[0:00] This message was recorded at Vision Baptist Church in Alfred, Georgia. It is our prayer that you will be blessed by the preaching of God's Word. Thank you. I want to speak to each of us this evening on the concept of keep the joy.
[0:16] Every time that I have seen the Newtons, there's always been a smile, and underneath that smile is a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. And that joy, I know you've had your moments of testing as you've gone on your deputation, but joy gets to be sometimes difficult to maintain.
[0:38] When you're in the mission field and you're alone, sometimes joy gets to be difficult. But joy is a predetermined emotion.
[0:51] We are blessed in this world in which we live to have modern inventions, like the alarm clock, the microwave oven, thermostats, stoves and ovens, dishwashers, clothes washers, dryers, all that perform their functions for us by the push of a button, the turning of a dial, a touchpad.
[1:20] They are preset to do a function for us just based on the fact that they have a program inside of them to do their work when you touch the button.
[1:35] There is a side of us that likewise must have joy always predetermined. Always in our mindset is the fact that I will have joy.
[1:52] Brother Gardner, you remember back when we were at a pastor's school before we ever knew each other back in the latter 70s, perhaps early 80s, and a preacher named Lester Roloff was there.
[2:05] And Lester Roloff made a lot of fascinating statements, but one of them was probably to the ladies, but to all of us to understand, don't sing in the sunshine if you can't sing when the clothesline with fresh clothes falls in the mud.
[2:22] You've got to be able to sing no matter what happens. So my thoughts come from Philippians chapter 1, and Paul, we know this is a prison epistle.
[2:34] He is in Rome and he's in prison. He is in bondage. There is a side for Paul that this is a golden opportunity to preach the gospel to the people that are in Rome, but he has to do it with chains.
[2:50] He has to do it from a prison cell, and he knows that probably his life is going to be taken from him. And while he was there in the prison, he had some people that sought to persecute him to disrupt his life, his ministry, basically to disrupt his joy.
[3:15] And he said in Philippians 1 verse 15, Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife, and some also of goodwill. The one preached Christ of contention, Not sincerely supposing to add affliction to my bonds, but the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel.
[3:41] What then? Notwithstanding every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached, and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
[3:57] Paul chose the route of predetermined joy. I will rejoice no matter how the gospel is preached.
[4:08] Even if people are preaching it in my mind wrong, I'm not going to let them rob me of my joy, is what he is saying to us. He would be joyful, not in just the joyful circumstances, but joyful in unjoyful circumstances, and we can do the same.
[4:27] We must predetermine to have joy always. Paul had adversaries who tried to mimic his preaching with their own twist of contention, not sincerely supposing to add affliction to Paul's bonds.
[4:43] They were pretenders, the word pretense, they preached under pretense, pretenders. They envied his success in popularity. Verse 15, Some indeed preached Christ, even of envy.
[4:55] They were envious of him, not sincerely, but envious of his words, and of his popularity, and of his success. But they could not duplicate the message that he proclaimed.
[5:09] Their preaching turned adversarial. And again, you find the word strife. Some indeed preached Christ, verse 15, of envy and strife.
[5:23] Many moons before, Paul learned that joy is possible in everything. No matter what, you must decide to be joyful.
[5:37] Nothing can rob you of your joy unless you allow it to do so. With spiritual maturity comes a predisposition to accepting whatever God allows.
[5:52] 2 Corinthians 12, verse 9, Paul was tested with his thorns in the flesh, and he learned, he said, Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities.
[6:04] I will not allow my infirmities to hold me back, to take away my joy. In verse 10, he said, Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses.
[6:20] In Philippians 4, chapter 4, verse 11, he said, I have learned in whatsoever state I am to be content. So he talks about this thing of learning.
[6:33] He talks about this thing of a predisposition in his mind. And lastly, in Philippians 4, 4, he speaks to the Philippian people and to us with the command, Rejoice in the Lord always.
[6:49] And again, I say rejoice. The command to rejoice carries with it a predisposition, a predetermination, a preparation to rejoice.
[7:04] Nothing ought to rob us of our joy. Nothing. And Paul wouldn't let it. Even if people preached the message of Christ but did it with a wrong attitude, he said, I'm not going to let you rob me of my joy.
[7:22] I'm not going to let you rob me of my joy. And that's for all of us, folks. That's for you. That's for me. That's for the Newtons. That's for all of us.
