Sunday Morning Service
[0:00] What if that had been the rapture? She is trash, yeah.
[0:32] You know, God in, God in. And, you know, we sit and we watch TV and all this trash. You can't even watch a commercial anymore.
[0:43] Amen. And, you know, my wife and I talked with that. You know, you sit there and you used to, you used to flip TV, you used to get commercials. But nowadays, commercials show explicit stuff.
[0:55] And, you know, for the time I watch TV, I need to get no word. You know, all I do is teach me out of learning, a learning experience.
[1:07] And, you know, I sit now, you know, when I pray, and I ask, Lord, you show me what I need to do. And I want to do everything I can.
[1:20] Do everything I can. We go by that. And, you know, he has shown me so many things. It's just like when people talk a lot of times, there's a key thing they'll say.
[1:30] Lord, I say, well, what's up here? It's what I'm talking about. It's what I'm listening. And, you know, you might, you know, when I was in college, they told me, you pick up on the most important things.
[1:42] You don't read a whole book. You read the most important things. Because usually that's what your test is. It's in on. Well, it's just like when you listen to people talk.
[1:54] You'll attach them to set and things just kind of flow by. Then all of a sudden, it'll hit you. That's what I'm talking about. And I thank you for it. What was kind of scary?
[2:06] Tell me down. Number one. Well, she also said that your eyes are a recorder. And what you look upon as being recorded one day, it'll all be played back unless you repent of it.
[2:27] Amen? Amen. Praise God. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. How many thinks you know everything there is to know about the Old Testament tabernacle? And, you know, I found out that once you get through the Old Testament tabernacle, which is the statue of Jesus Christ, then you're at the foot of the statue of the Father.
[2:46] So don't ever think that you got it all figured out. Not only that, but, you know, well, I might not know everything about the Old Testament tabernacle, but I got, you know, I got the first two or three chapters of the book figured out.
[2:59] Anybody got the first two or three chapters of the book figured out? You know, Genesis 1, 2, and 3, and 4. Amen. If you got your Bible, tell me about the Genesis, the fourth chapter, and I want to read here a little bit.
[3:11] Kind of set the platform. How many would really like to learn something today? Something you didn't know before you came to church? Amen. Amen. That you can go home and you can say, well, man, I didn't know that. Man, you know, maybe there's other stuff in there that I could find that will, you know, I could tell somebody else about it.
[3:27] Maybe they don't know it either. Amen. Hallelujah. In Genesis, the fourth chapter, beginning in the first verse, I'm going to read through 14. It says, And Adam knew his wife, and she conceived and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.
[3:42] And she bare again his brother Abel, and Abel was a keeper of the sheep, but Cain a tiller of the ground. And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground, and offering unto the Lord. And Abel also brought of the first things of his flock, of the fat thereof.
[3:55] And the Lord had respect unto Abel unto his offering, but unto Cain unto his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth?
[4:06] And why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shall not thou be accepted. And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and doubt shall rule over him.
[4:17] And Cain talked with Abel and his brother, and it came to pass that while they were in the field, that Cain rose up against his brother and slew him. And the Lord said unto Cain, Why is Abel thy brother?
[4:28] Or where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not. Am I my brother's keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth out unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth, to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand.
[4:43] When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength. A fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
[4:56] Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth. And from thy face shall I be hid, and shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth. And it shall come to pass that everyone that findeth me shall slay me.
[5:10] Let's start by our head to go to the Lord in prayer. Lord Jesus, thank you, Lord God, for your precious word and all the precious mysteries that you have, Lord, just hidden in every word of it. Lord, we pray this morning that you would just open our minds to receive, Lord, some little seed, one little grain, Lord God.
[5:26] Lord God, that it might be able to fall down in the old fallow ground of our hearts, Lord, and get that place broke up. And that, Lord God, that fallow ground, Lord, might become a fruitful plain. Lord God, that it might bear fruit, Lord, and some give you 30, and some give you 60, and some give you 100 fold.
[5:40] Father, we ask all of this in Jesus' precious name and for your glory. And everybody say amen. Don't lose that place because I'm coming back there, but I want you to go to 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17. How many knows what 2 Timothy 3, 16 and 17 says?
[5:52] For we know that all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
[6:04] And the part I'm getting at is all scriptures given by the inspiration of God. Amen? Hebrews 13 and 8 says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
[6:15] Amen? Well, praise the Lord. There's Brother Darrell and Sister Belinda. Wasn't expecting you all today. Amen? Brother Darrell, you're going to love what the Lord lets me get out, anything like what he gave it to me.
[6:27] You'll love it. Jesus Christ is the same. What you see him doing now, he's already done in the past. And once you come up on tomorrow, he's still going to be doing it because he doesn't change.
[6:38] I am the Lord God. I'm immutable. I'm unchangeable. I am the same to a thousand generations. Can somebody say amen? Amen. Hallelujah. And in the book of Hebrews, the ninth chapter, I want to read a few verses here in Hebrews, beginning in the first verse.
[6:54] It is said, And then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service and worldly sanctuary. For there was a tabernacle made.
[7:05] The first wherein was the candlestick and the table and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary. After the second veil, the tabernacle, which is called the holiest of all, which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid round with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant.
[7:27] And over it, the cherubims of glory, shadowing the mercy seat of which we cannot now speak particularly. Now when these things were thus ordained, the priest went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
[7:41] Verse 7. But into the second went the high priest alone, every year, not without blood, but with which he offered for himself and for the errors of the people.
[7:51] The Holy Ghost, this signifying, that the way unto the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as yet the first tabernacle was standing, which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered the both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience, which stood only in meats and drinks and divers washings and carnal ordinances imposed on them until the time of reformation.
[8:17] But Christ being come and high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building, neither by the blood of goats and of calves, but by his own blood, he entered into, in once, into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us all.
[8:39] Can somebody say amen? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. They talk about a first tabernacle, and they talk about a tabernacle being a pattern of the heavenly tabernacle. Can you say amen?
[8:50] Just go a little bit further here. In the book of Hebrews also, in the fifth chapter, in the fourth verse, flip back a couple of pages, Hebrews 5 and 4. And no man taketh this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron, so also Christ glorified not himself to be made in high priest.
[9:08] But he said unto him, Thou art my son, today have I begotten thee. Now what day did God beget Jesus Christ? And that's a good question. That's a deep question.
[9:19] And he saith unto him also in another place, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. When did Christ become a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek? When did this happen?
