[0:00] We'll be back on Calvary Amen Oh, it's the glory It's the glory It gives me strength Tomorrow on day to day It will never look Because it is high Because it reaches To the highest mountain And it flows To the lowest mountain And it is the glory It gives me strength

[1:02] From day to day And it will never lose This time Thank you for that blood, Jesus It soothes my death And it falls Of peace And it drives Lord, it drives It drives All my tears For it's the blood And it gives me It gives me my strength From day to day It will never look To the highest mountain

[2:05] And it goes To the highest mountain I will never lose And it goes To the highest mountain And it goes To the highest mountain And it gives me strength And it gives me strength Praise the Lord.

[2:59] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God. We've got a special treat tonight. Put your hands together and give the Lord a great big round of applause for Brother Bobby.

[3:14] He loves us. He comes to minister to us tonight. Now y'all are going to have to back me because I am real nervous.

[3:31] When I got home from work today, I went home and I went in my little house and I sat down in my recliner and I began to pray.

[3:42] And the devil said, Bobby, why are you even tempting to preach at Riverside? Because everybody down there knows you. And they know how you used to be.

[3:54] And I got a little nervous and I got a little scared. But then the Lord said, it's not going to be you preaching anyway. Because if I get up here and I try to preach, I'm going to flop.

[4:07] And I've been nervous all week. And Brother Billy's been around me most of the week. And he can tell you that I've been nervous. And I told Brother Van, I said, I'm scared.

[4:18] But you know what? It's not going to be me. It's going to be the anointing. And then if you think I really didn't get scared, I called Mom and Dad today.

[4:29] And Mom and Dad, I love you from the bottom of my heart. And this time you didn't get a phone call saying that your son's in trouble. That your son's running from the law. But you got a phone call begging you to come to hear me tonight.

[4:45] And then when Mom and Dad showed up because Dad's not in the best of health. And neither is Mom. And he's had some open heart surgeries. And he said, well, I've been running all day.

[4:59] So I don't know if I'm going to be able to be there. But then when I looked up and I seen them come through the door, I got even more nervous. Because I got a brother in Florida that Dad told me today has went into full-time ministry for God.

[5:15] And Dad said, well, I may end up with a whole house full of preachers. But that's better than ending up with a whole house full of kids in jail. I thought all week and I've said, Lord, what can I title my message?

[5:28] And yeah, I've got to take my tie loose because I'm nervous. And at first I thought, well, I'm going to title it Getting Through Boot Camp. And the more I studied and the more I prayed, I decided to title it You Can't Quit.

[5:47] Quitting is not an option. If you've got your Bibles, turn with me tonight to Exodus, the 10th chapter. I'm going to start at the 21st verse.

[6:00] And Brother Darrell is going to read for me tonight because I'm so nervous I'd probably mess it up if I tried to read. So, have you got it, Brother Darrell?

[6:12] Yeah. And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

[6:25] And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

[6:40] And Pharaoh called unto Moses and said, Go ye, serve the Lord, only let your flocks and your herds be stayed. Let your little ones also go with you. And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burn offerings that we may sacrifice unto the Lord our God.

[6:57] Our cattle also shall go with us, and there shall not an hoof be left behind. For thereof must we take to serve the Lord our God, and we know not with what we must serve the Lord until we come thither.

[7:14] For the family, you bless the message tonight. Now I'm going to need your help.

[7:38] I went down and I was talking to Brother Darrell the other night. And we got this scripture and we started reading it. And you know, if we're going to serve God, we've got to give Him everything we've got.

[7:55] We can't come in here on Saturday and Sundays and jump and holler and scream and run up and down the aisles and get into some kind of intercessory prayer. And then by the time we get into our cars on Sunday afternoon in the parking lot, the devil's done attacked us and we gave up.

[8:13] We can't give up. Giving up is not an option. And this message tonight that I'm preaching is basically for Riverside because the devil has attacked us in our health.

