[0:12] On behalf of Lord Grace Church in Seoul, I'd like to thank you all for inviting me.
[0:23] When you plant the church at Athens, we were very excited. We pray together.
[0:36] We pray together. I'm very thankful to God so that I can see you face to face today. Lord Grace Church in Seoul started in 2009.
[0:53] Five families got together to start the church. Just like you, we were hoping to have a community that loves the gospel together.
[1:10] Right now there are about 140 congregation serving the church together. I have three common things with sharing with Walt.
[1:28] We were both students at Pastor College. We planted a church at the same time together.
[1:44] We were both church planters. And we both have Asian wives.
[1:55] Yeah! There are certain things that we are different.
[2:07] We are very tall. Walt is very tall. He has great beers. When I see Walt, I learn from him about his sincerity and humility.
[2:26] Two days a week, I learn from him about his sincerity and humility. Once every two months, we have a phone call together and serve each other. Last year when I was burned out, Lady가 저를 기도해주고, Walt가 저를 기도해주고 섬겨주셨습니다.
[2:48] Walt prayed for me and he served me. Walt의 탁월한 섬김이 저를 일으켰습니다. His great serving raised me up. Do you know who is my best friend in America?
[3:01] Walt is. Not him. I don't think I can translate this, but you heard him. 제가 가장 사랑하는 미국 친구가 여러분과 함께 있어서 행복합니다.
[3:13] I'm very happy that my most loving friend is with you. 코너스톤 처치에서 다섯 번 한국을 방문해주셨습니다. 코너스톤 church has visited five times in Korea.
[3:25] Walt가 선교팀을 데리고 우리 교회를 섬겨주셨습니다. He led a missionary team came to Korea to serve his church. Walt와 선교팀의 헌신과 복음의 모델이 우리를 놀랍게 도전을 주었습니다.
[3:40] Walt's missionary team challenged us very greatly with his loving and serving hearts. 교회를 대신해서 여러분들에게 감사를 드립니다.
[3:50] On behalf of my church, I'd like to thank you all. 저는 오늘 교회가 무엇인지를 말씀드리려고 합니다. I'd like to share a message about what is church.
[4:01] I'd like to share what Jesus was talking about the church. 예수님이 말씀하시는 교회의 권세가 무엇인지를 말씀드립니다.
[4:13] I'd like to share the message about how Jesus was talking about the power of church. 마티복음 16장 13절부터 19절을 읽어주시겠습니다.
[4:23] I'd like to read Matthew chapter 16 verse 13 through 19. It's an ESC version. It is said, Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, Who do people say that the son of man is?
[4:41] And they said, Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. He said to them, But who do you say that I am?
[4:53] Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the son of the living God. And Jesus answered him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father who is in heaven.
[5:06] And I tell you, You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you lose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
[5:26] Amen. 성령님이 은혜해 주시기를 함께 기도하겠습니다. I would like to pray that God give us the grace today. I'll pray. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for planting the Lord's church here.
[5:40] 교회의 권세가 무엇인지 깨닫게 해 주십시오. Lord, we pray that you let us realize what's the power of the church. Trinity Grace 교회를 통하여 주의 나라가 세워지게 해 주십시오.
[5:53] Lord, through Trinity Grace Church, I'd like you to build the kingdom of God on this land. 예수님이 말씀하신 교회의 권세를 이 교회가 품게 해 주십시오.
[6:04] Let this church embrace the meaning of the power of church, what Jesus said. 저와 우리 모두에게 성령님의 은혜를 구합니다. Me and for all of us here, I pray that your grace be with us today.
[6:18] 예수님 이름으로 기도드립니다. In Jesus' name we pray. 교회는 주님에 대한 바른 신앙 고백 위에 세워진 공동체입니다. The church is a community built on the good confession of the faith to Jesus Christ.
[6:33] 예수님은 3년 동안 제자들과 함께 시간을 보내셨습니다. 예수님은 3년 동안 제자들과 함께 시간을 보내셨습니다. 예수님은 3년 동안 제자들과 함께 시간을 보내셨습니다. 어느 날 제자들에게 물으셨어요. One day he asked his disciples, 너희는 나를 누구라 하느냐?
[6:45] Who do you say that I am? 사람들은 나를 누구라 하느냐? Who do people say the son of man is? 그때 제자들은 어떤 사람들은 당신을 세례 요한처럼 훌륭한 선생이라고 합니다.
[7:03] They replied, some say you are a great rabbi like John the Baptist. 어떤 일은 능력이 많은 엘리야 같다고 합니다. And others say a powerful prophet like Elijah. 예수님은 다시 제자들에게 물으셨습니다.
