Smoke of His Name: Part 1

[0:00] really know we have it or you just want to hope you got it and never really know. So what in the world would cause people to come out on Sunday morning and and carry on like this, worship like this? Extreme, extreme worship, amen?

[0:20] I believe I serve an extreme God and that my God desires extreme worship and praise. Can you say amen?

[0:33] I've got a vast subject today. Brother Jay said something last night that most of the stuff that probably I preach goes right over the top of your head and it probably does because 99% of what I'm studying, I'm studying for myself. I've only been studying the Bible for 35 years so I'm just now beginning to realize how little that I know and how great God is and how God has put his whole word together and from Genesis to Revelation it's just one big continuous story.

[1:08] Wait, cut me down there baby. Amen. One big continuous story, amen. And it's about how that the church of Jesus Christ has victory, victory, victory, amen. How that how that God would bless them and and and man they would they would soar, they would sacrifice to God, they would do everything that God pleased them and then then after God blessed them then they'd forget God and they'd go back into sin and God have to cause some other calamity to come upon them but buddy when they came up praising God they came up praising God. Amen. And you know it's the same way with us. God will bless our socks off and then we may not even come back to church the next service and and you know and and some folks going out and even forget about God and and and Jesus said one time said my people have committed two great evils. They've they've uh forgotten me days without end. Forgotten me? How in the world can you know can a bride forget her ornaments? That's what he asked. He said but my people have forgotten me days without end. Amen. So we don't want to be guilty of that. Amen. I've got a deep subject I want to talk about this morning.

[2:15] I want to talk about the smoke. I was born in a fire and the smoke don't satisfy and I want to talk about the smoke of his name. Amen. I told you it's deep. The smoke of his name. Does anybody know what smoke is?

[2:34] Pardon me. I've had a terrible head cold. Smoke is the evidence of a fire. Smoke is those carbonated particles that that that are suspended in the air that you can visually see but it's the evidence of something that is greater than it is.

[2:57] Paul one time he said he said I want to be I want to apprehend that which apprehended me.

[3:10] Amen. Elijah was out there in the field plowing with 12 yoke of oxen and Elijah came by and just dropped his mantle over him and he said hey let me go bury my mom and dad and let me go tell my mom and dad and you know tell them about everything. Elijah looked around him so what's that got to do with me? But you know what had happened? Oh it's a dirty trick.

[3:27] He didn't let him feel the power. He didn't let him experience the glory. Hey all it took. All it took. All it took was that mantle. Amen. All it took. Amen. Hallelujah. You know that was the same mantle that that old Elijah got down and prayed on.

[3:42] That was the same mantle that he had got down on his knees and he wrapped himself in it and he and he showed him with God in a secret place. He said God don't let it rain for three and a half years. And God, God, the Bible said God shut up the rain until it did not fall again until Elijah prayed again. Amen. Elijah prayed again. Amen.

[3:56] What happened when he prayed again? He went up on that mountain and he took his little servant boy up there with him and he got down and he prayed seven times before it ever happened. I can see him right now down on his knees wrapped up in that in that prayer shawl.

[4:08] I mean that mantle. And when he went by there, oh Elijah that day, hallelujah. You know the Bible said the Apostle Paul, amen, after he would minister he would cut parts of his apron off which was his prayer shawl. Another way, you know, they call it several different things.

[4:20] And he would send it out to people that when it was placed on their body they'd be healed. Can you imagine a man who did these miracles that Elijah did and all the power, the anointing that was in everything he touched, amen, because he had been with God, amen, and the power, the Shekinah glory was all over him and all he had to do, all Elijah had to do, man, just drop that, just let it, you know, hey, you know, my Lord, just take Chris, come here the other night.

[4:43] Amen. What happened? What happened? What happened this time that was different than the other time? And honey, this time he felt that power. He felt that anointing, amen, and it changes your life. It makes you want to leave everything else behind and follow Jesus, amen.

[4:53] And that's what it's all about. If you got your Bible, turn me to the book of Isaiah, the fourth chapter, Isaiah 4 and 1, and I don't intend to be that long today.

