[0:00] Sir, wait a minute if you would please to John, the fourth chapter. How many has had a good week? I don't know what happened to it.

[0:10] Last Sunday coming to church, my wife had an accident Saturday. And I spent the rest of the week trying to get everything lined up to get the car fixed.

[0:23] And then it snowed and got cold and school was out. And I don't know where the week went. It just seemed like we just left here yesterday and today we're back. But how many would like to please God with your life?

[0:48] John 4 and 23 and verse 24 says, But the hour cometh. And now is when the true worshipers.

[1:01] Would everybody please say true worshipers. Shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth.

[1:12] For the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a spirit. And they that worship Him. Must.

[1:24] Must. Worship Him. In spirit. And in truth. Let's bow our heads and go to the Lord in prayer. Amen. Hallelujah. Lord Jesus. Thank you Lord God for your outpouring of your spirit upon us tonight.

[1:37] Thank you Lord God for bringing our minds Lord from all the different four corners of this globe. And Lord God let us concentrate on the next few minutes Lord on the most precious thing in the world. Lord God your precious word. Help us Lord God to get one little crumb.

[1:49] Lord one little seed Lord God that we might. Lord be able to take fruit down inside of our hearts. Lord God and bear fruit over that we might be found fruit bearing Christians. Lord God when you come looking for us. Father we ask it all in Jesus name.

[2:00] And everybody say amen. And amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. But the hours come when true worshipers shall worship the Lord in the spirit and in the truth.

[2:15] Sister. She's gone. Sister Pam. Had me a banner made. Used to be up here across the back of the platform up here.

[2:28] Said born in the fire and the smoke don't satisfy. You know what that means? I ain't going to stay around the dead very long.

[2:38] I don't care what kind of death it is. I ain't going to be around it very long. Amen. You know why? Jesus said I am come that you might have life. And that more abundantly.

[2:49] Amen. What did the devil come to do? He came to steal. To kill and to destroy. He come to bring death. Amen. How many know that? How many churches throughout the land tonight?

[2:59] Very few churches throughout the land tonight have even bothered to have a worship service. If they did, they worship in name of worship. But not in action of worship.

[3:11] Amen. Paul got to preaching about that. He said show me your faith without your works. And I'll show you my faith with my works. Can you say amen? Faith without works is dead.

[3:23] Can somebody say amen? I can say I love the Lord. And I can say it with my mouth. But if my actions don't back it up, then I'm just a liar. We're glad to have Sister Jen with us tonight. Stand up and testify, Sister Jen. Man.

[3:42] Philip, you want to get in trouble? Philip Pollard. Caleb.

[3:52] Caleb. We've had two hours to jump and to holler and to run and to shout and turn flips and whatever we want to do.

[4:03] Give me about 30 minutes to preach to you. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And now it's when true worshipers shall worship the Lord. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of what every Christian should be.

[4:17] Can somebody say amen? Let me tell you why he was a perfect example. Because he not only said what he should do, but then he did what he said.

[4:30] He did what he said. He did what he said. There's several examples of this. I just want to touch on one of them tonight. Can you say amen?

[4:41] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. In these examples, dancing is one of the great examples that I believe is set forth in the word of God. Now, I think that you can take the Bible and I can prove to you just about whatever doctrine I want to prove.

[4:56] I can prove to you that Jesus is one. And besides him, there is no other. I can prove to you that Jesus is a triune God. And he's God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. Amen. Amen. I can prove to you that we need to go to church and sit down and be still and be quiet and know that I am God.

[5:10] Or I can preach to you that God wants a church that's alive, that is on fire, that is leaping and blazing up. Amen. Huh? If you know the word of God, that's why the Bible says be not tossed to and troll by every wind of doctrine.

[5:28] If you know the word of God, people, the men that knows it, if you don't know it, they can sway you to whatever they want you to believe. And they will let you believe a lie and be damned.

[5:40] Amen. Because they receive not the love of the truth. Amen. The truth isn't always good, but it's always the truth. And the truth will make you free.

[5:53] Can you say amen? Hallelujah. I feel like shouting tonight. Amen. Not very many people are fanatical enough to come to church on Sunday night, on Saturday night.

[6:06] And if they did, let's make it an end by 7, out by 7.30. I think the Wildcats start at 8 o'clock. They're right in the middle of some big game right now. Somebody got a radio telling, I don't want to miss a Wildcat. Let me tell you what.

[6:21] The Wildcats aren't my God. Amen. I've got one God and His name is the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Come on. Can somebody shout amen tonight? Amen. And God loves demonstration.

[6:33] I do not have the time. You couldn't sit there and wait for me to go through all the scriptures where the Bible says that the leaves of the tree clap their hands. That the waves of the ocean, God likens that to the waves clapping their hands and praising God.

