[0:00] In 1 John 1, verse 3. Boy, this is great. This is a wonderful scripture.
[0:12] Not a day in my life goes by that I don't use 1 John 1, 9. You probably do too. We confess our sins, these faithful and just forgive.
[0:23] Wow. Verse 3, are you there? 1 John 1, 3. That which we have seen and heard, declare we unto you that ye also may have fellowship with us.
[0:37] And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. Now, if we have fellowship with John and the others, and their fellowship is with the Father and the Son, looks like we'd have fellowship with the Father and the Son, doesn't it?
[0:55] And that's his purpose here. These things write we unto you that your joy may be full. One who has not the proper relationship with the Father and the Son, and a fellowship with them, does not have full joy.
[1:13] This then is the message which we have heard of him, heard from him, and declare unto you that God is light. And him is no darkness at all.
[1:28] Darkness being sin and wickedness. God is the absence of that. God is the same. And there's none of it in him. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth.
[1:48] You have sin on you, unconfessed, unforsaken. You do not have fellowship with him. But if we walk in the light, sinlessness.
[2:02] As he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and that's us with him. And the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.
[2:15] And we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[2:36] Do you remember what Brother Miller said about that when he was here? He said, you confess the sins that you know, that you can remember, and he will cleanse you of all the others that you don't remember.
[2:50] All unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. We talk about the blood around here a lot.
[3:00] We believe in the blood, don't we? Some modernistic teachers in recent years have played down the blood and said it just represents the death. And when the blood is mentioned, it's talking about the death of Jesus.
[3:17] The idea that Jesus transported his blood. I've read after those teachers, they say that the blood flowed down his body and off his toes and down the cross and lost itself in the dirt beneath the cross.
[3:36] That's what they say. Now, don't ask me how, but he gathered that blood up. I always like to think it's a golden bowl. I don't know.
[3:46] But one reason that he wouldn't let Mary touch him right after he rose from the dead is he said, I hadn't been to heaven yet. Now, that wasn't his ascension.
[3:59] That was when he took the blood. He took that blood to heaven and gave it to the Father. It's up there. You can find that in Hebrews.
[4:12] But that's poo-pooed a lot by modernistic teachers. The idea that there's blood in heaven. But I've been around a long time, longer than any of you.
[4:25] I remember when everybody believed that the blood was blood, not death. And the blood was in heaven. I've got a book at home that has dozens of quotes from some of the greatest men that ever lived.
[4:40] And they all believed that the blood has been transported to heaven. And I think when we get there, we'll get, you know, that's, won't it be wonderful to look around heaven?
[4:51] I think we'll be able to walk in that temple and see that bowl of blood. Wow. Wow. That's one reason that we are called fundamentalists.
[5:06] We believe the fundamentals. We go back to the beginning. We believe what they always believe, what the old-timers believe. We're not changing things. Trying our best to keep it like it always has been.
[5:18] Fundamental means old-fashioned. What we try to be. Let me read you a couple of verses. Ephesians 1, 7. We have redemption through his blood. Not his death, his blood.
[5:29] Although his death, of course, produced his blood. Romans 5, 9. Being now justified by his blood. Hebrews 9, 22. Without the shedding of blood, there's no remission of sin.
[5:41] Hebrews 9, 12. By his own blood. Watch this. He entered in once. Into the holy place. Having obtained eternal redemption for us.
[5:52] That's when he took the blood to heaven. Into the holy place there. And deposited that blood. Now listen carefully. If you've ever been saved, you're saved by the blood.
[6:08] If you've got some other thing that you're hanging on to, you're not saved yet. You're not saved by the pool. You're saved by the blood. You're saved by the blood. And yet there are millions of people that believe you have to be baptized to be saved.
[6:22] You say that and you take away from the blood. You can't have blood plus. It's blood only. And that pool didn't ever save anybody.
[6:35] You're not saved by this church. Or any other church. For decades there was a large church that said if you're not a member of this church, you can't be saved.
[6:47] They didn't get that in that book there. Joining any church on this earth will not get you saved. If you're saved, you're saved by the blood. Because you realize that on that cross, Jesus died for you and shed his blood to pay for your sins.
[7:05] And God said the only thing that I will accept as payment for man's sins is the blood of my son. God accepted it. You've got to accept it.
[7:16] And then you get together. You didn't do that. You're not saved. If you haven't done it yet, you're not saved. You want to get saved this morning, you'll come that way.