[7:15] Jesus then asked his disciples again. 그때 베드로가 위대한 고백을 합니다. Then Simon Peter made a great confession. 주님 그리스도시여 살아계신 하나님의 아들이십니다.
[7:27] He said, you are the Christ, the son of living God. 이 고백은 우리기에 익숙하지요. This confession is too familiar to our ears. 크게 이상하게 들리지 않습니다. So it does not sound strange to us anymore.
[7:39] 그러나 2000년 전의 상황에서는 감히 누구도 이런 말을 할 수 없는 충격적인 고백입니다. But in that situation 2000 years ago, this was a shocking remark that no one was able to even think about.
[7:52] 이 고백은 예수님 당신은 갈릴리 빈민촌의 목수의 아들이 아닙니다. This confession means Jesus, you are not just the son of a poor carpenter from a poor village of Galilee.
[8:03] 당신은 구약 선지자들이 이야기한 메시아 그리스도입니다. You are the Christ that the prophets of Old Testament mentioned, Savior and King. 당신은 구원자이며 하늘의 왕이십니다.
[8:16] You are the Savior and you are the King of the Heaven. 당신은 땅에 석한 분이 아니라 하늘에 계신 하나님의 아들이십니다. You don't belong to the earth, but you are the Son of God in the Heaven. 이 고백이 있기 전까지 이 땅에 사는 사람들은 예수님이 누군지 몰랐습니다.
[8:32] Until this confession, no one knew who Jesus was. 이스라엘의 율법학자들도 몰랐어요. The scholars of law did not know. 땅의 권세자들도 몰랐습니다.
[8:42] Nor the powers on the earth. 예수님이 누구신지 베드로처럼 고백하는 사람이 없었어요. No one confessed who Jesus was like Peter. 누가 베드로에게 이것을 가르쳐 주었죠?
[8:54] Who taught this to Peter? 누가 가르쳐 주었습니까? Who taught it to Peter? 땅에 속한 혈육이 아니라 하늘에 계신 아버지께서 가르쳐 주셨다고 17절에 말합니다.
[9:05] In verse 70 he said, it is not taught by the flesh on the earth, but the God in the Heaven taught this to Peter. 베드로는 이 베드로의 고백을, 예수님은 이 베드로의 고백을 들으시고, 한 번도 사용한 적이 없는 교회라는 단어를 사용합니다.
[9:24] When Jesus heard this confession by Peter, he used the word church, which is never used before. 18절에 내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리라. In verse 18 it is said, on this rock I will build my church.
[9:37] 예수님은 베드로의 고백 위에 나의 교회를 세우리라고 합니다. Jesus declared that he would build his church on top of this confession of Peter. Jesus mentioned his confession as the rock.
[10:00] Peter's confession saying that you are the Christ, the son of the living God. He mentioned this as a rock. This confession is unshakable rock.
[10:16] Everlasting truth. 2000년 동안 교회는 이 진리 위에 세워져 왔습니다. For the last 2000 years, this church has been built on the good confession of the faith on this rock.
[10:30] 여러분의 교회, 트리니티 교회도 이 고백 위에 세워졌습니다. Trinity Grace Church has been built on such a confession. 한국에는 아직도 예수님이 누군지 모르는 사람이 많습니다.
[10:40] But there are so many people in Korea who still don't know who Jesus is. 유명한 삼성에 다니는 사람들도 예수님이 누군지 몰라요. So many people working in such a famous corporation like Samsung don't know who Jesus is.
[10:53] 유명한 대학의 교수들도 예수가 아직 세례요한처럼 훌륭한 선생인 줄 알아요. professors of many renowned colleges in Korea still think that Jesus is just a good rabbi like John the Baptist.
[11:06] 한국의 유명한 K-pop 가수들도 예수님을 엘리야처럼 능력이 많은 사람이라고 생각해요. Some very popular K-pop singers in Korea still say Jesus is just a powerful prophet like Elijah.
[11:18] 그들은 예수님을 하나님의 아들이라 고백하지 않아요. They don't say Jesus is the son of God. 그들은 교회가 아니지요. 이 진리 위에 서 있지 않기 때문이지요.
[11:29] Because there is no confession of faith like this. 한국은 작은 나라입니다. Korea is a small country. 150년 전에는 복음이 들어오지 않았어요. Until 150 years ago in Korea no one had the confession of faith like this.
[11:42] 150년 전에는 베드로의 고백을 하는 사람이 한국에 없었습니다. 도마스 성교사가 1866년 9월 4일 미국의 무역선 제너럴 썰머너를 타고 한국에 왔습니다.