[6:47] That when the earth begins to quake, when Jesus died, you know what it was doing? It was shaking and it was quaking and it was praising God because the plan of salvation had been fulfilled.

[6:59] Can somebody shout amen tonight? Woo! Listen. I said Jesus Christ is a perfect example because He didn't tell you to do anything that He didn't do.

[7:11] Hallelujah. He said, love your neighbor as yourself. He said, if somebody's done all against you, forgive them. Amen. He set the example.

[7:21] Then when He was hanging on the cross, He looked up into heaven and He said, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Can you say amen? He told you what to do and then He did what He told you to do. Amen.

[7:31] He was the perfect example of how you and I should live. And if that's okay, then let's see what other example that Jesus Christ set for us. Amen. How many knows that our Bible is translated and there's several different translations.

[7:45] There's a Moffat translation. There's a King James, New King James. There's Good News for Modern Man. There's American Standard. There's a... What was that other word I told you the other day?

[7:57] Plain and simple? Y'all aren't any help. Huh? It's just another name for what the original Aramic language was translated into.

[8:11] So there's many different words. And the only way that we can really understand is that I believe that the King James Version is the nearest to the perfect one. But even the nearest to the perfect, you need to go back with a strong concordance and see what the real definition of that word is.

[8:28] And then pray that God would open your mind to give you the understanding so that we would know how to use this word and make it come alive and do something for me in my life. How many wants the word of God to be alive in your life?

[8:40] Not just a dead letter. How many... I want it to be bread when I'm hungry. Amen. I want it to be comfort when I need it. Comfort. Amen. I want it to be my strength when I need strength. Amen. And it'll do it because it is alive.

[8:51] It's not a dead letter. But it's alive and living and vital word. In the book of Luke, the 10th chapter. In the 17th verse. Somebody flip that real quick. Luke 10, 17. Just back a couple of pages there.

[9:05] I want to read the 17 through 21. Listen to what it says here. How many believe that if Jesus told you to do something, there's a scripture I need to go to before I go there.

[9:17] And I'll get it in a minute. It's Luke 24 and 24. Jesus said, All things must be fulfilled which are written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning me.

[9:28] Can you say amen?

[9:40] How many believe that Jesus Christ fulfilled all things? The Old Testament, the Old Testament tabernacle had its sacrifices of animals and animal blood was shed. Amen. When Jesus Christ came, he shed his own blood once for all.

[9:53] Can somebody shout amen tonight? Amen. So he fulfilled the law of Moses. Amen. He lived perfect without sin. Hallelujah. And he died the death on the cross to buy eternal life for you and me.

[10:06] Praise God. Not only did he fulfill the law, he fulfilled all the prophets and even fulfilled all the Psalms. And we'll talk about it here in just a moment. In Luke the 10th chapter, the 17th verse, says these words, And the 70 returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

[10:25] And he said unto them, I beheld. Now when they said that to them, then here's what Jesus said back to his disciples. I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Can somebody say amen?

[10:36] Amen. And then he said, behold, I give you power. Woo! Was he just talking to his disciples or this word of God still the same yesterday, today, and forever?

[10:47] Is this to you and I? He said, behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.

[10:59] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not that the spirits are subject unto you. Now. Beloved. Believe not every spirit. Try the spirits.

[11:10] See whether they be of God. The spirits are subject unto you. The spirits, demon spirits are subject unto you.

[11:23] Say it with me one time. Demon spirits are subject unto me. I therefore, I don't have to be depressed, downhearted, downcast, down in the mouth.

[11:41] Because he is in me. Is greater. Than he that's in the world. Hallelujah. Give him a shout and praise tonight. He said, but rather rejoice because your names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

[11:54] And in that hour, Jesus rejoiced in the spirit. Does anybody have any idea what the word rejoice means? I got a couple of pages full of notes here on rejoice.

[12:05] The word rejoice means to joy. To jump for joy. To exalt. To triumph. To joy out. To shout for joy. To shout aloud for joy. To cause to shout. To sing out loud because of joy.

[12:17] To be bright. To be cheerful. To be glad. To be greatly. To rejoice. To make mirth. To brighten up. To be changed. To make glad. To rejoice. To jump for joy.

[12:27] To exalt. What do you think Jesus was doing? He had gave his disciples a power. And they came back and they were rejoicing. And they said, even the demonic powers are subject unto us.

[12:40] And Jesus said, I behold Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Man, you know what I was saying? Satan, your kingdom's coming down. Hey, he was giving his people more power than what the power of the devil had.

[12:50] Amen. For all the ages of time past. Man had been subject to the powers of the devil. And they couldn't do anything about it. But now Jesus Christ comes along. God manifested in the flesh. And now I give you power over all the powers of the end.

[13:02] To tread on serpents and scorpions and over everything. He that had an ear to hear, let him hear. What the spirit is trying to say to the church tonight.

