[4:28] I didn't plan to do this to turn to 2nd Corinthians let's just remind ourselves again of what he had to fight to go in chapter 11 starting with 23 we'll get into a discussion or something else we won't get there we just want to see what troubles he had are the minister of Christ I speak to the people I for now watch this in laborers more of them in stripes above measure he wasn't whipped once but he lost count in prisons more often more frequently in deaths often he said I'm going to die many times of the Jews five times received I'm going to strike so he won in the law it will batten them to hit a man over 40 times so they won't stop 39 which is and said thrice or three times the wheat was raw mixed egg once
[5:38] I was stoned we know how that killed him too God had raised him to dead thrice or three times I stuck the ship wreck a night and day every day I been in deep floating ground in the ocean of the board in journey in perils of waters and perils means dangers robbers and perils of my own countrymen perils of the city perils in the sea perils among the fall threats everywhere I went I was in danger in weariness and weariness and painfulness and watching me staying awake in hunger and thirst fasting cold and nakedness beside those things that are without that which cometh only daily the care of all the churches spiritual burdens!
[6:30] mental anguish as well it was weak and I not weak it did not hurt enough I must need glory I glory in things which concern my infirmities the God Father our Lord Jesus Christ would you bless forever know that I lie and I told you the truth in Damascus the governor under the king kept the city of the damascenes with garrison desiring to apprehend me through the window to basket!
[7:06] He didn't even tell them all the times he did still when they tried to catch him and kill him what kept him good I wish I knew what was inside that man I said every Christian I know they let me get that I preached a lot of sermons on motivation and yet I do not know how to encapsulate what Paul had inside him driving him he was just in deep fatigue was that good word tired of being even sad imprisoned and forsaken by most of his elders and that's the burden brother that's the burden people leave you that's the burden yeah and it's what knocks the little people out to it's one thing to be opposed by the evil and by the outside but when the insider gets you it hurts deeply and he had people to leave him and he never stopped never said he keep going how can I get that to you what is that secret ingredient there if that dear old warrior possessed that you and I seem to react why don't
[8:39] I care for lost people like you do I do care for lost people and you do too and I'm like you every time I read about somebody dying or something I think I wonder where you mean I wonder if somebody got to it we all think that way we care but we don't have enough care to keep us going like he did and I wish we did Paul said I can wish myself a person of Christ for my brethren that's used so they could get saved I go to hell for them wow you won't find anybody else like that fanaticism pervert action obsession go go go get up and go again I don't know all of them Paul but I want to name two three things and I will ask

[11:56] God I can't serve that God enough I owe him my soul he owed Jesus Christ I don't know how we come to church and sit and look at that call service after service after service and not go out there and say I owe that Jesus Christ everything I can give why don't we get it in us like you got it in him we owe the same thing he did he owed Stephen so won't him he died being faithful to God with Paul watching him and kill him something about Stephen's countenance and words in his dying hour lodged into this old warrior's heart he couldn't get away from him Holy Spirit hammered hammered hammered hammered Paul you don't have what he had you killed him when Paul saved Jesus that it's hard for you to kick against the conviction and I don't know how long that was as long as it was day after day that hammered in his heart
[13:07] I killed him he got here to my hands he owed that man Stephen died that Paul might live he owed every dear saint of God that he imprisoned for going from city to city thinking he would do his God favor by finding these in this sect of Christianity put them out of business now he learns they were right he!

[15:39] Wright was born here's the preacher's boy and that little driver gal came to me and said that man in her southern drawl I said yes ma'am everybody loved you respect her you ever thought about your son and you had to bring you home and I lied to I said no man God was hammering me all the time about it and I lied there and I could not get away from it I couldn't sleep I couldn't eat I looked up and say I want a bad boy I would raise the preacher's home I didn't depart mean things I just didn't have a lot of things so God let me lie!
[16:36] this was! that precious woman! he did I felt so terrible Holy Spirit said you are a liar I lied that lady that tried to help me I made it for a couple of days I jumped out of my bed woke my dad and mother up so I got to see everybody else or some of you did the same thing you came right at me in my life and you like a brother but you got me saved baby don't you think I would that do yes sir you own somebody right now you think that the person that most are you saved how many of you are right now you think that person most are you have to share it with you brother yeah you created him mostly how were you

