[0:00] For some reason, the Lord has me ministering on the Holy Ghost, and I ain't going to stop now. Amen? Last night I was ministering on the ten reasons why you need the Holy Ghost.

[0:15] And I got to one. Well, I'm not going that way today. I'm going another way down the Holy Ghost. Amen? There's four manifestations of the Holy Ghost that are very clear, and they're distinct and separate one from another.

[0:30] There's the baptizing of the Holy Ghost, and a lot of people get baptized with it, but they never get the speaking in tongues and the rest of it. Amen? There's the anointing of the Holy Ghost. I would that, you know, we could get up and get anointing every time we got in the pulpit.

[0:44] That'd be wonderful. But God doesn't work that way, and He has a reason for not working that way. Amen? He wants to say, are you going to serve me just when you anoint it, or are you going to serve me regardless of what comes your way? Amen?

[0:57] Hallelujah. And you have to learn to serve God. I'll serve Him in life, and I'll serve Him in death. Amen? I'll serve Him on the mountain, or I'll serve Him in the valley. Amen? It doesn't matter whatever station in life God puts me at.

[1:10] That's where I want to be faithful to do what God has called me to do. Can you say amen? Amen? There's the endowment of power. After you have grown up, God don't give power. Just because you get the Holy Ghost, God ain't going to turn loose all the supernatural power that He has upon you.

[1:26] Amen? That's why a lot of people are wondering, why don't we have the power? And the reason is that we haven't grown to the fullness of the measure of the stretch of Christ is to be able to know how to wield the sword of the Spirit and work the miracles that God wants us to do.

[1:39] Amen? And then last, there's the filling of the Holy Ghost, which is what I'm going to preach on today. Let me just tell you how these four words are basically different. Everybody knows about being baptized with the Holy Ghost, don't you?

[1:49] We've heard that expression for years and years and years. Amen? We all know about being anointed. Amen? When the Bible talks about Christ, the word Christ means anointed.

[2:01] Amen? He is the anointed one. Amen? And when we get the Holy Ghost, we are anointed with the Holy Spirit. Amen? Hallelujah. The word baptized means to make overwhelmed or to make fully wet in a ceremonial ablution.

[2:16] It means to cover wholly with water. It means to stain as with dye. You remember, when I think of the word stainless with dye, when the children of Israel were making the Ark of the Covenant, the Old Testament tabernacle and everything, there was a certain worm.

[2:30] Actually, the Bible, the Hebrew word really for it is a maggot. And this maggot would make a red crimson dye that wouldn't fade.

[2:40] Once it was on there, amen. Aren't you glad that we got stained with the blood of Jesus? And no matter how much we get tainted by the world, it's never going to change. It's not going to wash it away. Amen? Hallelujah.

[2:52] Praise God. I was double stained with sin, but Jesus Christ, His blood came by and wiped away the sin. And now I'm stained with His blood. And His blood will never pass away. It also means to be anointed.

[3:04] The word anointing means charisma. Amen? You hear it somebody, and charisma works in all different forms. Adolf Hitler was a very charismatic person. He had all the body stand up there giving the Heil Hitler, you know, Sieg Heil or Heil Hitler and all that stuff.

[3:20] He was very charismatic. He was anointed by the devil. Amen? He was baptized. And to fulfill that particular job that he had, which was the persecution of the Jews.

[3:32] And even though we don't like to accept it, it is still part of all things. Amen? It's part of the all things. And especially if you're a Jew, you don't want to accept that. Honey, let me tell you what. As Christians, we're not going to want to accept the all things that are going to happen to the United States of America.

[3:46] But every nation that forgets God, God will turn them into perdition or into hell. Can you say amen? Into destruction. And the word anointed means to smear or rub with oil.

[3:57] It means a special endowment. It means an unction. It means to consecrate for religious service. Amen? You might say somebody, well, when they get up, they're anointed.

[4:07] Amen? It's because God has smeared them with the oil of the Holy Ghost. It's not smeared on the outside, but it's smeared on the inside. Amen? And it's endowed them with a special gift and a ministry to preach God's word or deliver the message that God has sent them out to deliver.

[4:22] The third thing was to be endued. The Bible says, but tarry you in Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high. Amen? The word endued means the sense of sinking into a garment.

[4:36] Can you imagine that? Sinking. I was out there looking at Value City the other night, and I saw this shirt was for this guy. He must have been triple extra large, doubled over. And I said, I can take that shirt and make me a nightgown out of it.

[4:48] And I could just see me sinking down in that big old thing. Amen? But can you imagine that the Holy Ghost is so big? It's likened to the vast oceans of the world.

[4:58] And when you just sink down into the Holy Ghost. Amen? You're surrounded. It's all over you. Not only does it mean to sink down in, as in a garment, it means to invest. It means to array.

[5:09] It means to put on or be clothed with. Matter of fact, it even means to have a vested interest in your well-being. Amen? Man, when God endues you with power from on high, that means His power is in you, and He has a vested interest in making you a success.

[5:27] How many wants to be a successful Christian? Because that's the only kind of success that's really going to count. Amen? I may fail at everything else in life, but if I can be a successful Christian, amen, then I'm a success. Amen? Hallelujah.

[5:37] Hallelujah. And the last thing is to be filled. Filled. Amen? It comes from the Greek word pletho. It means to fill or to imbue. I-M-B-U-E means to influence.

[5:49] It means to supply. It means to fulfill. It means to accomplish. Hallelujah. Filled means to wet, to soak, to saturate.

[6:01] It even means to permeate. That's a big word. You know what it means? If you've got something that's wild, if you'll put it in salt water overnight and let it sit there and soak and permeate in that salt water, it'll take the wild taste out of it.

[6:17] Amen? I found out that if we'll get soaked in the name of Jesus enough, we might have been wilder than a badger when we got saved. Amen? But the name of Jesus will soak inside of us. And it will somebody taste of us.

[6:28] Hallelujah. They're not tasting of us, but they're tasting of the word of God that God has placed down on the inside of us. Amen? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. They'll say, oh my goodness. I see that that is a sweet meat to my taste.