[13:12] Can you say amen? In that hour, Jesus rejoiced. The word rejoice means he leaped for joy. There are four different Hebrew words that speak of dancing.

[13:28] If you didn't have it, bring your pencil. Get somebody that did and you write these down. Because I'll probably never come this way again. But tonight, this is the way the Lord's taking me. Before we go there, I want to read Luke 6, 22 and 23.

[13:40] Luke 6, 22 and 23. It says, Blessed are ye when men shall hate you. When they shall separate you from their company.

[13:51] And shall reproach you and cast your name out as evil for the son of man's sake. Rejoice. Ye in that day. And leap for joy.

[14:04] When are we supposed to leap for joy? When everybody's patting us on the back and telling us what a swell, fine fellow we are. We're really doing good. We're really going on for God. Is that when we're supposed to rejoice? Let me read it to you again. Luke 6, 22.

[14:18] Blessed are ye when men shall hate you. When they shall separate you from their company. And shall reproach you. And shall cast out your name as evil for the son of man's sake.

[14:30] Rejoice ye in that day. And leap for joy. For behold, your reward is great in heaven. For in like manner did thy fathers do also unto the prophets.

[14:41] Can somebody shout amen? So what are we supposed to do when people are saying, Oh, man, are evil things about us. And, well, I can't believe they said that about me. I don't know if I'm ever going back to that church or not. The devil will let your own brothers in.

[14:54] Because we don't care what the world thinks about us. We do care what people, our brothers and our sisters think about us. Amen. And the devil will use our brothers and our sisters that are weak in the Lord to try to destroy us.

[15:04] Amen. But you know what makes the devil madder than anything? When he's doing his best to destroy you. And you begin to jump up and down and leap for joy. And say, Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to God.

[15:15] Shine the blood. Woo. The devil don't have a chance. When you're leaping for joy. But I think it ever gets you to, Oh, it hurt my feelings.

[15:25] I don't know. Shut up. Grow up. And get ready to go up. Can somebody shout amen? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

[15:36] How did Moses wrote the law to reveal God's will of do's and don'ts? The prophets wrote to call people to repentance. And the Psalms were Israel's prayer and praise book. Can somebody shout amen?

[15:46] Amen. Four different types of dancing. I'm going to talk about dancing tonight. I'm going to talk about God loves a joyful sound. Hallelujah. Somebody said, I can't sing pretty.

[15:58] Honey, if you had to sing pretty, I never would get to sing. But I get in on that little niche that says, make a joyful noise unto the Lord. All you lands come before his presence with thanksgiving. Enter into his courts with praise.

[16:10] Can somebody shout amen tonight? Amen. It ain't got nothing to do with how pretty your voice is. It's got to do with how pretty it is coming out of your heart. Can somebody shout amen? So therefore, everybody is without excuse.

[16:22] We do our best. And that's all God asks. Do your best. Do your best. Amen. What God can't stand is when you don't do your best. What your parents can't stand is when the kids don't do their best.

[16:34] Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. First class of dance there is, it's the round dance. I got these ladies out here tonight, and I got them going in a round dance.

[16:45] Amen. We were going around and around and around. Now, let me just give you some things that go with this. Round dance that comes from the Hebrew number 4234, and the Hebrew word for it is ma kehole.

[17:00] M-A-W-K-H-O-L-E. And that's the masculine name for it, for the round dance. Amen. Amen. I'm going to put on the beautiful garments of praise and dance before my king.

[17:12] I'm going to show the world that Jesus. See, some folks are ashamed to dance. Some folks say, well, I don't know how to dance. Don't worry. I got you covered tonight.

[17:24] After this night, you're going to be without excuse because you don't have to know how to dance to dance. Can somebody shout amen? The second dance is called the whirling dance.

[17:37] The K-A-W-R-A-R. It's 3769 in your Hebrew. Amen. Do you know what? This word means to stamp your feet.

[17:54] It means to spring up. Come on. Can anybody here stomp your feet? Can anybody here leap up?

[18:06] Listen. It means to whirl. To whirl. Whirl. Woo! To whirl.

[18:21] To whirl. To whirl. Has the spirit of God ever got on you? Did you just want to whirl? I mean. Maybe you're not. Maybe you're not wanting to go where I'm wanting to go.

[18:34] Maybe you're not wanting to experience the heights and the depths and everything that God has got for you to experience. Amen. If you can stomp your feet. Say, man, I can't get out there and dance like them young guys and young ladies do.

[18:46] But I can stomp my feet. Maybe we can't do that two-step, you know. But we can leap. Come on. We can whirl.

[19:00] We can whirl. Can you whirl, Timmy? Get up here and whirl for me. Look at that. Look at that. Look at that.