[9:30] Amen. And that is also a very deep question. Now let me see what it says here. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong cryings and tears to him, that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared, though he were a son, yet he learned obedience by the things he suffered.
[9:50] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that believed on him, called of God and high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
[10:02] Can you say amen? Who was Jesus Christ called to be a high priest after? After the order of Melchizedek, of whom we have many things to say and hard to be uttered, seeing that you are dull of hearing.
[10:12] Amen. And then on down to the seventh chapter, the first three verses in verse seven. It says, For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first by being interpretation, king of Salem, and after that the king, a king of righteousness, and after that king of Salem, which is king of peace.
[10:36] Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life, but made like unto the Son of God, all abideth a high priest continually.
[10:47] Amen. When did Jesus Christ become a high priest? When did he begin to reign as a high priest continually? Was it after he was born here in a fleshly body, and after he walked this ground here for 33 and a half years, and gave his life, and died on Calvary, and ascended up to heaven?
[11:06] Or was he always a high priest? Amen. Revelation 13 and 8 says, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world. Amen. Even before the world had a foundation, Amen.
[11:16] God had to have a sacrifice of blood, and there had to be somebody to offer that sacrifice, and it took a priest. Amen. Not just any priest, but a royal priest.
[11:27] Amen. Hallelujah. Can you get where I'm coming from? What has all that got to do with Cain and Abel? Let's back up now over here to Genesis again. I said all that to say this, that this thing isn't written in a nutshell.
[11:39] And you can't read over here in the New Testament and think, well, this doesn't have anything to do with the Old Testament, because everything in Revelation has to do with everything in the book of Genesis. Amen. And it all ties together hand in hand.
[11:51] Amen. Hallelujah. John 3.13 says, No man hath ascended up into heaven at any time, but he that has come down from heaven, which is Jesus Christ, who is even in heaven right now.
[12:02] That's John 3.13. In John 20 and 17, Jesus said, Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended unto my Father, which is in heaven. Amen. How in the world could he be here and in heaven? And then he said, Don't touch me, because I have not yet ascended into heaven.
[12:14] Those are just some thoughts I want to throw out there to you. John 20 and 17, Touch me not. Now we know that the Old Testament tabernacle, the Mosaic tabernacle, had three sections, three divisions in it.
[12:25] Amen. You had the outer court, where the brazen altar was, and the labor. You had the inner court, where there was the golden altar of intercession, and the table of showbread, and the candlestick of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
[12:41] And then there was the innermost holy place. What made the innermost holy place holy? It's because God dwelt in that place.
[12:52] Amen. That God came to this earth, to dwell amongst his people. And when he first came, and he came as a spirit, and in Exodus 13 and 20, the Bible said, God gave them a pillar, a cloud by day, and a pillar of fire by night, to lead them, that they may go by day and by night.
[13:07] Amen. And the cloud and the fire, did not depart from them for 40 years. What was that cloud and fire? That was the type of the Holy Ghost. That was the two wings of the eagle, that God gave to lead his people out.
[13:18] Amen. All right. Has he given us, is he the same yesterday, today, and forever? Yes, he is. Amen. So if he did that yesterday, today, and forever, then what is he doing for us right now? He's still giving us two wings of the eagle.
[13:29] He's giving us the cloud and the fire. And amen. When did we get this two wings of an eagle? Amen, honey, on the day of Pentecost. Amen. Hallelujah. Suddenly, there was a sound of a rushing mighty wind, and that eagle began to flap its wings.
[13:41] Amen. And cloven tongues like as the fire lit upon them. And they all began to speak with tongues that the Spirit of God gave them utterance. Amen. So whatever you read in Genesis, you're going to get the counterpart of it over here in the book of Revelation in the New Testament.
[13:54] Can you say amen? And I'll try to put all this together so you can understand a little bit better if it's God's will. But you've got to understand that in the head realm where the mercy seat was and where the Ark of the Covenant was, that's where the glory of God was.
[14:08] God led them for 40 years with a cloud and a fire. But He never did dwell down in there. You know, finally, after Moses went on the mountain and got the revelation how to build the Ark, He came down and built it.
[14:20] Then God came down and He dwelt in that tabernacle. But, in the New Testament, the Bible says, what? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost? Amen. And on the day of Pentecost, the Spirit of God came back to dwell in that temple.
[14:32] Amen. Amen. And now He comes to dwell in our temple. Can you say amen? Amen. Now, in other words, we really don't need an Old Testament tabernacle anymore because that was a time for a time then.
[14:43] Right now, we are the New Testament tabernacle and God is dwelling inside of us. God is dwelling inside of us. God is dwelling, DW, God dwells inside of you. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.
[14:54] You're bought with a price. You're not your own. Can you say amen? I am the tabernacle of God. Amen. Everybody say that with me. I am the tabernacle of God. God dwells inside of me.
[15:06] God is a spirit. Amen. And the spirit dwells inside of me. And that spirit is the Holy Ghost. Can somebody say amen? Amen. Now, in the Garden of Eden, what did we have in the Garden of Eden?
[15:18] We had the tree of life was in the midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil also. Amen. Amen. And when you find out Jesus said, I come that you might have life and have that more abundantly.
[15:35] The tree that was in the midst Now, hold on. Don't miss this. The tree that was in the midst of the Garden of Eden, that tree of life, was Jesus Christ.
[15:46] Was Jesus Christ. He dwelt. He dwelt. He lived. His abode. He came down from heaven before He ever came to 4,000 years later. He came down and His abode was with man in the Garden of Eden.
[16:00] Can you say amen? Now, in what, you know, Adam and Eve was clothed with something. I don't want to get ahead of myself here because I don't want to mess up how I can bring this out so you can better understand what's going to happen.
[16:14] But they were covered with the kabod glory of God. Now, we don't understand kabod. It's just a great big Hebrew word. But what it means, it means a shining, radiant, like the noonday sun.
[16:26] Something brighter than the noonday sun. In Exodus 34, and you don't have to turn there, I'll just tell you what it says because we've said it all before. 27 through 35, well, let me read it.
[16:38] Just to show you what was on the mountain with Moses. 27 here. Listen to what it says. And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these things, these words, for after the tenor of these words have I made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
[16:55] And he was with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He did neither eat bread nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. Can you say amen? And it came to pass when Moses came down from off Mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hands, when he went down from the mountain that Moses wist not, or he knew not, that the skin of his face shone while he talked with them.
[17:20] Amen? Now, let me tell you something. Not only did the skin of his face shone, but his whole body shone. Only thing was, the skin of his face was the only part that wasn't covered up. Can you say amen?