[8:25] He's attacked us in our homes. He's attacked us in our churches. And I know I am as guilty because it hit me this week as hard as it can hit me. And it's real easy to say I quit.

[8:37] I give up. Why am I going to church? Why am I shouting? Why am I running the aisles whenever Monday hits and before I can even get out of bed, I done got a battle on my hand.

[8:48] Well, I don't know how to tell you this, but when you got saved, you joined the army. You joined the army of the Lord when you got saved and it ain't going to be a bed of roses. You better get ready for a battle, but the difference in your battle is going to be now you've got God on your side.

[9:05] You get your war and you get in it and the first thing you do is you grab your weapon. Now when the devil comes at you, you can't go at the devil and say, come on, Satan, and get me because he's bigger than all of us.

[9:17] But if we get the word and we start quoting scriptures to him, the devil has got to back off. Now that don't mean that you're going to make it through with no more troubles and no more problems.

[9:31] And you know what I found out and especially with me, I have found out over the years when I come in and I prayed and I got on my knees and I started serving God, I kept something out there that I didn't want to give up.

[9:43] There was something that I wanted to go back to. I didn't want to give it all to God. You know what I found out? I can't come in church on the weekend and live right and then on Saturday go pick up what I didn't give God when I get out of church and take it and go through all week with it.

[10:00] Because it don't work that way. You see, God don't want just half of us. He don't want just part of us, but he wants all of us. Sister Treva, when the devil caused you to fall down out here that night and broke that foot and I seen it, I seen how that foot looked.

[10:19] Honey, it was real easy for you to say I'm not going to preach again. I'm going to quit because I'm in pain. But you got that thing down deep inside of you that said I'm not going to give up.

[10:30] It don't matter what you do to me, devil. I'm not going to give up. You know what? I could go out here and bury a million dollars in Brother Darryl's yard. And I could give you a shovel about this big.

[10:42] And I could tell you if you can go out there and you can dig when you find that million dollars, it's yours. And I'll bet you there ain't nobody in here that would give up. You'd take that shovel and if you had to dig for weeks, you'd find that million dollars.

[10:58] If your knees hurt because you were on them, you'd find that million dollars. If you were out of breath and the sun got hot, you're going to stay out there until you find that million dollars. Well, let me tell you something.

[11:09] When the troubles comes and the war comes, honey, if you'll look to God and you'll get through it and you'll fight through your battles and you'll hold his hand, you're going to have a mansion at the end of it.

[11:21] You're going to walk on streets of gold, gates of pearl. There ain't going to be no more heartache. There ain't going to be no more sickness. There ain't going to be no more kids in trouble. I told the Lord this week, I said, God, this message has hit me harder than it hits anybody.

[11:44] And I'm not here to pick on anybody. I'm here because I got something out of our revival. You don't know. I told Brother Van, I said, Brother Van, you don't know what I got out of this revival.

[11:56] Oh, you don't know where it's took me. Are you saying, well, you've went ever since the revival and not had a problem? No. No. You see, I learned something.

[12:07] I learned to be humble and meek. You see, I've been, I'm going to use my children as an instance. Every time I've called lately, and Brother Billy and Brother Van has been around, and every time I've called and I've tried to talk to them, I've got into an argument.

[12:23] And I haven't been able to talk to my kids. But you see what somebody told me the other day, they said, Bobby, you haven't turned that loose yet. And you see, that goes back to that one thing I didn't want to turn loose.

[12:36] See, I didn't want to forgive what was going on in me not being able to talk to my kids. But then another person told me, they said, why don't you try to be meek and humble?

[12:49] When you call and she says, no, you can't talk to your children, and you can't talk to your kids, and people, don't get me wrong, I was not perfect in my marriage. And I'm not blaming nobody.

[13:00] But when I got to that point where I could be meek and humble in my heart, and I decided to turn it loose, and I decided to let it go, Wednesday was my son's birthday. Wednesday, Brother Van and Billy can tell you, because I said all day Wednesday, man, I'm dreading this phone call, because I know when they answer the phone, I'm going to lose it, when they won't let me talk to my son.

