[0:00] knew they baptized because it took the place of circumcision. So he said, let me study that and see if it works. And he said, it doesn't work. He said, I know that's what they told me in Bible college. I know that's what my pastor told me, but when I say the Bible doesn't work. So he ended up being a Baptist. Go with me if you would to Daniel chapter 12 and verse one, there's a time coming that God is going to purify his people in Daniel chapter 12 and verse one. At that time, shall Michael stand up the great prince, which stands for the children of thy people, whose people, Daniel's people who are Daniel's people, Jews, Israel, Judah. And look what he says. And there shall be a time of trouble. Underline that. See, it's prophesied all through the Bible. And when you're reading the Bible, you got to realize these things go together. He said, even says the same phrase. He says, such as never was, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time. And at that time, thy people shall be delivered. Everyone that shall be found written in the book. God is not going to get rid of Israel, but they're going to go through something like we have never seen or imagined in our entire lifetime. Go with me if you would to Psalm chapter two and verse one. Now, let me say this to you. Gentiles don't escape. A tribulation period is primarily about

[1:33] Jews, but God's not going after Jews only. He's going after every pagan, every heathen, every godless person. Do you know what a godless person is? A person who's not saved, a person who's not born again. That's a godless person. That's a person who doesn't have God in their life. Look in Psalm two, one. Why do the heathen rage? Now for heathen there, you could just write down lost people.

[2:01] See, heathen are pagans. Pagans are people without God. Why do people that don't know Jesus rage against him? Why do they imagine vain things? Why does some puny human being on this planet shake his fist in the face of almighty God? Why would he do that? Why would he do that? Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth, the presidents of the earth, they set themselves, they take a stand and the rulers take counsel together. And notice what it says, against the Lord. Underline that. They're against God. Most political leaders in the world, if not all, are against the God of heaven. And I'll tell you who they're most against. Read the next part. And against his anointed. You need to align the word anointed. That's the same word Messiah.

[2:59] That's the same word Christ. That's another word for Jesus. They don't like Jesus. Fact is, if you want the truth, you could be a Buddhist and they're not going to persecute you in America. You could be a Muslim and they're not going to persecute you in America. But if you're a Christian, they're going to see what kind of rules they can make against you. These pagans in verse three say, let us break their bands asunder. And let's just get rid of all of God's stuff and all God's rules. So let's just say that genders don't matter anymore. Let's just say marriage has done the way we want to do it. Let's just say we don't need God. There's a group burning down part of our country right now. And that is their motto. You need to realize that there's a whole world in rebellion against the God of heaven.

[3:51] And God is going to punish them. Jeremiah chapter 25 and verse 30. If you'll go there with me, Jeremiah chapter 25 and verse 30. Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words and say unto them, the Lord shall roar, roar from on high, utter his voice from the holy habitation. He shall mightily roar upon his habitation. He shall give a shout as they that tread the grapes against two, against all the inhabitants of the earth. And noise shall come even to the ends of the earth. For the Lord has a controversy with the nations. Around nations put a circle and write Gentiles. That's you, buddy. If you're lost, now let me explain something to you. Hang around. If you come next week, we'll see this more.

[4:51] There are three groups of people on the planet. There are three groups of people. There's Jews, there's Gentiles, and there's a church of God. I will show you a Bible verse on that. Got to be around next week. There's Jews, Gentiles, and the church of God. I'm not a Gentile. I'm church of God.

[5:11] Baptist church of God. Say amen. Baptist church of God. I had to see one of you people going out and said, he's the church of God. Yes, I am, but I'm the Baptist church of God. He's mad at the nations.

[5:24] Why does he have a controversy with the nations? Because the nations say, we don't like you. We don't like your rules. It's been going on since Genesis chapter two and three, right in there. You remember what happened to chapter three? You remember what happens? The devil steps up and says, the devil steps up and says to Eve, yeah, well, God says that, but he really doesn't have your best interest in art. The tribulation will be over the entire earth and its population. Go with me to Isaiah chapter 24 and verse one. Isaiah chapter 24 and verse one. Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste. He turns it upside down and scatters abroad the inhabitants. The earth mourns and fades and languishes and fades away. And the haughty people of the earth do languish. You know who the haughty people are, don't you? They're the people that shake their fists in the face of God. You know who you are? You born again people. You're the humble people. The one guy goes in, raises his hand up and says, he says, hey God, you know, I'm not like anybody else. I'm a really good guy. You're lucky to have me.

[6:45] And the publican smites his chest and looks down and says, God be merciful. He was humble. These haughty people do languish. The haughty people do languish. And verse six, the curse devours the earth and they that dwell therein are desolate. God is going to punish the Gentiles, the nations. Who are the Gentiles in the nation? So we get it clear, all non-Jewish people. Now this church has had up to three Jewish people attending here. The rest of you, a bunch of Gentiles like me. By the way, black people are Gentiles. White people are Gentiles. Indians are Gentiles. Everybody's a Gentile. Everybody's a Gentile. I'm just, if you say, I'm not sure if I'm a Gentile. Well, then you are. If you don't know for sure, you are. And God's going to punish them for their arrogance, for their arrogance. I don't need to admit I'm a sinner. I don't need to admit that God is right. I don't need that Jesus down across from me. I am in good shape. God says, oh no, you're not. You don't make the rules. It's not your opinion.

[7:59] The human beings live in rebellion to God. We don't like God. We don't like what God's got to say. They're not us, but regular people. And they live in godlessness. The main purpose of the tribulation is to prepare Jews to receive the Messiah, but Gentiles will be punished. Now what's it going to be like this great tribulation, this time of Jacob's trouble, this horrible thing that no one's ever seen happen anywhere? First thing is it's going to terrify people. They're going to try to hide.