[17:31] And that will make a little more sense to you in a minute. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come nigh him. And Moses said unto him, calling to them, and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him, and Moses talked with them.
[17:48] And afterwards, all the children of Israel came nigh, and he gave the commandments of all the Lord that had spoken with him in the mount. Until Moses had gone in speaking with him, he put a veil on his face. You know, it would have been better if they had said that first.
[18:00] So before the people would come nigh to him, he had to put a veil on his face so that they could come and stand in his presence because his glory was shining so bright. Now, the rest of it says, But when Moses went in before the Lord to speak with him, he took the veil off until he came out, and he came out and he spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
[18:19] And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses that the skin of Moses' face shone, and Moses put the veil up on his face again, and he went in until he went in to speak with God again. Amen?
[18:30] There's something about when you get in the presence of God that you begin to glow. Amen? And you begin to shine. Hallelujah. With some cabal glory. How many want some cabal glory?
[18:41] The only way that you get cabal glory is because you are living and walking and meditating and talking in the presence of the living almighty God. Can somebody shout amen?
[18:51] Help me out this morning. Now, 2 Corinthians 3, 12-18. I'm not going there, but it just tells you that that, but we all with open face, but we all with open face are changed into the same image from glory.
[19:11] If I don't go there, you're going to miss it. I'm sorry. I just got to take the time to go there. 2 Corinthians 3 and 12. Amen? 2 Corinthians 3, 12-18.
[19:22] This thing is not just for Moses, but this thing is for everybody that wants to shine. In 2 Corinthians 3, 41, it says, how are the dead raised?
[19:35] And with what body do they come up with? Amen? And Paul begins to tell them, he said, there's one glory of the sun, one glory of the moon, and one glory of the stars. There's one star different from another star in glory.
[19:46] So also is the resurrection of the dead. Can somebody say amen? What are you talking about, Brother Van? That means that on resurrection morning, you're going to come out of that grave and you're either going to have moon glory or sun glory or star glory.
[20:00] But it's up to you the level of glory and the way that you get that glory is the more Jesus Christ that you put on now, the greater you're going to shine on resurrection morning.
[20:10] Amen? Some people are going to be satisfied to shine like the sun. I don't know why, but they just don't want to get in there and dig a little deeper in the storehouse of God's love to get that Shekinah glory and that Kabo glory that God has sitting there waiting for everybody that will search it out and dig it out.
[20:25] Amen? Some folks are going to come out out of the grave shining like the moon, but Matthew 13, 48 said, but the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. Amen? 2 Corinthians 3 and 12.
[20:37] Let me read this. It says, Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech, not as Moses, which put a veil over his face that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which he has abolished, but their minds were blinded for until this day the same veil taken not away the reading of the Old Testament, which veil is done away within Christ.
[20:57] Now, I just said a whole mouthful then. What he said was that the children of Israel back then, they couldn't understand why Moses had the veil on his face and even what he was trying to tell them.
[21:09] They didn't understand because they went right on into one sin after another sin. Today, most of you are not even going to understand what I'm talking about this morning. Amen? And the reason why is because we haven't applied ourselves to try to learn the Word of God so that we can be spiritually minded.
[21:23] And so the veil is on our mind so that we can't understand what in the world is he talking about? He went from Genesis to Revelation to Hebrews to Corinthians and I just couldn't follow him.
[21:34] And the reason you couldn't follow him is because you haven't studied the Word of God and to be able to get a mind that will soak it up and so that you can grow up and begin to shine with some kaboad glory.
[21:45] Amen? How many wants to shine with kaboad glory? Amen. Now, listen to what he says here. It says, Not as Moses which put a veil over his face that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look into that which is abolished but their minds were blinded for until this day the same veil untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament which veil is done away within Christ but even to this day when Moses is red the veil is upon their heart.
[22:11] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord the veil shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. But we all with open face like Moses that's what he's talking about but we all like Moses with open face beholding the glory of the Lord what was Moses looking at on the mountain?
[22:29] Amen? He was looking at the glory of the Lord. Can somebody say amen if you understand just halfway where I'm at? He was looking at the glory of the Lord and then it says and we are changed into that same image.
[22:40] What image? Into the image of the glory of the Lord even by the spirit of the Lord are we changed into the image of the glory of the Lord. Can you say amen?
[22:51] See you can't see it. I can't see it. As natural I can't see it. But if you could see into the spiritual world you would see that you and I are walking around and Jesus said his own words said he said first he said I am the light of the world and he said but I'm going away he said now you are the light of the world.
[23:08] The light you are the glory of the world. Hey hey God wants us to be a bright shining light like you know the demonstration here a while back you know you light a match in here and it's not going to do much because we got all these light bulbs in here but turn the lights out and one little match will give light to everybody in the house amen.
[23:27] He said you are the light of the world a city that is set on a hill men don't light a candle and put it under a bushel basket we do we go out into the world and we got the light of the world and we don't want anybody to know we're a Christian so we keep our light hit amen hallelujah but what God wants us to do is put it on the candlestick and everywhere you go to lift up the name of Jesus amen and let everybody know about the name of Jesus honey it don't matter if they think you're a fool they think you're a fool anyway it don't matter if they think you're nuts and you're crazy it doesn't matter because they already think that anyway!