[19:10] Give the Lord a good name for Brother Timmy. He's whirling. Amen. Listen to this now. The third one is. The spiraling dance. The kaheel. K-H-E-E-L.

[19:22] It's 2342. It's a spiraling dance. You twist and you whirl in a circular spiral manner.

[19:33] I can only imagine it's something like this. Can anybody do that?

[19:44] Can you do that, Timmy? Can you do that? Can you do that, Jessica? Would you want to demonstrate with Brother Van? Huh? Would anybody want to demonstrate with me?

[20:00] You want to, Phillip? You want to demonstrate? Come on up here, Brother Van. You need to be up here anyway. You can't learn anything on the back row. Got to tell your mama that for 17 years. Here you go.

[20:10] Now, here's what we're going to do. Look here. We're going to go up. We're going to go down. Hold your hand up. Hold your hand up. No, no, bring it down. Come on. No, whirl. Now, let's go. Woo!

[20:25] Don't say you've got to stand in one place. We can whirl. Come on, whirl. Whirl. Right here. Woo! Kahil! Kahil! Hey, I don't know.

[20:36] I can feel the Holy Ghost all over me. My Lord. Shine my coat. I tell my... Oh, Brother Van, I thought I had to get out there. Do this. Honey, maybe you can't do that. But, honey, you can go. Woo! Woo! Woo! See, God has made it so easy that you're without excuse.

[20:50] Let's listen to the next word. The next word is... Kind of like crawdad. But it's raw cad. It's R-A-W-K-A-D.

[21:02] And it comes from 7540 in your Hebrew. It means to step, to spring, to leap, wildly for joy, to jump, and to leap, and to whirl.

[21:14] Can somebody shout amen? Phillip? You left too soon. I didn't dismiss you. You've got to come back up here now. Matter of fact, I might want to have Sister Pet up here doing this.

[21:31] Yeah! Woo! Yeah! Woo! Now you got this one?

[21:43] This one is stamping. Stamp your feet. And then springing up. And leaping wildly for joy.

[21:57] How do you do when it's a real close ball game? And you're sitting down. And your team's got the ball. And they make it. Woo! Woo! We won!

[22:08] Ah! Hey, I've acted that stupid at a ball game. If I do that at a ball game for a stupid ball game that don't amount to anything, how much more should I act for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?

[22:20] Amen? Woo! Woo! Let me tell you what. Let me tell you what the three Hebrew children were doing.

[22:33] Old Nebuchadnezzar said, did we not catch three men? Bound into the flames? He said, Lord, I see four men loosed and walking in the fire. Right before I came out here, I looked up the word walking.

[22:46] It's in the Hebrew. I can't hardly read it here. It's something 180. It's in the Hebrew. 180.

[22:58] You know what it means? Whirling and dancing and leaping. Look it up in the Hebrew. See if I'm telling you something. Look it up. You go to Daniel, the third chapter.

[23:09] You go find where the Hebrew children are in the fiery furnace. You look in there where it says walking. You get your strong concordance. You go back there. And you find the word where they were walking. And then you go down there and see if you can see the word dance. Let me tell you what.

[23:22] He said, O king. Thank you, Philip. He said, O king, our God will deliver us. But if not, we're not fearful to answer you concerning this thing. Ha, ha, ha, ha.

[23:33] Woo. Come on. Find them. Heat the furnace seven times hotter. Oh, man.

[23:45] The men that took them up there. The Bible said that the fire killed them. But the three Hebrew children, I can see them now kind of hopping on in the fire. Woo. You know what it said over there in Isaiah?

[23:56] It said, O I walked through the floods. And O I walked through the fire. And all these things. Nothing is going to hurt me. Amen. You know what they were doing when they were down in there? Oh, yeah. It's good to say that, you know. Oh, well, God just, you know, performed a mighty miracle.

[24:07] All them men dying around me trying to throw me in. But I'm down in here and I'm just kind of walking around. Let me tell you what. If I ever get in the presence of God and he said there's three men thrown in.

[24:18] One of them like the Son of Man. That means four men in the fire. I'm going to be shouting. I'm going to be dancing. Honey, you think you've seen me cut a rug. You ain't seen nothing. I'm going to cut a rug until my first day in heaven.

[24:30] When I see Jesus. Amen. Amen. Oh, you know what? You know what all that's doing? That is praising his name. That is magnifying him. That's glorifying him. That's telling you, God, this is how much I love you.

[24:40] Oh, man, I am so elated. I am so ecstatic. Oh, my goodness. I never thought I'd make it. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. And you just shout. Hey, ow. Don't you know that them three Hebrew children on the fire?

[24:52] Oh, well, you know, how are we walking around in the fire? Hmm. What do you think about that, Chadrach? Well, I don't know, Meshach. How about you, you big Negro? Well, we all loose.

