[0:00] This message was recorded at Vision Baptist Church in Alfreda, Georgia. This is the next message in our series in the book of 2 Corinthians, entitled, We Faint Not.

[0:14] If you would, take your Bibles and turn with me to Hebrews chapter 12. Hebrews chapter 12, and we'll start in verse 15. We'll start in verse 15.

[0:26] The Bible says in Hebrews 12, 15, Looking diligently, lest any man fail of the grace of God. Lest any root of bitterness spring up and trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

[0:41] Lest there be any fornicator or profane person as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterwards, when he would have inherited the blessings, he was rejected.

[0:54] For he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Let's pray real quick. Heavenly Father, as we come to you in prayer, thank you for the opportunity, Lord, that I get to speak your word. I ask that you would just use me, a servant, a vessel, unworthy, Lord God.

[1:08] But I ask you to just let this truth ring out in our hearts and our minds and throughout this week and throughout the rest of our lives, Lord God. Help us not to be profane people like Esau. Lord God, I ask that you just do a work in us.

[1:18] Thank you for who you made us, who we are in you. Thank you for making us ambassadors. Lord God, help us just to work tiresomely this week. And Lord God, we'll give you all the praise and all the glory. For it's in your son's name.

[1:30] Amen. Amen. I'd like to preach on tonight or talk to you tonight about two words out of verse 16. The profane person. Does anybody know what a profane person is?

[1:43] When I think of profane, this person right here, I think of Christmas time. And I don't know how many people has ever played the white elephant. I think they call it the white elephant. Is that the game where you buy gifts that you don't really want and you try to exchange it for other people?

[1:57] Has anyone ever played the white elephant game and they realized that one of the gifts that was being swapped around was a gift that you actually gave as a real gift to someone? Has that ever happened to someone? I mean, like, I gave that to you last year and you're using it in this.

[2:10] Why would you do that? You ever thought about that? Like, I gave you something special to me. Now you're using it as a joke? I mean, I guess that's never happened to anyone. I guess I'm the only person here. I'm a bad gifter. Okay, sorry, babe.

[2:21] Sorry you got stuck with me. But that's what we see here in this passage. A profane person. And the Bible uses Esau's life to illustrate, to give an illustration of what a profane person is.

[2:34] And if I could, I'd like to tell you the story. Because it goes a little bit in it. And I want you guys to understand. I know you guys, I know everyone here is, I mean, they're Bible scholars and above and you guys know all this story. But I just want to, I want us to get some background before we get into the story.

[2:47] Okay, just so we get our minds around this real quick. Okay, Brother Joe? In Genesis chapter 1, God creates the world. It's pretty simple, right? Takes seven or six literal days.

[2:57] He creates the earth. He creates the seas. He creates the skies, the firmament. He creates all the beasts, all the trees, all the fish, all the, did I say birds? I said birds.

[3:08] Yeah, all the creeping things. Everything. He created that in six literal days and he created man. In Genesis chapter 2, he puts man inside this garden where he made him an overkeeper, an overseer.

[3:20] And he would keep that garden. And as he saw that man there by himself, he realized the man was alone. And he said, man, why don't you go look for a mate? And so he named all the animals. He didn't find anybody. And so God put him to sleep.

[3:32] And you know the story. When, I was going to say Abraham. When Adam was asleep, God took that rib out of his side and he created woman. And in Genesis chapter 3, we realize what happens, right?

[3:44] That one day, Eve was out there. The serpent, Satan, came up there and he tricked her. He tricked her into thinking that if she ate that tree, that God was withholding something. That she could have something so much more.

[3:56] And what entered into the world when Adam and Eve ate that tree? What entered into the world? Sin. And so here we have this huge problem with mankind. Sin entered into the world, right?

[4:07] Death passed upon all men for all have sinned. And so what happens is, in Genesis chapter 3, verses 15, God gives a promise. He gives a promise to Eve.

[4:18] He gives a promise to Adam saying, Eve, one day I'm going to give you your seed. And your seed is going to crush the head and bruise his heel of the serpent. And so as you go through the Old Testament, you see this. Everything after Genesis chapter 3, verse 15 is fruition.

[4:31] His fruition is fulfilling that promise right there. That God will send that promise, that seed, that sin. He's going to come and he's going to destroy sin. He's going to take the sin's punishment. And he's going to make man right again with God.