[23:57] The only one who matters what they think is Jesus Christ what he thinks about us see we're all worried about what somebody else is going to think when it doesn't matter what they think it only matters what Jesus thinks can you say amen and we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into that glory now how are we changed into it as we look into the glory how are we going to look into the glory you want to look at the glory of the Lord here's the glory of the Lord are you being changed into it because you can't be changed into the glory of the Lord if you're not looking into it but the more that you look into it the more you're changed the more you look into the word of God the more you're changed into the glory of God because your flesh is dying your flesh is dying and you're becoming more like Jesus can somebody say amen is your flesh dying are you becoming more like Jesus amen that's a fearful thing Matthew 7 22 says Jesus on the mount of transfiguration and you know what they said about him up there he said his face shone like the sun on the mount of transfiguration his face shone like the sun now and I said all that to kind of build you up to this picture of where I'm going to here that in Genesis 321 it talks about before God sent Adam and Eve out of the garden they had a covering of glory they were covered they were covered with glory amen and then along comes the old serpent and he begins to tell them tell Eve he said won't you eat of this tree look at it has God not said you can eat of all the trees in the garden she said yeah of all the trees but that tree and we shouldn't we shouldn't eat of it nor touch it lest we die started adding to the word of
[25:45] God amen and the devil said oh God just knows that once you eat of that tree of knowledge of good and evil then you're going to be like God's knowing good from evil and you're going to be just like God they didn't know that they were already just like God that there wasn't any sin there wasn't anything to measure anything by to know how they were so this garden that was in this tree of knowledge or tree of life that was in the garden of Eden when they looked at that thing where does life come from where does all life come from it all comes from Jesus Christ amen and Jesus Christ is the tree of life all hey and you can't have a tree of life this goes a little bit deeper you can't have a tree of life you can't have Jesus Christ without having an ark and without having a mercy seat because this thing didn't you know in Genesis Exodus 25 when God told him how to lay out the tabernacle that was just a pattern of what God already had now see you won't get this my daughter is shaking her mind am I going too fast for you honey
[26:52] I'm going too fast for her let me just say it like this the garden of Eden was the holy of holies was one hundred fold was the place where the cobalt glory of God dwelt that is why Adam and Eve had no clothes on and were not ashamed because they were clothed with the glory of God but sin stripped you of your glory covering amen and when they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil she ate first because she was deceived amen and she lost her glory covering Adam came by and why did Adam eat the Bible said he wasn't deceived but honey when he looked at her nakedness he never saw her as naked before hey go out and look at the sun if you can when it's shining in its brightness and see if you can tell me anything that's going on on the sun can you tell me what the sun is clothed with amen the sun is clothed with the glory of
[27:57] God the same way that Adam and Eve were clothed with the glory of God and they were walking around in the presence of God and if God was shining on the mount of transfiguration and if God was but when she sinned she lost her glory and she became naked when Adam came in the Bible said and the man was not deceived but when he saw her nakedness he said I never seen nothing like that before and man ate of the tree choosing choosing choosing rather to be with his mate in sin than to remain in the presence of God why didn't he stop why didn't he pray for why didn't he pray that
[29:00] God would restore her amen but what did he do he plunged headlong into sin can you say amen headlong into sin amen now I don't want to get ahead of myself here because I've got some points here that it's going to blow your mind and I hope I've already blowed your mind because nobody ever told me that the garden of Eden was the holy of holies but it makes sense because when I begin to read some of my notes that I get a hold of and it says that's where God's glory was and there was no sin there and then when you put that with the rest of what I'm going to tell you about here in a few minutes you'll see how plain it begins to come out amen in 321 it says before be blood shed amen and that blood that was shed for an animal was only a type and a shadow of the blood of the
[30:02] Lord Jesus Christ because it is so bright amen it takes on the glory of God amen your sin amen when it's washed by the blood becomes the glory of God I don't have time to go down that thought my mind is thinking on then amen so before he sent them out now they had to have the blood because before they could talk with Jesus anytime they could talk with God anytime but now they had to a relationship with Jesus Christ that you know the Bible said in the word of God in the beginning was the word in the word with
[31:05] God here it says and the word of God came walking in the garden in the cool of the day the same word that's in Genesis 2 and Genesis 3 amen is the same word that was in John 1 did you get that the same word in Genesis 3 the word of God came walking in the garden in the cool of the day and the word was in the beginning with God and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory amen as of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth amen hallelujah hallelujah and then verse 23 well let's just read verse 22 in Genesis 3 22 somebody say praise the Lord 3 22 and the Lord said behold the man is become as one of us to know good and evil now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live forever therefore the Lord what's that next word sent amen remember that the Lord sent him out from the garden of Eden to till the ground whence he sent now what does the word sent mean the word sent when you look at it up and the only way you can know the difference between sent and drove is you got to look it up in your strong concordance amen you look it up and you find out the word sent means to be away from a possession that you had what was the most valuable possession that they had they had the bold glory of god and they had a hundred fold glory they were a hundred fold christian that's what we're trying to attain to we're trying to grow up and be a hundred fold they were born with a hundred fold glory of god amen and they lost their glory and they lost their home and they lost their health forever amen because when sin came in then sickness came in can somebody say man hallelujah it says here then so he drove now the word sin means to be away from a possession that you had and then well if you want to know the same possession that they had there in
[33:09] Genesis you can read it in Revelation 22 1 through 6 I don't have time to go there because I'm not going have the time and then Revelation 2 7 just let me tell you what it says and I go on it says to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of God to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life somebody said where is the garden eating at well it's over there in Iraq you know it was around that part of the country Mesopotamia but they don't know exactly where it was you know why because it's not there anymore amen because that was the garden of God that was paradise that was Eden amen there was no sin I mean it was perfect in everything amen but we don't have that anymore now because God took it away but now he said in Revelation 2 7 to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life word what is the tree of life Jesus Christ where was the tree of life at in the midst of the paradise of
[34:11] God what's that mean if we'll overcome we're going to get to go back to the garden of Eden to the garden of paradise of God amen and then you read about that garden in Revelation 22 especially 1-6 he said he showed me a pure river of water of life clear as crystal proceeding out of the throne of God and the Lamb and there was a river and on either side of the river there was the tree of life John 3 37 to 39 says for out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water this spake he of the spirit for the Holy Ghost was not yet given have I got you a picture yet where you can see where I'm trying to go amen hallelujah hallelujah genesis 3 24 God drove them out why did God have to drive them out first he sent them out that means away from their possession then he said he drove them out because they didn't want to leave they rebelled