[6:40] Amen? A sweet word. The word that they're giving me. Hallelujah. Sweet meat. Amen? It means to pass through something. Amen? To be filled means to pass through it. It means to affect every part of, to penetrate, and to inspire.

[6:56] You probably didn't know what the word filled meant, all that, did you? Well, you can find that in your strong concordance. Can somebody say amen? Now, go into the book of Luke, the first chapter. Hallelujah.

[7:07] In the book of Luke, the first chapter, you have the story of Jesus Christ. Amen? Who was the anointed, and is the anointed of God. Amen? Hallelujah. And all of our anointing comes from and through him.

[7:18] Can somebody shout amen this morning? Luke, the first chapter, and verse 13. I want to talk about some people who got the Holy Ghost, and who were filled with the Holy Ghost.

[7:33] It said, And the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias, for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. And thou shalt have joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice at his birth.

[7:48] And he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. And he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. Amen? When was John going to be filled from the Holy Ghost?

[8:01] Wait a minute. I didn't think that the Holy Ghost came until on the day of Pentecost. Honey, the Holy Ghost was before the time began. Amen? But it is the Spirit of God, and God is the Spirit. Amen?

[8:11] And it was the Spirit of God that said, Let there be light. And there was light. Amen? And the Spirit of the Lord moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1 and 3. Amen? And when the Spirit of the Lord moved. Amen? When the Spirit of the Lord moves in the church service, something begins to happen.

[8:24] The waters begin to quake and shake. And hallelujah, life begins to spring forth from something that's been dead. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Woo! Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

[8:34] Let me read that one more verse one more time. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink.

[8:47] And he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. Even from, you know, how many knows that God is the Spirit? Amen?

[8:58] God is the Spirit. And they that worship God must worship him in the Spirit and in the truth. Amen? God was manifested in the flesh. Amen? And God became man. Can somebody say amen this morning? Amen?

[9:09] And then after God lived his life here as three and a half years as a man, and as a man died on Calvary's cross. Amen? Hallelujah. And for my sins and your sins, he died. And what happens when the Bible said he died?

[9:20] He gave up the ghost, which is another word. He gave up the Spirit. Amen? And the Spirit went back to the Father. Amen? Hallelujah. That same Spirit. Amen? Jesus said, I'm going away, but I'm going to pray the Father who's going to send you another comforter, another Spirit, who's going to come in my name.

[9:35] And he'll not only be with you, that means beside of you and around you, but he's going to be in you. Amen? And this Spirit is going to imbue you and fill you and anoint you and baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

[9:46] Can somebody shout amen? Amen. Hallelujah. So we see that John was filled with the Holy Ghost before the day of Pentecost and even from his mother's womb. Amen. Going on down to verse 44.

[9:58] And it says, For lo, as soon as the voice of thy salvation, this is when Mary, after the angel, appeared to her and said, Mary, you know, you're going to bear a child, and the power of the high shall overshadow thee, and that thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

[10:15] And she went up to her cousin out in the hill country to tell her what had happened. And as soon as the voice of the salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb.

[10:26] And that babe was John, and that leaping was a Holy Ghost witness bearing truth. Have you ever said in a service, we don't get much of it around here. But if you ever go over to Christ's gospel, you'll find out somebody, you know, whoever's ministering will say something, and then the Spirit of the Holy Ghost will quicken it to them.

[10:43] Hey! And man, you just, I mean, the truth just said, you know, it bears witness. Amen. It jumps, it leaps, it just jumps out of you. And this is what happened when she heard the salutation of Elizabeth.

[10:55] Amen. Hallelujah. Now, going on a little bit further in verse 41, we're going to read the word Elizabeth. Everybody remembers that John, now it says here that Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost.

[11:08] Amen. And John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Ghost. Well, we'll get to that in a minute. Verse 41. It says, And it came to pass that when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost.

[11:31] See that? Now, not only was John the Baptist filled with the Holy Ghost from his mother's womb, she had something in her that was also filled with the Holy Ghost, and she was filled with the Holy Ghost, and the day of Pentecost hadn't even happened yet.

[11:42] Can you say amen? And listen to what happens. When she got filled with the Holy Ghost, she prophesied. And she spake out with a loud voice and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed be the fruit of thy womb.

[11:55] And whence is this to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me. For as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb. And blessed is she that believed, for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

[12:13] Amen. Amen. All that's just fancy way of saying that what the angel told you, that's actually going to come to pass. Can you say amen? Hallelujah. Amen. And then a little bit further here in, let's see, I think I have verse 36.

[12:29] I just read that there, didn't I? Okay. And going on down to verse 67. And his father, Zacharias, was filled with the Holy Ghost.

[12:42] Now, if you go back up here and let's read verse 64 so we can lay the foundation for Zacharias. And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue was loosed, and he spake. Now, this is after he said, he wrote down, we shall call his name John, so y'all can just quit arguing about it.

[12:56] His name's John. And when he said that, and it became just like a law, because he had said it, it was fiat, it was not going to change. His mouth was opened, and immediately his tongue was loosed, and he spake, and he prophesied, and the fear came upon all them that dwelt around the battle.

[13:11] And all these sayings were noised abroad, throughout all the hill country of Judea. And they all that heard them, laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child should this be? And the hand of the Lord was upon him, and his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied.

[13:26] Amen? So we have John filled with the Holy Ghost. We have Mary filled with the Holy Ghost. We have Elizabeth filled with the Holy Ghost. And then we have Zacharias, and these are all filled with the Holy Ghost.

[13:36] Amen? Wouldn't you want your whole family to be filled with the Holy Ghost? Amen? I mean, from your greatest to the least. Hallelujah. Filled with the Spirit and the power of God. Listen to what he prophesied.

[13:47] Here's what he prophesied. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he hath visited and redeemed his people. And he hath raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David. And he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which since the world began.

[14:00] Amen? That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us, to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant, the oath which he swore to our father Abraham, that he would grant unto us that we should be delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our lives.

[14:21] And the child shall be called the prophet of the highest, for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his way. Honey, you talk about the Holy Ghost coming upon him. When the Holy Ghost came upon him, he began to prophesy.