[12:01] Reverend Robert Thomas came to Korea on September 4th in 1866 writing on the US merchant ship USS General Sherman. When Reverend Thomas came to Korea he came with a Bible written in Korean.
[12:21] 성교사가 배에서 내리자마자 조선의 군사들이 와서 토마스 성교사를 죽입니다. Right after he was off board from the ship the Korean soldiers came to him and killed him.
[12:34] 그때 그의 나이 27입니다. He was only 27 years old at the time. 한국 교회사는 그를 최초의 순교자라고 말합니다. In the history of Korean church he was the first martyr in Korea.
[12:46] 토마스 성교사를 죽인 병사는 박춘건이라는 사람입니다. The man who killed Reverend Thomas was a soldier named 춘건 Park. 토마스 성교사는 죽어가면서 박춘건에게 예수라고 외치고 죽었어요.
[13:00] When Reverend Thomas was stabbed by his sword and was dying he screamed Jesus! 그리고 품에 있는 성경책을 선물로 주었어요. And he gave the Korean Bible that he held to 춘건 who killed him as a present.
[13:15] 가방에 갖고 있던 성경책이 바닥에 떨어졌습니다. All the Bible books that he was having in his bag was just, you know, spread around the site. 지나가던 소년 최칠랑이 성경책 세 권을 주었습니다.
[13:28] When Reverend Thomas died there was a boy named Chirang Choi who was just a 13 years old boy who was just passing by and he picked up three Korean Bibles on the site. 소년은 이 성경책을 박영식이라는 사람에게 주었습니다.
[13:42] He gave one of them to a man named Youngshik Park. 박영식은 이 성경 그때 대한민국은 가난해서 종이가 별로 없었습니다. At the Korea, Korea was very poor so paper was a very rare material at the time.
[13:57] 이 페이퍼가 너무 고급이고 좋았습니다. Youngshik Park realized that the quality of the paper was very good. 박영식은 이 종이로 찢어서 벽지를 만드는 겁니다.
[14:09] So he decided to tear off the papers and use it as a wallpaper for his home. 이 종이를 찢어서 집에 벽지로 사방을 둘렀습니다. He just surrounded his room with this paper from the Bible.
[14:23] 얼마 후 박영식은 벽지로 사용된 누워서 성경을 읽기 시작합니다. After a while, Youngshik Park was lying down and started reading the scripture that was used as the wallpapers. 나는 길이요 진리요 생명이니 I'm the way, I'm the 나로 말미암지 않고는 하나님께로 갈 수 없는 이라를 봅니다.
[14:42] I'm the way, I'm the truth, I'm the life Not through me, you cannot enter the kingdom of God. 나는 부활이요 생명이니 I'm the resurrection and I'm the life Whoever believes in me will leave.
[15:03] Who is he? 박영식은 그를 알고 싶었어요. Youngshik Park was curious about it. He wanted to know him. 어딘가 구원자가 있다는 걸 알게 된 거예요. He just realized that there is a savior somewhere.
[15:15] 그는 그리스도를 알기 시작했습니다. He started to know Jesus Christ. 누가 박영식에게 그리스도를 알게 해주었습니까? Who let Youngshik Park know Jesus Christ?
[15:28] 아무도 조선에는 그리스도를 아는 자가 없었는데 There is nobody in Korea who knew about Jesus Christ. 하늘에 계신 아버지가 그에게 깨우침을 주셨습니다.
[15:39] Only the God in heaven gave him this realization. Amen. 최 칠랑이 박영식의 이 도배된 집을 샀습니다.
[15:51] This 13-year-old boy, Chi-Jung Choi, had grown up to be an adult and he purchased a house of Youngshik Park. 이 집을 여관으로 만들었습니다. He renovated a house and started a motel business with that house.
[16:04] 토마스 성교사가 죽은 지 27년이 지났습니다. 27년 후, 마페 성교사가 평양에 복음을 전하러 왔습니다.
[16:16] In 1893, 마페 성교사가 평양에 복음을 전하러 왔습니다. In 1893, 마페 성교사가 평양에 복음을 전하러 왔습니다. 이 여관에 하룻밤 자게 되었습니다. And he stayed at Chi-Jung's motel for one night.
[16:28] 그는 이 도시에 복음을 전하고 싶었지만 마음이 무너져 있었습니다. He wanted to give the gospel to this city, but he wasn't very motivated.
[16:44] He was trying to go to bed and he saw these wallpapers. What is this? These are the scriptures.
[16:54] He was surprised and he became very courageous. Lord, your working here is amazing.
