[0:00] Well, good morning. How's good? Amen? All the time. Everyone have a good Christmas? Yeah? I guess only a couple. Wow. All right. Some of you are not on the good list, I guess. Wow. All right. Well, whatever you for Christmas. I hope that you enjoy family time. That's really important. So, all right. Praise God. Can you believe we're already in 20, almost 2026? Can you believe that? We're already right there. And I mean, wow. It's crazy. It's crazy. And just to think about, you know, where we were a year ago.
[0:58] Just think about where you were a year ago. Where you are right now. You know, think about where you were a year and a half ago. And here you are. And you're, you know, I don't know what you are going through.
[1:16] I don't know what you've been through. But I want to tell you something that this time of year, people are just thinking about new beginnings. They're thinking about fresh starts. They're thinking about goals for the new year that many people break in the first month. Okay. But, you know, hey, let's go with the rhythm. You know what I mean? Like, hey, you know what? God's got great things to store for us in 2026.
[1:43] God's got great things. God's got great things. And you know what? Hey, and some things for us are going to turn around if they haven't already. Someone needs to believe that. That some things are going to turn around for you. I don't know what you're dealing with, but I'm saying, you know, I feel that in the Holy Ghost right now.
[2:00] Some things are going to turn around for somebody here in this place, in your life. Financially, spiritually, relationally.
[2:13] Maybe this year you get that big bonus. Maybe this year, you know, your business turns, you know, turns a huge profit. Your margins increase. Maybe this is the year, you know, you get married.
[2:25] Hallelujah. I don't know. Praise God. Who am I talking? I don't know. Praise God. All I'm saying is, hey, we're just hopeful.
[2:39] I want us to be hopeful for this next season of our lives. Praise God. And I don't know. I just feel really hopeful.
[2:50] I feel faith. And my prayer is that you would feel that level of, you would feel a level of faith. You feel like your faith is being stretched.
[3:02] Whatever season you're going through, that in that midnight hour, God's going to turn that around in your life. Amen. Praise God. All right. If you have your Bible, let's turn to the book of Luke.
[3:15] Chapter 5. And we'll begin in verse 1. The book of Luke, chapter 5, beginning at verse 1. Forgot how much of a monstrosity this pulpit was.
[3:41] It's crazy. Wow. At least I can lean on this a little bit. The other one, I'd fall over. All right. Luke, chapter 5, beginning at verse 1.
[3:53] And it came to pass that as the people pressed upon him, talking to Jesus, to hear the word of God. Man, that, wouldn't that be awesome?
[4:03] People would press to hear the word of God. Praise the Lord. Verse 4.
[4:29] Verse 4. And when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, hey, launch out into the deep. It led to internets for a drought or a catch.
[4:42] To go fishing. Let's go do this. But in that phrase, it isn't just like, hey, let's go fishing again. He's insinuating that something substantial is about to happen.
[4:58] Something meaningful is about to take place. Amen. And Simon answered, he said unto him, Master, we have toiled all night and have taken nothing. This guy's a fisherman.
[5:11] This is his profession. And someone that he doesn't even know is telling him to do something. It's like if I went to pastors on his job site with his electrical work and I started messing with water.
[5:22] I said, no, we need to do it like this. If you owe, I'll be done with. But here we go. We have toiled all night and have taken nothing.
[5:35] Nevertheless. Everyone say nevertheless. Nevertheless. At thy word, I will let down the net. Nevertheless.
[5:46] And so for the next few moments, I want to preach on this one word, this thought. Nevertheless. Nevertheless. Let's pray.
[5:57] Father, we love you. We praise you. We thank you for what we already feel in this house. Thank you, God, for what we are feeling right now, Lord. I know it's not all about feelings, God. But you know what?
[6:07] It feels good to feel good. And God, we thank you for your presence. We thank you for your spirit. God, help us today. Lord. To submit to your will. To submit to what you want to do in our lives, God.
[6:20] That we would say, nevertheless, Lord. At thy word. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen. I read a recent survey.