[14:33] Man. Man. Can you imagine speaking these great words? He said to give knowledge of salvation unto the people, and the remission of sin.

[14:46] Through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the day star from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sat in darkness, and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet unto the way of peace.

[14:56] And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the streets till the day of the showing of his birth. Now who was this waxed strong? Who are we talking about? John the Baptist.

[15:07] Amen. I drew a line all the way across my page over here, to the second chapter and the second verse. And it says, And when he was twelve years old, he went up to Jerusalem after the custom of his feast.

[15:21] Verse 40 says, And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him. That's talking about Jesus. So the same spirit that was upon John the Baptist is the same spirit that was upon Jesus.

[15:34] They both waxed strong and grew in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Amen. Was strong in the spirit. Strong in the spirit.

[15:47] Strong in the spirit. Jesus came as the Lamb of God. Strong in the spirit. He didn't come riding on a great white horse.

[15:58] He came riding on a donkey. Amen. But even at that, he was strong in the spirit. Amen. In the second chapter. Look and see what happened here in Acts's second chapter. Somebody else was filled with the Holy Ghost before the day of Pentecost.

[16:10] In Acts's second chapter in the first verse. It said, And it came to pass in those days that there were not a decree from Caesar Augusta that the world was... I'm in the wrong chapter. Hold on, sir. I said the fourth...

[16:20] That second chapter. No, no, no, no, no. I'm sorry. It's the fourth chapter. Please forgive me. Fourth chapter. And Jesus being full... And that's what I'm preaching on this morning.

[16:32] Being full or filled with the Holy Ghost. And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness being tempted of the devil. In those days he did eat nothing. And when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

[16:45] And the devil said unto them, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone to be turned to bread. And Jesus answered and said, It is written that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

[16:56] Can you say amen? Amen. Maybe we're going down here a little bit further. And the devil taking him into his seating high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment. The devil said unto them, All this power will I give thee and the glory of them, for that is delivered unto me, and to whomsoever I will give it.

[17:11] If thou therefore will worship me, all shall be dying. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan, for it is written, And thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

[17:21] You know what happens when you have the anointing power of the Holy Ghost come upon you? You're able to resist the devil. The devil offered him everything. And he said, I don't need it because it is written.

[17:32] Amen. The only way that you can resist the devil is if you know what is written in the Word of God. Word of the knowledge gives you power. And knowledge of the Word of God gives you power with God.

[17:42] Can somebody say amen? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And the fourth chapter in the 31st verse. Acts 4.31. I'm sorry. I want to go to Acts 2nd chapter.

[17:55] And first verse. Acts 2 and 1. I've been trying to preach this for, how long now? A month.

[18:06] Praise God. So I've got a few or three, two or three other messages laid up just waiting in the wings. Amen. For when the Lord says, now's the time, son. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Acts 2 and 1 through 4 said, and all 120 were filled with the Holy Ghost.

[18:20] When the day of Pentecost was fully come. They were all in one mind, in one accord. Can somebody say amen? Hallelujah. They were together. They were praying. The Holy Ghost came upon them.

[18:31] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind. And cloven tongues filled the house where all they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as a fire. And it set upon each one of them. And they all were filled with the Holy Ghost as the Spirit of God gave them utterance.

[18:44] Somebody say amen? They were filled. They were filled. Some people got filled before the day of Pentecost. Some people got filled on the day of Pentecost. Some people got filled after the day of Pentecost. Can you say amen?

[18:56] Hallelujah. And, well, just let me read on down. This is too good. We've read this before, but this is just too good. Verse 5.

[19:08] And there were dwelling at Jerusalem devout men out of every nation under heaven. And when this was noise abroad, the multitude came together and were confounded because they heard every man speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are these not which speak Galileans?

[19:25] And how we hear every man speak in our own tongue wherein we were born. We're Perinthians and Medes and the Elamites and dwellers in Mesopotamia and in Judea and Cappadocia and Pontus and Asia and Phygia and Pamphylia and Egypt and in the parts of Libya around about Cyrene and strangers of Rome and Jews and proselytes and Cretes and Arabians.

[19:51] We did hear them speak in our tongue the wonderful works of God. Can somebody say amen? Amen. And they were amazed and were in doubt, saying one to another, What in the world is going on? What meaneth this?

[20:02] Can somebody say amen? What meaneth this? Amen. And then you're reading on down here in the fourth chapter, beginning in the eighth verse, Acts 4 and 8. Hallelujah. It says, And then Peter, Now how many got filled on the day of Pentecost?

[20:18] 120. Amen. And then Peter standing up. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. 4 and 8. Then Peter filled with the Holy Ghost said unto them, You rulers of the people and the elders of Israel, At this day be examined.

[20:34] Now what is Peter? What's this one word I'm preaching on today? Filled. And Peter filled with the Holy Ghost said unto the people, You rulers of the people and the elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to this important man, By what means he has made whole bid on unto you, All and to the people of all Israel, That by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Whom ye have crucified, Whom God hath raised from the dead, Even by him does this man stand before you whole.

[21:00] This is the stone which was set in all of you builders, Which has become the head of the corner, Neither is there salvation in any other name, For there is none other name under heaven given among men, Whereby you must be saved. And now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, They perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, They marveled and they took knowledge of them, That they had been with Jesus.

[21:21] Amen? You know what it means? They didn't have a formal education. They didn't get to go to school like Paul did, And have Gamaliel to sit there and teach them all the deep, Dark secrets of God.

[21:32] Amen. They didn't have the professors at the universities. They were just ignorant and unlearned and fishermen. Amen? But when the Holy Ghost came, He gave them an anointing and He opened their mind, That they might be able to receive the word of God.

[21:43] Amen? Because He filled them with His spirit. And His spirit is the only spirit that's able to discern this word. That's why everybody else, When you read it, It's dead. It's dead in letters. You don't mean anything. But when the Holy Ghost comes inside of you, Then you understand it.

[21:56] Now why do I understand it now? It's because we're filled with the Holy Ghost. Amen? And so it's not really us that's understanding it. It's the spirit of God that's in us understanding it. Quicken it to us.