[7:33] Nothing ought to rob us of our joy. Keep the joy. Rejoice in the Lord always. If you would, turn your Bibles to Joshua chapter 1.
[7:45] It was about three years ago that I was in Peru doing my internship with my wife and I got the privilege to meet a missionary by the name of Rudy Johnson. If you ever spent time in Brother Gardner's Friday class, you might have heard of the man named Rudy Johnson.
[7:59] He was a missionary to Peru during the time that Brother Gardner was there. He was actually there a little bit before that and he had a pretty successful church. I think Brother Gardner said he had one of the largest churches in Peru, over a thousand people.
[8:10] So anyways, he was speaking. I got a chance to talk to him and I asked him a question. I said, Brother Johnson, what is the, what can you tell me to a guy that's just starting out in the ministry?
[8:21] What's one thing you can give me? And he gave me this verse, Joshua 1.8, and he said this. He said, this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night and thou shalt make us observe to do all, or to do according to all that is written therein.
[8:36] For then thou shalt make thy way prosper and then thou shalt have good success. And he says, you get in the book. You get in the word. You get in the word. At that time, I didn't really understand what he was saying.
[8:48] I was like, yeah, I already know that. But, I don't know about you, but I really want our missionaries to be successful. I want our church families to be successful. I want our staff to be successful. I want Vision Baptist to be successful.
[9:00] And the only way for true biblical success is this book right here. It's getting in the word. And Scott, if I could just tell you a couple things. I just want to go to Joshua chapter 1, verses 8. I just want to let you know that before this, before we get to this verse, God is talking to Joshua and he says, Joshua, my servant Moses is dead and now I want you to be my servant.
[9:21] And no one is going to be able to stand against you. No one is going to be able to do anything. I will take care of you. I will fight for you. You will have victory. This is before anything happened with Joshua. This is before he took over leadership.
[9:32] This is before he went into Canaan. And Scott, you're on the edge. You're getting ready to go into Spain. You're ready to have victory to victory and you're ready to start a church. But before God lays out a game plan of how he's going to do it, he tells him, he gives him something to do and he says this.
[9:47] He says, this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night. First thing I want you to know, God, I find it interesting that when God calls Joshua to be his servant, one of the first things he tells Joshua to do is to meditate in this law.
[10:06] He told him not only what to do, but he told him when to do it. He says meditate therein day and night. There's a constant state of being focused on the word. It's saturating your life and your mind.
[10:18] This is the only way that you're going to be transformed. This is the only way that you're going to not be conformed to this world is by constantly saturating your mind with the word. But can I remind you, that's the same thing that Paul tells the church at Colossae.
[10:30] He says, let the words of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. This is what, Scott, this is in the church, this is not just Scott, this is the church also. We should so let God's word be a part of it that it pours out of it.
[10:42] That's what meditation is. It's constantly repeating. It's not sitting in some corner with your legs crossed humming and thinking about it, but it's speaking it over and over again. That's what it says. That's what Peter says when he says, let him that speaks, speak as the oracles of God.
[10:56] That's what biblical meditation is. I want to remind you that when Paul told Timothy, what did he tell him? He says, give attendance unto the reading of the word. It was the job of the apostles. That's why they, that's why they got deacons and that's why they got servants so they could stay in the ministry, give it, be given to the ministry of the word.
[11:15] Scott, don't forget the word. Meditate on it. Meditate on it. But it was never just for a meditation, but it was also for observing to do it. God just didn't give us to get a knowledge or a head full of the Bible, but he wants us to observe to do it.
[11:30] It wasn't enough for Joshua just to know the law, but it was his obligation to do it. Christians, you guys know this, James chapter 1, verses 22. Don't be hearers of the words without doers.
[11:46] You must deceive your own self. We ought to be doers of the word. That's what it means to be spirit-filled, to know the word, to do it, to obey it. And when you obey the words of the Lord, can I remind you, you'll be like that wise man who built his house upon the rock.
[12:00] He not only heard it, but he did it. And then after that, that's when true success comes from. True success comes from knowing and doing God's word. True success comes, he says in John chapter 13, verse 14, he says, if you know these things, happy are ye that do them.
[12:18] It's God's word that makes the man of God thoroughly furnished into all good works. Psalms chapter 1, verses, I believe it's 2 or 3, he says, when we delight in God's word that we shall be like a tree that is planted by the river water.