[6:33] I've been reading a lot of surveys lately. But I found that nearly two-thirds of adults say they felt stuck. Nearly two-thirds of adults, they're saying that they felt stuck in progress towards their goals.
[6:51] And for many of them, you know, they've been feeling that for probably around six months. This is what the study is telling us. That they felt stuck. That they're not progressing like they'd like to.
[7:04] Or moving forward like they want to. Or they thought. Ever felt like, you know, you thought something was going to happen. Or you thought something was going to turn out a certain way.
[7:15] Only to find out that's not how it was going to happen. Only how that wasn't really how it came to pass. That's not a bad week.
[7:25] That's not a rough Monday. It's people just saying, you know, I should be further along. I should be further along in my life.
[7:36] I should be further along in my career. My family should be further along. I should be further ahead of these emotions. Or just the way that I'm living my life. Or I should be further ahead of whatever that I'm dealing with.
[7:49] I should be. I'm too old to be dealing with this still. Or I'm still dealing with this at 42 years old. Or whatever it might be. I've been married for 20 years. And we're still talking about this.
[8:00] We're still dealing with this. We're still going through this. Come on, somebody. Let's be real for a minute. Come on. Not confused.
[8:12] Not rebellious. Unless some of us had that in our nature. They'd be a little rebellious. But just stuck. Remember, look at your neighbor and say, just stuck.
[8:25] But here's the interesting thing. Is that this study found that people don't lack the information. They don't lack. Because there's a plethora of books and information and articles and things to read.
[8:38] And to learn from us. People don't lack information to change. Or lack information to do better or to be better. YouTube University.
[8:50] You want to know how to fix an engine? Wow. Whoa, wait. Let me back up a little bit. You want to know how to fix something in your house? Drywall or electric?
[9:02] Okay. That could work a little bit. A little minor electrical. Go to YouTube. YouTube University. She laughs at me because, you know, when we bought it, my mom wanted a tree.
[9:14] So Deanna took my mom to go get a tree. And so, you know, I got, I went and bought a tree stand. Christmas tree stand. And I took it to the house. And so I looked up that style of, and it had a QR code on it.
[9:28] On the package. So I QR code it. And it brought up, you know, how to set this up. And so I was interested. I'm like, okay, what's different about this? I mean, because I've used tree stands before.
[9:40] You know, you just, boom, tighten it up, and that's it. Put water, and that's all. You cut off a little bit of the end. But I looked, I read the video, and she just started laughing at me.
[9:51] Because, you know, I just, I like to look up YouTube videos and how to do certain things. Even though you should already kind of, I guess, know. But I don't want to mess this up. This is for my mom. You know, I don't want to mess that up.
[10:03] So anyways. But people don't lack YouTube. They don't lack sermons. They don't lack podcasts. They don't lack Bible apps. You know what we lack sometimes?
[10:15] It's just movement. It's just movement. Doing something. Making a change. You know, taking a step or making an adjustment in our lives.
[10:29] That's a good word. An adjustment in our lives. You know, whenever I work, whenever I tell my drivers, or whenever it's told to my drivers, hey, we're doing a reroute.
[10:41] Like, you know, we're changing the routes of the drivers. Like, you know, how they're going to, where they're going to pick up the trash. They freak out. They lose their minds. Because we're like, we're changing the entire world for them.
[10:54] So I learned a trick. And it's the words that I use. And I say, hey, we're making an adjustment. And they're not so, you know, loud about it.
[11:04] They're not so crazy about it. But maybe for some of us, it's just an adjustment we need to make in our lives. It's an adjustment we need to make in living for God. It's an adjustment in your path, in your walkway, in how you're living for the Master.
[11:20] Amen. And how you're living for God. It's just some adjustments that we need to make in saying, Lord, not my way, but your way. I'm going to adjust how I speak, Lord.
[11:32] I'm going to adjust how I talk to my children. I'm going to adjust how I talk to my wife. I'm going to adjust, Lord, how I pursue you, God. I'm going to adjust how I approach the Word of God and how I approach coming to the house of God.
