GOD: THE HEALER

[0:00] Now, I've got a bunch of notes up here in songs if I start singing. It's just because I didn't bring my notes. So if I see notes, I might start singing.

[0:13] No, first of all, I just want to give God glory. I want to thank God for the men of this house that allow people to come in and be able to minister what the Lord has put on their heart.

[0:30] And I'll be honest with you guys. It's been a few years since I preached to people, but I preached to myself because I felt there was a need to go into the desert for a season.

[0:45] Because, you know, we live in a world where there's so many different ministers preaching so many different things. And it's very easy to catch one that will tickle your ears and try to help you make it through things.

[1:03] And, Brother David, you don't always make it through that way. I've been through some stuff, and I don't know where this is going to go. I'm just going to trust the Holy Spirit. I know you like to have, I love the Holy Ghost.

[1:16] He's my best friend. He's my leader, my comforter, my guide, my healer, my deliverer. And I trust Him fully. I've got these little Holy Ghost shakes going on right now.

[1:28] Can you see them? Not because I'm nervous, but because I'm always in awe of who I'm standing in front of you in. And when He begins to move on me, I begin to shake a little bit.

[1:43] It'll go away. I'm not afraid of you. My God's bigger than you. Amen. But, you know, real quick, I want to say something.

[1:55] The Lord's been dealing with me about signs, wonders, and miracles. And tonight, when I came in here, and I heard everything that's going on in here, I want to tell you something right now.

[2:09] God heard your cry. It is done. It has been finished. I know it has, because the Lord has already gave me confirmation. I knew on my way here tonight, I didn't know until I pulled in Lee's Lane, that I was going to be preaching.

[2:25] I knew when I hit Lee's Lane, that I ain't talked to Bruce. I don't need to talk to him. I got one that gives me first-hand information, and I trust him. Amen. But, listen, I want to talk about something for a minute.

[2:39] Back when we was going to Lighthouse, where Eddie goes, back when we was going there, we had a street ministry. And we called it Crossroad Street Ministry.

[2:50] And the Lord laid it on our heart to go out and to minister to the homeless, the needy, the sick, the widow, the orphan.

[3:01] Come on, we was doing what God wanted us to do. But he let us out there, and when he got us out there, we would, you know, it's not the normal to just see somebody and say, can I pray for you?

[3:15] Then you pray for them, you give them a bologna sandwich, and you leave them, you did them no good. So when we got out there, we would pray, Father, your word says that whosoever believes in Jesus Christ, the works that he did, they'll do even greater works than these because you go to your Father.

[3:35] Now, I'm just foolish enough to believe the word of God. I'm going to be honest with you. That's why when we have prayers for people, I sit back. I don't come into agreement until I hear somebody pray their authority over the sickness.

[3:50] I will not sit here and beg God to touch cancer. Cancer is a weak name. God's name is above every name. I will not sit there and talk to cancer like it has authority.

[4:03] Jesus said, Behold, I give unto you, you, you and me power, to go. And I want to tell you all something. My witnesses here are few. But we went down and this man came up to me and Bruce and he said, Will you all pray for me?

[4:21] I have stage four cancer. I'm about to die. Will you all pray for me? And the first thing I wanted to do was just start laying my hands on him and saying, Father, in Jesus' name, I ask you to touch him.

[4:36] I ask you to heal this cancer. I ask you to do all this. And Anna, before it would come out of my mouth, he bowed my tongue. And when he bowed my tongue, he said, I have given unto you my authority.

[4:50] He said, You command that cancer to go in the name of Jesus and it will have to go. Brother, mustard seed faith. We're trying to pray God into doing something.

[5:02] When Jesus wanted something done, he said, Come out. Leave them. Be healed. But we're wanting to do big prayers to make ourselves look big. But let me tell you, the more you pray, the more you go into doubt.

[5:16] We need to hit these sicknesses with a short prayer. Cancer, die in Jesus' name. Not because of who I am, but because of who he is.

[5:28] Not because of what I do, but because of what he did. We need to lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus Christ, trust him fully, and watch him do what needs to be done.

[5:41] Sister, I did a study with Kenneth Hagin Jr., our senior, Kenneth E. Hagin. I went through this class that he gave that they had at Lighthouse.