[17:09] Lord, please give me strength. He gave the gospel to the owner of the motel. For this encounter, Chi-Rang Choi accepted Jesus as his lord in 1894.
[17:31] And this motel became the place of worship. And this is the story of the first church in Korea, Nol Dari Church. 누가 최칠랑에게 예수 그리스도를 알려주었습니까?
[17:43] Who let Chi-Rang Choi know about Jesus Christ? 주는 그리스도시여 살아계신 하나님의 아들이라고 고백한 마페 성교사를 통하여 그리스도를 전한 것입니다. Through Reverend Moffet who witnessed that the Lord is the Christ and Son of God.
[18:01] He, God, let Chi-Rang Choi know who Jesus Christ is. 성령이 최칠랑을 감동하여 그리스도를 알게 해주었습니다. The Holy Spirit moved Chi-Rang Choi's heart and let him know Jesus.
[18:15] 몇 년 후, 토마스 성교사를 죽인 박춘건이 그 도시에 살았는데, The Chun-Gun Park who killed Reverend Thomas was living in the city.
[18:27] 그도 회개하고 이 교회 장로가 됩니다. After a few years, Chun-Gun Park also repented and accepted Jesus as his Lord, and he even became the elder of that church.
[18:38] 1907년에 평양 한국의 부흥운동이 일어났는데, 그 교회가 바로 이 장대현 교회, 여기로부터 출발했습니다. In 1907, there was a great revival in the city of Pyongyang, and this church became 장대현 church, which became the center of this great revival in Korea.
[18:57] The way how God works to build a church in Korea is amazing. Only 150 years ago, there was no one who had the confession of Peter in Korea.
[19:15] 예수를 바르게 고백한 토마스 성교사가 순교의 피를 흘렸습니다. But a man with that confession came to Korea and shed his blood of martyr.
[19:27] 그리고 교회의 머리이신 그리스도가 놀라운 기적적인 방법으로 한국의 교회를 세웠습니다. And our Lord, the head of the church, built his church in Korea in such a miraculous way.
[19:37] I believe Trinity Grace Church have this good confession. And God will build his church here in his amazing and miraculous way.
[19:58] 하나님이 구체적으로 일하실 거예요. God will work very practically here. 예수님이 말씀하신 교회의 건세는 무엇입니까? So what is the power of the church that Jesus mentioned?
[20:11] 우리가 누구에게 소속되어 있다는 것을 아는 것은 우리의 능력의 원천이 누구인지를 아는 것입니다. Knowing who you belong to is knowing the source of your power.
[20:22] 우리가 북한에 소속되어 있다면 힘의 원천은 북한 정부이지요. If you belong to the North Korean government, then the source of your power is the North Korean communist government.
[20:33] 우리가 미국 정부에 속해 있다면 힘의 원천은 미국 정부입니다. If you belong to the U.S. government, then the source of your power is the free and democratic government. 우리가 교회 공동체에 속해져 있다면 힘의 원천은 주인이신 예수 그리스도입니다.
[20:48] The fact that we belong to the church community means that the source of our power is Jesus, the king of heaven and earth. Jesus has all the power of heaven and earth.
[21:06] He mentioned three things about the power of church. In verse 18, he said, You are my church. 너희는 음부의 권세가 이기지 못할 것이며 And the gates of hate will not overcome it.
[21:22] 19절에 너희에게 천국 열쇠를 줄이라. In verse 19, he said, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. 생각해 보세요. Think about this. 어떤 권력자가 이 세 가지 권세를 줄 수 있습니까?
[21:35] What kind of powerful man can give you these three powers to you? 트럼프 대통령이 이 세 가지 권세를 줄 수 있습니까? Do you think that President Trump can give you these powers? 이건 예수님의 허풍입니까?
[21:47] Is this just bluffing by Jesus? 정신병자의 말인가요? Is this just a mention by a lunatic? 하늘의 영광과 능력을 가진 분이 아니면 줄 수 없는 권세입니다.
[21:58] This is a power that no one can give unless that man has the power of heaven and earth. 너희는 나의 교회라고 합니다. He said, you are my church. 여러분은 주님의 소유입니다.
[22:08] You belong to him. White가 이 교회의 주인이 아닙니다. White is not the owner of this church. Christ is the owner of this church.
[22:21] 여기 테이블이 있어요. There is a table here. For this table to be mine, there are two conditions has to be met. 제가 직접 재료를 사서 만들면 내 것입니다.
[22:33] The first one is that if I purchase the resources to make this table by myself, and if I make this table by myself, then this becomes mine. 제가 1,000 달러를 주고 사면 내 것입니다.