[11:45] It's an adjustment that we need to make in our lives. Amen. If you want to go further with God, if you want to go deeper with God, there's an adjustment I think we know that we need to make. And the thing about our society, about our world, especially in the, you know, the Western world in this 21st century, and so we love talking about new beginnings.
[12:09] We love talking about fresh starts. A new year, a new plan, a new version of me. You know, we talk about people going to chat GPT and they create these plans.
[12:22] And, look, I'm not saying there's anything really wrong with those things. We should have a plan. We should know what we're doing. But the Bible is not, how should I say this?
[12:34] The Bible is more interested in steady obedience out of our lives. I'm going to say that again.
[12:48] The Bible is more, God is more interested in steady obedience out of your life and out of my life. Amen. Than grand plans and grand goals and grand this, that, and the other.
[13:05] Dramatic this, dramatic that. Oh, and dramatic declarations. God is saying, if you would just be obedient to my word. If you would make some minor adjustments in your life.
[13:18] Amen. Hallelujah. Your life will be blessed beyond measure. Your cup will be running over. Hallelujah. Of blessing. Praise God. Not based on what you want.
[13:31] But based on what I want to give into your life. Because when you're submitted to the will of God. When we're submitted to the word of God. God knows how to fill our lives.
[13:42] God knows what to fill our lives with. He knows what relationships to bring into our lives. He knows what jobs to bring into our lives. He knows, hallelujah, what word to give us on a Sunday morning.
[13:56] That's freezing our begonias off. Okay. But praise God. Thank God for his word. Thank God for his will in our lives. Amen. Praise God. We don't need more dramatic resets.
[14:09] We need steady obedience in 2026. Praise God. Amen. Faithful steps. Faithful movement. Faithful adjustments to say, Lord, not my will but true will, God.
[14:24] I don't quite understand everything that's happening or what it is. God, nevertheless. Nevertheless, Lord, I'm going to submit to you.
[14:35] And so that's where we find ourselves in the story in the scriptures, in the book of Luke. And Luke is showing us that these boats are pulling up to the seashore.
[14:52] These fishermen that are working hard are now calling it a day. They're washing their nets. Now, that detail, you know, for years I've skipped over.
[15:05] And if you don't understand first century Hebrew culture, it's easy to kind of skim over. But what that signifies is that they're done for the day. They're calling it a wrap.
[15:17] They're calling it wraps. They're punching out. So when it says that they're washing their nets, they're saying, all right, we're done. We've toiled all night and there's nothing to show for it.
[15:31] No more effort, no more expectation, but they're done. So Peter says, Master, we've toiled all night and caught nothing. That's that unbelief.
[15:42] That's just honesty. Can you relate to that? That you've toiled all your life. You've toiled all your life and you feel like you've got nothing to show for it.
[15:57] You've toiled for a season and you feel like you've got nothing to show for it. You've toiled for years and you feel like you've got nothing to show for it.
[16:08] No prophets, no people, no substance, no gain. I'm talking to somebody here this morning that felt like they've toiled all night.
[16:20] You've toiled in your marriage. You've toiled with your children. You've toiled in the church. You've toiled on your job. You've toiled in your career. You've toiled all night. And you sit there and you lay there and you say, Lord, I've toiled all night, God.
[16:40] I've got nothing to show for it, Lord. You feel like it's been a waste. This is the human part of us.
[16:58] There's nothing wrong with us being honest with God. There's nothing wrong with us saying, Lord, I feel like I've toiled and I've got nothing.
[17:11] God's not going to shame you. God didn't, the Lord didn't shame Peter for saying that. He didn't shame Peter for being honest and saying it out loud.
[17:26] He didn't shame Peter for showing up.
[17:38] He didn't shame him for doing the right thing, for doing the faithful thing and still feeling empty.
[17:54] Let me say this real carefully. Most people that feel stuck or feel that way, feel like they're coming up empty. You know, they're not rebellious.
[18:04] They're not lazy. They're not unspiritual. They're just tired. They're tired. Maybe that's you this morning. You're tired.
[18:17] You're tired. You're coming up to a new year and you're hopeful, but you still got that nagging feeling in the back of your mind. Lord, I've toiled all year. I've got nothing.