[12:35] That bringeth forth his fruit and in his season his leaf shall not weather and whatsoever he doeth he shall prosper. Scott, you're going to go over to Spain here in 2 or 3 weeks.
[12:47] And what's going to help you be a good dad? What's going to help you be a good pastor? What's going to help you train men? It's this word. I think so many times we forget in our lives, I know if you want to be successful, you always say, I've got to get the newest thing, I've got to get the newest book, I've got to read up on the newest book, read about the guy that's had the most success, but you know what success comes from?
[13:08] It's his word. Meditating on it day and night. Man, I was incredibly challenged when Scott Tool came. I asked him some questions about the church. I asked him some questions, how do you deal when people from outside the church, they ask money for the church and he says, well, before Jesus fed the 5,000, he preached the word to them, so we don't give money to anybody that's not in our ministry, that's not being fed, and I was like, it might be taken out of context, but every question I asked that guy was just pouring out Bible, pouring out Bible, pouring out Bible, and man, I thought, man, I want to be like that.
[13:45] Man, I want to be like that. I want, I want, I want, when someone asks me, they say, man, he knows his word, his word, his word, because I remind you, he gave his word to heal his people and deliver them from destruction.
[13:58] Scott, don't ever forget what you have right here. Right here in your hand is something more precious than anything you've ever been taught. Anything that you can read in a book, it is God's word. When you, when you meditate on it and you observe to do it, then you'll be successful.
[14:11] Then you'll be successful. And I want you to be successful. We love you. I invite you to open your Bibles to the book of 2 Corinthians in chapter number 4. 2 Corinthians in chapter number 4.
[14:24] Seems like this day has come by really fast, Scott. There was a time we were talking about it and you're saying, yeah, I'm getting ready. I'll be going. But boy, has the day creeped up on us quickly, right? And before too long, you'll be there.
[14:37] Before too long, you'll be in language school. Before too long, and time will just go right, right, real quick. The kids will be growing up. Take advantage of this time just as well as Brother Frick said. Be joyous and enjoy this time because it's going to go by quick.
[14:50] 2 Corinthians chapter number 4. Paul, of course, he's talking to the church of Corinth, right? But he speaks in plural. He's with a group. He's with Timothy and he's with Silvanus. He's with some other people. So look what it says.
[15:01] 2 Corinthians 4 verse number 5. He says, We preach not ourselves. We, that Timothy and the others that are with me, he says, We preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord. And then look at the last part.
[15:12] It says, In ourselves, your servants, for Jesus' sake. Paul, he says that we, at the end of this, we're really servants. That's really what we are.
[15:22] And as we go through the Word of God, there's a lot of men that we can grab a hold of. There's a lot of people we can grab a hold of that we see in Moses was a servant of God and David and Joshua and Paul and you go all the way through there and Jude and John and Peter and they were all servants and many times when they started a letter they said, Paul, servant of Jesus Christ and God has used you and now you're getting ready to head for the field and change maybe positions but just remember always you're a servant.
[15:51] Not just a missionary, not just a preacher, maybe not just a position God has given you but we as Christians we're servants. There's some certain specific characteristics about a servant.
[16:01] One would be pretty simple, it's pretty obvious but a servant serves. And although we might say of course, you know, you don't have to be a genius to think about that, a servant serves. But as we walk through the word of God we see in John chapter number 13 that Jesus Christ he laid everything beside and he put up that towel and he put it on him and he grabbed that bowl of water and then he began to wash the feet and he just began to serve.
[16:22] In Philippians chapter number 2 and verse number 7 he said that he came in the form of a servant. Then we see over in Galatians chapter number 5 verse number 13 that he commands us he said that we are to serve one another.
[16:35] So we're servants and as servants we're commanded we're to serve. But not only is a servant commanded to serve not only are you commanded to serve but a servant also does it for a reason. A servant does it for him.
[16:47] There's going to be times when you get over there that people are going to frustrate you. They're going to take advantage of you. They're going to criticize you. They're going to mistreat you. Man, you're going to get mad.
[16:58] If I was your size I would get a lot more mad then I do get mad. You know, I wish I get real mad, Scott but you know what I'm just in a little bitty package. Praise the Lord dynamite comes in those little packages. Praise the Lord amen for us little guys.