[5:53] And this class was supposed to be a three-year class. Well, in that class, I went through it in six months. I was so hungry for healing because I watched my mother die of cancer.

[6:06] I watched my father die of heart disease. And then I began to say, this is not God's will. They love the Lord. Let me tell you, you can love the Lord and still die sick.

[6:19] It's time that we quit saying that we love the Lord outwardly and that we begin to meditate on the Word of God which is able to save our souls and correct our thinking when the evil man comes, our thinking will be correct.

[6:37] Because without a mind of Christ, we will not overcome sickness, the world, and the devil. We will not do it. We cannot do it in our own ability.

[6:47] Our own Savior, Brother David, could not do it in his own ability. But he had to be baptized in the River Jordan. And then he had to come up and receive the power of the Holy Ghost.

[7:01] So he was able to go about as Acts 10.38 says, how God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who went about doing good and healing.

[7:16] How many? Wait a minute. Why is everybody in our church sick? Oh, I love you and I'm going to preach because I can tell you something right now. In February of this year, I had a heart attack.

[7:31] Come on. And brother, I had to go to the hospital and my right artery was 97% closed. My left one 50.

[7:42] So they tell me they had to put stints in me. I said, do what you got to do. I'm here now. Come on. I'm here now. I almost died getting there. But I'm here now.

[7:52] I got into what Sister says shouldn't be there. I got some fear in me that night. And I lost my focus on the water walker. I lost my focus on the blind man eye opener.

[8:05] I lost my focus on the one who raised the man from the dead. I lost my focus and I got to looking at the problem instead of the solver of the problem.

[8:19] I wound up in the hospital for eight days. They were supposed to put three stints in but I only put one. And I said, well, one's better than three but I'm not coming back to see you anymore.

[8:32] And they said, what do you mean? You got follow up appointments. I said, no. And if you have a problem and you have to write something down, say I'm just doing what my father told me to do.

[8:46] And he told me to trust him with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. And he said, if you seek me early, you will find me.

[8:57] And he told me, sis, I have never left you and I have never forsaken you but I'll be with you all the way to the end of the age.

[9:08] I got a word tonight but it's from the Holy Spirit. You just got to deal with me. Look, if I run late, you ask Bruce, I don't know when to stop. I can preach five hours when the Holy Ghost gets on me.

[9:21] When he begins to move, I can move. But I just got a word that I believe since the Lord laid it on my heart to be here that I believe that Jesus Christ will stand in here tonight in the flesh.

[9:35] He knows this room better than I do. If Jesus Christ will stand in here in the flesh, that's what I ask him to speak out of me tonight because I don't know the room like I ought to know the room.

[9:49] But the Holy Spirit knows the room. And I'm here to tell you, you won't come hear me preach and leave the same as you came because the Lord said, if I believe signs, wonders, and miracles are going to follow me, if we keep preaching words to make people feel good but not take care of the problem, we are not preaching the gospel.

[10:16] We are preaching something that ain't in line with the word of God. And yes, we are human. But David said, the Lord knows our frame that we are but of dust.

[10:28] But my God, the only time we have an issue with being human is when we stop leaning on the Spirit. And I might not get a lot of amens, but that's okay because I didn't come to get anybody excited or happy.

[10:43] I came to tell you the truth. And the truth, the word of God says, will set you free. And I want to be free in Jesus' name.

[10:54] If you want to be free tonight, give the Lord a shout of praise. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. But brother, we went downtown. Ah, and we seen this man and he said, pray for me, I have stage four cancer.

[11:12] I'm dying. And as I went to pray this big prayer, the Lord shut my mouth. And he said, say unto him, you shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord.

[11:26] So I didn't say nothing more than that because he didn't tell me to. How many of you know that Jesus said, I only do and say what my Father tells me to do and say.

[11:39] It would do us some good, brother David, if we would learn to shut our mouth if the Father ain't saying it. It would do us some good not to be doing what we think God's doing if he did not say do it.

[11:55] But sis, I prayed for that man. We did. And I said those exact words. Two weeks later, we're back downtown. And let me tell you, Brother Steph, we didn't go downtown and just give them sleeping bags and food and clothes.

[12:13] We went down and set up tents on the street corners and preached the gospel and led them to the Lord. And they kept going down. Not just, he didn't say make converts of anybody.