[18:29] God, I've toiled all these years and I've got nothing to show for. God, I've toiled this season and I've got nothing to show. And it's in the back. We're not condemning that. The Lord's not condemning those thoughts or those feelings because that's just, again, the human part of us and that's okay.
[18:46] But you're tired. But here's the thing. You've been faithful. You've shown up. You've done the right thing. You've been coming and showing up and been there and serving and doing what you know how to do.
[19:08] But Jesus is about to enter your boat. Jesus. Jesus is about to enter your boat, church. Now, that doesn't sound deep or profound, but I'm telling you something.
[19:23] Listen, things change when Jesus enters your boat. Things change when the master talks to you and speaks to you, doesn't condemn you, but speaks to your life and enters and steps foot into your boat.
[19:40] That is hopeful. Amen. Hallelujah. And I'm telling somebody here in this church this morning, Jesus is stepping into your boat, into your situation, into your life right now.
[19:56] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God.
[20:07] Lord, Lord, I want to push on a little point. I want to push on a point here. I wasn't going to say this, but you know, when you do the right thing long enough without results, you know, you don't stop believing.
[20:24] you just start to quietly protect yourself from disappointment. You stop expecting. You're, the bar is low.
[20:36] Your prayers are safe. You don't quit. You just coast. And coasting feels kind of spiritual a little bit, but you know what? It feels stuck.
[20:46] But he'll, you know, the question now is, why do people get stuck? Why do people get stuck? Because they confuse comfort with wisdom.
[21:01] They confuse familiarity with faithfulness. They confuse waiting with obedience. And that's the tension that we live in. That's the tension that we feel is comfort feels safe, familiar, feels spiritual.
[21:17] And we can hide in a crowd. We can hide, even the number that we have here, we can hide in this right here. And protect, just to protect ourselves.
[21:27] Amen? But comfort is often a cage that feels like a couch. Israel didn't want Egypt because it was good. They wanted it because it was predictable.
[21:40] At least we had food. I remember the meat. Moses, take us back. And here's, I mean, this is the push. You know, probably, predictability can quietly become the enemy of faith.
[21:56] Because faith requires trust. Requires trust out of us. Giving up control to God. He says, Lord, I'm, I'm, I'm giving it to you, God.
[22:08] I'm giving over this control to you, Lord. So some people aren't waiting on God. They're waiting to feel safe again. And faith almost never feels safe.
[22:21] Because faith requires us to step out of our norm. Well, we know the predictable, the, it does. you want to see a church grow?
[22:32] Start inviting people. Start talking to people. Well, I don't know. That's not me. That's not my personality. That's not my, and there's a number of, of other things.
[22:45] But I'm saying, faith almost never feels safe. But this is the mindset, though, that, that really keeps people stuck. I'll move when I'm sure.
[22:58] I'll move when I know it's right. I'll move when I know it's safe to do. I'll, I'll move when it's, when I'm sure this is where I need to go. But in Scripture, certainty almost never comes before obedience.
[23:10] In Scripture, certainty almost never comes before obedience.
[23:23] Peter didn't understand the deep, but he obeyed. Abraham didn't know his destination, but he left. Israel didn't know how the Jordan would part, but they stepped.
[23:36] hear me when I say this, that God does not give clarity to spectators. Come on, somebody.
[23:50] God does not give clarity to spectators. You know who he gives clarity to? Participants. Woo!
[24:03] He gives clarity to those that'll step. Those that will leave. Those that will, come on, somebody. Hallelujah. I know this is challenging somebody's mindset. This is challenging somebody's attitude.
[24:16] This is challenging someone's, hmm, I feel it. I feel it. I feel it. And sometimes the reason you don't have direction is because you haven't moved since the last instruction God's given you.
[24:36] the reason we don't have that direction or that where to move is because you haven't moved since the last instruction God gave you or the last word God gave you.
[24:49] This is not condemnation. This is just an invitation to all of us and permission to say, you know what? I don't understand it all, Lord, but I'm gonna obey you. I'm gonna trust you, God.