[22:46] And the other is that if I pay 1,000 dollars to purchase this table, then this table becomes mine. How can we be the possession of Jesus Christ?
[22:58] Because God created us, we are Lord's possession. When we were away from God because of our sin, God paid for our redemption.
[23:18] Jesus came here to pay the ransom to buy his people back from the world.
[23:33] We are the body of Christ. 성도는 예수님과 영원히 분리되지 않는, 연결되어 있는 예수님의 소유입니다. The congregation of the church is connected to Jesus with indivisible unification, and it belongs to Jesus.
[23:50] 너희는 땅에서는 미국 정부의 소속이지만, 나의 영원한 소유가 되었다. Jesus said, You belong to the U.S. government on this earth, but you belong to me in the heaven.
[24:00] 내가 너희를 지었을 뿐 아니라 아들의 피를 주고 샀다. You are eternally in my possession. I bought you with the blood of my son. 그래서 너희는 영원히 나의 소유다.
[24:12] That's because you are mine forever. 사울이 교회를 박해하고 다메색으로 갈 때입니다. When Saul was on his way to Damascus to persecute the church, 부활하신 예수님이 나타나셔서, 사울아, 내가 어찌하여 나를 박해하느냐 물으십니다.
[24:29] The resurrected Jesus showed up to him and said, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? 사울은 예수님을 박해한 적이 없어요. Saul never persecuted Jesus. 사울은 예수 믿는 사람을 박해했습니다.
[24:41] He just persecuted those who believed in Jesus. 그런데 예수님은, 사울아, 네가 왜 나를 박해하니? 라고 합니다. But Jesus said, Why do you persecute me? 왜 그러셨죠?
[24:53] Why did he say that? 예루살렘에서 박해를 받는 성도들은 예수님의 소유이기 때문이죠. It is because those who were persecuted in Jerusalem was Jesus' possessions.
[25:10] Jesus is on his throne. He saw those who were persecuted. He was responsible for the life of those who were persecuted. 2009년 9월, 주님의 은혜교회가 시작되었습니다.
[25:23] On September 2009, Lord's Grace Church has started. 저희도 여러분처럼 매주 의자를 세팅하고 접고 했습니다. Just like you, we had to unfold the chairs and arrange the seats every week.
[25:37] 지난 10년 동안 6번 이사했어요. For the last 10 years, the church has moved 6 times. 다섯 가정, 2, 30명 모였으니 얼마나 보잘것없는 모임입니까? We were just five families, about 20 or 30 people.
[25:50] So, to the eyes of the people in the world, we looked small, shabby, and terrible. 매주 마다, 우리는 진짜 초라하구나, 작구나, 형편없구나, 라는 생각이 들었어요. Every week, we just thought ourselves as small, shabby, and terrible.
[26:04] 여러분은 아니시겠지만, maybe you're not like this. 우리는 굉장히 초라해 보였습니다. We looked pretty small. 그러나 우리가 누구입니까? But who we are?
[26:16] 예수 그리스도의 소유이다. We are the position of Jesus Christ. 하나님의 아들의 생명값을 주고 산 소유이다. We belong to Jesus that Jesus paid with his life.
[26:29] 두 번째, 교회는 음부의 건세을 이깁니다. Second, the church will win the power of the hell. 교회는 힘의 원천이 하나님이시기에 음부의 건세가 교회를 막지 못합니다.
[26:44] This means that the power of hate cannot stop the church because the source of the power of the church is God. 음부의 건세, 사탄의 건세의 최고 건세는 죽음이지요.
[26:55] The power of hate, in other words, the utmost power of Satan is the death. 그런데 사탄은 예수님을 무덤의 죽음으로 가둘 수 없었습니다. But the Satan could not confine Jesus in the tomb with the power of death.
[27:10] 우리는 예수에게 속해 있지요. We belong to Jesus. We are indivisible from Jesus. 사탄이 가진 건세의 죽음으로 성도를 누릴 수 없지요.
[27:24] Satan could not oppress his congregation with his power of death. 이불에서 2장 14절, 15절 말씀입니다. 히브리우 2, verse 14 and 15.
[27:36] 읽어주시죠. Jesus might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is the devil, and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
[27:47] 그리스도께서 십자가의 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 잡고 있는 마귀를 멸하셨습니다. Christ has destroyed the devil who holds the power of death by his death. 예수님의 소유가 된 성도들도 죽음을 두려워하지 않지요.
[28:01] Now the church, the Christians who belong to Jesus do not fear death. 우리들 친구들 중에는 자녀든 가족이든 암이나 교통사고로 먼저 죽기도 합니다.