[26:52] to know to that you know I read these statistics 125,000 would they die and go to hell and 138,000 are born into this world every day we never hear the name Jesus Christ that is a lot of people I have been in this business all of my life and I had one person walk up to me and ask me what I said one person never had anybody walk to my person never had a soul there I said my convenience store waiting to pay him scout around him he paid me on shoulder I turned to him he said you died you know you tried him
[27:56] I smiled and threw there man that is a wonderful thing that you asked people yes I do know I'm a preacher I'm a Christian but it's a wonderful thing that you have to just to cost a perfect stranger and asking that question so you keep asking what a blessing you made to be today that's the only ones that ever asked did you know that Jesus told us to go in the world to preach the gospel and preach did you know that was done in Paul's generation did you know there's some verses in Colossians you can read them Colossians 1 6 and 1 23 that say that the gospel has been heard about every creature under heaven and that's the last time we ever been from then on we dropped the ball and now we can't ever catch up when I was a young preacher they were giving this statistic you could take
[29:01] Chinese people and put them seven abreast and march them in the ocean you never run out of Chinese people you think about that we're never rich at all no way to reach them a billion dollars you know how they work a billion is there's a billion Chinese billion Indians billion billion billion dollars you laid them stacked them up with reach is 60 million that that money I wish I had a million dollars but a billion dollars will reach 60 miles that's how much bigger it bigger it is we'll never reach them we're going to have blood on our hands you know why we don't reach we don't care you know why generation reach this generation because they care something inside that we don't have first thing is he had a debt he knew it he had the truth has ever dawned on you that you know that we have truth that all these religious people all hope they don't have the
[30:31] Bible truth you know you can sit anybody in this church can sit down with anyone and tell them how to go ahead and take them to the verses probably do you realize what a responsibility that is all knew he knew he knew I've got something that I know they don't know I've got to go tell them well we have the same thing but we don't have that thing inside that I've got to go tell!
[31:01] how do we lay our head on our pillows at night without looking back over the day saying I tried my bed we don't care don't care we don't care like we all do you know about false religion he lived in it until he was 30 years old Jesus sobering words he knew this entered into the straight gate because wide is the gate broads the way the instruction many go in there narrow is the gate straight in the way that leads to life you know that Paul knew that he did something to him he knew that not everyone said he knew that I know it you know it you have the truth you're saved what are you doing with it what would you think about a doctor that that has discovered that you're an answer wouldn't tell anybody what you think about you know you know you have a cure for something worse than cancer when I was a boy fully over the scourge a lot of my generation we did it bad right you got it you got it in some kind of water and then when I was growing up
[32:47] I was in the woods and the creeks and the pond and everywhere my mother said son did you do that creek yes man you going to get over you how many you're indestructible can you that bother you they didn't know what caused it and a man named Salk figured it out and the Salk vaccine wiped out and the doctor who saved it and died and take it forward and wiped it out what were we thought of saving and Salk you may have told us that's not nearly worse if you and I know we have to repent from and keep it to our savings don't you agree he had the truth he knew it and I meant we we're tonight number three
[33:59] I've just been going to you minutes I don't watch clocks sir and the third I just felt like God and it does something to a man's character is the reason he is somebody demanding on you you won't come through there's something that gets my goal when somebody says I don't see you you go he doesn't show up something wrong with character that doesn't bother me all say God is depending on me I know he is so it ought to bother us so many Christians we call that just not going to reach most churches just not going to reach them seven out of ten
[35:05] I read this I read seven out of ten Christian school graduates are out of the Lord's service and even out of church after two years seven out of ten and of every hundred Christian college grads only three end up in four family service and after ten years on one of those services they're not going to help us you don't depend on somebody else to do it the view is going to hell if you don't remember you and I can't you can't wait for somebody else to do it these same Roman church members that Paul wrote to the best book he wrote later on when he was in prison when he was imprisoned and waiting for real execution he said at my first answer my first court day no man stood in not one member of that church came down to the court house and still with Paul nothing on it that's what he said you're not going to handle the so-called
[36:24] Christians they're going to fail you and let you down it was only six years later when Paul was facing Martha and he said it my first answer no man stood with you but all or simply I pray God it might not these days in their charge somehow it was a little bit back he didn't do it what he didn't get done God had to have him faithful he's got a job to do the angels can't do he's got to do it himself God needs him I don't know if you want to stop here do you feel like you're over there him