[4:44] We'll have that ability to get right with God. And in Genesis chapter 4, you know the story of Cain and Abel. In Genesis chapter 5, we have a list of genealogy. In Genesis chapter 6, what happens in Genesis chapter 6?

[4:56] A man messes up again, right? God comes down and he looks down and he has grace. He finds, Noah finds favor in the eyes of the Lord. And Noah gets grace. And Noah was given 120 years where he's allowed to preach and beg and try to persuade people to come into the ark and be saved.

[5:14] But just him and his three sons were allowed in there. And their wives. And so we see that God was protecting man. God was trying to make a way of salvation for man. And shortly after that, we get to another story.

[5:25] The story that the Jews knew very well. Especially the Hebrews. Because that's the book that we're in right now. The story of Abraham. And in Hebrews chapter, not Hebrews, but in Genesis chapter 11, there was a man and a father that were leaving their town of Ur.

[5:42] And actually their nephew, I'm sorry. The man, father, and nephew. And they were leaving Ur. And they came to a place. And his father died. And out of nowhere, God again came to man. And in Genesis chapter 12, verses 1 through 3, God gives a promise.

[5:58] God gives a promise to Abraham. First of all, he promises that Abraham would be a great nation. At that time, Abraham, I just want to remind you, Abraham was 75 years old.

[6:12] Did you get that? 75 years old. And he didn't have a son. And God says, Abraham, I'm going to, you are going to create a great nation. Something that dumbfound us.

[6:23] He said he was going to bless Abraham. Bless those that blessed them and curse those that cursed them. And not only was he going to bless them, he was going to be a blessing.

[6:35] Abraham was going to be a blessing somehow to all the families of the earth. All the families of the earth were going to be blessed by Abraham. And so, as you go on from Genesis, we see that Abraham goes to Egypt.

[6:48] And he gets messed up down there. And his wife's in trouble. And God takes care of him once again. Somehow, Abraham comes out smelling like a rose. We see another time when Abraham's nephew, remember Lot?

[7:01] And he was in Sodom and Gomorrah. And he was staying out there. And how he was messed up with the world. And five kings came. And they stole Lot away. And all of his nephew's belongings.

[7:12] And Abraham went out there with 300 servants. And God was with him once again. And God took care of Abraham. And Abraham was able to recover all the stuff. Shortly after that, Abraham was 100 years old.

[7:26] And something miraculous. His wife was, I believe, 90 years old. And God gave Abraham a son. God took care of him. Time in and time out.

[7:37] Time in and time out. God was there. And then after Isaac happened. After Isaac happened, Isaac was older. And he started growing up. And he was 20. And he didn't have a wife.

[7:47] He was 30. He didn't have a wife. And Jason, he was 40 years old. And he still didn't have a wife. And God gave Isaac a wife. There's hope for you, Jason. There's hope for you.

[7:59] But time and time again. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. But I apologize, Jason. But time and time again, God washed over his people. You see what I'm saying? And here you have Isaac.

[8:10] And Isaac, if you would, take your Bibles and turn with me real quick to Genesis chapter 25. We're going to start this story. We've got enough of the background. And we'll start in verse 21. And the Bible says, And Isaac entreated the Lord for his wife because she was barren.

[8:28] She didn't have any kids. Isaac begged God. He talked to God. He said, God, we need some children. And she was barren. And the Lord entreated of him. And Rebecca, his wife, conceived. And the children struggled together within her.

[8:42] And she said, if it be so, why am I thus? And then she went to inquire of the Lord. And the Lord said to her, two nations are in thy womb. And two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels.

[8:55] And the one shall be stronger than the other. And the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days were to be delivered were fulfilled. Behold, there were twins. In verse 25 it says, And the first came out red all over.

[9:08] Hairy like a garment. And they called his name Esau. That was the first son. And after that came out his brother. And his hand took hold of Esau's heel. And his name was called Jacob.

[9:21] And Isaac was 60 years old. When she bore them or bare them. And the boys grew. And Esau was a cunning hunter. A man of the field. And Jacob was a plain man dwelling in tents.

[9:33] Just before we go on and hear the rest of the story. I want you guys to think about this. Here you got two sons, okay? They have their son. They have their father Isaac. A child.