[7:27] And we'll help you in prayer. I'll help you pray a prayer. Lord, I'm trusting you, your death, your blood today. I don't trust my works. I don't trust my baptism, my church, anything else.
[7:38] I'm trusting you and you only in what you did on that cross for me. That's what we'll help you to do if you need to get saved today. Don't forget that part because the rest of my message is for us Christians, okay?
[7:54] There are three big problems that we have in our Christian life that demand a bowl of blood in heaven. The ministry of the blood.
[8:06] The blood has a continuing function. It's there for a purpose, for three purposes. It's not just to get us saved, but it's still good after we're saved and still needed.
[8:21] Now, this chapter, 1 John 1, is all about fellowship with God. And your joy won't be full unless you have fellowship with God.
[8:33] And if you say you haven't sinned, you're a liar. But we've got a way to take care of your sins. And it says the blood of his son cleanses us from all sin.
[8:46] He said us. John is alive. It's after he's saved. And several years after Jesus went back to heaven. And he's representing all of us alive on the earth after we're born again.
[9:00] And he said, it cleanses us from all sin. That's a present-day cleansing. The first thing is broken fellowship with God.
[9:15] That's why we need a continuing ministry of the blood. It can get you back in fellowship with God. And we Christians are in the flesh. We're always going to sin.
[9:25] We're always going to get away from him. Some worse than others. We've got a devil. The devil has some victories. He's stronger than we are. He's smarter than we are. He's going to win sometimes and get us away from God.
[9:38] Sin gets in your life, right? Don't want it to, but it does. Got to do something about it. Because when sin gets in your life, you're not in fellowship with God anymore. In fact, I need to read that.
[9:50] Turn to Isaiah 59. Just look at that verse or two. It's a couple of verses. That you need to know where it is. And you need to be able to find it. And realize that this is why we've got to have blood in heaven right now.
[10:04] Isaiah 59, 1 and 2. Get there as soon as you can. Best statement of this principle, I think, in the Bible.
[10:16] Isaiah 59, 1. Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save.
[10:30] Neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear. So God can still save. It's not his problem if you're not saved.
[10:41] And he can hear your prayers. It's not his problem. His ears aren't plugged. If he doesn't hear you. All right.
[10:51] That's unsaved and saved. And verse 2 says, But your iniquities have separated between you and your God. And your sins have hid his face from you that he will not hear.
[11:07] Now, does that sound like you have fellowship with God? No. If you have sin on you, unconfessed, unforsaken, you don't have any fellowship with God and you don't have any prayer life.
[11:18] You can't get hurt. That is a scary thing to me. You run around here with sin on you and you're hanging on to it and you're not willing to give it up. Do you realize you're in an awful dangerous world without any ability to pray to God?
[11:34] Those verses say he's not going to hear. He looks at you and he says, Man, there's sin on that person. I can't even get close to him and I can't hear him. Does that bother you?
[11:47] Like I said earlier, there's not a day passes. I don't get into that chapter right there. And be sure that I've got all my sins. Not that I haven't sinned. Everybody sins. But I've got a way here to get them cleansed.
[11:59] Praise the Lord. If we confess our sins, he's faithful and just. Verse 9. To forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[12:11] And then zoom, he comes right back into our presence. And our prayer life works again. And our fellowship with him is back intact. That is very important. We've got to have that continuing ministry of the blood to keep in fellowship with God.
[12:26] You're going to sin. You've sinned since you got up this morning. We can't help it. God knew we couldn't help it. So he didn't let that blood fall into the ground.
[12:38] He said, we're going to need that blood for your sins of lack of fellowship. It has nothing to do with your soul. The sins in your body cannot make your soul lost again.
[12:49] But they certainly can rob you of your fellowship with God and he can't hear your prayer. So the first big problem is separation from God because of sin. Broken fellowship because of our sin.
[13:01] All right? When Adam and Eve sinned, let me give you a couple of ideas about this one. What's the first thing they did? They hid.
[13:12] They went and hid in the garden from God. They felt dirty. They felt separated from him. They knew that he wouldn't be pleased with them. They were afraid of him.
[13:24] They had no closeness with him. No fellowship. He came and called them. Hey, where are you? He knew where they were. He is showing to us they weren't together anymore.
[13:35] God is here and there out there somewhere. Where are you? They're out your under head somewhere because they've got sin on them and they're separated from God.
[13:47] No fellowship anymore. Why, every day since they were created in the cool of the day, they had some time with God and they walked together in the garden and had wonderful fellowship with him.
[13:59] Now they don't because sin is on them, you see. Happens to us too, doesn't it? We have to have something to get us back into fellowship with him.