[17:09] But anyway, you know what I mean I would get really mad and sometimes man you want to go out and slap a couple faces around. But don't forget what you're there for. You're a servant.
[17:20] Servants serve and they do it because not because the church sent you and not because somebody told you because God sent you there. You're a servant. And don't forget that.
[17:31] Not only does a servant serve because that's what he's supposed to do and not does he only serve because God sent him there to serve but a servant can't take the credit. There'll be moments in your life as there's moments in all of our lives that we'll want to take the credit.
[17:46] In fact, you'll say look at what I did and man look at me and I'm finally arriving and things are finally going well and I got the language and boy things are going but don't forget you can't take the credit.
[17:57] You might even want to say look at us man we are sacrificing we're going over here and man we've left everything behind but you know the honest truth is you can't take the credit. Someone said amazing things can happen when we're not worried who takes the credit.
[18:12] And when we throw all the credit to God really amazing things can happen. There's a parable in Luke chapter number 19 and as Jesus Christ begins to share this parable he says imagine that a servant comes and he begins to serve the table and he gives you the food and he gives you the drink and he wipes it up and he does everything and at the end of the day I'm sure you're going to say hey thanks for everything you do.
[18:30] In Luke chapter number 19 verse number 9 chapter number 17 verse number 9 excuse me the Bible says doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him?
[18:41] And he says I trow not. He says no way man. I mean he's a servant. That's what he's supposed to do. No way am I going to say hey thanks buddy. I mean he's just doing what he's supposed to do. But then look verse number 10 and he says so likewise ye so the Lord flips it around and says y'all remember you're servants right?
[18:58] I told you to serve one another right? And I told you I showed you my example right? You say okay I understand. And he says so likewise ye when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you say we are unprofitable servants we have done that which was our duty to do.
[19:16] As you arrive over there Scott it's going to be some wonderful times some hard times some frustrating times but remember servants a lot of times as they work for their master whether it's an employee employer and he has to do it or whether it would be servant like a slave as in this time a servant has to do it but a lot of times when a servant would go out there he would maybe till up the garden or he would maybe work in the house and he would paint or maybe he would get his hands dirty by cooking or by cleaning or whatever it is but a servant gets awful dirty because he's serving.
[19:47] When you get over there you're going to get dirty. People are going to maybe say things and you're going to think man I didn't think I thought it was going to be all pretty and wonderful and all of a sudden your hands are going to get all dirty and you're going to have to deal with problems and deal with people and all of a sudden everything just that honeymoon time goes away and now you're learning the language and Melissa is saying I said it that way for crying out loud and you're saying no you've got to say it again puedo and I said it like that Scott and you're all going to get mad over the language and you're going to get mad because these people don't understand me this is ridiculous look at the food they're giving me man things are going to set it you're going to get really mad your hands are going to get really dirty but just remember as you go over there Scott you're a servant the wonderful thing is our master he's a loving master we serve a great master but just remember it's not just our duty but it's our privilege a servant serves because that's what he's supposed to do and a servant serves for his lord but a servant can't take credit because that's what he's supposed to do remember that hard times will abound they will come you'll get on that boat the kids will cry and you'll say shut up give them Benadryl for crying out loud but you know what you're doing this because God sent you to do this you are a servant we are servants that's our calling don't forget it you take your bibles if you want to go to Ezekiel 2 and I know it's time to quit but everybody else has preached all night so I'm going to take about 6 or 7 minutes of your time and then we'll have prayer for them the verse that I chose when we started the Peru Bible College we started the Peru Bible College
[21:15] I needed a verse or I wanted a verse it would kind of sum up our ministry there and I chose the verse that I'm about to read to you Ezekiel chapter 2 and verse 5 I sat down with some Peruvian pastors and I asked them what they thought of it and it became our motto it became our saying for our school in verse 5 Ezekiel 2 5 it says and they whether they will hear or whether they will forbear for they are a rebellious house yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them and I told them I said you know I want to build a Bible College I want to train you to be a man of God we may not see great results we may not see a lot of people saved we may not see God turn Peru upside down but we can go preach and stand and they will know there's been a man of God among them and so I would like to talk to you Scott and to the church a little bit they will know that a man of God was among them the story is about Ezekiel being a man of God sent to preach to Israel and to preach against their rebellion