[25:04] We all free. Honey, let me tell you what they're doing. They were jumping. They were dancing. They were leaping. Oh, you thought you was going to kill us?

[25:16] You thought our God wasn't able. He done delivered Daniel out of the lines. Then you thought he wasn't going to deliver us to? The same God that Daniel served. Say, God, I serve. Amen to God we serve tonight. Can somebody shout amen? We need to leap in the praise God.

[25:29] Woo! Shout out a blessing. That's how dancing, leaping, shouting, whirling, stamping, twisting, spouting, before the Lord calls the sound waves to be going out. Can somebody shout amen? You know what everybody says?

[25:41] When they want to find a riverside, they just roll down the window, drive down the streets. They can hear us. Amen? They can hear us afar off. Amen? Calls the sound waves to go forth, breaking down the walls of our flesh and breaking down our carnal mind, which stand between us and our praising God, and tear down the walls of resistance.

[25:58] How many knows that the devil does not want you to come to church and praise God? All right, come to church, sit on your seat, keep your hands down, your mouth shut, and I won't bother you. But if you get up there and make a show, act like you got something, you know you ain't got nothing.

[26:14] Did the devil ever tell you you was lost when you was in sin? No, not when you was in sin. Has the devil ever told you you wasn't saved just this last week or week before that? Well, you're not saved, Billy.

[26:25] Well, you're not saved, Patty. Well, you're not saved, Sarah. The devil never told me that when I was in sin. After I got saved trying to live for God, then he always said, Well, you ain't saved, Missy. You ain't saved, Rousy.

[26:37] You can't do that, say that, think that, whatever that, and be saved. Isn't it funny how the devil becomes an expert on the Word of God? The Bible said that every good and every perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights, in whom there is no verbeness, neither shadow of turning.

[26:52] Amen? Where's every good gift coming from? Where's every good thought coming from? Amen? Coming down from God. Amen? Then where's every bad thought, every negative thought, everything that says, Don't shout, don't dance, don't praise God. You just sit there.

[27:02] You just be still. Where's all that coming from? It's coming from the devil. Why? Why don't the devil want you to praise God? Oh, you know why? I tell you, because he knows that there's power in praising God.

[27:16] See, one time the devil was an angel, full of power and full of might. God asked for honor, and he began to fight. He got some more together, and they began to rebel. That's when God moved his throne, and then he created hell.

[27:27] I may be a square in the eyes of the world, but I won't be around when the trumpet sounds. How many believe the trumpet's going to sound? I know it's going to sound. And then when the last trumpet sounds, I'm going to be gone.

[27:37] Can somebody shout amen tonight? Ow! Shandabria! Satana mahiya! Woo! Dancing turns down the walls that separate us and keeps us from obeying God about dancing to please God and to gain God's favor.

[27:50] You think dancing will gain God's favor? Huh? You remember the story about John? John the Baptist? And old king, Herod there, and took his brother's wife.

[28:03] What was her name? Some kind of... Herodia? Herodias? And she had a little girl there, a little...

[28:13] I don't know, probably 14, 15-year-old girl named Salome. And the king wanted Salome to dance. And so Salome began to dance. Now, no doubt, you know, she had on them...

[28:24] Over there in the east, they probably had on them little veil things. You know, you've seen them Knights of Arabia and all that. And she was up there tinkling in their little veils. And no doubt, she probably wound up sitting down on the king.

[28:38] And he was all bothered. He said, I'll give you anything to have my kingdom. And she said, Mama, what do I want? He said, I want the head of John the Baptist and a charger. A charger's a plate.

[28:49] It means a big old platter. And even though the king didn't want to, he went ahead and did it because he gave his word. Amen? Amen? Let me tell you what, if an earthly king would do that for a little old heathen girl, how much more would your heavenly father do for his children when we're shouting to praise him?

[29:05] Amen? And to lift him up and to magnify him. Woo! Somebody shout glory. Glory! Hallelujah! Woo! Exodus 15, 20. You know what Miriam did?

[29:21] Miriam took a tambourine and let all the women in the victory dance of joy. See, there's the round dance, the makol dance, and then there's the female side to the makol dance.

[29:35] They call it the makolah, M-E-K-H-O-L-A-W. Makolah, which means the feminine dance. Miriam took a tambourine and let all the women in a round dance.

[29:45] All the women got up, they started shouting in the victory dance of joy. It was the force that dried in the water that the Israelites had crossed the Adaloid. Oh, they lifted their feet and began to dance in the hot-burning desert sand.

[30:00] Well, they praised the Lord and rejoiced for joy on the way to the promised land. Brother Vance said, somebody said, you look silly. I don't care. You don't understand. I'm not trying to please you tonight. I've got a Savior in heaven and he's looking down and he said, that's my boy down there.