[12:27] He said make disciples of all men. You can't make a disciple if you just lead them to the Lord and lead them. You must be there to feed them.

[12:38] So we did it for quite a while. And two weeks after we prayed for that man, we stood out downtown by the library. And next thing you know, we hear this man, Pastor, Pastor, Pastor.

[12:52] And he's running. He's giving it everything he's got to him. And he's running. And he showed us the different report. Oh my God.

[13:02] He showed us a different report. This report said that they can't find any cancer anywhere in his body. Now, I want to tell you something.

[13:14] Do you think that built me up and gave me an ego? Puffed me up. No, it did not. It made me hungrier to surrender. Ah! Don't say that word.

[13:25] It's a cuss word. Surrender. It made me more eager and willing to surrender to the things of God. Brother, next time we're down there, this is just for somebody in here because you ain't going home sick.

[13:40] I'm going to tell you right now. And that's not cockiness. That's God for the... God wants to do it more than you want to be healed. God wants to set you free more than you want to be free.

[13:52] And I trust Him. Brother, I trust Him. This ain't about Jeffrey Diggs. This is about Jesus Christ, the Lord, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

[14:03] This is about the One who said, I'll walk in you and talk in you and I'll be your God and you'll be my people. I'm unlike a lot of Christian folks because I just believe the world.

[14:17] Brother David, this boy came right down the sidewalk. I'm just trying to tell you what's going on. I got a few stories and then we'll go from there. But he's riding down the sidewalk on a bike and he could only pedal with one foot.

[14:33] And when he got to us, we was giving out Bibles that day. And when he got to me, brother, I said, how can I pray for you? He said, you can pray for my foot in a minute.

[14:47] He said, but all I want is a Bible. I'm going to tell you something. People want Christ whether they know it or they don't. But they just want to be shown the love of God.

[15:00] Not something with cameras on you so you can say, look at me and what I did. But you come to them just like David went to Goliath. You don't come at them with a sword and a Bible in your head to beat them.

[15:15] You come at them in the name of the Lord of hosts full of the power of the Holy Ghost and the Word of God and you'll watch them get set free.

[15:26] Well, brother, I knelt down and I said, let me see your foot. And you know people don't believe it. If you wasn't there, you don't believe it. If you don't believe it, it won't happen for you.

[15:37] I'm not here to lie to you. I stand before my Creator and I speak the truth. And, brother David, I kneeled down on the ground. I'm not too good.

[15:48] Out in that dirty street where they sleep and pee and urinate, I'm not too good. I kneeled down and I lifted up his pants leg. And when I lifted up his pants leg, his ankle was about that big around and black and green.

[16:06] That big around. And you know what? The more I looked at him, the more doubt started setting in I was going to turn on him. on him because I had to turn my head.

[16:17] And when I turned my head, I said, Father, I'm doing this for your glory, not for mine. I'm going to pray for this ankle and it's going to be healed. Not because of me, but because of who you are.

[16:29] And I said, Lord, two weeks down the road, maybe I'll see him come running. But I'm just going to give it up. Brother David, I put my hands on that man's ankle and I said, in the name of Jesus, I didn't get no further.

[16:45] And the ankle closed together in my hands. It went down in my hands. Since you're talking about it, it's already here. We just got to trust God and believe Him for it.

[16:59] It's already here. And I'm telling you, that is what God has called me back into. He has called me to bring healing to the church of Jesus Christ.

[17:10] Not a week down the road, not a month down the road, but right now. Because the Bible says, now faith is the substance. Not later faith, but right now.

[17:22] But let me tell you something, sis. He took off, he dropped his bike and he took off running. Not walking, he took off running.

[17:34] And Seth, I watched him run down the sidewalk and I said, sir. And he stopped. I said, your bike. Sis, came running back.

[17:47] He got about 20 yards in front of me and then I see him squinting like, ow. Ow. Most of us would have just said, praise God, you walked.

[17:59] My God, don't do it halfway. He does it. It might take time to recover, but when it takes time to recover, just know that's a testing and a trying of your faith.

[18:13] And you need not be moved. If God says you're healed, then you are healed. It's not going to be. You already are.

[18:24] But as he walked to me, Brother David, I said, I said, buddy, are you alright? And he said, yeah, I'm good. And I said, no, I've seen your face.