[22:19] God said I'm sending you to do an extremely hard job because they are a very rebellious people that do not want to obey God these were great words of encouragement because God told Ezekiel he said Ezekiel's going to be tough buddy I'll just tell you now they're not going to listen to you I'll just tell you now that they're extremely hard I'll just tell you now that they're rebellious people but they're not rebelling against you they're rebelling against me and even though the chapter talks about Israel and Ezekiel and I will tell you all about their story real quick as we go through it I believe we can apply this Scott and Melissa will be landing in a hard country they'll be landing in a country that hasn't seen revival in a country of people that don't necessarily feel like they need God in a country that has prospered in a world conquering country you know their people their people came to America their people discovered much of America the Spanish people did their people conquered I mean the whole of America except for Brazil and what
[23:21] Brazil the United States and Canada just about everybody else speaks Spanish that was a powerful country and so they're going to where it's hard so I prayed and asked God what I could say to you Scott that would be a blessing to you and this is a passage of scripture and I'd like to just go through several of the verses I would have read them but for time I'm just going to mention them number one Ezekiel would go forward knowing God was sending him the Bible says in Ezekiel 2 3 son of man I send thee I send thee Ezekiel would have never chosen such a hard task the people weren't rebelling against Ezekiel but against God Ezekiel would go knowing it was God sending him I challenge you to rest in the same knowledge as the hard days come in your life and in your ministry as you've yielded your life and presented yourself to him and feel directed to the people of Spain God has yet to do really great things there but you can go believing that he sends you and that he'll accomplish his purposes I'd just like to say from personal testimony
[24:22] I knew God was going to do something in Peru when I got there not because of who I was but because of who he is and I knew that he wouldn't send me there if he wasn't wanting to do something I worked for him if he wants to send me there he must be going to do something I would rest in this he sent Ezekiel knowing he was going to do something the second thing Ezekiel Ezekiel was not to concerning himself with their response but with his obedience look if you would in Ezekiel chapter two and verse five I am not so worried about how they're going to respond I'm worried about doing what's right it says and they and they whether they hear or whether they don't hear because they're rebellious they'll know there's been a prophet among them whether they hear or whether they don't because they're rebellious that's not my problem or that's not your problem whether they hear whether they don't I want to know there's been a man of God there I want to know there's a prophet among them Ezekiel would go telling them what God said he didn't have his own agenda and he didn't have his own message Ezekiel chapter three and verse four says for they are an impudent children and stiff-hearted
[25:26] I do send thee unto them and thou shalt say unto them thus saith the Lord God your message is God says this God says this Ezekiel was to preach the truth no matter how they responded look at verse seven and thou shalt speak my words of them and whether they hear whether they forbear they are most rebellious you just preach my word that's your responsibility look at verse six Ezekiel was not to let their words or their looks hinder him and the ministry verse six three six and thou son of man be not afraid of them neither be afraid of their words though briars and thorns be with thee thou dost dwell amongst scorpions be not afraid of their words nor be dismayed at their looks their rebellious house uh Paul Ezekiel you got God says to Ezekiel Ezekiel you go preach I don't care how haughty they look or how proud they look or how they don't want to hear or however you just go preach and you don't be afraid of that as you go I challenge you to keep your priorities right you are not going for there for results though we want results you're going there because you love Jesus and you want to see him honored and glorified you're going there to tell them the truth don't let them scare you I'm not have any idea how your personality works but I can promise you this I was so excited to get to prove but nobody's ever been as afraid as I was when
[26:54] I walked down the steps in the off the jet into the city of Ariequipa and having to have a face on it told Betty I was not afraid I was terrified I wondered if God would do anything I knew I was in the city they call the Rome of South America I was afraid but you do not allow the history of Europe to dictate the future of your ministry you cannot make them believe but you can make yourself work like they're going to believe go trusting Jesus you can't make them love Jesus but you can present a lovely Jesus you can't change lives but you can show them a changed life your goal is that they know beyond a shadow of a doubt there's a man of God moved into Barcelona that's what we want them to know that means you'll work like a crazy man witnessing teaching preaching praying and believing the third thing verse 8 Ezekiel was to make sure he didn't rebel like Israel was rebelling it's amazing he says I'm sending you to a rebellious people and it's not your responsibility he said but you be careful and don't rebel look at verse 8 3 8 but thou son of man hear what I say and don't you be rebellious like that rebellious house don't you be rebellious like them open your mouth and eat what I give you their rebellion can be contagious my fear for you is that you will allow missionaries and Spaniards to be contagious to affect you their lack of interest in God and spiritual things can cause you to grow lazy and cold to feel like it isn't worth it so here's what he told Ezekiel I was supposed to be telling you for chapter 2 chapter 3 now chapter 3 verse 1 look at this he said take this roll and which is a book and eat it he said unto him son of man eat that thou findest eat this roll and go speak that's a scroll eat this scroll and go speak unto the house of Israel so basically he said start eating eat this book after he ate the book he was supposed to go talk to the people he wasn't going to tell them about