[25:01] and this is what I love about our Lord Jesus Christ. He doesn't just walk up to Peter and say, hey, why are you still fishing or, you know, he steps into the boat.
[25:16] He steps into the boat. He doesn't shame him, doesn't lecture him, doesn't minimize the exhaustion and the toil that Peter was talking about. He steps into the boat but he doesn't leave Peter where he is.
[25:32] After he teaches, after the Lord teaches, he tells him, hey, launch into the deep. Launch into the deep and all that, that matters.
[25:42] That matters what the Lord said that. He doesn't say, launch out and see what happens. Good luck. He doesn't say, hey, try again just to prove obedience.
[25:59] He says, launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a drought, for a catch.
[26:11] A drought is not a baby. A drought is not a hope. A drought is a catch worth the effort. Come on, somebody.
[26:22] A drought that Jesus told Peter, he said, this is not a maybe or a hopeful exercise. This is with a certainty that something substantial is about to take place.
[26:35] Hallelujah. And I'm telling you, church, I'm telling us right now that something substantial is about to happen. Something substantial in your life is about to happen.
[26:49] something substantial in our church is about to happen. Hallelujah. But only if we launch out into the deep, into the unknown, and let down our nets for a drought.
[27:02] Hallelujah. I wish I had some more believers this morning. Praise God. But I understand also because of what we've already seen and what we've already experienced, some of us might be saying, it's just the same thing.
[27:18] It's going to be the same thing in 2026. It's going to be the same thing. Jesus is attaching expectation to obedience.
[27:33] Peter expected effort and Jesus promised the drought. But this is why this moment is so tense. because Peter had caught nothing all night.
[27:45] He had already worked and toiled all night. He had caught nothing all night, the right conditions, using the right skills. These guys knew what they were doing. And Jesus is saying, there is still something substantial waiting where I'm going to send you.
[28:05] There was something significant waiting for you, beyond what you know in the deep. Because first century fishermen, they didn't fish in the deep.
[28:19] They fished in the shallow areas. They fished at night. And now it's day. And he's telling these experienced fishermen to lodge into the deep in the day when it's not common.
[28:33] Because Jesus is trying to get him to understand there is something substantial and significant beyond what you know. know. And I was telling us this morning, the Lord is speaking to us today.
[28:44] Hey, church, there's something substantial and significant for your life. If you will launch out into the deep beyond what you know, beyond what you're experiencing, beyond what you think you know, beyond what you think should happen, I got something much greater, much more awesome that you think you can handle, beyond what you can handle.
[29:05] but you need to trust me. Woo. Woo. You need to trust me. You trust Jesus?
[29:19] Do you trust him? This is a question. Do you trust him? So when he says launch out into the unknown, do you think he can do that?
[29:33] When he says, when he tells you to launch out to what you, beyond what you think you know, do you think you can trust him? Because the Lord does not call us into the deep just to exhaust us or just for an exercise.
[29:51] Amen. He calls us out into the unknown and beyond what we know and into the deep because there is a significant substantial drought or catch to be had.
[30:06] And you say, well, I'm a significant catch. And maybe you are meant for somebody. But I'm saying that God is calling us.
[30:18] God is, he's calling us beyond what we know because there is something significant that he wants us to handle. But this makes no sense.
[30:31] Fishing is done at night. Peter knows it. Peter, you know, the Lord's telling Peter you need to launch out to what you don't know. And Peter's thinking this is not going to work.
[30:45] But Jesus is saying, trust me, Peter. Trust me. And this is the push. This is the rub right here. Experience is a good teacher.
[30:57] And for some of us have a lot of experience. We have a lot of experience living for God and trusting God and serving God and amen. But it's a terrible master. If you let yesterday's experience decide today's obedience, you will stay near that seashore.
[31:12] I'm going to say that again. If you let yesterday's experience decide today's obedience, you will always stay near that seashore and never experience the substantial blessing and favor in your life that God has for us.
[31:38] He wants to stretch us. He says, hey, you want to experience the great? Well, I got to stretch you. You want to experience revival? Well, I got to move you beyond what you know.