[35:15] God sent them away and they didn't go away they wanted to stay but wait a minute they've lost their glory they're naked they made them a covering of fig leaves you ever notice it said fig leave you know what the fig stands for stands for sincerity but do you know it said they made them an apron but you know what the actual translation of that word apron is made them a a armor belt read it armor belt it's in it's Hebrew dictionary 2290 and 2296 the word apron means they made them a belt of armor why did they make a belt of armor for because it's going to defy God we're not going to leave this is where we born at this is mine we always lived here and yeah we sin but we ain't going to leave think about it
[36:20] I ain't going nowhere but you sin I don't care still ain't going nowhere I like it here I like it here and God drove them out of the garden amen they wanted to fight against God this is too good you don't backslide in the world you backslide in church instead of confessing your sins and repenting of your sins you hide among the trees that are in the church like Adam Eve was hiding among the trees in the garden can you see man hiding among the saints not repenting but putting your armor on and putting your armor belt on and you dare the preacher to tell you just how you really are or how you should live or how you should act or how you should dress you mean God thought they should dress a certain way so he gave them but now the preacher tries to tell us hey oh boy you ain't gonna tell me no
[37:26] I ain't gonna get out of the garden I'm just gonna rebel I'm not gonna sit here naked but I'm gonna stay right here you ain't gonna run me out you ain't gonna tell me how to live or how to walk or talk or where to go you don't tell me to abstain from the very person I'm gonna do what I wanna do I don't have to abstain from nothing amen and if anybody leaves old preacher man it's gonna be you leaving because I got the majority on my side you can turn and look how many living in sin how many trying to live holy and you know that the ones trying to live holy are in the minority Jesse alright let's go on because I ain't even touched anything yet oh now now let's go back to the third chapter and the ninth verse anybody ever heard of passing the buck passing the buck here's where passing the buck started and the
[38:26] Lord called unto Abraham and said wherefore art thou and he said I heard thy voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself and he said who told you that thou was naked hast thou eaten of the tree for art I commanded thee not that thou should not eat and the man said the woman thou gavest me she gave to me of the tree and I did eat and the Lord God said to the woman what is this that thou has done and she said and the woman said the serpent he beguiled me so the man blamed the woman and the woman blamed the serpent and the serpent is going to blame God but if you gave them a little stronger will you know everybody passes a buck and the buck always stops at God can you say man it always stops at God amen hallelujah I want to go and the woman said the serpent beguiled me and I did eat eat now first timothy 2 14 said adam was not deceived but the woman was deceived he said that woman you gave me accusing
[39:37] God what did adam sin why did adam sin why do you think they got hands her way on TV why do you think they got some voluptuous woman on there with their panties and her bra on she is not naked but she is about as close as she can get you know why because she knows that that's going to get the I don't know why women I don't think women are well you don't know anymore but normally women wouldn't be turned on anything like that but that's the thing to catch the allure of the world then how much would Adam when he never seen a naked woman before all of a sudden he sees either and she's naked does anybody have a better reason for Adam to partake of that tree do you amen he saw her nakedness and he chose to be naked with her than to be holy before God and immediately they begin to blame if you wish to get caught in something you know the first thing
[40:42] I got caught in something you know the first thing I'd do I'd blame DW and when the blame got on DW he said well Debbie she's the one told me to and they just keep on passing the buck and passing the buck we always want to blame somebody else for our faults and our failures why did this cost them the holy of holies a hundred fold because God can allow sin to be in his presence amen only way we can come in the presence of God is if we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and then the Bible said if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive!
[41:29] to kind of build up what I was telling you all ago in 324 it says so he drove man out of the garden and he placed at the east of the garden cherubims cherubims now can anybody tell me where in the Old Testament tabernacle only place you're going to find cherubims on the ark of the covenant on the mercy seat amen so what in the world did God put here!
[41:56] at the door God had the ark of the covenant with the mercies he placed at the door going into Eden amen and then he put a flaming sword amen hallelujah which turned every which way to guard the way to where to the tree of life honey don't you realize that we got to get to that tree of life we hey 34 ain't good enough it good but it ain't good enough 64 is good but it ain't good enough we gotta press on until we make a hundred fold and lay hold to the tree of life amen that's what he was protecting the way to the tree of life this man should sin and become as God with sin in his life amen now what was man's duty in the garden Genesis 2 15 he put him in the!
[42:37] to dress it and to keep it and the word keep means to guard it means to hedge about to guard to protect what happened when Adam let the devil how did the devil get in where was Adam at when he was doing this he wasn't where he should have been can you say man he wasn't he wasn't fulfilling his position to guard and to protect the garden and and the good and evil he was supposed to protect her from getting there the man is supposed to protect her the woman she doesn't know that was a man's job the man knew he didn't tell the woman to do that he told the man to do that he said man too many men shirk their responsibilities amen hallelujah can somebody say praise the Lord but when they lost their hundredfold fruitfulness and if you read Matthew 13 it says and the seed that fell into the ground the good ground was the sons of
[43:38] God and some brought forth thirtyfold and some brought forth sixtyfold that means fruitfulness the ground brought forth if you put in one grain then it brought forth thirty grains some people put in six grain and sixtyfold and it brought forth six hundredfold some put in a hundred grains what you put it in as amen I know that's kind of deep for you Genesis four one and two now let's get down here what happened now when they came out they came out of the mercy out of the garden of Eden they came out of the holy of holies amen with God and the ark of the covenant was set there and the mercy seed and the angel all right when you come out of the ark of the covenant where did you come to if you're coming down out of the holy of holies what's the next place you come into the holy place what degree has been allotted to the holy place 60 fold amen 60 fold fruitfulness in the holy place so they were expelled from the hundred fold and the holy place and the holy of holies and they came down to 60 fold and let's just see how they fared there amen and then their sons were born in the 60 fold place now read with me here uh genesis 4 1 and 2 and adam knew his wife and she conceived and she bare cane and she said
[45:03] I have gotten a man from the Lord now why did she say I have gotten a man from the!! because in Genesis amen and so so when she thought that when her son came along that that was the man that God was going to use to bruise the serpent's head so she said I have got me a man from the Lord and she bare again his brother Abel and Abel was a keeper of the sheep but Cain was the tiller of the ground now here's something you don't!
[45:41] that Cain and Abel were twins means his sperm linked up with her egg and she conceived and conception was made and there was a life formed amen alright and she said I've gotten a man from the Lord and she bare again didn't say she didn't say Adam knew her again didn't say that she conceived again said and she bare again most time when you have kids even if they're twins or triplets you always have one at a time they don't often come out there just a whole six pack she bare again she didn't conceive again she bore said again she said again she bears brother
[46:53] Abel and Abel was a keeper of the sheep but Cain was a tiller of the ground can you say amen Cain and Abel twins in Genesis 3 15 the seed of the woman in verse 3 it said and in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering to the Lord now how did anybody know to bring an offering to the Lord except that there had already been going on for eons of time even in the garden of Eden and where were they going to bring this offering of the!