[18:35] I said, let me explain something to you. Jesus loves you too much to let you walk away in pain. Now, I'm going to tell you, the church needs boldness.

[18:47] We need some boldness. We need to be able to stand when everybody else runs. Since you said people coming out of wheelchairs, when I got ordained to preach, in 1993, my first service was at a soup kitchen.

[19:04] And they had tables. I mean, the 40-hour tables was the stage that I had to walk on. And you were walking like this. But I tell you, there's a woman that came every time that they had one of them services in a wheelchair.

[19:22] And all the ministers would stop me before I even preached, Seth. And they said, do not pray for her. And I said, excuse me? They said, don't pray for her.

[19:35] She gets every evangelist, every healer, every whatever it is, to pray for her and nothing happens. And I said, that ain't her fault. Because I'm going to tell you all something.

[19:46] I'm going to tell you something. It don't take the belief of the person I'm praying for. It just takes my belief. Jesus walked up to some people and He said, do you believe that I am able to do this?

[20:01] But He didn't go up to everybody. He just started calling it out. What about when the disciples said, Master, Rabbi, why is this man born blind?

[20:13] Did his mama and daddy sin? And Jesus said, no, no, you got to go backwards. Sin is the result of sickness. The fall in the garden brought sickness into this earth.

[20:28] Not all sickness is caused by the devil either. No. Some of it's caused by some of us not understanding James chapter 1 where we don't do what He tells us to do and we deceive ourselves.

[20:43] The Word of God is our God. And can I tell you something, brother? Jesus did not come to this earth and die so I can go to heaven. I'm so tired of hearing that.

[20:56] I mean, I'm grateful for heaven. But He didn't come and die and shed His blood so I can go to heaven. He came and died and shed His blood so I can go to the Father.

[21:07] So I can be just like Adam was before He fell. That's what He came and died for. If we would quit making it about a place and make it about a person.

[21:19] Yeah. Yeah. If we were making it about a person and we would quit worrying about it. Yeah. Some of the ways we pray for people would change. That's right. Come on. How many of you said if you got in a car wreck tonight, boy, I'll rebuke you in the name of Jesus faster than you could swan fly.

[21:42] If you got in a car wreck tonight, would you go to heaven or would you go to hell? Well, let me tell you something right now.

[21:53] Even the Bible says to the born again believer that we have to hope for that day. Y'all ain't hear me. We have to hope for that day.

[22:06] We have to hope we make it. But see, my focus ain't on going on streets of gold. My focus is becoming in the likeness and the image of Him who created me, called me, ordained me, chose me, filled me.

[22:25] He did all that not for me. I'm not a Christian for myself. But I am a Christian for the kingdom of heaven. I'm not a child of God for myself.

[22:38] And when we get an understanding of that, we'll love some folks a little better. Now, you see out on the street the healings that take place.

[22:51] Okay? He didn't just say, go and call the world, preach the gospel. He said, go and call the world, lay hands on the sick. And they shall recover.

[23:02] Then He said, cast. Come on. All of your good. Cast. Yeah. Come on. Do you think Jesus Christ is coming after a weak church?

[23:14] No. I'm going to ask you again. Do you think Jesus Christ is coming back after a weak church? I'm not talking about a church that knows how to sing, one that knows how to dance, one that knows how to do all that holy looking stuff.

[23:32] I'm not talking about that. Because you can do all that, stand behind the pulpit, and have hatred for your brother. Come on. Come on. Preach. But if you want to be holy and pure in the sight of God, you release all the bitterness.

[23:49] You let it all go. And I just heard the Holy Spirit say this. And you know what? You know another thing I don't like? I don't like when people say I don't know who this is for. Because I'm going to tell you what's for the body of God.

[24:02] If you're preaching it, it's for you. You might not want it, but it's for you. Amen. But I'm going to tell you what the Lord just said. If they will just forgive.

[24:14] I just heard it in my spirit. If they will just forgive and let that person loose, I'll heal them tonight. I'll set them free tonight.

[24:26] If they'll loose the bitterness and let them go, I'll set them free. And I don't know about you, but I'm walking out of here to heal. Yeah.

[24:37] The aneurism that they said was above my kidney on one of my arteries, I already felt that new shrink. I'll tell you, I'll go to the doctor and bring it back to you next time.