[9:44] The promise that God gave Abraham. Isaac. The son that was. When he was born his dad was 100 years old. The son that when his dad sat down.

[9:56] And he talked to him. How he was in the land of Ur. And how he was worshipping false gods. And how they didn't know anything else. That God came to him. These guys heard all the stories. From the beginning of time.

[10:06] To what God has done in their lives. And what God did in their dad's life. And what God did in their grandfather's life. And what God did with Noah. And what God did with Adam. And they were in this environment.

[10:18] Where they got to hear all these different stories. Of how good God was. And they knew something. During their culture. In their culture. In that time. That whenever the firstborn was born.

[10:31] He was. Can I say. The spiritual leader of that family. He got the blessings. He got the promise. Put on him. Does that make sense? That promise.

[10:43] That the seed would come. Remember back when Adam. In verse 3. Verse 15. That the fruition. It's going through all the Old Testament. That promise. That the seed. That promise would come. That he would get that promise.

[10:55] That he would be the child of the promise. He would be able to take on. And take the next step. And he could see God do great things through him. But the story just doesn't stop there. Listen to what happens in the story.

[11:06] And just remember back in Hebrews. Don't be a profane person. Listen. We're going to find out what profane is. In verse 28. The Bible says. And Isaac loved Esau. Because he did eat of his venison.

[11:19] But Rebecca loved Jacob. And Jacob saw a pottage. And Esau came out from the field. And he was faint. And Esau said to Jacob. Feed me I pray thee.

[11:30] With some of that red pottage. For I am faint. Therefore his name was called Edom. And Jacob said unto his brother.

[11:41] He said this. He said. Sell me this day thy birthright. Do you hear what Jacob just asked of his brother? He said. Give me that ability to get the promise. That's rightfully given to you.

[11:53] I want that. Sell that to me today. Sell that to me today. And Esau said this. Behold. I am at the point to die. And what profit. Shall this birthright be to me.

[12:03] Do to me. What's it going to do? I'm about ready to die. Right here. I'm faint. I'm starving. I was out there in the field. I was out hunting. I didn't find anything. Obviously.

[12:14] I was a pretty bad hunter. I was picking. But anyways. I wasn't able to get something to eat. Just feed me right now. Or else I'm going to die. What good is this birthright going to be to a dead man? And Jacob said.

[12:24] Swear to me. This day. And he's swearing to him. And he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and a pottage of lentils.

[12:36] And he did eat and drink and rose up and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. Did you see what happened here in the story? Esau went out hunting.

[12:48] Didn't get anything. Came back in. And smelled what was going on in the tent. His brother was making some beans. Literally. Pottage of lentils. That's what it says in the last part. And he sold his birthright. His God given right.

[13:00] The right to be the next in line. The right to take that promise of being a blessing to all people. To have that promise to be blessed by all people.

[13:11] To be promised that those who curse you. I'm going to curse them. And those who bless you. I'm going to bless them. That promise to be a great nation. And he sold it for a bowl of beans. Sold it for a bowl of beans.

[13:23] You look at that and you say. How in the world could someone be so stupid? Literally. How could you be so stupid? Well hindsight is pretty 20-20.

[13:35] Hindsight is 20-20 isn't it? Esau didn't choose. I want you guys to remember this. Esau didn't choose when he was born. You realize that? You don't have an option to choose when you were born.

[13:49] God did. God chose when Esau was born. Esau didn't set up the system where the firstborn got the inheritance. He didn't set up that system. That was something that was set up before him. Esau was gifted by God.

[14:02] God gave him a gift. And he sold it away for the temporal. Esau. You see what I'm saying here? Esau was gifted by God. Just like when I give that gift out on Christmas.

[14:14] And I think man this is a really good gift. And they don't see it's worth. They don't see it's worth. They think that this temporal life.

[14:25] They think that this momentary satisfaction. Is worth more than what God has to offer. Can I say something? Can we stop right here? And just. I just want to. Just interject something right quick.

[14:38] Man the world has sold the church. A pot of beans. They say that we can go out. And we can live up our life. They say that we can go out. And we can follow your dreams.

[14:48] And figure out what you want to do in life. And follow your desires. And you just go ahead. And you do what you want to do. And they. They fill your mind with. Man. What God wants.

[14:59] What God's will for your life is. It doesn't really matter. Because you only have today. And we end up selling what God has given us. What God has. God has made us. For a bowl of beans.