[31:50] You want to experience a great blessing? It's not going to happen by what's comfortable or by what's familiar. Church, you got to hear me. This is important. If you want to experience the blessing, the freedom in your life and in my life, it's not going to happen by what we already know.
[32:05] It's not going to happen by the familiar. It happens by faith and it happens by obedience. obedience to God's word. Pastor for years would always say the Bible can be summed up in one word, submission.
[32:24] And so when we say, well, what's next? You know what's next for us? Submission. Always submission. Always submission to his word. Always submission to what he's called us to do.
[32:35] Well, I have a word from God. God. We got a word right here. We got the word right here. So when Jesus is calling out Peter, not a bad way, but he said, hey, you want to catch this substantial, significant catch?
[32:57] You got a long shot into the deep, Peter. And Peter, in his mind, it's like, this does not make sense, Lord. This doesn't make sense. But with one word, he answers and says, nevertheless.
[33:13] It does not make sense to me. Nevertheless. It's not common knowledge. Nevertheless. This is the hinge word of this story.
[33:31] Nevertheless. That word matters. Nevertheless does not mean that Peter agrees. It means that he submits.
[33:44] It means in spite of what he feels, in spite of what he knows, in spite of what I've experienced, God, I'm choosing your wisdom over my wisdom.
[33:56] I'm choosing your knowledge over my knowledge. I'm choosing your ways over my ways. Nevertheless, is faith with its eyes open.
[34:09] Nevertheless, nevertheless, is submission to his word. Everything before that word explains the problem.
[34:22] Everything after the word releases releases the miracle, releases the blessing. And Peter doesn't deny the facts. He doesn't rewrite the night or go over it again.
[34:35] He doesn't pretend. He's excited. He simply says, I know what I've experienced. You know what you have experienced. You know what you've been through.
[34:46] You know the toil you've been through. Come on, somebody. nevertheless, I know the disappointments that I've had.
[35:00] I know the letdowns that I've had. I know the tears that I've cried. I know the struggle and the pain and the letdowns. Nevertheless.
[35:16] Nevertheless. And that word is not just a hinge in the story. It's the hinge of a life. Nevertheless, it's a hinge in our lives.
[35:31] Nevertheless, it's what you say when faith overrides familiarity, when obedience overrides comfort, and when trust overrides control. And I believe that word is not just for Luke 5.
[35:47] I believe it's for us. I believe it's for you. It's for me. I believe that the word is for this new season that we're about to enter.
[36:03] It's about this new season for your life. Because maybe up to this point, you have felt that disappointment and that struggle. But I'm telling you, that hinge word, nevertheless, nevertheless, I'll say it, nevertheless, say it again, nevertheless, hallelujah, nevertheless, Lord, at your word.
[36:35] And when Peter says, you know, nevertheless, he doesn't, you know, he doesn't change everything. You know what he does? He takes a step. He pushes the boat.
[36:49] He pushes the boat just a little bit. Ships don't change direction in a quick moment. It's one degree at a time. One degree at a time for that ship to change course.
[37:06] And that's how it is for us in our lives. it's just one degree, one decision, one step towards a great blessing that he has for us.
[37:18] But it all comes at nevertheless. Because here's, I mean, this is the challenge. Some of us keep asking God to change the season while refusing to move the boat.
[37:33] This is the challenge for us sometimes. It's that, you know, Lord, we want a new season. We want blessing and favor and so on and so on. But we're refusing to change the boat, to move the boat.
[37:50] God doesn't change lives with the reset buttons or abort buttons, you know. He changes lives with next steps, with simple, with instructions, with his word.
[38:03] And we read in the scriptures that the nets, let down the nets. And nevertheless, Lord, and they let down the nets. And when they had done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes and their nets, they break.
[38:24] They break. They fill and they start to break. Old nets nets can't carry new weight.
[38:37] Old nets cannot carry new weight. When you step into new seasons, sometimes we need to change some old habits.
[38:51] We need some new habits, some new nets in our lives. Some of us keep praying for more without making room for it. some of us keep praying for more and more and more, but yet our lives are still filled with stuff.