[14:09] Don't you feel separated from him when you sin? Be honest now, don't you? Have you ever had that wonderful fellowship and you just felt like you could almost reach out and touch you? Don't have that when you have sin on you, do you?
[14:23] You know you're separated from him. You feel it. You feel it. Well, that's a ministry of the blood to cleanse us and restore our fellowship. We just simply have to confess it, really be sorry for it, do our best not to repeat it, give it up, and then that wonderful fellowship comes back.
[14:47] I want to show you something here. Go back in time, back in Exodus, when the Israelites were in Egypt and the Passover was instituted and you remember what they had to do with blood.
[15:07] They had to kill a lamb, but it wasn't the death of the lamb that saved them. What was it that saved them? The blood.
[15:17] It's always been the blood. Without the upsetting of blood, there's no remission. So what were they to do? Yeah, they were to put the blood on the door. Now, the side posts, and we've gone through this before, they smeared some here and here.
[15:35] What does that look like? Yeah. They had to smear that blood on their outside door in three places. Then they got inside. God said, now you stay inside.
[15:48] If you come outside, you're on your own. But as long as you're in there, you're safe because you're covered by the blood. And when I see the blood, I'll pass over you.
[16:01] I'm going to send the death angel through the country. And every house that doesn't have the blood, he's going to kill everybody in there. So you get your blood on the door and you get inside and he'll pass over you.
[16:16] Let me ask you a question. Did those people inside see that blood? What would have happened if one of them opened the door and stuck his head out?
[16:30] Been in danger, wouldn't he? Was the blood for God or for the people? The blood was for God to see, not for the people to see. Watch this now.
[16:42] Now, he didn't say, when I see your good Christian life, I'll pass over you. When I see the blood, I'll pass over you.
[16:53] Hey, hey, some of those people inside that room might not have been as good a Christian as some others. But it wasn't the condition of the person. It was the presence of the blood.
[17:05] Amen. I don't understand these people, and I'm not fussing to anybody, who can't understand that it's not how you did it or whether you did it right or anything about you, get your cotton-picking self behind the door and let God see the blood and forget about how you are.
[17:23] None of us can do it right. I've read accounts of people getting saved all my life, and none of them are right. None of them are the same. They're all different. So if you're going to worry about how you did it and whether you did it right, usually they're focusing on the same thing.
[17:40] I can see a bunch of people inside that house there. I wonder if I did it. I wonder if I smeared that blood in the right way. I wonder if I put it just exactly right up there. I'm so afraid I didn't put the blood.
[17:52] I'm so afraid. It's not about you. Bless God, if you got out there with a bucket and splashed it on there, he sees the blood, you're going to be okay. People that worry about their salvation, they've got their focus on here instead of on that blood.
[18:08] When I see the blood, I'm going to pass over you. I don't care what condition you're in inside that house. Even bad Christians, if they're Christians, are going to go to heaven.
[18:21] Do you understand that? Thank God, there's one thing that I never had a problem with and that's whether I was saved or not. Now, my wife thinks I'm preaching to her today because she's had a lot of problems with this.
[18:34] I'm not. I'm not preaching about anybody. I'm just telling you, it's not about you and how you did it. If you did it, he's looking at the blood. If you're trusting the blood, that's all you've got to worry about.
[18:47] The blood's always been for him, not for you. After we're saved, God expects growth into the likeness of Christ.
[19:00] And some of us are farther along in growth than others. But the blood still saved all of us and it cleanses us day by day as we grow.
[19:12] When the high priest went into the temple on the day of atonement once a year, he went alone into the Holy of Holies. Nobody else could go back behind that curtain, just that one man once a year.
[19:24] He's the only one allowed in there. What did he take in there with him? The blood. The blood. How many of those people outside saw that blood? No. He put it on that mercy seat for God to see.
[19:38] The blood's for God, it's not for us. That's the point I'm making. Don't worry about your feelings, your lack of feelings, don't worry about all of that, just God sees the blood and you're okay.
[19:53] Oh. If God's happy with the blood, so am I. and so, because of our fellowship with God and how sin breaks it, we need that continuing ministry of the blood.
[20:05] Number two, feelings of guilt, stained conscience. You know what a bad conscience is? My dad used to say, I couldn't sleep last night but conscience was too clear.
[20:22] Thank God for the conscience, but it sure can make you feel guilty, can't it? Got all kinds of consciences. Bible talks about a good conscience, a conscience void of offense, a weak conscience, a pure conscience, a seared conscience, defiled conscience, evil.