[5:09] The smoke of his name, amen. We found out about the dust of his name going through the Red Sea, amen. Hallelujah. And smoke is another name for a cloud.

[5:24] You know, if you ever go by LG&E and you look up there and you see those big old smoke stacks, looks like they're making clouds, doesn't it? But you know what we were doing around here this morning, saints? When you pick up those feet, if you had, you know, a lot of times they'll, a vacuum cleaner salesperson will bring a real bright light in your house and they'll tell you to stomp the floor and then you stomp the floor and they put that lamp down there and you see all those dust particles that are coming up, amen.

[5:48] How much more if we're in the house of God and if all of us are in unison and we're stomping our feet, man, and we're sinning up, you know what those are? Those are glory clouds, amen. Hallelujah.

[5:58] And you don't know the power that's in, you don't know, you do not, you cannot conceive the power that is in the clouds of glory. When we come in here, we worship God, amen. Not trying to impress anybody.

[6:09] We're not trying to impress Sister D. You're certainly not trying to impress me because I've been here too long. We're not trying to impress anybody except we're dancing before our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, amen. We want to please him.

[6:21] Amen. We want to please him and we want our life to be pleasing unto him. Let me read the few verses here, Isaiah, the fourth chapter, beginning in the first verse. He said, And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread and wear our own apparel.

[6:37] Only let us be called by thy name to take away our reproach. In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious.

[6:49] And the fruit, now, let me just stop there because you're probably thinking about a branch off of a tree. This branch has nothing to do with a tree. This branch is the Lord Jesus Christ. The branch is the Lord Jesus Christ.

[7:00] In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious. And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and calmly for them that are escaped of Israel.

[7:13] And this shall come to pass that he that is left in Zion and he that remaineth in Jerusalem shall be called holy, even everyone that is written among the living in Jerusalem.

[7:26] Amen. When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning.

[7:43] And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion and upon her assemblies a cloud and smoke by day and a shining of a flaming fire by night.

[7:59] For upon all the glory shall be a defense. For upon all the glory shall be a defense. For upon all, for upon all, upon everyone, the glory shall be a defense.

[8:15] Amen. Amen. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat and for a place of refuge and for a covert from the storm and from rain.

[8:30] Let's bow our head with the Lord in prayer. Lord Jesus, fathers, we come before you today. Lord God, we need you, Lord, to quicken your precious word to us today, Lord God. Without your Holy Spirit anointing us, it's just a dead letter, Lord God.

[8:42] But Lord, when your spirit comes by, your spirit giveth life, Lord. We ask you, Lord God, to quicken our minds and our hearts today. Lord, as the soul went forth and sowed the seed, Lord God, let me sow the seed of the word today.

[8:53] And let some of it fall at good ground and bring forth some of the thirty and some sixty and some a hundredfold. Lord, so that when you come, you'll find us as fruit-bearing Christians. In Jesus' name. And everybody say amen. Amen. How many of you may need to be your pastor?

[9:16] Well, I'm getting ready to go to work now and earn my keep. Amen. That, that, those six verses there are so powerful.

[9:27] I can actually feel the glory of God running up and down my arms and down my legs. Amen. Because of all of the revelations that God is just, just, just flooding me with. What is going to happen and all these things.

[9:39] It said in that day, in that day, in what day? In the third day. The third day. Amen. A lot of things are going to happen on the third day. We're, we're in, we're going into that third day right now.

[9:50] The third day is the millennial reign. The, the, the day of Jesus Christ. Amen. It's after the rapture and after the tribulation period. Amen. And, and there's going to be all kinds of things going to happen in the third day.

[10:03] People are not going to die anymore. Child's going to be, may it be called a child at a hundred years old. Here's what, here's how it starts out. In the end that day. In that day, seven women are going to take hold of one man.

[10:17] So just let us be called by your name. We, we, we, we, we'll, you don't have to do it. You know, there was a law that, that Moses gave them that, you know, if you take a husband, take a wife, you're supposed to supply a roof over a head and food for her and raiment for her and keep her and take care of all that.