[13:22] But I began to pray, and I said, God, help me to be humble, and help me to be meek. And Lord, when I get on the phone, if she says, no, you can't talk to Robert, then God let me say, well, you tell him I called, and I love him, and I said, happy birthday, and I'm praying for you, and I love you.

[13:44] But you see, it had to come from down in here. It couldn't just come from here. It had to come from my heart. And I began to pray, and I began to ask God, and Brother Van, you and Billy was with me all day.

[13:57] And I began to pray, and I said, God, if it be your will, I don't want no more arguing. I don't want no more trouble and upset.

[14:08] And I said, when I call God, if it be your will, let my kids be at home by their self, and let them answer the phone. And I'm going to tell you what, I almost shouted right there in the truck, because when I called, my little girl answered the phone, and she said, Daddy, Hey, Daddy, it's you, Daddy.

[14:26] I said, where's your brother? She said, he's downstairs. I said, where's your mama? She said, she's not here. She's gone. Oh, you think God don't move? God answered my prayer.

[14:38] But you know what? It took me being humble, and it took me being meek, and it took me saying, God, whatever you want, that's what I want to do. We get saved, and we get on the Spirit.

[14:53] We get on the spiritual high, and we begin to think, man, I've got it made. Nothing's going to happen. Everything's going to be a bed of roses. And the next thing you know, we get home, and something happens.

[15:05] Now we've got to battle. But you see, it's just like going into the Army. Dad, you were in the Army. You know what I'm talking about? You've got six weeks of boot camping. From what I hear, it's not any fun.

[15:17] It's not anything that you really want to go through. But what we don't realize is if we don't learn something in that six weeks, honey, that ain't when the hard times begin.

[15:29] They begin when you get out of boot camp because then the war really gets started. And if you ain't got filled up, say, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost and being able to recognize the devil when he comes upon you, the first thing you're going to do when you go through a problem is you're going to throw my hands up, and you're going to say, I quit.

[15:48] You may not mean it all the time, and you may not quit all the time, but it's time we quit saying, I'm going to quit. And when the problems and the troubles come, we get on our knees, and then we start throwing our hands up.

[16:01] You say, but you don't know what I'm going through. I don't need to know what you're going through. I know the same God that you know. And, Brother Jesse, the one that delivered you out of the drug scene, the one that brought you up and set you on your feet, is the same God that I'm serving.

[16:16] He's the same one that can deliver me tonight from anything that I'm going through. But you've got to turn loose. You've got to give it all to it. You can't hold on to nothing out there.

[16:30] You see, I found out when you get in the Army and when you go to war, honey, they're not going to send you over there by yourself. They ain't going to send one person with just something to go over and fight a war with.

[16:43] But I've got backup. I've got somebody behind me. I've got some of them beside me. I've got them going in front of me. I like what Brother Crabb said up here when he was preaching in the revival or Saturday and Sunday when he said the three Hebrew children were going through the fiery furnace.

[17:01] But when they got up there, it got so hot that it burnt the guards and the guards was jumping and falling and dying. They had a chance. They said, I could have thrown my hands up and quit.

[17:13] It's not worth going through the fire. It's not worth getting burnt. But you know what they seen? They said there's a flame there and that flame is boiling. But the heat is gone because I'm serving a God that's going to go through the fire.

[17:26] And the fire and the heat is not going to be there. Brother Kevin, that's the same God we're serving. You say, well, I'm not the three Hebrew children. Well, we talk about DNA around here, Brother Van.

[17:40] And I've got the same DNA that the three Hebrew children had. I'm serving the same God that they were serving. The God that delivered them is the same God that can deliver me.

[17:50] But in order for me to be completely delivered, I've got to be willing to let go of everything. I can't leave nothing in my life.

[18:02] You see, I've got to turn it all loose. And I've got to get on my knees every morning. You say, well, this world has become and made it so easy for us. We get so wrapped up in our daily chores and our daily work and everything that's going on around us.