[24:50] I'm just going to go right now. I'm just going right now. You all ain't here now. I'm just going right now. because my God says that I am to lean not unto my whole understanding, but I am to trust him.

[25:07] And you know what brother? That's easy mouthing. But our life is so different. Don't kick me out. Don't kick me out.

[25:21] I just want the church free. I just want the church loose from the pit. If you got unforgiveness in your heart, you're in the pit.

[25:36] If you got malice and bitterness, you're in the pit. If you're going through something right now, let me remind you of three Hebrew words.

[25:48] Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, my God, let me ask you a question. Is the word for your flesh or is it for your spirit? Come on, say it like you believe.

[26:00] Alright, alright, alright. But let me tell you about three Hebrew boys who wouldn't bow down to an image. They wouldn't bow down to a doctor's report.

[26:11] Are you bowing to a doctor's report? They wouldn't bow down to fear. Are you bowing down to uncertainty and fear?

[26:21] They would not do it. And even when they would not do it, Brother Dave, Nebuchadnezzar said, heat that dude up seven times hotter than what it was supposed to be.

[26:34] Why do you like this fire, honor? Fire is fire. If you fall in, you're burning up. Come on.

[26:47] Nebuchadnezzar said that, and we ought to learn something why he said that. Can I tell you what the Holy Ghost told me? Why he said that? The Holy Ghost told me he told them boys that to get them to fear.

[27:01] Because when they think fire seven times hotter, we're going to die. Y'all say it can't happen. Who do you think is the master receiver? So he said, heat it up, Bill, seven times hotter, hoping them boys would lose their marriage and say, okay.

[27:20] But let me tell you something. When we get that, but if he don't, everybody want to say he don't, but what if he don't? Well, when we get that, but if he don't spirit, we're still not bound to the situation, the problem that's coming at us.

[27:40] If he don't bring me out of it, it don't matter. Because like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you've got to notice something. Listen, I'm going to blow your mind.

[27:52] When they were told to be tossed into that furnace, Nebuchadnezzar took valiant men, his best men, the best of the best, and he took them, he, them two men, took Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to that fiery furnace.

[28:13] And when they got to the fiery furnace, the two men had to open the doors. When they opened the doors, they were killed.

[28:25] Y'all better listen to me. The Holy Goss is trying to tell you something. How did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego get in? I'm going to tell you how they did. Jesus kicked them in.

[28:37] Y'all don't want to hear that. Jesus kicked them in. Because they stood there and Jesus said, we didn't come all this way for what I had planned.

[28:50] Can I tell you the hell that you're going through is a part of God's plan to get you where he wants you to be. Because as I told you before I started, when my church closed down because of COVID, I took that heart.

[29:08] Everybody left. Christ. And I took that heart and crushed me like I almost turned and go the other way. And I did it for a while.

[29:21] I did. You know what? I'm going to be real. You might be holier than me. That's okay. God knows my heart and my intents.

[29:33] So I turned from it for a while and said I'll never minister again. It broke my heart. God, how could you do this to me?

[29:45] How could you do this to me? Well, there's a reason. I don't know it yet. I know there's a scripture in the word somewhere.

[29:59] We can ask God questions, but I'll expect them always to answer. Because he says the secret things belong to the Lord. There's some things he won't let us know until we get there.

[30:11] And I'm okay with that. Are you okay with that? I'm okay not understanding why I'm in the fire, but I'm not okay about being in it and complaining about it.

[30:22] I'm not okay with that. I'm not okay with being in the fire and gossiping about it and telling everybody about it, how bad it is. I'm not okay with that.

[30:32] But I'm okay with being in the fire and knowing that just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was in them flames. The fourth thing was in there walking around with them.

[30:47] And here's something else people don't really skip over. Do you know, thank you so much. That's all right. I'll go. Do you know that them boys didn't say get me out of here?

[30:59] Do you know that them boys was in there? And when they was in there and they knew Jesus was in there, when they knew he was in there, they was like, we're good.

[31:11] We're walking around in this all day. It don't matter to us how long we're going to be in this fire. Well, let me tell you, it don't matter how long you're going to be in the place that you're at.

[31:23] The day is coming. But even in the fire, you can look like Jesus even in the midst of it.

[31:34] Lord, I don't know how I'm going to take care of all these kids. You don't have to worry about it. He said, cast all your cares on me for I care for you. So you don't have to worry about it.