[39:07] Yet our lives are still filled with the old things and the old habits and the old ways of thinking and the old mindsets. Come on, somebody. We say, we say, God, we want more of this and more of you and more of that, but we still got old habits.
[39:28] God, more finances, but we got old habits of how we handle finances. Come on, somebody.
[39:38] That's good. Jesus, help us, Lord. Keep praying for more without making room for the more.
[39:51] And then Jesus says a powerful thing. He says, from now on, from henceforth, from henceforth,!
[40:10] That's transition language. Not tomorrow, not someday, but from now on. From now on, you're going to be, you shall catch men.
[40:26] Verse 10 says, fear not, from henceforth! Thou shalt catch men. When they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all and followed him.
[40:38] From now on, from now on, or henceforth. So let me bring this home. You know what we need to do? We don't need more inspiration.
[40:53] We don't need another plan. We don't need to start over. You know what we need? Nevertheless. We don't need more podcasts.
[41:07] We don't need more sermons. We need the preaching of the word. We need to come to church and bind together with saints and people of God. But we don't need more inspiration.
[41:19] We don't need another plan. We don't need to start over or hit the reset button. We need nevertheless. Nevertheless, I'll pray again, God.
[41:31] Nevertheless, I'm going to step out. Nevertheless, I will trust you. And nevertheless, Lord, let's launch. And here's the challenge I want to leave us with.
[41:47] What instruction have you heard that you've explained instead of obeyed? what's the last instruction you've heard that you've explained instead of obeyed?
[42:09] Let's all stand. Because delayed obedience often describes itself as wisdom. And if you feel stuck today, hear me.
[42:30] You're not behind. You're not forgotten. You're not failing. But you just might be standing at the edge of a new season.
[42:46] Still trying to make sense of that old one. But Jesus isn't asking you to understand the deep. He's asking you to trust His word.
[42:59] You hear what I'm saying? He's asking you to trust His word. And that's where the story turns. And for some of you, that's where your season turns.
[43:16] Hallelujah. look, I don't know where you are or what you're going through. But I want to invite you to pray this morning.
[43:32] I want to invite you to put a hand on someone's shoulder to pray with them and ask God, you know what, Lord? Nevertheless, nevertheless, I trust you.
[43:48] Amen. Can we do that right now? Can we close our eyes and bow our heads? And if there's someone next to you, why don't you put your hand on their shoulder. They're dealing with something or going through something and a season.
[44:02] I want you just to pray, God, that you help them, Lord. Nevertheless, God, at thy word, at thy word, oh, God, at thy word, oh, Lord, at thy word, God, I'm going to obey.
[44:18] At thy word, oh, God, I trust you. Hallelujah, Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah. Nevertheless, Lord, I trust you.
[44:31] Hallelujah, Jesus, God, I praise you, Lord, I praise you. God, I worship you, Lord, hallelujah. God, we praise you this day, God.
[44:45] Nevertheless, Lord, I'll pray again. Nevertheless, God, I'll show up again. Nevertheless, God, I'm going to step out and launch out into the deep, God, at thy word, oh, Lord, today, I trust you, oh, God.
[45:00] Hallelujah, hallelujah, Jesus. God, we worship you today, Lord. I worship you today, Lord.
[45:13] Hallelujah, hallelujah, Jesus. Yes, oh, God, yes, oh, God. Hallelujah, Jesus, that's right.
[45:24] Hallelujah, Lord, that's it. Nevertheless, God, nevertheless, Lord, hallelujah, I'm going to obey you, Lord, I'm going to trust you, God.
[45:35] I'm going to believe thy word, oh, Lord, hallelujah, Jesus. That's it, sister Amanda, that's it. Hallelujah. Glory to God, hallelujah.
[45:47] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Oh, Jesus, hallelujah.

[49:06] Hallelujah. Yes, I feel faith today. I feel liberty. Hallelujah this morning. I feel hope this morning.
[49:17] Hallelujah. God. A new season, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. A new launch point, oh God.
[49:29] God, we're launching, oh Lord, at thy word. Oh, yes, God, I'm going to be obedient to your word.
[49:46] I'm going to be obedient to your word. Amen.