[47:31] covenant was with the cherubims there where God was can you say amen so in the process of time they brought their offering unto the Lord and then man everything began to happen that could happen going wrong amen see what it happens here they brought it back to the gate of the ark and the mercy seat and they taught Cain and Abel how Adam and Eve taught Cain how to come to the Lord they taught Cain and Abel Cain knew how to come to the Lord and Abel knew how to come to the Lord they knew that the sacrifice was they didn't have nobody else talked to now let me tell you what what happened son we were in the garden of Eden and one day the serpent came in and and God had given us everything in there and he said you can freely eat of every tree in the garden but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil don't eat and and Eve said and and I ate of that wrong tree and when I did I I I I didn't know I was naked I was clothed with the glory of God and I lost my glory when I when that when that sweetness of that fruit hit my mouth then I lost my glory I lost I lost everything and and and and then then your dad came along and he and he partook of it and he lost everything too and now we're naked and now we go back and we make an offering to God and this is what you need to do and no doubt as they were growing up as children they came back often and they come back at least you know how often would you come back come back often to give a sacrifice to the Lord and so Cain and Abel knew what kind of sacrifice that God would accept but Cain didn't want to do it well there's different kinds of offerings in the Old Testament which we don't have time to go into them now but the but the first offering is a sin offering and a sin offering is a blood offering amen it's it's it's it's when you look up sin offering in the Bible you find out it says bullock so they you know but God they taught their children how to come and to offer a proper sacrifice unto God that's how they knew where to go to and what was required of them amen yes yes and and and teaching them teaching them that if you want to get back in if you want to get back into what we lost then you got to go to where we lost to that amen we had it by we had it by gift and now if we ever get back we're going to have to grow back up to it amen hey when when we're saved think about it when we're saved we're perfect when we're saved we're in we're in the midst we're in the presence of God we're sinless we're newborn babes as newborn babes as I have the sincere milk of the word of God that you may grow thereby we're like a newborn babe we're no sin but you know what happens after a while even if even though we're Christians and we're sinless because we came and asked Jesus to forgive us of our sins after a while we begin to partake of the sins that we left behind do you know anybody that hasn't yet and what happens when we partake of that sin we got it by gift if we could stay the Bible said except you become as little children you shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven if we could stay like a little child sinless then honey we would be in a hundredfold but because we begin to partake of sin if we would just just do what the word of God says but no you know what begins to happen after we're saved for a little while those things that we laid aside we go back and we find where we laid them aside at those things that we put off we put on those things that we laid down we pick up and then you know what we lose we lose that cabal glory of God and that he gave us by gift he gave us to everybody by gift and then we all have to start back down at the bottom with the blood and start climbing our way and clawing our way and fighting every demon out of hell to get back up to what we gave away so freely because we were ignorant like Adam and Eve and didn't know what we had amen amen amen
[51:24] I know this is deep but this will teach you something this will help you to learn amen to grow up and to be more like him amen hallelujah now where did I get to alright here in the fourth chapter in the third verse in the process of time it came to pass that came brought forth of the fruit of the ground and offering unto the Lord now and Abel also brought forth of the first thing of his flock the fat thereof and the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect and Cain was very wroth and his countenance fell alright now Cain was a tiller of the ground and Abel was a keeper of sheep and in the process of time in other words when they were old enough and the parents had instructed them enough you know kind of like you're having your bar mitzvah you're passing into manhood and they brought their offering to the Lord now
[52:26] Cain brought his offering of the ground what was wrong with that well the offering of the ground in Genesis 3 15 God had cursed the ground so he brought an offering that God from something that God had already cursed can you say amen amen but the Bible said but Cain brought the first things of his flock the best of his flock amen now what happened where did they take him to they took him to to where that angel had that sword and where the cherubims were and they offered him to the Lord now Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever when Abel laid his bullock out there on the altar and gave that blood sacrifice can anybody tell me what happened the fire fell hey listen whatever if he ever did it once he's the same way every time you can count on it you can count on it he works the same way every time the fire fell and when the fire fell it consumed the sacrifice and then there's Cain standing there waiting and looking at his offering now instead of saying hey brother
[53:27] I might need to borrow one of your sheep what did he do the Bible said Cain got wroth he got mad but Cain and to his offering he had not respect and Cain was very wroth and his countenance fell and the Lord said unto Cain why art thou wroth and why is thy countenance fallen if thou doest well shalt thou not be accepted in other words if you'll bring a blood sacrifice like your mom and dad taught you like Abel did the fire's gonna fall and everything's gonna be alright but if you doest not well then sin lieth at the door Cain had dealt with the sin that was laying at his door amen because we're all born in sin we're all born in sin and the only thing that take away that sin is the blood amen but Cain didn't want to deal with his sin he wanted to do it his way he built him a bigger altar offered it to God he didn't want to you know always trying to do something bigger saying think bigger is better like David trying to get a new cart
[54:36] God don't want anything he said this is the way it is I want a blood offering and without the blood there is no remission to sin and just go on Leviticus 17 11 without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin I have a question God cursed the ground Cain brought fruit and measure whatever in the ground that's why it was really acceptable to God because Cain was taught to bring the blood sacrifice you got it you got it you got it somebody say amen you got it you got it amen hallelujah hallelujah in Genesis 3 72 19 the Bible said cursed is the ground let me just read here to you it said and to Adam he said because thou hast hearkened to the voice of thy wife and have eaten the tree which thou commanded thee not thou shalt not eat of it saying thou shalt not eat of it cursed is the ground for thy sake and sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to thee and thou shalt eat the herb of the field and in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the ground for out of it thou wast taken for dust thou art and dust thou shalt return yeah he was he was before all the sin was brought it was just pretty much like a baby it was just all hands everything handed to him just go there and eat amen everything changed everything changed can somebody say everything changed amen now in the 5th through the 7th verse it says but unto Cain into his offering he had not respect and Cain was very wroth and his countenance fell and the Lord said unto Cain why art thou wroth and why is thy countenance fallen if thou doest will shalt thou not be accepted and if thou doest not will sin lath at the door but Cain went against the threefold witness and the Bible said out of the mouth the three witnesses they didn't think be established he went against the leadership of his father which was a type of a prophet and the priest in the house and the king of his home amen he went against the testimony of his mother who told him this is the way you have to do it you got to take your lamb and take it up and lay it on that altar and slay it and then God accepted amen he went against that and then he went against the testimony of Abel so he went against the threefold witness amen and once you go a threefold witness then honey you're just in deep trouble now before Cain killed Abel with his hands he already had murder in his heart the same rebellion that had covered