[18:19] I was telling somebody the other day, I said, you know, we get out of bed and the first thing we do is we've got to go and make a coffee because my husband's got to have his coffee. And believe me, I love my coffee.

[18:31] Oh, I ain't got time to pray right now. I've got to get the kids up and I've got to get them ready for school. They're going to be late for school if I don't get them up. Somebody tell me a better way than to wake your kids up speaking in tongues with the Holy Ghost in the whole room.

[18:45] Don't worry about your husband's coffee, but let the Holy Ghost come over and flow over his bed. Then when his feet hit the floor, he's got to get on his knees. I'm telling you today, we need to turn everything loose.

[18:56] We need to give everything to God. He don't want a part-time Christian. He don't want somebody to serve him part-time. He wants to be first in everything in our life. And if we put him first, there's nothing that he won't do for us.

[19:10] Boy, I tell you, I was scared. But if you don't feel what I feel, something's wrong. I tell you what, I've been talking to our pastor for the last couple of weeks, and I'm tired of seeing the devil attack this church.

[19:26] I'm tired of watching him come at us and put us in the hospital. Just last week, we had Brother Wayne in the hospital. We had Brother Billy in the hospital. Sister Treva, if the devil could have put you back in there, he'd have put you right back in there with him.

[19:39] But I tell you, it's time that we took a stand. It's time we began to stand up and give everything to God and let him fight our battles for us. You say, it's hard. I can't do it.

[19:50] Think about when you wasn't saved, what kind of battles you had. Think about when you wasn't saved, what you was having to go through. Who did you turn to then? Half of us turned to either alcohol or drugs.

[20:02] We didn't have a family to run to. We didn't have a saved family that we could run to because we didn't know which way to go. But I'm telling you tonight, now we've got a saved family.

[20:13] Now we've got an army of people to run to. We don't have to run to our drugs. You know what? I used to go by Mom and Dad's here about a year ago.

[20:26] And I'd go by on the weekend. Mom and Dad never got on me, but I knew they wasn't happy with it. And they'd say, where are you going tonight? And I'd say, well, I'm going to Jim Porter's. I wasn't a big drinker.

[20:39] But for a long time, I would go to Jim Porter's on the weekend. But you know what? I call Mom or I call Dad on the weekend now, and they'll say, what are you doing? And I'll say, I'm getting ready.

[20:49] I'm going to church tonight. I'm not going to Jim Porter's tonight. I'm going to church tonight. And if I got to dance, why not dance in church? If I was in Jim Porter's, I'd be dancing all over the floor.

[21:01] I'd be finding me a dance somewhere if I had to walk all the way around it. Why not now turn it over and give it to the one that gave me my feet that I can stand on? Gave me two legs that I can walk with.

[21:13] Gave me two hands that I can raise and praise Him. I love Him tonight. I don't know about you, but I love Him tonight.

[21:24] I told Brother Van, I said, I don't know. I may not be able to go but five or ten minutes. But I said, I'll promise you one thing. When the anointing leaves, I'm going to shut up and I'm going to sit down.

[21:37] But I want you to look at our church tonight. I want you to look at what God has done. Look at me to start out with. See, if you didn't know me, you don't know what kind of person I was.

[21:51] You see, if you didn't know me, you don't know where I've been. But God has brought me a long way in the last year. He's brought me a long way in the last year.

[22:02] Then I want you to turn around and look at Brother Jesse. One of the biggest miracles that's walking the face of the earth today. A guy that didn't even care for God. But now God is your number one thing in life.

[22:16] Now God is what you live for. God is what you breathe for. He's why you wake up in the morning. He's why you go to bed at night. Then I want you to turn around and I want you to look at Kevin.

[22:28] Kevin fishing and didn't really want to be in anything except for out in sports and out in fishing. But it's a Saturday night, Brother Kevin, and where you at? It's a Saturday night and who are you fishing for tonight?