[15:10] You realize that this. This life isn't all that we have. It's just 70 years. And then we have eternity after that. You realize that right? You realize that. We look at Esau. And we say. How stupid can you be?

[15:22] But I wonder what. What people would look at us. In heaven. Saying. How stupid can you guys be? You're selling out. You're selling out for the world. When you have so much more. The question is.

[15:34] Are you a profane person? Have you taken the gifts. That God has given you. And sold them away. For your dreams and desires. If we could. Can we. Can we go back.

[15:44] And see what God has made us. Real quick again. Because we went over that. This morning. If we could. If 2nd Corinthians chapter 5. Verse 19. 2nd Corinthians chapter 5. Verse 19. I just want to remind us.

[15:55] Once again. What God has gifted us with. What has God gifted us with. In 2nd Corinthians chapter 5. Verse 19.

[16:05] The Bible says this. To wit. That God was in Christ. Reconciling the world. Unto himself. Not imputing their trespasses. Unto them.

[16:16] And have committed unto us. The word of reconciliation. Verse 20. This first phrase. This first thing. Now then. What are we?

[16:27] We. Are. Ambassadors. For. Christ. You know what God has made you? We talked about it this morning. We talked about it. We gave the description of what your job was.

[16:38] God made you. An ambassador. God has given you. A gift. God has given you. The ability. To go. And tell the world. That he has saved them. That he has redeemed them.

[16:49] That he has bought them. That he has died for them. That he is. That he has given his only begotten son. And what do we do with it? Are we like Esau?

[17:01] Have we given away. Our God given. Right. Have we. Looked at the gift. That what God has given us. And haven't seen the value. Have we looked at it. And said.

[17:12] Man. This isn't worth it. I'd rather live for the temporal. I'm hungry. Don't you realize. What good is this gift? It doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't give me food. It doesn't provide food for my family. It doesn't provide.

[17:22] Me. Me. Entertainment. It doesn't provide me. Me. Me. The satisfaction. That I need. Don't you realize. I don't need this gift. And that's what we say. Don't we say that? That's the same thing what Esau said.

[17:35] What good is this gift? I'm going to die here. If I don't get something to eat. And we end up selling out. For a bowl of beans. I want you guys to look at the.

[17:45] The repercussions. Or the outcomes. Of Esau's decision. We realize it was a bad trade. But I want to show you why it was a bad trade. Look what he missed out on.

[17:56] Look at the chances. The blessings that he could have had. That. Esau could have been. In the land of milk and honey. That would have been his country. But instead. He had to settle for a mountain range.

[18:07] Outside of the Dead Sea. Esau. Esau. Could have had his sons. That wrote the Bible. Esau. Did you hear that? Esau could have. His sons. And his grandsons.

[18:18] And his great great great grandsons. They could have been the ones. That God used to write his holy word. But yet they were worshipping. False gods and idols. His children would have been the children of promise.

[18:31] But yet his children were the children of the devil. His kids would have gotten to know God. They would have been around the things of God. Rather than the things that. The Edomites possessed.

[18:45] You know when the children of Israel. That when they came out of the land of Egypt. And they crossed the Red Sea. There was this highway that led right into Canaan. To the king's highway.

[18:57] And Moses went up to the king of Edom. Which was the sons of Esau. And he said. Can we pass through there? I said. You better not. He says.

[19:07] If our cows. If our people. If we eat anything. We'll replace it. We'll pay you. We promise. You stay out of our land. That was Esau's sons. You get that?

[19:19] He didn't take care of God's people. You realize. When King Saul went out. When King Saul was out there fighting. You know what one of his enemies were? The Edomites.

[19:29] This is truly. A sad story. And you know what? Before Esau dies. He realizes the mistake he makes.

[19:41] Do you know that? He realizes the mistake he makes. When it's time to give out the blessing. When it's time for dad to bless the son. What's he do?

[19:52] The Bible says in Hebrews chapter 12 verses 17. He says. For ye know how that afterwards. When he would have inherited the blessing. He was rejected. He was rejected. He found no place of repentance.

[20:03] Though he sought it carefully with tears. He realized what he gave up. He sought it with tears. And he wanted it back. But he was rejected. He was rejected.