[8:35] Look at Isaiah chapter 2 and verse 19. The people shall go into the holes of the rocks, and they will go into the caves of the earth. Why? Because they're afraid of God.

[8:51] Look at it. Underline it in your Bible. For fear of the Lord and the glory of his majesty. You know what they spend their life doing. The smartest people on the planet deny God.

[9:06] Some guy in a wheelchair gets up and says, God doesn't exist. I'm super smart. Well, I'll be honest with you. The Bible says he's a fool. You say there's not a God. You're a fool.

[9:16] You're not smart. You're the opposite of smart. And all of a sudden, the God that doesn't exist shows up and starts showing his power and starts moving on the earth. And they're hiding. Verse 19, the last part, when he arises to shake terribly the earth. There's a time coming when God is going to come down and shake the earth. Shake it. And when that happens in verse 20, they're going to throw their idols away. And in verse 21, they're going to go into the clefts of the rocks. And for fear of the Lord, when he arises to shake terribly the earth. I think you know enough to know this. Why in the world does he say the same thing in 1921? Because he wants you to know he means it. There is a God and he has all power. You know what's going to happen? Biblically, most of the world's population will die. We have currently reached about 200,000 people that have died from COVID, they say.

[10:25] They say. Believe it or not, they say 200,000. I want you to imagine 330 million people in this country and 170, 165 million of them dead. Boom. I want you to imagine of 8 billion approximately on this earth. Over 4 billion dead. This is no coronavirus. That's no pandemic. That's the Lord terribly shaking the earth. They'll step forward during that time, a man called the Antichrist.

[11:07] We're going to get around a little bit more about him. He's going to step forward. He's going to ride a white horse because he wants to look like the real Messiah. He's a fake and he's a fraud like preachers that don't preach the Bible. And he'll ride out and say, I can solve all the earth's problems. I have all the answers. I have a vaccine. I have a way. I can bring peace. And he will try to bring peace on the earth. And he will set up a seven-year promise, but he'll be lying when he does it.

[11:36] And in that half of that time, he'll break his promise. There is coming a great day, a time of wrath and trouble and distress and desolation and darkness. It is God's period of wrath. Revelation chapter 6 verse 1 through chapter 19 and the end of the chapter is that Jacob's trouble. It's that time when all this terrible stuff is going to happen. And God is preparing to return and set up his kingdom. I have about four minutes. So I'm not going to show you the verses, but let me tell you what happens. Biblically, if you're a born again believer, the wrath of God's already been taken care of for you. Biblically, John 3 36 says, if you believe on him, you have life. And if you believe not, the wrath of God abides on you. So you might be here visiting tonight. You might be listening to everything that's going on. You're like, what in the world is all this crazy stuff they're talking about. Here's what it's talking about. You are not alone on this planet.

[12:42] There is a God in heaven who knows your heart and knows your thoughts, knows your sin. You've never done one thing he didn't know about. He knew about it when you were alone. He knew about it when you're in the deepest, darkest place you've ever been. He knew about it when you were totally alone. He knows what you're thinking. He knows all of us. And that sin that we have in our lives brings our death and eternal, forever punishment on us. But Jesus took that. Real quickly, would you take your Bibles and go with me to Romans chapter 5 and verse 6. Romans chapter 5 verse 6. You see, what's going to happen is, Jesus, if you're in Christ, if you're in Christ, you have incredible promises. But you're not in Christ by being in a church. You're not in Christ by being good. You're in Christ by realizing you're a sinner and trusted Jesus. So go with me to Romans chapter 5 and verse 6 and put it up on the screen so

[13:44] I don't mess up. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. If you got your Bible open, circle yet. Do you know when God died for you while you were still wicked and filthy and dirty and doing wrong? Yet, while we were yet without strength. And by the way, if you're not saved, you have no strength to save yourself. You have no way to pull yourself up out of it. You have no way to overcome the drag and the pull down of wicked sin in your life. You will die. But Jesus died for you.

[14:24] Do you know who he died for? Look at the verse. Ungodly people. Circle that. He didn't die for good people. He didn't die for people that are members of a Kiwana club or a Rotary club or some other social club. He didn't die for people that belong to a church. He died for the worst people possible.

[14:42] What a God. You didn't have any strength and you were ungodly and Jesus died for you. Look if you would quickly at Romans chapter 5 and verse 8. But God, but Jesus, God manifested, commended, showed his love toward us and that while we were still yet sinners, Christ died for us. Here's the truth.

[15:07] This tribulation period is God saying, you Jews rejected me and you Gentiles rejected me and time to pay has come. You Jews rejected me and you Gentiles rejected me. There are very likely people in this room who are listening to us by the internet. You know what? You've rejected God.

[15:26] You honestly think you're good enough on your own. You honestly look in the mirror and say, boy, God, if God got me, he'd be getting the best because I'm good. But God said, that's not who I save. I save ungodly, without strength, without strength, weak people, sinners. That's who I save.

[15:42] He died for them so they could be saved. He died for us. You know where I was when I got saved? I was without strength. You know where I was when I got saved? I was ungodly. You know where I was when I got saved? I was a sinner. And so was every other person in this room. God doesn't save good people.

[16:02] He saves wicked people. He makes bad people, sinners, ungodly people, without strength people, good people. But it's him doing the work. So if you're here and you haven't trusted Christ, there is coming a time, and if you believe the Bible at all, you'd know this. It could happen at any second. The trumpet will sound. All this is going to be over. Jesus is going to take all the born again people. We're out of here. And this time of Jacob's trouble will begin. This tribulation period will begin. You need to trust Christ now. Don't go home without trusting Jesus. That's my head for prayer.

[16:47] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[17:04] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[17:15] Amen. Amen.