[10:30] You don't have to be under none of those obligations. Just let us be called by your name to take away our reproach. Why were there not enough men? Because during the battle of Armageddon, the Bible said that the, that the blood is going to flow in that valley of Megiddo, which is a huge, vast valley, probably three miles wide.

[10:47] Maybe more than that. Because I stood up on, on, on, on Mount Carmel, looked over to Mount Hebron and it was, it's a long way. And then I forget how many miles long it is, but the blood is going to be at your horse's brow. That means there's going to be a lot of people are going to die.

[11:00] And there's not going to be enough men to go around in that day. Amen. Hallelujah. So women are going to be going to be trying to find somebody that they can call, you know, have their name called over. Because in those days, it's not that way anymore.

[11:12] It should be, but it's not. It was a reproach for you to not have a husband. Amen. For you not to have somebody that, you know, now anymore people not hardly bothering to get married, but that's not the way it was.

[11:23] And that's not the way it will be. Amen. In the millennial reign. Amen. Hallelujah. During the millennial reign, King David is going to set up his throne and he's going to rule under Christ Jesus.

[11:35] And Christ Jesus is going to rule over all the earth for a thousand years. Can somebody say amen? Hallelujah. And on every tabernacle and on every house, there's going to be a cloud and smoke.

[11:49] Think about it. Maybe you didn't read that. Did you read that there? Let me just, let me just read it to you one more time. Verse 5th verse. And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion and upon her assemblies a cloud and a smoke by day.

[12:11] That's what I want to talk about. I want to talk about a cloud and a smoke by day. Amen. A lot of things are going to happen. Lots and lots of things are going to happen. Hallelujah. The Lord is going to put his name upon every house.

[12:22] That day of the Lord is a thousand years. It says 2 Peter 3.8. It says, brother, be not even concerning this one thing, that a day with the Lord is a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. In that day, in that thousand year millennial reign, amen, is when all this is going to happen.

[12:36] The Lord will create upon every dwelling. Now, if you go back to the book of Genesis, I'm sorry, Exodus 13th chapter and the 21st verse and 22nd verse, it says, and the Lord gave them a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

[12:53] Amen. And the 22nd verse says, and he took not the cloud and the fire away from them. In other words, they had a visible manifestation of the glory and the power of God for 40 years in the wilderness.

[13:05] Amen. Now, most folks think that when they got to Canaan's land, all that ceased. And it did cease and they think that's all of it. But, honey, let me tell you what. It's going to happen again. Amen. According to the word of God, I can feel the power coming down now.

[13:17] It's going to happen again. Amen. Hey, we're going to feel the visible presence. God is going to cause a cloud of glory, of Shekinah glory to rest upon each house.

[13:27] Amen. And in that house, in that cloud is the name of the most high God. Amen. And you know, what is his name? Let me tell you what. The ultimate name.

[13:38] He's got many names. Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Yahweh, Jehovah, Jireh, God Almighty. He's got all these kind of names. But all these kind of, all these names just consummate up to one great big mountain.

[13:50] And on top of that mountain, it's got a name written that's above every name. That at the name of Jesus Christ, every knee shall bow. Of things in heaven, and things on the earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords.

[14:04] To the glory of God the Father. Amen. Do you know how that God gave Jesus a name that's above every name? Because he gave him his own name. Amen. And the name of God is above every name.

[14:14] Can you say amen? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I don't want to, I don't want to, go to Isaiah 30 with me. Let's flip over to Isaiah 30 to see what he's got to say about this. Because I wrote a bunch of these notes down this morning.

[14:25] I want to read the first verse, then I want to go down to the eighth verse. Isaiah 30 said, Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me.

[14:40] That cover with a covering, but not of my spirit. That they may add sin to sin. Go down to verse eight. Now go, write it before them at a table.

[14:51] And note it in a book that it may be for the time to come forever and ever. That this is a rebellious people. Lying children. Children that will not hear the law of the Lord.

[15:03] Which say to the seers, that means the prophets. See not. And to the prophets, prophesy. Prophesy not unto us right things. Speak unto us smooth things.