[22:07] Can somebody say amen? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I want to be filled. Amen? Filled. Amen. Verse 31. Verse 31. The same chapter. And when they had prayed, The place was shaken, And they were assembled together, And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, And they spake the word of God with boldness.

[22:24] Now, listen. What this is talking about is that they had took Peter and John and all of them, And they had been preaching in the name of Jesus, And they took them, And they beat them, And they said, Now, Don't y'all go preaching anymore on that name, Because if you do, We're going to put you back in jail.

[22:38] And what we did to you this time won't amount to anything, Compared to what we're going to do to you next time. Amen? And this is what happened. Let me just, Verse 29. And now, Lord, Behold their threatenings, And grant unto thy servants, That they may with all boldness speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand, To heal them that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

[22:59] And they were all, When they had prayed, The place was shaken where they were assembled together, And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, And they spake the word of God with boldness. You know what that means? They were refilled. They already had the Holy Ghost.

[23:11] They got it on the day of Pentecost. Amen? But now this is just a few days later, And they get it again. You know what that means? If you'll empty it out, God will refill you. Amen?

[23:22] If you'll empty it out, Empty yourself out, Pour yourself out. Pour yourself out to see that somebody, Amen? Gets to know who Jesus is. Pour yourself out, Making his name on, And lifting him up, And magnifying him, And glorifying him.

[23:34] Pour yourself out. Amen? Hallelujah. If you'll pour yourself out, Jesus will refill you. Fill my cup, Lord. I'll lift it up, Lord. Amen? Hallelujah.

[23:45] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The word filled is different from the other words, Anointed, Baptized, And endued. The Greek word plato, Meaning to imbue, To wet, To soak, To saturate, To color, To dye, To permeate, To pass through, Or into, To affect every part, And to penetrate, And to consecrate.

[24:05] Go with me to the book of Isaiah, The sixth chapter, And the first verse. This is a beautiful passage of scripture here. Isaiah 6 and 1. If you've got a date, It's on page 684. Hallelujah.

[24:18] It starts out, In the day that King Uzziah died. In the day that King Uzziah died. Anybody know who Uzziah was?

[24:31] He was a natural king. God had put him in that position. And that's the king of Israel. He had Prophets, And He had the Levites, The Levitical priests to it, And he had all different manners of Servants.

[24:55] And He wasn't satisfied with just being king. He wasn't satisfied with being, You know, Doing an earthly office. He wanted To do a Heavenly office.

[25:06] So in his pride, He went in, And he began to make sacrifices To God, As if he were a priest. And because he wasn't a priest, But he was lifted up in his pride, God said, Oh king, Said what you've done is going to cost you your life.

[25:25] In the year that King Uzziah died, In the year that our pride, Does anybody have any pride? We're all filled with pride. I hate to admit that. Amen. In the year that King Uzziah died, He said, I saw the Lord, And he was high, And he was lifted up, And his train, Now they're not talking about choo-choo train, Going down a railroad track.

[25:48] They're talking about his train, Filled the temple. Now the reason why I came here, Because I want to talk about the train. Amen. The train. When I look over here in my footnotes, It means it comes from the Hebrew word, Shaw, S-H-U-W-L.

[26:05] Does that mean, When the year that King Uzziah died, The natural king died, And I saw a heavenly king, And he was high, And he was lifted up, And his shawl, Hey, What kind of shawl did he have?

[26:16] Honey, The same king that came down here, And wore an earthly shawl, We call it a prayer shawl, We call it a talit, We call it a garment of praise, We call it a nephod, Amen. He's got a heavenly one.

[26:29] Now the Pharisees in their days, Extended the hem of their garments, That they might appear before others, To be more righteous, Than the rest of them around them. But honey, The hem of his garment, The hem, Hallelujah, That filled the temple, Filled every little space of it.

[26:45] Now, If the king has taken up residence, In our heart, If Uzziah saw him, He said, Yea, In the day that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, High and lifted up, And his train filled the temple.

[26:58] Then I have, My mind just runs real quick, 1 Corinthians 3 and 13, 3 and 16, Amen. What's 1 Corinthians 3 and 16? What? Know you not that you are the temple of God? That you're, Hey, Listen, 1 Corinthians 6 and 19, What?

[27:11] Know you not that you're the temple of the Holy Ghost? And you're bought with a price, You're not your own? What does that mean? Honey, When the Holy Ghost comes in, The train, And what is the Holy Ghost?

[27:22] It's the spirit of Jesus Christ. It's the spirit of God. What does it want to do? It wants to fill every part. When you find out what this means, It meant that it filled every little space that was in there.

[27:35] Every little, There was nothing left. There was nothing left that wasn't filled. We got big empty places inside of us. We got places of darkness that needs to let the light shine in on it.

[27:48] Amen. The Bible said, Everything done in the darkness is going to be brought to light. But if we'll let the Holy Ghost fill every bit of our being, And then we can attain that thing that we're always trying to reach to, And trying to attain to.

[28:00] Paul said, Paul said, I want to apprehend that thing which, Which I was apprehended by. Amen. You know what that meant? What apprehended Paul? The same thing that apprehended Elisha, When Elijah came by, And let the hem of his garment, Just, Just, Just, Just brush against him, Amen.

[28:17] He said, Oh man, I felt that. Hallelujah. You know what? One day, Honey, About 37 years ago, My Lord, My God. Hallelujah. Jesus passed by me, And he let the hem of his garment just brush it.

[28:27] Shut up. Shut up. Just touch him in. I said, My Lord, What was that? What was that? I've never felt anything like that. I've never felt anything like that. And I left everything, That I might follow Jesus, That I might gain him, That I might win, And pressed toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God.

[28:41] But I need to fill you completely, From the top of your head, To the sole of your feet, So that there's not one empty space left inside of you, That's not filled with his spirit.

[28:52] Filled. Filled until it runs over. And then refilled. And then refilled again, And then refilled again as we pour out. Like poured out wine. Hallelujah. I love that song that says, Broken bread and poured out wine.

[29:07] Hath no form, Hath no shine. A picture of Jesus so divine, Is broken bread, Poured out wine. Amen. Thank you Jesus.