[20:14] You know one day. I know God's not going to judge us for our sin. I really do. I believe that. We're not going to be judged for our sins. But one day. We're going to see all the blessings that we could have had.

[20:26] We could have seen all that God could have done through us. We were going to realize that what we could have done for Christ. It's going to be like. Lord I wish I would have. I wish I would have.

[20:37] That's why Paul said that in 2 Corinthians chapter 5. So there's going to be a judgment. That's why we labor. That's why we labor. To be approved of him. That's why I work hard. That's why my motivation is that I love him.

[20:48] And that's what constrains me. Is his love. That's why I work hard. Because I want to be approved. I want to be approved unto God. He tried to get it back.

[21:00] Esau tried to get it back. But he was rejected. God's blessing was revoked. Just like when the children of Israel. Sent 12 spies into Canaan. Remember that story too?

[21:14] Children of Israel get to that Jordan. And they're ready to cross. And they send out 12 spies. And you know the story. You know the song. 10 were bad. 2 were good. 2 were like. Yeah we can take it.

[21:25] 10 convinced the people. Like we can't do this. We can't do this. We can't do this. And so they convinced the whole people. All those 10 spies convinced the whole people.

[21:36] We're like grasshoppers in the sight of these giants. We can't do this. And so they convinced it. They said that we're not going on it. We don't want it. And God said fine. You're going to spend 40 years out in the wilderness.

[21:49] It's a mean harsh God. No, no. No. God never stopped loving them. But they missed out on blessings. Does that make sense? They spent 40 years of wasting their life. 40 years of never getting to see the promised land.

[22:00] 40 years of never getting out of the. I mean they left bondage to go to the promised land. They never got to see it. It had to be their kids that saw it. And they wasted 40 years of their kids life. And what did they do?

[22:12] Man they tried to get it back didn't they? Didn't they go off. Didn't they. Right after that they went out to war. And they got beat. But God still took care of them. He still loved them. It wasn't that.

[22:23] But they missed out on major blessings. What is it. What happens when we realize the gift that God has given us. Of being an ambassador for Christ.

[22:34] When we realize that God has made us ministers of this job of reconciliation. And we see that Paul. He gave his whole life to it. And we realize that you know what. I've been given that too.

[22:46] But yet we don't live for it. We take that gift and we use it profanely. We don't think it's precious. We don't work hard at it. What happens.

[22:57] One day in our life. We're going to be like. Oh junk. I messed up. The question is. How do we prevent this in our life? Isn't that the question?

[23:10] That's the question. I ask myself this. I was like. God I don't want to be a profane person. I don't want to be like Esau. I don't want to sell my birthright. I don't want to sell something that you have given me. I don't want. I know you haven't given me a birthright. I don't want to sell something you have given me.

[23:22] For something temporal. For something that's not going to last. I want to live whatever you've given me. I want to use whatever talents you've given me. I want to use whatever you've given me. For your honor. For your glory. And I want to work for you. So how do we.

[23:33] How do we prevent that? Well let's go back to Hebrews chapter 12. Because I believe he gives us the answer. In this text. The Bible says in Hebrews chapter 12.

[23:46] Verses 15. Looking diligently. Lest any man fail of the grace of God. Lest any root of bitterness. Springing up.

[23:58] Trouble you. And thereby many be defiled. Lest there be any fornicator or profane person. So what are we supposed to do? What are we supposed to do? To not become a profane person.

[24:11] To not have these sins in our life. What are we supposed to do? What does he say? Well verse 15 he says. Look diligently. Did you catch that? Looking diligently. What does that mean?

[24:25] Looking diligently. What are we supposed to be looking? Are we supposed to be just looking at different things? Like I don't want to. I mean what do we. What does he say back in the beginning of the verse? Back in the beginning of the chapter?

[24:37] What does God say at the beginning of the chapter? Let's go back to Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1. He says. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about.

[24:48] We are compassed about with so great a cloud of witness. Let us lay aside every weight of sin. Which thus so easily beset us. And let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

[24:58] And what does he say in these next three words? Looking unto Jesus. What does the writer, the author here, the Holy Spirit want us to look unto.

[25:10] In this race that we call life. He wants us to look unto Jesus. He wants us to look unto Jesus. And he just says it in verse 15. I want you to look diligently.

[25:22] Consistently. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Look at Jesus. Look at the promise. Look at what God has promised you. Fix your eyes on that. That will change everything. What was Esau's problem?