[30:13] Look at him. He's trying his best to get them people stirred up so that when they come to church, they'll get off their dead butt and begin to shout and praise me. Amen? Because I want a live church. I started out with a lively church and I'm coming after a lively church because somebody shout a man.

[30:26] Woo! Shout a man. Glory. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Judges 21-21. Listen to this. There was a time. There was a time when the children of Benjamin, the tribe of Benjamin, had went to battle and because of circumstances, all the women, they didn't have any women.

[30:42] There were 600 men after the battle was over, didn't have any women and somehow they'd got 400 women but they needed 200 more and you know what they did? The men of Israel told the tribe of Ben, he said, Benjamin, he said, you go out there and you said, watch the women when they come out to dance.

[30:59] Remember, they needed 200 women. Watch the women when they come out to dance and when you see them out there dancing, then run out there and grab you one of them that's dancing and take her home with you and that'll be your wife.

[31:12] Don't that sound crazy? You won't believe what's in this book. You will not believe the things that are in this book. It will blow your mind what's in this book and you can read that it's in Judges 21 and 21.

[31:23] Just blows your mind. They just, they didn't have a wife. They ran out there and they saw one dancing. There goes a pretty one. Ah! Look at her dance. Boy, they got her. I don't know if they had a club knocked her in the head and dragged her home by the hair of the head or not.

[31:37] I don't know about that. But they got them a woman and they took them home. Amen? Hallelujah. How many things, if it's, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's all right. Amen? If the Bible said it, it sounds good to me.

[31:48] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. At the annual Passover feast in Shiloh, the daughters of Israel would dance the Mecholah round dance to the Lord's name and headship by spiritually dancing.

[32:03] And then the sons of the tribe of Benjamin come and take wives of those that were dancing. David practiced. How many believe that there was a man in the Old Testament after David's heart? After God's heart?

[32:15] And his name was David. Amen? How many believe there was a man in the New Testament after God's heart? I believe his name had to be the Apostle Paul. If I ever seen anybody after God's heart, it had to be the Apostle Paul. Amen? But I'm going to talk about David for just a minute.

[32:27] David's practiced three different dances all at the same time. Why do you think the Bible calls him a man after God's own heart? Because David danced. You can read all about it.

[32:39] And I'm not going there because I'm running out of time. You can read all about it. Let me just tell you where it's at here. Somebody say amen. Amen. In 2 Samuel 6 and 11 down through there it says David danced the McCall.

[32:50] M-A-W-K-H-O-L dance. Amen. 1 Chronicles 15 1 through 3 and then verse 16 and verse 25 through 28. Amen. Dance, dance, dance.

[33:01] Dance, dance, dance. We sing a song around here. Let me read it to you. It says dance, dance, dance. He said I was there on the morning when the world begun. I danced on the moon and on the stars and the sun.

[33:12] Who in the world was here when the earth was there? The world begun. I danced on the moon and the stars and the sun. I came down from heaven and I danced on the earth but Bethlehem is where I had my birth.

[33:23] I danced for the scribes before the Pharisees but they would not dance. They wouldn't follow me. So I danced for the fishermen James and John. They knew the dance and now the dance lives on. They whipped me and they stripped me.

[33:33] They hung me on high. They hung me on a cross and left me to die. They buried my body and thought that I was gone but on the third day God rolled away the stone. So now let's dance. Amen. Why do we want to dance?

[33:43] Because honey, on the third day God came out of that grave. Amen. On the third day the stone was rolled away and Jesus Christ was alive. Amen. And he's the dance. He was there on the morning with God. He is all this stuff.

[33:54] So dance, dance, wherever you may be. I am the Lord of the dance city. They buried my body. They thought that I was gone. But on the third day God rolled away that stone so let's dance. Can somebody shout amen? Amen.

[34:05] Woo. Somebody say, Brother Van, you're just a little bit too fanatical for me. And I'm too fanatical for a lot of people. I realize that. Amen. But you know what the word, you know, I'm a basketball fan.

[34:18] I couldn't care less about this big football game they're going to have tomorrow. I don't even know who's playing. Couldn't care less. I don't even want to know who's playing. But I'm a Jesus fanatic. You know what people ask me all the time down in the country?

[34:31] Are you still driving all the way to Louisville? How long you been doing that? And I know what they're thinking. You're an idiot. You're crazy. You're driving all that distance every weekend for how many years?

[34:44] You've got to be crazy. They just don't know that I'm a fanatic. I'm a fanatic. I am a spiritual fanatic. I'm crazy about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. I was lost and on my way to a devil's help when Jesus Christ came along and he picked me up at that old miry sea of sin that I was sinking in and he washed me with his precious blood.

[35:02] My Lord, he clothed me with his righteousness. Amen. He put his name upon me. He wrote my name in heaven. He said, everything that I have is yours now, son. Get up and dance. And you know what I've been doing ever since then? Been there about 35 years ago.