[28:13] Sometimes our families or friends suffer from incomprehensible death due to cancers or traffic accidents. 이해할 수 없는 죽음 때문에 마음이 고통스럽기도 하죠.
[28:23] It is hard to understand that that really hardened our hearts. 그러나 여러분, 성도들은 죽음을 두려워하지 않는 건세를 가졌습니다. But Christians have the power of not fearing the death.
[28:36] 3년 전, 아내의 어머니, 장모님이 하늘나라로 가셨습니다. 3 years ago, my mother-in-law returned to heaven. 혈액암으로 먼저 하늘나라로 가셨습니다.
[28:47] She died because of leukemia. 한국은 장래 문화가 화장인데요. In Korean culture, people are generally cremated after death. 어머님을 불 속에 넣었습니다.
[28:59] I put her into the flame. 온 가족이 슬픔에 시간을 보내고 있었어요. All the family was saddened.
[29:10] 90분 후에 After 90 minutes 어머님이 한 항아리에 담겨서 나왔어요. Her body was contained in just a small jar and came back to us.
[29:20] 제가 그 항아리를 안았어요. I hold that jar in my chest. 굉장히 따뜻했어요. It was very warm. 그때 알게 된 한 가지 진실이 있어요.
[29:30] There is one truth that I realized at the time. 우리는 한 줌의 흙이구나. We are just a handful of dusts. 우리는 한 줌의 흙이구나. We are just a handful of dusts.
[29:41] 여러분, 이 순간 크리스도인에게 죽음을 두려워하지 않는 건세가 있음을 아십니까? I just want you to believe that We Christians have a power not to fear the death.
[29:51] 한 줌의 흙어머니를 안고 있지만 I was just holding a small jar of dust. 부활의 소망이신 주님이 나의 주님이시기에 Because the Lord who has the hope of resurrection is my Lord.
[30:04] 그날 어머님을 만날 거예요. I will see my mom One day. I will see my mom who has resurrected Do you believe that you have this power of not fearing the death?
[30:21] The third power that Jesus mentioned I give you the keys to the heaven In verse 19, he said I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven And whatever you bind on earth be bound in heaven And whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven Do you have this key that Jesus gave to you?
[30:52] 성도는 땅에서 메고 푸는 일을 합니다 The congregation do this abounding and losing on this earth Jesus said Where two or three come together in his name Is granted the power of handling the scene Why such power was given to the congregation It is because the one who has the power to overcome the death is among us The key can open the door or lock the door Do you have this key to open the door to the kingdom of heaven?
[31:38] There is a one reason why not everybody can open the door to the kingdom of heaven Every people have two problems The first one is that everybody is sinners The second is that everybody is not righteous But the God in the kingdom of heaven Is without sin and he is righteous Everybody is not righteous Everybody is If anyone wants to open the door to the kingdom of heaven They have to solve these two problems The problem of sin and problem of being righteous How do you handle your problem of sin and righteousness?
[32:26] Only B 하나님 앞에 의롭게 된 자로 천국의 문을 열 수 있습니다.
[33:00] 예수님을 믿지 않으면 죄와 의의 문제를 해결하지 못했기에 문을 열 수가 없어요.
[33:12] anyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ cannot open the door to the kingdom of heaven because he did not solve the problem of sin and righteousness. Bill Gates가 아무리 많은 돈을 쌓았다고 해도 천국의 문을 열 수가 없어요.
[33:25] No matter how much Bill Gates has money in his bank account, he cannot open the door to the kingdom of heaven. Trump가 아무리 높은 권세를 가졌다 할지라도 천국의 문을 열 수가 없어요.
[33:36] No matter how powerful the president Trump is, he cannot open the door to the kingdom of heaven. Mother Teresa가 아무리 놀라운 선행을 쌓았을지라도 천국의 문을 열 수가 없어요.
[33:46] No matter how many good deeds Mother Teresa did, she cannot open the door to the kingdom of heaven with that. 오직 예수님은 자신의 위로운 삶과 십자가로 모든 것을 완성하시고 교회에게 천국의 열쇠를 주셨습니다.
[34:00] Only Jesus completed everything by his righteous life and the death on the cross. And he gave the keys of the kingdom of heaven to his church. 교회에게 얼마나 놀라운 공동체입니까?
[34:11] What a wonderful community is the church in this world. 교회는 하나님이 그리스도를 통해 이루신 복음의 열쇠를 가졌습니다. The church is the keys to the gospel that God had made through Jesus Christ.