[57:29] Adam and Eve was on Cain but it wasn't on Abel isn't that something and now they were going to lose their glory and now Cain was going to lose his what did I say they lost a hundredfold they were now in the sixtyfold and he's getting ready to lose that can you say amen alright let me get on down here verse 7 sin lies at the door and God gives us a chance to deal with our sin that's lying at the door now starting in verse 9 it said and the Lord said unto Cain where is thy brother Abel well let me read verse 8 Cain talked with Abel and his brother and it came to pass that when they were in the field that Cain rose up against him and his brother and he slew him now Hebrew history says that that Cain enticed his brother into the field in other words like I need some help out here could you come out here and help me in the field got him away from everybody else and then when he got him away from everybody else which makes it premeditated murder then he raised up and he slew him he killed him now where is thy brother
[58:35] Abel and he said I don't know am I my brother's keeper and he said what hast thou done the voice of thy brother's blood cried out to me from the ground now this is really good it says and now art thou cursed from the earth wait a minute the earth was already cursed he's getting a double curse now art thou cursed from the earth which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thine hand so what did God likened the earth to the earth to God is like a person and and he said and the earth has opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand when thou tillest the ground it shall not henceforth yield her strength a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth you're like this a fugitive and a vagabond you know what the word fugitive means it means to go to and fro and up and down to go to and fro and up and down he said you're going to be a fugitive hey what is to and fro and up and down that's a sign of the cross amen now let me just get the rest of this here because I'm about out of time it's a wonder they aren't already in here the voice of thy brother's blood crieth out the word crieth means screaming and shrieking crying out screaming and shrieking from the ground now verse 10 says the voice of thy brother's blood crieth in other words if you look and you got a date you ain't got my date babble yet you need a date babble it says right over here in note B it says
[60:12] Hebrew for damn D-A-M which is the the voice of thy brother's blood crieth out from the ground it said drops of blood drops of blood the blood has got a voice each drop of blood cries out in other words he didn't go out there and just kill him with one swift thing he beat him to death and he said there and he bled drop and that blood began to cry out drop and that blood began to cry out Abel Cain what have you done thy brother's blood crieth out to me from the ground every drop of blood has a voice and that voice is crying out to God to avenge me can you say amen how many of those in Malachi in Revelation the 6th chapter he said I saw under the altar in heaven the saints that were slain for the testimony and they cried out how long oh Lord holy and true does thou not avenge our blood upon them that dwelleth on the earth and they was told to them yet a little while till thy brother is going to be killed that you are amen so the blood cries out even today if somebody gets killed wrongly the blood of that person is still crying out to God to redeem that situation that's why the Bible said vengeance is mine
[61:27] I will repay amen even if you have killed somebody God will still give you an opportunity to repent and to get your heart right with God aren't you glad that God gives you an opportunity somebody said I can't believe you forgive murderers well he does that's God we couldn't we'd flip a switch on the electric chair you know you know give the injection that kills them you know flip the trap door that hangs them you know pull the trigger of the gun that shoots them in the firing squad God said I'll give you another chance how many people have we murdered with our mouths you know before it comes out of your mouth it's in your heart how many knows the Bible said that God is a discernment of the very thoughts and intents of the heart who can know with the heart it's desperately wicked above all things and who can know it God said but I the Lord try the hearts to give every man according to his way amen just about through drops of blood can't be able to death and the blood entered into the ground drop drop drop and every blood was crying out and shrieking and screaming to God redeem me
[62:29] Lord God have mercy upon me Lord Jesus you see who did this wherever Cain went you know what Cain says now he said and Cain said you're going to be a vagabond God said you're going to be a vagabond into all the earth and Cain said unto the Lord my punishment is greater than I can bear well if I'd been God I'd have pinched his head all say try this from bearing this little bit I would have I'd have pinched his head right off like you would a bug you know but do you know what at that time there was no law so there was no capital punishment sin was still lying at his door God put a mark upon him can you say amen and he said that punishment what in the world kind of punishment could be greater than what he could bear except that every second of every minute of every hour of every day for the rest of his life he was going to hear that blood crying out and it's going to be in his ear it's going to be echoing and reverberating you killed me brother you killed me you are the one who killed me screaming and crying out like somebody that is in torment it says crying and that word when you look up the word crying in the
[63:37] Hebrew it says shrieking and screaming verse 13 the punishment is too much for me to bear the ground is God's book hear that the ground is the earth is God's book the ground is and it's keeping a record of all the blood that you shed every drop crying and screaming amen and her the mouth where can you go to get away from her where can you go to get away from her when her is the earth and you're stuck with her it's kind of like being married he was a tiller of the ground but then now the ground was going to be cursed a double curse on the ground because it's not going to forth its fruit anymore hurrying along here just to finish it up everyone is eager to get their sword out and start killing people amen 6,000 years later and this earth has been drenched in blood and especially in that part of the world when you look over there in Iraq where the you know which is the cradle of civilization where the garden of
[64:42] Eden was you look in Iran and Syria and even in Israel and Jordan what do you see desert desert you know why there's so much desert over there you know why they can't hardly grow anything because God cursed it amen but he said but when you return unto me I will return unto you now if you go to the nation of Israel they went out there in the middle of the desert and they variegated that desert and the desert is blooming like a flower just like the word of God says in the book of Solomon amen because Israel's turning the heart back to God amen let me hurry along here Romans 12 well let's see fugitive to go up and down to and fro vagabond to wonder to and fro it's 51 28 if you want to know where it's added your strong concordance it said all because your offering was not accepted Romans 12 1-2 Paul said I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your body as living sacrifices holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service can you say amen be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God
[65:48] Romans 4 17 says every knee shall bow every tongue shall confess Philippians 2 9 and 10 says every knee shall bow you know where Cain is at today he's in hell and he's on his knees and he's bowed he said Jesus you are Lord of Lords amen hallelujah Abel was a type of Jesus Christ hallelujah and the blood of Abel has a voice and cries out then how much more is the blood of Jesus Christ crying out remember that song we used to sing a long time ago 100 years little kid it's not the blood of a goat but it's the blood of a lamb you put it on your feet and you sprinkle it all around you sprinkle it on your mind but you pour it on your will but you don't don't don't try to work it out don't try to work it out for yourself let the blood cry out when you need help it's got the voice of a lion and it won't stop crying don't don't don't try to work it out amen blood had a voice how much more does the blood of Jesus Christ have a voice if we refuse to repent because sin is lying at our door Romans 321 says in all the world is guilty before God 1 Corinthians 11 27 said that whosoever dreadeth and dranketh unworthily is guilty amen we're having a special service