[29:17] Thank you Jesus. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, And it's God's desire and purpose for us to be filled, With power from on high. From the top of our heads, To the end of our toes.

[29:29] Amen. Permeated all through, Till it is soaked in. You just dip something down, It's like me lift it right out. It didn't get soaked. Leave it in there. God soaked me in the Holy Ghost, Till Lord I am permeated, Till it is running out my ears, Till I am completely died, Lord God.

[29:47] Who shot a mochorya sona la bahia, From the top of my head, To the sole of my feet. In Jesus name. The Holy Ghost isn't some garment to put on, When you come to church, Some show, It is some anointing that you get, When you grab the microphone, And all of a sudden, You got the preacher's anointing, Because you got the microphone.

[30:12] The Holy Ghost is something honey, That's life. It's your life. It's your life. It's your life. Without the Holy Ghost, There is no life.

[30:25] Can you say amen? But God wants us to be filled with it continually, Even the tiniest space that we have, Leaving no space or no room for the world, The flesh, Or the devil.

[30:42] Can you say amen? Amen? Romans 5 and 5, It said, And hope, Hope, Hope maketh not ashamed, For the love of God, Is shed abroad in our hearts.

[30:57] What is? What is shed abroad in our hearts? And what is the love of God? It's the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost, The Spirit of God, It's the love of God.

[31:08] And the love of God, Is shed abroad in our hearts, By the Holy Ghost. Amen? What does that mean? It's God is shining out of himself, To fill every dark, Empty space that we have.

[31:19] And once we get full of him, Then I won't want to, I won't want to curse anymore. I won't want to listen to any more dirty jokes. I won't want to drink anymore. I won't want to smoke anymore. The only thing I'm going to want, Is more of him.

[31:33] More of him. Amen? And Jesus said, The only way you're going to get more of me, Is you're going to have to empty out. Empty out. Yes. Yes. Yes. You got to pour it out. You got to pour it out.

[31:44] How do you pour it out? You pour it out by jumping up here and testifying, Giving you witness. You pour it out by walking out that door, And sometimes when you see somebody, Saying, Hey, Let me tell you about Jesus. Did you know he died for you?

[31:56] Amen? And if you pour it out, He'll put some more in. I hate to say this, But the Holy Ghost is stagnant in some of us, Because we ain't never poured it out. We got it? I got it. I got it.

[32:06] I don't know what to do with it, But I got it. I got it. Pour him out. Pour him out. Pour him out. You're filled with it. Amen? What was it? John 7, 37-39?

[32:17] It talks about, For out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. This spake he of the Holy Ghost, For the Spirit was not yet given. Amen? Out of your, Pour him out. Rivers of living water.

[32:28] Pour him out. Pour him out. And if you'll pour him out, He'll fill us again. Amen? Hallelujah. Shed abroad. That means that it's in circulation, That it's pouring forth, That it's gushing out, By the Holy Ghost.

[32:40] You don't see very many people gushing out, But you get around Jesse, And Jesse's gushing. He's gushing when you go to Jerry's. He's gushing on the way to the hospital, He's gushing at the hospital, He's gushing all the way back.

[32:52] Sister Connie said, He's gushing when he's home. He said, You go in the bathroom, Change clothes, He's still, He's there standing at the door, Just gushing out. He's just gushing. You know why he's pouring out? You know why he's pouring out for? Because if he pours it out, God's going to put some more in.

[33:04] Amen? You've got to pour it out, If you want some fresh new anointing. Amen? We need a fresh new anointing, But we've got to pour him out. Pour him out. Pour him out. Pour him out. The ministry of the Holy Ghost, Is to release a fresh, And a new anointing.

[33:17] Billows of God's love, In us and to us and through us, So that we may rejoice, And make his name known, And spread God's love, Everywhere we go. Do you know you leave an odor? A fragrance, A smell, Everywhere you go.

[33:33] And if you've got a bitter, Angry, Disposition and attitude, You leave that smell where you go. Amen? You can go in that room and throw a fit.

[33:46] You can walk out, Somebody else walk in, They say, What in the world happened to y'all? You know, They can see, What's just happened. Amen? But if you walk in there, Full of the power and the love of God, And you begin to tell them about Jesus, And you walk on out, Man, Honey, Somebody else walks in behind you, They say, Hey, What's going on around here?

[34:03] Why y'all so happy about, You know, Oh, Well, We're just thinking about Jesus. Amen? Thinking about Jesus. Did you know that the Bible said, In Malachi 3, That there is a book, Being written, For them, Who think often upon his name, If we just think on his name.

[34:18] How often do you think on his name? Honey, How often do you think about Jesus? It should be on our minds, 24 hours a day, Seven days a week. We should never, You know, We should walk in the Spirit, Live in the Spirit, And everything we do, We should be in the Spirit.

[34:29] Amen? Because that's the only way, We're going to be ready to go, When the trumpet sounds. Amen? I want to be ready, I know we're praying this morning, God don't let me miss it, God don't let me miss it, God don't let me miss it, God don't let me miss it, Please don't let me miss it.

[34:43] And I even prayed, Lord, If you see I'm going to miss it, Go ahead and take me now. Take me right now, Because I don't want to go through the tribulation. I really don't. You fear the tribulation, Brother Van? Yes I do. But don't you know, The Bible said that God has a place prepared, You know, And they're going to run into it, And I said, Yeah, I know that.

[34:58] I don't want to have to run there. If there's an escape, And there is an escape, I want to get through that door. Amen? And Jesus said, I am the door, To the sheep paw. Can somebody shout amen? Hallelujah.

[35:10] We need a new, And fresh feeling, Of the Holy Ghost, Every day of our life. If we will, Like I was talking last night, Speaking tongues, Well, Brother Van, I, You know, If I come to church, And the spirit gets really strong, And it might hit me, And I might speak a word or two, Honey, You need to speak in tongues all the time.

[35:30] You need, Hey, When I went down to Mexico, Different people on that ship, We were on, About 70 different countries there, And, They all speak English, Most of them was broken, But they all had another language.

[35:44] And, And somebody looks over to me, And said, Well, How many languages do you speak? And I said, I got three, I speak English, And I speak hillbilly, And I speak in tongues, Amen, I speak God's language.