[34:22] 우리는 이 열쇠를 가지고 이 지역에 죄를 사하는 권세를 사용해야 합니다. It is the only community that uses the power of forgiving the sin and the power of overcoming the death that we have to use this to build a church in this community.
[34:35] Trinity 교회가 이 우주의 권세를 가졌음을 아십니까? Do you know that the Trinity Grace Church has the power of the whole universe? 우리가 모인 작은 규모로 교회를 판단하지 마십시오.
[34:49] Don't judge this community just by the size of this meeting. 그리스도가 이 교회의 주인이시고 그리스도가 죄를 사하는 권세를 우리에게 주셨으며 그리스도가 우리에게 죽음을 이기는 권세를 주셨기에 그리스도가 우리에게 죽음을 이기는 권세를 주셨기에 여러분 교회 공동체는 이 지역의 복의 통로입니다.
[35:15] 이 교회의 교회는 이 교회의 교회에 대한 복음을 부끄러워하는 교회라는 책을 폈습니다 이 책은 미국 교회가 현재 세상의 시령주의와 세속화 정신에 휩쓸려 위기라고 합니다 미국 교회가 세상을 닮아서 기업처럼 마케팅 기법을 사용하고 소비자를 만족시키고 복음을 흐리고 있다고 합니다 오늘날 교회가 청중을 만족시키기 위해 십자가를 약화시키고 하나님의 진노와 천국을 설교하지 않는다고 해요 이런 현상을 교회가 복음을 부끄러워하고 있다 교회가 복음을 부끄러워할 수 있어요?
[36:31] 교회가 복음을 부끄러워해요? 본질을 잃어버린 위기의 시대입니다 이런 시대 속에 트리니티 교회가 복음을 매주 선포해 주셔서 감사합니다 여러분 교회가 십자가의 복음과 죄와 죽음의 권세를 이기는 능력의 복음을 선포해 주셔서 감사합니다 이 지역의 죄로 신음을 맞춰서 이기의 복음을 맞춰서 죽음의 두려움 속에 있는 사람들을 구원해 주시고 영원한 하나님의 가족으로 불러주십시오 한국교회를 위해서 기도를 부탁드립니다 한국교회도 복음을 이뤄가고 있습니다 교회의 본질을 잃은 위기입니다 150년 전에 선교사들이 한국에 들어와 순교의 피를 흘리며 교회를 세웠지만 교회가 빠르게 무너지고 있습니다 한국교회가 세상의 실형주의를 닮아 성공주의 우상에 빠졌습니다 십자가의 복음을 급하게 잃어버렸고 청중을 만족시키는 교회가 되었습니다 한국교회가 성장이 멈추었어요 우리 부모님 세대는 크리스찬이 20%였는데 저의 자녀 세대는 5%가 크리스찬입니다 세상에서 한국은 가장 빨리 교회가 성장했지만 가장 빨리 무너지고 있습니다 교회 안에 목회자들이 타락했고요 세상 사람들이 교회를 조롱하고 있습니다 교회 안에 있는 성도들도 실망하고 떠나는 위기의 시대입니다 한국교회를 위해서 기도해 주십시오 십자가의 복음을 선포할 수 있도록 기도해 주시고 그리스도께서 이루신 죽음의 건세와 죄를 사하는 건세를 회복할 수 있도록 기도해 주십시오 그리스도께서 이루신 죽음의 건세와 죄를 사하는 건세를 회복할 수 있도록 기도해 주십시오 그리스도의 영원을 회복하고 있습니다 오늘날 교회가 흔들거리고 있습니다만 교회의 주인이신 주님이 내가 내 교회를 세우리라고 약속하셨습니다 생각해 보십시오 교회는 2000년 전부터 흔들거렸습니다.
[40:02] 베드로는 주는 그리스도시여 살아계신 하나님의 아들이라 고백했지만 예수님이 십자가에 죽는다고 하니 그러지 말라고 흔들거렸습니다.
[40:17] 베드로와 예수님의 열두 제자는 예수님의 십자가 앞에서 도망가버렸어요. 피터와 12, 12의 교회는 이천의 십자가의 십자가의 십자가가 흔들거렸습니다.
[40:38] 그런데 누가 교회를 세우고 있습니까? 영원한 반석이신 그리스도가 교회를 세우고 있습니다.
[40:50] 하나님이 교회 아래 일하셔서 교회를 세우고 있지요. 성령이 놀랍게 역사하셔서 교회를 세우고 있습니다.
[41:04] 우리는 약하지만 주님이 교회를 일으키고 있습니다. 지난 10년 동안 우리 교회를 지켜보면 가장 많이 흔들거린 사람은 누구일까요?