[29:00] America he wasn't going to give them his opinions he wasn't going to try to fix them he was telling them what had filled him up he's going to tell them about what had filled him up he just got through eating the book the roll he ate was as sweet as honey to him 3 3 and he said unto him me son of man cause thy belly to eat and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee then did I eat it and it was in my mouth as as as honey for sweetness I hope you get more and more into the Bible and more of the Bible into you hope you find it as sweet as I do I hope you consume it I hope you eat it until it fills up every part of your body I hope you eat it until it transforms you the way you think the way you walk talk and act I hope you realize it is what sweet to you will not necessarily be sweet to them but that doesn't change the truth it's sweet you took you preach it Ezekiel was to go and speak God's words to them look at 3 4 he said unto him son of man go get thee unto the house of Israel and speak with my words unto them this is my challenge to you tonight you don't need fancy methods or tricks to do the job you just need his power and his word you don't have to try to figure out how to crack the culture change them but let God's word like a hammer break the rocks in pieces if you take this book and faithfully preach it preach it on the street corners preach it in their houses preach it preach it up and down the street preach it in the church building preach it preach it preach it this word with God's power will break things break them I just like to say a few things to you personally and I know you've already seen it I sent this out but I believe in you I've watched you grow and mature and I know you love Jesus and his word and I know you can and will be greatly used to God I believe in you
[30:55] I've tried to show you that since the day you arrived here tried to love you and tried to say that to you stay in the battle every day it gets tiring it's not as exciting as we make it sound like everybody here probably thinks in our church when you land on the field it's like the revival every day when the truth is it's more like being here it's probably not as nice as being a vision don't let life get you sidetracked love your wife and children and lead them for the Lord they need to know that there's a man of God among them they need the people of Spain will see that in your family when they see a man of God lead a home don't compare yourself to others problem with our team and a problem I think you've dealt with is you want to compare yourself to other missionaries and see how you're doing compared to them but you don't need to look better than or worse than or compare yourself to them comparing ourselves among ourselves we are not wise preach the book preach the book God gives you a thousand souls praise God if he gives you one praise God preach the book don't accept what you've seen done in Europe
[32:01] God is still doing big things and you must believe that though the giants are big God's bigger and I would just like to say to you I know what people discourage me so bad that's gonna be a mystery I remember a mystery that came to our church and he told me I told him I thought I was gonna be a mystery and he said don't do it he was a mystery to Spain and he said to me he said if you become a missionary you will become a chauffeur driving other guys around to preach and there'll be nobody coming to church and you'll never get past the first five or six messages because all you'll always be doing is teach and I said that's not the way it's gonna happen with me he told me I would never learn the language he told me I would never be able to preach I said I would not be able to take that I just want you to know you can believe God if I were you and I were on that plane a boat and I wish I was not on the boat I wish I was there if I could go to Spain tonight I tell you this I would believe God I would step out there saying I believe God's gonna do something I would I would knock on every door believing God was gonna do something I would hand out every gospel track when I lay a gospel track down on a table or anywhere else I lay it down I always think I never know what God's gonna do with that not my responsibility what he does with my responsibility to honor him go believing God go preach
[33:16] Jesus to him let them know that God has sent his man to live among them know that God wouldn't send his man unless he was gonna do something great I really believe that God does not just haphazardly move us around I do not believe that God plays with us I believe that if God has burdened your heart to go to Spain God wants to reap a harvest for his honor for his glory among the hard people where it hasn't been done and it can't be done but God can do it I want you know I believe in you and God can do that in and through you this message was recorded at Vision Baptist Church in Alfredo Georgia for more information log on to www.visionbaptist.com where you can find our service times location contact information and more audio and video recordings