[15:14] Prophesy deceits. Get you out of the way. Turn aside out of the path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. That's what they're saying. Listen, it's almost preposterous.

[15:28] It says, This little black black book that I have right here in my hand.

[15:41] Is the only book in the whole wide world that tells you how to live. Amen. How to walk. How to talk. How to act. How to dress. It's the only book that tells you how to get from earth to glory.

[15:53] Amen. Because there is only one way. Amen. Amen. And what is that way? Amen. John 14 and 6. Jesus said, I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. And no man comes to the Father but by me.

[16:06] Amen. Hallelujah. Praise God. This is what he says here now. For work for us, saith the Holy One of Israel, because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression, and perverseness, and stay there on, therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall.

[16:23] Now, I wish I could draw you a picture. You remember who's the little boy that stuck his thumb in the dam when the dam was about ready to break? Huh? Oh, this is it. Huh? The little Dutch boy.

[16:34] Amen. There was a great big dam, and it was holding back a great big wall of water, and it sprung a leak, and the little Dutch boy went over there and stuck his finger in the dam and saved the city.

[16:44] Amen. That's how somebody came. But I want you to see what he's saying right here. He's saying that there is a breach. The wall is beginning to bulge out. Let me read it to you here. Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant, and it shall break it as the breaker of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces, and he shall not spare, so that there shall not be found in the bursting of a sherd to take fire from the hearth or to take water out of the pit.

[17:19] Now, what is it talking about? It's talking about that God is holding judgment back off of this world right now. But if you can only see that the walls are bulging out, it's just about ready to break forth, and when it does break forth, honey, the Bible said that if the righteous scarcely enter in, then wherein shall the sinner and the ungodly appear.

[17:43] And judgment must begin at the house of God. Amen? Hallelujah. If you could only see how close we are to standing to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the rapture of the born-again church of God.

[17:54] Amen? And to the installation of the tribulation period. Then, honey, let me tell you what. I would have to beg you not to smoke, drink, cuss, cheat, lie on you, cheat on your wife, and all these other kind of things.

[18:05] Because, honey, you say, Oh, my Lord, it's going to happen. It's going to happen. It's going to happen. I pray to God that you get the same vision I got, that it is going to happen, and it may happen today. If it don't happen today, it's going to happen tonight. If it don't happen tonight, it's going to happen tomorrow.

[18:15] Amen? And I live every day, and I've lived every day watching for that thing. Amen? Why? Why are you like that, brother? Because God put godly fear down inside of me. I've got godly fear. Amen? I got saved because I didn't want to die and go to hell.

[18:27] Wouldn't it be awful that after I have lived for the Lord all these years that I should grow cold in my experience toward Him and read these words like this, that it's bulging out, it's ready to break forth, and still not be stirred up, and still not say, God, draw me close to you.

[18:41] But the Lord says that in that day, the sun's going to be seven times hotter. The moon shall shine as the sun.

[18:53] In that day, you think, Brother Ben, you're making that up. Wait a minute. I've got a scripture here for you. It's in, uh, I wrote it down here, but I wrote it down so small, it'll take me just a moment to find it.

[19:05] Amen? Uh, go to verse 25. And there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every high hill rivers and streams of water in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall.

[19:20] We saw the towers fall here a couple years ago, didn't we? Moreover, the light of the moon shall be as the, as the light of the sun. Now, can you imagine? Can you imagine?

[19:32] That the light of the moon is going to be as bright as the light of the sun. And, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold as the light of seven days in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of the people and healeth the stroke of the wounds.

[19:47] I wish I could get all of y'all to, to, to read Jeremy Jenkins and Tim LaHaye's left behind series. Because in the last one, and, and I got my name on the list for the next one, but in the last one, it, uh, they're in the middle of the tribulation period.

[20:02] And, and, uh, the, the, the sun is burning so hot that nobody can even go outside. If they go outside, they die. Amen? But because these have the mark of God on them.