[20:41] We got all kinds of consciences and when it gets defiled and dirty, there's not a detergent, there's not a chemical, there's not an acid, there's not a nuclear bomb that can cleanse a defiled conscience.
[20:54] Don't walk around with your conscience defiled. You know when it is. God has a solution to that problem.
[21:05] Hebrews 9, 14, how much more will the blood of Christ purify your conscience? Wow. Hebrews 10, 22, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our heart sprinkled from an evil conscience.
[21:23] All right? Think about it right now and look at yourself. Does your conscience bother you about something? Consciences are programmed by your coming to church like this and you're hearing preaching and you're finding out what's right and wrong.
[21:39] Your conscience only can work with what you already know and what you put inside your heart. Now you've been here enough to know what's right and to know when you do wrong and your conscience has been programmed.
[21:53] All of you have been here enough. Do you have your conscience worked right? Boy, y'all look sleepy. But you are. I've got to give it to you. You're hanging in there. You might be like that but you're holding them over.
[22:07] We all know what that means. And thank God for a conscience. It'll help you. If you get it programmed right, your conscience is your best friend. But when it's not working and when it's not pure and clean, God can cleanse that conscience.
[22:24] Praise the Lord. That is a ministry of the blood. And then there's one more. Satan's accusations. I'll be glad when that rascal is thrown into the lake of fire.
[22:42] Let me tell you a truth. God does not deal in guilt. The devil deals in guilt.
[22:54] God does not deal in guilt. The devil deals in guilt. If he loses your soul and he can't any longer have you, then he's going to do everything he can to mess your life up.
[23:08] He's going to try to destroy your testimony and your happiness and your effectiveness and all of that. He's going to make you feel guilty. Let me tell you, every one of you has done something really bad sometime back in your past.
[23:23] Every one of you. We all have. Doesn't matter when, the devil has a wonderful memory. in some weak moment, maybe you're a little bit away from the Lord, not prayed up as you should, not been reading your Bible or maybe missing church, he's going to sit down on your shoulder and he's going to bring up that terrible thing you did way back yonder.
[23:47] You all have had that happen. And you sit there just feeling like a dirty dog. How can I be a servant of God?
[23:58] How can I ever do anything for God? How can I be good? How can I be good? Look what I've done. How many have had that? You've had that.
[24:08] You know what I'm talking about. Let me tell you who talked to you about that. That was the devil talking to you. God has never ever brought up anything from your past and given it to you as in a guilty conscience.
[24:21] He's never done that. If you have ever worried about some past sin and let that thing get on you and bother you and worry you, you have just been visited by the devil.
[24:39] Now then, how does the blood work now? Oh man, did you know the devil is afraid of the blood? Did you know that it causes him to shiver in his boots?
[24:53] Did you know that all you've got to say is, devil, I plead the blood against you. I don't know how many times I have started a prayer like this.
[25:05] Satan, it's a prayer or fighting the devil or anything. I am a blood washed child of God. You got him on the run already.
[25:15] All you've got to do is mention the blood. Plead the blood and the devil takes off. He hates it. Can't stand it. God has built something into the blood of Jesus that's a devil killer.
[25:30] Thank God for that. Use it. Use it. When he sits on your shoulder you say, oh, I understand. Oh, that's you and the devil. Blood. Blood of Jesus, devil.
[25:42] He starts shaking. Then you say, I am a blood bought, blood washed child of God and when the blood cleansed me it cleansed me from all those past sins and God hadn't even thought of them since.
[25:58] He even said, I will remember their sins against them and no more forever. My blood has cleansed me. Now devil, you hit the road and you resist the devil he'll flee from you.
[26:13] Pleased the blood man, that's what the blood is for. Goodness gracious is wonderful. He is the accuser of the brethren according to Revelation 12 10. Job is a good example.
[26:26] He went up to, the devil went up to God and said, why? He serves you because you bribe him to serve you. Look at all the good things that you do for him. No wonder he serves you. Take all that away from him.
[26:38] He'll curse you to your face. He's accusing Job to God. He accuses you to God too. Did you know he can accuse you through people?
[26:54] How many times have I had people to cut me to ribbons for no reason? I didn't do anything to them. You've all had it.
[27:05] We've had terrible things said about us. Terrible things. Where'd that come from? These people can't, they don't, why would they feel like that to him?
[27:16] We didn't do anything to them. The devil. The devil gets in them and accuses you by the person. He is the accuser of the brethren not just to God but through people.