[22:40] You're a fisherman of men and God's going to clean them up. All you've got to do is keep your mind up on him. Bruce, look what he done for you. When they said there wasn't no way and you were making phone calls, Brother Bruce, and they said there wasn't no way that you was going to get out, that you were going to go to jail.

[22:56] But look where you're sitting tonight. You're not sitting behind bars. You're not sitting in a jail. And it's not because of anything that Bruce done. It's not because of anything that Jesse done.

[23:07] It's not because of anything that Kevin done. It's not me. It's not about none of us. But it's about the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the only one that can deliver and set free.

[23:22] Boy, I'm wanting to shut up. I tell you, I am wanting to shut up. But I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to tell you something. I used to lay down in the bed at night.

[23:34] And I'd say, I can't sleep because I was miserable. And you know why I was miserable? Because I made a choice. And I made a choice not to serve God.

[23:46] And I made a choice to run and play my ball games. And I made a choice to chase after my women. And I made a choice to be popular. But I want you to know tonight, I began to lay down in my bed one night.

[24:00] And I heard a voice come to me. And it said, the only hope you got is in me. The only way you're going to make it is in me. And if you don't turn it over to me, you're going to die and you're going to go to a devil's hell.

[24:15] And it's not going to be because I didn't try to stop it. Because I hung on a cross. And I shed my blood for you. And I love you. So if you go to a devil's hell, it's going to be because you made that choice.

[24:29] And I decided right then and there, God, I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy to even call out your name. But God, I thank you because you loved me enough that you didn't hold it against me.

[24:41] Because you loved me enough that you gave me one more chance. He gave me one more chance. And I'm not going to stand up here tonight and tell you that I'm walking exactly perfect and that I don't have problems and that I don't fall.

[24:59] But you know what? When I fall, I don't look down and have pity on myself no more. Now I look up to where my strength comes from. And I look up and I say, God, I need you again today.

[25:12] God, I need forgiveness again today. God, I need you to come down and comfort me. I can go home at night and I can go in my house. And there's nobody in there but me.

[25:23] But I'm not the only one there. Because when I get lonely, God comes down and comforts me. When I get to where I can't sleep, God comes down and I begin to pray.

[25:33] And He comes down and He lays right down beside me in my bed. And He puts His arm around me. And He says, Son, don't worry. I'm here. I can protect you.

[25:44] And I can give you the peace that you've never found. But you see, what I learned is I learned I had to give it all to God. See, I couldn't come in and Saturdays and Sundays and shout and pray and then go back out and pick up the things of the world that I didn't want to turn loose.

[26:06] Believe me, I've got a long way to go. But I've got a God that I can turn to. I've got a church of people that I can turn to. I've got a mama and a daddy that I can call.

[26:18] And at any hour of the night, and my mama has told me, she's called me and she has said, I haven't heard from you for two or three days. How come you haven't called? And I've said, well, mom, I've just been busy.

[26:30] What's wrong? What's wrong? I said, mom, nothing's wrong. But there's seven of us and I know that my mom prays every night. And I'm going to tell you what, honey, I've got a good family.

[26:42] Nobody in my family that I know of is on drugs. None of them are alcoholics. They're all doing the best that they can do. God is there and God is moving. I've got a brother that was paralyzed.

[26:55] He couldn't even walk. He would have been over. How many tests did they do on him, dad, time and time again? But you know what he said? For two years, he told me, he said, I'd go to church and I would say, I'm healed.

[27:08] He said, I'd go in a wheelchair and I'd say, I'm healed. He said, I had a thing and I remember being down there and he had a thing that he had to reach down and pick stuff up out of the floor. But he said, I'm healed.

[27:20] Let me tell you something. Right now, my brother's walking. He's gone into the full-time ministry. Why? Because he held on to the promise that God made when he said, we were healed.

[27:33] You may not see it and it may not be at your time, but when God says it, it's going to happen. It's going to come to pass and nothing that the devil can do can stop it.

[27:43] I'm going to try my best to close. I asked Brother Darrell, I said, Brother Darrell, will you read this for me tonight because I'm nervous and I'm scared.