[20:14] Amen? How many knows, how many knows in, uh, Revelation 14, that there's a mark of the beast? Revelation 13 tells you all about it. Revelation 14 said, Amen, take that mark. You know, he's doomed to damn forever. Amen? But, the Bible also says that God's people have a mark.

[20:28] And, of course, you know, their revelation is, and this is just a story, you know, but it's taken out of the Bible. But it's not going to happen exactly like that. But it's, it's, it's to, it's to, you know, give you knowledge of the Bible and give you a picture of what's going to happen.

[20:38] Amen? And, and because they have the mark, they have the cross in their forehead and all, and you got to be another Christian to be able to see the mark. The sinners can't see the mark. Amen? Isn't it, isn't it true today?

[20:49] Sinners are still blind. Amen? Hallelujah. But you don't have to talk with somebody very long until you find out if they're a Christian or not. Because, amen, honey, it's, it's a mark. My mama used to sing that song.

[21:00] I lost my reputation when I turned my back on sin. And a lot of friends went with it when I let the Savior in. Now they pass me by unnoticed when they once paused with a smile. And they say I'm very foolish.

[21:11] And they say I'm out of style. But I'm marked. Marked, marked. I'm marked wherever I go. I'm marked. Marked because, what is it? Marked. Everyone seems to know.

[21:23] I'm sealed. Sealed. Sealed by the Spirit divine. Oh, glory to God. Hallelujah. Amen? I'm His. And I know He's mine. Amen? Because they have the mark, they can go out in the daytime when, when, when, when this World Federation Council is, you know, is out there trying to find them all and hunt them down and kill them.

[21:38] Amen? Just, you know, like it's going to be during the Tribulation period. You can't buy our sale except you have the mark or, or the number of His name and all this, all this stuff. Amen? You need to, you need to listen to it. I'm not telling you it's factual.

[21:49] I'm just telling you that it, it has a biblical, uh, background and, and, and maybe to put a little fear of God in and let you see, you know, some of the things are going to happen. And it's talking about this right here about the sun being so bright that you can't, hey, can you imagine we go out today and then maybe the temperature be, well, maybe not that, in the middle of the summer the temperature be 90 degrees, you know, or maybe 95 or maybe here in Louisville we're going to top out at 100.

[22:09] How would you like to go out at the middle of the night and the, and the moon is shining as bright as the sun and it's 90 or 100 degrees at nighttime and that's the cool part of the day because tomorrow morning when the sun comes up, amen, it's going to be seven times hotter than that.

[22:26] Think about it. But anything going to be left? Yes. Because upon every dwelling place I'm going to have a cloud and a smoke and the cloud and the smoke shall be for a covering and a protection.

[22:42] Now I've got to tell you this because nobody knows for sure so this is speculation. When the rapture takes place the rapture is for overcomers. It's for people who are walking in all the light that the Lord has shined on their pathway, amen, and not trying to make an excuse for sin to continue to live in sin, amen, and those people are going to make the rapture.

[23:02] Those who are not walking that way are not going to make the rapture. They're going into the tribulation period. And in the tribulation period they're going to have to die. They're either going to take the mark of the beast or the number of his name or they're going to die.

[23:18] Revelation 12 and 14 says and they overcame by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives unto death, amen. They gave their life. Revelation 7 tells you about it. He said I saw a number that no man could number having on white robes and I said to the angel that was showing me around.

[23:33] He said what are these which have one of the white robes and he said sir thou knowest these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb, amen. Hallelujah. Hey this is real.

[23:45] I'm not making that up. Now that is revelation, amen. That's the 7th chapter and that's the 12th chapter and then it tells you about it in the 12th chapter also that down in the 25th verse what it tells you the first part of the chapter he said I saw a woman she had a crown of 12 stars around her head and the moon under her feet and she was clothed down to the foot and she was pregnant ready to have a child and the dragon stood there ready to devour the child as soon as it was born but when it was born it was called up into heaven, amen.

[24:12] And the woman ran into the wilderness where she had the place prepared there for God and she stays there for time, times and a half time which is three and a half years and you know and of course they're into that they're going down to the land of Moab and to the place called Petra which means rock and it's just a rock and a fortress that's you know like just a few people can protect it from you know everything that the devil can throw at them because besides all that God is going to have a shield of protection of them, amen.