[31:46] God's in control if you let him be. He's a gentleman. That's right. He is. God's a gentleman. But did you know that, look, people are watching us.

[32:01] We worry too much about what we say when we should be more concerned with our actions and what we do. Paul said, you are epistles known and read by all men.

[32:18] Not for my words, sis, but for my actions. When I'm in the fire and I don't look ugly like you, it's because my face is set on the King of Kings and I know he's in there with me so I can have peace in the middle of the storm.

[32:36] I can have joy unspeakable and full of glory in the middle of the storm. I don't wait until I come out the other side because the Prince of Peace is in the midst of it with us and we will be mindful of that.

[32:54] You ain't nowhere that he ain't. The devil said, if I make my bed in hell, you're there with me.

[33:09] That's what he said. Jonah tried to escape him. Do you all know that? Jonah tried to get away from the presence of God by jumping overboard. But even in the belly of that well, the Lord was.

[33:27] Amen. Now look, somebody in here, we just need to drop the facade. We need to drop the screen because I'm going to tell you something.

[33:42] You'll hear this from a lot of preachers, but you won't hear it from me. It's not okay to not be okay. That's not God's perfect will for us. It's not okay to be not okay.

[33:55] That's just an excuse for us as well. Somewhere God did claim us. Our God planted us and let us know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

[34:08] And that every tongue that rises up against you, it shall be condemned. My God said that He would never leave me nor forsake me.

[34:21] My God said greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. My God said that my God is not a man that he shall lie.

[34:34] He is a son of man that he shall repent. Hath He not said it, then shall He not do it. Hath He not spoken it, then shall He not make it good.

[34:45] that's my God. He's a good God. You can't tell people you got a good God and be complaining and crying like a baby. There's a reason for your pain.

[35:00] There's a reason for the struggle. You're looking at a man that was one day away from foreclosure on my home. I had a heart attack, took me out of work for two weeks.

[35:14] I got a boss that seen in the hospital with cancer where they say it's gone. This cancer thing is really fun. You need to ask my brother and my sister over there.

[35:26] If I have a hatred for anything, it's cancer. Even though they rank heart disease as the number one cause of death.

[35:38] You don't hear people talk about heart disease, but you hear that cancer. Anything that gets praised grows. You better hear me.

[35:49] Anything that we keep speaking, we're magnifying. What David say, oh, come, let us magnify the Lord together. Let us magnify the King of kings and Lord of more.

[36:04] And brother David, at that name, the name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name that is given, the only name, my God, I love that name, the only name whereby man must be saved.

[36:20] At that name, scripture said, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

[36:32] Amen. So that means cancer has to bow. Yeah, it does. Wow. Does anybody in here, I know y'all smarter than me.

[36:44] Y'all read your Bible more than me. You ain't got no more holyos than that, because he gave us all the measure. You ain't got more holyos than that, but you might be more intelligent than me.

[36:58] You probably are, but that's okay. I got one to say, I don't need any man. Come on. Woo! Hallelujah. I don't need any man to teach me.

[37:09] Yeah. But I have one. Oh, my God. I have one. And I got somebody that knows all things. So when I need to know, you know how you find out all things?

[37:21] Any of you like praying in tongues? Baptist people, I don't know, brother, but you might need to not speak in tongues. I'm going to tell you, God's going to move in this house. And the only thing you got to know, the same Jesus that saved you is the same Jesus that are baptizing you.

[37:38] And all they said is ask. All you got to do is ask him. He's the baptizer. My God, don't be afraid of him. This Christian life is impossible without the Holy Ghost.

[37:50] Can I get somebody to realize that tonight? You cannot live this Christian life without the baptism of fire.

[38:01] God, I want to tell you something. I don't think tonight somebody's going to get refilled. And I think I'm a candidate for it tonight because I'm going to ask something.

[39:02] You know what the Lord told me to do when he called and preached. When I opened that church, he told me to call Christians back to Christ.

[39:15] As plain as day, like I heard it, as plain as day. He said call Christians back to Christ. Christ. Because we need to live like he's coming tonight.

[39:34] We need to live like we know his eyes are on us, his ears are open, he sees everything we say, he sees everything we do, he hears everything we say, and guess what?

[39:47] He still loves us. You know what? People don't want to shout because they don't want to tell on themselves. You can love me or leave me.