[35:13] I've been dancing and shouting and praising and leaping and hollering and praising God. Can you shout amen? Because Jesus danced for me. Amen. Hallelujah.

[35:24] Hallelujah. Yes, he did. Yes, he did. Amen. Psalms 98, 1 through 8. Psalms 100, 1 through 5. Amen. Amen. Jesus fulfilled all the Psalms, all the prophets, and all the law.

[35:37] And everybody knows Psalms 149 and 3, that the children of Zion be joyful in their king. Let them praise his name in a dance. Let them praise his name in a dance.

[35:48] Can somebody shout amen? Praise his name in a dance. I read the Bible for a good long time and that's the only way I've ever found out that you can praise the name of the Lord. Hallelujah. Let me read some of these notes here.

[35:59] David practiced all three classes of dancing and I'm just about through. When he brought the ark back into Jerusalem, he practiced the may call dance, the call raw dance, and the raw cad dance. He shuffled his feet, he stamped, he leaped, he twisted, he whirled, he spiraled, dancing wildly, praising God for his headship, for his perfect will, and for being united in union with his name.

[36:20] This kind of dancing produces death. Do you know that dancing produces death? Spiritually? There's devils that are holding on to you that the only way you're going to get them all is when you get up and begin to dance and shout and shake and stomp your feet and rebuke the devil.

[36:36] Amen? And it's death to your old man, to your old flesh. You know why most people don't dance? They got too much pride. Amen. You know what dancing does?

[36:47] It destroys your pride. I mean, if you'll get out there and act like I need you, you know. He's just stupid. No, I just crucified my flesh, got rid of my pride, and I'm not doing it for you. I'm not doing it to be seen by anybody.

[36:58] I'm doing it to be seen by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You know what he says? Hey, look at that. That's old man. He's 57 years old, but he's still dancing. He's still shouting. He's still praising God. He ain't letting up. Heard from the devil here the other day.

[37:14] He said, old brother Vance that he let down on his standards. Yeah. Well, I'm still dancing. I'm still praising God.

[37:28] I'm still studying my Bible. I'm still preaching the truth. I can't figure out which standard they figured I'm letting down on. Amen. But you know what? Anytime you try to do something right, the devil's going to find where you're doing something wrong, and he's going to say, oh, that old preacher, oh, he's letting down on his standards now, ain't he?

[37:43] No. No. I ain't changed my mind no more than God's changed his mind. Not even one little iota. The devil comes by and says, why don't you just compromise just a little bit?

[37:59] I said, listen here, devil, with you, I'm going to level. I ain't going to quit. My eye's on the prize. My eye is on the prize. My eye. You know what I think the prize is? One prize is being in the bride, but even a prize that before you can get in the bride, you've got to get your eyes in making the rapture.

[38:15] Amen. And the way you're going to make your rapture is to keep your body under subjection to the Spirit of God. Can somebody shout amen? And if we can't keep our body under subjection to the Spirit of God, I don't know what our problem's going to be there.

[38:29] David shoveled his feet, stamped, leaped, twisted, spiraled, and whirled, and he did all this kind of dancing. Dancing produces death, and from the death comes spiritual life and life for the new man. You know why?

[38:40] Because we danced tonight praying for people. Nothing takes the energy, the strength out of me more than praying for people. I've got Brother Paul up here to pray and he can stand there and he can hang in there with him.

[38:53] I pray with him with all I got and then I have to get down on my knees because I am almost past walking. Don't ask me why it works that way. It just does. It just pulls all the strength out of me.

[39:03] Listen, God was before all things and he is the originator of all things and that must mean he was originating dancing and praising and worshiping God because the devil never created anything but the devil is a thief.

[39:21] Somebody know he's a thief. He's a liar. He's a father of all lies and he's a murderer and he abode not in the truth from the very beginning. Amen? And do you know what happened? One day the devil before God called him a devil and before he sinned his name was Lucifer and the word Lucifer was a beautiful name.

[39:38] It means a light bringer or the bright and morning star and anything that is Lucifer means it's got light. It is a light color. Amen? That light up there that's a Lucifer's light. It brings light and it was good until the day that iniquity was found in him and see when you understand how the devil was made and created it tells you about it in the book of Ezekiel.

[39:59] He said every precious covering and it goes on the nine coverings that he had on his breastplate because he was a type of a high priest. He was that type because he had the breastplate on but it says that thy tab rays tabernacles the tambourines the tab rays and thy flutes was created in thee from the day that thou was created.

[40:20] In other words God made Lucifer a musical instrument. When Lucifer rebelled because he saw he saw the power he felt the glory when the angels of heaven the sons of God were dancing like it says in the book of Job they were you know he asked them where were you when the sons of God sang and danced for joy.