[27:59] I don't want nothing and I mean this. I don't want nothing to come between me and God. God, if there's anything in my life that's keeping me from moving up and going higher with you, I want to leave it.

[28:17] I don't want it. I don't want to go back to it. I don't want it out there to even think about it. I'm going to ask you something tonight.

[28:31] But before I do, I want, Brother Wayne, I want you to come up here a minute. Brother Van, I want you to come up here and I want you to stand beside Brother Wayne if you don't care.

[28:45] And then Brother Darrell, I want you up here. And I don't want the women to take this in any way. I'm just using the men as an example.

[28:59] I said when we got saved, we joined an army and we were getting ready to go to boot camp. 17 years ago, right here was our army.

[29:11] But you see, when I said quitting wasn't an option, am I wrong? ain't this about what we had 17 years ago? Minus me because I was in and out.

[29:22] I didn't want to get all the way in. But you know what? They hung in there and they said quitting is not an option. We're not going to quit.

[29:36] We've been made a promise and that promise is going to come to pass. It wasn't too long after that. Every army needs everybody they can get.

[29:48] But it wasn't long after that, guess what? because I didn't quit. Somebody else just got drafted. Because I stayed on my knees and I put God first and I did His will.

[30:05] Brother Van, how many weekends have you got up and you deserted your family, your children and you drove to Riverside because God told you to.

[30:17] He did it for God. And it wasn't long after that that we needed some more. Here come another one.

[30:30] Do you see where this army's going? Do you see what's getting ready to happen? And then it wasn't real long after that because we stayed faithful.

[30:42] Because we put God first. Here come another one. And then God said, I've got an army with an anointing but I need a double portion.

[31:01] He said, I did a double portion. See, y'all don't know what Jesse means to me because you don't know where Jesse's been. But Jesse knows where he's been and he knows where God's brought him from and he definitely knows where God's taken him.

[31:14] Amen. And then guess what? Now comes the battle. I said, now comes the battle.

[31:27] But you see, we got one more that we got joined into the army. And you see, the devil said, no, uh-uh. You see, the devil said, no.

[31:39] He said, you ain't keeping him. I'm going to get him if I have to get him on drugs and I got to get him on alcohol and I got to tear his family apart and I got to pull him away from his kids.

[31:51] But Riverside Pentecostal Church army said, uh-uh, devil, we're taking a stand because the Bible said, greater is he that is within you than he that is within the world and him who I have set free is free indeed.

[32:07] Oh, I ain't done. I'm going to be done in just a minute. We needed somebody to feed us. You see, we needed somebody to go out and catch them.

[32:26] Brother Kevin's pretty popular. Brother Kevin, we needed you. But then, guess what? God said, I got an army but my army ain't got big enough.

[32:41] You see what?

[32:57] You see what Brother Bruce told me? By the way, Dad, he went to Durick. I'll tell you what kind of person he is. You see what Brother Bruce told me last Saturday night? He said, Bobby, when I wasn't in church and I wasn't serving God and I wasn't living right, he said, my mama told me I was going to split hell wide open and he said, I told her, heaven don't want me and the devil was afraid I'm going to take hell over.

[33:27] Now, that may sound funny but when God saved him he put a fear in him. When God saved him he let him know and realize that he wasn't as big as that devil was and without me you can't take him over.

[33:43] Well, then God decided we got a bunch of old men so now we got to get some young ones. You see, if I'm going to get into a basketball game and I'm going to play a basketball game and I'm pushing 50 years old, I want somebody in there that can run for me.

[34:00] I want somebody in there that can jump for me. And you know what's going to happen from right there to right here depends on what they do. And as long as the experience of this army keeps them in their prayers they're going to make it.

[34:18] Well, now we just got a revival going. Brother Jay Boyd was here for a week and a half. Oh, you ain't going to get out of this. Uh-uh. But you see what God said?