[25:34] Was Esau's problem at that moment, brother John? Was his problem that he didn't. His calculator was broken. And when he was figuring out what all blessings he had. With eating the beans. And with what the blessings could have been.

[25:45] Was it broken? Was his calculator broken? He couldn't figure out what was better? Was that his problem? No. His problem wasn't that. His problem wasn't. He wasn't fixed on the promise. His eyes wasn't fixed on the promise.

[25:56] He didn't realize what God had promised. He wasn't thinking about that. He wasn't meditating on that. He wasn't focusing on that. That's our problem in life. Why do we mess up? Why do we fall?

[26:07] Why are we letting sin come into our life? Because it's not because it's. It's not. It's because we have a looking problem. We're not fixed on Jesus. Our heart's not set on Jesus. Isn't that what Jesus says?

[26:21] In Matthew chapter 6 verse 33. What are we to seek first? Are we supposed to seek our food?

[26:33] The temporal gains? Because he went back. Before that he talked about that. He says you know. I take care of the birds. I clothe. I've clothed the flowers. And I clothe the grass.

[26:45] I take care of them. Now seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. So what is our job supposed to do? We're not supposed to be fixated on the temporal stuff.

[26:57] Don't be looking at the temporal stuff. Don't be looking at. Man I'm hungry right now. Man. Man I don't have enough money to pay my bills. Man I don't have. I don't have this. I don't have this. I don't have this. No we're supposed to be looking unto Jesus. We're supposed to be seeking first the kingdom of God.

[27:09] You see what I'm saying? Man. You realize. I desperately. I don't want my kids. I really don't want my kids to die and go to hell. That's what happened with Esau's kids.

[27:23] You realize that? His kids didn't love God. Because he was so focused on the temporal stuff. I don't want my kids to die and go to hell.

[27:35] Can I say that? I want my kids to be in a church. I want my kids to be raised up knowing God's promise. I want my kids to know that daddy loves Jesus. And he just wants to serve Jesus. And he's got his eyes fixed on Jesus.

[27:46] And so in return. When they grow older. They will fix their eyes on Jesus. They won't be that profane person. They won't realize that. You know what? I've been given this opportunity to grow up in a Christian home. I go to church every day of my life.

[27:57] They won't take that profanely. But yet. They will have their eyes focused on Jesus. Our problem. Our problem is. We have a looking problem.

[28:07] Why don't we view. Being an ambassador. Like we should. Like Paul did. Why don't we have that same heart's burden desire. To realize that we're a debtor.

[28:20] Why don't we have that same burden. And that. It's actually a desire. He says. I wish I could be a curse for my brother. If I had it my way.

[28:31] I would. I would be separated from Jesus Christ. From my brother. Why don't we have that? Why don't we have that? Is it because.

[28:42] That we're so focused. About the circumstances. And the temple stuff. Right now. That we're not really taking time. And we're not looking diligently. To what we should. We're not focusing on Jesus.

[28:54] Like we should. We don't realize. That what. What God has done. We don't realize. Who we were. In our sins. We don't realize. What. What God saved us from.

[29:05] We're not focused on Jesus. We're not seeking first. The kingdom of God. The problem was. That he. His eyes. Were not on the promise. He wasn't.

[29:19] Focusing on. On God or Jesus. The question tonight. I ask you guys. Is. Where are your eyes looking at? What are we looking at?

[29:35] Are we looking at our 401k? Are we looking at our retirement? Are we looking at that day. That one day. Man. I don't have to work again. Are we looking at that day. You know. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That.

[29:45] That. That. That future spouse. That future wife. Is our. Is our eyes. Our emotions. Our desires. All. Containment. Or. Tangled up. In the right now. The temporal stuff.

[29:58] Is your eyes focusing. Only on the problem. That you can see right now. Where are your eyes at? What are you seeking for? What are you desiring for? I hope it's the kingdom.

[30:11] I hope you're seeking for Jesus. Because the only way. That we're going to be effective. Effective ambassadors. The only way. That we're not going to be profane people. People that. That. That God has given us a gift.

[30:22] The only way. That we're going to take that gift. And go forward. Is. Is. Is if we're not profane people. And the only way to be a not. The only way not to be a profane person. Is. Is looking unto Jesus. Looking unto Jesus.