[41:26] Do you know who has been shaken the most? It's me. 아무것도 할 수가 없었어요.
[41:36] I was not able to do anything. 여섯 번 이사할 때마다 어디로 가야 하나 흔들거렸어요. Whenever we moved six times, I was lost at, you know, where should we go?
[41:50] 내가 개척자로서 자격이 있는가 생각할 때마다 흔들거렸어요. I often questioned myself as a plant of church. I often questioned, do I deserve of planting a church?
[42:01] 다음 달 교회 재정은 어떻게 되나 고민하며 흔들거렸어요. I was often in doubt of the church finance for the next month. 교회 성도들이 불평할 때마다 잠을 자지 못하고 흔들거렸어요.
[42:13] Whenever a member of the church congregation complained, I couldn't sleep. 성도들의 가정에, 난 이제 그만 살래요, 라고 위기를 볼 때마다 흔들거렸고요. Whenever I saw the families in congregation had family crisis, that they want to stop their marriage, I was shaken.
[42:29] 자녀들이 가출하는 소식을 들으면 정말로 마음이 고통스러워 흔들거렸어요. Whenever I heard about their children going away from the family, I was shaken.
[42:40] 지금도 저 안에 지혜의 부족과 믿음없음 때문에 흔들거리고 있어요. I am also shaken these days that I feel like I'm lack of wisdom and I'm lack of faith.
[42:51] 나같이 휘청휘청하는 사람에게 이 교회를 맡겼다면 교회는 망가졌을 거예요. If God entrusted the church to men like me, then the church would have failed a long time ago.
[43:03] 그러나 그리스도가 일하시고 계시기 때문에 But because Jesus Christ is working, 하나님의 사랑이 교회를 들고 있기 때문에 The love of God is holding this church. 성령님이 우리 안에 역사하시기 때문에 The Holy Spirit is working inside me, inside us.
[43:17] 교회는 성장하고 자라고 있었어요. The church was growing. 트리뉴스 교회가 1년이 되셨는데 The Trinity Church is having this first anniversary. 여러분, 놀라운 주님의 교회입니다.
[43:29] This is an amazing church of God, church of the Lord. 이스크리스도가 생명의 피값을 주고 사신 보배로운 교회입니다. This church is a precious church that God has bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
[43:47] 여러분에게 죄를 사하는 건세의 열쇠를 주셨고 He gave you the keys to forgive the sins. 죽음을 정복할 수 있는 열쇠를 주셨고 He gave the keys to overcome the death.
[43:59] 하나님과 예수님과 성령님이 여러분의 인생을 붙들고 있으시며 Father God, Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ is holding your life. 그런데 여러분은 흔들거릴 거예요.
[44:11] But you are shaken. 흔들거리는 걸 계속 볼 거예요. You will see people are shaken. 우리는 죄인이기 때문에. Because we are sinners.
[44:22] 세상의 공격과 고난 때문에 고통스러울 것이고 You will suffer from the persecution and attack from the world. 결혼으로 인하여 흔들거릴 것이고 You will be shaken because of your relationship in your family.
[44:36] 자녀들의 성장 속에서 마음이 고통스러울 것이고 You will feel heart and heart when you see your children growing and suffering. 서로 의견이 달라서 서로 비난하고 힘든 시간을 보낼 수 있어요.
[44:49] You may have difficult times because of the conflicts in your community. 그런데 누가 이 교회 안에 일하신다고요? But I want you to believe it. I want you to remember that who is working in this church.
[45:02] 내가 내 교회를 세울 것이니. 내가 내 교회를 세울 것이니. I will build my church. 여러분은 영원한 반석 안에 있습니다. I want you to believe that you are on this everlasting strong rock.
[45:18] 사랑 안에 하나가 되셔서 이 지역에 하나님의 나라를 세워 주십시오. I want you to 사랑 안에 하나가 되셔서 I want you to be united in His love and please continue to build this church in this community.
[45:35] I want you to open the door to the kingdom of heaven. I want you to work on redeeming the people who are lost.
[45:47] I will continue to do that work in Korea. I want you to do that work. Let me pray. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for building the Lord's church here.
[46:08] I want you to thank you for giving this church the power of overcoming the sin and the death.
[46:20] We are weak. We are suffering from our lives. We put our hope in our Lord.
[46:35] Our hope is that the Holy Spirit will work in us. Lord, please find those who are lost in this world.
[46:50] Lord, please save them, redeem them through the confession of these righteous people. I pray that your gracious work be on these people.
[47:03] Lord, please fill this church with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name we pray.