[40:42] Amen? And Satan saw that he saw that and he felt that glory and he said I want that so he stole it. He never created anything but he stole that little beat and he took a little rhythm and now he's got the world bowing down at his feet.

[40:56] Can you say amen? Now it's alright to dance anywhere to have a street dance to have a snake dance to have a barn dance to have one of them honky tonk silver slipper pistols down here dancing they get in there and they'll they'll belly rub and then they got dirty dancing and all that's alright just don't do no dancing in church.

[41:29] Well let me tell you what this preacher says all that other dancing is all wrong and the only place that you got a right to dance is in church lifting up the name of Jesus and praising and magnifying and glorifying him amen?

[41:41] This is where God has given us a place to dance he's given us a place to dance Paul said for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God and the salvation to everyone that believes amen? Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Remember Jesus fulfilled all that was written in the law and the Psalms of the prophets Read you this last little note I got here The awesome power of the dance is upon you when you rejoice before your creator and dance to please him Lucifer's dance draws souls away from God and destroys homes and marriage relationships how much more will God's dance when we're praising God with all of our hearts soul mind and spirit draw us to him and give us favor in his sight because we know this that God's got an army God's got an army not afraid to dance soldiers of the cross and children of the light warriors of righteousness with healing in their hand God's got an army that's dancing through this land can I hear your war cry?

[42:40] Woo! Let me hear your war cry Woo! Woo! Amen Amen Amen Amen Let me read right out now Let's see Now dancing's alright everywhere but in the church Why don't the devil want us to dance?

[42:56] Because dancing tears down strongholds and tears down pride and rebellion and carnal minds and carries us into the realm and the presence of the almighty God Hebrews 4 16 says Let us therefore come boldly Let us therefore come boldly Everybody say that with me Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may find help in our time of need and find grace to help Amen Come on You know how you come boldly to the throne of grace Oh I don't deserve this I do that Oh you come Oh hallelujah Thank you Jesus Lord God you done paid it for me Lord God let me lay myself for you now Lord God you done bore that old cross up crowd Lord God let me buy bear Lord just a little bit reproach Lord God in this whole present world and generation come boldly before his throne You're his child he loves you Let's praise him God demands a joyful noise David said I will enter his gates with thanksgiving I'll enter his courts with praise

[43:58] Look up what praise and thanksgiving means It means more than just saying I praise you and I thank you It means more than that It means getting happy and exalting and lifting up the name of Jesus Amen Because if we don't lift up his name If we don't lift up his name We're the last We're the last I feel almost like Elijah Ah even only I remain not bowed their knee to Bill Kissed the toe of the Pope Now you know If you visited around the shout is gone out of the church It ain't gone out of the out of the the flop houses It ain't gone nowhere else It's just gone out of the church No wonder you can't get young people to come to church Most churches they got all old people sitting around and they're all dead just sitting there waiting to die Amen That's right That's what most old churches are They're full of old people There ain't no young people there You know why Because there ain't no dance

[44:59] Ain't no joy Ain't no thrill Ain't no excitement about serving God Amen Serving God is an exciting thing I love when I see these little people dance You know Like Stephen and Paul You know They're strong Man I can remember back when I used to dance like they could Just going for hours every time How many remembers How many remembers that at the gate called Beautiful there was a man laid there and he'd been crippled laid there from his birth and Peter and John coming in at the hour of prayer and they were saying to him alms give us heavy alms and Peter stopped and said look on us we're just two old Pentecostal holy world of preachers but we know the dance and they looked on him expecting to receive he said silver and gold have I none but such as I have give I thee in the name of Jesus hallelujah rise up and walk and he leaped to his feet and you know what he did he went with them into the temple leaping and praising

[46:01] God leaping woo I come to here this morning I've been here every day I couldn't leap I couldn't jump I couldn't shout but Lord look at me now woo hallelujah whom the son has set free is free indeed the son has made you free honey you're free to serve God can somebody shout amen hallelujah let's all stand up and let's lift up our hands and let's praise the Lord Lord Jesus thank you Lord for your word thank you Lord for your spirit thank you Lord because you are the same God yesterday today and forever you haven't changed Malachi 3 and 6 I am the Lord God I change not Hebrews 13 and 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah God started us in a dance he started me in a dance amen when I came I don't know how many people how many people was here now that was here 17 years ago when I came was I shouting in y'all ever seen anybody dance as much as I did when I came here thank you

[47:09] Jesus hallelujah you know what I did I saw somebody else doing it and I picked it up from them amen because my mama was a dancer amen I went to a church where dancing and shouting was the acceptable thing amen nobody said now you need to calm yourself but I got the Holy Ghost well you didn't get it here oh yes I did because somebody shouted amen praise the Lord praise the Lord I got something very important I need to bring before the church why don't y'all just sit down for just a moment please