[34:31] God said there ain't no time to stop. God said it ain't time to quit adding. God said it ain't time to back off. God said it ain't time to give up.

[34:43] But he said it's time to press on. Honey, we're going through the boot camp. Now we're going to make it through the boot camp. Now we're going to get ready to go into the war and we're going against the devil.

[34:54] I want you to look up here tonight. Honey, I want you to look what I got. I got an army in front of me. I got the Holy Ghost field army and the devil's going to fight.

[35:05] Anybody want to try to get to me through this? I don't think so. I don't think so. I don't think so. Praise him tonight. Lift your hands and praise him tonight.

[35:15] praise him tonight.

[35:29] Will you lift your hands and your voices to him tonight? Bring him into your life tonight. Praise him. Thank you, Jesus.

[35:42] Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Praise him tonight. Let God move in your life tonight.

[35:55] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. God, I love you tonight. Lord, I praise you for what you've done.

[36:07] God, for what you've done in my life. God, I praise you tonight, Jesus. Lord, to God. As I'm getting ready to close, Sister Judy, will you come to the piano?

[36:20] Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Precious Lord.

[36:33] If you're sitting in this church tonight and you're saying to yourself, I can't make it. If you're saying, I want to give up.

[36:45] If there's something in your life tonight that's keeping you from getting to where you need to be with God, this altar is open. Just because you come up here and you pray and you get on your knees, it doesn't mean that you haven't gotten and you're not saved.

[37:05] It just means you want a deeper walk with God. It means that you don't want anything in your life that's going to be between you and Him. You don't want anything that's going to hinder you from getting to where you need to be with the Lord tonight.

[37:20] Is there anyone in here tonight besides myself that there's something that you need to pray over? This is your army right here.

[37:31] It's Holy Ghost filled people. When you need prayer, this is where you can come. When you need deliverance, this is where you can come.

[37:43] You see, I don't want to go into a war by myself, but I've got an army to back me. this altar is open.

[37:57] I said this altar is open. I said this altar is open. Hallelujah.

[38:12] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Oh, Jesus.

[38:23] Oh, Jesus. Oh, do you know Him today? Don't turn Him away.

The Bible said, Wherefore God hath highly exalted him and give him a name that's above every name in heaven and on earth and under the earth that at the name of Jesus Christ every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords to the glory of God the Father.

[55:00] Woo! Woo! Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Oh well we're pleased to have the presence of Miss Geneva Geneva Sister Sister Geneva Gary with us tonight I want to thank the Lord God blessed us with Josh's wheelchair ramp lift for our van So Out of eight people from seven counties that the lady helped assist in writing a letter for a grant They only picked three people and we was one of those three people And I thank God because I know it's going to save my back and make things easier and takes the dread out of going You know it just helps So I thank God for that And I thank God because Jesse's been visiting over our house and that my husband sees how real

[56:04] You know How God can really do a 360 on somebody and he just blesses me He's like my brother I just thank God for the real people you know Because my husband used to go party with me He said it wasn't nothing for Jesse to answer the door and I didn't even remember he answered it And they just go on in and do their thing I'm just telling you like it is I'm not giving the devil glory But I'm giving God glory because he's changing He's genuinely I mean he's just genuine you know And I thank God that you know God sends those examples you know He sends those examples for people that Y'all just remember Robert Because he just Robert's a good person But he has to surrender And I try my best to live the life before him Although sometimes it's very difficult with the morning mood swings But anyways God's working on me just to keep my mouth shut Because if I want peace in my home I have to I learned Used to I had a bigger mouth than I have now And I'd want to argue back with him You know But now I'm just kind of being meek and say God you handle it