[35:55] So I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, A bi, What do you call it? Trilingual. There you go, I'm a trilingual person, Amen. I speak in them foreign tongues, Amen.

[36:06] Hallelujah. And you know what? Here, Now, Why do we need to speak in tongues every day? Because it will, It will remind us, I'm saved. Wait a minute, That person make me mad. Oh, I just start speaking in tongues.

[36:17] And, And all of a sudden, You get over me mad, Because gee, You, Then you realize, Hey, I'm the temple of the Holy Ghost. God's dwelling in me. And, And, And I don't want to defile my temple by getting mad and telling him off. Even though they may deserve it. It doesn't matter if they deserve it or not.

[36:28] God, Feel me. God, God, Let, Let me speak in tongues. Lord, Let it get so full of me. That when somebody says something, If somebody hits me, We used to have a church, A person down there, A lady down there in, And, And, And, If you just walk up behind her, And, And you said, Excuse me.

[36:42] Just, Just, You know, She didn't know you were there. Just start speaking in tongues. You say, That's crazy. Not if you're full of it. Not if you're full of it. Did you ever carry a bucket that's full of water?

[36:54] Honey? Oh, Oh, Oh, Yeah, It's going to slosh over the top. Amen? Every time you, Every time you wiggle and walk when you go, It's going to be splashing out. Amen? If you're full of the Holy Ghost, Everybody you get close to, Hey, You're going to splosh a little bit over there.

[37:08] Splosh a little bit over there. Amen? They're going to be getting drenched with your Holy Spirit. Amen? And, And he said, Freely you have received. Freely give. We can give it away.

[37:19] Paul said, I desire to come to you that I might impart to you some spiritual gift. And, And, And, And, And, And, And what's it say that, What's his name? Said that when he saw that, That, That the, That the Holy Ghost was, Was imparted by the laying on of hands, He said, Give me that gift.

[37:37] Amen? That I might do it. Amen? Over in Acts 19, Where it says that, That Jesus Christ, Actually it talks about, Paul was, Was preaching to him.

[37:51] He said, If you've received the Holy Ghost, Then you believe. And they said, We didn't even hear that to be, He said, Well, Well, What were you baptized to? Was baptized under John's baptism. Amen? And then, Paul preached Jesus to them.

[38:02] And when they heard that, Amen? He said, Here's water, You know, Let's get baptized. When they heard the word, They got baptized, You know what happened? Paul laid his hands on them. Paul laid his hands on them.

[38:14] Paul laid his hands on them. And they got the Holy Ghost. He laid his hands on them. He imparted the spirit to them. Amen? He said, Here, I've got enough. My cup runneth over. Let me give you a little bit of what I got. Amen? Don't you want to go somewhere, Where you can give somebody a little bit of what you got?

[38:27] Because you got more than enough. Amen? By God, He said, God of more than enough. He wants his people to be people of more than enough. More than enough. More than enough. I tell you, Just give it out. You give it out. It just oozes out of you.

[38:38] Just oozes out of you. Man, I want the Holy Ghost just to ooze out of my skin. Somebody said, Oh, You feel oily. Yes, That's the Holy Ghost coming out of me. Amen? Or is it the skin so soft? One or the other. Hallelujah.

[38:51] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The devil is trying to satisfy our longings and our cravings for godly things with worldly things. How many knows that? Man, That's why. Did you ever notice how that, How that, Years ago, A spiritual song came by, And we were singing that song for years.

[39:08] You know, Songs like, Power in the Blood. Songs like, Amazing Grace. Songs like, All Rugged Cross. And now, You know, We gotta have fresh songs every week.

[39:19] And songs we sang last week, We really, We really tired. We want something new. We want something new. We want something fresh. You know, Back there, What our grandparents had, That was good for their day.

[39:30] Amen? They still had 30 or 40 or 50 or 75 years to live yet. Honey, We're living in the last day. We, We, We gotta grab hold of something new. Something alive. Something that's real. Amen? We got, He's passing by.

[39:41] He's passing by. He's been, He's been in Riverside here this last month. Or so, Just so powerful that it's, It's almost, Defies description. And speaking of that, Anybody seen Kevin this morning?

[39:59] Praise God. But without the Holy Ghost to lead us and guide us, You know what happens? We lose our distinction. Without the Holy Ghost leading us and guide us, Without being full of it, We lose our distinction.

[40:11] And then you can't tell us from the world. Then we act like the world. We dress like the world. We, We even begin to talk like the world. We go to worldly places. Amen? Hallelujah.

[40:22] You know, I, There's so many things that we do now that we think is okay that, That if the saints that have already gone on, That, That, That had real, Real holiness, They look at us, They say, Man, I'm praying for that church that they're going to get saved.

[40:40] Because they go to places that we would never go. Where are things we never were? They, They, They talk like things we wouldn't, I saw somebody the other day, And they, They were talking about the Baptist folk up here that, That some of these Baptist folk got the Holy Ghost.

[40:53] And, And they live a, A, A, A cleaner, More holy life than us. Then we're supposed to be Pentecostal. Amen? And I don't doubt that a bit. Because there's a real Holy Ghost and there's a false Holy Ghost.

[41:06] A real Holy Ghost is going to lead you and guide you into all the truth. A false Holy Ghost is going to say, Well, You're all right. You're saved. You're sanctified. You feel the Holy Ghost. You know, You, You, You just go out and you take all those sinful things.

[41:17] And it's all right because God's going to overlook all that. Well, Somebody might not think anything about saying, Well, God, Darn it. Well, Honey, That's just a Christian way of cussing.

[41:29] You ever do any Christian cussing? Oh, My God. With Jesus Christ. Does that sound holy?

[41:42] Does that sound righteous? You know, Honey, There was a time when we really watched our mouth. We really watched, We watched what we said. We watched who we went around.

[41:56] And then we, You know, The reason that the world makes fun of us, You know, We come in here on Saturday night. We'll stay here at 11 or 12 o'clock, Hooping and hollering and jumping and shouting and shaking and rolling and all that stuff.