[66:59] Wednesday Sunday Friday I don't know how I can think of one thing get three different words out of my mouth we're having a special service Friday evening and we'll probably be having communion and different things now some folks say well I'm not going to take communion because it says he that eateth and drinketh unworthy eateth and drinketh damnation to themselves well what you've got to understand is that there's none worthy no not one but if we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins he's faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and he makes us worthy then we are worthy if we've asked the Lord to forgive us can you say amen now can somebody tell me what did we learn this morning huh can and able were twins amen and the tree of life is Jesus Christ amen the garden of being was the holy of holies amen that's what we're trying to get back to amen when you first get saved
[68:00] God picks you all the way up let you taste of that that hidden manna that's in the holy place amen and then be and we could stay there but but when we sin God says sorry now you're gonna have to go down and do it like everybody else and climb your way and scratch and call your way back up valley and mountain valley and mountain but if we keep on one song says I stood at the bottom looking up at the hill the hill was so tall and I was so small he said but each day that I climb new contentment I find because he has promised I like this that the top will be mine God promised it that if we want to be a hundred fold we can be a hundred fold but it's not what your mouth says if you want it with your heart if you will if you will apply yourself to it then he said I will withhold no good thing from them who walk up right before me Ephesians said God has blessed us with every spiritual gift in heavenly places not here on the earth we got to get into the heavenly places to receive our spiritual gifts amen praise God anybody else learn anything no that was with him and all of his generations actually the generation of
[69:25] Cain turned out to be workers in they call them a smith like a blacksmith they became workers in metal and and everything's like this where where where where were the sons of well Abel was killed and the Bible said and Seth came along and God gave Seth in the place of Abel and after Seth came Enos and after Enos men began to call upon the name of the Lord amen in other words men began to be called by the name of the Lord in Genesis the sixth chapter it said and there came a day when the sons of men sons of man somebody read that Genesis six and one when the daughters of men got something to do son huh read the next person and that the sons of God saw the daughter of men that they were fair and they looked to white okay hold on now hold on now hold on now hold on now Cain was exiled to the land of Nod not going down that way but but he was separated God sent him out he was a he was a vagabond and a fugitive all right now and and his line went on down through there and he had a son his name was Enoch believe it or not but that's not the same Enoch that's the seventh from
[70:43] Adam which which lineage is counted from Adam on down to Methuselah and Noah and to Shem and then to Abraham and Isaac and Javiel on down to Jesus Christ because there was a there was two I don't know why there if you ever studied the Bible you found out there's so many different names that they that they give to different people you know like six Marys and so many Johns and Peters and James and you know it's just hard to keep them all straight you know two Sauls and different things like that two tribes right but there came a day but there came a day what's it say right here it says when I get over in the right place in a minute and the sons of God who were the sons of God the descendants of Seth and Enos on down through Enoch the sons of God began to look upon the daughters of men and they saw that they were fair that means pretty and they took them wives of all which they chose the daughters of men the daughters of
[71:50] Cain's Cainite's descendants and so Cain was already cursed and so when the sons of God began to begin to partake of the cursed thing because Cain was cursed and all his descendants were cursed then the very next verse says and God saw that that the wickedness was so great on the land that God said I'm going to I repented that I've made man upon the face of the earth I want to destroy man that I've made and verse 7 I like but Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord amen amen and you know I preach here been here at Riverside June to be 17 years and you know I'm worried about Lord is he not going to make it you know what 17 years compare that to 120 years that Noah preached the Bible said that Noah was a preacher of righteousness amen preach for 120 years and anybody know how many people he got saved out of all those hundreds of thousands of people he preached to how many got in the ark just his family just his family amen the only ones got in the ark think about it 120 years that's why the Bible says straight is the gate and there is the way and few there be that find it because there's too many people come around trying to offer you an easier way well you don't have to do that you don't have to dress like that you can you can go any place you want to you know it's all right if I want to go up here in Hooters and and have me a couple of beers you know and float around them little anybody know what's going on in Hooters well I could say I ain't never been in either but I kind of like to trap people in that deal well he didn't have any descendants but but after him
[73:25] Seth and then after Seth was Enos right yeah one of them went down one of them went up but then but then but then but then they but then they came together and God said I can't have that so he destroyed man because every imagination of the thought of the heart was only evil continually the imaginations of the thought of their heart that's right and then what happened God ended that curse that was it right there because when when Chamham and Japheth got off the boat and you know it's so it's so sad that in Ham that seed of the sin was in Ham and he went out and he went into Barak and and they began to build the Tire of Babel and you know and then God said you know it's they're building a tire they was going to chart the heavens and and they were all of one mind they all spoke one language and God said there ain't nothing that could be held with hell from them huh well no but there somehow the seed got in Ham I don't know how the seed got in
[74:31] Ham but out of that out of the seed of Shem there was Shem Ham and Japheth now the seed of Shem came Abraham and Isaac and Jacob on down to Jesus Christ no Noah no and then God made a new covenant a brand new covenant with Abraham and that's that's Thank you.
[75:45] Well, if you will notice, it's really not that hard to explain.
[76:02] They never record the lineage of women in the Bible, only the men. You can read it in Genesis 5.
[76:12] It goes all through the lineage of Seth and on down to Enoch. But they had... And then the other question was about, well, you know, we say it's an unlawful.
[76:24] We say it's too low. Committed incest. It was. It is. But it wasn't then because God was propagating.
[76:38] That's why I told Adam in Genesis 2, 16 and 17, it says, let them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.
[76:51] And if there's only Adam and Eve, then they were going to replenish. Absolutely. Absolutely. And they didn't record all the daughters.
[77:01] They recorded the sons. But there was many daughters born in between. Adam lived to be probably... I don't remember. 900? 900 and... 950 years, something like that.
[77:12] No. Moses. Noah was 950. Methuselah, 969. Adam, no. He lived...
[77:22] He lived 900 and something. You could have a lot of daughters. There could be a lot of descendants. Look, look, you know, I've been here and I've already have, you know, my two daughters and my two daughters have six children.
[77:39] And, you know, and it's just a matter of time, but their children's going to have children. And, you know, so just from me and my wife. So you just think that from Adam. And what if I lived 100 years and, you know, was able to have children all that time like they were back then?
[77:51] Then you could have a great big bunch of people back then. 830 years. What? 830. 830.
[78:03] I just read it. Genesis 5. No, I don't like it there. Carlos. Huh? No, she don't. She got her walker there.
[78:14] Don't give me a hard way to go. Don't give me a hard way to go. Huh? And we could also give back to both.
[78:24] Huh? Huh? But we could also give back to both.
[78:35] And we could both wash it through the washroom. God, by taking the word and giving him his self and praying. 2 Corinthians 3, 18. Chained in his glory.
[78:46] In his image, from glory to glory.