[57:05] You take care of it And he will He will He's bringing my husband in I gotta have faith you know Just like that lift I got the letter in the mail It says we will call you if you And I'm like no There's no if I put at the bottom in the name of Jesus I thank you for this blessing in advance Period So I thank God I thank God that he's teaching me He's teaching me faith He's teaching me to wait on him And depend on him You know And he's got me in that place where I have to depend on him I have to Just like for example I've been sick Went into a science perfection Long story short Have no insurance You have to depend on God You know So I said Lord And I went to Josh's alergist I said put it upon his heart To see me And just let him give me samples That might seem minor to some people But if you look at it You get scared In the natural eye And you say oh my gosh I'm sick I have no insurance What am I gonna do You know But God always makes a way He makes a way And he took me in And I went in with Josh Josh got his allergy shot He's seen me

[58:05] Gave me my antibiotics My samples Only charged me $30 a time Instead of $55 But God is good He always makes provisions He always He's gonna You know Because in the natural eye When you look at it And you think Oh my gosh I got this I've gotta go to the grocery And I've only got this in the bank I've gotta do this You know I mean anxiety I can see from Robert's standpoint Because he doesn't have God How he just You know Gets overwhelmed But God's teaching me To trust in him I just pray That I always do his will And y'all pray for me And blessed Blessed is the sister Who has learned to Hold her peace Well I've been married For 38 years And my wife still Hasn't learned that yet But I can say that Since she isn't here Alright Would you

[59:06] Wait a minute They can't hear you In the back You ain't gonna Go talk any loud or not I'll talk her loud Cause I can talk her loud Ask everybody If they lose it My house Anyway What I wanted to say Was I thank the Lord That he seems fit To come back into my heart First off Because Amen And then I thank God That he humbled me Through others And Helped me to open it up For God But the main thing What I really Hadn't really I mean I got up I think that And I thank God To that And what I know For I went to say But Leap Lane Is pretty well They're The people that God Are saving It's surrounding On Leap Lane There's not very many Roles that don't have Leap One Safe person Or family On that road On Leap Lane

[60:07] And every two Or three blocks On Leap Lane There's somebody Safe So He's just getting it All around Getting it all ready And everybody Just keep on praying Because there's quite a few people That are seeing A whole lot of things A whole lot of things Amen Praise the Lord Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen.

[61:04] Amen. How many people have read through the Bible one time? Did you ever find the word accident in there?

[61:17] The word accident just, it never occurred to God to have an accident. Because everything he did, he does it on purpose. God brought you to this church on purpose.

[61:29] Amen. He let that person come by your work on purpose. He said, it's not my will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Amen. Hallelujah.

[61:40] Hallelujah. Somebody said that Donnie Pirtle went to the hospital. When did this happen? Amen.

[62:05] Let's remember Donnie Pirtle. He lives way about two blocks over there. He's been too busy to come to church for about a couple years now. Amen. And if God has to give you a heart attack, if he has to lock you up in jail or, you know.

[62:21] And it's nothing for God. He can give you a heart attack. Then he can turn around and heal you. Amen. Or he can give you a heart attack, turn around and kill you. And Brother Jay was preaching here one night how that Brother A.A. Allen preached a message.

[62:33] And I've read the message. You know, the name of the message is God is a killer. If you don't believe it, ask Pharaoh and his army. Amen. If you don't believe it, ask the 185,000 that that one angel killed in one night.

[62:46] It don't mean nothing to God. You know, God really don't need us. We need him. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And he can use us as long as we're trying to please him. Amen. Amen. I went on Route 75 and lost control and went through this barrier.

[63:04] And it stopped his doors and trapped him in. His little girl, I don't know how did you work? She get out. Amen.

[63:26] Amen. Let's pray for that family tonight. Amen. Just think of that with Brucey out there on 75 or Timbuktu up there in New York or Boston or somewhere.

[63:39] Let's all stand up and let's take these requests to the Lord tonight. Remember Emma? Remember Sandy? Remember Sister Mary? Amen.

[63:50] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[64:20] All right.

[65:00] All right.

[65:30] All right.

[66:00] All right.

[67:30] All right. All right. Check. Check. One, two. One, one, one, two.

[67:41] Check. Check. One, two. Check. Check.

[67:53] And, both.

[68:13] You don't think it'd be overheating and breaking down, do you? Check.