[42:10] And then we go outside, Light up our cigarettes, Get us a beer on the way home and, And honk at somebody else's wife going down the street or some woman or something, You know, And, And, And go to church the next day. And you're telling jokes to all your friends there at work.

[42:21] And, And you know what they're thinking is, They're not, Probably won't tell you this. I thought they had the Holy Ghost. I thought they was, I thought they had, I thought they claimed to have something different than the rest of us.

[42:33] Can you say amen? How many knows what I'm talking about? Amen. You've been there, You understand that. Amen. Look, Look with us in, In John 4 and 23. Amen.

[42:44] Get your temple full. Don't, Don't leave any space left for the devil to come in. John 4 and 23 on page 96 if you got a date. John 4 and 23 says, But the hour cometh, And now is when true worshippers, Shall worship the Lord in the spirit, And in the truth, For the Father seeketh such to worship him.

[43:05] God is a spirit. And they that worship him, Must worship him in the spirit, And in the truth. Can somebody say amen? Go, Go verse 16 through 18.

[43:18] Verse 16. And Jesus said unto her, Go call thy husband. I'm sorry, Go to John 14 and 16. Yes, John 14 and 16.

[43:34] He said, And I will pray the Father, And he will give you another comforter, That he may abide with you forever. Even the spirit of truth, Whom the world cannot receive, But ye seeth him, But ye seeth, Because it seeth him not, Neither knoweth him, But ye know him, For he dwelleth in you, With you, And he shall be in you.

[43:55] Can you say amen? I will not leave you comfortless. I, Everybody say I, Will, Come, To you.

[44:07] Amen. Let me just read it one more time here, So I can, I got my Bible so marked up, I have trouble reading it sometimes. It says, And I will pray the Father, Well, Let's read verse 15, Because you can't leave that out of, If you love me, Keep my commandments.

[44:21] And what is the greatest commandment? He said, Here's the greatest commandment, Love thy God, With all thy heart, With all thy soul, With all thy strength, With all thy might.

[44:33] And the second is likened to the first, Here's what we got to do, Listen, Love thy neighbor, As thyself. By this mention, You know that you're my disciples. Amen. If you love me, Keep my commandments, And I will pray the Father, And he shall give you another comforter, That he may abide with you forever, Even the spirit of truth, Whom the world cannot receive, Because it seeth him not, Neither knoweth him, But ye shall know him, For he dwelleth with you, And he shall be in you.

[44:58] I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. Yet a little while, And the world seeth me no more, But ye see me, And because I live, Ye shall live also.

[45:09] Can somebody say amen? Go on down to the 15th chapter, In the 26th verse. It says, But when the comforter is come, Whom I will send unto you, From the Father, Even the spirit of truth, Which proceedeth from the Father, Shall he testify of me?

[45:27] Can you say amen? And he shall bear witness, Because ye have been with me, From the beginning. And ye shall bear witness, Because ye have been with me, From the beginning.

[45:37] Amen? You know, When you've been with the Lord, From the beginning, He recognizes that.

[45:51] I got a drink of water, While I go and I thought, Brother Wayne's going to get a reward, Because he brings that water out here, And it's faithful. Amen? And when I take a drink of that water, I'm thinking, Lord bless Brother Wayne, Because he gave me a drink of that water. Amen?

[46:02] You can't do anything, Anything for God, Without him recognizing it, And rewarding you for it. And we'll hear along here, Just about through. John 16 and 13 says, When the spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth.

[46:21] But try the spirits. Just because somebody says they have the Holy Ghost, Don't mean they got the Holy Ghost. Amen? Look at the way they act. Watch the way they dress. Listen to their talk. There used to be a colored minister, Supposed to be a minister.

[46:36] He'd come in the Ford garage down there, And when he got around me, He was all just, You know, Holy, And he had all these little sayings, And Christ is nice, And take my advice, And all that kind of stuff.

[46:49] But then he would get around the others around there, And he was telling these filthy, Dirty jokes and everything. He'd go in the office, And the ladies in the office Just hated to see him come in there, Because he was always making some kind of vulgar insinuation.

[47:02] And then he won't come and preach up here at Riverside. I said, Honey, I said, When you get saved, Then you can preach at my church. But until then, You ain't coming. Amen? Hallelujah. There's a real Holy Ghost, And there's a fake Holy Ghost.

[47:14] And the real Holy Ghost, Will give you spiritual insight, To see what it is, It's in your life. We may see it, But we ain't going to take no advice from you. God, You're going to show me what's wrong with me.

[47:25] And then I'll, With your help, Me and you will deal with it. Amen? Beloved, Believe not of every spirit, But try the spirit, To see whether they be of God. Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ, Is come in the flesh, Is not of God.

[47:38] And here's by the, That you shall know them. But every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ, Is come in the flesh, Is of God. But greater is he that is in you, Than he that's in the world.

[47:49] Amen? Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. The final truth to be learned, And everything that I've said today, About the Holy Ghost is this, And it's in Ephesians 5, 18. Be not drunk with wine, Where as in excess, But be filled, With the spirit.

[48:06] This is one of God's commands, It's not like, You know, It's not a suggestion, I think y'all need to get filled, With the spirit, You know. And the word be, Is a present tense.

[48:18] I'm filled with the spirit today, But tomorrow is Monday, And Monday, All the woes that come with Monday, Are going to be there, Knocking on my door. All kind of problems, And trials, And tribulations, And everything, And pressures, And, But you know what, The Monday, I got to be, I got to still be filled, Filled, Be filled, Be not drunk with wine, Where is that excess, But be filled, With the spirit.

[48:42] Amen? Be filled, Present tense, Continually experiencing, The overflowing love of God. The Holy Ghost is God's pure love power, Out to us, And on us, And in us, And through us.