[24:44] Like President Bush is wanting to install the Star Wars technology so that Russia, China or any kind of nuts out there in these other countries can't send a missile over here because we can take lasers and just shoot that missile down, amen.

[24:58] Well how much more and you need to read this book you need and of course it's you know you're way behind now because rapture law will take place before you get time to read the books but you know they're up there and they're flying in this helicopter and this enemy is coming at them and they got their you know they shoot the missile and they see the missile going and they're all scared of what's going to happen and all of a sudden the missile passes right through their airplane goes out the other side and they say did you see that?

[25:26] Why? Because God protected them because God protected them amen because they are the tribulation force what tribulation force? In Revelation 7 it also tells you about how that there's going to be 12,000 out of every tribe that is going to be sealed in their foreheads amen and about the angel that's going to go around and preach the everlasting gospel to everybody that's in the world this is this is this is so exciting to me can you tell I'm excited amen because I can see it happening in my time we may wake up tomorrow morning and read on the news about people being missing amen and if we're not living the life that God has called us to live we'll be one of them that's left behind we'll be one of them that goes into the tribulation period amen and I don't want to be in that number but those that do those that are saved they're going to there's 144,000 evangelists that are going to go around and evangelize the world they're going to have a cloud of protection over their home and over them amen that the devil cannot hurt them it's going to make the devil so mad because he wants to get at them oh man you know what it talks about the two witnesses that are laying in the streets of Jerusalem and everything the devil tries to do they counter it amen and finally finally he has them killed and then all the all the CNN and all the news people are sitting there and they're watching these dead bodies because they're not going to let nobody touch them they're going to let them sit there and let them rot in the street but something happens on the third day ha ha ha woo on the third day them two dead bodies there in them streets begin to move my lord and CNN got to focus right in there up close look look one of them's finger flicked one of them's eyebrow kind of twitched and all of a sudden they're going to stand up on their feet and the bible said and God's going to take them right on up into heaven amen right there the devil can't stop them because they are doing his work and his job pardon me

[27:18] I can see it I can see it happening in my lifetime amen I can see it happening hallelujah the light of the sun seven times hotter the moon go over to 2 Thessalonians second chapter how is the lord going to destroy this enemy when he comes we're going to read about here in 2 Thessalonians you probably already know but some may not but it doesn't matter when I get preaching and crying I have to blow my nose anyway amen you know why I cry when I preach cause it's real to me this isn't just some story but this is life

[28:24] God gave us a warning amen 2,000 3,000 years ago what's it going to be like in the end times read about here in 2 Thessalonians the second chapter it said now we beseech you brethren by the coming of our lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him that you be not soon shaken in mind nor troubled neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter from us as at the day of Christ is at hand let no man deceive you by any means for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God or that is worship so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God showing himself that he is God that's the antichrist amen remember you not that when I was yet with you I told you these things and now you know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time for the mystery of iniquity doth already work only he who now letteth will let until he be taken out of the way and then shall that wicked one be revealed whom the lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming even him now how's the lord going to destroy him let's just stop there a minute let me just what was what I say right before that even and then shall that wicked one be revealed whom the lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming if you put that back over there with what I was just reading you in Isaiah a while ago it all makes you it gives you a picture even him who's coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders and with all deceitableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved you know a lot of folks would hear this message this morning they say oh that's a bunch of bull you know he just he just trying to scare you all in living right

[30:32] I wish I could scare you into living right I guarantee you I'd preach this message every time I came to church amen it said and with all deceitableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved and for this cause because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved God shall send them strong delusion and that they might believe a lie now in Revelation the 13th chapter in the 18th verse it talks about that how the mark and the number of his name do you know what you know what that's going to happen when you take that mark there's a word that when you when you search it down to its root it means that that you're going to you're going to feel like all your burdens all your sins are gone in other words when these people take the mark of the beast they're going to feel like that their sins have been expiated erased washed away and they're going to be like in a euphoric manner you know it's going to be the greatest time they ever had because they took the mark can you imagine listen to what it says here now about it it says and for this cause

