
[42:23] Shall come. Unto me. But maybe you have never come. Maybe you have never come. Maybe you have never thought about these things.
[42:34] Maybe you have never thought about turning to the Lord. And then the Lord says. Him that cometh unto me. Whoever you are my dear friend. Whosoever you are.
[42:44] Him that cometh unto me. I will never cast out. And he is waiting. And he is waiting for some of you perhaps. He has been waiting for a long long time. And he is saying.
[42:54] Him that cometh unto him. Maybe tonight you will say. I will come unto him. I will call upon the Lord. I will turn to him. I will turn away from my sins.
[43:04] I will confess to him my sins. I will cry out to him for mercy. But every one of them. That Christ. The Father has given to him. Shall be there. They will all be together.
[43:18] And are you not sad? And is your heart not sad? And are you not broken? And are you not broken? That all the divisions. Is the divisions.
[43:30] And all the schisms. And the separations. And all the things that divide us. And all the things that separates. The people of God from one another.
[43:43] Little things. And does your heart not break? Because of them. Things that tear us apart. And ruin our fellowship.
[43:53] Here on this earth. And when my dear friend is there. And God's word says. And they will all be there. And they will be there. Before the throne. And before the lamb.
[44:04] And forever and ever. They will be there. With each other. They will be there. With each other. And the lamb shall dwell. In the midst of them. Ought to be united.
[44:18] Ought to be united. Ought to be united here on this earth. With the Lord's people. The Lord's people. To be one. With. Every one of his people.
[44:29] That Christ has died for. In the early church. You see. And they were together. And all that believed. They were together. And together they cried out. And together they prayed.
[44:39] They were with one heart. And one accord. And they prayed. And the Lord. Poured out his Holy Spirit. Upon them. And when we are united. And all our divisions.
[44:50] Are behind us. And we've. Asked forgiveness of one another. The Lord. Will bless us. Will he not? O Psalm 133.
[45:02] Isn't it? How good it is. And how pleasant it is. For brethren. To dwell together in unity. To dwell together. In unity.
[45:12] It is like Aaron. And who was anointed. When he was anointed. And the oil came down. Upon his. Upon his turban. And came down. Upon his beard. And came down. Upon his garment. So that he was saturated.
[45:23] With this oil. United. And we will be united. And we will be united. With every one of his people. Will you be there.
[45:34] Will you be there. Will you be there. You see. If. Christ. Has not carried your sins.
[45:46] On the cross. And if your sins have not been. Left there on the cross. Put away. Dealt with. Paid for.
[45:56] And if you haven't been ransomed. You won't be there. You won't be there. Don't you think. Your family will get you there. Don't you think. Your minister will get you there.
[46:07] Don't you think. Your elders will get you there. They won't. They cannot. They are unable to get you there. Only Christ is able to get you there. And if you are not saved.
[46:19] You won't be there. You won't be there. You will be on the outside. You will be on the outside. And you will be separated. You will be sent away. You will be banished. Forever you will be banished.
[46:32] Into the place called hell. But oh. Now is the day of grace. You see. Now is the time. Now is the day of opportunity. To turn to the Lord.
[46:44] The day of grace. Gospel day. We don't know when it's going to end. But it's on tonight. It's on tonight. And the shepherd is here. The shepherd is here.
[46:56] And if you are those sheep. That has gone astray. And you see yourself as a sheep. That has gone astray. Jesus is calling you.
[47:06] He is calling you. Come. Come. Unto me. Come. Unto me. Oh come to the Lord. And if you have come already. And have been coming to him.
[47:17] For many many years. How good. Is the God we adore. How great is the lamb. Who is sitting on the throne. And we are going to be in his presence one day.
[47:30] And we are all going to be together. United. With him. Amen. Let us pray. Thank you. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm.
[47:41] Hmm. Thank you.
[47:59] Hmm. Hmm.