[48:53] A heart that is full of the Holy Ghost, Can never say, Or even think, I can't live for God anymore. I took all that religion, I can stand. I just can't, I have had enough, You know, Going over there, And all that loud music, And hooping and hollering, I just, If you're full of the Holy Ghost, Honey, That thought won't even be allowed, To cross your mind, You won't even think, You know, I don't think I'll make another trip, To Louisville, I done had enough, You know, It won't even get to cross your mind, Get out of here devil, I know where them negative thoughts, Come on, Listen, Listen, Every negative thought, Every thought that is not holy, That is not pure, That is not just, That is not righteous, Is coming from the devil, To destroy you, And if you'll, If you'll listen, If you'll believe, That thought the devil, Is placed in your mind, You'll quit, You'll be up one day, And down the next, You'll be in and out, You'll be hot and cold, You'll be lukewarm, You won't be worth a dime, For nothing to nobody, Amen, But if you'll get filled, Stay filled, Go around filled, Just splashing out, Amen, Then you'll be a blessing, To everybody you come to, Ephesians 5, 19 through 20,

[49:54] It says, Speaking unto yourselves, In psalms, And hymns, And spiritual songs, Amen, How does God, God wants you to talk to yourself, God wants you to talk to yourself, Speaking to yourselves, In psalms, Amen, Psalms and hymns, Don't nobody want to listen to me, Talk to yourself, Psalms and hymns, And spiritual songs, Making melody in your heart, To the Lord, Amen, Caution 3, 16, It said, Let the word of God, Dwell in you richly, In all wisdom, Teaching and admonishing, One another, In psalms, And hymns, And spiritual songs, How do you keep, You'll be the whole, It goes, Brother Van, How do you do that?

[50:31] First thing you got to do, You got to have a love for God's word, And then safeguard the word, See God chose you all, To be here today, God chose you all, To be here, To hear about, Being filled with the Holy ghost, Now you can just, Wad it up, Throw it in a corner, Forget it, Or you can take it, Say wait a minute, I need to, I need to stay filled, The key field, You got to safeguard God's word, You got to speak to yourself, Speak to yourself, Listen there you stupid idiot, You shouldn't have done that, And you know better, You ever get out the mirror, And start talking to yourself, Listen there devil, Talking to you devil, I ain't talking to you devil, You old hypocrite, You old liar, Speak to yourself, How do you stay filled, Speak to yourself, I am more than a conqueror, Through Jesus Christ, Who strengthens me, I can do all things, God loved me enough, He died for me, Now he wants me to love him, Enough to die for him, Amen,

[51:31] To lay down my life, That's why God wants us, To be able to say like Paul, I'm crucified with Christ, Nevertheless I live, You're not I, But Christ liveth in me, And the life that I now live, In the flesh, It is no longer I that live it, Amen, Amen, Speak to yourself, And sing spiritual songs, To yourself, You know you can't sing, I love that old time, Rock and roll, Oh, You might sing, I love that old time, Holy ghost, But honey, That's a powerful song, Old time holy ghost, You don't really know, What you're saying, When you say, I love that old time, Holy ghost like my mama had, Like my grandmama had, Amen, Like Peter and James and John had, Man, That made them separate themselves, From everything, And not care to be cut off, Because they knew that Jesus Christ, Was their supply, Amen, He was everything to them, Amen, Help us to offer ourselves, Speaking unto ourselves, In psalms and hymns, And spiritual songs, Will help us to offer ourselves, Up to Jesus Christ, Without spot, And without wrinkle, And without blemish,

[52:32] Which is only a reasonable service, Romans 12, 1 and 2, Be not conformed to this world, He said, I beseech you brethren, By the mercies of God, That you present your bodies, As living sacrifices, Present your bodies, As a living sacrifice, Present your bodies, As a living sacrifice, How did a living sacrifice, Have to be in the Old Testament, Before they could offer it, As a sacrifice for a sin offering, Or peace offering, Or a whole burn offering, Had to be holy, Without spot, Or wrinkle, Or blemish, No sickness, No mange on it, No, you know, Not weak eyed, Or weak legged, Or you know, You had to offer your best, He said, Present your bodies, As living sacrifices, Holy and acceptable unto God, Which is but your reasonable service, And be not conformed to this world, But be you transformed, By the renewing of your mind, If you hang around the world, If you look at the world, You're going to start talking like the world, And running with the world, And honey, Pretty soon, You're going to be worldly, But if you don't hang around with people, You hang around with Christians, You think about things that are spiritual,

[53:34] You're just going to church all the time, Then honey, You're going to be churchy, You're going to be religious, You're going to be holy, You're going to be full of the Holy Ghost, Amen, You're going to be filled, And then God's going to start to use you, A lot of people are saying, Jesus, Use me, But we won't allow the Holy Ghost to work on us, To get us in a position where He can use us, Amen, How many wants to be used to God?

[53:56] You got to get filled, Stay filled, Stay filled, Let it slosh out everywhere you go, When He says, Hey, They're going to stay filled, I can send them out there, And they're going to let my light shine, Amen, They'll let the world see that, That the King is a resident here, Praise God, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, So we learn that we get baptized, We get anointed, We get endued, And we get filled, And like Brother Jesse said last week, And you can get them all at one time, Peter got it all at once, We couldn't hardly stand it, Because the disciples, They said, Lord, Said, Have we not forsaken everything to follow you?

[54:38] We've forsaken houses, And lands, And families, And we forsook everything to follow you, Have we forsook everything? Jesus said, When He sent them out, I said, Don't take two coats with you, He said, Don't take no thought for tomorrow, You know, What you may eat or drink, Or what you may say, You know, He said, Don't worry about none of that stuff, Amen, They were holy, And they forsook all, You know what the Lord said, He said, He said, You can't do anything for me in this lifetime, Then I'm not going to reward you for, In the world to come, Oh, And ten times, What you ever thought, You ever gave up for me, Amen, Everything you give up for the Lord, Honey, There is a reward for it, God, I'm giving this up for you, This is part of my old flesh, That old stinking old nature, That I was born with, But I'm laying it down for you, He says, Honey, I'm marking that down, And when you get here, I'm going to give you something, That's going to be so much more greater, That you'll think, My Lord, Did I ever even let that little old thing, There, Even think about coming between me, And getting what God has got for me, Amen, He wants to bless us, He wants to bless us, And any little thing we do, Any little thing we do,

[55:40] God sees it, And He notes it down, And we're going to be blessed for it, Amen, We're going to receive a reward, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, In Jesus name, Everybody say amen, Amen, Amen, Amen,