[31:37] God shall send them strong illusion that they should believe a lie that they all might be damned to believe not the truth but had right had pleasure in unrighteousness can you say amen hallelujah so how's the Lord going to destroy them with the brightness of his coming what's going to what's going to keep the brightness of his coming from destroying everybody because God is going to have a cloud and a smoke upon each house and in that cloud and in the smoke is the name of the Lord amen the name that's above every name when uh back in Exodus when he said the Bible you know what he said he gave them a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night and the Lord was in the cloud and the fire amen God dwells in thick darkness in the cloud and the fire to go before them that they might go by day and by night can you say amen in uh in Psalms 121 in the fifth verse Psalms 121 and 5 I think I marked that maybe I didn't and I didn't but we'll find it Psalms 121 5-8 it says the Lord is my keeper the Lord is is thy shade you get that the Lord is thy keeper and the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand the sun shall not smite thee by day nor the moon by night the Lord shall preserve thee from all evil he shall preserve thy soul the Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth even forevermore can somebody shout amen and that's just another scripture to show you that how that God is going to protect those people that's in Psalms 121 verse 5-8 amen he said he said that that oh let me read it again that's too good you probably you may not have read the Psalms and sometimes we just read it and it goes on over our head unless we put it together the Lord is my keeper the Lord is or thy keeper brother the Lord is thy

[37:38] I'm doing I'm doing it for you amen hallelujah he's going to come back and he's going to make more and he's going to consume him with the brightness of his coming and with the power of his mouth amen hallelujah I got too much to tell you in here amen psalms 91 and 91 and 1 anybody know what that says we all know that scripture he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under under the shadow of the almighty he that dwelleth in the secret place and you know what now if you go back now where's the secret place if you go back to the book of judges to where the angel of the lord appeared unto unto Samson's parents and he said you know you're going to have a child and he's going to be a Nazarite from his mother's womb and he's not going to drink any deadly thing not going to touch any dead bodies and no razor is going to come up on his hair and he said what is your name he asked the angel of the lord and he said why do you ask after my name seeing that it is secret seeing that it is secret he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high what are you talking about dwelling in the tower of the name of the lord the lord's name is the tower yeah the name of the lord is a strong tower and the righteous run in and are saved amen man when you put all these scriptures together then it gets to make sense hey he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty my lord and i will say unto the lord he is my refuge my fortress my god in him will i trust amen he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty say it again oh he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty and i will say unto the lord he is my refuge my fortress my god in him will i trust and i will say unto the lord he is my refuge my fortress my god in him will i trust amen the name of jesus will be placed on every rooftop in a cloud of smoke in the shekinah glory amen and we will be kept because it will be a secret place that the devil can't get to amen now there's something else that kind of kind of kind of amazes me in amos the ninth chapter and i know you're gonna love this go to go to amos the ninth chapter it's uh joel amos obadiah don't know micah name amen amos the ninth chapter everybody say amos nine joel amos if you got a date it's on page 898 amen now this isn't my message this is just the appetizer 898 joel amos ninth chapter and the thirteenth verse the ninth chapter thirteenth verse you got