[39:59] I'm going to preach you the truth. And it's grace, it's the grace of God, it's that goodness, it's that goodness of God that will lead you to repent. But at the same time, if your ears are not used to hearing truth, then you'll continue in a lie.

[40:16] And I'm not saying lies coming here, because I've been here and I know the truth. And the truth lives in this house. But it's the truth being lived out of the house.

[40:30] It's the truth being lived out of the house. I had to repent. I had to turn my life back over to him. And you know what?

[40:42] I felt these arms open. And I felt, Brother David, as I was running to him, the devil was saying you'll never minister again. You'll never do that again. You'll never do this again.

[40:54] Then the Holy Spirit turns around and says, don't believe that because I have created you for such a time as this. My church won't only be talking about healing.

[41:04] It'll be a healing place. My church won't only be talking about deliverance. They'll be getting delivered in my place. My God, my God, my God. He said, I'm not coming down for a church that's doing less than I did when I left because I'm going to tell you something right now.

[41:23] Kentucky has been named the most evil state, wicked state in the world. I did a study on side wonders and miracles because you know where your heart is?

[41:36] There's your treasure also. So, what you want God to do for you? Dig in his treasure chest. Get a hold of it and study it, meditate on it, eat it, just try it around even when you're sick, fall down on your nose and push the Bible around with your nose, but you eat it and you don't leave it.

[42:00] And guess what? When a baby is born, is the baby a nurse? No. Well, what about if the baby grows up to be 30 and she's a nurse?

[42:15] What happens? You are what you focus on. To become a nurse, you have to go to nursing school and you have to take a book, brother said.

[42:32] You have to take a book and you have to take this book and you have to tell all your friends, you ain't got time to go to the drive hall, you ain't got time to go to the honky talk, you ain't got time to go to the bowling alley, you ain't got time to go get your nails done, you ain't got time to go to the barbershop because you got to study.

[42:54] Why do you put so much effort into studying? And you say, so I can give knowledge. Don't the Bible say that we are to excel in the knowledge of Him, we are supposed to grow in the knowledge of Him, we can't do that just by listening to some windbag holding a microphone telling you all about Jesus.

[43:16] We got to go home, turn off as the stomach turns, turn off all these shows that we like to watch, and quit doing all the things that we like to do, and we must set ourselves down, and we must take this book, and we must open it up, and when we open it, we must look towards heaven, and we must say with confidence and boldness that He'll do it, and we must say, Father God, reveal who I am in this Word, and when He, you know how He reveals who you are?

[43:49] He shows you who Jesus is, and the Word of God declares that as He is, so are we in this world now, somebody say right now, I am as He is, that means I'm not sick, I'm not depressed, I'm not worried, that means that I'm free, for whom the Son sets free, say it like you mean, let the devil come, let the devil cut off the leaves, down, let the look, not God, we must look at them, and then we can say, I can do all things through myself or my hands, what are you saying?

[44:42] who strengthens us? how's He doing? He does it through His Word, can I tell you all something, I know I ain't done, but I oppose.

[45:03] If you don't hear anything else that I said tonight, hear this, you ought to study the word so much that you become it.

[45:47] Most of the lives we live, we live in doubt. We live in, did I do nothing? Did I do enough for God to do this for me? The devil is a liar.

[45:58] God already done it. And all you gotta do is believe it and receive it. You don't have to work for it. You don't have to pray for it. You don't have to bash for it.

[46:10] You have to believe that He said it is finished. It's done. So everything that we have beat up, we already got it. I'm gonna say that again.

[46:21] Everything that we have need of, we already forgot it. So why are we seeking for it? Oh, man. I'm gonna give y'all some of this that you've got to go free.

[46:34] Why are we seeking for it if we already got it? Remember, we have an enemy that comes to steal the world. Because when the Bible says that they came for nothing but to steal, kill, destroy He didn't have to kill you.

[46:52] Quit giving yourself so much bread. He don't want to kill you. He don't need you like you're something special. He came to steal, kill, destroy the word that you hear.

[47:07] The word that you have in your heart. Because He knows that if that takes root if that takes root my God, it will spring up into life everlasting.

[47:20] And everything that you say will look like God. God said, God is left there being and there was. You know, Jesus in us wants to be the hope of glory.