[27:29] They leave you so discouraged and so defeated especially if anybody knows what your past is. you're not into somebody that knows about all that stuff or any of that stuff and the devil is going to have him make you feel lower than a snake.
[27:47] That's his job of accusing. Have you ever, you know when he likes to get you? When you're asleep. Have you ever awakened with a vague depression or emptiness or you don't know why you feel so bad?
[28:05] Just woke up and all I've been doing is sleeping and I feel terrible. He likes to catch you in any vulnerable position and make you start your day feeling terrible, depressed, and discouraged.
[28:18] That's always the devil. Always the devil. Always is. God does not deal in guilt. He never has. He never will. You have just, look, this is good. You need to get this.
[28:29] Anytime you ever feel guilty, you've got the devil bothering you, so don't, don't, don't fight a man. Don't, don't go to God. Fight the devil. Resist the devil and he'll flee from you.
[28:42] And tell him you're, tell him you're covered in blood. That gets him every time. Every time. He can't stand it. Oh, there you are again. Ha!
[28:53] Blood! Blood of Jesus! I'm covered by the blood! He's already turned his back running right now. He can't stand it. God has given something about that blood that just scares the devil to death.
[29:09] I know what it is. He knows that one of these days because that blood was shed, you see, he tried his best to keep Jesus off the cross, didn't he? It wasn't just so that we couldn't be saved.
[29:21] It was because there was something about his shedding his blood that was going to condemn the devil too. In the garden he tried to kill Jesus. And all those times during the life of Jesus on the earth when they tried to kill him, they wanted to kill him, all the time wanted to kill him.
[29:37] The devil was afraid that if he ever got to that cross and spilled that blood, he was doomed himself. And so that is exactly why he is so afraid of the blood.
[29:48] You just use the blood and remind him, hey, you're going to be in hell one of these days devil because of the blood. And I'm going to be in heaven one of these days because of the blood. Now you just beat it, you leave me alone, get out of here, leave.
[30:03] I like to just use that verse. Satan, the Bible says, and the Bible's never been wrong yet, it says if I'll resist you, you got to flee. Now consider yourself a resisted.
[30:14] I'm resisting you now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I didn't tell him where to go. it's usually demons, it's not the devil. I've told you this before, but you've probably forgotten it.
[30:27] At least 13% of you remember it, but listen. Jesus said one time when he cast the devil out of a person, he said, come no more in him.
[30:43] Remember that? Now that particular demon would never be able to come to that particular person again and bother him.
[30:54] The devil would have to send another demon because that one was forbidden to ever come back there. Well you and I have the same power that Jesus had over the devil. And every time I find one of them in my house or on my shoulder, every time, I tell them to hit the road, I go through my little formula.
[31:15] Scott's got a good little formula he gave us a while back. Get your own. But I go through my little formula and I say, the Bible says when I resist you you've got to flee. But hold it, don't flee yet.
[31:26] Don't you flee until I say go. I have the authority of Jesus, you've got to listen to me, do exactly what I say. I'm not only going to tell you to flee, I'm going to tell you where to go. And then I'm going to tell you that you can't ever come back here again.
[31:41] I probably have hundreds of them that can't come back to me anymore. And the devil one of these days is going to run out or get tired of losing his people. I'll go you one further.
[31:54] Remember those demons that said to Jesus, don't cast me into hell before my time. I've done that. I've cast them into hell before the time. You ever tried that?
[32:05] I have a thing though. when I discover that I have allowed one in, I don't cast him into hell. It's my fault.
[32:17] I don't know why I'm good to him. I'm just going to be merciful to that one. Maybe I was playing music or something and I let the radio go a while and the first thing I know there's rock music and I didn't know it was coming and I didn't get it turned off.
[32:34] Some way I might have let one in, you know. And I always can, I can always discern. When the devil directly sends one to me and I know that I haven't done anything to bring him in and he has directly sent one to bother me and he does.
[32:53] That's the ones I cast into hell. I want the devil to know, brother, when you send one personally in here to this guy, you're going to lose him forever.
[33:06] So you better quit sending them in here. But the others, the others that I let in recently for the longest time, is this funny or not? Are you enjoying this?
[33:19] For the longest time, they love water. They're going to go to water. The reason there's so many of them in Dubuque is that river out there. They love water. New Orleans, any city on the coast is going to be a hell hole.
[33:34] They love water. So I decide which water they're going to. For a year, I cast them into the Arctic Ocean, hoping they'd freeze to death, you know, whatever.