[41:38] it behold the days come saith the lord that the plow man shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt now you could just preach for a couple of hours just on that one little verse right there and all the all the scriptures that pertain to that but I just want to touch on one little thing here behold the days come saith the lord that the plow man shall overtake the reaper now what does that mean to you everybody knows that in the springtime you go out and you break up your field and then after you break up your field then you got to go back and you break up the clods and then you sow the seed and then you pray for rain and after two or three months it will grow and it will bear fruit and then the reapers the harvest will be ripe and then the reapers will go in the field to reap the harvest amen but what this is saying is that behold the days come saith the lord that the plow man shall overtake the reaper in other words the seed is going to spring up they're going to put the seed in the ground and it's not going to take three months or four months or four and a half months for the seed to come up and for the fruit to bear but immediately why is that what is going to cause the fruit to come out of the ground so fast that the reaper is going to overtake the plow man or the plow man is going to overtake the reaper and then right behind the plow man hey the sower is going to have to be right there behind him and no more do they get it reaped they got to go right back because the plow man is done plowed and the sower is done sown and so there will be continual reaping a continual harvest you know we get one harvest maybe some really diligent farmers will double harvest their crops maybe have winter wheat and summer wheat but can you imagine can you just imagine that something can be so glorious as that that you can't even get before you get your food out of the ground the guy coming behind you is already planted again and it's already popping up why is this going to cause that food to come out of the ground like that let me just read this to you in the book of revelation 22 he showed me a clear river of water of life crystal proceeding out of the throne of god of the lamb and in the midst of the river and in the midst of the street on the either side of the river was there the tree of life now listen to what the tree of life did which bear twelve manner of fruits and yielded her fruit every month and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nation now what does that mean to you you get apples on the tree apple tree bears once a year plum tree bears once a year peach tree once a year about everything

[44:55] I know bears once a year the fruit that you can eat I've seen these dwarf orange trees they bloom and they grow all year long they get about that big and they never fit to eat listen to what it says now let me just read to you one more time in the midst of the street on either side of the river was there the tree of life which bear twelve manner of fruits and yielded her fruit every month yielded her fruit every month can you imagine that yielded her fruit the plow man except a grain or except a corn of wheat falleth into the ground and die it abides alone but if it dies so you don't plant one grain in the ground and expect to get one grain back you plant one grain of corn in the ground and then you expect a stalk to come up and on that stalk about three years and on each year about 300 grains for that one so 900 grains that's almost a thousand percent amen that you from one but then that's all you're going to get that year but how about if it just kept on coming up now what is it going to cause that to happen because that seed is going to die the seed got to die you and

[46:16] I have to die amen Jesus said because I live you shall live also amen but we have to die die to what we got to die to the world die to our flesh die to the devil amen hallelujah God's got things that doors we got to go through and that he's going to use to break the things of the world off of us and you know that's the hardest part when a young person first gets saved hard part is breaking your old habits when I got saved I couldn't run around with the people I used to run around with anymore not because the preacher said don't do it not because anybody said don't do it just all of a sudden I he said the man you stand before you may look a lot the same may wear the same clothes and have the same old name but you're looking on the outside if you could see inside instead you'll see a brand new man because something happened the old man the old man is dead you know what's going to happen let me tell you what's going to happen when that seed is put into the ground the presence of the

[47:36] Lord is going to be there amen and that's going to be resurrection how many knows that that name is the name that's above every name and that name is a resurrection name and Romans 10 said at the same spirit that raised up Christ from the dead dwelleth in you that spirit that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal body honey let me ever the others are going to raise up and stand before the great white throne judgment then they're going to hell and die again and Revelation 20 and 14 said and this is the second death but what's going to make everything come up when the son of righteousness comes then everything that's dead is going to come alive That seed that's planted it ain't going to stand in the ground because the name that's in that cloud is going to pull it up I mean it's going to grow it right up you remember Jack and the beanstalk he had a cow and he went to town with that cow and he

[48:40] I don't remember exactly what he was supposed to do with it but he came back with a little package of beans and mama said what did you get for the cow and he said it package of beans she said you traded the cow for a package of beans and they just throw the beans out the window what happened overnight overnight those beans took root down and grew all the way up to the sky through the clouds and up in the clouds there was a giant and the giant had a hen that laid golden eggs talk about an imagination and

[49:41] Jack was around there and the giant said fee Fie! Foe! Fum! so Jack slipped in there and got that egg and there came that big old giant acro and he took off amen I gotta take off he got down that man I got another page here I gotta tell you I was afraid I wouldn't have enough less this morning he got down he climbed way down and he had these eggs and he got out his axe the old giant thing he gonna get down the same way he started climbing down too amen but he cut the the vine down and the giant fell down and killed the vine killed the giant and he got all this gold it's kind of a funny story isn't it how how how that the seed grew up overnight into the cloud things are not always what they see that's right things are not always what they see let's stand up this morning