[33:48] Besides, it's far away from the population centers. And I do. I say, now, I'm going to cast you out. I'm going to tell you to flee. Don't flee yet. I'm going to tell you where you're going.
[33:59] And when I say go, you get out. So I go through this. And I say, because of the Bible, it says to resist the devil to flee from you. I'm resisting you in the blood of Jesus and the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is my authority.
[34:13] And I am commanding you to flee. And here's where I want you to go. I want you to find you a place in the Arctic Ocean, far away from population centers.
[34:27] And when you get there, you are also commanded never to come back to my house again. And you're never allowed to come to my family again.
[34:41] And when you get to where you go in the Arctic Ocean, don't you ever come any closer to me than you will be then. And don't you ever come any closer to any of my family members than you'll ever be. Then you'll be when you get there.
[34:53] That's your, that's your orders. Now go through all that. And I say, you got all that now. And by the way, maybe more than one of you here, I'm talking to everybody in here. When I get all that nailed down.
[35:07] Now go! In the name of Jesus, go! Go! Honestly, folks, there is a present that, I mean, it's like, it's like a cloud has moved. They're gone, man.
[35:18] They have to go. They have to go. Recently, I've been sending them to the middle of the Pacific. I don't know, I just figured the Arctic Ocean was full.
[35:30] I send a few to the Pacific. This is not crazy. this is all biblical.
[35:41] And the thing is, you don't think, you don't realize that you have the same authority that God does over the devil. What did, when he sent out the 70 that time, what did it say he did?
[35:52] He gave them power over all the power of the enemy. That's what he's given you. That's what he's given you and me. We have power over the devil.
[36:04] The devil can only bother you if you let him bother you. You can run him off anytime you want to. He's got to listen to you and you plead the blood. I am a blood washed child of God, standing on the word of God.
[36:17] You have to listen to me as you listen to Jesus. I have the authority of Jesus Christ. I can use the authority of his name against you and I'm going to and I'm going to run you off.
[36:27] But listen to what I say first. And then command him. What are you going to command him? But I always say, when you get there, you cannot come back to this place ever again and you can't get any closer to any of my family members than you will be when you get there.
[36:46] I do that enough, man, and he's going to run out of me, you know. That'll all be at your house. The blood is why I can do that.
[36:57] The blood is why I can do that. The blood is what gives me the authority over the devil. The fact that I'm blood washed is why he has to listen to me. That is a ministry of the blood.
[37:08] Thank God. Thank God. I mean, I have awakened sometimes with this vague feeling. Where did he come from? Haven't you? They like to slip in there when you're asleep.
[37:22] They're stealthy. They're sneaky. And they like to come in when you don't expect it. Look, get aware. Start being aware. You're a spiritual person.
[37:32] Start being aware. The devil is going to send his henchman to try to bother you. He's going to worry you. Look for it. When you know it's there, then fight it. You have the devil to help you fight it.
[37:44] If you confess honestly and you still feel some uneasiness or unworthiness, stop praying immediately. God never has to be begged to forgive you.
[37:58] Never has to be begged. If you say, Lord, I've done this and I'm sorry, I confess it to the best of my ability. If you'll help me, I'll never do it again. I don't want to do it again.
[38:09] I'm sorry. And if you didn't get peace, it's not God's fault. He always hears. You don't have to beg him for this forgiveness. Then turn to the devil and say, okay, I didn't know you were here, but you are.
[38:24] The only reason I can still feel this vague uneasiness is because you're here in my presence and I didn't realize. And then start in to cast him out.
[38:36] I'll guarantee you that uneasy feeling will leave. When he leaves, you'll feel at peace. And you'll know that there's no demonic presence near.
[38:46] So if you pray to God and still feel uneasy, you've got a devil there. And so you work on him. All right. Revelation 12, 11. Listen carefully. They overcame the devil by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony.
[39:03] They spoke to him. They talked to him. That's the way, that's the way that you can beat the devil. That's the way that the blood helps you in your battle with the devil.
[39:15] Those are the three ways that the ministry of the blood continues to be effective. Restore fellowship when you have sin on you. Not your soul. Your soul never sinned. But on your life, you can't have fellowship, can't pray.
[39:28] Plead the blood. Confess your sin. What's the second one? Anybody. Guilty conscience.
[39:39] Right. All right. What's the third one? Oh, yes. Fight the devil. Bless God. I like that one. Get rid of the devil. Let's bow our eyes closed, please.
[39:50] Let's bow our eyes closed, please. Let's bow our eyes closed, please.
